How to easily stream your (New) 3DS to a PC
For a long time, capturing footage from a 3DS was a pain - streaming the 3DS screens either required a hardmod to install a capture card (which, if you can, should still do if possible), or use one of the several wireless methods (NTR CFW and HzMod) that gave poor results, especially on Old 3DS.
Today, thanks to the effors of zbash92, there is now a way to stream the New 3DS display to your computer with actually decent picture quality and low latency!
youtube
New NTR CFW test done back when it was firstly released
Here's a few applications of streaming your 3DS to a computer:
Playing on a bigger screen
Recording footage of 3DS games
Capturing audio for OSTs or music you made on 3DS
Below is a guide to setting everything up, including audio capture.
Requirements
A hacked New 3DS system (Old 3DS users might use HzMod via a separate guide but the performance is VERY POOR. Old 3DS can still have their audio captured by audio cable.)
A good network connection that both the New 3DS and your PC share
(If you want to capture audio) A 3.5mm to 3.5mm audio cable and either a microphone port or a Y splitter that has a microphone port
Setup wireless streaming (3DS)
Install the .cia file onto your 3DS from the latest release of this NTR fork
Run the newly installed app, go through the setup until prompted to run a desired version - pick 3.6 HR at the very bottom
Press X+Y to open the NTR CFW menu and choose Remote Play (New 3DS) - this will show you the IP address your console has, and will also let you configure quality and performance options
Setup wireless streaming (PC)
Install one of the following NTR viewers: - NTRViewer (Windows and Linux, x64) - Snickerstream (Windows, x86 and x64) - kit-kat-slim (Windows, allows using input redirection AKA controlling your 3DS with the PC) - Twix (Windows, also allows input redirection and looks fancy) - cuteNTR (Linux) - cuteNTR-OSX (Mac OS) There are other ones, including for Windows 10/Xbox and even Wii U, but the performance may not be ideal for these
Run the NTR viewer you chose and input the IP address you got earlier. You can also set quality and performance options in the viewer as well as rendering options if available
Connect to your 3DS and enjoy looking at your console on a bigger(?) screen!
Setup audio capture
Connect the 3.5mm to 3.5mm audio cable to your 3DS headphone port and PC's microphone port (directly or via the Y splitter in computer's headphone port)
You can test the audio by either enabling listening to the new microphone device or using a program such as Audacity or OBS
Notes and Issues
TRY NOT TO CLOSE YOUR 3DS LID! It can sometimes lead to black screens and no response from the console, in which case you should hold the power button until it shuts down
This CANNOT record your DS, DSiWare or GBA VC games. Those require a capture card or using an emulator instead. Audio can be captured regardless of what your system is running
Some games may disable your internet connection, which means that you need to use patching option provided by NTR CFW or your NTR viewer of choice
If your NTR Viewer doesn't work, check firewall and viewer's render settings first and then try other viewers for your system
If your viewer disconnects on still screens, increase the timeout/wait time of the viewer if available (for Snickerstream, it's in Advanced settings)
If you have choppy framerate, decrease the quality, fiddle with QoS value and Encoder Priority, or get a better internet connection :p
If you have audio issues, try switching between microphone out and line out

About a year ago someone asked what things you wanted to do with hypnosis and hadn't had a chance to.
A year on, has this list changed? How?
Thank you so much, my dear. I would be happy to answer this question...
Thanks to my wonderful tagging system I was able to find the original post here. Feel free to reference what we had discussed as fantasies back then. I'll go through each listed fantasy and how it had been filled in the past 52 weeks.
I'll begin working on a new list of things to suggest in the meanwhile as I'm sure such a checklist begs to be met and matched with a new one.
So let us break down the suggestions listed in that post and how they have changed in the past year...
Fountain Scene - Wishing to recreate the intimacy of the Stardazer Comic (or Imaginatrix tweet that inspired it) by being publicly tranced in a moment of private connection with a wonderful partner, the sounds of the world fading away as the universe becomes entirely about the emotional entanglement between hypnotist and hypnotee.
Tumblr media
(photo edited for privacy)
It was enjoyed deeply.
Written in our journal regarding the event:
Cammie was plucked up on her Miss’ lap and was given a choice between two headphones. One with more comfort and one with better sound quality. She wanted comfort. I suppose given she was longing for trance more than audio bliss this was a good decision. Though I tend to be an audiophile…
Daja had a splitter and must have done an adapter too as her phone was brand new [...] because the brand new phone with its beautiful lavender pop-socket was going to play not a spiral… no.
The Rhythm Method (1997) recorded live in Toronto.
We picked it out ourselves. Albeit as with the spiral galaxy shawl we did not realize what we were agreeing to. Daja is a sneaky tricky trickster.
