Giving up but not loving them

⚠️ Yandere, I don't support nor try to romanticize this toxic behaivor, is just write it for entretaiment

Finally found some inspiration to write for Devilman Crybaby! I absolutely loved the story so idk why it took me so long to write more for it! Hopely the inspiration doesn't stop here <3

Akira Fudo

Its more likely that for Akira is love at first sight but that doesn't make his feelings less meaningful, he falls in love fast and hard, in no time his mind is full of you and he even looks up at you, specially before becoming a demon

Akira not only loves you deeply but also admires you, you are just perfect in his eyes but also way too out of his league, no matter how much he is dying in the inside to be with you he just doesn't feel enough to even just be able to approach you, even if you two were friends he still feels quite unworthy

It is until he becomes a demon that he would finally feel confident enough to follow his feelings, after all with this new strength and apparience he is not only worthy but better option for you than anyone else, and since then Akira will become incredibly clingy, even when in the inside he is pretty much the same and has troubles even starting a conversation at first his new confidence slowly lead him to be more and more close to you, becoming part of your life with confident steps but a flustered manner

Akira is and will always be a softy for his darling, he is caring, affectionate and even a little shy at times, he is like an innocent and clumsy teenager whenever he is with his darling but becoming the devilman makes him incredibly possesive, with his new confidence comes a sense of protection and possessiveness over his darling, he can be like a dog in the good and bad side, with you he is like a little puppy wanting your undivided attention and love but with anyone else is leaded by his instict and its always so close to start a fight with anyone who even wants to just talk to you

It can become overwhelming the way Akira started to act with this new confidence, even when he just want to make you happy and keep you safe he is being too much to handle since he end up insolating you in his presence. Akira never meant to make you upsed and, honestly, he will be heartbroken if you get sad or even angry for something he does, after all the more time it passes the more dependant he is of his darling but is that same feeling what lead him to convince himself that everything is alright, he is doing everything in his power to assure your happiness because he can't even process the idea of you don't being happy

No matter if you end up giving up on and play along with him out of fear or tiredness he won't even notice, well, he does notice but he tries really hard to convince himself that you are happy with him because he won't be able to live with himself if he is the cause of your misery

At the end Akira is stuck between accepting your simple tolerance or even fake affection as something sincere and desperately trying to make you truly happy, he goes from one side to another all the time, more than once he had a breakdown because of this, even begging you for forgiveness for making you suffer this way, but it is too late for him, he grow too dependant of you so he vows to himself that he will make you truly happy at his side even if it takes him his entire life to achive it, he can't care less about his own health when his precious darling is so uncomfortable or even scared because of him

Ryo Asuka

One of the biggest problems for Ryo is that he doesn't understand nor care for humans, so when he fall is love with his darling he accept his feelings without problems but without even knowing the extent or true meaning of those feelings, in all honeslty he just accept the feelings and act on the out of curiousity and boredom

Ryo doesn't fall in love quickly, it take time to get to know you first, he needs to get hooked because of the curiousity but when he does there is no power in this world that will take him away from you. But even when he have develop feeling for you he take things pretty slowly because all of this is new for him

Ryo doesn't has much idea on how to act on this feelings, he pretty much just knows that he wants you and he has to have you, still he knows that taking you out of nowhere will make things complicated so he will spend some time collecting all the information about you that he can, wich end up being surprisingly detailed, still, even when he end up pretty much memorizing everything about you he still has troubles to not only aproach you but also understands you

He takes slow aproaches, trying to win your aprovation and trust by any way he can so he can assure that he will be able to gain some control over you before doing anything drastic and he is more likely to go straight to kidnapt you with the excuse of being able to provide you with all you could ever ask for, still there is a chance that he will do it slowly by monopolizing your time until it is too late for you to try run away from him

But despite everything Ryo still doesn't really understand you, he doesn't get why would you be sad when he is giving you all you could ask for or why would you be uncomfortable with him even when he allows you to have your space and time to adapt to your new life, but what confuse him the most is what he feels whenever you act that way, he feels a pain in his chest and his stomach tightens, he doesn't even understand how much it affects him your rejection or fear, how much he hates you being uncomfortable and unwilling to be even just near him

Even so, the moment you simply decide to give up and do what he ask so you won't have to deal with his outbursts and complainings he can easily see that you are still uncomfortable or fearful, he can perfectly see that you just do it so he will stop bothering you so much and despite feeling curiosity to some extent the bitter feeling just increase inside of him, now he feels even worst! now he truly wonders why do you act like this and, most important, why does he feels worst, why he wants so bad to beg you to talk to him with sincerity, without that upsed expression or fake smile, to talk and look at him like how you did when you two were still friends, why he wants so bad to ask you what he can do to make it up for you

Ryo absolutely hates this situation, he doesn't handle well the fact that you have just gave up and surrender in the face of the situation but he can't bring himself to actually be mad at you because what he hates the most is how he feels because of it, that feeling that doesn't understand but torture him everytime he has to look at you and notice how upset you are, and hate even more that he doesn't know what to do now

So the Inverted Hours talents appear to have changed (apart from Teruko) to something in the same general "category", and I'd like to know if the personalities and/or backstories changed as well?

