There is a compilation on social media of photos and videos of Batman, Nightwing and (few times) Redhood carrying the 8-year-old Robin in their arms, because the little bird fell asleep in the middle of the patrol

a/n: I loved this request... but it was my first attempt at the aesthetic/vibe as a whole and I'm not sure if I hit the mark. I used this pic as my inspo. ):( Summary: What it's like for Ghost to have an "everything in pink, please." gf, and what kind of feelings go along with it. TW's: suggestive content 18+ ONLY, established relationship, possessiveness?, def not proofread (the usual), fem!reader.

Of all the women that Simon ever entertained the thought of being, one like you didn’t initially even present itself as a remotely interesting option. The idea of someone such much different from himself sounded like nothing less than a good way of fucking up someone else’s -otherwise- normal life by inserting himself into it. You just always seemed so damn happy and excited about even the smallest of things; Practically amplifying the good feelings floating around in the air and blasting them right back at him. Never without something pink on and dressed up like you were minutes away from attending some kind of fairy party literally scared Ghost away from having anything to do with you.

You on the other hand, weren’t exactly sure what it was that made Ghost so averse to speaking to you more than a few words at a time. Yet made it your very private little mission of sorts to snoop and poke around until you found some kind of answer as to why such a massive and expertly lethal man couldn’t bear to stand within arms reach of you. He just intrigued you for some reason or another. Only getting glimpses of the man’s real self in his eyes -the only visible part of him- and having to make your next moves based off of nothing more than gut-feelings and the hope that you were reading his signals correctly.

At first, it crossed your mind that your preferred aesthetic of sorts could be a bit of the problem. For most people it might appear a bit too much, and when looking at Ghost dressed almost head to to in black with a skull painted on his masked face… there was good reason to assume it in the first place. What you didn’t know was that it was so much deeper than your affinity for lace-trimmed socks, Mary Jane’s, pearls, and practically anything hyper-feminine and in a shade of pink. Ghost didn’t believe you were weak or predisposed to acting childish. You held a massively significant job in journalism and worked harder than most people he knew at what you did. You just happened to enjoy everything around you looking like some damn cotton-candy tea party.

What bothered him was your sweet personality and an intrinsic value he held for just how fucking innocent you were towards him and everyone else around you. People could be utterly horrible right to your face, and you’d silently keep the hurt to yourself and never fight back against what they’d done. Revenge wasn’t something you cared for, while it was essential to Ghost’s motivation in his work and private life. For a long time he couldn’t balance his morals of being involved with you at all with the thoughts in the back of his mind about how much he might twist and form you into something unrecognizable. Something a lot less… pink. A person that didn’t enjoy such small little things like how a skirt had small pink flowers embroidered on it, or if the little bows you’d stick in your hair had a lace fringe on the edges.

Oh but how things changed when Ghost finally couldn’t stand looking at you without thinking about how nice it would be to have his arm wrapped around you, pulling you tight up against him to keep everyone from staring. The Lieutenant always had a weak spot for you and your sugar-sweet personality and looks. But goddamn did he start loving the color pink more than a professional murderer should. All the hues and tones of that fucking color began reminding him of you no matter where he was, or what he was doing. For the longest time, he’d been worried that he would be the one that changed you, all the while he was too deep inside his own mind to recognize that you were the one controlling the direction things were headed.

Just looking at you made him shudder with feelings of possessiveness and adoration. Standing there happy as could be with thigh-high white socks and a fluffy pink skirt, all dressed up just to go out to eat at a little late-night pub because he couldn’t stand the idea of having to show his face in the bright daylight. You knew to a certain extent that Ghost appreciated the way you lived your life just a bit more feminine than average… but the depths of his thoughts and ideas about you were surface level to say the least. He just knew what you looked like clinging to his arm walking down the street; His polar opposite and yet so happy to be close to him. A darling smile… pretty and glossed lips… frilly things on almost every piece of clothing you wore and just utterly adorable to him.

