Apologies if this get too rambly (with a crossover between two of my favorite fandoms how could it not XD) but imagine all of the new situations the apple twins being around the disaster twins could create... I'm mainly thinking about what it would be like after Donnie makes his own wings

We know that Dream is disappointed that he doesn't have wings of his own (like Leo) in the FED au at least, so once he sees that Donnie can make the wings he would probably beg him to make some for himself

But I think this could lead to a few different situations, either Dream also doesn't realize that Leo also wants wings or he does, with his ability to sense Leo's emotions (assuming that applies here lol) he would probably realize what he wants and get Donnie to make both of them wings : D

Or, maybe he doesn't realize and only asks Donnie to make the wings for himself, in which case both Leo and Nightmare would be left without wings while their brothers are able to fly off without them... I love the potential interactions between Donnie and Nightmare but what would happen if Leo and Nightmare are the only ones left without wings? Or even if he asks for the wings to be made for himself and Leo but not Nightmare? 👀 (Possibly leading him to feel more outcast and becoming corrupted?)

INTRIGUING. I AM INTRIGUED.

That’s such a slippery slope of a situation, mostly due to who actually WANTS to fly. Dream does, absolutely, and obviously Leo. Donnie wants to defy God itself and his own genetics, that’s 99% of why he made wings. Meanwhile, Nightmare has no desire at all. The ground is nice, thank you. If anything, he’s learning that swimming is pretty neat, thanks to Leo. (It’s not as nice to Dream, feels weird with his fur).

BUT. Bro definitely has some abandonment issues. If all of the others could fly, including his brother, he’d likely feel left out. But if it was Leo and him that couldn’t fly, and Dream was too focused on new people and new friends and new wings to realize Leo’s inner turmoil, Nightmare definitely has.

He may not be a huge fan of Donnie, but he does like Leo. He’s teaching NM to swim. He has a lot of patience with NM, especially with his social anxiety and fear of new people. He’s actually very kind and considerate, knowing exactly what people need or feel without having the same emotional abilities the Apple Twins have! Even if he tries to cover up his softer sides with self confidence and annoying jokes, Nightmare would probably be the first to ever see right through that, talk to him about it, and get to hang out with a more real ass version of Leo.

Heck, bro probably has brought him on his portal flight runs before. Cuz Nightmare’s the only one who really understands that feeling of being left behind. Might as well show off this trick to someone that’ll fully understand the value of it and the complexities of performing it in the first place.

So yeah, he’s not a fan of Donnie. But he’d absolutely ask Dee to make Leo AND him a set of wings, so Leo can have his dream without having to expose himself to his brothers before he’s quite ready…

theories for Generation Loss The Founders Cut!!

Starting with the diagrams for the Mask, Glasses and Hat in connection to FC and some of the new info we got :)))))

a few spoilers for FC changes!! especially for the last episode... so many important changes made damn

First, its pretty clear now that the Mall segments of episode 3 were staged by Hetch and/or Showfall. Between him saying that he was given control by the Founder and him manipulating lots of the elements of the show, this is definitely something purposeful.

The Mask is the thing that i feel confident in having an understanding in. Ranboo is never let free of control, and is always kept under it, but with various levels.

Red Light's on means complete control. Being able to do anything Hetch wants him to do and being 'in character'

Flashing means having some level of autonomy, but still in character (example: when they're at the tv asking what to do theyre not screaming and begging to escape, theyre trying to survive the cabin, not realising its not real)

No lights means complete autonomy, but the events of the story is very real to them. they can make decisions and react like its real but are still playing a role in the story. (In Episode 3, the lights are gone until the very end)

The Flashing in the finale shows that Ranboo is still in character but can also see the reality of the situation. Life or Death.

these three levels can be applied to the other characters as well. The carousel gang (Vinny, Niki, Ethan and Austin) were the third level of control. The situation was very real to them, and pleading with the audience to free them was for their real freedom.

Sneeg is different though. I believe he was under complete control the whole time, just like Ranboo was. They maintained character, when Ethan died and Austin was screaming. This is made so much more clear when Austin was yelling "Do you guys even care?!" and Sneeg says something like "Damn thats a lot of blood."

The Hat is different to The Glasses and The Mask. While Ranboo and Charlie have implants in their brains, The Hat is just some kind of interceptor for brainwaves. Sneeg doesn't have the implants the Hat does. I think different hats have different roles programmed into them? like the white hat is his Cabin character and the black mesh hat is for the Warehouse. When the two situations crossed (wearing the Cabin hat in the Warehouse), it messed up whatever brainwashing Sneeg had for the Warehouse and made him confused as to why he wasn't in the Cabin anymore. When he ran off, he could have potentially encountered something he wasn't supposed to see (prompting him to say "What kind of a place is this!?" but it could also be bcs its a Warehouse and he doesn't understand that in the moment)

OR Sneeg is a newer member of the cast. They didn't have the time to plant the electronics into his head, but Charlie and Ranboo have been there so much longer and have been more efficiently integrated into the system. Sneegs hats are temporary, and in the future (or if he rebels sooner) he'll get implants too.

wyll comes at u and tells u his dnd character is human warrior, male. this is a persona he made up to cope with the fact he has an abusive, negligent “guardian”—whose dark magic he was always probably drawn to. (mizora rip bastard shes not dead but i wish she was Gone And Not Here)

his farher is might makes right, the baldurian tav can call the flaming fist a bunch of arseholes and blowhards. his father expects ten hundred percent from him. and when wyll is drawn to “darkness”, hes scared n punished for it to the point hes kicked out of the city he sold his soul to save

darkness in fiction is almost always evil. but thats not really true. and even in bg3 where killing all goblins is “righteous”—halsin says there are things in this world outside the boundaries of what we know. darkness, especially when writing and interacting with characters of color—is natural, good, a birthright

and the devil and sin? that which we are taught to be tempted by, and “owned” and “damned” by? are things that belong to US as queer people to reclaim the power of no-rules no-protestant limits of sexuality and gender under oppressive ideologies and gods which seek to harm our authentic, fucked up selves, in all the right and wrong and HUMAN ways

wyll’s father is ashamed of him for being queer, and soft. (metaphorically)