For the small Teruko bit.. yeah I couldn't find a talent that'd be fit swapped, so I just made her luck super good :3

And to answer the actual question, yes!!! With swapped talents comes swapped personalities and backstories!

Here's it summerized

Teruko: Happy home life, supportive parents, a very happy-go-lucky person who trusts everyone wholeheartedly!

Xander: Someone who despises his parents and siblings to the core and prays they suffer a horrific fate, acts like he's above everyone else since he's royalty, and despises people who go against the rules

Charles: His family wasn't very well off. In fact, he lived in poverty for a good chunk of his life but remembers a lot of his childhood. Especially his older brother. He's a very patient person who listens to everyone's point of view.

Ace: His parents supported him every step of the way with his talent and didn't ever push him to stuff he didn't want to. A very joyous little fellow whose personality is exactly like a puppy. He's very fun to be around and a gem to talk to! Though he can ramble about how much he loves training dogs..

Arei: Her sisters were super friendly with her and always played baseball with her in their backyard. They noticed Arei had immaculate talent in it, so they trained her! She's a very outgoing person who tries to bring everyone up to their full potential!

Ro: Somehow, she was able to secure a deal with a huge t-shirt company and get her designs sent to the masses. She's lucky enough to already be wealthy. She's a ball of energy. Sleep is for the weak, after all! (Note: She goes by Ro --- instead of her full name for reasons :D)

Hu: She was always someone who held onto hope for the world, but as she got older, she lost that hope. So instead, she pours her anger and sadness into playing rock music. She's an easily agitated and always upset person. She'd rather die then defend someone.

Eden: She'd always lived a troubled life, barely making a living in life, but she was an incredible mechanic who got her scouted. She holds resentment to anyone who never helped her and is an angry little fella.

Levi: He lived a really happy home life. Everyone uplifted each other and tried to make the best out of the life they lived. Levi's an extremely emotional person. Even the smallest things can make him excited or sob.

Arturo: Due to his younger sister [REDACTED] because she was immensely ill, he wanted to help other children with the same condition as Felicity so they wouldn't suffer like her. But instead of picking up medine, he went down the spiritual path. Though he doesn't force his beliefs onto others, that'd be rude.

Min: Growing up in a well-off home, she spent a lot of time with other kids, leaning the intricate nature of children before studying history and teaching it to children. She's a very outgoing person who understands just how people work.. though anything outside history and people she fails at.

David: He'd always been someone who saw the world in a black lense, even if he was trying to badly see the good in it for the sake of others. He just couldn't. He's someone who's blunt and honest about how awful the world is and doesn't sugarcoat it.

Veronika: Despite everyone being just fine with her talent, she's so embarrassed to admit she loves romance novels. It makes her seem "geeky" and "weird." She's super shy and doesn't enjoy doing anything outside her comfort zone.

J: He absolutely adores his mother and idolized her. No one actually knows his real name (no it's not Julia :3) so he just goes by J. He's a boisterous and Lil happi fella! He's also super dramatic for funzies :3

Whit: Despite being a Prankster, most of his pranks are sad and pathetic. They really fail to make anyone laugh.. it's a shock he was scouted as the Ultimate Prankster. He's almost always crying and doesn't repress any of his emotions for the fear of himself imploding.

Nico: Loud, confident, and HOLY SHIT THEY'RE AWESOME! Nico was the very first. Ultimate I'm their class to happily come out as Non-Binary and their whole life they've been accepted for that!

Also, MonoToaster is a serious and competent tv show host.

I have a question, and I’d love your insight as a fellow wlw who loves Horizon as much as I do!

Why do you think the writers made Avad fall for Aloy in the first place? Ignoring the arguably cringe convo at the start of HFW, did him dirty there after the end of HZD lol, but think about it, we know he’s a bit of a romantic yes, but why make him fall for Aloy at all if the intention wasn’t romance? In HFW there’s even the heart option where you give him hope almost. Do you think it was originally to give him conflict because of the whole Ersa thing, or something else?

I just can’t figure it out. Like, they could have had him be really grateful to Aloy for her assistance in HZD and left it at that so that Aloy has a powerful ally, but they purposefully put the romantic aspect in there and the subsequent rejection of it in HZD. I just hope it isn’t a running joke or something because his character is really interesting outside of the puppy love they keep focusing on. He does some awesome stuff and it’s a shame they’ve reduced him to a one dimensional character.

(And of course I’m removing all “ship” aspects from this discussion, I’m genuinely curious to what you think the writers approach is and I wish we could ask them cause I’m dying to know!)

Oh, this is a fantastic question. I'm very much an Avad apologist--he's genuinely one of the most compelling and tragic side characters in the series--so I've definitely thought about this a lot myself. You're right that he could/should have more interesting contributions and I do hope that's the case in HZ3.

For their exchanges in HZD, I think the answer is manifold. For one, I think his proposition was intended as a character moment for Aloy--it leads to a moment in which the player can examine her in the context of romance/romantic gestures, perhaps for the first time. Just as Aloy might not have been thinking about it until that point in the game, the player might not have, either. So another facet that considers her contrasting context with her companions, and an opportunity for the player to choose how to express her emotionality surrounding it.

