Since it's been a little while since I've done a "Ben 10" drawing, I thought I should do one of perhaps the most iconic alien of the series: Heatblast. ^_^ I hope you enjoy this fiery character and I'm actually quite proud of how the flames turned out. Enjoy! ^_^<3<3<3

i started watching alien force and its ok i still like the og ben 10 more, like its supposed to be them in the future, but ben doesnt act or really look like the classic ben, and i get it you can change as you get older, but i miss the silly guy

its probably because i love the classic ben 10 show the most but ya know

also i don't quite enjoy that kevin just kinda went onto the good guys side so quickly but i also havent been hyperfixating on ben 10 long enough to watch all the shows (i just started watching AF), so maybe theres another reason besides he liked gwen

i dont HATE alien force, i just prefer ben 10 classic more, no hate to people who do like ben 10 AF [[:

I watched all of Ben 10 and it has infiltrated my brain, here are my takes on the og 10.

Friend of mine suggested me to make a horror tone based artwork. So, I thought of mixing that with AlienX from Ben10.

Heres a neat idea i got for pyronites and doodled a while back

I was thinking about how Bigchill is both cold resistant because hes already cold, and also heat resistant because his coldness protects him from heat.

Heatblast on the other hand, is weak to cold (or water that puts out his fire) and it got me thinking about the bigchill logic doesnt apply to heatblast, so to pryonites its probably really cold for them to be on any climate that we consider normal

So i thought "ooh, what if the fire we see is just them keeping warm in our climates that are cold to them, but on their planet theyre not on fire at all." We've seen bens fire be put out several times in the series, but hes always been emitting some kind of fire

So i thought what if theyre semi-fleshy freaks under that glow and we just never see it hueheh. I think im quite fond of this idea because heatblast as a fire alien isnt really someone you imagine to have flesh. But like, what if...
