Coming from dm!!! I wanna hear some Diego headcanons, could you tell us?

OF COURSE, THANK YOU 🤸‍♀️ im eating up every opportunity to talk about this man !!! some of these i've probably mentioned before but i have a few core HCs that i am quite passionate about so that's inevitable :'))

(warning for SBR spoilers!)

he's 5'3", i think this is widely accepted but i want to emphasize my love for short king diego

he has freckles, yes this is my tendency to give every single one of my favorite characters freckles but i won't back down on this

he's very particular about aesthetics, including but not limited to his clothing, his living space, the way he physically carries himself, the state of silver bullet's appearance (though he is very passionate about caring for her in general and considers it his way of bonding with her)

he's VERY good at braiding hair and can do several different kinds with ease and quickness.

morning guy, he likes being up to see the sunrise and get in some early morning exercise

modern diego is a huge movie buff, his favorite films are peak and you cannot convince him otherwise! he loves psychological thrillers, is very particular about the horror he enjoys, can't stand romantic comedies, and his secret guilty pleasure is animated movies about animals (spirit is very special to him)

modern diego watches hours of animal videos, if he's smiling at his phone it's very safe to assume he's watching something like "cat bonds with lizard" or "newborn foal walks for the first time"

annoyingly photogenic, he cannot take a bad picture no matter how hard someone tries to catch him off guard, however if you get a chance to take one while he's sleeping... that's when he looks the worst (he will not rest until you delete that photo)

when he's in love (rare!!!) or has decided to trust someone (also rare!!!) he gets soooo clingy and overly protective, he will do anything for the people he cares about, though gaining that trust is an extremely difficult and unbearable feat.. he's hard to love initially (and actively repellent to it anyway) but when his walls finally come down it's very much worth it

dinopants REAL, that's it that's the headcanon but araki told me himself that they're in love and compliment each other so well and make each other better people

modern diego loves jaffa cakes, they remind him of his mother because they would share them when he was very young

not the best cook but he really wants to be, his mother left behind a recipe book which he treasures dearly and wants to master.

he has a very loud laugh, it's actually a little off-putting 💀

if you don't laugh at his jokes then you're wrong and he will hold a grudge (im mostly joking but like... he thinks he's the funniest motherfucker around)

he's happiest when it's clear skies with lots of sunshine, he hates the cold, hates the rain, and despises snow, during the winter if he has to leave the house, even if it's just to get the mail or something, he wears several layers and bitches about it the entire time

scary monsters has long-lasting side effects on diego's body outside of him actively using it - his skin gets very dry much quicker (if he doesn't moisturize often his skin will peel and turn a gross green color), his nails grow exponentially faster and have to be trimmed often, he's much more sensitive to the cold, he can see perfectly fine at night without any light (his elevated senses are a canon thing anyway, i just think it's cute)

silver bullet is diego's bff !!!!!! he raised her from the time she was born and he cares deeply for her (when he called her his 'beloved' in canon i genuinely lost it) people have wronged him his entire life but horses have been his safe place for as long as he can remember

the bow on diego's helmet was placed there in dedication to his mother - the bows on his shirt when he was a child were hand-crafted by her in her (rare) free time and he's always associated these kinds of decorations with her

during the race diego finds solace in keeping his helmet close by him at all times, during quiet moments where he's alone he will have quiet conversations with it as if his mother is sitting there with him (it keeps him motivated)

diego genuinely cared for his late wife - he lacked a proper education while growing up, and while he did get some informal education during his time with the joestars, she spent a lot of time teaching him academics more relevant to his age, all while treating him with a kind of nurturing love that he'd been unknowingly craving and desperately in need of

despite this, he still has huge difficulty with vulnerability and emotional awareness in general (canon??) and has stuffed his inner struggles so deep down that he's not even aware of them anymore, his ego is definitely a coping mechanism for how troubled he actually is

but to end on a positive note: he has a youthful soul and at his best he's goofy and charismatic, he matures wonderfully and he makes an amazing mayor because he understands the struggles of the lower class and wants to work as hard for them as he can

i have to stop there or else i'll be here all day !!!!! a lot of the canon-related ones are/will be fleshed out in my current diego character study that i'm working on... god i love him he's so layered and interesting!!! and hot too!!!

You poised in the mirror with your hands on your hips: Superwoman style. You heard that this was a pose that could actually boost confidence if you repeated this action daily... some sort of positive-reinforcement via brain chemistry. But, your train of thought was cut off as you did a giddy little twirl.

You fanned out the longer coat tails of Alastor's coat, marveling the split that made room for his fluffy tail. You squirmed at the thought of seeing it wag, but you controlled yourself. You grabbed a hair brush off of Alastor's nightstand, posing like you had a microphone to your lips.

"Salutations~ Good to be back on the air!" You attempted in your best transatlantic accent. You snorted, fanning your face as you shrunk in on yourself," Hells, that was bad!"

You pretended to lean on your imaginary cane, a hand to your chest as you belted out," Alastor, pleasure to be meeting you sweetheart, QUITE the pleasure! Have you heard of my podcast~?"

"As a matter of fact, I have~" You froze as a slow clap came from the doorway, a shit eating grin on the Radio Demon's face," Dare I say, I'm a huge fan of yours~" He perfectly mimicked your voice, a slight static over the intonation of your cadence. You squeaked as Alastor strode towards you, eyes filled with a prideful glee.

"Dear, if you really wanted to impersonate me... you should really do something about this posture!" Back to his normal tone, you nearly shrieked as Alastor's hands grabbed your hips. He angled them back slightly as he kissed the crown of your head. His hands slid up your body, making you gasp and writhe between them and their wake. He took hold of your wrists, hands loose but firm in their grip. The both of you looked into the mirror, your face warm at the sight of Alastor towering over you.