But I also do want to point out that so many of the ally side quests in HZD (Varl/the Nora, Erend, Talanah, Namman, Elida, Nakoa, I can go on) center around the idea of grief and all of the forms it can take. Avad is no different! I think it's compelling to examine his proposition to Aloy through this lens. Especially considering the way he apologizes sincerely for his blunder before the final battle, no matter which option you chose at the flashpoint. So I do think it was deliberate, and not to be treated as a joke!

As far as Proposition 2: Sunshine Boogaloo in HFW...sad to say, but Avad suffered from the same writing issues as the other returning companions. This is especially magnified by the fact that his appearance in the story was so small. I'll forever be salty that his character was reduced to "hey, remember when this guy hit on Aloy?" and also "let's reintroduce the flashpoint mechanic" and "hey players: there's not gonna be romance yet" in early-game. He deserved better.

In the scope of new material, it's definitely interesting that choosing heart is always a "not yet" re: Aloy's character. Certainly something to consider as we move forward to the next game 🤡🤡🤡

Milo is a werewolf fanatic and while nate isnt a werewolf he's still a puppy and therefore Milo is gripping onto him. They honestly met by chance

1. Who most initiates PDA?

I would say Cholo simply because Antoine would not want to put pressure/embarss Cholo. Also Cholo is more...dominant? powerful? So he can say "Fuck everything, I want the world to see how much I adore him".

16. Who stays up way too late and who tries to drag them to bed?

Hehe Antoine is totally the siren trying to drag poor old Cholo into bed with his puppy eyes and attitude - just saying "Come on, Diego, you can do whatever you do tomorrow. You wouldn't want to miss me lying in bed (only in my pyjama bottom/socks/nothing)" 🥺 on the other hand, if Antoine is in his worrying phase, Diego would totally be the one persuading him to go to sleep, but there it would literally be the sleeping, maybe a bit of cuddling, that would be on Diego's mind.

19. How do they deal with being away from each other for a long time?

It's very difficult, because they are both somewhat stubborn and don't want to pressure each other too much etc. When Antoine was in Barca, the initial everyday contact slowly died away because Antoine didn't feel like sharing his struggles and Diego didn't want to pursuit him like crazy. And they both felt sad and somewhat betrayed/alone because of that. but maybe this taught them a lesson?

23. Who overthinks the most?

Antoine is usually - when he is his usual self - very happy-go-lucky, easygoing, and relaxed. I think Diego is more of a worrier naturally because of his position as a manager, and also because he's been in love with Antoine for a long time before actually doing anything about it (or responding to Antoine's flirting) simply because he was overthinking the situation a lot and didn't want to hurt Antoine in any way.

27. What random everyday object/activity makes them think of each other?

Highlighters definitely remind Cholo of Antoine's hair 😅 also I think Antoine would randomly sing along to songs on the radio, so whenever Cholo hears any of the songs that Antoine has ever sang, he will be reminded of the French prince.

Antoine would definitely think of Cholo when he sees black clothes, and he would probably even joke about being dressed like Cholo if he was to wear a black shirt + black jacket/blazer.

30. What is their favorite place to kiss the other? (Cheek, hand, closed eyelid, neck, nose, etc.)

THE. EYEBROWS. of Antoine. 🥺 Cholo can't get enough of the softness in Antoine's face, so he always touches, caresses and kisses the eyebrows and Anto's closed eyelids. And of course in the hair, on top of head.... And the hand - the back of it, the palm... Anything that shows his devotion.

Antoine would be very silly and do a little 'boop' to kiss Diego's nose. Just randomly. Maybe it's not even the favorite place to kiss him, it's just exactly the type of silly soft kiss that would completely kill Diego off. And make him blush in a way that no blowjobs ever would.

33. Who has the most nightmares and how do they deal with them?

I think Antoine would speak about them eventually, which would make Cholo stay with him overnight (but then he would be better and not suffer from them). Cholo does suffer from nightmares - maybe when Antoine is away, maybe once he learns about how bad his life was in Barca - and the recurring theme of losing or failing to protect Antoine, his little bird, would appear in his dreams. Once again, Cholo would never want to be overbearing for Anto, but he would just need to make sure that Antoine is alright, although he would try to do it in a sneaky manner without confessing his nightmares.

37. What do they like the least about each other?

I think if we REALLY have to find something, Cholo would dislike (strong word) it would be how badly Antoine can be affected by his "failure" at Barca, how deeply he let all the drama around it affect him, and how he ...wallowed in his suffering? (With the mentality of I deserve to suffer becaus I left).

I don't think there's anything Antoine dislikes about Cholo, but I think he can sometimes doubt his very black-and-white seeing of some things/people (ehm ehm...Felix).

10. What are some non-sexual activities they do together?

I genuinely think in the early days, Klopp would teach him some English. Not like a lecture, but just...in between of the conversation, maybe when he gives Phil a lift. I get a strong "teacher/tutor" vibes from him haha, and I'm sure he would want to help in the early days, to nurture the best in Philippe.

Tbh I think there would be maybe a slight hint of fetishization of "the hot young Brazilian twink who needs to be educated" from Klopp's side oops.

