it’s been a year i need a new intro post

hello!! im zaven!! (pronounced z-ahhh-vin)

i’m a 19 year old artist and college student going to school for graphic design (but i hate it and want to change to illustration soon)

i love severe weather, the adirondacks, tiny chihuahuas, famous last words (the band), and old man fashion. im making a webcomic but its been in development hell/hiatus for a bit. it’s called stray nightmare and it’s on webtoon. it’s about some gay ass dudes going through a quarter life crisis plus god trying to kill them for their property.

i also think i have more diet coke than water in my body

Spooky Season Announcement 👻🧛🏻‍♂️🩸

Hello everyone!!! With spooky season starting tomorrow, I wanted to do something a little special!

A while ago, I did mention that I had alternate ideas for how Sinned Awakening would turn out and maybe one day I’ll write how that universe would look.

You might be happy to learn that for the month of October, I’m going to be posting that reimagined version, all in Elvis’ perspective.

I have no idea how many parts this will be but at least it’ll be fun as Halloween is around the corner!

🫡 hi hello I managed to keep this to five sentences but also pretty sure it’s very quickly morphing into a smutty vampire one shot because I cannot resist 🧛🏻‍♂️

At the sound of a snarl Anakin rose in his cell, as much as his binders would allow, to await his rescue.

Durasteel shrieked in protest as the door was ripped away and Anakin was immediately flooded with relief and gratitude at the sight of his master before him with his signature sass; standing with his hands on his hips and his head cocked to the side with one arched eyebrow that clearly conveying they would be discussing the events that lead to his capture, later, at length.

But for all that the sight was familiar, it was also startling clear that Obi-Wan had changed since he emerged - alone - from the dark caverns he’d braved in search of the lost men of his battalion.

The fond amusement and snarky words of greeting and censure died on Obi-Wan’s lips, replaced by a wild snarl and the flash of fangs as his master whirled to grab the guard who rushed toward to cell with blaster in hand.

Anakin knew he probably shouldn’t have felt a pulse of arousal at the display of strength and the loss of Master Kenobi’s unshakable calm as the guard was thrown against the nearest wall, but he definitely shouldn’t have been almost dizzy with want and burning with need when Obi-Wan viciously sunk those inexplicably sharp teeth into the guards neck and let out the softest sigh as he crushed his throat.

I recently bought kingmaker but... I hated it. I suffered just to finish the prologue. 😭

The second opus looks "better", but I don't know if it's exactly like kingmaker ...?

I wonder if someone who hated Kingmaker could like Wrath of the Righteous? 🤔

IT IS ALWAYS OKAY!! I love to talk about the Pathfinder games also.

Regarding Pathfinder Kingmaker, I think the prologue is pretty slow. I admit I also sometimes push through it (I am replaying it now and I am in the prologue and wondering whyyyy). For me it starts picking up the moment I get my castle, but I always use toybox (or well, I think it has another name in Kingmaker) to make castle management easier.

I have to say the two games are pretty similar. Pathfinder Wrath starts with a lot more plot involvement, I think, but for me also it feels like the first two chapters of the game (ch1 and 2) feel a bit prologue-y.

I think if you hated Kingmaker because you get the kingdom you'll probably not like Wrath unless you get very taken by the plot. As someone who does not know the lore of Pathfinder, it took me more time to get curious about the Wrath plot. But it really picks up fast once you choose a path (end of chapter 2), and the plot is one of my favorite ones.

Do you remember what you didn't like about Kingmaker prologue? If it is how the plot seems very disconnected and impersonal, then maybe you might like Wrath more. But if it is more the mix of mechanics (map travelling, confusing lore/quests) then you might not enjoy Wrath!

I remember the polyamorous Regongar/Octavia/player relationship pushed me through EVERYTHING while I was playing Kingmaker :'D I love them. While I think Wrath has much more interesting plot elements and the mythic paths are amazing.
