I am truly delighted with how these turned out. I would also like to extend my gratitude to everyone who approached me for pictures. I heard that some people were deeply disappointed they couldn't find me, and it's incredibly flatterin’ to hear I was considered a “con celebrity” by multiple Fallout fans. Thank you all so much!

Happy 95th Birthday to Mickey and Minnie Mouse! - Tribute to sci-fi movies and comics (cosplay) - Star Wars and Star Trek

Unfortunately, sorry for the delay, since I don't have time to do everything myself, but here I am. Since both Mickey and Minnie are celebrating their 95th anniversary and since it's the 100th anniversary of the Disney Studio, I'm going to make it a little bit more of a celebration by drawing tributes to famous movies and also famous artists. By the way, I found inspiration in a drawing by the genius Andrea Freccero. I took inspiration more from Italian comics. Yes, I started with Star Wars, in which Mickey and friends (as well as enemies) play significant roles. I hope you have seen at least the first Star Wars movies as well as the sequels and get familiar with the famous sci-fi genres created by George Lucas and his people. Yes, I drew it my way.

Mickey is Luke Skywalker, Minnie is Mara Jade, Daisy is Princess Leia, Donald is Han Solo, Scrooge is Obi Wan-Kenobi, Huey is the Mandolarian, Dewey is the Ewok (Ewoks), Louie is Master Yoda, Goofy is C-3PO (the golden robot), Gyro is a member of the Imperial Army, Peg-Leg Pete is Darth Vader and Phantom Blot is Emperor Palpatine. And then there's the droid R2-D2. Yes, I prefer the second variant with Scrooge as Darth Vader, but oh well. I hope you like this drawing and this idea and you like characters like this.

The next drawing is related to Star Trek (please people don't get confused with two different sci-fi franchises) and I took it as inspiration not only from the current series and movies, but also from the comics written by Bruno Enna and drawn by Alessandro Perina, Andrea Freccero and Marco Mazzarello. I hope there are some who know about this. However, I drew in my own way in my own style, and this is like a redraw. Mickey is James T. Kirk, Minnie Mouse is Christine Chapel, Goofy is Spock, Ellsworth is Montgomery Scott, Horace is Leonard McCoy, Clarabelle Cow is Uhura and Eega Beeva is Hikaru Sulu. I hope you like this concept and this idea.

Three Ships:

So I assume this is like favorites? Okay, I'll try to do separate fandoms as well to keep it interesting and I'll try and make it less common ships, not exactly rare ships per se because like... I am very shy and anxiety prone so truthfully iunno what's rare and not because I don't engage a lot.

Thunderweave (Gale/Rolan) : I really like this one, even more since my fiancee and I RPed it with the idea of transmasc Rolan. It's really kind of interesting and also Rolan deserves a better fellow wizard than Lorroakan and I think Gale is a great fellow wizard being both talented, secure in his abilities, but also willing to see the potential and power in another person. Also I super identify with Rolan and my fiancee does a really good really convincing Gale for RP and cosplay. Kabru/Mithrun: I initially preferred Kabru/Laios, which I still really like honestly, but I read a longer post about Mithrun's disabilities and his trauma and how Kabru treats him like a person when most people don't and like as a heavily traumatized person who became suddenly and severely disabled as a result, I really really relate and hope that my partners will show me that same level of care when they are able (distance has been the main reason why not, my mom has mainly been the one taking care of me since I became disabled so I don't really know what my partners will do in person because one lives far away and one has been called away on family issues since before this became a major issue) Thraina (Thrall/Jaina) : This is the only hetero ship I consistently come back to. I usually prefer Sylvanas/Jaina, but realistically I don't want to put that one here for only one reason. Sylvanas/Jaina has a lot of basis in what it could be (No one at Blizzard who has been there consistently through their entire development is talented enough to have made it work so it's all theoretical and based on what much better unpaid fanfiction writers decide). Thraina, meanwhile was unintentionally somehow written as one of the most equitable, healtyh, equal, and level relationships in all of WoW and it wasn't even canon...mainly because Metzen is a weird creepy misogynist (one of the main reasons I actually mainly write Aggra/Jaina as a ship actually, because both deserve better and are, in theory, better than that bag of derivative Marvel obsessed dicks allows them to be) but anyway, it's just fascinating to me how the healthiest ship in WoW was axed, shut down, and denied despite how genuinely good it was. I could write essays on this, I *HAVE* written essays on this, but I'll spare you. First ship: Domon Kasshu/Chibodee Crockett (G Gundam) but also Meg Giry and Christine Daae (Phantom of the Opera) these were simultaneous, so honestly I had to put both.

