silly little headcanon that, as Robin, each of the Batboys were trained to go limp when being lifted from areas of danger, sort of like how kittens go limp when mother cats grab the scruff of their neck. it just makes so it’s easier for Batman to grab the little Robin from a particularly dangerous area.

i imagine that, even after his Robin days, Nightwing still has going limp trained into him. one time, when he and Starfire were in a particularly dangerous battle and cornered by a cliff edge, Starfire grabs hold of him and he just limp. Starfire assumes something has happened to him and panics, but finds that Nightwing is fine. he’s a bit embarrassed, seeing that he still has his Robin training instilled deeply within him somewhere.

but where it gets even funnier is with Jason. as Robin, it’s always a little cute to see Batman grab him by the scruff of his neck and to see the small child go limp and get carried off into safety. but when Batman and Red Hood get into disagreements during the rare missions that they do come together to take down a common threat, seeing a grown, 6’0” man going limp and then realizing he did so is miraculously laughable. Tim doesn’t let him forget about his Robin habits only to get grabbed and go limp as well.

headcanon that percy and annabeth have a relationship contract they made after they got together once the war came to pass. they outlined it on paper in percy's bedroom. typed up a final draft using sally's laptop. and printed out and laminated it at the local library on their two month anniversary. and they abide by it like it's the law.

I think for Tails, he’s just excited that his hero/big brother has something else in common with him. They have sleepovers and sleep in a big pile underneath Tail’s collection with Beaklet at the heart of it. Sonic feels less nervous about him finding out and manages to maintain some of his dignity in that case, especially when Tails assures him that he doesn’t think he’s any less cool because of it.

Knuckles however…..

He’s silently terrified that if Knuckles found her he’d rip her to shreds (being an owl n’ all that). Luckily Knuckles still doesn’t know about her.

This is one of the scenes that I adore SO much. You can tell that both Suou and Sakura made the decision to shield Nirei subconsciously. This is so important because usually Sakura would charge into the battlefield and leave Nirei in the care of Suou since he was aware that Suou could do that with ease.

The look of surprise on their faces when they saw the other doing the same thing is so priceless. I think at that moment they really realised how much they had grown on each other.

i think the funniest way rick could slip in a swear word in the books is not in a carefully built up and thought out dramatic scene but in the most casual way where you wouldn't expect it. like imagine annabeth doing the most outlandish and random and weirdest thing percy has ever seen her do and he just goes "annabeth, what the fuck was that?" and then they just move on like the swear word didn't happen. because i think that'd be hilarious.
