Someones said this already- surely- but i cant stop thinking about ruis whole “thank you for giving me a chance to change” mentality

Because its super sweet and all but i dont think either him or tsukasa have realized how much tsukasa has changed because of rui

Like- read main story or even early game tsukasa and then read the most recent (eng or jp)

HES CHANGED SO MUCH and its all because rui humbled him- told him that he’d never be a star—because at that rate, he really wouldnt have—in a moment of pain and hurt because tsukasa was being a bitch towards nene, and also possibly because this great opportunity rui wanted to have was turning out to be a lie

Until tsukasa changed

Realized his behavior and worked to better himself, and (lets be honest) practically begs this guy hes known for maybe 2 months (idk how long the main story takes place) to come back and make shows with him because??? Because tsukasa thinks hes just that good of a director? Or maybe its because ruis the one who made him realize his true dream again and what being a “future star” really means

Not to say rui hasnt changed either, him and mizuki talk a bit about it in ena5 and he mentions it a lot,

I think the wonder halloween event might be the best example

Cus the reason i thought of this post is because i was reading tsukasa side story from that event and MAN is he cocky- like annoyingly so- idk why he was (and still is) my favorite /j

But anyway- i remembered just now that the whole plot of that event is rui learning not to hold himself back, which is a big part of his character development imo

On the other hand, ruis impact on tsukasa is less direct

Like i said its because rui first got him to realize his “true feelings” (as the game calls it), but after that its really all on tsukasa—well not quite-

See- a big part of Tsukasa’s character development is his constant realization of- i guess “his place in the world”

For me personally the phoenix edge event is a good example of him acknowledging it- but i realize it actually started way sooner

In the pop in my heart event- he realized that his acting is so far behind these american (or atleast english speaking) actors who can convey feelings through language barriers

Its his “humbling” arc if you will, he realizes just how far he needs to go, and its not that he’s not confident anymore, but that hes more aware of where his talents lie and isnt overconfident

And this is all stuff he learned more on his own- however: rui still helped propel this growth

He realized in the torpe event (on the stage of dazzling lights i believe-) that he had been holding tsukasa back by typecasting him, and decides to give him more diverse roles as well as let wxs do the play torpe in the first place (because as director, it was his final decision)

But after that—and this applies to all of wxs, but mostly nene+tsukasa—he goes and tries to figure out how to keep wxs together while still giving them the chance to grow as actors and not be confined to a stage

And he succeeds, and off wxs goes to improve!

They (and every character in game i feel) have changed and grown so much and its so awesome to see it happen—and its neat how much theyve influenced each other’s change through it all

So yeah— ruikasa(/p or /r idc) have helped each other grow so much and i hate them with a fiery passion /j

you were sitting on a swing on the beach waiting for lando to come back. it had been a few months since you and him started hanging out and became friends.

it wasnt surprising when you, along the way of you guys becoming close, started catching feelings for him. you were captivated by his charms, his beautiful and flirtatious personality, and those eyes that hold a million stars.

"y/n?" you hear a voice call out from behind you.

"yes, lan?" you respond back using his nickname.

"i got us some juice. they said these two were the top sellers." he hands you one as he sits down.

"oooo these look good. what flavour is this one?" you ask him waiting to take a sip.

"i think that ones called 'golden sun', it has pineapple, orange, and mango im pretty sure." he answers.

you take a sip from your juice and you were met with a wonderful taste. sweet and sour, but savory as well.

"is it good?" he asks as you eagerly nod your head.

"of course!! you can never go wrong with mango." you answer taking another sip from your juice, "whats yours called?"

"mines called 'starfish dreams', i think it has strawberry, kiwi, peach, and pineapple. not quite sure, but its good. sweet with a hint of sourness." he answers, "wanna try mine?"

"yes!! that sounds equally as good! you can try mine as well." he was ready to give you his cup and you suddenly had an idea.

you grabbed his and gave him yours and then you grabbed his arm making him give you a confused look until he realized what you were doing.

"ohhhh..." he sighs in relief, "i thought i did something wrong for a second."

you laugh out loud at the thought of him being concerned for a second.

"no, no, i just need a nice pic for the gram since you took all of the ones i was gonna post." you give him a side eye as you take out your phone for a picture.

