Hello there! I am alive!

Health issues kicked my butt last year, hence my not updating (or continuing) this challenge in a really disappointingly long time. But, the fog seems to be clearing, and I am once again able to focus on things I enjoy, so I am very happy to get back into this.

Entries 7 - 10 of my Star Wars Legends challenge are Dawn of the Jedi: Force Storm issues #2 - 5, written by John Ostrander and art by Jan Duursema, Dan Parsons, and Wes Dzioba. All four issues take place in 25,793 BBY, and were released in 2012.

Thoughts and images beneath the cut so as not to flood your feed.

Issue #2 introduces (who I assume will be) our main cast of characters from here on out - Shae Koda, Tasha Ryo, and Sek'nos Rath, all three Je'daii Journeyers from Tython.

Is it just me or do all three of them have maaaaaajor OT3 energy. I desperately need to see the three of them… er, kriff. And as I am assuming this is not going to happen on page, I WILL be turning to AO3 when I am done reading this series and y'all had better not let me down.

Willing to extend that to OT4 and let Xesh in on the kriffing as well.

Aaaaaaanyway.

Sexual tension between Shae, Tasha, and Sek'nos is palpable. All three having a tense force vision about a mysterious, dangerous bad boy dark force user? I am restraining myself from looking on Ao3 until I've finished reading this arc to avoid spoilers, but y'all I am going to be so kriffing mad if you disappoint me on the fic front. PLEASE tell me there is fic here. I DON'T want to be the one who has to write it.

For the most part, I am engaged with the three (four if you count Xesh) main characters. Their dynamic is engaging (yes, beyond just sexy lmao) and each of them are interesting on their own as well. I am looking forward to seeing them continue to develop over the course of the series.

Then, let's see. Things that annoyed me...

Boob armor is always annoying. Jedi Emma Frost has some incredible shoulder armor but the boob top is sigh. She must be using the Force to keep her titties from shooting out the gaping hole in her shirt. Like. I love good cleavage as much as the next bisexual, but c'mon, man.

On the other end for costumes that make me happy, I'm in love with Tasha's look. It is one of the few not over-the-top sexualized twi'lek costumes I can think of, and that is a breath of fresh air on top of just being a really cool skirt that I would absolutely wear.

I think that's it for now. Hope to read more of the series this week and will continue to update as I go! I might start posting reactions as I read here? Not sure yet. Sometimes it can be fun but sometimes it can distract from the actual reading xD

“I’m gonna marry her one day.”

That little black velvet box was taunting him.

You had just left for work when he decided to give the simple, yet elegant piece of jewelry another glance. He kept it hidden in a small lockbox he still had from when he was in the service, knowing you would probably never look there. Secretly, it’s where he stored anything of sentimental value in. From one of the first little love letters you’d given him, to a movie ticket from your first official date, even a couple of cheeky Polaroids you took for him as a birthday surprise a few months back.

You had been in a relationship for well over two years now. Having made the step of finally moving in together about six months prior, Frankie could honestly say it’s the happiest he’d ever been. He had the obvious approval of the guys, his family adored you, even the señoras at the floral shop he liked to frequent when he wanted to surprise you with a fresh bouquet would ask when he was going to finally pop the question. He knew it shouldn’t have come off as such a challenge, but like everything else he was, in typical Frankie fashion, overthinking it.

“How am I going to do this?” Frankie sighed, running his finger over the precious stone. His phone buzzing on the nightstand pulled him from his thoughts.

“Hello?”

“Hola feo! Hey, we’re at the store right now picking up pumpkins for tomorrow and found these cool stencils to use. Can I buy them or is that considered cheating? You know Ben could use as much help as possible.”

“I’m going to beat your girl in the contest this year Frank!” Benny screams in the background.

“Go ahead and get them. You know he’ll still find a way to fuck it up.”

“Fuck you Fish!”

He laughs at the other man’s competitive nature. You had won the Halloween carving contest two years running now. There wasn’t any big prize involved, but bragging rights and pick of the scary movie you all would be watching that night was incentive enough. (Benny thinks it’s because you’re Frankie’s girl that gives you the advantage. In actuality, he just sucks.) He stares back to the ring as Santiago goes on about the prices of Halloween candy when his eyes go wide.

