11. Who's the most important person in their life?

He is a very family oriented man, but he loves his siblings much more than his parents. He has a trans woman sibling, but was exiled when she came out to her parents. He misses her constantly, and he protected her the most, so she was very important to him. This also made Askal a big supporter of the LGBTQIA+, although he isn't very vocal about it.

23. What's one childhood memory they've never forgotten?

Oh, where to start?! He has a very vibrant childhood and he has a lot of great stories to tell! But one time, they lived in a rural town by the sea and he had a huge barkada. They had an idea to try and recreate zombie scenes they saw in Hollywood movies. In the dead of the night, they would go to the cemetery just a walking distance away from the town, holding handmade wooden guns. They flip a dako coin to determine the zombie team and human team, and they hunt each other, like playing tigso, whispering gun sounds and playing dead with huge smiles on their faces. When there's a weird noise they would collectively scream and run towards the gate, coming back a few minutes later to continue the match. The matches often ended with a draw... and an ass whooping from their mothers. Worth it!

Being a Filipino. He is the stereotypical, bayang magiliw singing type of patriot. But he isn't proud of his country's politics, that's for sure. He would proudly show off his culture everytime he's given the chance!

DUMAGUETE, NEGROS ORIENTAL -- A romantic Filipino drama, love story movie sequel "Hello, Love, Again" shown in cinemas nationwide in the Philippines this week on Wednesday (November 13th, 2024). Late-comers after purchasing tickets online at 'Robinsons MovieWorld' cinema theater thru Robinsons Place in 'Barangay Calingdagan, Dumaguete City, Negros Oriental'.

This early weekend, in his recent Facebook rant post on social media (owned by Meta Platforms Inc. [MPi]) last Thursday night (November 14th, 2024 -- Dumaguete local time), the group of student friends had come in late after buying food from the store, probably at the 1st or 2nd floor. One female security guard say, they approach for complaint in person for what had happened. The movie was scheduled to begin around 8:30pm. However, most reserved seats have already been occupied partially or in full, where its apparently a graphics design student of Silliman University (SU), who asked not to use his name for respecting privacy, saw his friends are Kean Andrei Bagaipo, Danielle Akia R. Acaylar, Genno Gabriel Rabaya and Alexia Reign Hernandez.

For those familiar about the movie sequel, especially if you haven't already seen the movie before. "Hello, Love, Again" is the long-awaited sequel of the blockbuster hit 2019 movie "Hello, Love, Goodbye". Directed by 'Catherine Rosales Garcia-Sampana' with starring movie casts 'Kathryn Chandria Manuel Bernardo' and 'Alden Reyes Richards', this new movie catapults off with the emotional story of 'Joy Marie Fabregas' a nurse in Canada, and 'Ethan del Rosario' as a bartender in Hong Kong. After facing so many trials, that included time apart, distance and the global effects brought by Coronavirus Disease-19 (CoViD-19), Joy finally gets the chance to meet Ethan in Canada. While trying to reconnect with each other, they quickly discover how much they have each changed. The movie flows out through their journey to reconnect one another into a reality.

The movie also highlights the experiences of Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs), shedding light on their struggles and triumphs. With a talented supporting cast including 'Joross Sanchez Gamboa', 'Valerie Norona Concepcion' and 'Alexis Maitim Garcia', HLA promises to be an emotional and inspiring tale of love, resilience and personal growth. Box office revenue generated between the Midnight screening and regular theather release to almost PHP570M (or U$D9,506,027).

In an overnight situation, the movie ticket checker at the cinema and his student pals would advance book 5 reserved seats online, where they can all sit together. On arriving a bit late for the show in the theater, however, they discovered that their seats were already occupied by some patrons. To try and fix things, his friends decided to switch to a different row of seats and put their bags on two (2) of them to save spots for the Sillimanian student and another friend.

Nagmano silang lahat sa nanay ni Aiah na kakadating lang din. She wasn't surprised anymore na kasama ni Aiah ang barkada nya kasi her daughter messaged her while nagba-byahe sila. Aiah's Mom then led them towards a private area, and the girls instantly understood na naka private plane ang susunduin nila ngayon.