Knowing that gave him… fantasies.

Wanting to see all of the things he could buy for you to wear for him. Dress you up almost like his own little doll and get to show you off to anyone who’d look, only to have the pleasure of threatening them to do more than take one good glance. So delectable, squeezable; but for him and him alone. You were the princess Simon didn’t realize he wanted and unlocked this strange and insatiable urge to spoil the fuck out of you with every pretty pink or glittery thing you could wish for, just so he could take you home and watch you try it all on for him while sipping a bourbon on the couch.

Fuck… There wasn’t a better way to spend an evening. Well, almost.

Perfect didn’t count unless he got to see you under him, laying back on pink silk sheets you’d been adamant about buying for his house, watching your eyes roll back with every moment he made. Damn if he couldn’t make it more than fifteen minutes without needing to calm himself down, before needing to put you on your hands and knees so those pretty little fucking faces you made wouldn’t make him finish before he got started. If he was lucky he could leave hot and pink handprints on your ass for making him feel so good. Simon knew you weren’t sheltered. But to him you were still innocent. Kind in so many ways he didn’t comprehend or believe was humanly possible. For fuck’s sake, you allowed him to come into your life.

Him with his scarred hands, bullet holes, shitty disposition. A man who preferred destruction and death for it’s permanence and certainty. Simon, with his need to hide his own face and go by a name that lacked humanity. All of him starkly contrasted you in so many ways it made him spin with confusion and oftentimes guilt. Questioning why he’d been so weak as to touch you in the first place. Allow himself the chance at someone so full of life who could see the world -literally- through rose-colored lenses.

Yet you brought forth happiness and fulfillment that the soldier hadn’t found in his years of searching desperately for a purpose. He found someone he could visually see, and palpably touch who hadn’t been torn down or beaten into submission in one way or another. Sweet and innocent you had found such a simple yet powerful way of living life the way you wanted to. Ghost felt like he could protect you. Not only in the genuine aspect of loving you so much that he got physically ill at the thought of losing you to anything; but also because you were so full of life and love to give to everyone around you. He needed you. Selfishly. Then again, there needed to be more softness and genuine innocence and happiness too. And so long as he was alive and breathing, he’d always make sure you were safe.

Ok, part 2 of my thoughts on the AP show.... now for the solids. Starting with the Hello Kitty re-release. I love this, it's adorable. I wish they did OTK of the knee socks, but c'est la vie. The OTT version is a lot, but it's cute. Neither is something I'd buy, but I do like that they exist.

I love the twin stars, but the twin stars dress looks like a Pullip dress made human size in a bad way. I think it's the organdy ruffles paired with the satin bows. I do like the candy like buttons on the bows, but I'd much rather see them make a milky planet style kiki and lala print than something like this personally. For so expensive a dress, it feels cheap. The Cinnamaroll dress is cute and well done, I like the design better and the hat is cute as well. It's still incredibly expensive though, and I personally would want either a really good print at this price point, or something more elegant.

This dress confuses me a little. The sleeves are huge and look like organdy, but the body of the dress looks more like an old school cotton piece. It also has a bunch of rhinestones. I kind of wish they had either gone full into "elegant" fabrics and tulle lace, or full old school with it. The middle ground is a little strange.

I like the white organdy dress with the twirling hearts. I wouldn't wear it personally, but it's well designed and the fabric is consistant. Even though it's an old school concept, it works well in the organdy.

Likewise the orandy dresses with the heart bodices are well designed, but not my taste. I don't love the heart bodice, much like a certain IW pie piece I reviewed years ago, it's one of those things that is hard to pull off IRL on a real human without it warping. I like how detailed this is, and it works well as an idol-inspired look.

This sax dress is a lot, and I don't love the sleeves, but it's a strong design and a nice looking dress. It's very doll-like, and it reminds me of a very early OTT dress of theirs. The pink dress is also a strong design, but the sleeves are also huge.