We had experimented with a scene like this in the past and so it was that for every single time Neil Peart’s sticks hit a drum I’d go deeper and deeper. Every smack just drumming me into hypnotic furvor.
I remember when she did the Susan Snap to have me absorb the command (I got the memory back) I was starring empty and blank through glassy eyes at a set of kids, completely disconnected and absorbing Miss’ words.
Susan Snap time is so lovely… when I remember it later it’s like a complete mindlessly blank trance. I don’t quite remember what happens during those windows but like the fact that there were kids was like “oh wow, I was completely out of it” I guess?
But then headphones in and cheers start and I recognize the audio right away and it’s like !!!
I HAVE BEEN BAMBOOZLED AGAI–n…
And I just sunk against her. I felt her monitoring me. Keeping me safe. Making sure my arm was in the right place. Telling me to keep my neck comfortable. I starred blankly at the screen and the Stardazer comic was in my mind. I could hear the gushing of the fountain and the ambiance of the world and felt the lazy sun setting above a hill and all was soothing and…
Oh how deep I went.
How lovely it felt.
Melted into Miss. Drifted away. Absolutely and utterly nestled in trust and safety.
She took a photograph of it at the end and I’ll treasure it forever and ever and ever.
So lucky. So grateful. So happy.
So in summary, that was very much checked from the checklist. Thank you, beloved.

Flight Trance: Ah, another one checked from the hypno-bucket list...
From my Charmed 2023 journal:
As I type we are an hour in to flight.
On the runway, Dolly told me that she adored take off. The feeling of weightlessness that washes over her. She was happy to share this treasured moment with me and something in her tone invited mischief. I checked if such things were Green… Dolly emphatically insisted they were.
I took the opportunity to slide into my Toppy headspace, transforming into the indomnitable and dominant Miss Dawn. Flooded with my hypnotic presence and with her permission, I began to brainwash her while in taxi. Pulling her down and down but never given permission to *sleep*, oh no, not yet. No that would have to wait. She would not be denied the bliss of soaring, of falling in to the sky. No matter how much she wanted to she was forbidden from sinking until I gave her permission to do so.
The icing and the taxi must have taken an eternity as I ran my nails up and down her arm, tracing gentle spirals and whispering through my mask. No one else could hear us. There was no one sitting in *any* of the seats surrounding. She was in my private embrace, trapped within my words and the spell I cast upon her namesake, her Sleepy Head.
As the plane took off I tugged her arm and hissed a command for her to finally let go. I lapsed into a possessive speech. How weightlessness had claimed her, how her willpower in remaining awake is turned now to draw her deeper, that she need not fight any longer, that she was free to *obey*.
And obey she did, lovely Dolly. I lulled her and lay her against my shoulder. I asked her, while hypnotized, to tell me what she would want from the trolly when the attendants came by. I *enjoyed* ordering for her. Treating her as the pretty little prize that she felt to me in that moment.
I found a Spotify channel called Deep Focus and placed a headphone in. Let her drift until the cart service arrived. A good 40 odd minutes of brainwashing to kick off Charmed! A beautiful start to what promises to be a lovely weekend.
As I sipped my coffee and let Sleepyhead enjoy the refreshments I ordered, free from surrounding passengers to play anxiety upon our minds, I eased in and felt proud of my accomplishment. Then took the time to write this journal. As I finish this segment she has lazed back onto my shoulder, the music I selected for her lulling in her ears.
She is such a good Dolly.
I had not intended to keep her down the whole flight. My will was to have her awake after the cart. A fair divider for our trip, but she is *insatiable*. I am forced to reward her tenacity with hypnotic reverie. What else is a caring partner to do?
-
The announcement pinged that there were 13 minutes left and we were coming in to land. Sleepyhead awoke, surprised at how quickly the flight had “flown” by (it’s a pun!!) and quickly looked to me with serious eyes. “You’re not the only hypnotist on this flight.” she boldly proclaimed. The ambush predator was out for play.
She swiftly dropped me in such a manner that I cannot recall how it happened. The plane wobbled and bobbed with mild turbulence, rocking me in to sleep.
“I remember you said you had a fantasy of being hypnotized on a flight.” she teased, as I dropped. Deeper and deeper with every second. All Dawn energy faded as somft pretty Cammie submitted to her wonderful girlfriend.
She began to count the flight descent. 35 thousand… down and down… closer to the ground, down down…
It is a good thing I love heights and she knew it, that would have freaked a few peoples I know out. It did not freak me out. It lulled me. I was… so calm. So content.
So happy…
We landed and she brought me back. We hugged. I love her so so much!
I made a silly joke about the plane taxiing so fast that I could hear The Offspring.
Then I wrote this while waiting to disembark!

!!!!!
Amnesia shenanigans!