“Pope! Change of plans! I need you guys to help me with something!”

The next day Frankie is doing his best to keep cool. He’s kept himself busy by cleaning up the house, making sure the little ghost lights you found are strung up around the patio perfectly, even bringing out the couple of plastic tables you would be using and setting them up with assorted carving tools and paints.

Honestly, anything to keep from having to face you for too long, he was doing.

Frankie knew he had some time so he quietly went through his plan one last time. You, on the other hand, were busy picking out the perfect design for your pumpkin. You told him it’s not about winning, but thinking back to the little smirk on your face when you were announced as the winner again last year and Benny smashing his pumpkin in a humorous protest was enough to have you wanting that first place spot again.

“Babe! Where you at?”

“Outside hermosa!”

You step out to the back patio and gasp at the setup.

“Frankie! This looks so good!” you praise as you run up and give him a quick peck.

“You like it?! It was a bitch untangling those ghosts so it better look good.”

“Ugh, handsome and he knows how to string up lights? You’re gonna fuck around and get yourself wifed up Morales.” He stiffened momentarily by your choice of words before shaking his head and cracking a smile.

“Oh! Help me pick out a picture for my pumpkin!” you pull out your phone and enthusiastically start swiping through the selected photos. “Should I do the witch flying on a broom, or this werewolf howling at the moon?”

“Should you even be showing me your design? We are competing against each other too cariño.”

“Are we though?” your left eyebrow arching in question.

“Wow, that hurt.” his faux wounded expression making you giggle.

“Hmmmm, they’re both great options but do you think you can finish something that elaborate tonight babe? It’s timed too, remember.” He knew you could, but the longer he could distract you later, the better.

“Is that a challenge?!” narrowing your eyes at him and he throws his hands up in surrender.

“I mean, I know you got it in you, but Benny said he’s bringing his A-game tonight, and to watch your ass. I just don’t want you getting too caught up and you don’t finish.”

“Ohhhh, just you wait precioso! I’m not back to back champ for nothing!”

With that final say you run out to finish getting ready, leaving Frankie standing there with a huge grin plastered on his face.

Yeah, she’s the one.

The sun had finally begun to set as you and the boys gathered in the backyard. While you were busy helping Will gather the pumpkins from the house to bring out, Santi and Benny found it to be the perfect opportunity to pull Frankie aside to see how he was doing.

“You ready hermano?” Santi whispered, grabbing him by his shoulders.

“You look like you might yak Fish.”

“Don’t listen to him, you look great! This flannel is nice. Going for the lumberjack look I see.”

“Cállate pendejo. She happens to like it.” Frankie retorts.

“We’re just giving you shit, you know that.”

“I know. I’m just a little nervous.” Frankie mutters as he looks over Pope’s shoulder to make sure you’re still in the house.

“No need. That girl in there loves you. So much so, it’s almost sickening how cute y’all are.”

“Yeah man! And feisty as hell, which is why I love messing with her.” Benny snickers to the group.

“Thanks guys. I owe you one.”

“No problem. Just remember, I call dibs on best man. Ben said he wants flower girl.” Santi throws his thumb back to Benny, nodding in confirmation.

“Deal.”

“Okay, y’all know the rules. We’ve all got an hour to carve, paint, whatever you wanna do to your pumpkin and then we’ll vote. No peeking at other pumpkins until we’re all done. Benny, no smashing your pumpkin when you lose. Sweetheart, take it easy on us this year okay?”

“Can’t promise you anything boys. Good luck hermoso.” shooting a wink toward Frankie who’s seated at the opposite end of the table.

Frankie opts for painting his pumpkin this year. His design wouldn’t necessitate the full hour so he tries to drag it out as slowly as possible.

He grows more anxious by the minute. What if she says no? That’s always a possibility, right? The hour suddenly seems to be passing by too quickly for his liking when he decides to look over. You’re caught up cracking jokes with his brothers, your small pocketknife in your hand for hollowing out smaller sections of your design, and singing along to the Halloween playlist blaring from the speaker. He’s never felt more right about anything.

Will looks to Frankie as the timer is about to go off on his phone. A quick nod and crooked smile signal he’s ready.