"you snooze you lose." he sticks his tongue out at you, to which you do back.

after you snapped a couple photos, you guys go back to having a conversation about how pretty the view was at night.

"it was really nice of you to invite me here." you say to him as he looks at you.

"im glad i grew the balls to ask you to hangout with me when nobody was willing to," he chuckles, "i wouldve been alone today."

"oh so basically what youre saying is that i was the last option?" you joke around waiting for his response.

"no, no, no...not like that. more like you were the scariest option on the list." he says as you give him a look.

"how? im not that scary looking...right?" you ask him as he violently shakes his head.

"obviously not...i meant–ughhh...what i meant was you were only the scariest option on the list because i was afraid youd reject me." he spews out.

"reject you? why would you think that?" you give him a more confused look.

"because compared to me, i am definitely way out of your league," you look at him in the eyes as he looks away, "youre just too beautiful, refreshing, fun to be around, and youre just so charming. after our first lunch together, i kept thinking about you and how it was impossible to love somebody at first sight, but it was definitely possible and im the living proof of it."

"is this you confessing your love for me, norris?" you ask him as he finally looks into your eyes.

"yeah...i guess it is." he looks at your face for any sort of reaction, but all you did was look into his eyes which made him nervous.

all the nervousness he had were washed away from his body in seconds after you leaned in and gave him a kiss, to which he reciprocated.

"i feel the exact same way, lan." you give him a smile as you give him another kiss.

both of you guys spent your night at the swing looking at the stars, talking about random things that you both were interested in, and getting in the water for a little swim; soaking in each others love for one another.

When his dad had said, “We’re going to visit an old friend,” Griefer thought they’d end up at some elderly guy’s house, maybe some high school buddy his dad hadn’t seen in years. What he didn’t expect was to walk in and see… you.

He stood there, staring at you, frozen for a couple of seconds. And then he realized you were staring right back, which somehow made it worse. Awkward. But he couldn’t look away. Those eyes… you’d changed a lot since he’d last seen you. The quiet kid he remembered was gone, and in their place was someone he barely recognized but felt he’d known forever.

Your mom was still as sweet as ever, just like he remembered, chatting away with his dad like they’d never stopped. Even when you all sat down in the living room, they kept on, talking and laughing like they had endless stories to catch up on. Occasionally, your mom would ask Griefer a question or two, and he’d stammer out a reply, nerves on edge. And when his dad and your mom got up to make some tea, leaving the two of you alone in the room, the silence grew thick. It felt impossible to start a conversation—it was never this hard before.

Memories flooded back. You two had met when you were just six years old. He’d liked you right from the start; you were a good friend, someone he could count on to sit with at school, to meet up with after class. He remembered the way you’d climb trees together, daring each other to go higher. He remembered how you’d get quiet and a little shy whenever he brought his friends around. He remembered you almost getting expelled together on the first day of high school.

But what he remembered most was not wanting to let you go the day you left. You’d both cried, clinging to each other as you got in the car to leave town, and he could still feel the ache from that day, the hollow feeling that settled in his chest. You hadn’t told him why you were leaving, but he knew you were going to miss him just as much as he was going to miss you.

It had taken him a long time to get used to you being gone. And now here you were, right in front of him again. Taking a deep breath, he finally blurted out, “S0? H0W’VE Y0U BEEN..?”

The words tumbled out awkwardly, and he immediately cursed himself. Was that too casual? Should he have said something else? Something deeper? But his internal ranting stopped the moment you answered with a simple, “Fine.”

"Fine?" he thought. Was that a “fine!” with excitement, or just a flat “fine”? Damn, he was overthinking every little thing, and he hated it. But then the conversation found its rhythm, and soon, he was laughing with you again like no time had passed at all. He forgot how easy it was to talk to you, how natural it felt. He told you about his life—maybe not the whole Venomshank thing, and he left out the endless hours gaming—but he filled you in on enough to say he was “doing fine.” And he listened to your stories, dropping little jokes here and there just to make you laugh. God, he’d missed that laugh, the way it lifted at the edges, the way your smile always seemed to reach your eyes, making them light up.

Before he knew it, hours had passed. Time flew by with you, and he barely realized he had to leave until your mom was gently ushering everyone out the door. But, luck was on his side: she’d arranged to meet again next week.