Do we count Daddy as a nickname

I put this in the With or Without You fic - that Jurgen would use the Portuguese endearement "fofo" and it would scare Philippe because he wanted his language to be sort of a safe space where Jurgen cannot enter. This is the early toxic/fetishizing sign. I don't think Philippe would dare to give Jurgen a nickname.

Heyyy guys! hahaha its been a while. i decided to make a blog again so i can post my old works. so here’s one of them. i’ll upload the rest soon :) i hope everyone is staying healthy and well :)

+Episode 1

“Hi, I’m NCT127’s Johnny,” Johnny introduced himself.

“Hello, I’m y/n, Johnny’s wife,” you smile.

“How long have the both of you been married?”

Johnny looks at you for a little while, before facing back at the camera “almost 5 months?”

“How did you know each other?”

You laugh at the question, “I was one of Red Velvet’s stylist, actually. And all SM artists were having a concert, and while I was rushing to find the right room, Johnny was there standing outside his room, on his knees with his arms up,”

Johnny groaned, “that was so embarrassing,”

“And I just saw him there, and everyone was busy, so I had no choice but to ask him for help. And when I reached Red Velvet’s room, he asked me for my number,”

“How long did you date before getting married?”

“We dated for a while actually,” Johnny started.

“8 years,” you continued.

“Who proposed first?”

You pointed at your husband.

“Me of course,” laugh Johnny.

“Babyyy~” Johnny whined, stretching his arms to pull you against his chest. You grumbled, hiding your face in his chest as you went back to sleep.

“Oh? We didn’t know Johnny was a very affectionate person.”

“Wake up, babe,” he whispers against your hair.

You ignore your husband’s words, tightening your grip against his waist. Johnny pressed kisses on your head, forehead and temple, waiting for you to get up.

You let out a soft sigh, fluttering your eyes open. You looked up at your lover with a pout, upset that he woke you up.

“Good morning, baby,” he mumbles against your ear, but the mic picked it up. The emcees cooed at the affection.

“Kiss?” Johnny asks, leaning down to reach your lips but you move away from his face.

You giggle at your husband when he clutched his heart, feigning pain. You felt bad and pressed your small palms on his chest to push yourself up and kiss his cheek.

“Ahh! They’re so cute!!” the emcees cooed.

You pushed yourself up to a sitting position, getting out of bed, pulling Johnny with you.

“Let’s make breakfast!”

Johnny could only smile at you dumbly, following you to the kitchen.

You pressed your back against the counter as you looked up at Johnny with a flirty smile, “what should we make, John?”

Johnny felt like his heart would combust. If only there weren’t any cameras placed in his house, he would’ve kissed the hell out of you.

“Pancakes?” he suggests.

You nodded, turning around to open the cabinet above you to grab the pancake mix. You tip-toed, trying your hardest to reach for the box, but it was hard- especially when Johnny would purposely place everything on the highest shelf.

You didn’t bother asking Johnny for help, knowing he enjoys watching you suffer, finding it cute. You also know that he would end up pressing against your back, reaching the box of pancakes mix for you.

The emcees gasped when they saw your husband reach from behind, pressing his body against your back. They expect you to freeze on the spot with red cheeks, but they were met with you moving away from Johnny to slap his butt.

The emcees let out a disappointed sigh, “I guess y/n isn’t very affectionate?” they ask Johnny.

“She usually is,” Johnny laughs, “but she’s cheeky too. It’s adorable.”

+Episode 5

The scene started with the both of you outside, holding hands quietly.

“Okay, come on, break is over, let’s continue,” says your husband as he got ready to start running.

You whine, letting go of your husband’s hand to run with him. You tried your best to match his pace, but you always end up a few meters behind him.

He looked back at your tired form. You were slouching and had a pained expression on your face. A chuckle left his lips as he jogged on the spot, waiting for you to reach him.

The emcees were curious, it seems like he was forcing you to exercise with him.

“Ah,” Johnny laughs, “y/n has told me how she wants to lose weight,” he explains, “but her way of losing weight is really unhealthy, so I make her go on a run with me.”

“What was her way of losing weight?”

“She would starve herself for weeks in order to lose weight,” Johnny clarify.

“Many of us do that,” they tell him.

Johnny nodded, “It hurts me not to see her eating, at one point we got into a huge fight because she didn’t eat for 3 days straight. So, I made a promise with y/n.”

Once you reached your husband, you pressed the palms of your hands against your knees, panting heavily. “I hate this, I hate you.”

Johnny threw his head back as he laughed at you. His hand stroking your back comfortingly.

“Just a little more, then we can get food,” he tells you.

He waits for you until you were breathing normally.

“Better?” he asks you, scanning your face.

You shook your head, “no, I don’t wanna do this.”

Johnny sighs at your words, “we can stop now, but you can only get healthy food later.”

You jut your lips out, persuading your husband to give you a chance.

Johnny stares at you with a straight face.

“Just for today~,” you say cutely. When you notice Johnny wasn’t giving any reaction, you reach for his arm, tugging on his arm, letting out cute noises. “Today is our cheat day, please Johnny?”

