vis tellimus gives such neil josten energy.
lies constantly about his past, decisions are fuelled by panic and spite, has absolutely no filter, is a sassy angsty teenager and is on the run from his past.
the only difference is vis keeps trying to convince people he's this great warrior but ends up falling out a window
and neil josten is just a genuinely terrifying sight to behold.

ANGEL FACE
Do not be fooled by her wings, they could change into thorns at any given moment.
“Say what you want and I’ll keep it a secret.”
Episode 1:
Which is understandable, as they were scholarship kids, and these students are in a completely different world, navigating it as that they were super, and the scholarship kids are a virus. “Come on Kang Ha… you got this..” she whispered. As he started to give his speech, the doors opened, causing the Mic to stop working, and for the girl to glance over at the walking duo. It was a handsome boy who walked like he owed the place. She quietly looked away, looking back at her friend, giving him a thumbs up to continue. As he talked about being the ACE, she almost clapped for his speech, realizing quickly, that no one was gonna clap. She gripped her skirt, as he walked over to sit with her. He bumped her shoulder gently, before they were dismissed. As Kang Ha got up quickly, the student behind him pulled him back down. Nana watched as the late student walked out, and quickly everyone followed out. She got up, as she had to find the music room before her class, kissing her friends cheek gently, as he nodded at her. Nana walked down, carrying her violin, before finding herself lost. She walked into a room, quietly calling out for help. “You can’t be in here.” She turned around, finding a handsome boy looking at her boredly. “Oh I’m sorry,” she bowed before standing up straight and smiley gently. His eyes widen slightly before he composed himself. “I’m Looking for the music room?” He looked at her tie before nodding quietly. “Scholarship student? 1st day?” She nodded, as he looked at her calmly. “Down the hall, 3rd door from your left. But make sure you have permission before entering since you are a scholarship student.” She nodded, bowing thankfully. As she was about to walk out, he called her softly. “What’s your name?” She turned, smiling at him. “I’m Nana.” She left as he whispered to himself. “Nana….how cute.”
After 20 mins, Nana manage to get into the music room, and arrive to class on time. She walked in, seeing Kang Ha cause trouble, as she gently sighed. “Kang Ha…”, people turned when they heard a soft voice. People stared quietly at the scholarship student, she was pretty for a poor person, like unnatural pretty. Her doe eyes, her beauty marks and her beautiful hair? Some students felt threatened. “They’re a perfectly fine seats back there, come on.” As she glided across the room, students staring at her beautiful figure, she quietly sat down, as Kang Ha complained that there was no bag hook.
Nana quietly observed her childhood friend who was bother students around him. “Oppa, maybe we should stay quiet for a bit.” He looked at her before nodding and then decided to completely ignore her advice by asking how can he switch his class schedule. Nana got up, tapping his shoulder. “I have to go to practice, please stay out of trouble. I’ll meet you at the fair?” He nodded as she leaned down to kiss his cheek. Some rich students noticed and whispered amongst themselves.
Nana walked down the hall, ignoring all the stares that people were throwing at her. She loathed the arrogantly disgustingly rich who had nothing better to do with their time. She made it to the music room, and quietly took out her violin. She took out her tablet, and look at the music sheets she was sent via email. She balanced her violin, before starting her chord warm ups. She messed around, smiling to herself at the sound, completely unaware of a student watching her from the door. He watched her quietly as she was so focused on her music, lost in her own world, oblivious to the curiosity in his eyes. He closed the door before making his way to the locker rooms.
After her practice, Nana was reading her book quietly, waiting for Kang Ha to come out of PE. Her hair was gently falling down her face, causing her to use a hair tie. As she was tying it, she didn’t notice the stairs of the other rich students who sit down in the front of the bleachers. “She’s pretty… for a scholarship scum.” The three football players turned around, hearing the girls talk about someone. Ri-an and Woojin saw the girl, observing how studious she was. “That’s Nana.”, Woojin said. All his friends looked at him, wondering how he knew that. “We met in the art room, she was lost. She’s nice.” They all nodded as Nana was in her own world. Ri-an said nothing as he thought back to how she looked in the music room. She seemed like someone who minded her own business, and made no trouble for him.
“NANA!”, yelled Kang Ha as he waved at her. She looked at him and smiled, getting up from her far seat in the corner to go meet him. As he was about to sit in the bleachers, he was pulled away by a group of students. Nana watched confused as they pulled him away. “You can sit while you wait for him.” Nana turned and look down the bleachers, as He-ra spoke to her. “Oh no thank you. I wouldn’t want to disturb you.”  Nana bowed before being stopped by Woojin. “Just sit.” She looked at him, then glanced at Ri-an before nodding. She quietly sat down, and opened her book.
