Hello! i'm HB, my main account is @honey-skulls , and welcome to me shoving my hyperfixation into other fandoms

This is a super paper mario inspired clangen file. All the starting cats are the main hero and villains. though having to know the story of the game is not needed, as it's only referenced

I wanted to get this out of warriors, and ended up creating its own world with its own roles and religion etc. I will try to give information about it through the comic, but feel free to ask questions to the characters orme about how things work!

Some extra info:

-Feel free to send ask to the characters of HeartClan! i highly encourage it and will draw answers!

- I'm on the dev version, which means that i have access to the code in detail. All the starting cats where modified to fit their characters as much as possible, from their pelt and personalities, to their skill and starting relationships with each other

-The story will end and i will stop playing once all the starting main characters have passed

-If a main character dies a "bland" death such as a sickness between moons, or a basic wild animal attack in a patrol for example, i'm restarting to the last save. Secondary characters do not get this though

-I try to make all the other cats other Mario characters, but i'm only giving them their pelts and personalities, no "goombella remembers going on an adventure with Mario before the clangen" for example

-I'm doing this entirely for fun. I'm disabled and suffering from burnout, as well as in art school. Don't expect a schedule for new pages, or high quality, this is just a fun side project

And if anyone is curious about our other neighbors, at 46 moons: FloodClan has 38, WingClan has 40 and HeartClan only has 16 active members, so they aren't doing so hot rn.

The Clans in the area worship six gods.  Every cat chooses their patron god upon becoming an apprentice, and they will follow this god for the rest of their life.  The Clans named themselves after parts of an owl; TalonClan, WingClan, FeatherClan, HeartClan, and BeakClan.  Each Clan has a Guide, a cat meant to interpret signs and omens from the gods.  Traditionally a Guide doesn’t choose a patron, but some do so anyways.

Strix - The god of vast spaces, protection, sanctuary, instincts, and intuition.  His name comes from the Strix genus of owls, including owls such as wood, tawny, spotted, barred, himalayan, desert, banded, and great grey owls. Titles; > Thorned Heart > Snapping Beak > Lord Strix

Athene - The goddess of the day, courage, war, fire, medicine, and sickness.  She’s believed to be the sun herself.  Her name comes from the Athene genus, containing the little, burrowing, forest, malaita, and makira owls. Titles; > Sun Claws > Burning Eyes > Lady Athene

Bubo - The god of change, transformation, metamorphosis, frost, snow, and ice.  His name is from the Bubo genus with horned, eagle, snowy, and fish owls. Titles; > Thousand Faces > Icy Wings > Lord Bubo

Aegolius - The god of luck, skill, risk, competence, promises, and threats.  His name comes from the Aegolius genus of owls, with the boreal and saw-whet owls. Titles; > Stone Talons > Whispering Winds > Lord Aegolius

Tyto - The goddess of the night, justice, vengeance, dreams, nightmares, and the afterlife.  She’s believed to be the literal moon and night sky, and is the one to have cast the Cavernous Curse upon TalonClan.  Her name comes from the Tyto genus, containing masked, grass, sooty, red, and barn owls. Titles; > Moon-faced > Star Feathers > Lady Tyto

Phodilus - The goddess of rain, the ocean, hunting, fear, and love.  Her name comes from the Phodilus genus, which has only two species of bay owls. Titles; > Monsoon Flight > Two Songs > Lady Phodilus

Year 2 of RavenClan and I'm already on two pages of cats. I will now also mention that mass extinction events are on but none have happened yet.

I think the biggest change is the leader and deputy. Redcrackle and his patrol noticed some HeartClan kits playing near the border and when he tried to return them a HeartClan patrol misunderstood and attacked him. He did not survive the encounter.

He was succeeded by Slipcrackle, his former apprentice. And then Snipstar fell off a cliff, losing all of his lives at once.

Strangely enough, this might have actually saved the newly named Slipstar's life as he was in the medicine den with a broken bone at the time which took a life almost immediately after becoming leader.

He then lost another after falling out of a tree.

Now for the apprentices, all six of them are Milksplinter's kits from a single litter. I'm surprised they all survived for this long.

And I renamed one of the kittens because:

Glintquake why did you name two of your kits like this.

One cat was taken by twolegs this year, Pantherpaw is still missing as of the end of the year. Here he is:

Now for some extra little things:

Sootheart, the new deputy, has had two of his apprentices die before completing their training. The third, Ebonyblotch, is the only one who made it to adulthood.

There are three medicine cats (well one is an apprentice) and all of them are unable to work

You can't see the full name in the screenshot but Nightingales' full name is Nightingalescar and I don't know why because he doesn't have a scar???

There seems to be a thing where apprentices either become warriors early or late (like a good few moons late) instead of most being at 12 moons.

Moon 1

lots of things happening this moon!!

firstly, Greypaw earns his warrior name of Greychaser! He was honored for his spirit. He was influenced by Rimeroar to have a more positive outlook, to be more eager to start a fight, and to be a better teacher! His personality is now "adventurous" and his traits are now "great teacher and good mediator"

next, Ryestar decides that the brand new warrior is the perfect candidate for being a mentor, y'know, rather than his own deputy. Riftpaw becomes an apprentice under Greychaser's tutelage, but Greychaser doesn't feel ready yet...

Riftpaw's personality has shifted to "strict", but she's kept her trait of being oddly observant!

Greychaser decides to take Riftpaw out on a border patrol to get her more familiar with the territory, but on their patrol they encounter an old loner with a mangled leg! The loner asks for help, and Greychaser, out of his depth and panicking a little, takes him back to camp to be cared for. Hoperipple, a cold senior tom that's a beloved kitsitter and a great mediator, has joined the clan!