You pout, giving your best puppy eyes. You tiptoed to press a quick kiss on his lips, and that was when Johnny broke down and let out a groan.

“You will be the death of me,”

The emcees let out a roar of laughter.

The scene changed to the both of you in 7/11.

You had a sandwich and ramen noddle in your hands. You reached out to grab a bottle of water while Johnny was trying to find his favourite snack.

You walked up to the cashier to place the items down, waiting for Johnny to pay. The cashier suddenly spoke to you in Korean as you look up at them in surprise.

“Ah,” you start. You bit your lip, unsure of what to reply. “I don’t speak Korean.”

“Oh, y/n doesn’t speak Korean?” the emcees ask Johnny, surprised since both of you were living in Korea.

Johnny shake his head, “she knows basic words, but it’s hard for her to speak in full sentences.”

You notice that the cashier doesn’t understand you either.

Turning around, you call for your husband. Johnny’s head peeked out from the shelves.

“yeah?”

“Uh, I need help,” you say awkwardly.

Your husband trudges towards you without hesitation. You watch as your husband converses in Korean with the cashier. He suddenly fishes out his wallet to pay for the food the both of you have bought.

+Episode 9

The both of you were sitting on the floor, game controllers in hands, playing Fortnite.

Truthfully, you weren’t very good in Fortnite, but your husband enjoys playing games so you would join him.

A little yelp left your lips when you saw a character, near you. “oh my god, babe, save me!” you yell out, running away from the character who was trying to save you.

Johnny didn’t respond to you, too focused on gaming.

“Johnny! Oh my god, help me!”

One of your hand to leave the console to tap on your husband’s thigh.

“Wait, wait, I’m still looting,” he tells you.

“Nooooo,” you whine, “come save me— nevermind, I died.”

Johnny didn’t respond to whatever you said— it’s not like he heard you anyways. Your significant other continued playing the game without you.

You sulk when your lover didn’t pay attention to you. You thought he would leave the game so the both of you could restart and play together.

You got up from your sitting position to go to the kitchen to make some coffee.

Johnny quickly glanced at you when you left his side, then going back to the television that was still playing.

Should he stop playing to comfort you? It would be a waste if he left the game since he was so close to winning. There was only 1 person left. He decided to continue playing until he won.

“Ah, why didn’t you comfort y/n?” asked the emcees, upset with his behaviour. Johnny could only laugh awkwardly.

When the words displayed ‘WINNER’ on the screen, Johnny immediately got up and ambled to you.

“Babe,” he called, not getting any response for you.

Johnny bit back a smile when he saw you stirring the cup of coffee. He walked up to you, his hands going to your waist. He was about to rest his chin on your shoulder, but you walked away from him to sit on the dining table.

“Is this a fight we’re about to witness?” the emcees ask.

Johnny shook his head, “this happens all the time— whenever I would ignore y/n while I play a game,”

“Are you mad?” Johnny asks you, resting his butt on the dining table, knowing you hated it when he does that.

He pouted when he didn’t get any reaction from you.

“Babe, I’m sorry,” he apologizes, “we can play again, I’ll save you this time,” he suggests, tugging on your hand.

You look up to glare at him, “I don’t wanna play with you, you made me sad.”

Johnny wanted to giggle at how cute you were being.

“What’s that?” he asks, stretching his body to see what was in the mug, “oh, coffee, can I have some?”

Before you could even answer, he was already reaching for your cup of coffee and drinking almost half of it.

“Johnny,” you whine, pulling his arm to stop him from finishing your drink.

The emcees tilt their head, “you shouldn’t have done that, Johnny-ya”

“That was my drink,” you tell him angrily, snatching the mug from him when he pulled it away from his lips. He chuckle at you when you stood up, placing your cup in the sink before stomping into your shared room.

“Wait, why are you still smiling when you made your wife angry, Mr Suh?” the emcees interrupted the video.

The attention was on Johnny. He chuckles, “I just like messing with her, she just looked so adorable.”

“I wonder how this is going to go down.”

While you were sulking in the bedroom, Johnny decided to make food for you, just to make up to you.

Leaving you alone for a few hours, he finally finished cooking. He placed your favourite food on a tray, bringing to the bedroom. When he entered the bedroom, you were laying on the bed with your phone in hand.

When you heard Johnny come in, you turn to see him standing at the door with a tray filled with food, a cheeky smile plastered on his lips.

“Dummy,” you mumble.

Johnny walked up to you, placing the food on the white sheets.

“Spill it and I’ll kill you,” you warn him, reaching out to grab the tray carefully.

+Episode 12

The scene started with the both of you walking into a blue building. Both of you started walking around the familiar place.

“Ikea?”

You grabbed a toy monkey and showed your husband.

“Can we get this?” you ask him, playing with the hands.

He grimaced at you, “why would you need that when you have me?”

You clicked your tongue but placed the monkey back before skipping to your lover, wrapping your arms around his arm affectionately.

“Aww, they are so cute!!” the emcees cooed.

Your husband suddenly stopped, looking at a shelf.

“Is this the one you wanted?” you ask him, looking up at Johnny. Your heart beating faster just by looking at his side profile.

He nodded, “I think it’s the right size?”