Later, as he sat on the stairs that led to your house, you sat beside him, still smiling from the day. “IT’S B33N- UH, G00D T4LKING TO Y0U, Y’KN0W? W3 SH0ULD S33 EACH 0TH3R MOR3 0FT3N.”

You chuckled, giving him a playful look. “You missed me, huh? I missed you, too.” He felt his throat go dry at that, coughing to hide his embarrassment as he looked away.

“Y34H… 1 DID. M1SS3D MY FR13ND.”

When Griefer finally got back home after the long drive, he went straight to his room, kicked off his shoes, jacket, and shirt, and crashed onto his bed. He lay there, staring up at the ceiling, replaying the day in his mind. He’d had so much fun, laughed more than he had in months. He’d missed that—missed you. Maybe he’d forgotten just how much he’d liked you back then.

As his thoughts drifted into more dangerous, cheesy territory, he rolled over, burying his face in his pillow, kicking his feet a little like an embarrassed kid. The feeling was undeniable, and it made his heart beat a little faster. He missed you—he really missed you.

And he knew it, especially from the way his heart skipped a beat every time he pictured your smile.

Another Nuzi rant. Don't mind me

Spoilers, duh

Since I've already done a quick character study/nuzi rant from N's side. Here's one from Uzi's side!

This is probably gonna be just me repeating things people have already said... again. But I love Uzi. (Just like every other character in Murder Drones, honestly.) But Liam did a wonderful job of making an angsty, emo girl, borderline maniac that we know as Uzi. Her character, to me at least, never became the annoying overdramatized and overused stereotype that follows her style. She has real reasons for being the way she is.

A loner, whose dad loves nothing but doors. School is not different, as her classmates pretty much forget about her existence on a day to day basis. No one to talk to, no one to connect with, gives her the angsty side that I absolutely adore. Because underneath all of that toughness is just a lonely little drone who was left by herself since early age. But guess who comes in and busts down those walls (literally and figuratively)?

Our good boi N! Despite their rough start, N never really gave Uzi a reason not to trust him. Their chance encounter, and a broken sensor, allowed them to have the talk that might have never happened. Their beginning might have been a lucky accident, but for the rest of the season, we can see how both sides had to work to make well... Nuzi work!

For Uzi, asking for help is like asking for a death sentence probably. After being on her own for so long, she doesn't expect anyone to help. With that information in mind, the first time she let's that wall crumble was episode 2, Heartbeat.

"Uzi, shoot! Or give it to me!"

Granted, we all know that was not our N. But in that moment, when Uzi was in an enough distressed state, she sought help in N. We all know how that ended, though. Absolute Solver took advantage of that and almost killed her, before N once again sweeped in to save her. The one and only notorious Nuzi misunderstanding was, for better or for worse, cleared up pretty quickly. Seeing as glitchproduction only has so much money at their disposal, they can't really drag this ordeal out. Personally, I'm glad that it didn't. The long drama that is just a misunderstanding after misunderstanding gets quite tedious to follow.

So, moving forward in The Promening, Uzi once again seeks out N when she's in distress. When she sees and hears about what Doll and Lizzy were gonna do, she books it to the only person she knows can help her.

N! Now don't get me wrong. Uzi, by herself is plenty strong. She's shown off her fighting and capabilities, and would have probably been able to take V on. She's taken J down before, aaaand Uzi does technically also take V down in Cabin Fever. But she still went out of her way to go find N. So they could work together and get this mess sorted out.

And then there's this. God I love Cabin Fever, and surprisingly no, not for the Falling.... for you? scene. No, I loved the entire Uzi going on murder spree because she can! The music was such a banger too. But back to Uzi. She recognizes V and briefly snaps back to her usual self. Curious isn't it? N and Uzi both tried reaching out to V, but because V is so untrusting (and we all understand why from ep 5, Home). Here Uzi tried to ask V for help... in form of N.

I find it interesting how ever since Uzi met N and V, she's been getting better at asking for help. Sure, V shot her down because, once again, V was scared. Uzi was turning into the monster that only Cyn has been capable of creating. This soon leads to N yeeting Uzi into the f*cking stratosphere and the two have a chat.

I love how the animators included Uzi hiding behind her bat wings.

