' shall I ask one of the ladies' maids for assistance? ' she might have the strength to even do it herself, but her own dress is far too heavy to navigate the closeness they would need for a solid tie. Ending with the redhead standing next to Clary and struggling to breath, she doubted she would be able to dance with anyone if they were to ask.

HELLOOOOO heheeghe smiles so wide and evily. i have 2 this particular morning that are GETITNGMEEEEEEEJFJSNTJEKGNNE

the main one that i’ve been brainrotting as of late is the one i plan on posting once i finish hamartia,, but it’s tldr is that it’s like. a sad indie movie from the 2000s sort of vibe and also tide owns an aquarium. SHFNS basically will and vyncent have been working there forever as baristas inside the café there, and dakota decides to apply one day (more as a general aquarium worker though instead of food service) and a lot of shenanigans ensue and ashe + other pd characters play a big role in it ^__^ i can’t say too much about the plot but like the setting is really thought out and it’s based on the general utah area i live by because it’s very very pretty and i think there needs to be more literature set in utah(even if it’s lame podcast fanfiction). it also covers a lot more of the serious topics that pd shied away from and also is veeeery transgender but yeag ^__^ that’s all i can say about it rn

another one that’s been getting in my brain lately is a futuristic/cyberpunk -esque au. it’s mainly for the aesthetics cause i go crazy for that shit but im just thinking about dakota jumping from wires and bricks and strings of lights and leaping off trash and just fuckin. terrorizing the rooftops of this really cool city. in the end i think that william would be this underground vigilante/detective guy that heroes hate, and dakota would be a hero-in-training that tries to catch him to prove himself strong enough to be a Real Hero. vyncent is probably an older model of some sort of android (something built mainly for combat/work like the clockwork soldiers), and william found him on a mission way back and put him back together, and is now trying to Figure Him Out more. vyncent is trying to fight his faulty code, cause some parts of his “brain” see william as a friend, while others are screaming protocol at him to report will to the authorities and return to his station. ashe is probably in a similar situation to dakota, where she wants to be a hero but her dad stops her, so she just sneaks out one night and stumbles across whatever shit pd are getting into that time. idk i think adding an actual overarching plot to that owuld be so niceys but i need to think more about it

- theyre talking about what happened between william and mark over the 10 month timeskip: william contacted him at some point, not really about anything in particular, just to ask him if he knew anything about ashe that could help thsm find him/updating him on their progress finding ashe. then when they started playing again william stopped contacting him (for meta reasons, charlie just forgot that was an option BUT) bizly took note of that anyway and thats why mark was so hostile right off the bat. he just like. stopped hearing things from william and didnt know what was going on anymore. so when they showed up here and had no update on ashe whatsoever it just made him think they werent actually doing anything to find him

- grizzly: "man you would thing being in prison and losing his son would give this man some perspective and adjust his personality but he just became more of an asshole"

bizly: "no, the problem is youre not thinking about it from his perspective!! youre only thinking about it from dakotas point of view where hes a villain and hes doing bad things so hes bad. hes just a guy who thought he was doing what he had to do to keep his son safe"

charlie: "okay but he like locked his son up forever"

bizly: "yeah i never said he was a good person! and then some teenagers came along and made him rebel and now he wants to be a super hero and the first thing that happens is he gets possessed" << THANK YOUUUU BIZLY. THANK YOU BIZLY. JUSTICE FOR MY HORRIBLE MAN

- they keep referring to overlord as "alligator guy" because they forgot his name. charlie even at one point goes "yeah and he was a crocodile or whatever, dont you know those are power level 9" << this will never stop being funny to me

- "HEY WILLIAM what do you think about dying again"

- charlie is Very concerned about the no blood thing. his theory rn is that the archway he saw was like "crossing over" for ghosts. like fully passing on and not being ghosts anymore. seeing himself/his memories in the prison cells was very poetic, he kind of feels trapped by himself right now. hes the most curious about the 5 empty chairs and what that could possibly mean

- theyre trying to figure out who the group of 5 could possibly be. williams old group didnt have 5 people, prime defenders doesnt have 5 people even with ashe so they have no ideas right now and are excited to find out more :)

