💡 - What inspired the wip? When/how did you first get the idea? This WIP reminds me somewhat (just somewhat) of a Chinese show I just finished called Meet Yourself. Also hi from the void. ~da&winNZ

I don't have a playlist! I know, anathema.

A piece of lore: Fr. Thaddeus is painting murals in his retreat chapel when Rylla meets him. I haven't decided what they're of yet but it's going to be important, whatever it is. Maybe St. Peter walking on water, or Our Lord asleep in the boat. Maybe something apocalyptic or Old Testament. It'll come to me eventually. Rylla is a painter too. This shared interest initially forms the basis of their friendship. Rylla teaches art classes at the studio she owns on Broadway (the main street downtown) with her best friend/old college roommate, Clarice. But she hasn't been able to paint since Amber died. It was an accidental death - I think I know how but haven’t settled details yet. I’ll know once I’ve got a clearer picture of a climactic scene that’s coming between Rylla and her husband (whose name I keep changing). I know the important things - how she feels about him and that he’s a good man.

Colors or textures: I see the town as bright. Kansas colors - yellow, brown, blue, green. I'm picturing it in the summer. But in the winter, when the story opens, everything is brown and grey and washed out. The cheerful paint in town looks painfully forced.

So both Sun and Moon can crawl around on and off land, which I think is neat! Can’t wait to draw more of The Feesh next week!! (Stiiiiillll contemplating making a Mer Bloodmoon, or maybe a Mer Eclipse, unsure, but if I do it would be outside of the event)

if you end up passing stream highlights off to editors PLEASEEEE make sure they keep in the queerbaiting and emotional non-jokey moments so many highlight videos cut it out. (tbh i dont even know if there is any queerbaiting in lifesteal s5 or if its a collective hallucination)

oh of course, the thingy that meep made of my breakdown breakdown was like a part of why I started these in the first place. that kind of raw stream footage couldn't really be fully captured in a main channel video but through highlights like these I can get a lot of the stuff I do exclusively for stream out which is awesome. amazing feeling. so happy about this development.