Her metaphorical walls were back up. And guess who broke them yet again.

The bestest boi N! And ever since this moment, N and Uzi are way more open.

Episode 5 was taking place in N's memories. But episode 6 is where their trust and care shines. Yeah, sure, there was the hand holding. And it was a big moment! But I enjoyed the little things more. Uzi checking in on N, nodding at his little comments and jokes.

Summary: I love Nuzi. Send help they're on my mind 24/7.

Long vent warning 🙃

So if you came here for my typical carefree content, don't feel forced to read this at all :)

Ik I won't care if you do or don't, but I just need to get this to someone

I see a lot of people talking about having no friends and having bad friends, and both are really bad and I'm not trying to put down anyone's experiences, but I feel like there's a different kind of hurt when your friends just don't like you. Like, they're good people, but they just don't like you.

Like, I have this one friend (J) where, he's the closest thing I have to a best friend (aka, we see each other once a week and seem to enjoy each other's company), but I really don't think J likes me

He always has an excuse for not hanging out. Always. My sibling and I wanted to go to a comic con and invited J and his girlfriend, K. He mentioned a few weeks before that he might not be able to go because he might have to babysit a child or something. Closer to the con, J said that he, infact, wouldn't have to watch the child, which we were happy about, but then immediately he said that he "wasn't allowed" to go to this con. The reason he gave was "My dad thinks comic cons are cults." Even though J's been to several cons, one of which was in the US (We're Canadian).

And just yesterday a group I was going to had a Halloween night, and J promised he would go. We all made plans to be there, but the night of, I texted him and asked him if he was coming, to which he responded with "I'm not allowed", even though he's at the age where that shouldn't matter at all

I asked him why, and he never got back.

Everything I want to do, everything we try to plan, he's got a reason to not go.

He says he likes me and likes hanging out with me, but I don't believe it. Every excuse he uses is bullshit.

And it really sucks because I truly thought he'd be a friend that sticks around. Every friend I've ever had has left the moment I got too close.

And it's not like I can easily make friends, as I've never gone to school and I'm not in college

My parents keep scolding me about how I have no friends and that "God designed people to need other people" and that I "can't live life alone", but I don't know how the fuck they just expect me to summon new ones.

I've exhausted all groups I'm in of potential friends. And it's not like I don't try to make friends. I've been rejected dozens of times

But I know I'm just about ready to stop reaching out to J. I'll just stop asking if he wants to do anything and see if he initiates anything. When he doesn't, at least I'll know for sure that he doesn't really like me xD

Slightly different topic, but I really feel like I can't ever open up to anyone (which is why I rant to strangers on the internet). Literally everyone I've opened up to has either left me or betrayed me with it

I shared my struggles with a licensed therapist, and she made me feel like my feelings were nothing. She told me it was a phase and refused to hear any more

I shared one of my phobias in a trusted friend group chat, and one of the dudes (W) sent me a gif of it, have me the worst panic attack I've ever had, and then W called me sensitive when I complained about what he did (I was crying non stop for 30 mins, couldn't calm down completely for the next couple days, and got triggered my a simple household item that has NEVER triggered me before. I mean like, I saw this simple thing, froze in place, started hyperventilating, and nearly had another panic attack)

And there are a few other examples, but the worst one is when I opened up to my best friend at the time (N). I opened up, shared my story, cried in front of her. She left me the following week. N suddenly started talking to her other friend more and I could barely get a moment alone with her anymore. We barely talk now

I'm just tired of people. Tired of trying. Idek what I'm supposed to do at this point. I only rant to strangers cuz it's a lot less painful if someone online unfollows you than if a friend leaves you

Anyway I think that's enough for right now, I got pretty carried away 😅

brief explanation... the murder time trio (abbreviated as the mtt) are a trio of sanses (killer, dust, and horror) who are edgy and murderous and also severely traumatized. i really like to think about them a lot because i think they're really interesting and they get my gears thinking. i usually post my art, writing, headcanons, character analysises, rants, questions (all mostly about the mtt) and then other random stuff in my life that i need to get out :3

i might talk about serious topics like murder, abuse, toxic relationships, eating disorders, mental issues, and (a LOT) more. no matter how much i sillyfy the murder time trio at the end of the day they belong to dark aus with a lot of potentially triggering concepts involved and maybe i even amplify that. if you're not ok with that stuff then i really don't mind if you scroll past my stuff or just straight up block me i won't mind 🧡

Demencia befriending Flug’s assistant (#letDemhavefriends2K24) and they’re up late hanging out and chatting, kinda like a sleepover. They’re used to her ranting about Black Hat all the time, but one night she turns it around and starts pressing THEM about their romantic life instead.

