Gym Headcanons - Lisa & Ningguang x Male!Reader
A/N: I hope you'll like this one! All the others WIPs are staring daggers at me though... CW: Nothing notable.
Going to a gym? Lisa will pass, thank you.
All the sweat and all the effort could, if she had to exert herself at all, go towards other things than gaining muscles. What would she use them for anyway? Her strength doesn't come from raw, brutish power, but rather from her brilliance and knowledge.
For Lisa, getting some gains would be a bad thing as far as her appearance is concerned. She feels great as she is - of healthy weight with some delectable fluff on her belly, thighs and butt. A girl's got to have some meat on her bones, doesn't she? It's perfect for touching and resting your weary head on those plushy thighs. She won't ruin that especially since you're far from complaining about her assets.
Even if she won't train, Lisa will care for her diet, and will keep an eye on yours too if you ask her to. She'll buy more of her natural yogurts, fruits, granola and other healthy foodstuffs. You'll be in good hands - Lisa will buy you shakes and foods with lots of protein to help build that dazzling body of yours.
If at any point you find yourself tempted to cheat, she’ll gently remind you of your goal and help you resist.
She's a vegetarian herself, but will not, to any extent of the word, force her views upon you. She just dislikes the taste of meat, especially when it's fried. The heartburn she feels after is straight up awful. Still, she won't object to making you hearty meals with all the love she has. After all, she has all the time in the world.
Although she wouldn't ever come to the gym herself, it's different with you there. Lisa will gladly tag along to keep you company whenever she can. She won't hesitate to do her research, helping you in maintaining the proper position and form as you train. Need a break? She'll pass you the water and take away the weights (according to her ability). Feeling tired or bored? Lisa will be there, keeping a conversation or reading out loud to you - this way you train both your mind and your body. She'll get you whatever help she can offer.
Is she accompanying you to gawk at your bare chest, your tensing, sweaty muscles, hear your masculine groans of exertion as you lift inhuman weights and give it your all? See you doing what men do, pushing yourself to the limit to become bigger, better, faster and stronger? Perhaps. Is that an invalid reason? Not at all.
After a certain amount of these trips, the mage will start eyeing the exercise mats with increasing curiosity. Of course she wouldn't do any actually tiring exercises, but it wouldn't hurt to stretch a little, would it? Being flexible has a few uses Lisa can't think of, most of which involve you~
The first few times would render her limbs and joints crying in pain as years of “rust” come off. It would surely leave her grumpy the next day, but it's alright - you'll do your duty and massage her pains away, won’t you?
When going at them, Lisa likes to do stretches that let her poor back get some lovely relief. Every time she begins the cobra stretches of the day, she can't help but sigh in satisfaction. The first one's the best, no doubt about that. On the other hand, those exercises that require her to lean down are the cause of her pains rather than the relief. Toe touches aren't easy, and things like forward folds are the stuff of nightmares, the mere thought of which is enough to make her spine ache.
Ningguang isn't one to work out either. She’s on a strict diet, planned out for her by the best dietitian and cooked by the best chef Mora can buy. Each of her meals has its calories counted to the letter, and - should the situation demand it - Ningguang is capable of counting them herself. Even when there's no label, she's able to judge it with impressive accuracy.
It's thanks to this attentive lifestyle that she can flaunt her wasp waist. Even if a person's worth is more in merit than appearance, impeccable beauty can go a long way too. Oftentimes just her looks alone can charm an interlocutor, leading to favorable outcomes.
Eating this little has a downside, coming in the form of low energy levels. She can push pencils all day long, but even short jogs can find her out of breath after a while. Ningguang gets tired and sore fairly easily, making it no surprise that she avoids straining herself.
She avoids training, but that doesn't mean she simply sits around looking pretty. Each of her mansions is equipped with a rich and well stocked gym for use at yours and hers leisure. Before you came they were mostly gathering dust, but your interest in training reminded her of that purchase. It was nice to see they finally had a use.