It would be about 10 minutes later when Kang Ha would show up again. He marched over to the rich elite teens, and introduce himself to no effort.  Ri-an would look at him, before bumping his shoulder into Kang Ha. The others followed soon right after him. Nana watched as Kang Ha would be invited to a party by He-ra, who told him to also bring Nana. He watched after them, before going up the stairs to sit with Nana.
“So, how much do you wanna bet these assholes are gonna mess with us at the party?” “Lunch. They will mess with you first.” Nana smirked. “Breakfast, they’ll mess with you before me,” she said. He laughed, as he pulled her up. She looped her arm in his, and he guided her back to class. Woojin watched Nana walk away with Kang Ha. “Interesting.”
It was a quiet drive to He-ra’s party. Nana wore a simple black tank top, and a long flower skirt. She looked sweet. Kang Ha opted for his uniform. As they stepped out of the car, and stood at the bottom of the stairs, Nana reaching for her friends hand. “It’s okay, we got this.” He pulled her up the stairs, giving their phone to the security, before being surrounded by crazy, intoxicated teens. Kang Ha and Song Nana felt out of place quickly. She nodded at him before disappearing to get something to drink. She stood at the bar, smiling politely at the bartender. He nodded at her as she bit her lip. “Do you even drink Nana-ah?” She turned to her right. “Oh. Art room guy!” Woojin smiled at her, before ordering two blue martinis. He slid one to her, as she bowed slightly at him. “You know, I have a name.” “Oh? That’s nice.” He looked at her as she stared at her blue martini. “It taste like Raspberries.” “I don’t trust anything that’s blue or pink. Drinks shouldn’t be colorful.” He laughed slight at her point. She turned to him, taking a sip of her drink. “You said you had a name?” “Lee Woojin.” “Nice to meet you Lee Woojin. I’m Nana.” She held out her hand, making him smile before shaking it. “Why don’t we take this party to the corner, it is much quieter over there.” Nana glanced towards Kang Ha, woojin following her line of sight. “He’ll be fine.”  Nana nodded, as she followed him towards the table. They sat as the others dragged Kang Ha to drink. “So, why Jooshin?” “Why not?” He nodded at her answer. Nana sipped her drink calmly, as he observed her. “So, what is your relationship with your friend?” Nana put her drink down on the table, before glancing at Kang Ha. “Friends…Childhood friends.” “So I’m guessing you never kissed him.” “If you are asking if he is my first kiss, he is not.” Woojin nodded, as he looked at her outfit. “Well, I guess you may look like the Virgin Mary, but I doubt you are.” Nana clinched her fist. “And you may look untouchable, but I doubt you are a saint yourself.” They stared at each other for what felt like forever. “OH SHIT! He’s got someone in mind!” The pair turned to look somewhere else, watching Kang Ha walk towards a room.
Nana and Woojin got up, he gently guided her to the room, where Jae-il and Kang Ha were locked into a passionate kiss. “What is going on?” “He was dared to kiss as beautiful girl.” Nana watched Ri-an pull them apart before punching Kang Ha in the face. “No…NO-“ Woojin grabbed her arm, before Nana could help her friend. He took her outside of the room, taking her to the front of the house. “It is better if you do not get involved with them. Just stay in your corner, do not come out, and let them settle this on their own.” Nana pulled her arm out of his grip. “Don’t you ever pull me like that. The next time you lay a hand on me, will be that last time you have hands.“ Nana said, before walking down the stairs, telling the driver to take her home. Woojin watched the car drive away before taking his phone out and calling someone. “Hey…I need you to look at someone for me.”
Nana arrived home after some time. She walked up the the nice house, the front gate unlocking, as her father was inside, talking to his men. Nana might look like a simple lower class girl, but that was because she didn’t want to be judged for her money. Her father was Song Tae-hee, owner of Song Corporations of weaponary and protection.Meaning they were hugely sought out for their weapons to military forces. Being the only child, she was her father’s pride and joy. Unfortunately, it was just the two of them, as her mother had passed away to cancer. She entered her home, finding her father talking to his men about shipping and handling for the weapons. She gently knocked on the door, everyone looking at her. She looked at her father, walking over as he motioned her to him. “Sweetheart, you are home early.” “The party was boring.” He nodded as she bowed at the men in the room, before leaving. “She looks like her mother more and more every day.” “Sir, I heard she switched schools, will she be alright?” “Yeah, she is going to Jooshin, on a scholarship. She didn’t want me to pay for it, so she paid for it through a scholarship.”  “I thought that your daughter was to remain out of the spotlight from the other Elite families?” “That was my choice but something happened to her recently. She seems determined to find out something, so I’m letting her use all of my resources and money to help her. She has never asked for anything before, so I’m willing to give her the world if she asked me to.” “It almost sounds like you would let the world burn for her.” “If she wanted it, I would,” her father said smiling at his staff. “Now, let us continue. The United States contacted us regarding weapons.”