“Okay and time!”

The other guys both look up to Frankie with knowing grins on their faces. A small thumbs up from Santi thrown in for good measure.

“Wait! Just let me get this last piece!”

“This is why she wins because she’s still working after the time!”

“I told you it would be too much babe.”

“Hush Morales!”

“Alright, since I’m the oldest, I’m going first.”

Everyone’s attention is now on Will as he turns his pumpkin around. He usually puts up a good fight as well when it comes to this which is why you’re thrown off when you see his final product.

“Will. You carved your name into your pumpkin?”

You were clueless.

“It’s classic.” giving a small shrug. “Pope.”

Santi claps his hands together and quickly turns his pumpkin. A delicate You carved into it.

“You. Guys what’s going on?”

Frankie couldn’t help his shit eating grin as he sees the visible confusion on your face.

“That’s a nice looking you, Santiago.”

“Why thank you Benjamin. You’re up.”

Alright, your main competition. You hadn’t caught on to what the others were doing but if anyone would give you a run for your money, it was Benny.

“Get ready to have your mind blown sweetheart!” turning his pumpkin to display a brightly colored Marry sprawled across the front. Then it clicks.

“Marry. Fra…”

Before you could get his name out you gaze to your left to see your boyfriend turning his pumpkin. The word Me painted in your favorite color with a question mark and cutely drawn ring that glittered for effect.

Frankie’s heart was pounding as he steps from around his side of the table. Setting his pumpkin down gently beside yours, he pulls the box from his back pocket as he gets down on one knee. Your watery smile like a breath of fresh air telling him to go ahead.

“Hermosa, these last few years have been everything to me. You are everything to me. You know I’m not good with words…”

“You’re doing fine mi amor.” bringing one of your hands up running it over his cheek.

“…but would you, will you marry me?”

“Yes Francisco!” Those words instantaneous as he released a breath he didn’t know he was holding.

He places the ring on your finger before you practically tackle him to the ground. The others whistling and cheering from the table behind you.

“You’re gonna wife me up, huh Morales?”

“I had to before I ended up the wifey.” Your boisterous laughter couldn’t be contained. Your smile shining the brightest he’d ever seen it. He couldn’t wait to continue making you do that for the rest of his life.

“Well, I say I won this years contest boys!” Benny exclaims.

“What are you talking about?! If anything Fish won!”

“Did you see how she was speechless at my pumpkin?!”

“Wait, what did you end up going with?” Frankie queries.

“The werewolf. It fit perfectly with An American Werewolf In Paris that I had picked to watch.”

Benny turned your pumpkin around to show the rest of the guys. An audible groan leaving his mouth when he sees the detail you were able to put in, even in such a small amount of time.

“I’m never gonna win this contest again.”

“Hey Ben, your pumpkin was amazing. And since I’m in such a fantastic mood, I relinquish my award to you.”

“OH HELL YES! WE’RE WATCHING MONSTERS INC!”

“Benny that’s a child’s film what the fuck?!” You hear him and Santi bicker as they rush inside to get the film queued up. Will hot on their heels to give you two a minute.

“You sure you wanna sit through that?”

“Let him have it,” leaning in closer to his ear.

“I get my real prize after they’re all gone.”

When you didn't want to go for the injection at first, he didn't say anything. It was your choice and you could do whatever you wanted. Yami didn't go for the vaccine initially either. He was just too lazy to be bothered.

When it became compulsory for you to have the shot taken, Dr Owen came to the black bulls base and helped everyone take their shots. (well because Yami was lazy so,)

You tried to hide from it until Yami came looking for you. "Babe, it's your turn now."

Yami sensed your fearful ki. "Baby, are you scared? It's not that painful y'know?"

He accompanied you down to the room where Dr Owen was waiting and sat with you while Dr Owen administered the vaccine.

You fainted at the sight of the needle coming near you and Yami caught you immediately.

Poor Dr Owen and Yami panicked a little, wondering if you were unwell or anything. But Dr Owen checked you and you were all fine so they deduced that you were just that afraid of needles. Dr Owen quickly gave you the shot while you were still unconscious, both of them agreeing it was better this way.