Miss Daja and Sleepyhead teamed up to make that scene happen! They knew it was my fantasy and that I wanted it oh so much! Sleepy did such a good job and Daja wiped me so clean that I had forgotten how excited I was for the idea jdbskgxjd
Wanna hug her so so much!
I am overjoyed! What a way to start Charmed.
-
Stage Show Assistant Fantasy: This one has been teased at, especially with amnesia shenanigans to ensure my darling lass was dressed the way I wished her to be dressed for my 2023 Presence class (the encore is currently scheduled for Charmed 2024 on Friday at 2pm EST) and this did touch upon some of the fantasy, but as far as I presently recall there have not been moments where Cammie has been plucked from an audience and turned into The Sensational Sunrise for an audience and performer to enjoy.
Given how elaborate the first two stories turned out to be, I suppose I had better draft out something for my lass to do when she assists me again.
-
Dinner Date with Goddess: COVID persists. This has yet to be accomplished. Though if you read the flight story above, I suppose I did serve that role for Dolly on the flight.
-
Vampire scene: The vampire ball at Charmed 2023 was such an involved and lengthy scene that I cannot share the journal entry as it would be the length of a full story. Suffice to say Cammie was enthralled (with Goddess' permission) for an entire evening, was used as an example for another vassal and got to mingle in right on the line between reality and fantasy without slipping into LARP space.
Plus it was all while wearing this:

-
Fae Contracts: Fae Play has been performed as part of my standard routine but never to my full satisfaction. I suppose that is a theme at play in these check-ins. When I am the one orchestrating the schemes I never feel satiated. I wish to tool and tweak and refine. I wish for it to become perfect...
The best example I can think of is the "3 times you must offer it to me" moment I had. That played into the Fae Contract fantasy quite well in my mind.
From my exhaustive journals:
Blue Fire. The gift of perfect obedience. A trigger I had worked with in our last meeting, based on a story from the Tammy Pierce books Daja and I each love. A finger to the firehead. A magical blue fire. Then the enchanted individual would awaken having completed a single command. Whether it be as simple as climb down a tower or something unthinkable.
We had placed the magical blue fire which could melt her mind away inside a blue bottle, a reference in itself to Ocarina of Time.
We had agreed to unbottle the fire and return it on the night of the Soiree and use it to get Daja all nice and dressed up for the event while I offered her “my heart”, knowing she would return it in time. Theoretically it could be used in mingle with another scene we had that weekend, though.
Daja wanted to break street date and get to enjoy the blue flame for the entire weekend. I told her I was willing to go ahead and do that for her, but only if she was certain she wanted it.
Now, Miss Dawn is a Fae. This has been true since the days she was simply an expression of gender euphoria in tabletop scenes and LARP. She was not going to accept a simple “I’m sure” as a method of consent.
“Please, Miss Dawn. Uncork the bottle.”
You must say it of your own volition three times. Uncoerced and unbound by a fractionated mind. Say it three times and I shall uncork the bottle and unleash the spell which effortlessly bewitches your mind and engulfs you in the flame of Pure Obedience. Knowing that once that spell takes hold and melts your mind away there will not be a single thing you will not do for me when I command you under its enchantment.
“Please, Miss Dawn. Uncork the bottle.”
I lowered myself and took her arm and kissed her fiercely. Looked her in the eyes and held her gaze. I reminded her that she would act without any memory of her actions, that she would be giving me complete control of her and doing so without a long thought was simply unwise.
“Please, Miss Dawn. Uncork the bottle.”
Utilizing a previously installed trigger I commanded her to kiss me and enjoyed the moment. My fingers laced around the bottle. If she were to ask me one more time then I would be bound by my Fae Contract to comply and control her.
Was this really? Truly? Deeply desired?
“Please, Miss Dawn…”
I gave her hair a tug and looked her in the eyes.
“Please uncork the bottle.”
As you wish, my love.
What else could a Fae say when bound by a contract? I followed the pre-negotiated scene, which had some lovely amnesia laden suggestions hidden within. Because I am a tricky Fae and if the airplane ride and the MMM scene had not already proven, Daja and I studied for this test and had written a dissertation on how to make these scenes work.
I am also editorializing a little bit because I have a broken brain that doesn’t remember things and imagines things between the gaps.
“Hand me the bottle, my dear.”
-
And that is it for the fantasies I listed on November 26th 2022.
Which means we need some new fantasies to treat like a checklist, I suppose?
But this post is running long. Anon, my sweet, be so kind as to send me another ask requesting my new list of unfulfilled fantasies. I shall work hard to fill the list with wonders and delights that shall become as fond as these memories are to us.