This mint dress harkens back to the Pink House influence of the past few years, but the high hem and A-line look makes it more child-like. I don't personally like the short A-line look in general, but I do think it's a strong design and I like the details. It doesn't look cheap, or like they cut corners even though I'm certain they faked the layers, and that is an acomplishment IMHO. The sax.. apron skirt? JSK? Looks like it could have been plucked from the 2007 collection. The school style elements are cute, and the detauls are nice. I think it's a strong design and while it's also not me, I think it's well done.

I like this design of this buttercream colored dress, I like that it looks like a cake, but up close I hate the fabric / lace. I love her hat too. The pink dress looks like a take on princess in love... I didn't like princess in love and I don't like this. The bows stuck on randomly aren't my vibe, the front corset lacing doesn't elevate it and the sleeves / sleeve lace is not great. It's multiple shades of pink in a bad way and just generally feels like a weaker design than princess in love.

This on the left is great. 10/10. no notes. I'd probably not like all of the fabrics / lace up close, but from a distance it's a great big pile of ruffles and bows in a nice arrangement and the sleeves are fun. The dress on the right has a kind of big ruffle on the bodice that I don't love and the blouse? sleeves? are a little weird being lace, but the skirt design is great. I don't adore the all pink OTT line, it feels a little like a cop-out given how much pink AP makes, but it is very on brand.

The dress on the left is my least favorite of the solids. It's bad. The bow? fantastic. The dress... reminds me of an off brand barbie princess dress, it's just, it's not good. I hate the all over lace fabric they use and it's got a lot of that. The bows in the middle blob all together (at least I think it's bows?). The corset lacing gets lost in the lace, and the cape... thing? is not working. It's visually mushy in a bad way. The dress on the right looks like another attempt to remake princess in love or fantasy princess. I don't like the mixed warm and cool pink. I hate the sleeve with the front corset lacing. Either that sleeve or the corset lacing, but not both. The bodice doesn't fit the model which is hurting the dress as well. The skirt is too small for the bodice. That said, I like the tiered skirt design with the bows, I just want the pinks to either be closer or be intentional in their lack of matching. The hat is cute, and the bag I love. I like the socks too honestly.

The scale feels off for the one on the left. I want the skirt to go under her knee with the bodice style. the bows at the hem and on the bodice being satin also feels cheap. I feel like this could be a really good design but it feels just a little cheap / costume-y The dress on the right works so much better with the longer length. I kind of wish it had different sleeves, the top of these sleeves is boring? but overall it's a stonger piece just because the length and the fabric choices flow better. I feel like these two pieces could have been combined into one good dress. They each have half of the good ideas.

Lastly, these two very OTT pieces. Is the white one a re-release? It looks vauegly familiar but it's 3am. I like this. it's very AP does lolita wedding with the tiers and the pearls and the rhinestones, and while I'm not a bows-on-bows girl, I think if someone was this would be a very cute wedding gown.

I hate the lace gloves the pink one has with it, I'm sorry. I just really don't like AP's lace fabric choices at all. This is a me problem XD Hidding those though, this is a great OTT pink dot tulle princess dress. I really like this. I don't think I'd ever wear it, but it's so barbie princess in the best way and it's well balanced. Not into the floppy bonnet, but if one liked floppy bonnets, I suppose it's an OK floppy bonnet. Weird choice for this dress though.

The bustling arcade was filled with bright neon lights, lively sounds of game machines and clinking tokens. Rows of arcade games lined the room, each one with its own set of flashing screens and joysticks. Hand in hand, you walked around with your boyfriend Niki. Niki’s big, soft hands provided a comforting warmth as they enveloped yours. His thumb traced gentle patterns on your fingers and palms.

The scent of popcorn and the sweet aroma of cotton candy flowed through the air from the snack counter. The ambiance was electric, with the combined sounds of electronic music and game effects creating a euphoric atmosphere. “What do you want to do first?” Niki asked."Uhh... I'm not sure. Where's the rest of your group? I could've sworn Jake was just behind us," you chuckled. Niki shook his head, his warm smile accompanying his response, "Nah. All six of them already went off doing their own thing."