- "williams pretty fucked up right now to be honest!!! we just spent an episode and a half arguing about how we're allowed to kill the lich because its undead and not human. and then he learns hes fucking deteriorating. uh oh! now hes probabky thinking 'am i even a person?' i dont even know if he knows what to think about the spirit world right now i think hes just kind of panicked"

- "if only the ghost of party city were here, hed know what to say about this"

- "how is vyncent feeling right now?" "hes still kind of pissed. his one goal of killing the lich after all these years was just ripped away from him. hes accepted it for now but if that lich escapes. man hes gonna go nuts"

SUCH an insanely good episode dude hoooooly shit. head in hands. everybody say thank u bizlychannel!!!!! man. this was SO good man it really does feel like.... not a turning point, necessarily, but very important. honestly, really glad that by now they've had time to really like, sit with their characters & the world & let it all steep for a while? this season already really feels like such a tonal shift & kind of a step up frm season 1 so far!! (NOT that season 1 also wasn't really fucking good. but a lot of what we've got in s2 so far feels a lot more settled and cohesive) im here for it!!! LOVED the animatic that shit was crazy. if thats a precedent they're setting now im gonna go wild.

I ALSO THOUGHT THEY WERE GONNA MURDER THE LICH. i was like ohhhh great this is how we get the vigilante on the run arc its gonna be so bad theyre never gonna see tide again. phew!!!! i mean, i, too, still think the lich should be dead. but. also yeah WHAT DO YOU MEAAAN THATS A REAL THING HIS DAD DID. FUCKING CRAZY.

what else.. having so many thoughts about william's Situation . as always. man. it's so fucked up. i have no clue where any of it's going dude... the only thought i have is that i don't think. we have any real context for the five thrones thing yet. i don't think that's related to anything we already know except. mayyybe mal. i think that's some spirit world-specific bullshit! we'll see though. we'll see.

I totally forgot to post this on tumblr sorry about that, traveling takes a lot of time and walking and sweating and your phone dying lol.

Anyways, i’m still working on chapter five, i’m trying to make the chapters longer now soooo there’s a fat chance in won’t be ready by Thursday oops. But, i should be back home by the 15th and like a week later we have winter break in my country so yeah, that’s good for the schedule.

The nervous energy thrumming under his skin isn’t helping his headache. Leo forces himself to look as casual as he can when he’s in the same room as Raph. It doesn't help that he can’t stop thinking about last night. He knows it’s too much to hope that his brother forgot the whole thing or just won’t bring it up. He’s sure it must’ve been a sight to behold: Leo with his nose suddenly gushing blood while getting scolded by Raph at three a.m.

With an anchoring hand to the wall, Yuanzhi propels himself forward with a soft groan. Breath hitching when the motion pulls at the wound at his side. He feels shaky. Tenuous, like the slightest breeze would undo him completely.

Yuanzhi is bleeding out and he knows it.

Deliriously, he looks around him. Noting with a small frisson of panic that he’s about two rock sculptures too close to the West side of Jue residence, he slips a little trying to shuffle himself towards a different direction.

An almost incredulous laugh claws itself out of his throat raw. Even when he knows he isn’t welcomed here, he can’t help but instinctively seek his Gege out.

Pain burns through whatever senses Yuanzhi isn’t putting to making sure he isn’t actually spilling blood all over the ground. He needs to take a breath, keep himself calm. First order of business needs to be seeking out Elder Yue and hope he is in enough of a benevolent mood that he would actually help him without telling anybody.

Yuanzhi reckons he just needs a couple of days to rest and he’ll be right as rain. A couple of days to just check out of consciousness—

“What are you doing?”

Ah, fuck.

Through the haze in his vision, Yuanzhi picks out Gege’s silhouette coming closer. He takes a stumbling half step back to stay in the shadow. Gege stops.

Shit, Yuanzhi can’t let him get close.

“Good evening Ge, fancy meeting you here,” He manages. Throat clicking, he takes another dizzying step back. “I must… I must have taken a wrong turn. I’ll go now.”

