There was a story called “twisted knives” in the lestappen community on AO3 that was unfinished and then it got deleted. 😭😭😭 it was this amazing piece of work, one of the best things I’ve read in this ship, an AU of Mr & Mrs Smith. Absolutely brilliant. Has anyone saved it by any chance? Please 😭😭😭

I haven't had many links to share in the last week or two because I've been reading from PDFs. The above link goes to an incredible LJ community, spnstoryfinders. It is, praise the fandom gods, still active after all these years. Admittedly it's quiet nowadays. As we know, much of fandom has moved on from that platform, so there aren't as many hands to help with every search, but it's still a wonderful resource, and every pair of dedicated eyes deserves thanks. 🙌

It's also heavily tagged (characters, pairings, themes, tropes, etc.), so even if you just wanted to go scrolling back through old searches to find fics to read, it'd be worth it.

But what I'm sharing today are the lists of deleted authors/journals/stories (there are two posts–don't miss the second one, linked in the first paragraph). Where available, the lists provide links to download the deleted fics.

Our fandom has lost a lot of fanfiction and fanart over the years, either by having it swept out from under us by platforms we trusted or deleted by the creators themselves. Having some of it recovered and shared like this is a bit like having a little treasure chest we can open any time we like. 🫶

Don't take it for granted, though. Save your favourites. Download the fics in your bookmarks. Back up your backups. Preserve yesterday and enjoy tomorrow. ✌️

I’m driving myself up the damn wall trying to find a specific fic that I was idiot enough to not bookmark when I had the chance.

Does anyone remember or have the ability to find a Dovesso fic that is also about Agatha and Beatrix in a sort of enemies to lovers way? I remember that it starts with Agatha or Beatrix saving the other from falling out of a window?

I fear that it’s been deleted but it was such a comfort work for me, if ANYONE has a clue how to find it I’ll be here tearing my own hair out, thanks.

Probably the most famous/notorious Hetalia fic, written by much beloved fandom writer George deValier, as part of a larger WW2 AU known collectively as the Veraverse due to being based around songs by Vera Lynn. The mysterious account deletion after years of inactivity probably only added to the mythos.  It was absolutely the kind of fic you'd find scattered references to in the most random corners of the internet back in the heyday of the Hetalia fandom, with all the dramatics you'd expect to follow.

Looking for a deleted fic/author

I've just discovered through my bookmarks that a fic on Wattpad that I love has been deleted. Just wondering if anyone could help me see if it's posted anywhere else or if the author has other works still up?It's been years, and I don't remember the plot really well, but I'll try.It's written by trilxqy and title is called 'More Than I Should.' it's a miraculous fanfiction with mature content, and it's enemies to lovers as well as friends with benefits, where Adrien tries to have a one night stand with Marinette, but she gives him a hard time, and there's this one time she forgot her book in class, and she had to share it with him, and they have to work on this project together, and there's this one scene where he saves her from the rain (I don't know from what), and she thinks he's only helping her because of his request, but he actually likes her.And that's about everything my two brain cells can master. I know it sounds dirty but I SWEAR the way it's written is so magicalDoes anyone recognise it? Please let me know; I was really hoping to read it again, and thank you for your time!

I'm looking for a deleted sterek fic where Stiles is an omega and his dad is super strict. He eventually ends up going to a regular high school and meets Derek. I remember a specific part in thr story where Derek's friends were shocked by the reason Stiles had to pack his own munch. It was because there was a fear that Alphas would try to drug him. I think it was by standinginanicedress, but I'm not sure.

Looking for two deleted eremin fics from ao3

FOUND! 1. Title is calling you, author is Rosalindax. eren survives the rumbling, and is locked away. no one knows he survives. the yeagerists are a problem, and Armin (the focus of the fic) is declared insane. historia is a big part of this, and has a child named Ymir that Armin gets along with. historia comes up with a plan against the yeagerists that involves using Armin as bait, and Mikasa helps Armin escape and fake his death. he goes with eren to a small village on the beach. Armin is partially paralyzed, the village gossips about them in the last chapter, before they leave the village to explore the world.

2. title is you are my sunshine, like the song I think. also by Rosalindax. Armin has hanahaki disease. eren tries to save him, and in another timeline he shows Armin, they get together but the hanahaki progresses much quicker. Ymir the goddess wants either Armin or Eren to give up the other, but they love each other too much and try to sacrifice themselves. Armin drinks eren's spinal fluid to live bc eren forces him to, and i forgot what happens after. tags I saved the bookmark with: Armin Arlert-centric, Armin Arlert/Eren Yeager-centric, Eren Yeager-centric, Time Travel, Dark, Trauma, Aftermath of Torture, Ocean, Beaches, Beach House, Song: You Are My Sunshine (Johnny Cash), Singing, Wordcount: Over 50.000, Wordcount: Over 10.000, Obsession, they're way too obsessed with each other, It's unhealthy

Please help! A gintama fic i loved is deleted (i think.)

as far as i rememberd, two weeks ago MAX i was still rereading it. unfortunately i dont remember the author or the title, but i swear i bookmarked it and not its not here. cant find it manually with tags either. If im not wrong it was three chapters long.

clues:

1. it was a noncon fic with gintoki and amantos

2. he was painting a guys shed as a job, and then painted the guys sons fence for a job.

3. the son then stalked him, called him multiple times, and then gintoki was captured

4. he was nonconned by amantos

5. after a few days he got out by maybe killing fhem

6. when he got back, otose convinved him to go to a hospital but he didnt want to.

7. the next day hijikata called bcs someone saw him escaping and killing the amantos. they meet later for gintoki to tell him stuff.

8. hijikata doesnt need his statement but wants gintoki to talk to a therapist atleast once

9. gintoki asks for hijikata to run him through the process because he was nervous.

this is all i can remember. if im not wrong, it was on a noncontober? or some sort of non con collection. im so desperate..

I just thought of another fic I hadn’t read in a while, it’s a fic where Pete is essentially homeless but eventually meets Gwen, but she ultimately dies and when he goes to her funeral (as Spiderman I believe), Hawkeye almost catches him. He starts getting mentored by the Chameleon at some point and eventually he explains everything to the Avengers and they take him in full time.

this one is a bit of an oddball so i was hesitant to post it until it was confirmed to be the right one.

im so happy to have found this blog!! i’ve been searching for this fic for months and im hoping someone can help😣 i read this around 2019-2020 not sure but i believe it had just been completed. from what i remember harry and draco are sent on assignment by dumbledore to go down the seven layers of hell, which had something to do with finding the horcruxes. each layer showed reflections of their weaknesses, memories and fear. the two of them go through each layer together and it’s one of the most emotional drarry fics ive read. i feel like this fic was relatively popular but ive searched so many masterlists and none have it💔
