Haha ashwaghanda is my savior right now. I was really depressed and neurotic about everything and that made me even more depressed because I knew there was something wrong with me and just wanted to be normal. So I really hated myself.
But I’d tried ashwaghanda in the past but really needed something to help me. (Im not able to see a therapist because I don’t have much money) so I bought a different brand and it literally had changed my life. It’s also mixed with St John’s Wart, which is another herb and helps with depression. But it does interfere with medications so be careful if you take it.
I was afraid to start it because everyone says it can make you numb but it really didn’t for me. I feel more stable and more at peace I guess. Also you’re supposed to cycle it every 3 months or something. Lmao how I first noticed it was working was I noticed my handwriting got suddenly so much neater lol. Like in the past it was messy and illegible, so I was like hold up… why can I actually read what I’m writing. I think it was a reflection of my mental state. I actually understand myself now and in the past few months have genuinely started loving myself. It didn’t make my anxiety go away but I guess I’m able to realize that I can handle it now. So yeah haha my experience is pretty great so far!
thats amazing!!! when i first tried ashwagandha when i was 19-20, i had a really good time, i slept like a baby, i felt calm and generally more at ease etc
but i tried ash again last year and oh boy 😭😭😭
it made me suuuuper foggy and lethargic, i couldnt even stand up to get out of my bed sometimes bc it made me super out of energy,,
a common side effect of ash is anhedonia, which is described as the inability to feel pleasure and a lack of interest in life. i felt that,, its so interesting to me that you mentioned handwriting and how yours got neater because my journal entries from the time are soooo illegible, messy and looks like the textbook definition of someone whose cognitive capacities were impaired 💀💀🤐 it made me anxious asf, my heartbeat would be racing for no reason 💀💀my brain was sooo cloudy, id sit down on my bed and then 5 hours would pass by just like that and i wouldnt even know it 💀💀i felt very woozy, like my room was floating or smthng 😭
i was severely dissociated and extremely fatigued but i will admit that i did take too much of it 💀💀and i didnt cycle it 😭😭
i think different people react differently and its also impacted by our underlying state of mind and general condition i guess.
i did have a good experience with ash the first time around which is why i took it again last year, only to turn into a zombie cause of it lmao ,, it took me months to recover from it 😭😭
im really glad you had a positive experience bestie <333 its wonderful that ash did all that for you!! when it works, its truly incredible!!
to anybody thinking of taking herbal supplements, PLEASE exercise caution, take it in small quantities, do your research on its impact on any specific conditions you have etc

Switching to Herbal Tea: The Health Benefits You Need to Know
Did you know that over 158 million Americans drink herbal tea every week? That’s a staggering number! But why is everyone making the switch? In this article, we’ll explore the remarkable health benefits of herbal tea, from boosting your immune system to improving digestion and even promoting relaxation. Whether you're looking for a healthier alternative to sugary beverages or simply curious about the benefits of this ancient drink, you’ll find out why herbal tea might be the healthiest choice you can make.
Why Are So Many People Switching to Herbal Tea?
For many of us, coffee or sugary sodas are part of our daily routine. While they can help get us through the day, they come with some unpleasant side effects—caffeine jitters, energy crashes, and that dreaded sugar high followed by a crash that leaves you feeling drained. Over time, too much caffeine and sugar can even have long-term health consequences, increasing the risk of issues like diabetes and heart disease.
It’s no wonder more and more people are looking for healthier alternatives. Enter herbal tea—a flavorful, refreshing beverage that offers a wide range of health benefits without the drawbacks of caffeine or added sugar.
The Health Benefits of Herbal Tea
Herbal teas are more than just tasty drinks—they’re packed with nutrients that can improve your overall well-being. Each variety of herbal tea brings its own unique health benefits. Here’s a look at some of the most popular types of herbal teas and what they can do for you:
1. Antioxidant Powerhouses
Herbal teas like green tea and rooibos are rich in antioxidants. Antioxidants help protect your body’s cells from damage caused by free radicals, reducing the risk of chronic conditions such as heart disease and certain cancers. By neutralizing these harmful compounds, herbal teas can improve your overall health and longevity.
2. Boost Your Immune System
Feeling run down? Herbal teas like echinacea and elderberry are known for their immune-boosting properties. They contain natural anti-inflammatory and antiviral compounds that can help protect your body from colds, flu, and other infections. Regularly drinking these teas can help keep your immune system strong and ready to fight off illness.
3. Support Digestion
If you suffer from digestive issues, herbal teas like peppermint and ginger can be incredibly soothing. These teas have been used for centuries to aid digestion, relieve bloating, and ease an upset stomach. Ginger tea, in particular, is known for its ability to reduce nausea and support overall gut health.
4. Promote Relaxation and Better Sleep
Struggling with stress or insomnia? Chamomile and lavender teas are well-known for their calming effects. These herbal blends help to reduce anxiety and promote relaxation, making them the perfect choice for unwinding after a long day. If you have trouble falling asleep, a cup of chamomile tea before bed can work wonders.
5. Weight Management
Herbal teas like green tea and hibiscus can support weight loss efforts. Green tea, in particular, has been shown to boost metabolism and aid fat burning. Plus, since herbal teas are calorie-free, they’re a guilt-free way to stay hydrated and energized throughout the day.
6. Caffeine-Free Hydration
One of the best things about herbal teas is that they’re naturally caffeine-free. If you’re trying to cut down on your caffeine intake but still want a warm, comforting beverage, herbal tea is an excellent choice. You can enjoy it any time of day without worrying about sleep disruptions or jitters.
7. Improve Your Skin
Did you know that herbal teas can also benefit your skin? Teas rich in antioxidants, such as green tea and rooibos, help reduce inflammation and protect your skin from environmental damage. Drinking these teas regularly can contribute to clearer, healthier skin and may even help fight acne.
8. Support Heart Health
Herbal teas like hibiscus have been shown to lower blood pressure and reduce cholesterol levels. Incorporating these teas into your daily routine can support cardiovascular health and improve circulation, reducing the risk of heart-related issues over time.
Make the Switch to Herbal Tea
Whether you’re looking to boost your immune system, improve digestion, or simply relax after a busy day, herbal tea offers countless health benefits. It’s a delicious, natural solution that can enhance your well-being in many ways. By incorporating herbal tea into your daily routine, you’re making a simple yet powerful change that your body will thank you for.
If you’re new to herbal teas, start by trying different varieties to see which ones you like best. From calming chamomile to invigorating ginger, there’s a blend for every mood and need.