When you woke up, you talked to Yami about your fear of needles. Just talking about it is difficult for you; you started shaking a little and Yami had to pull you in for an embrace as he stroked your back to calm you down.

The time for the second dosage still came but Yami helped you along. He put you on his lap and make you close your eyes. He whispered some dirty jokes in your ears just before Dr Owen gave you the jab.

Well, it was embarrassing to you but your man does not know any embarrassment so as long as it distracted you, it was good enough. You didn't faint but your face was pale. Yami thought it was a good improvement. Of course you smacked him later when you were better.

You kept refusing to go for your vaccine so your boyfriend had to talk to you about this one day.

"Honey, why are you running away from the vaccine? Would you like to share with me your troubles?"

His brow was raised and you could see the slight creases on his forehead, his lavender orbs looking at you so affectionately and tenderly. His arm on the small of your back, giving it small, gentle strokes.

Of course you gave in to this charming man. You told him about your fear of injections as he listened patiently. He promised to accompany you to it but you had to take the vaccine for your own safety.

Only after you fainted as you saw the needle Fuego realised how bad your fear was. He carried you in his arms as you took the vaccine and brought you out for some fresh air until you woke up.

Man spent fortunes on researching on whether there was another way to administer the vaccine without you taking injections. He even opened a research facility centre under your name.

But when it was time for you to take your second dose of vaccine, they still could not find other means of having the vaccine done without injections.

So instead, he asked for the shot to be done at home and he had you lay down instead of sitting down. Before everything, he told you repeatedly that you could do it, he kept instilling positive thoughts into you.

He told you to close your eyes and talk to him. He told you to focus on breathing as he asked your questions that require you to focus and think.

"About the mission the other day, did you happen to ask the store owners whether they saw any strange sightings?" "What did they say about the missing items?"

Nozel Silva

Man handed you a stress ball when you straight up told him you were scared of needles. You internally facepalmed and got prepared to meet your doom.

Nozel saw that you were nervous but he thought you were gonna be okay. The moment he saw you faint, he quickly came up to catch you with his mercury magic.

He carried you all the way back to your shared room and got the nurses to check on you. After confirming you were okay. He allowed the doctor to give you your vaccine.

"I'm so sorry, love." he said softly when you were awake. Man sat there in the room and waited the entire afternoon for you to wake up, thinking about how stupid he was.

You told him you did not want to get your second shot done and that you were really terrified.

The next time it was time for your vaccine, Nozel arranged for it to be outdoors where you could have fresh air and the tension and stress level is not that high.

He bought you your fave ice cream and made sure you were in high spirits. He then told you that Owen is here and he's gonna take your vaccine.

You didn't even have time to panic as he had already cleaned your hand with alcohol wipes without you noticing and Dr Owen just had to inject you swiftly.

You didn't even have time to see the needle, Dr Owen concealed himself well and he only appeared at the moment he was to inject you.

"It's not that bad, right?" He stroked your head with a smile as he placed a kiss to your forehead.

a/n: this was something i started way back in 2017 when i was 15 lol and i tried going back to it and finishing but i just can’t seem to continue it!! but i don’t want it to just sit in my drafts so i’m just going to post the unfinished wip! i might do this with a lot of wips i’ve had collecting dust over the years (and they’re like 99% svt lol); if i ever do find some stroke of inspo to finish it i might but for now enjoy the 1900 words i wrote when i was a sophomore

“But babe, you’ll sit on my side, right?” Soonyoung continued to pester you with countless little questions to which he knew the exact answers to.

You pursed your lips at your boyfriend; mild sorrow and guilt clouded your eyes. In return he pout your favorite pair of plush pillows to kiss, with dull bleakness and dismals fogging his irises. It was hard, really, to resist the pull of a magnet, who was trying every trick in the book to coerce you to sit on his school’s side of the bleachers for the upcoming basketball game on Friday.

Had it been that both of you were just your run-of-the-mill university couple, tachycardia would’ve caused you to blurt out “yes” instantaneously just by being gazed upon by Soonyoung, but alas, the big guy upstairs made it to be so that you technically couldn’t through the rulebook of the sibling code.

A flushed palm extended to your denim-covered thighs, with the utmost desire lacing his fingers.