Well, the Arceta's were certainly wealthy. It wasn't a suprise na they own a private plane.

"Psst... Ate Aiah!"

Maloi asked, and the other girls listened to them. Stacey and Sheena shared the same confused look that she and her Mom can't help but laugh softly at their questioning gazes.

Aiah and her mom instantly stood up, a wide smile spread across their faces. Maloi, Stacey, and Sheena, albeit confused, stood up from their seats too as they faced the door.

As soon as one person entered the room, everyone had different reactions.

The tall lady spoke as she hugged her mom, who was shedding some tears of joy. She smiled and wiped the tears off, not liking that her mother was crying even tho it wasn't out of sadness.

"Don't cry, mom. I'm here now. I missed you..."

"Miss na miss din kita, anak. Pasensya na at nawalay tayo, alam mo naman na yun lang ang tanging paraan to keep us safe."

"Yes ma, I understand."

"So you won't hug me, my dear twin?"

Hello!

Second blog for April! Yey! I make time for my blog!! Amazing, actually kakatapos ko lang magreview ng mtlaws though paunti unti ako kasi dinadahan dahan ko lang pero baka mamayang gabi magtodo ako ng review sa mtlaws at isusunod na si cph lec para hindi ako tamarin. Madami dami pa akong aaralin e, tapos kapag nakatapos ako sa dalawa simulan ko na din yung para lec ko HAHAHAHAHA. Magbabawi ako sa midterms kasi para makapasa ako, no tamad era tayo ngayon though medyo chill na ako ngayon hindi pa rin pwede magpakampante.

So kumusta naman ako? I'm happy! Yes, despite of what happened to my circle, I am contended na sa kung anong meron ako ngayon. Swerte pa rin ako kasi mabait pa rin ang napuntahan kong circle sa ibang section. Ang cute kasi ako lang talaga girl friend nila sa group, well, somehow, ako yung nakipagkaibigan sa kanila kasi close ko naman yung isang friend nila don and ayon boom! Naging barkada ko na yung tatlong friend niya. It's fine for me na puro lalaki kaibigan ko ngayon kasi hindi sila high maintenance and nandyan lang sila kapag kailangan mo ng masasandalan. They helped me paano ko madidiskubre kung saan nga ba akong circle nararapat. Nakakatuwa lang sila. Super appreciated talaga sila.

Hindi na ako ganon kadrain sa mga nangyari and I know the reason why bakit sobrang drained na drained ako nung mga nakaraang buwan. Sa ibang friends ko pala, sobra nila akong nadrain, hindi ko alam bakit ganon pero baka dahil hindi naibabalik sa akin ang energy na binibigay ko? Or naur? Ewan ko basta ngayon hindi ako drain sa mga taong nasa paligid ko.

Super contended na ako sa ganitong lagay dahil napapalagay ako sa tamang lugar at kung saan saan ako nakakasama, ang cute kaya muka akong tubig na nagfloflow lang ngayon sa section na nasaan ako. Mas naeenjoy ko ang company ng sarili ko na ako lang ang gumagastos HAHAHAHAHA.

Napadaan lang talaga ako sa Tumblr pero wala akong balak magblog pero naisip ko habang naliligo ako kanina pwede naman ako magblog ngayon kasi Holy Week naman and I have time pa naman to do this. Kaya ayan.

Anyway, I need to sleep para makapagpahinga ako at para makapagreview ng maayos mamaya lalo <3

Thank God It's Monday!

I'm a morning person and I'm proud of that. I woke up 5:30 in the morning and prep myself for school. My uniform still fits me haha. And while waiting for breakfast, I watched some episodes of "TGIS" on YouTube. It popped out of my recommendation so, I watched it and fell in love with teen Red Sternberg. He plays Kiko in the show. He's such a cutie. I asked mom about the show and she got kilig talking to me about it. She even borrowed my phone and watched a bunch of Bobby and Angelu interviews while I ate my breakfast. It's a major throwback :D

It must have been fun hangging out with friends and seeing them face to face just like how the TGIS Barkada did it before. They hang in their friend's house talk about things, play games, and plan on going out together. No cellphones! No photoshoots! No social media! Shocker haha. It makes me compare my teenage life with theirs. I thought how amazing it must have been to be with your barkada in real life. I entertained myself with this idea as I headed to school.