Sometimes, on a slow day, Ningguang will bring out her sport gear and join you in the training room. Most of her time she'll do stretches or use the treadmill, since these don't increase muscle mass that much - the high class canon of beauty doesn't include muscle girls, nor does she see the appeal if truth is told. She's the Tianquan, not some… sea captain.
Besides, that would be threading on your territory. Why be muscular if you're the muscle man here? If you're strong, then she'll be swift and agile. Perfectly complementary, wouldn't you say?
When it comes to date ideas, a gym date is a unique one to be sure, but she doesn't mind. It gives both of you a chance to show off your hard earned physiques and spend some quality time together. Ningguang enjoys you spotting for her, even if she won't do the exercises by herself. The attention is always appreciated.
She wouldn't admit that to anyone, but she enjoys goofing around with you. Using her as a dumbbell or doing push-ups with her casually sitting on your back is both amusing and quite flustering - getting a first hand experience of your strength never fails to get her a little red. But don't tell anyone, or else…!
Sometimes when she needs to think, Ningguang visits you and simply enjoys your presence in silence. There's something hypnotic about you going about your business and the repetitive motions of the equipment. Many times she watched you in silence, only to mutter a silent ‘got it’ before getting up and thanking you with a kiss. Each time after she left the room you were left fairly confused. Confused, but happy to be of help nonetheless.

Jonathan
Jonathan Beck, a renowned fitness influencer with a massive social media following, had established himself as a fitness expert. With his app and monthly fitness columns, he was making a comfortable living. His expertise and popularity caught the attention of Men's Health magazine, who offered him a monthly column on fitness nutrition. Jonathan's first column focused on the carnivore diet, which he thoroughly enjoyed, especially the restaurant located right below his apartment. This restaurant happened to be one of the best meat joints in town, and the owner, Berney, greatly appreciated Jonathan's positive impact on his business. The success of Jonathan's monthly column led to an extension of his collaboration with Men's Health magazine. He even landed a cover shoot and an interview. Additionally, he was given the responsibility of creating monthly meal plans for the's magazine subscribers. But, a few weeks before his photoshoot, Jonathan noticed that his abs were slightly obscured by a layer of fat.
In a desperate attempt to prepare for the shoot, he resorted to a crash diet, a practice he never endorsed on his platform due to his belief in body positivity. Miraculously, the crash diet worked, and within three weeks, his abs were once again prominently visible in the photos.
With the increasing workload, Jonathan realized that he needed assistance with his own fitness program and social media. He hired a young fitness enthusiast, Mark, to help him manage his tasks. They decided to have weekly meetings at Berney's restaurant, which meant that Jonathan's visits became more elaborate. there's this article by veronica webb who used to model back in the 90s and it's very sobering. she talks about her diet which was no: sugar, dairy, wheat, alcohol. mostly veg and fruit, leafy greens and lean protein + 20 hours at the gym a week + smoking ciggs. and she would still go on a liquid diet before nyc fashion week. she looks incredible, but it is insane how some people would look at VS's angels will be like ''this is just health and moderation'', like no this is hard work for their job. cause looking this way, selling you the fantasy is their job. i mostly hear abot how easy it is to be this thin from men tho, i feel like most women have an idea
I think most adult women do know, but a lot of teenage girls don’t. Men fwiw are the same on men’s bodies. Adult men know full well that they’re not gonna look like the Chrises unless they work fuckkkkk hard at it but a lot of teenage boys do wonder why they don’t look like that even though they gym 3 times a week and play sportz at school and try eat “healthy” tbh. Also why a lot of teen boys go onto steroids - without even knowing what they're doing/consulting anyone - because they are angsting about not looking like that.