You scanned the arcade looking for a fun game, but something far more intriguing caught your eye. "NIKI." Your grip on his hand tightened as your body tensed with excitement. Niki gave you a puzzled look, trying to find whatever you were so interested in.

"Hello Kitty Claw Machine!" you exclaimed, pulling Niki and running towards the claw machine. You pressed your palms against the glass of the machine, staring at all the cute plushies. The one that mainly caught your eye was the My Melody plush. It was in a cute bear costume, an adorable light baby pink color.

"Darling, you have a lot of plushies at home," Niki tried his best to persuade you. You turned your head and dangerously glared at him. "Yeah, but I don't have a My Melody, and I really want it!" you whined with an adorable pout that Niki couldn't resist. "I know how worked up you get with these machines," Niki said, trying to reason with you.

“Not even!” you argued back, determined to try your luck. The memory of you raging on a claw machine played in your head, and you let out a small giggle at the recollection. With a grin, Niki finally gave in, “Alright, let’s go for it. But don’t say I didn’t warn you about the claw’s tricks.” The excitement on your face intensified as you eagerly inserted tokens into the machine.

As the claw descended, you held your breath, eyes fixed on the My Melody plush. The claw closed around it, but just as it began to lift, the plush slipped from its grasp and tumbled back into the pile. Disappointment washed over your face as you sighed, realizing that this time, the claw machine had outsmarted you. “See, it's rigged,” Niki said leaning against the glass. “Okay wait. Give me more tokens, now I’m determined.” you said in a serious tone, your eyes glued to the pink melody plush.

Undeterred, you decided to give it another shot. With renewed determination, you inserted more tokens and focused on the claw's descent. Each attempt seemed promising, but the elusive My Melody plush slipped through the claw's grasp every time. Your frustration grew, but you couldn't resist the challenge.

"Maybe it's just bad luck today," Niki suggested, trying to ease the disappointment. Ignoring the odds, you insisted on trying two more times, but the result remained the same – the plush danced just out of reach, mocking your attempts.

You sighed, staring at the melody plush. You thought Niki would say, “I told you it’s rigged .” but surprisingly, he didn’t. You looked up at him through your lashes. Your sad face was so gentle and cute, it made his heart ache.

Niki rolled up his sleeves and theatrically cracked his knuckles. “What are you doing..?” you asked. “I’m getting you My Melody, sweetheart.” he smiled at you. As Niki extended his arm into the claw machine, you couldn't help but burst into laughter at the sheer absurdity of the situation. "Niki, are you …are you sure about this?" you managed to say through fits of laughter. Undeterred, he replied with a grin, "I got this. My Melody is not escaping me." With careful precision, Niki maneuvered his arm among the plushies, reaching for the coveted My Melody. “I got it!” he exclaimed. You and Niki both bubbled with laughter. “LOVE, LOVE , MY ARM IS STUCK.” Niki cackled.

You kneeled down and helped Niki remove his arm from the machine. Both of you were filled with joy and laughter. As you helped Niki, you heard familiar voices behind you. "What are y'all doing?!" Jake erupted with laughter. It was Jake, Sunghoon, and Jay. You and Niki were laughing so hard you couldn’t even make up words. You helped Niki gently pull his arm out, ensuring he didn't get hurt.

Thankfully, the arcade mishap hadn't caused any harm, and as Niki extracted his arm, he revealed a small pink My Melody plush in his hand, just for you. Niki’s smile widened as he placed it in your hand. “YAY!” you exclaimed, unable to contain your excitement. In a spontaneous burst of joy, you jumped on him, causing both of you to tumble onto the floor.

As you and Niki lay on the arcade floor, still giggling, Jake made sure to capture a picture of yall’s cute moment. This was something you’d remember forever.