I arrived at school by 7:14 am. I already prepared the slides and activities for my homeroom classes last Friday, so what I freaked about was research. I asked questions from my colleagues on what to do, what classroom policies to apply, where to get materials and the like.

First meeting with advisory classes went well. I am now more observant of students' behaviour. I can see potential blessings and headaches but I'm still at lost on relating with them. I asked them about their favorite songs and I haven't heard most of them. I'm growing old :'( Anyway... I did not say anything stupid (I hope) and I prepared for my research class. My students are well behaved because hello first day? But I knew I came in strong so, they better not mess with me. Anyway, everything was smooth. I still had time to do recitations after that it rained hard. I was tired for the day really tired. Lunch was only 30 minutes and my last class ended by 6 pm. When I claimed the stairs to the office, I heard the calm sound of the pouring rain. It was a relief. I stayed in the faculty room waiting for the rain to stop. I sat limp on my chair thinking that it was still Monday. MONDAY and I was that tired.

I went out by 6:44 pm. It was drizzling but I had my umbrella. I hunted for a jeepney and good thing I found one quickly. I went it and had small talk with my former student before. His class will always be my favorite class and he made it remarkable so, of course I was happy to see him. Such a cool kid. I went home by 7:30 ate a quick dinner with mom and went to my neighbour to help them with their assignments. It was still raining, so the grandparents understood why I was late. The kids smiles made me happy :) I'm back with them again and I could tell Nigel was now soft around me haha. He's not making my life miserable anymore. It was also their first day of school so, assignments were just reviews on topics discussed last school year. It was easy. I thought that was it but Ate Betty increased my fee because there are four of them now, all smart, and she gave me pasalubong from Dubai. So thoughtful of her :)

I went back home with two soaps, one bottle of shampoo, and a big bar of chocolate. I was really happy about my day but I was also tired at the same time. I spent the rest of the night meditating and scrolling Facebook. I slept by 10:30 pm because I have a 7 am class in research by Tuesday.

Hello, Boracay!

After months of closure, Boracay has finally reopened to local tourists. Given the pandemic setting, stricter rules and regulations were set in place to ensure safe and fun experiences. It might be kind of a hassle, but considering the efficiency of the processes, it is actually time saving.

I’m all giddy and excited to explore this island, especially I’ve been locked at home for almost two years with nothing but my books, reviewers, lectures, and my discord aral barkada. Definitely the breath of fresh air that I totally need.

Boracay Travel Requirements Checklist (as of November 2021)

sulit na sulit naman din ang araw na 'to lalo na't sama-sama kaming magkakapitbahay sa iisang bahay hahaha ito favorite ko dito samin eh, para kaming family lalo na pag may okasyon <3 sana hindi magbago. nag-babysit din ako ng mga cute na bb 🤣 kumain din naman sila at nakipaglaro sakin eh, hay, cucute talaga ng mga bata. sana bata nalang ulit ako.

yay, 19 na nga ako. wow. hindi ko pa rin maisip na... hahahaha 19 na ako??? lol. pagkagising ko, tumawag mga pinsan kong bata tapos pinag-blow nila ako ng candle sa mamon huhu ang cucute, love na love ako. excited na excited pang bumati. 😭❤️ nagpunta rin akong simbahan bago kami lumabas ng fam ko. muntik pa akong di papasukin ni kuya guard hahahaha nasabi ko tuloy na birthday ko that day para pagbigyan ako 🤣 masaya ako kasi kasama ko fam ko & nakain ko rin mga gusto kong kainin hehehe dami rin bumati sakin, cuties <3 again, thank You po, Lord.