Free or inexpensive DJ gear to get the job done... its definitely come a long way since I last checked
It's crazy, I haven't looked into DJ equipment for over 10 years since I exclusively started delving into music production back then, but I was at a place where all my records were stored ('were' being the operative word, since I couldn't find a single piece of vinyl anywhere having spent thousands of dollars on records back then, where I would near ritualistically blow near 80% of my wage on records alone on a monthly basis. Although my two technics turntables were still there, and intact, my backup 4Channel digital hybrid analogue/fully midi assignable Korg Zero4 midi controller was nowhere to be found. In that failed attempt at setting up my DJ rig last night for not being able to find anything, I thought I might as well see where its currently at on the digital front.
Ableton Live
Seems obvious, I used to use it all the time for DJing experimentally after my long foray into using vinyl emulation. Everything else to my mind is just a speed bump as far as DJ equipment is concerned, even CDJ's. The only problem with using Ableton Live though is that you pretty much have to set up a DJ setup work session project within Ableton Live, which can take hours of prep depending how many tunes you want to use (that all need gridding), and what your setup is going to be. It's not simply a case dropping in nay tunes in as you go along. It's not the most affordable option, and would require that you already have Ableton Live (unless you have the pirated version of course). The Ableton Live lite version usually comes free with music hardware, or can be acquired for as little as 20 bucks legit, but it does lack the audio clip manipulation, mix, and remix features that come with the standard, or suite versions of Ableton Live.
Pacemaker DJ device
It's in a box, in pieces. It doesn't work, and was kaput years ago. I didn't want to spend the money on buying another one, especially with having a laptop at my disposal. Surely there must be some laptop software alternatives?
Pioneer WeDJ
In its current form, it's everything that the Tonium Pacemaker DJ device/DJ app should have become on a mobile device for both Android, and iOS. However I don't have a mono headphone monitor, and line out cable splitter on hand, nor could I be bothered ordering one, although I do have one somewhere that I can't find that I bought for the Blackberry Playbook (also now kaput) many years ago. If you have one of Pioneers controllers you can obviously use WeDJ with that instead, which should then give you both stereo pre-mix monitoring, and stereo line outputs to your amp. Pioneer's WeDJ app is completely free to download and use for both Android, and iOS, and is essentially a fully functional DJ app that doesn't require any sort of ongoing subscription for full functionality in order to DJ your music collection.
Native Instruments Traktor DJ 2
Useful if you've got a laptop or a MacBook Pro, and in its most current form is completely free as a fully featured, and highly polished DJ app that functions perfectly for purpose. It's actually shocking how much they actually give you to work with here given that its 100% free from a main competitor commercial brand, but then again with the likes of the open source MIXX DJ app projects giving you way more fully pro features (even a stack of things that many will never even get to using) than this for completely free, I guess they didn't have much of a choice. Although native instruments do have a Pro version of the Traktor DJ app that does come at a premium, which comes with more features than most people would ever even use.
If you don't have a touchscreen to use with it
You'll definitely need an assignable midi controller of some sort to use with it, as well as an audio interface of your own that has a separate set lines for stereo pre-mix monitoring, and stereo line outputs to your chosen amp. Then again, I'm guessing Native Instruments would probably most likely prefer you use one of their midi controllers with it which pretty much gives you a one to one layout. Depending on which you get, there's one with a built in audio interface (which will give you the stereo pre-mix monitor headphones outputs, and separate stereo line outputs you'd more ideally need integrated directly into the midi controller), and one without, but if you were to buy one used from places like eBay, they could be acquired pretty inexpensively for anything between 70 to 150 bucks.
If you have a touchscreen on your laptop
This is probably the ideal, as this gives you the options to 'needle drop', and track scrub via the touch screen, as well as use the controls via the interface, although the GUI controls for the EQ, and pitch within the windows version of Traktor DJ 2 software isn't ideally optimised for touch interactions like it is on the iPad version, but the ability to competently needle drop, and track scrub via the touchscreen, combined with a one of their midi controllers, and an appropriate audio interface would be a killer combination. Something like the Behringer U-Control 222 is great quality as far as its audio is concerned, and can be acquired for around 25 bucks new, However, that won't give you independent headphone pre-mix monitoring, and separate stereo line output compatibility despite the U-Control 222 being equipped with it, where they've most probably rigged it in a way where it Traktor DJ 2 app will only function fully in such a way with one of their own Native Instruments audio interfaces.