“Pretty please? With a cherry on top?” His digits creeped towards your inner thigh, getting closer to the actual cherry he wanted on top.

“Soonyoung, no matter how well you do me, I’m still obligated to sit on my side of the bleachers.”

None of Soonyoung’s coercions could persuade you to decide about where to sit. You really would’ve preferred to sit on his side, but with your current situation, none of that was possible. It was a precarious oscillation between blood and water, and neither did you want to drown in with regret for embracing one over another.

“Fine. If you can’t cheer me on–which is a pitiful shame–let me take you out to eat after the game. And we can make out in my car or something so he won’t have to know.” Soonyoung’s gaze no longer held flashes of fervor, but rather a decadent gleam of sheer admiration.

“It’s a done deal, but you better promise me to dunk on him, or be prepared to get dunked on by him. As of right now, however, you owe me some kisses for making me wobble continuously back and forth between your side and his before I go,” you taunted, “come here you little rascal.”

Soonyoung gleamed at you piercingly, yielding you to lean forward against him as a shock of joy sparked up your back. His hand feathered along the back of your thigh, brushing it so longingly, with a tinge of impertinence here and there. You could feel the urgency radiating from him as he struggled to press you even closer to him, as there were no more gaps to be filled. He grasped your chin gingerly, before connecting his lips with yours, wanting to revel in dire coalescence he’d been awaiting upon your arrival.

Soonyoung is the warm bath you dip yourself into after constant exhaustion, the meager yet compelling and needed breeze as the sun beats down you, the red mark that’s actually relieving and boasts “A+” on a hard worked assignment, the last basket shot as the clock dashes away with the snickering seconds, and he is what has you torn on where your loyalty stands, but you can’t thank him enough for that strife.

You pulled away first because getting you two to separate would be a long ass haul, and maybe it was also getting late, just maybe. Your eyes glimpsed at the badgering hands that indicated 11:35 PM, and nothing but a sullen sigh managed to escape your lips.

It wasn’t fair, how time sashayed away, but there were no seconds left to spare to sulk about it, so you caressed the tranquility Soonyoung’s face possessed and left a lingering peck upon it. Knowing him, you’d expected him to grip your waist and pull you down with him into the waters of his joyous yet yearning ways but the coal haired boy enveloped you in an enticing embrace and with his lips hovering slightly above your ear, whispered, “Tell him to get ready.”

“I swear to God, I hate basketball,” your brother exhaled out in utter annoyance, to which you furrowed your brows at.

You always shifted in your seat restlessly, your heart palpitating at an ungodly speed of McQueen, eyes sought frantically to avoid meeting your brother’s, upon the dreaded word of “basketball” ringing in your ears. It wasn’t that you abhorred it, no, not at all; you absolutely appreciated the art of dunking and the pleasing note of swish through the hoop, but just not the people you knew personally who partook in it.

There’s always a Montague and Capulet narrative happening somewhere in the universe, always, and it just so happened that you were struck with the curse by some godforsaken entity of destiny of landing a role in your life as the fresh faced, ever so naive, youngest member of the Capulets–Juliet. And you dreaded the direction your supposed fairytale was headed the first time your boyfriend asked you to watch his basketball game, which oddly enough, was the same one your brother requested you to “bring all your hot friends” to.

As strange as it sounded, it wasn’t your brother’s undeniable libido for your friends that irked you and made you hesitate going to a basketball game, to which you’ve never thought twice about before, but it was the statement of, “God I am going to crush number 10’s ass.”

Number 10. Number fucking 10. Of course, it had to be the player that sweat through blue polyester and nylon, donning number 10 in white on the front and back. It could have been player number 13 or 17, for God’s sake it could have even been a negative number sported on the jersey, yet it all had to align in the cosmos to be player number 10.

You didn’t certainly deem ESP to be something legitimate, but on that day you swore to god your mind fucked you royally in the ass and placed you in Soonyoung’s dorm room the night before. It was nothing out of the ordinary, really, nothing but the sight of a teenage boy’s niche, because a lot of basketball players had to have chosen the number 10 for their jersey, right?