PS. Some people can be on those kinds of diets and not have an ED. They’re just doing them for work. It’s a job. We don’t always like our job. And some people might do that and like aspects of it but again not have an ED. Following something/having a plan doesn’t immediately mean you have an ED. If you’re terrified of gaining weight/plagued by guilt and have body dysmorphia *that* is an ED.

Samson was never happy with his body. Sure, he had the right amount of muscle definition in all the right places. He had just the right proportions in body and face. He looked like any model... And he hated all of it.

Samson talked with the team coach, intending to learn about building a workout schedule and diet for bulk gaining. The coach, however, was just about to get into a workout. He took a massive swig of the pinkish hued drink in his bottle, and let it a massive belch, proceeding to instruct Samson to talk to the team captain, Nicky, to get sorted.
Samson went deeper into the locker room, hoping to find Nicky soon so he could get started on his workout right away. However, as he heard wet slapping sounds and men giggling from the running showers ahead, Samson watched a thick muscled man emerge from the hot steam.
On instinct, Samson began to say "Hello, do you know where I can find Nic-" as his gaze scanned down the man's barrel-like torso, thick tight gut, and finally settling in the man's turgid, throbbing cock. After the odd encounter with the decidedly bold team captain, Samson finally got into his workout, and after a couple hours, decided he'd done well for the day, packed up, and got in the car to drive home.
Before calling it a day, however, Samson wanted to sort out his meal plan and training schedule with Nicky, so he texted the beefy athlete trying not to think of his ever-drooling wang. Before long, he was headed over to Nicky's house with a bag of burritos, per request.
Samson rung the doorbell, waiting for the hunk to appear and praying that he would be wearing at least underwear.

"Here, man, take a hit. It'll rock your world" Nicky said, with a gint in his eye as he passed the bong over to Samson, slumping back in the couch as he did so.
Not wanting to be rude, and wanting to take a load of himself decided to take the invitation for a smoke-sesh from his apparently nearly-nudist team captain. As he sat down on the couch, he let the smoke curl deep in his lungs.
***BBBBBBBABABABRRRRRAAPAPAPALRRRURURURTTTTTTSSSSSSSHHHRRRPAPtttttrrararapppptt*** "DAMN, I've been holding that one back since you showed up!" Nicky exclaimed, suddenly letting a massive eruption out of his rear. "I was about ready to pop off you hit that thing any later..."
Meanwhile, Samson was lost in the sauce as the smoke curled through his body and mind. The tendrils of thick cloud worked their way into Samson's mind where they found his deepest wishes. Samson wanted to be big, and heavy, and gassy, and sexy like his team captain, still lounging in his briefs while dropping his guts.
Suddenly a warm sensation filled Samson's chest as the bong began pulling his desires into reality.
As the cloud of smoke did its work, Samson felt a growing weight and pressure on his gut. He felt as though the warm smoke were coaxing his body to swell. Soon his stomach began to feel stretched as the weight continued to pile up.
He felt the tendrils of smoke curl around his arms as well and felt their bulk increase with muscle and fat.
Samson had taken off his shirt at some point he couldn't quite remember. He sat their topless on Nicky's couch, watching his belly inflate, not quite able to distinguish that this is reality yet.
Still the tendrils worked their way down around his ass and thighs, and though Samson hadn't realized yet, his endowment was being improved in his drug induced stupor.
As Samson started to regain his senses, finally through the external changes, he felt the smoke in his body begin to shift as well. It drifted down into Samson's stomach and intestines, and there it filled his guts with a gurgling, groaning rumble that would constantly brew an obnoxious stream of rancid gas from deep inside Samson's guts: guts that now craved egregious amounts of fast food and the intense gastrointestinal distress that would be sure to follow above all else. As his stomach gave a hungry roar, Samson tore into the bag of burritos, ravenously inhaling all four (two of which were just beans and cheese, as orchestrated by Nicky) in moments. He could feel his guts bubbling and boiling and bloating immediately, and he watched in delight as his belly continued to distend.