Just for her to casually announce that she’s read Flug’s diary. Do you want to see the pictures she took of the pages? Whats that? That’s a violation of privacy??? Bullshit. Blasphemy.

…But anyway check out what he wrote in the margins on page 6 that day you wore that outfit you like. Scribbled out confessions on the next page. That accessory you thought you misplaced weeks ago, just chilling in his drawer. Lists of your favorite things.

She'd tease you now and then insisting he likes you, but you wouldn't believe her. You've kind of admired him from afar, but didn't want to step out of line. Now here she is, holding her phone and giggling as she flips through her gallery (she knows better now to leave it where she found it so it looks less suspicious…you start to wonder how many times she's pulled shit like this. You also remember your exact words you told her a week ago.)

Flug has a different journal to write more personal thoughts in because the book he already shares with Demencia would just be a disaster. Now he knows it doesn't matter because Demencia always finds a way.

I don’t speak on reader’s reactions a whole lot because everyone’s different and I like to be able to include everyone, so it’s up to you whether you’re giggling with her or telling her it’s not nice to invade someone’s privacy.

As I’ve said before, whether you two are already dating or not, Demencia makes fun of you guys. I’m talking about the classic “Get a room!” When you guys say even a single word to eachother.

A random thing, but when it comes to the confessions part, Flug is better at writing down his feelings rather than expressing them verbally. So he’d probably confess to you that way unless you beat him to it. One thing I must share with you, is that if you confess, there’s a possibility Flug may reject you, not because he doesn’t feel the same way, but because he’s worried about certain..obstacles if you both get together (BlackHat)

Fave performance: obviously the show i went to!! lollapalooza after party at the Vic Theater in Chicago you will always be famous to me and the other 1200 people whomst attended. she was amazing, i've never seen such energy on stage and in the crowd. it felt almost spiritual, i'm not exaggerating. her live singing is fantastic, and she has both incredible command of the crowd and endearingly self-conscious stage banter. Also the marie antoinette costume was beautiful and she looked great, and the wig drop was hilarious and perfect to set the tone. she's so extra in the absolute best way <3 10000/10. Other performances i think about a lot: her actual lollapalooza show (she really gave her best to both Chicago shows! and the Chicago crowds gave it right back! we love our Midwest princess!) and her performance of good luck babe on Jimmy Fallon, which was stunning visually and musically.

Fave interview: i love when she gets to chat with other queer people, so i have to go with the time she got interviewed by Trixie Mattel, the most recent one with Bowen Yang, and this Triple J interview.

On Ice 2: A Stammering Adrien AU Story

Ladybug hissed at the cold as she navigated through a now-frozen Paris. Even with the new power-ups, every second she spent moving through the chilled wind felt like an hour. Her cheeks and nose were probably the coldest. She'd give almost anything for a scarf or a ski mask at that moment.

'Maybe thinking about warm things will help,' she thought. 'A blanket. No, warmer. Hot cocoa. Better, but still not warm enough. A nice campfire. Yeah, that's good. A big, heavy coat. That works too. Chat Noir. Wait, Chat Noir?'

Yes, amid her thinking, Ladybug saw her partner coming toward her, as fast as a torpedo.

"Chat!" she exclaimed with a smile.

"M'lady!" Chat shouted as he rushed to hug her. "Boy, am I glad to s-s-s-see you!"

Ladybug laughed. "You too, kitty. Say, how were the macaroons I gave you last week?"

"Delicious," said Chat. "Ate… Ate the whole box in one go."

"Careful, kitty. Don't want to overdo it with the sweets," Ladybug teased as she patted his stomach.

Chat chuckled. "Moi? Never."

Ladybug smiled. It was always great to catch up with Chat. It was just a shame it had to be during an Akuma attack. That's when the windchill came back.

