Ive never asked someone for help finding a fic before but this one is driving me nuts - i cant believe i didnt bookmark it!

Stiles and Derek are friends and are speed dating? I think? But they basically just end up drinking wine together instead and it carries on from there. Thats all i remember. Does anyone have any ideas?

Stiles looks down, fiddling with his pen when the bell goes again and he’s startled when Derek sits down opposite him.

“Go sit at that empty seat over there,” Derek looks up and tells the guy whose chair he just rudely stole.

The guy looks down at Derek like he wants to argue but Derek stares him down (stares him up?) until the guy walks off muttering something about rules being there for a reason under his breath.

“What the hell are you doing?” Stiles says incredulously. “Where did you even get those?”

In the nine minutes they’ve been apart, Derek’s managed to acquire two wine glasses and an expensive looking bottle of red.

Derek pours them both a drink.

“This whole set up is awful,” Derek tells him pointedly, holding a glass out.

“No it’s not. You’re not making the best of it,” Stiles frowns but he takes the glass that Derek’s offering him regardless.

What? He’s rather into his red wine lately, he’s not about to cut off his nose to spite his Derek. His face. He means his face.

glad i'm not alone!! when his work hits, it hits SO well. but when it's a miss for me it's a real miss. for that reason i haven't really been paying attention to the promos or trailers or whatever, and am just kind of waiting to see what others have to say about it. i'm sure i will eventually give it a shot this month and when i do i WILL post about it so feel free to keep an eye out for my thoughts 👀

this is the first time i’ve done this because i share my spotify with the four year old so most of the time “hey hey owlette” or “tracey shake” or some other god awful children’s song is included and i’m like … meh

however. lala is having her FOB renaissance moment (i woke up this morning to her scream-singing “the phoenix” this morning), so i get to avoid the children’s songs for now.

(for the others: my class is obsessed with the rosemary song. lala also loves eye of the tiger and vivir mi vida. i am my own muse is her favorite, kintsugi kid is mine)

Last song listened to: uhhhhhh .... i haven't listened to music this morning yet because no one is awake and i am enjoying the silence so i don't know. it was fall out boy. it's been fall out boy for a solid two months now.

Currently reading: when in rome by sarah adams. i don't know why. i just finished the cheat sheet and it was terrible so lord knows why i didn't just return this one to the library without cracking it open because my hopes are not high but. what can you do.

Currently watching: 9-1-1. hockey (for another three games and then this season is dead to me, fuck the playoffs). baseball (this season is already dead to me but whatever)

Currently obsessed with: clearing out my knitting/crochet wip basket because i am not allowing myself to start anything else until i'm done with it. i have one leg warmer, one sock, and one sweater scarf to finish knitting, a crocheted blanket to finish, and one sweater to unravel. there's also a knit blanket that i have decided i'm never going to finish but am not emotionally ready to part with it yet so that is the one thing allowed to stay.

I need help!! I'm trying to find a fic that starts with Stiles in a car crash and Derek kisses him to distract him from the pain - the same author has another fic where it starts with him eating peanut butter cups on a stakeout and telling Derek about some theory about the length of school terms or something... I know this is vague but I can't find the author for some reason and my phone deleted my fic backup 😭😭😭 if anyone can help me out it would make me so freaking happy. Thank you thank you thank you

Is that photo of London on your profile taken from the top of the Tate Modern? I've always wondered.

i don't know if it's from the top exactly, but it's definitely from one of the balconies on the upper floors. i took it...oh man, almost a decade ago?? when i was last in london in july 2013. the tate modern is one of my favorite museums in the world and i love that view of the city from the other side of the thames.

also i'm just, way too lazy to change my headers on any of my social media sites 😂 i think i have this same photo as my header on twitter AND facebook
