We will continue to live, we will continue to love, and we will continue to dream of a better tomorrow.

I am Noor, a mother of three children and a wife to a kind man who used to work as a math teacher before the war destroyed his school and deprived him of his job. We used to live in a beautiful home, but it was destroyed by bombing and war, and since then, we have been moving from place to place. Now, we live in a tent, with very little to sustain our lives.

My children are suffering greatly; my daughter Rajaa contracted hepatitis due to malnutrition, my eldest son Hussein can no longer go to school, and my baby boy Youssef needs milk, diapers, and clean drinking water. My husband Ashraf has been suffering from a shoulder injury since the beginning of the war and hasn’t been able to find new work.

Winter is approaching, and food prices keep rising. I am doing everything in my power to provide for my family’s needs. That’s why I launched a fundraising campaign. I know the world is full of kind-hearted people, and I am grateful to everyone who has helped me or even thought of helping.

I love my children and will do everything I can for them. Despite everything, I will not lose hope. I will continue to live, continue to love, and continue to dream of a better tomorrow.

Meet Cami

She decided to go with her friend, this summer to Kenya as a volunteer for 2 weeks to a shelter that provides care and support to 148 children from all ages.

The purpose of this trip, was to teach kids English, Spanish, draw, and pretty much to give them some fun.

While they were in Kenya, Cami realized all the needs this shelter has, so when they arrived to Mexico, this girls started a project to collect money and help; the project consits in finding sponsors, producing t-shirts and thermos to sell, with the objective of not only raising money for a good cause, but also to share their story and invite more people to be volunteers in this amazing experience.

In Cami’s experience, she said that it hasn’t been easy to start this project, or to raise the money, or to sell the products, but she says that it doesn’t matter because the best reward is when all the kids are thankful for what she does for them, and she is happy to help even with this obstacles. She will go again to Kenya the next summer.