Thoughts on Heirarchy ep 1-2
I just watched the first two episodes so I’m only basing my opinion off of that. The girl who plays fl, Jae-i, her acting isn’t acting rn. I understand that she’s supposed to be having issues and she turned cold or something but then there should at least be more than one facial expression. I need her to cry like she means it, be a bitch like she means it. Not the lip licking thing she made. I only smoke casually but even I know she’s not getting nothing with the way she smokes. She’s like pecking it. If they’re not going to commit then just put some smoke effect or something. If she thinks her dad’s a monster then convince me girl. Rn she’s giving meh in everything which is disappointing because I saw the list of works she’s done, she’s by far has the most experience out of all of them.
Ri an, his acting isn’t giving me scary chaebol. I’m comparing them to the kids in the glory and penthouse. Like those kids act. This one didn’t scare me, all I’m being shown is what they did but they’re not convincing me that they’re capable of it. It was a cool entrance tho. idk if it’s his face or his acting. Also jae i and ri an isn’t convincing me that they had a strong relationship or they cared very much.
Kang Ha, him being the clueless new kid actually annoyed me for once and the plot twist if him actually having a motive for everything was okay ig. Which only tells me that he did his job pretty well. His character is overbearingly chippy. Good Job kid, you’ve convinced me. What irks me is the choices he makes to do his revenge. Not sure it’s working well. He doesn’t seem very bright so it’s hard to root for him. The writers could do better at writing his character.
Hera is actually giving me mean girl, the overly flirtatious party girl. I think the actress played her well.
So far the plot is interesting. But we’ve been there done that. I almost don’t care to know more about the mysteries tho. I’m probably going to finish it just because I’ve already started. The sets are very aesthetically pleasing in a dystopian way. Like the school kinda look like underground bunkers but fancy. The main characters aren’t giving much though. Again, if we compare it to penthouse and sky castle. Most of the kids there were only starting out as well but they acted their ass off.

There are rules in society of who’s allowed to stand out and who isn’t, whose allowed to express themselves and who’s expected to obey the status quo, who’s allowed to flaunt their qualities and who’s expected to stay humble. They’ll tear you apart for a collective satisfaction if you decide to step out of those stereotypical boxes. They’ll celebrate your downfall, because how dare you challenge the carefully constructed psychological hierarchy of who belongs at the top and who should remain in the background?

It's trust. The thing the huge company is looking for from that employee is not skill or labor, it wants an employee it can trust.
Trust is a very fuzzy, feely thing. So it's often given to people who make those already in power feel comfortable. People who look like those already in power. People who talk like those already in power. People who have a lot of charisma in general. People with "the right vibes", for lack of a better term.
These do-nothing employees are the ones who reinforce the intangible aspects of the company. They make small decisions. They reinforce company culture. They act as gatekeepers for other employees trying to ascend into leadership positions. And they act as scapegoats when a corporate decision backfires.
I know American Psycho has a lot of exaggeration and satire to it but the one detail in it that’s absolutely completely true to life is how Patrick Bateman’s job does not appear to actually entail anything you can define as real work. There are millions of guys like him in America, probably more now than there were when that movie got made, whose job is to just kind of hold a position of power in a huge company without really doing anything that requires any skill or labor.

also, universities are the most hierarchical form of organization I've ever worked in, and that includes having been at frickin' Microsoft for six years
Your project team is organisationally flat? Cool – so is this a "we have a boss in practice, but their decisions can never be challenged or held accountable because nobody will admit that they're in charge" situation, or is it more of a "mission-critical tasks that nobody is excited about doing simply don't get done" sort of deal?