MIXX
This has everything that you can find in all the commercial premium DJ application (and more), with compatibility for multiple different vinyl timecode DVS standards too from the numerous different manufacturer brands if you're a vinyl emulation junkie. They've vastly improved the default GUI skin too, that makes it look WAY more professional, and slicker looking than it used to, where it wouldn't look too out of place on a laptop sat next to another laptop maybe running Ableton live on it as part of some sort of sync setup. However, if you're fortunate to have a touchscreen on your laptop, you're a little out of luck here, as it's not really touchscreen interaction friendly optimised, for a fair number of the core control buttons being too small and fiddly on the screen to actually use touchscreen interactions with, so you'll definitely need to have suitable midi controller to assign controls to for this one if you don't want to be stuck using mouse click interactions. Its 100% free to download, and use. It's also the only fully featured DJ app that has a fully functional version for various different builds of Linux too, as well as windows, and MacOS.
RemixLive
It's technically not a DJ app, and if you want to do some fancy stuff with it, it can potentially become quite expensive in order to unlock all its features, but it essentially takes the live remix, and sample based line of approach that Ableton Live can optionally be used for beyond pure music production, and gives it to you within a highly polished, and easy to use touchscreen based application. It's also been created in such a way that you can also use it as a drum machine step sequencer too. You can do some decent stuff with the free features, but if you want to unlock its full potential as an app, you'll have to fork over a fair amount of dough. The app itself is available for both Android, and iOS.
It looks like something from the creators of an app that was originally made for the Novation Launchpad midi controller as a freebie, but greatly further elaborated on, as a separate commercial software product.
There's a lot of potential here…
Using it reminds me of how one might use Ableton Live for stem clip, audio sample based loop music production, but delivered within a very touch based centric package. It's been many years since I last checked it out, and it's certainly come a long way from those plaything like beginnings.
If anything having played with it briefly for a couple of hours earlier this morning via an Android device, with a little more refinement (that’s not to say that it's not actually come a long way since I last briefly looked at it many years ago), it could actually seriously be a much better replacement for the kind of defunct and very expensive Native Instrument stem clip based live remix, and creation controllers, that allows more direct control. It even has full Ableton link sync capabilities within the Android version too. Maybe this was the missing part of development that could have somehow been integrated, and used with something like the stem based Traktor controllers for potential greater success as a product that would have made it less cumbersome in order to simply get things cooking on the fly in a way that's actually fun, and enjoyable without feeling like a chore to get a dancefloor rocking that doesn't require hours, days, or weeks of prep beforehand?
There's a VERY limited selection of free stem packs for it, with the prices for the numerous premium stem packs being very much in line of a chart release track that you might find on Beatport. It's possible to create your own custom combination packs from the packs that you've bought, as well as import your own sample clips too, but they don't make this process as intuitive, or as quick as it could potentially be, as it might be with using something like Ableton Live, or FL-studio mobile for the purposes of creating your own, and using them for quickly putting together a tune off the cuff.
It seems to lack the ability to easily save projects as a separate file save state at any given point which was a little jarring, meaning you need to remember set it up as anew project at the start with its own file name, because if you don't and simply mess with it to come up with something you actually want to save, there's no obvious way to save it that I've found yet.
Touch OSC
If you're a bit strapped for cash, or just simply don't have the space, or need a much more portable fully customisable solution, the traditional midi controller might not be what you're looking for, and particularly if you're limited to android for budget reasons, touch OSC is your friend.
I first came across something like this many years ago, however, back then it was sort of new coming off something called the Jazz Mutant midi controller, which was a dedicated fully customisable midi control surface device, which back then, used to cost a few thousand dollars for the Jazz Mutant control surface device.
However, a few years later, Lemur (the makers of the Jazz mutant) eventually released an iOS app that essentially allowed you to do the same thing with an iPad. I actually got the iPad app, and used it with a hand me down iPad 2 (some time way after the iPad air had been released), and to all intents and purposes it was great, as it did exactly what it said it would do on the tin. I haven't used it since though, nor did I get a replacement iPad after it broke for that specific purpose, since iPads have gotten vastly more expensive where they cost more than a decent laptop these days, and the Lemur app was exclusive to iOS. I never bothered looking into Android solutions, and I do recall seeing touch OSC for android a while back in its very early stages when it was far less user friendly, and limited in features, and wasn't anything like it is today. How is Touch OSC today? The way the application has evolved for Android? It's almost identical to Lemurs Jazz mutant app port to the iPad, with barely any difference. It's perfect for function, and purpose in being incredibly versatile in a DaftPunk wet dream on the command deck of the starship Enterprise kind of way, as it delivers fully customisable midi control surfaces at your fingertips if you have an available Android tablet or smartphone to use it with in conjunction with your chosen DJ software on a MacOS or Windows machine. It's not free, but for such extensive, and powerful features fully unlocked, 12 quid isn't a lot to pay once, and be able to use it as you please for life, for many things, such as any DAW, or DJ app that supports midi. Even if you're using ZeroBug's excellent Touchable Pro app for Ableton Live, you'll still definitely find Touch OSC useful too if you don't want to be moving through layers as often, and have way more room with Touchable for specific control layers always on hand, particularly if you're using VST instruments, synths, and drum machines that are midi control assignable with Ableton Live, but don't have midi control support within Touchable Live pro.