"Much better, dear... much better~" he practically purred in your ear, your breath becoming a distant thought. You had effectively forgot how to breathe. And Alastor would have been content with the teasing... if your hips didn't meet his own.

"I wonder... how do you sound when you moan my name...?"

You gasp as Alastor ground against your ass, a shocked mewl escaping you.

"Let's find out~"

hsdfhshdf i'm honored hello??? oh, hmmm.... let me think.... this is an interesting prompt.... 🧐 i haven't fully listened to his voicelines and read all of his stories, but from what i do know...

cw. yandere, possibly ooc boothill, gn!reader but mostly assumed you're an organic life

.... i think the very core of yan!boothill would be that he's afraid of losing you and therefore wants to protect you at all cost, first and foremost.

mostly because of what he's experienced in the past (he's even worse if you and him have a child or if there's a child figure in the equation). i'd anchor on that vulnerability and make it a catalyst upon his exponentially overbearing behaviour.

i personally think he's not the kind of yandere who would ever hurt you physically. restraints, perhaps, but only when it's his last resort. he would be the type that treats you like glass... especially if you're an organic life of sorts (feels weird to describe it as that but hsr has intellitrons and sentient machines so yk). he's also more on the simple-minded sort, and he's in touch with his emotional side, too ー so i don't see him ever consciously try to play the mind games™️ with you. if anything, you should be able to somewhat manipulate him into allowing yourself some reprieve from his overbearing tendencies if you play your cards right.

due to his constitution, he's very much into skinship, and he makes sure to store the mapping of your body into his equivalent of SSDs, along with all the other important information about you. so don't ever think he wouldn't realize it if you get even the slightest bruise; he will. and he'll fuss about it until it's healed, no matter how much reassurance you give him.

and god forbid someone hurts you in front of him ー it doesn't matter where or when or who, doesn't matter if it's intentional or unintentional, they're getting a bullet to their vitals.

this man loves the feeling of your warm skin against his cold, metal chassis, but knowing that you can bleed and die drives him insane. i think, every time he cradles you close, he can't decide if the way your heart beats inside your body calms him or frightens him. the fragility of life haunts him, ever present at the back of his mind like a reaper's scythe ready to swing down, yet he can't help but feel drawn to you anyway.

another branch of possibility would be him putting you into some kind of machine or whateverthing that would last forever (perhaps portable too so he can bring you everywhere ᰔᩚ). but then again, i think he would only go down this path when he's absolutely cornered, like if he realizes he was about to lose you (e.g. you're dying right before his eyes and there's no saving you).

tldr, i think he would be a nice yandere to be stuck with, overall! just be aware that he's a wanted man, and you might end up being crammed into a supercomputer or some sort when you die, but hey, doesn't sound that bad, right? :3

i really wanna hear more about the 2ps possessing their 1ps?? do they swap bodies or does their original body just go limp?

a) it's not quite a "body swap." the phrase i've used in past writings for it is "overwriting." i think "suppression" would also be appropriate. the 1ps are, if all goes to plan, "put to sleep". they essentially become a repressed memory. oliver set it up like this because he didn't want the 1p nations trying to constantly win back their body. even so, some nations put up a real fight as they're overwritten (and maybe even a little after if they're strong/stubborn enough... ahem ahem america) italy is not one of them though, partially because 2p italy got him in his sleep.

b) yeah they just go limp lol . they're empty husks, now. free meat. england would try a bite if it canada would let him

For context, before anything else, I myself am a lesbian.

Alright. So I don't quite know how to explain it, but Hualian really just has lesbian vibes. At least to me.

Being a lesbian is a lot of: "You girls must be such good friends!" "Do your boyfriends know you're here?" "How come I never see you two apart?" "Haha, two girls kissing? They must be best friends."

And look. Listen.

Hualian is constantly having people be like "You two must be such great friends!" from most of the other heavenly officials (until later on).

Xie Lian and San Lang at Puqi Village getting the "where's your wives?" every .5 seconds.

Xie Lian is constantly asked/talked about with "where's YOUR crimson rain sought flower?" or "If you are here, Crimson Rain is not far behind".

THEY KISS SO MUCH AND MOSTLY GET LOUDLY TOLD "there's other ways to exchange spiritual power!"

Also, there's something inherently powerful about a queer couple.

Being queer creates a space outside the norm. That unites us so much.

And it just feels like Hualian are the most lesbian-coded gay man couple I have seen in a long, long time.

FYI:

I do not think Phineas and Isabella will “break up” or anything of that nature in the new seasons.

At most, Isabella’s crush might take a backseat to some of her other character traits such as her being a leader, her snarky side, etc. Similarly to how they wrote her in Candace Against the Universe. They chose to explore other aspects of her character in the limited runtime of movie, which I fully support. But now they’ll have two full seasons, I highly doubt her crush won’t come up in some aspect.

The pnf writers know phinbella is a popular ship they would not sabotage it. I also suspect we might see Phineas’s side of things more, since the original show was lacking in that regard (and I suspect the crew have seen some of our critiques of “Act Your Age” and will not want to repeat that).

if you see me posting sad phinbella breakup content! that’s an au!! I don’t want them to “break up” in the show (I put “break up” in air quotes bc it’s unlikely we will see post-relationship phinbella in the show at all). I just think breakup head canons are neat and interesting to explore. There’s the canon timeline, then my chfil timeline (spoilers: they aren’t going to break up!!), then my breakup timeline. And then allllll the other timelines from other fic writers!

I can tag the breakup content if anyone would prefer not to see it! bc I would like to post more haha.