"Brrrr. This cold is driving me crazy," said Ladybug. "We better get a move on and…"

"Put this Akuma on ice?" Chat said with a smirk.

Ladybug couldn't help but let out a snort. Yes, the pun was lousy, but in the funniest way. And she could see the smug look on Chat's face. He had one every time he made her laugh.

"Honestly," she said. "Are you a cat or a clown?"

Chat shrugged. "C-C-C-Can't I be both?"

With a few more chuckles, the young duo stopped their jesting and went through the streets to find the Akuma, hopefully before they caught frostbite.

Frozer laughed as he skated expertly across the frozen Parisian pathways.

"Ah, revenge really is like ice cream," he said. "Sweet and best served cold. Wouldn't you agree, Hawkmoth?"

"Overused metaphors aside," said Hawkmoth telepathically. "There's still the matter of Ladybug and Chat Noir's Miraculouses."

"Keep your jacket on," said Frozer. "I'm sure those little pipsqueaks are on their way right now. And once they get here, I'll make them into Ladybug and Cat-sickles."

"Ooh, Do those c-c-c-come in different flavors? I'm p-p-partial to orange, myself."

Frozer's eyes went wide as he spun around to see none other than Ladybug and Chat Noir in the flesh.

Frozer smirked. "Well, if it isn't Paris' favorite pair of pipsqueak protectors. Come to see me turn Paris into my own winter wonderland?"

"Sorry, Frozer, but we're here to serve you a piping hot plate of justice," said Ladybug.

"Ooh," said Chat. "G-Great one-liner, m'lady."

"Yeah," said Frozer with a grin. "Great one-liner. I'd even say it was COOL!"

FWOOSH!

With one swift motion, Frozer sent a barrage of sharp icicles flying toward the heroes.

"M'lady, look out!" Chat exclaimed.

As he did, he pushed Ladybug and himself out of the way, only getting half of his tail cut off.

"Yikes!" said Ladybug. "Chaton, are you okay?!"

Chat picked himself up. "I'm alright, m'lady. J-J-J-Just a little winter wardrobe malfunction."

Ladybug would have made a witty reply, but she and Chat found themselves dodging another icy blast as Frozer continued his assault. It was one dodge after another in what almost felt like a dance for survival. Ladybug even caught herself doing a pirouette.

"You kids are good," said Frozer, "Would have made some excellent students if the city hadn't decided to RUIN MY LIFE!!"

As the villain ranted, Ladybug and Chat took cover behind a frozen bus.

"I think now would b-b-be a pretty good time for one of your lucky charms, m'lady," said Chat.

"Right," said Ladybug as she drew her yo-yo. "LUCKY CHARM!"

With a burst of energy and a flash of light, a large bag of salt materialized before them.

"A bag of salt?" Ladybug pondered.

"Of course," said Chat. "When salt d-d-dissolves, the sodium and chloride separate and..."

Chat's statement found itself cut short when an icicle pierced the ground in front of him, forcing him and Ladybug to move.

"Layman's terms?" Ladybug asked.

"Salt melts ice," said Chat. "Quick, toss me the bag."

Ladybug tossed Chat the bag, but as she did, she couldn't help but worry.

'Does he know what he's doing?' she thought.

However, just before he rushed off, Chat gave her a wink and a smirk. Her fears were put to rest.

'Oh,' she thought. 'He definitely knows what he's doing.'

Once he was close enough, Chat opened the bag, and did what he did best. He ran his mouth.

"Hey, F-F-F-Frozer, next time, try for a more original gimmick," he said. "There's, like, a dozen ice-themed supervillains already."

Frozer snarled. "You're judging me?! Who's the one running around in a kitty costume?!"

"No judgment," Chat said with a shrug. "I'm just... I'm just saying. Ice-themed villains are a dime a dozen."

Frozer's temper flared as he kept blasting at the young hero, only for him to dodge every shot

"Oops, touched a nerve. You know, for an ice villain, you're a real hothead," said Chat.

"You insolent little whelp!" Frozer exclaimed. "When I'm done with you, there won't be enough of you to fit in an ice tray."

Chat chuckled. "You know, I think you need t-t-to lighten up. No need to let a few jokes make you SALTY."