Another sophisticatedly advance multi-tool like feature to add to your smartphone, and or tablet if you often use midi control, that most people would take for granted without knowing of its development, and how its vastly surpassed the capabilities, and versatility of its original high cost premium priced variants…
I suppose this gives you even more incentive to hold onto your old smartphone devices to possibly repurpose them as fully customisable advance modular midi/OSC touch control interface surfaces for your various plugins, and effects modules within your DAW and/DJ software. Obviously beyond midi, as its name suggests, it's all about the OSC, meaning you can also make custom controls for many other things besides DAW, or Video editing software (e.g. national grid powerplant control rooms, etc). Touch OSC running on your Galaxy Tab A7, Tab A8, Tab S6, Tab S7 or iPad 2/3/4 and above via Lemurs original app, whether wired, or more fancy, wirelessly too, it actually provides you with way more advanced features, and capabilities than the original Jazz Mutant controller in a vastly more portable compact device. Even if you had something like an LG V50. V50S, or V60, you'd also be able to plug them into an external touchscreen monitor, and use Touch OSC via the 12/13/14/15 inch touchscreen beyond using it on the actual smartphone device too. You'll probably also find touch OSC very useful to use with MIXX too.
Native Instruments free 'Native Access' apps
'Native Access' is basically their equivalent of the steam app management client, but for all their Native Instruments apps instead. There's mainly premium apps there, but there a number of high quality free apps there too, from synths, instruments, and plugins which you can use as standalone via a midi controller/keyboard, or as a VST plugin for you chosen DAW. Simply do a search for the their free apps on their website.
One app that you won't find there though (although you will need to enter the serial number for it within the Native access client to actually register, and download it after first install the Native Instrument Reaktor 7 player app), is the DP-06+ app, which is basically a faithfully recreated software version of the Roland 606 drum machine that you use like a VST plugin via Reaktor 7. Just head on over to 'Deputi Sounds' where you can buy it for a limited period for the price of $0.00 (you actually have to go through the checkout process to get the activation serial number code for it). I don't know how long the offer is on for, but the temporary offer rolled out yesterday.

This setup really depends on your computer. Most newer laptops have the 3.5mm jack act as both the headphones (output), and the microphone (input). BUT some computers can only act as the output.
If your computer isn't recognizing the 3.5mm as a microphone, it may be because that port just can't do it.
Easiest solution: MillSO Headphone Mic Splitter, 3.5mm Headset Adapter (Microphone + Audio) 2 TRS Female to TRRS Male CTIA Stereo Jack Y Cable Compatible for Dual-Plug Gaming Headset to Xbox, PS4, Phone, Laptop, PC https://a.co/d/aOZPY2a
Or this: Plugable USB Audio Adapter with 3.5mm Speaker-Headphone and Microphone Jack, Add an External Stereo Sound Card to Any PC, Compatible with Windows, Mac, and Linux - Driverless https://a.co/d/affXIMU
Best of luck! Sorry that you need to spend more money, but I'm pretty sure that's your problem. The only other issue is with a defective unit, but that's highly unlikely.
Also, read up on the specs of your laptop and see if it lists anything about the 3.5mm jack and it being an integrated microphone port before buying anything. If it can be a microphone, it's a defective unit.
Best of luck!
Hey, any of you nerds know stuff about computers and microphones (probably both, not either)? I’m tryin to set up a aokeo ak-80 and my computer just won’t seem to acknowledge it exists.
Important details:
I have the whole phantom power box thing set up
Phantom power box’s power source is usb from my laptop
The output is an xlr to 3.5mm that’s plugged into my laptop’s audio jack
I would absolutely love to not spend any more money
Thank you besties 😘

Sorry if that's too specific :))

Tumblr media Tumblr media
TSUKISHIMA KEI WAS UNSURE HOW to define love. He wasn't certain if he'd ever experienced the poeticised emotion, and he only knew the definition his brother, Akiteru, had given him, on one of the rare nights they'd spent in fraternal company.
It's like someone becomes the centre of your whole world, and all you can do is stand and watch, because they are suddenly your gravity. Your heart won't stop racing, and you smile for them ... it's hard to imagine that happening to you, Kei!
Akiteru had laughed at his own words, slapping his younger brother on the back. "I'm sure you'll fall in love someday, Kei."
And here he, in fact, was, unable on to concentrate on class or lunch or even his precious music, because she was always in the corner of his eye. Though he came off as (and probably was) an insufferable smartass, Kei was still just as human as anyone else, still as susceptible to the racing heartbeat that throbbed almost painfully in his chest and never went away.
