Hey Hephaestus, I'm sure you know about the various different depictions of you. Which one do you find most interesting, most wrong, and most odd? ||Basically what does he think off other fandoms' Hephaestuses?||

"Is something I haven't though before because it has not catch my attention until you mentioned it...but I can tell you about some depictions I found...

From God of War: I felt pity for him...pity and mixed feelings because it was almost what I lived in my world.

From Hades 2: I just saw the technical stream, and it was kinda interesting because this one was made to look husky and with more visible disabilities...I wish to look this depiction in full body format to give a more concrete opinion.

From Percy Jackson and The Olympians: I hasn't seen the series, so I can't give an opinion.

From Blood Of Zeus: I can say I like his humor sense and sassyness, I wish I could be like that."

Joking aside, there’s an actual reason Marvel has the Olympians as the Greek/Roman gods and The Eternals filling out the roles of some Greek and Roman gods; the reason is that when Jack Kirby created the Eternals they weren’t really meant to be part of Marvel Continuity, but then he left again and Marvel decided to integrate the Eternals and their lore into Marvel continuity, contradictions be damned

Admittedly I think it was a good idea, the Celestials add a lot to Marvel lore and the Eternals themselves have been used great in Marvel stories, but it does create some problems (namely why the fuck are there 2 Mercuries, 2 Zeuses, 2 Hephaestuses, 2 Athenas, etc)

this is well known but leo as a kid draws the argo ii and then eventually makes it in hoo. yet, on the drawing there is festus as the mast head despite leo never meeting festus as a kid. we can chalk this up to be an active imagination, however this is not the case when leo is specifically guided by gods to make this ship again in tlh. leo himself had forgotten about this, and yet it proves useful. anyway, we see this sort of foretelling again with leos intro in tlh. he makes a pipe cleaner helicopter the flies for a bit then falls down the canyon. when asked how he did it, he does not know. we know this to be hephaestus powers probably (?) despite none of the other kids showing this ability... yet leo sees a helicopter again at the end of tlh? he touches it and instantly knows how to fly somehow... and this helicopter also happens to crash land like the pipe cleaners. again a coincidence.... yet when it comes to leo there is never a coincidence!!!! all the people he meets are placed for him, everything that happens is manipulated and the gods push him around and coax him into ideas. so 🤔 here's the favorite thoughts: this prediction sort is a hephaestus power, or he's could be a legacy.

1. the hephaestus power... a lot of the times Leo makes stuff without thinking. it could be because there's no other hephaestus pov's but thinks click EXTREMELY easily for leo that is not seen in anyone else. in addition to his fire, perhaps leo is just a REALLY insane hephaestus kid 🤔 it's possible he could have cyclops or hephaestus blood already in him but i do not want to think about those connotations 😭 thus:

2. leo is a legacy. so my best bet is nemesis or apollo. nemesis works because, again, nothing that happens to leo is ever a coincidence! everything has a purpose and has carefully been placed by date, even from back with sammy.... the sheer coincidence of leo being related to sammy and them knowing hazel is nearly impossible!!!! it's too weird. most of leo's actions have some sort of payback whether he knows what it is or not... this can best be seen with that fortune cookie. I'm gonna pretend nemesis was like some granny giving a gift with that lol

next id argue apollo 🤔 this derives from the earlier power and leo's affinity with fire and fate. in moa, leo mentions to never have played an instrument yet in boo he can make one that stumps apollo? 🙄 anyway, apollo has a lot of creative aspects in his domain that could explain leo's insane ideas and extra-hephaestusness. i think this makes their dynamic in boo and toa very interesting. also it's funny if leo was a legacy of apollo when frank wanted to be one so much 😚👍 thank u for listening

Certainly, we can't all be cruel mothers of Hephaestuses.
