Fun Fact: I designed costumes for a production of Heathers back in 2017 and one of the little Easter eggs I snuck in was that, during the entire second act, JD had a tiny prop pistol in the pocket if his trenchcoat. In addition to all the other prop guns he got to carry around.
Only I and the actor ever knew about it too.