Every time he saw Y/L/N Y/N, he was helpless.
Shit, sometimes he ended up blushing, insane as that may have sounded, whenever she was around. Y/L/N didn't even have to be looking at him for that swoop in his stomach to practically knock him off his feet every time she smiled.
Kei had never felt this way for anyone before, and Y/L/N confused him to no end. He still couldn't figure her out, not when they spent more and more time together when their class seating plan landed them in neighbouring desks, not when she began to act strangely around him as well. Red constantly seemed to flush her cheeks, and she avoided his eyes, hidden behind the slim frames of his glasses.
It only took a single offhand comment for the entire Karasuno volleyball club to find out about the girl Kei was useless around, and the blond spend the afternoon being relentlessly pounded by his senpais for his "clueless" behaviour, and that Y/L/N was evidently "in love with you, you complete idiot!"
Somehow, someway, Kei managed to awkwardly ask her out after class (externally as cool and collected as ever, internally less than a second away from spontaneous combustion), though only under thee pretence of a single date "to, uh, study for the English test."
He almost set on fire right then and there when she gave him an ecstatic smile and an overjoyed "I'd love to go out with you, Tsukishima-kun!"
Damn, what is this? He felt like smiling all the time, his head so far in the clouds one of Kageyama's serves hit him squarely in the face, his mind occupied solely with thoughts of Y/L/N, Y/L/N, Y/L/N.
The day before his date with her, Kei was absolutely panicking, having spent the previous night pouring his heart and soul into the only way he knew how to show affection as of yet.
A playlist.
He would never show it to anyone but her, but anyone who may have happened to catch a glimpse of his phone would've thought him completely enamoured - the playlist icon was one of those heart memes, the title 'for you <3', and every single song some kind of love song. Kei couldn't hide his feelings in the music, unwittingly unveiling every last emotion in the painstakingly selected tracks that were just for her, just for Y/L/N.
In the evening the day before she would arrive for their date, Kei suddenly bolted up in bed so quickly that his bulky, noise-cancelling headphones fell from his ears and slid onto his neck, resting on his collarbone.
His headphones.
Y/L/N actually owned a similar pair - it was one of the reasons they'd bonded, and because of that, he'd been able to get closer to her and experience that inexplicably joyous warmth he felt every time she was around. And yet, it was the last possible time he could prepare for his first time going out with anyone, let alone someone who meant as much to him as Y/L/N, and he had forgotten the most important component of his plan.
He wanted to listen to the playlist with her.
"Fuck, I'm dumb," Kei groaned aloud to himself, sliding out of bed and yelling some dumb excuse about getting food to his mother as he pulled on his shoes and ran out of his house, uncaring that he was sporting one of his dinosaur hoodies in a resplendent green. "I forgot- I forgot-"
He panted hard enough to interrupt his speech as his sprint brought him to the hardware store, barely twenty minutes before they closed. Making a beeline for a particular aisle, he absentmindedly shoved his glasses up his nose as he surveyed the technology in front of him, idly selecting one he thought Y/L/N might like the best-
Kei dropped the headphone splitter on the ground, uncaring that he was in the middle of a store with minimal time to make his purchase.
It's like someone becomes the centre of your whole world ...
He'd never shared his music with anyone - not his family, Yamaguchi, certainly not classmates at Karasuno - and here he was, making a long-term investment into a girl he'd just barely asked out, hadn't even gone on the first date with, and that meant ...
Kei swallowed deeply as he bent his stupidly long legs to pick the headphone splitter from the floor, staring at it as though it held the secrets of the universe.
He was in love with Y/L/N Y/N.
Though he'd never embraced her, never held her, never kissed her or even uttered the words aloud ... they were irrevocably the emotions he felt.
The same emotion seized him almost a day later when he hesitantly presented the playlist and splitter to Y/L/N, who smiled and plugged in both their headphones to listen as their textbooks lay discarded on his bedroom floor, long forgotten.
It encapsulated him as they both sat above the covers of his bed and she teasingly made a comment about how it was a playlist of love songs, and he managed to force out a sentence past his fiery blush that, "I thought it seemed appropriate, since I do ...", taking both their breaths away as he snapped his mouth shut.
Love became the epitome of that Tsukishima Kei was as one date turned to more and more, as shy hand-brushes turned to embraces and easy contact, as spring turned to summer and, months after their whole journey had started, he finally found the courage to press his lips to Y/L/N's- to Y/N's. Her hands ran desperately through the short locks of his hair, his knees on either side of hers and arms barely propping him up over her as she stole his breath, his being away.
And he couldn't believe it was a headphone splitter, and one irresistibly beautiful girl, that caused him to realise what love was.

