Head bust of my imperial Doroshin, he's one of the oldest dragons I have on my FR account besides the progenitors.

In total the whole piece took roughly 15 hours to paint from start to finish

This is the bust w/out the bg wich took abt 10 hours on its own

Line art and color before I did any blending or filters. Line art took roughly an hour.

Oops….

I’ve just been real busy with finals at school coming up and working hard to make new art and comics. I won’t be posting regularly or semi daily until May next when I’m on summer vacation from school, but until then here’s a post to hold you over! It’s a headbust I made for my ceramics elective. The theme was to make a vase that had a self portrait element, I choose to take that somewhat literally on purpose to see if I could sculpt a headbust resembling me, that was also a vase and this was the final result! I’m really happy with how it came out and how shiny the final piece looked once glazed the colors alone probably make this one of my favorite pieces I’ve made out of clay! Hope you enjoy it too! 🥰🌈
