hiii i was curious what soren and qiu's dynamic is like in step one? first impressions/how they met, teasing/doting, that sort of stuff :3

(totally DIDNT stall answering this cause i was still figuring out their dynamic...)

Qiu and Soren are incredibly close in step 1. They're both very friendly and energetic, so they tend to bounce off each other with ideas. If one of them has a fun idea, the other will add an even more awesome one on top!

first impressions, they clicked instantly. matched each other's silliness. Soren walked up to that fort yelling "HELLOOOOO" at the top of his lungs, a very good first impression imo.

Soren and Andy would've gone into the woods together, but i'm thinking they got separated at one point; Soren finding Qiu's "hideout" and Andy getting jumpscared by Tamarack lmao.

Soren is a very adventurous kid, very reminiscent to a knight lol. Big jumping into opportunities and ideas without really thinking of the repercussions. Paired with Qiu, its over. they're like a tornado (a tornado that Mrs Murray makes sure to not get out of hand, which is easier said than done.)

that being said, Qiu and Soren also frequently tease each other! a lot of roughhousing and noogies (mostly from Qiu) very typical playful boy behavior! exaggerated pats on on the back, getting nudged, kicking to be annoying, etc. and also a lot of stupid jokes and also BIIIIGGGG bug interest w these 2. they out in the rain collecting worms and looking for beetles.

oh thats a lot. but i really enjoy talking abt soren, esp now that im writing up his step 2 teen drama LMAO would love to talk abt that

But that's not what the engagement debate was about! It was an anon who found it odd he wasn't wearing one in the pics taken today from Arkansas if he's engaged, and then I got confused bc in my culture (and apparently others, too), men do not wear engagement rings

It went in a whole direction it wasn't meant to bc I got confused because apparently there are a lot of different ways to do it hahahaha

Consensus was that he wouldn't necessarily be wearing a ring even if he was engaged because it depends on culture, sometimes religion, and preferences!

Hellooooo, Tumblr!!~ Today, I have decided to share with you; my new Hello Puppets OC!! So, why don't we get into it?

Meet Andy Adventure, the explorer and zoologist! He was a character thought up by the kiddo of one of the prop makers for Mortimer's Handeemen, who then made that character into a puppet! He was inevitably put into the show, and had an in-canon book series (which eventually got made into an ACTUAL book series, which was similar in format the The Magic Treehouse)

He's very egotistical, and a bit of a numbskull. He may be rather book smart, but he's not exactly the wittyest. He's also VERY competitive, but tends to want to back out at any sense of danger. He's a total wuss, honestly, but he tries to hide it, and does it mostly well. Also, his grandiose tales are insanely over-exaggerated 90% of the time. Despite all this, he's very kind-hearted, and rather swell to be around (if you can put up with his almost constant bragging)!

I haven't quite decided what he would be like in-game, but I like him, and I hope you guys do too!!

omg I lost my MIND the finale was soooooo good. I'm still marinating my thoughts honestly but the moment when noah asked emma why she didn't get into the pool and she said she didn't want to lose time.......AHHHHHH 🥺

I've always loved time travel media that explores how corruptive the desire to time travel actually is and that the irony is time travel is always a loss of time.

This show was so much about literally grieving lost time and hammering that home by having Sam and Violet be found unchanged from when they disappeared... The time is still lost for everyone! They're found but those 17 years are still gone and they never got to have them.

I'm curious about Baltasar and what that final scene between him and Luna meant. I feel like he isn't done with Parsaje and has bigger plans for what they found.

Honestly, I've never made a secret of the fact my favourite shows tend to be about grief and all the different ways grief affects and drive people and this is just a perfect show about grief and how no amount of time travel can heal loss.

I just loved it so much and I will watch william Jackson harper and Cristin Milioti in ANYTHING they're so talented and their chemistry is beautiful. The way they're both so good at saying the unsaid... Obsessed.

Idk if there's gonna be a season 2 but I feel like this is a more fleshed out version of the ideas Andy Siara explored in Palm Springs and I can't wait to see what he does next!