“What if it’s the wrong length?” you ask him.

“Then I blame you,” he jokes.

You roll your eyes at your husband. “should we get this, then?”

Johnny hummed, nodding his chin towards the cardboard, “help me get it, babe.”

You didn’t think much of it and agreed to take the shelf that was in the cardboard. You tiptoed, reaching for the box. You slowly pull out the long box, letting out a groan when you realised how heavy it is.

“you did that on purpose, didn’t you?” the emcees asked.

After a couple of episodes, the emcees seem to realise Johnny’s behaviour around you.

Johnny nodded, letting out a laugh, “I like being there to help her, and tease her at the same time,”

“Johnny— help me,” you groan, pulling the box on your shoulder, thinking it would balance you.

From behind, Johnny didn’t budge from his position. He was content on watching you cutely carry the huge box. But when he saw you almost drop the box, his eyes widen and quickly reach out to carry the box.

You didn’t realise Johnny’s intention and pull away from the weight. You exhale, “that was heavy,” you say.

“A little,” your husband shrug as if it was nothing.

You noticed how his muscles flex and how he was letting out puffs of air.

“Should I get a cart?” you ask him, feeling bad that he was carrying everything on his own.

Johnny shook his head, “It’s fine, we’re near the cashier anyway.”

The video cut to the both of you queuing up for food. Johnny was standing behind you with the trolley.

“What are you getting?” you ask him, your eyes not leaving the menu.

“I don’t know,” he shrugs, “maybe fish&chips?”

“Okay,”

When it was your turn to order, Johnny started ordering multiple dishes, making you look up at him in surprise. Your hands pinch his waist a little, getting his attention.

“Why did you order so much? We’re not going to finish all that!” You exclaim.

Johnny didn’t answer you, instead, he grabbed the food and placed it on the tray.

“I’ll finish it all, baby,” he scrunches his nose, before leaning down to quickly kiss your cheeks before finding a place to sit.

+Episode 14

The scene started with both of you sleeping on your shared bed. You had your head rested on Johnny’s chest, while Johnny rests his cheek on the top of your head, his arm wrapped around your waist protectively.

The emcees noticed that you had your whole body covered with a blanket up to your nose.

“Isn’t it hot?” they ask.

“It was raining at night,” Johnny pointed out, “and y/n is really sensitive to the cold,”

Johnny was the first one to wake up. Fluttering his eyes open, he blinked multiple times before lifting his head, stretching his arms out to reach for his phone.

“Ah, it’s almost 1pm,” Johnny mumbles to himself.

“What?! Do you guys usually wake up that late?” the emcees asks him.

Johnny shook his head, “one of our friends had a birthday party the day before and we reached home at about 4am,” he explains.

“4am?!”

He chuckles, “yeah. y/n and I are usually morning people, but that day, that day was just a lazy day,”

Putting his phone down, he let out a tired sigh. He laid on his back but kept one of his arms under your head for comfort.

He was staring at the ceiling for a few minutes before tilting his head down to stare at you.

The camera zoomed in to see him staring at you with a stupid smile on his face. His hand went up to stroke your head. He slowly leaned down to press a soft kiss on the crown of your head.

The emcees started going crazy, some letting cooing, some letting out screams at how cute he was being.

“You’re crazy for her! It’s adorable!” they all say. Johnny can only smile shyly.

You finally woke up after napping for a while more. Your hands turning into fists to rub at your eyes tiredly.

Johnny beams at you, “good morning.”

You only let out a whine, throwing your arms across his chest, hiding your face in his neck.

Johnny let out a roar of laughter, his arms that were previously giving your support went up to stroke your back lovingly.

“Come, let’s get up,” he says softly, his fingers reaching out to play with the ends of your hair.

“I’m so tired,” you mumble against his neck, sighing.

“I know, babe, but we can’t stay in bed all day,” he tells you.

He was right, you couldn’t just stay in bed all day, it won’t be good content for the show you were in.

The scene then cut to you sitting on the floor, in between your husband’s legs while Johnny was sitting on the couch, playing with your hair.

The both of you were watching a Korean drama. It was quite intense, so the both of you did not say a word to each other. Both of your mouths were wide open as you focused on the show.

The emcees laughed at both your faces.

Johnny soon got bored and focused on braiding your hair. He didn’t realise that you had started crying because of the sad scene playing.

“Oh, oh, isn’t she crying?” the emcees asked.

“I didn’t realise,” he laughs awkwardly.

Johnny continued braiding your hair. He noticed how your shoulders started shaking and the sniffles coming from you. He let go of your hair and leaned down to your side to see tears streaming down your face.

At first, he was confused. Why did you cry? Did he pull your hair too hard? Did he do something that made you unhappy?

It took him a while for him to realise the reason you were crying was because of the drama playing. He pulled away from you and started laughing at you.

He got out from the couch to slide down next to you, pulling your head into his chest.

“Aw, is my baby crying?” he said in a baby voice, stroking your head fondly.

It took you a few moments for the tears to stop. You pout at your husband as he cups your face, “it was so sad.”

He pats your head, “I know, you’re a cry baby,”

+Episode 20

You were putting on make-up, getting ready for a special occasion. You stood up from the dressing table, showing off the elegant dress you were wearing.