Other happenings include:

Ryestar takes Fuzzypaw out hunting and she successfully catches a mouse!

Petuniafoot takes Bushrustle on a trip to gather lungwort, and they gather plenty of it! Petunia is relieved, as they had been worried after a long winter

Rimeroar, on a solo patrol, discovers a Heartclan apprentice has wandered into the territory! He understands it was a mistake, but still gives the apprentice a firm lecture as he escorts them back to their territory

Petuniafoot, deciding to be a hater, says that Greychaser never does anything helpful and that Riftpaw is wasting their time and being a nuisance. They really hate Riftpaw, for whatever reason... Greychaser assures his apprentice that Petuniafoot is just being annoying.

Now I don’t believe I’m close to portraying blood and violence right, there are people who don’t like that kind of stuff. If you’re that kind of person, this post isn’t for you. Come back some other time. Again, can’t promise I’m doing blood right or ‘good’, but y’know.

" I don't care what your reason is! You killed my father. One of the only cats I was closest to! And I will never forgive you for that. " I don't think I draw that much blood, and I think I should. October's only in a few months anyway, so that's an even better reason to start doing more of it. (Although who says I’m stopping at October? I don’t care, screw October. Every month is spooky month, and a great time to draw some blood.) Anyway. . . So I always had the idea for any characters born near the same time as Bee to be at least acquaintances. But you know, some good ol' drama couldn't hurt. Besides, it would be kinda boring if Bee has the same relationship with everyone in her generation she meets, don'tcha think? Yes, so, about the  " You killed my father " thing, basically the only thing I knew about Beesting's dad's death before the idea to make this was that he was killed in battle by a cat from FlightClan. But I didn't know who it was. However, recently I figured that if Beesting ever found out who killed her father, she'd throw hands (or paws, whatever). And since Thrushflight is from FlightClan . . . Basically, while Bee was off being a kittypet and grieving the loss of a family member who died previously, Snowleopard (her dad) was slain in a battle like I said, which made her feel guilty about running off once she found out. Could she maybe have prevented that had she not been so foolish as to run away from home for four months? She took his death hard, even going as far as to try to dig up his grave in denial that he was dead (she was stopped thankfully). Other than Ashpelt and her best friends at the time, Snowleopard was one of the cats closest to her, and with him gone as well, it made her fall into a bit of a depression. And so of course, she wanted to know who was responsible for the death of her dad. I'm not sure if anycat knew who did it or not yet, but if she did hear Thrushflight did it from a cat in her Clan, it would probably be Wolfheart, who was Snowleopard's apprentice at the time. If he went to the battle, chances are he'd recognize the FlightClan tom in the battle. Since he's also acquainted with Thrush. (Here's a fun idea: If he were in this picture, he'd probably be silently cheering Beesting on, because he's still salty over the death of his mentor. And that thought makes me smirk a little inside.) But if Bee doesn't find out from anyone in HeartClan, Thrushflight fesses up when he sees her at the gathering, and tries to explain himself. My idea is that first of all, he was in a battle. He has to fight his opponent no matter who it is. Snowleopard was older than him, and with more experience, and so he had to fight back if he didn't wanna be seriously hurt at the very least. Secondly, it might be possible that depending on when this was, that this was kind of his chance to prove he was worthy enough to be a warrior (not that he was a bad apprentice or anything). I mean, if you found out an apprentice in your Clan fought an older and experienced enemy cat all on his own, wouldn't you reward them too? That wasn't just the reason though, he was also old enough to be a warrior by the time, and the victory of the battle was kind of a bonus. Still, he knew he killed someone who was looked up to by two of his HeartClan friends. Wolfheart (then Wolfpaw. Beesting and her friends are about a moon younger than Thrush, so Thrush became a warrior first) was easy to tell. And by easy, I mean he was the one that wasn't away for four moons being a house cat. And, well, he didn't take that well at all. Although I do think he'd forgive him at one point. That only left one other cat to tell, but Bee had currently been away for a while, and would still take at least one or two moons before she returned. By that time, Thrushflight might have already accepted that he was only defending himself, and figured Beesting would understand (She was Beepaw at the time though. The HeartClan leader thought it was only fair that she stayed an apprentice for four moons to make up for her time gone). If she's told by someone in her Clan that Thrush did it, the next gathering she goes to, she would attack him right off the bat. But if she wasn't told so prior, Thrush would try to explain to her why he did what he did, and she would be done listening at " I killed your father ". Ever since she heard someone killed him, she didn't care what reason he had. Unfortunately, she didn't share the same mindset as Thrushflight about self-defense and only saw a friend who betrayed her, and took away someone very dear to her. The reason they both don't end up tearing eachother apart completely is because they were pulled off of eachother. And of course, they both got in trouble for it, especially when that fight pretty much ended the gathering. Beesting got punished more though as the one who started it. And that's the start of the souring relationships between her and other indivisuals! Probably. Sidenote, I love how two of the four background cats are kinda just like " woa ", and the other two look so surprized and worried. It's even funnier, considering two of them later on become either Beesting or Thrushflight's mates later on (Kindheart obviously, and Hollysong, who is the half black and half white cat on the top panel.), and the other two both become leaders of their Clans later on (Rabbit'tail/star on the top panel, and Dustfire/star on the bottom one). That's just funny to me. Also, if they look a bit weird . . . I apologize. I made the mistake of not drawing the whole body and stopping the lineart where Bee and Thrush's lineart begin, and that meant when I blurred the background cats, it looked weird, and I didn't wanna redraw them. So I stretched them to fit better. Final note, about the scars: Some of them might become a part of their designs. I quite like the idea of both of them keeping a constant reminder of what they both did to eachother.