Have you and/or your partner ever been like,
"Yo for real, your cum is bitter as fuck, how much coffee you be drink'n?"
Well by golly do I have news for you, drink more water. Also these pills called Sugar Cum works great too. Say goodbye to making whisky face while taking a hot steamy load to the mouth.
Don't like pills you say? Well that's fine just drink more water and eat stuff like pineapple, acai berries, papaya, bananas, and idk what magic berries are but they sound fun. Go and eat that shit and make your partner say,
"Yummy yummy cummies in my tummies."
Don't have penis? That's okay it works great on vaginal secretions as well. Next time your partner goes down, they will not wanna come back up. 😏
In all seriousness though I have no idea if these pills are still made. If not, just eat healthy and drink lots of water.
Remember to please stay hydrated. Water is life.

Ginseng
Well, today was my first foray into the world of Ginseng/Ginko.
I'm three and a half months off the Adderall circle of dependence and honestly while I can see the benefits of not being on Adderall. I've been pretty low.
Like in bed for three days low.
Like panic attack trying to get out of the house low.
Like my office is months of clutter gross low.
About two pm I took two of the Ginko/Ginseng pills I ordered off of Amazon and
Wow.
Wow.
Wow.
Half my office is clean.
I hopped on a Dr's visit site and ordered anti-depressants. I set up a weight loss visit too.
I cleaned. I faced my phone. I paid bills. I filed things. Seriously.
And I don't feel jittery. I just feel ok.
Thank you God for this.

That is so disgusting, luckily I went to this site and they just seem to sell over priced lgbtqia+ gear and not any supplements. However this goes back to the herbal supplements in place of HRT stuff I posted. No supplements are not a good substitute, some can help but ultimately you need to ask your doctor and do your own research to make sure it would be safe and beneficial. I used to take Ashwagandha when I was pretending to be cis so I could... basically go farel on my partners. Also if you ever look for supplements online and they don't clearly show the ingredients on the label, do not buy them, it's a scam and those pills could cause serious harm or even death in some cases. Also don't take excessive amounts of laxatives to get a flat tummy, it'll damage your kidneys to the point of causing kidney stones and even kidney failure.
This site has been going around Twitter trans accounts quite a bit lately, so just pointing out here too that it'll do fuck all, they're exploiting trans people at a time when hrt is particularly hard to access and please don't give them your money

Saw palmetto Information | Mount Sinai - New York
Saw palmetto has anti-androgen effects, which can help with BPH. But it's also an ingredient in Nutrafol, a hair growth supplement. Instead of buying expensive Nutrafol, I want to just try saw palmetto alone for hair growth. I wonder if it can also help with hirsutism. I wanted to know if it interacts with other medications. It can interact with estrogen containing medications and interfere with iron absorption.

Informative post about Herbal Supplements and HRT
So a few people have asked me, how are your breast so big when you've only been on HRT for 9 months and I tell them I don't know I'm not a doctor. Really the reason I look cute af and my boob size is because before I started HRT I used to take herbal supplements for a few years. Would I recommend it, absolutely. Herbal supplements are relatively safe, as long as you don't have an allergic reaction. The one I took mostly was Pueraria Mirifica, it helped make my skin softer, hair softer, and I even increased in breast size.(they were little buds but still so cute.) Now is a herbal supplement like that a good replacement for real HRT, no. Not even close. Also be warned there are a lot of products out there that will try and take advantage of people and sell you high hopes. Don't buy into those ones. The 1000mg ones is all you need and I took 3 of those a day, although I'd recommend you only take 2. Also if you are on HRT already talk to a doctor first before starting any herbal supplements cuz you never know if it could interact with it in a negative way and if you have any adverse reactions to any supplement you need to not take it again and get an Uber to the closest medical facility.