“Woah! y/n looks so pretty, what was the occasion?”

You grabbed a denim jacket that was laying on the bed, putting it on since it was cold outside.

“Babe, are you ready?” you hear Johnny shout from the living room.

You didn’t answer him, instead, you left the room, not forgetting to grab your bag along the way. When he saw you, he couldn’t help but admire you.

He squealed like a little boy, “It feels like I fell in love with you all over again,”

You gave him a weird look before slapping his stomach, “shut up,”

You left to grab your heels, but Johnny stood in place, awestruck by your beauty.

His hand covering his mouth as he shook his head, “I can’t believe I married the prettiest woman on earth!” he shouts, a grin forming on his face.

You turn to look at your dumb husband, “stop being weird!!” you whine, “and put on your shoes, let’s go!!”

“y/n actually brought me out on a date,” Johnny explained. “We actually haven’t gone out on a date after we got married,”

“Woah, seriously?” they ask, “and it has been almost 8 months since you got married?”

Johnny nodded.

You had brought Johnny to your favourite Chinese restaurant.

The both of you made small talk, and some point, Johnny had reached out for your hands from across the table, holding it lightly, he would stroke the back of your hand affectionately from time to time.

When the food arrived, the both of you started digging in.

“I’m so full,” you huff, rubbing your stomach.

“Should we get the fortune cookie?” asked your husband.

You nodded.

Your heart felt like it was ready to combust, your palms started sweating at the thought of Johnny finally finding out the secret you were keeping.

“Why does she look so nervous?”

Johnny grabbed the fortune cookie excitedly. He quickly cracked his open, reading out his fortune.

He didn’t say it out loud, but you already knew what it said.

“What does yours say?” you ask nervously.

He frowns at the piece of paper. “Daddy,”

“Oh?” the emcees say, surprised.

His eyebrows furrowed at the weird fortune but quickly put it away, looking up at you with shining eyes.

“What does yours say?” he asks you.

You shrug, “I haven’t opened it yet,” you mumble softly. Your fingers crack open the cookie, taking out the piece of paper in the cookie.

“Well? What does it say, babe?” he asks again excitedly.

You gulp. “it says I’m pregnant.”

The emcees scream in happiness and in shock.

Johnny fell silent, “what?”

“It says I’m pregnant,” you repeat again. You felt nervous at his lack of reaction.

He frowns, “this is not funny, y/n. what does it really say?”

You showed him the small piece of paper that you were holding. True enough, the paper did say ‘I’m pregnant’.

He looked up at you then back at the paper, then back at you again. “what?” he whispers.

“I’m pregnant,” you confess, “surprise?” you mutter awkwardly.

“Is-is this a prank?”

You smile, shaking your head, “it’s not a prank, baby.”

“There was a reason why I actually brought him out for a real date,” you tell, looking straight in the camera. “we have been trying for a baby for a while now, and Johnny has been wanting to have one for a long time,” you explain, letting out a small laugh.

“I went to the restaurant to request a personal fortune cookie and told them my plan and everything- thankfully they agreed!” you say.

“oh my god,” Johnny gasps, “r-really? This is not a joke?”

You crack up at your husband, “why would this be a joke?”

Johnny suddenly stood up, you stand up with him. He walks closer to you, holding your arms.

“I love you so much right now,” was the last thing he said before he pressed his lips on yours.

You couldn’t help but grin, resulting in him kissing your teeth instead.

Johnny pull away, pouting at you, “how long?”

“3 weeks, you big baby,” your hands going up to squeeze his cheeks.

“I literally love you so much,” Johnny express, “you make me so happy, baby.”

You held Johnny hands tightly as the both of you look in the camera.

“Were you surprised, Johnny?”

“I didn’t think much of it at first, then when y/n said she was pregnant, I thought it was a joke. But I’m so happy right now.”

“How long have you been pregnant right now?”

“A little more than 14 weeks!” you tell them, beaming at the camera. You stood up to show the little bump in your stomach.

“Do you know the gender of the baby?”

You looked up at Johnny before looking back in the camera, “we wanted to keep it a surprise!”

“How do you feel right now, Johnny?”

He hum, “I think, like every other dad out there, I am excited. I can’t wait to meet my newborn and spend all my time with them,”

Johnny reached out to stroke your belly.

“However, we don’t want our child to be exposed to the world we live in,” Johnny continued.

You nodded at your husband’s words, “A world where he or she will live with cameras everywhere,” you explain further.

“So, we want to thank the cast of this show, and our fans who have shown endless support to both y/n and I,” Johnny says, “y/n and I have decided to leave the show and start focusing on us and our future child,”

“It’s a shame really,” you continued, “it was really fun filming for the show.”

Johnny nodded in agreement, “hopefully our fans can respect our decision and continue supporting us regardless.”

The best thing that Yoosung can do for you is to do his own work. The two of you spend a straight 48 hours in the library, only taking breaks to go home and sleep and get food. You book out a private room and just mutually get your heads down.