Salt was sprinkled all over the villain in the blink of an eye, and whatever wasn't on him made it to the ice beneath his feet. The once-solid ice became a pile of slush, and the villain would find himself hitting the ground with a painful THUD.

"Ladybug, now!" Chat exclaimed.

Ladybug wasted no time, skating as fast as her skates could carry her. She rushed over and snatched the earrings from Frozer's ears, smashing them until the Akuma finally emerged.

"No more evil-ding for you, little Akuma," she said with a swing of her yo-yo. "TIME TO DE-EVILIZE!"

The butterfly was captured, cleansed, and set free.

"Bye-bye, little butterfly," said Ladybug. "MIRACULOUS LADYBUG!!"

She tossed the empty bag of salt in the air, and in an instant, Paris went from a frozen wasteland to the City of Love again. Frozer transformed back into Phillipe, who couldn't help but shed a tear.

"I meant no harm," he said. "I was just trying to save my business, my dream."

Chat stepped up. "I'm sure a few more c-c-customers and a good lawyer can help. Your dream doesn't have to be over yet."

"Chat Noir's right," said Ladybug. "In fact, maybe we can help. We've pushed a product or two in the past."

"You two would do that for me? Oh, merci, Ladybug, merci beaucoup," said Phillipe as he picked himself up.

Ladybug nodded. "Whatever we can do to help."

With everything settled, Ladybug and Chat ended the mission with their signature fist bump.

"Bien Joué!"

Luka stood outside the locker rooms of the ice rink, conflicted.

'She's right in there,' he thought. 'You could just knock on the door, ask her to come out, and talk about it.”

Did Luka really want this? Did he want to risk breaking Adrien’s heart by asking Marinette out? It’s not like Adrien couldn’t find someone else, right? Then again, he knew for a fact that Adrien and Marinette loved each other. Did he really want to disrupt that? This debate went back and forth as his hand unconsciously moved toward the locker room door. That’s when he heard a loud “Ahem.” He turns to see an irritated-looking Kagami Tsurugi, causing him to gulp.

"Kagami, I swear, this isn't what it looks like..."

"I hope not," said Kagami. "Because it looked like you were about to be a total scumbag."

Luka threw up his hands in defense. "I was just going to knock, that's all."

"And then what?"

Luka sighed. That one question managed to put an end to Luka's mental debate.

"You know, for a second, I really was ready to disrupt their melody, just to be with Marinette," he said. "But I can't... No matter how much I want to."

"I know the feeling. Part of me wants Adrien more than anything, but he's chosen his target, and it's not me."

Luka exhaled. "Yeah. But hey, it's not that bad, right? I mean, they make each other happy."

"Yeah... Yeah, you're right," said Kagami. "And besides, there are plenty of fish in the sea, right?"

"Exactly. I ought to know. I live on a boat," said Luka.

Kagami shook her head. She could tell Luka was prouder of that joker than he had any right to be. Still, the point was as clear as crystal. Marinette and Adrien were meant for each other, and Kagami and Luka's destiny lied elsewhere. As this thought began to sink in, Marinette and Adrien emerged from the girl's and boy's locker rooms respectively. Without missing a beat, Kagami and Luka rushed to them.

"Are you okay, Mari?"Luka asked. "You're not hurt, are you?"

Marinette blushed and smiled. "I'm okay. No harm done."

Luka felt a wave of relief was over him. Meanwhile, Adrien was being inspected from head to toe by Kagami and Gorilla, causing his face to turn a bashful pink.

"I-Is this n-n-necessary?" Adrien asked.

"Hold still," said Kagami. "Gotta make sure you're okay."

Adrien shooed their hands away. "I'm fine. Really."

"Hey, don't you dismiss me," said an irritated Kagami. "I was worried."

"I know. I'm s-s-s-sorry. But really, I-I'm okay."

Kagami smiled. Everything seemed to wrap up nicely until Kagami caught Adrien and Marinette awkwardly avoiding each other's eye contact. She groaned softly, growing weary of this emotional rollercoaster, but then, with the ding of a phone notification, Kagami got an idea.

"Hey, Luka, my ride is here. You need a lift home?" she said with a wink.

"O-Oh, yeah, sure. Thanks," said Luka. "I'll get my things."

