Petuniafoot (they/them. 93 moons. medic, daring, good mediator and good kitsitter)

Rimeroar (he/him. 49 moons. warrior. cold, good kitsitter and good mediator)

Greypaw (he/him. 11 moons. apprentice, mentor is Rimeroar. oblivious, quick to help and quick to make peace)

Fuzzypaw (she/her. 9 moons. apprentice, mentor is Ryestar. troublesome, confident with words)

Riftkit (she/her. 5 moons. kit. daydreamer, oddly observant)

we also have our Starclan Guide, Shrewstar!

(she/her, 94 moons in life and 12 moons in death. former leader. childish, a good kitsitter and a great mediator. I'm also word-of-goding it and saying that she's Petuniafoot's sister for the drama and since they look alike)

Now, as this is the first moon, not much happens! The following occurred this moon:

Ryestar and Fuzzypaw train together, and Ryestar tells Fuzzypaw about an embarassing moment he had as an apprentice. It makes Fuzzy feel more comfortable and less rigid around him

Bushrustle, Rimeroar, and Greypaw go hunting at dusk, but don't catch anything. Greypaw gets lost but finds his way back

Petuniafoot is craving shrew... how curious. Surely nothing to do with his deceased sister and Starclan guide for the clan Shrewstar, right?

Co-Star

Co-Star is a Western astrology app. It is entirely free except for if you would like to “ask the void” a question. You have to buy questions for that.

You enter your birth date and time and it calculates your birth chart and gives you daily updates. You can click on each update to see the astrological explanation behind it.

There is also a friends and partner function but I have never used it haha

Discord

Most people already know about Discord. It is typically used as a messaging and video call app. But I like to use it for my prayer journal.

I made a private server with nobody in it and made a separate channel for each deity’s prayer journal. It works very nicely and I can access it on any device that can use Discord.

There is also a witchcraft Discord bot called Cabot, which includes tarot, 8-ball, coin flips, moon phases, and other features. It is entirely free :)

Freeform

Freeform is an app built in to iOS devices. It’s an infinite canvas app where you can insert text, drawings, pictures, and stickers.

I personally use it for my digital altars!

Labyrinthos

Labyrinthos is an app that helps you learn tarot! It includes reversals as well. There are a few different decks available within the app.

You can also pull a daily tarot card (or a three card spread).

Moon Calendar

Moon Calendar is an app that helps you keep track of the phases of the moon. It also tells you about the magical correspondences of the moon phases, and which sign the moon is in.

Moonly

Moonly is an Eastern astrology app. It tells you about the moon phases and what sign the moon is in. It also tells you about conjunctions and if today is favorable for a haircut. It will also give you an Eastern astrology birth chart if you enter your birth date and time.

Pinterest

I use Pinterest for inspiration for my craft, but also to find photos for my digital altars. There is a large witchcraft and pagan community on Pinterest. I think it’s worth checking out.

Planetaro

Planetaro is an app that calculates the planetary hours for you! Incredibly useful. It has a widget you can put on your homescreen as well!

Smiling Mind

Smiling Mind is a guided meditation app. It has all kinds of meditations for all areas of life. Not necessarily a witchcraft or paganism app, but I know meditation is popular in both circles, so this may be helpful to someone.

Star Walk 2

Star Walk 2 is an astronomy AR app. You point it at the sky and see what constellations or planets you’re looking at! Very useful.

hi! welcome to ashenclan, a clangen blog run by @girlashfur. inspired by blogs like ashpaw-is-alone and fog-and-the-frost , this clan starts out with only 3 cats and no leader, deputy, or medicine cat. this blog gives moonly updates on the clan, but also functions as an askblog (when asks are on, sometimes i may turn them off if i'm getting overwhelmed).

i do not have a laptop, so this blog will be run based off of an outdated version of clangen, a mobile version released on github. it's kinda glitchy, but it's the best i have available to me at the moment.

#ashenlore is the tag for significant lore reveals about the clan or the story, #ashenasks is for asks all of you send, #ashenmoon is for updates each moon, and #ashenother is for any other miscellaneous type of post. be warned, this blog may go on hiatuses from time to time, or may have text-based only posts, since it's run by a visually impaired person who sometimes isn't able to draw correctly.

Two young loner kits manage to find each other after both fleeing from their old home in the city after a sickness overcame their families. They decide to join together and venture far enough to find a new home in the forest.

The two kits haven't yet discovered Starclan, so they rely on the forest to guide them.

firstly, Bushrustle was seen chasing a rogue off the territory! Way to go Mr. Ignored Deputy

this moon Riftpaw has been getting a lot of love! She gave Rimeroar advice that he knows will be good, wowed Ryestar with her bravery, and had a pleasant conversation with Greychaser! It seems everyone in Biteclan loves her!

...except Petuniafoot. It seems no matter what she does, they are always angry at her for something. This moon, it was a pretty feather they both wanted but ended up destroying in an argument over it.

This is leading to conflict in Riftpaw's apprenticeship. Whilst training together, Greychaser notices that Riftpaw isn't acting like her usual self, and asks what's wrong. Riftpaw breaks down and says she feels like a failure and that she isn't good enough. Greychaser comforts her, and tells her that she's more than her failures and that failure is just a chance to improve.

Welcome to the Whistling Caves!

Escaping into the mountainous regions, the Whistle Cave Cats earn their name as they navigate the caves and the mountains containing them. The open skies and mysterious atmosphere give them a stronger connection to the stars.

Whistleclan reside in the mountain caves, the winding caverns allow the spirits to speak as the wind blows through them, hence them being called the Whistling Caves.

Finchclan Introduction!

Hiii! I'm Buttercup (She/her) and this is my clangen blog, Finchclan!

Anyways, every moon I will post an update in short story form about the goings-on in Finchclan, and Allegiances will be updated every 50 moons. I'm slowly teaching myself how to draw, so I won't post art in moonly updates for just now, but if I ever get to a place where I think I'm good enough to do so I'll let you know.

Asks are open to talk to any of the Finchclan cats or just ask me questions, feel free to submit fics/fanart too, everything is much appreciated!

Updates will be tri-weekly, on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, but I will be active all week to answer asks!