My UGREEN Audio Cable Extension (Male to Female) Review (w/ my Paper Dolls) - Part 2 [Mar 11, 2021]
Here’s my Part 2 of reviewing my UGREEN Audio Cable Extension, also known as 3.5mm Male to 3.5mm Female Extension Braid 2m (2 meters). With as always my beloved paper dolls.😊
In this part I’m doing a little detail about my UGREEN audio cable extension, as well as a comparison with my recent use Awei AUX-001 male to male audio cable among a little preview of my next upcoming part.🙂
If you haven’t seen my first part of this topic, then please [CLICK ME!].
So without further ado, let’s get started:
1st & 2nd Image(s): • I removed two metal wire straps on each side of my audio cable extension, and I’ll try my best to explain some little details. • My paper dolls apparently, saying they’re not a fan of long lectures; don’t worry I’ll cut the chase... Well sort of.😅
3rd & 4th Image(s): • [3rd Image] Here, take a closer look of the male (left) and female (right) audio plugs. Aside from the finishing brush metallic look and gold plated audio plugs (by today standards), the male audio plug has three black line poles that supports “remote & microphones” on both 3-pole and 4-pole jacks. And this will be perfect for gaming headphones with a built-in microphone and remote, which is a perfect prefer.😊🎧🎤✔️ Combine that with a audio Y splitter [CLICK ME!], and you have a perfect audio experience, both in gaming chats, video chats, etc...😁 • [4th Image] Now I tried my best to get closer for the female audio socket, not to mention the focusing on my Honor 8C camera that I’m trying hard. But nonetheless, the female audio socket also supports “remote & microphones” much like the male audio jack.
5th & 6th Image(s): • [5th Image] Now on to the comparison. Here on the right side, I’m holding my recent use Awei AUX-001 male audio jack. As you may notice, the male audio jack from Audio has two black line poles, meaning the “remote & microphones” is unsupported. And to be clear, my Awei 780BL headphone's built-in microphone doesn’t support on computer/laptop in auxiliary wired mode, it’s exclusive to wireless Bluetooth mode and more suited on android/iOS devices. •[6th Image] Unlike their audio male jacks, they’re both using nylon braided material use with the same purposes. And that’s good.🙂👍
7th & 8th Image(s): • Cable length comparison is a big difference between these two; with my UGREEN audio cable extension (male to female) of 2 meters / 6.5 feet, while my Awei audio cable (male to male) only has 1 meter / 3.2 feet. Now I can’t take a snapshot of straitening lines between the two, because my UGREEN’s audio cable extension 2 meters long, so the only you can do was imagine it of sorts.  • My paper dolls saying that, what if you combine your Ugreen and Awei audio cables. Well that’s gonna be my next part soon.😉
9th & 10th Image(s): • And speaking of, here’s a preview that I’m testing in with my two current Awei audio items: the Y200 Bluetooth Speaker [CLICK ME!] and A780BL Bluetooth Headphone [CLICK ME!]. • My paper dolls saying that they’re so excited to see. Yeah, indeed and so am I!😁
Overall: • I would say it’s a good comparison, even though they’re some differences but still. And much like my paper dolls said, hopefully It’ll work and function well when I combine it as my next part.🙂
But which of these awei audio item will testing first, we’ll have to find out.😊
Well that’s all for now. If you haven’t seen my previous UGREEN USB Bluetooth Adapter/Receiver review (which is still ongoing), then I’ll provide some links down below. ↓😉
UGREEN USB Bluetooth Adapter: • Unopened parcel [Nov 9, 2020] • Revealing item (Recorded Video) [Nov 9, 2020] • Part 1 [Dec 5, 2020] • Part 2 [Dec 15, 2020] • Part 3 [Jan 14, 2021] • Part 3.5 [Jan 14, 2021] • Part 4 [Jan 26, 2021]

Cuddles with Tsukki and Yamaguchi?
TsukkiYama
Tsukki totally acts like he is above cuddling for the first ever. Blame his dumb pride but honestly he loves when you and Yams cuddle with him.
Yams has absolutely no issue admitting that he loves cuddling with the both of you. Expect him to hold one or both of your every chance he gets.
Sometimes you put Tsukki in the middle so he can drop an arm around both of you. This works best for movies. Other times you sort of pile into some configuration on a soft surface. After a hard day Yams buries his face in someone’s stomach while hugging their middle.
The greatest investment ever was an headphone splitter so the three of you can comfortably enjoy music without speakers or someone being left out. Another fun thing is everyone switching which device their headphones are plugged into to share in the music.
Akiteru witnessed the three of you cuddling once and almost cried in happiness. His baby brother has romance in his life. Tsukki threw him out while Yams turned vibrant red. You’re welcomed to raise an eyebrow at Akiteru’s overreactions or blush too. Getting used to the oldest Tsukishima takes time but he does become background noise.
