Moon 2

firstly, Bushrustle was seen chasing a rogue off the territory! Way to go Mr. Ignored Deputy

this moon Riftpaw has been getting a lot of love! She gave Rimeroar advice that he knows will be good, wowed Ryestar with her bravery, and had a pleasant conversation with Greychaser! It seems everyone in Biteclan loves her!

...except Petuniafoot. It seems no matter what she does, they are always angry at her for something. This moon, it was a pretty feather they both wanted but ended up destroying in an argument over it.

This is leading to conflict in Riftpaw's apprenticeship. Whilst training together, Greychaser notices that Riftpaw isn't acting like her usual self, and asks what's wrong. Riftpaw breaks down and says she feels like a failure and that she isn't good enough. Greychaser comforts her, and tells her that she's more than her failures and that failure is just a chance to improve.

other happenings this moon include:

Petuniafoot gathers cobwebs on patrol

Ryestar leads a hunting patrol with Fuzzypaw and Rimeroar, and Fuzzypaw easily catches another mouse!

Bushrustle goes on a solo hunting patrol, wanting some time to himself, and catches a prairie dog!

Moon 1

lots of things happening this moon!!

firstly, Greypaw earns his warrior name of Greychaser! He was honored for his spirit. He was influenced by Rimeroar to have a more positive outlook, to be more eager to start a fight, and to be a better teacher! His personality is now "adventurous" and his traits are now "great teacher and good mediator"

next, Ryestar decides that the brand new warrior is the perfect candidate for being a mentor, y'know, rather than his own deputy. Riftpaw becomes an apprentice under Greychaser's tutelage, but Greychaser doesn't feel ready yet...

Riftpaw's personality has shifted to "strict", but she's kept her trait of being oddly observant!

Greychaser decides to take Riftpaw out on a border patrol to get her more familiar with the territory, but on their patrol they encounter an old loner with a mangled leg! The loner asks for help, and Greychaser, out of his depth and panicking a little, takes him back to camp to be cared for. Hoperipple, a cold senior tom that's a beloved kitsitter and a great mediator, has joined the clan!

Other happenings include:

Ryestar takes Fuzzypaw out hunting and she successfully catches a mouse!

Petuniafoot takes Bushrustle on a trip to gather lungwort, and they gather plenty of it! Petunia is relieved, as they had been worried after a long winter

Rimeroar, on a solo patrol, discovers a Heartclan apprentice has wandered into the territory! He understands it was a mistake, but still gives the apprentice a firm lecture as he escorts them back to their territory

Petuniafoot, deciding to be a hater, says that Greychaser never does anything helpful and that Riftpaw is wasting their time and being a nuisance. They really hate Riftpaw, for whatever reason... Greychaser assures his apprentice that Petuniafoot is just being annoying.

first moon time!! Let's meet our clan:

Ryestar (he/him. 109 moons. leader, confident, incredibly clever and an incredible runner)

Bushrustle (he/him. 37 moons. deputy, cold, good speaker and good fighter)

Petuniafoot (they/them. 93 moons. medic, daring, good mediator and good kitsitter)

Rimeroar (he/him. 49 moons. warrior. cold, good kitsitter and good mediator)

Greypaw (he/him. 11 moons. apprentice, mentor is Rimeroar. oblivious, quick to help and quick to make peace)

Fuzzypaw (she/her. 9 moons. apprentice, mentor is Ryestar. troublesome, confident with words)

Riftkit (she/her. 5 moons. kit. daydreamer, oddly observant)

we also have our Starclan Guide, Shrewstar!

(she/her, 94 moons in life and 12 moons in death. former leader. childish, a good kitsitter and a great mediator. I'm also word-of-goding it and saying that she's Petuniafoot's sister for the drama and since they look alike)

Now, as this is the first moon, not much happens! The following occurred this moon:

Ryestar and Fuzzypaw train together, and Ryestar tells Fuzzypaw about an embarassing moment he had as an apprentice. It makes Fuzzy feel more comfortable and less rigid around him

Bushrustle, Rimeroar, and Greypaw go hunting at dusk, but don't catch anything. Greypaw gets lost but finds his way back

Petuniafoot is craving shrew... how curious. Surely nothing to do with his deceased sister and Starclan guide for the clan Shrewstar, right?

hey btw I'm not gonna do art or comic updates here, moon updates will be in text and art may be posted separately, emphasis on "may". I haven't been feeling well physically or mentally, and I don't want to push myself to do art when I'm not feeling up to it.

hello welcome to cat hell. this is a clangen blog ran by @enteragoodnamehere (it/its)!

Our current clan is Biteclan, which could be our only clan or could be one of many, we'll see when we get there!!

The updates will be in text format (recounting the events of the moon) with occasional in-game images to go along with them. This is just because I've been feeling bad lately and I don't want to make anything worse, + it makes it easier for the future when I have to go back to school.

Gameplay rules will be as follows:

playing on expanded mode

map is The Tunnels

mass extinction events turned off

dead cats may fade away

Cats can breed with cats that aren't their mates, but the second parent must be known (no unknown second parents)

Pregnancy follows biology but same-sex adoption is increased

No romantic relationships between former apprentices/mentors or first cousins allowed

Deputy choosing is manual

Warriors and medics can choose to become mediators if they want