Last Movie: it was this obscure random horror movie I found on Peacock called 'Wait Till Helen Comes' about a child ghost. I tend to since I've been unable to work stay up late making costume pieces and writing and pick random horror movies for background. It wasn't bad, honestly.

💙 OC x Canon Week - Bonus Day 💙

Remember how I said there was a Bonus Day for OC x Canon Week? I decided to use the bonus day's prompts for my favorite OC/Canon ship: Sebmin! 🩵💙💚

Here's a close-up on the faces! Look at how in love they are,,, 💖 I love giving them sun and moon motifs often ☀️🌙

The prompt I chose for them was "Costume/Cosplay," and I've wanted to draw Sebastian in Christine Daae's Masquerade dress for a long while, so I figured I'd draw them in Phantom of the Opera-inspired costumes!! 🎭

I'm honestly really proud of the details, especially with the expressions. For years, I've been trying to nail the expression I visualize Armin having when he's looking lovingly at Sebastian. I think I finally nailed it here, and it makes me really happy. 😊

Now that I'm finished for the moment with zine stuff, I'll be getting back to drawing and writing personal stuff, and maybe uploading more often! We shall see~ ❤️

Too bad I forgor to take pics of my own stuff (my goat book...) but yeah, joining an event that is not CF is a nice change of pace for me (and for us. My boothmates and I really enjoyed this event).

I think COCOMA's aim is to encourage us to make more books instead of merchandise (they prioritized letting in circles who had books), and it's working well for me. I feel motivated to make more books now. I honestly love making a book, because I feel like I'm also learning a lot in the process. So, me and my friend are planning a road trip to a hotel that has a Phantom of the Opera themed room in May.

It’s called Lions Gate Manor in Lava Hot Springs, Idaho.

We both cosplay Phantom and Christine and are looking to have a photoshoot done while staying at the hotel. The two of us are hoping to find a local photographer who can do the deed as we want these photos to be stellar.

If you or someone you know is a photographer in the lower right corner of Idaho and are available in May 2023 for a weekend photo op, please come my way. My friend and I would like to hire your services. You’ll be working with two cosplayers taking photos inside (and maybe outside) the hotel. Please be sure to included your prices and your references. 62. a book with a forgettable plot but amazing characters

i only recently finished thousand autumns by meng xi shi and i already don't remember the plot bc it was so convoluted haha, the characters however (one in particular) will stay with me for a long time😌

68. your favourite piece of classic literature

eugene onegin by alexander pushking and confusion by stefan zweig are on my top 5 books of all time. i also love the three musketeers, the hunchback of notre dame, crime and punishment and wuthering heights. but you've probably read all of these by now so for the sake of giving a rec here's one i love but think you're unlikely to be familiar with - the forest song by lesia ukrainka is a slavic folklore inspired play and it's about a forest nymph who falls in love with a mortal man

73. a good book with an awful cover

the covers of the first three nightrunner books are very 90s fantasy - an aesthetic i find atrocious lol. they probably initially wanted to market the series to a wider demographic but then realized that fantasy dudebros aren't their target audience anyways and so the covers of the later books got deliciously cheesy and you can tell at a glance that these are queer swashbuckler adventures (esp shards of time, love that cover. it looks like lestat and louis are cosplaying as jack sparrow and will turner)

74. your favourite love triangle

it's the phantom / christine daae / raoul. my preference in love triangles is when a woman has a choice between a boring but reliable man and a dramatic man who will make her life exciting but may or may not strangle her in her sleep later and she usually chooses the former giving the author an opportunity to didacticize and little unhinged fangirls an opportunity to write exciting but ooc aus where the heroine finds her happy ending with the bad boy. imo an ideal ending to poto would be - christine accepts her inner monsterfucker, chooses to stay with the phantom and they both perish dramatically as they have sex or sing or both and the opera house burns down with them inside. #gothic romance