The environment malfunctioned instantaneously with the repetition of “I am going to crush number 10’s ass” circling about a short circuit in your mind. From that moment onward, the sight of the jersey was unquestionably more radiant that it could have ever been, with the blinding, white number ten atop Soonyoung’s chair cackling obstreperously at your oh shit moment. Tuning in to your brother slander your university’s rival, Soonyoung’s school, was always such a joy (not) to participate in.

Every “basketball” here and there snagged you by the ear and dragged you to hell and back with it, provoking the cracks of your palm to drench in sweat and legs to quiver more than you had felt around Soonyoung before dating him.

“Yeah I mean it’s not like you’ve worked your entire ass off the past 4 years or so to even set foot on the college court you've been dreaming of since you were 13!” Diverting your brother’s mental debate on his love of the sport, it was a necessity to pluck something else from thin air to talk about, and not your school’s rival when they had games against each other, which was seemingly a bloodbath in their perspective.

Trying to escape your brother’s trash talk of Soonyoung’s team was walking through an eternal, pitch black, underground tunnel, no goddamn escape.

“They only got us last time because of number 10’s foolery. Jesus Christ, the kid better slow down or he’s wasting stamina. Can’t believe he holds the title of captain, like me. I motherfucking swear to God if I have to listen to his loud ass winning chant–” yadah yadah, number 10 this, number 10 that.

You would have dozed off to your brother’s lovely lullaby of scorn towards your boyfriend had it not been for a text…from your boyfriend.

“Hey, Hoshi,” you managed to choke out in a level headed manner.

Hoshi. That was what you and Soonyoung agreed to nickname him if you ever picked up a call from him around your brother or his teammates, but god forbid you were actually allowed to have a life of any sort!

Frowning because of Soonyoung’s lack of usual mirth and brimming confidence, you sighed, “If you let it get to you, then your thoughts affect your actions, and you don’t want that to happen right? You’ll be fine...and I’m not just saying this to say something, but you’re really good too, and you can’t let one person bring your entire mood down...even if...you know…”

“Will you at least come with me to my dorm after the game?”

“Oh you know I’ll be doing more than that,” giggling into your phone, trying to sound as enticing as possible, completely engrossed in this very conversation, as it was all the time talking with Soonyoung.

Both of you had a habit of drastically turning your talks from upside downs to those of obvious elation. Tucker has been in and out of Foster Care his entire life. Only knowing two good families who kept him for short periods of time.

When you stepped into J’onn’s office, you watched as he held up a hand since he was on the phone “Yes, of course… I’ll let you know when I know” he said before hanging up, looking at you as he gestured for you to sit down “Agent Y/L/N, Agent Danvers has been telling me that you’ve been improving a lot” he said, looking at you and you feeling your face burn “Yes sir” you said, giving him a nod which he returned “Well, I have an assignment for you” he said, setting a folder in front of you then looking at the door when it opened once more “Sorry I’m late sir… Ma’am” the agent said, nodding towards you before he sat down beside you “You and Agent Smith are going on a mission together, you guys have to act like a couple…” J’onn said, going into further details as he explained the situation to the two of you.

You had tried to call Kara to tell her about the mission you were going on and how you wouldn’t be able to call her for a few days, but there was no answer, so you assumed she was busy and told Alex to let her know if she asked, you and Agent Smith were at the bar you needed to be at, his arm around your waist as the two of you conversed in hushed whispers “Target, 3 o’clock” you said, spotting the guy when you glanced over Smiths shoulder, you having probably looked too long at him since he was now suspicious “He’s suspicious” you said, panicked, you were worried that you had just ruined the mission “Kiss me” Smith said, glancing back over his shoulder to see the target walking towards you guys “What?” You asked, looking at him with wide eyes before he crashed his mouth against yours.

What you didn’t know was that Kara had just walked in with some of the superfriends at that exact moment, her releasing a small gasp when she saw it before she averted her gaze, feeling the tears building up in her eyes before she ran out of the bar, you and Smith separated when you heard the bar door slam open and glanced in that direction, your brow furrowing with worry when you saw the superfriends “Excuse me for a second” you told Smith before you walked over to the others who were shooting you glares, minus Alex who looked apologetic.

