Y'all. I finally fucking got an apartment. It's only been 2 years of living with my mom, and I'll soon be free! They're renovating the entire complex and the previous tenant is leaving in September, so I don't get it until December, but I'm so fucking excited. I've been applying to so many places the past two years - things I can afford but are in the ghetto, things I can't afford but am willing to pretend I can - and it's finally worked out! Signed the lease and sent my deposit in today.

That being said, I did just drop like 3 grand on deposits.... Which was.. uh... all of my savings..
