my special skill is that i'm not afraid of emails. in fact i vastly prefer sending emails because i can do it whenever i have time... the alternative is usually making phone calls, and the phone call times are pretty much always work hours at work days, AKA the SAME TIME AS WHEN I'M AT SCHOOL!!!! this really sucks if the only time i have the opportunity to sit down and do Important Paperwork Stuff is the weekend or the evenings!!! I should be able to talk to an actual human being rather than try to fight your broken portal that doesn't work right and even if I do make it work it takes days for an actual human to get back to me with the thing I need

It kind of cracks me up that I found out I had Celiac disease from a voicemail-- and that was the exact opposite of what my medical providers had intended. At the bloodwork appointment, I had opted in to "receive normal results over voicemail." So when the office called and didn't say my results were normal, but instead left a vague message to call them back for my results, I knew exactly what the result was 🙃

My name is Quintin-Cedar, I'm 19 and I have diagnosed adhd and depression, I'm pretty sure I'm autistic,and I use a cane to get around sometimes

I currently work in healthcare, though it feels weird to call it that tbh, when I think of healthcare I think of nurses and such. But I assist and advocate for people with disabilities in their day to day life

I'm big into video games, usually indie games like Undertale and Stardew, but also bigger games like the Forrest and Portal.

starting to actually Get the concept of like. putting spikes on your jacket. i've spent any number of years now being like. noooo i can't put up armor against the big mean world!! that's how you lose yourself!! i don't wanna have to act tough i don't wanna have to put up facades that i can't back up and real bravery is going through the world soft and vulnerable anyway!!! and uh drinking too much of your 'im softe' juice when you still need to work on boundaries is. y'know. not the best great combo.

anyway now i work in retail and i stg not a week goes by where some guy tries to like. jovially clap me on the shoulder. bonus points for making it A Thing if i actually duck away from it now like damn we don't need to Have A Conversation about this just gtfo of my six feet.