“What’s going on here?” You asked, looking at them and looking at Winn when he scoffed “We should be asking you that, you made quite the scene over there” he said, nodding towards Smith who was ordering more drinks while also keeping an eye on the target “What are you talking about?” You asked, confused at what he meant “He’s meaning the fact that you just kissed that guy, Kara saw and she ran out” Nia said, looking at you and you felt your jaw drop before you looked at Alex who looked guilty “You were supposed to tell her!” You said, looking at her and watching as she stood up and gently grabbed your arms “I know, I forgot and I didn’t think you guys would be here” she said, looking at you.

“Anyone care to explain?” Maggie asked, looking between you and Alex, you sighing and rubbing your face, pretty sure you smeared a bit of your makeup in the process but you didn’t care “This is a mission, me and Smith are acting like a couple to get this guy, I couldn’t get ahold of Kara earlier to let her know so I asked Alex, now I gotta go fix this” you said, shaking your head before you stormed outside, finding Kara sitting on the curb with her head in her hands.

After taking a deep breath, you walked over to her, your heels clicking on the sidewalk as you walked before you stopped beside her “Kara? Can we talk? I can explain this-“ cutting yourself off when you saw the glare she shot your way “There’s nothing to talk about, I can’t believe you did this… Am I not good enough for you?” Kara asked, sounding broken as she asked you that “Kara it’s-“ “I don’t want to hear it, Y/N… We’re done” she said, flying away before you could even utter another word, leaving you standing there, unsure what to do anymore.

A few days passed before Kara would talk to anyone, Alex had dragged her out of her room and sat her down on the couch “Kara, just listen to me, okay?” Alex asked, looking at Kara who just gave a shrug and looked at the wall “Y/N didn’t cheat on you, she got a mission with that other agent, she tried to call you and let you know but she couldn’t get ahold of you so she asked me to let you know and it slipped my mind, they were supposed to act like a couple, that’s why they kissed, she’s not cheating on you” she said, resting a hand on Kara’s arm as she stared at the wall, looking conflicted before she let out a huge sigh “I’m such an idiot” she said, dropping her head in her hands while Alex shook her head “No, honey… You reacted just like anyone else would in that situation” Alex said, giving her arm a squeeze “I need to talk to her” Kara said, standing up and Alex nodded before standing up as well “You might want to shower first” watching as Kara smelled herself before making a look of disgust “You’re right”.

You were trying your best to be productive, making yourself do some cleaning around the apartment or making yourself go out for fresh air, currently you were failing at that and were sitting on your couch, eating Y/F/I/C and watching shitty romcom movies “Go away” you said when you heard a knock on your door, sighing and setting your bowl of ice cream down on the coffee table when the knocking didn’t stop “What do-Kara” you said when you opened the door, feeling the tears building up in your eyes once more but shaking them away “Can we talk?” She asked, looking at you and holding up a bag of food “I brought dinner” she said, watching as you gave a small nod before you stepped out of the way.

The two of you sat on the couch in silence, you picking at what was left of your ice cream before you sighed “I’m sorry” you both said, causing you both to look at each other before you barked out a laugh “You first” you said, gesturing to her “I’m sorry for not giving you the chance to explain… Alex told me everything” Kara said, looking at you and gently taking your hand “And I’m an idiot for jumping to conclusions” she said, watching as you set the bowl down once more before shaking your head “You’re not an idiot, you reacted how I would’ve if I was in your shoes” you said, resituating so you could look at her better.

“I’m sorry for not telling you about it, I tried but I should’ve tried harder or sent a text… I was just so excited for my first real mission that I didn’t think” you said, giving her hand a small squeeze and looking at her “So if anyone’s an idiot in this equation, it’s me” you said, pointing to yourself and smiling when Kara laughed “How about we’re both idiots?” She suggested, smiling at you and you nodding “So… Are we okay now? Girlfriends again?” You asked, looking at her and trying not to get your hopes up “We’re okay, we’re girlfriends again” Kara assured, smiling at you before pulling you in for a quick kiss “You do need a shower though” she chuckled, pulling back and watching as you nodded “Which I will do right now” you promised, kissing her once more as you stood up “I’m glad we’re okay” you said, smiling at her “I am too, now go shower, you smell” she said, playfully smacking your ass before laughing as you playfully flipped her off before going to take your shower, the night getting ten times better after that.
