how would rose react to this. because i really really wanna know!!!!!! and the way these two have a little bit of similarities (i think) it would be very interesting to see it play out! what are your thoughts?

Devastated actually, it wouldn't last long though because Rose is the king of repression. They'd shove it down almost as soon as it bubbled up.

Rose doesn't want to lose but they also don't want to be directly responsible for the death of someone they actually like.

So either Rose dies or they feel guilty because they perceive winning as basically murder(because the only reason the other contestant dies is because technically they did better and was liked more). So rose is like "either option is awful so I might as well tryhard this competition"

they think, well I feel guilty but at least I'll be alive to be guilty about it.

Rose mostly sings those types of songs that sound really upbeat until you listen to the lyrics and realize "hmm, this subject matter is really dark actually" so she's probably going to channel all the awful emotion into that.

(sidenote: the second tag was supposed to be "Rose has rose hair pin accessories in her hair in most of her stage outfits" but I horribly misspelled it so it's deleted. Just pretend it's still there in between the first two tags.