so, as i write this, yes, i don’t feel negative about it (if anything… you want the truth? i don’t feel fat enough. it’s not like i’m lazy or sedentary, anyway: i’m gonna eat a big slice of apple pie with ice cream and whipped cream right now and then all my mom’s cookies, and everyone obsessed with dieting—and covering up—can die mad about it).

Blog Post 4: Looking back to move forward.
This week I’m remembering the why. I truly believe your willpower will only be as strong as your why. So, I’m taking you back to my why, which takes us back almost six years to the birth of my second son. It was a beautiful day, when He was born with His big brown eyes and brown hair making me the proud mom of two healthy boys. Except I still remember the nurse coming in every hour and pricking my youngest son’s feet. It was horrible. I was tired, He was tired, my husband was tired, and all I wanted to do was sleep, but the nurse had to check His blood sugar.
Why? Well because I had gestational diabetes all during the pregnancy leading up to the birth of my second son. My Dad had triple bypass surgery about three years ago, His mom had type 2 diabetes and later developed Alzheimer’s, and my aunt has type two diabetes as well. The gene pool clearly wasn’t flowing in my favor and the sickness seemed to trickle right down to me. The symptoms were low mood and a lack of energy, but I was mom. So, I chalked it up to job description. I mean, all moms are exhausted right? Apparently, these were warning signs of what was to come, I just didn’t know that at the time.
I ate sugar free chocolate pudding every day after dinner to curb my sweet tooth in a healthy way and took walks when my sugar was especially elevated. After I had my son, and after the heartache of hearing Him cry when the nurse checked His blood sugar, I moved on with life, sweets, and all. But a couple years ago I was diagnosed with chronic gastritis and acid reflux. So, this is when I became a vegan. I let go of the meats and cheeses, filled up the fridge with vegetables, and watched many documentaries about how diet is connected to overall health. My favorite documentary is still “What the Health” by Kip Anderson. In this documentary, Kip uncovers the secret to reversing chronic diseases.
After years of living a vegan lifestyle and seeing the health benefits including clear skin, good digestion, and overall increase in energy, I began to get lax in my efforts and became a vegetarian, and now I eat meat again. The point is that those habits are only as effective as my ability to maintain these healthy eating choices consistently and over a long period of time. Now I am focusing on eating healthy foods overall. I’m pulling back out those old but loved vegan recipes including crispy tofu with quinoa and steak seasoned zucchini. I even put some of the candy from my Christmas bag into the communal candy pile for someone else to devour. This may sound small to you, but it’s a big deal for me.
I said no to Super Bowl brownies and key lime cake last night, as well as all the diet sodas that I used to love. My favorite soda used to be cherry coke zero. The point is that Americans, myself included, consume too much sugar. I know I did, and I now must come up with a game plan to leave the sugar where it needs to stay, on the shelf for special occasions. According to the American Heart Association Americans on average consume 20 teaspoons of sugar per day while the recommended daily amount of sugar is 6 teaspoons for women and 9 teaspoons for men. Beverages make up most of our sugar consumption at a whopping 47% which include soft drinks, sports drinks, energy drinks, coffee, and tea. The second leading cause of excess sugar comes from snacks and sweets at 31%.
The point is, sugar consumption has gotten way out of control, especially in the United States, and we need to be aware of the risks associated with excess sugar which include chronic inflammation, tooth decay, acne, advanced skin aging, weight gain and obesity, diabetes and insulin resistance, cardiovascular disease, high blood pressure, brain loss, cancer, and premature death. Sugar though sweet can be deadly. It’s recommended by John Hopkins Medicine that we avoid sodas and other sugar sweetened beverages, reach for fruits instead of candy, cookies, or other sweet treats, read ingredient labels, and watch for sugar aliases. As it turns out, smoothies with no added sugar still taste sweet because that’s how they are made naturally. If we stop and think before we run to the sweets isle, in the future we will be happy with the choices we make.