Yuanzhi allows himself one quick look at his Gege. Dressed in his casual clothes, it looked like he’d just come from his study and Yuanzhi wonders if it’s the blood loss talking or if Gege is actually frowning at him with concern.

“Where have you been the whole day?”

Panic and adrenaline burns bright through the haze.

“Oh,” Yuanzhi slurs. “You know. A bit of trouble.”

Yuanzhi stumbles. Hand shooting out to stop his fall but in doing so, aggravates the wound enough that it has him whimpering and sucking in a rush of air.

The pain blacks him out for a moment because the next thing he knows, Shangjue gege is the only thing holding him up. “You’re hurt.” A note of danger sings loud in the syllables. “What happened?”

“You should see the other guy.” Yuanzhi chuckles weakly. “I had it handled.”

Shangjue gege’s frown lines deepen.

A wave of breathlessness rushes over him. Blinking, Yuanzhi leans into Shangjue’s arms. The world spins. It’s getting hard to focus. “Ge, I…”

“What happened,” Shangjue demands, voice low and a dark burn of danger.

At this point, Yuanzhi thinks the situation speaks for itself. Exhaling slowly, Yuanzhi fills his lungs with the comforting pine and ash scent of home on Gege.

As the darkness takes him, he thinks he manages to say, “I got stabbed.”

He cuts through the surface of consciousness in time to hear people shouting.

“—him better!”

Gege is shouting. Why is he shouting?

Dumbly, he lifts a hand up to grip at his sleeve. “Ge.”

Careful hands caress his cheeks. This feels nice, his mind coos. “Gege…”

“I’m here, I’m here. I'm not going anywhere” Soft kisses pepper over his brow and Yuanzhi sinks back into blissful oblivion with a vague sense that he's missing something here.

He wakes again to the sight of weak morning light illuminating the room. It's not his own room in the Zhi residence that he sleeps in only when Shangjue gege is away in the martial world. It's not even the room gege set aside for him in the Jue residence that he'd stopped sleeping in by the time he turned 16, nor is it gege's room that is also unofficially his.

Yuanzhi takes a deep breath.

There's a foggy veil that keeps him from being anchored. His thoughts slip through his fingers like eels; breaking apart the second he comes close enough to even examine what they could be.

"You're awake."

Gege's face swims into the periphery of his vision and he turns his head to meet him head on. "Ge, I--"

"Don't speak. Here." Shangjue gently lifts a bowl and begins to spoon-feed him some tonic. "Better?"

Yuanzhi nods, reaching over to grip his sleeve. "How long was I out?"

"About a day and a half. We found the corpses of the men who jumped you, by the way."

At this, Yuanzhi gives in to his childish instinct to scoff. "I didn't make it hard for you to."

Silence falls like the soft patters of the first snow. Shangjue takes Yuanzhi's hand and holds it in his own. "I smelled you. In the night air. I could smell that you'd been injured but I couldn't... When you backed away from me, I couldn't understand why you wouldn't trust me to help."

Shangjue swallows visibly.

"And when I saw all that blood... All I could think about was how our last proper conversation was an argument."

Yuanzhi closes his eyes and brings their hands to press against his cheek. It'd been a stupid argument, one of their very rare ones. Yuanzhi had accidentally worn one of Gege's hair ornaments to a meeting with the Elders and they had noticed. Gege had told him that they should start separating their belongings so that this wouldn't happen again.

He had gotten mad, stormed off, and then gotten stabbed.

"I am sorry," Yuanzhi offers. "I know you're right. I don't want to fight you on this anymore. I'll follow whatever arrangements you have."

Shangjue shakes his head, cupping his other cheek. "You don't understand. Didi, when I saw you wearing my hair ornaments all I could think of was how I want you to share everything I have. Not just the meals in my residence, not just my hair ornaments, not just my clothes. All I could think of was how I wanted you to take a share in the rest of my life, in every way, shape and form, and that scared me."

Yuanzhi gapes at this. Squeezing his hand tightly, he nods. Finally dawning on him the implications of that. There would be no space for anyone else in their lives. Every other lover would feel hollow and Gege would always be torn between what he needs to do for the family and what his heart wants.

"And so you pushed me away?"

"I shouldn't have."

"But you did."
