but there’s still love and people helping each other, humanity is not inherently selfish and it has never been and it’s a shame so many people have been tricked into believing that

two days ago, i was raging over the fact that i could not watch a tv show. it seems little and maybe ridiculous but i’d been hyped for days and it had my celebrity crush of the moment in it and it was also a marxist tv show. i was mad that i couldn’t find it anywhere so i decided to dm said celebrity crush about it, knowing there was probably nothing he could do and he probably wouldn’t answer but, hey, at least i’d tried.

dude answered within 16 hours (it was precisely 8am, i know that because i was on tiktok at that moment and nearly fell out of my bed), telling me he’d looked it up and found another website where i could watch it. so i did what this man told me to do and i found it. i watched the series (and it was great) thanks to his help. i don’t know him except for his name and looks and voice, he doesn’t know me at all. he didn’t hesitate to help me, even if it was just a minor inconvenience. people still go out of their way to help people, even if it seems wild right now. don’t be afraid to ask for help.

and guys my age stop by to tell me I remind them of their aunt, of their grandmother. This is a compliment and I take it as such. They confess to having tried crochet once, and I smile. They get back in line for the bathroom.

She asks me all the questions on her mind about my craft and I answer them, hands still moving. We swap yarn sources. She doesn't stay, but she knows where to find me.

They pretend to be checking in on me, which is sweet, but I can see the relief in their eyes the moment they stop performing for a house full of people. The party has wound down and I'm still knitting and the hosts, two guys in their twenties, thank me for "helping to curate the vibe." I had no idea that's what I was doing. I leave the party having forgotten to drink anything and without that woman's number but with many rows added to my top-down raglan sweater. I call it a night, and a good one.

Tim Drake has a hatred for Sherlock Holmes, has he ever read the books? No but his dad used to insultingly call him Sherlock as a kid when he was being too nosy or curious and now even when people say it as a compliment it just irks him

Jason being the resident classic literature nerd is dead set on at least having Tim read the books so he can either A. Actually like the books and accept that Sherlock is actually a pretty cool guy to be compared too, or B. Give actual tasteful criticism and insults based on the contents of the book

He's FINALLY here!! I don't know why he took so long but I'm so so happy he's done now!! You'd think his battle body would be the hardest to do?? Well, no, it was the boots XD

He's one of the bigger puppets, so he can't stand on his own, and BOY is he hard to work with!! But he has that energy I always want to animate with, so it's a fun challenge!! I hope I captured that feeling of Papyrus!!! :D
