not to stomp on anyone’s fun but i’ve gotten very irritated with this yearning for future holidays and like—you’ll continue to be disharmonious with the seasons if you’re always waiting for summer to be over or winter to be over etc etc. and the capitalization doesn’t help anyone because of course you get excited for halloween when stores are stocking it in june but in the long run it’s no help. it’s summer. embrace that it’s summer. the earth will tell u when she’s ready to move