Adrien and Marinette's faces both went pale as they heard their friends' plan. Adrien shot a desperate look to Kagami, and Marinette to Luka. Both expressions screamed, "Please don't leave!" But these pleas fell on deaf ears, for better or worse, as Luka mouthed 'Good luck' to Marinette and Kagami mouthed 'You've got this' to Adrien. Without another word, the heiress and the musician were out the door, and Marinette and Adrien were left alone.

Adrien could already feel himself starting to shake. Left alone with his crush. What was he to do? He couldn't just run. What would she think of him? But that blunder they had on the ice was just so awkward, so embarrassing, how could they even hope to address it? Then again, if they didn't talk about it, would anything change? That's when Adrien made his decision. He took a deep breath, forced himself to stop shaking, and looked at Marinette.

"Hey, M-M-Marinette..."

Marinette gulped. "H-Hey, Adrien..."

"About what happened on the ice," he said. "I'm really s-s-s-sorry. I was... I was caught up in what I was doing, and..."

"No, no, no, I'm sorry. It was my fault," she said before chuckling. "Clumsy ol' Marinette, right? You're fine, really."

"You're not that clumsy all the t-t-t-time. Besides, I'm... I'm the one who got on the ice without knowing the first thing about skating."

"Yeah, but this was my idea, and..." Marinette said before shaking her head. "You know what, this is silly, letting a little spill embarrass us so much. Accidents happen, right?"

Adrien gave a sigh of relief. "Yeah, yeah. Accidents. That's all that was. An accident."

Marinette blushed. "So maybe, if you want, we can do this again?"

"Yeah," said Adrien with glowing, pink cheeks. "I-I'd like that."

Just then, Adrien felt a tap on his shoulder. He looked to see his bodyguard tapping his wristwatch.

"Oops, that's right. I have to go," said Adrien.

Marinette then looked at her phone. "My ride's here too. Have a good night, Adrien."

The two youngsters parted ways. Both seemed calm, but they were doing cartwheels and backflips in their heads. Despite the awkwardness and embarrassment, both were excited to see each other again. A small victory. One both Marinette AND Adrien hoped would lead to something more.

I feel like I came across very negative in my villain!Rae rant, which I definitely didn’t mean to, I was just sorta throwing my funky opinions and interpretations out into the void, so I’m sorry if it seemed kinda mean 😅 I just see it pushed on Heyhay as an idea a lot by chat and it throws me off a little-

To make up for it though, here is a list of Fable SMP characters (in no particular order) who I think would also have great fucking villain arcs in an AU where they were given the chance:

Rae - Obviously, enough said, we’ve been over this.

Caspian - I’ll be so honest, I just want to see what happens when the goofy uncle man snaps. This man has so much pent up trauma, so much heartbreak and frustration and pain, seeing that unleashed would be very cool

Aax - Holy shit it would be terrifying?!? All that shit about Aax being “designed to kill” and “made to be a weapon” can you imagine if they went full fucking feral and murderous, Winter Soldier style?? Like blank brain, head empty no thoughts just instinctual killing? Jesus Christ it’s horrifying

Athena - They’re too innocent, let them kill someone. /j But for real, he’s got all that nether power pent up in there, imagine c!Athena just losing it and accidentally zombifying a bitch Len-style, or blowing a crater in the side of the mountain during an argument as they’re encircled by flames.

Jamie - We got a little bit of this in S2, but it was more accidental negligence/manipulation (not defending it but like… you know that whole arc) but like imagine if c!Jamie just went full on identity crisis god-villain. Imagine the feral-Wolf style arc but with a bear, absolutely wrecking shit. Not just that, but a sentient god-bear who could hypothetically manipulate and control animals??? It’d just be really interesting to me

Haley - I just think it could be super interesting to have c!Haley be this like, actually mad but hyper intelligent villain. We know now how much jumbled, unnatural knowledge c!Haley seems to have, if that was being used for evil? Oh my god that would be unsettling and effective-

Arisanna - Maybe this one’s a controversial one but I just think Arisanna would make a great villain. Like having lost everything like that, the constant paranoia, if they finally snapped?? And I don’t know if Ari would be a “scheming pulling strings villain” or just a “brutally violent killing villain” but I think both would be really interesting. Also the idea of like a million allays being sicked on her enemies like hounds is kinda terrifying in its own right