Yoosung’s actually really smart, he just doesn’t apply himself. If you’re stuck on anything, he’ll try to help you even if he doesn’t know anything about your course. He’ll also run around the library finding you specific textbooks you need if he needs a walk or if he’s on his way back from getting you both a coffee.

The life of a student is a hard one, but the two of you just keep reminding each other than you just gotta get through this one deadline and then you can sleep and play to your hearts content once again!

Zen/Hyun Ryu with a stressed out Reader Headcanons

It’s times like this that Zen thinks maybe he should have applied himself more in school, or at least got his qualifications, because he feels a little deflated at the fact that he can’t really help you with your work when you need it. He just looks at your laptop and textbooks and draws a blank. He hates seeing you so stressed, and he hates that he’s useless to help even more.

He figured that, if he can’t help you work, the next best thing would be to help you relax afterwards. He tries to keep out of your way, the best he can, but he gets a little sad and feels neglected, so he’s a bit like a puppy when he can sense you’re close to finishing up for the day.

Zen thinks a nice, hot bubble bath would help you relax best. He’ll run you one when you close your laptop, leading you to the bathroom where he’s already sprinkled some rose petals and sweetly scented body oils into the steamy water.

He’ll help you in, and then sit on the side of the bath and give your shoulders a rub, commenting on how they must ache after sitting at your desk for so long. It’s no secret that Zen has ~Magic Fingers~ and he massages away the tension in your neck as you melt into the soothing water.

He’ll hum and sing little songs to you as he does this, finally happy that he can help you in his own special way. Ignore his comments about stress ageing you quicker, he’s just saying it as a pre-emptive measure rather than implying you have stress lines.

Jaehee Kang with a stressed out Reader Headcanons

Jaehee exists in a permanent state of stress, so she entirely understands what it’s like to have to meet deadline after deadline after deadline. If you tell her that you want to sit with her so you can share her concentration and get work done, she’ll put on a fresh pot of coffee. She’s also ready with the eye drops and painkillers for when your eyes get strained, but she’d really rather you not get to the point of needing them.

Jaehee reminds you that you need to look after yourself, make sure you’re taking breaks and eating enough. She doesn’t want you to follow in her steps of pulling an all-nighter, so she doesn’t disturb you so you can get as much of your work done as possible. If you want her to, she’ll also gently reprimand you when you’re getting distracted or off task. She doesn’t like telling you what you can and can’t do, but she knows it’s going to help you in the long run.

She’ll aim to get all of her work done at the same time as you, so the two of you can at least have some time to unwind together afterwards. She’ll put your favourite musical (of Zen’s) into the DVD player and you cuddle up with one another in recovery. She’ll also try to pull you in for an early night of sleep since you’ve been staring at a screen all day and doesn’t want you to get a headache.

Jumin Han with a stressed out Reader Headcanons

Jumin never really gets stressed out over anything. In fact, the only things you’ve ever seen him get stressed about are you and Elizabeth the Third. He doesn’t really have the need or see the point in getting stressed over things, especially deadlines. Jumin will absolutely go off on a speech about correct time management and planning before you have to interrupt him and tell him that that’s not the problem.

Having a Mensa-level IQ, Jumin’s probably already decently knowledge on your area of study, or offers to pay for you to have a tutor. Jumin’s honestly not the best person to be around when you’re stressed by deadlines because he really can’t relate to the panic, he’s too good at being a businessman that he gets everything done on time or, most usually, early.

You do have to remind Jumin that not everyone can function and organise themselves as well as he can.

However, it displeases him to see you stressed so he’ll at least try to help with that since you won’t let him help you academically. He’ll share a bottle of wine with you in the evening after you’ve finished for the day to help take your mind off of your deadline for a bit and will plan a small weekend getaway for the week after your assignment due date to reward you for getting your work done in time and to help you relax. He’ll also book you a spa day in one of C&R’s own establishments so he can guarantee you’re getting the best treatment.

Saeyoung Choi with a stressed out Reader Headcanons

This man lives with more existential fear than anyone. He knows what it’s like to be Stressed TM. Seven’s an absolute genius with an IQ that could rival Jumin’s if he cared enough, so he’s never had to worry about academic worries, even when he was in University.

If you ask him to, and maybe even if you didn’t, he’d be willing to hack your college or University’s database in order to either get the essay questions in advance so you know what to revise, or just straight up get the answers. He knows what frightening deadlines are like and he doesn’t want to see you suffer.

If you say that you don’t want him to hack your university because that’s, y’know, illegal, he’ll earnestly take a look at your paper and try to help. Seven has such a weird widespread collection of information in his head that he can just straight up tell you the essay or directly get the research essay that best fits your argument online. You said he can’t hack your university database, you didn’t say he can’t hack other databases for information.

If you passed out asleep at your desk, you’d absolutely wake up to find your work finished and submitted. Seven will deny doing it, claiming that the alien mothership must have taken your laptop and completed your work, but he has a shit-eating grin plasters on his face and he’s oh-so-innocently fluttering his eyelashes.

Saeran Choi with a stressed out Reader Headcanons

Saeran never really went to school, so he doesn’t have much experience with academic work but he picks it up very quickly when it comes to helping you!

He brings you hot chocolate and snacks and gives you a kiss on the side of the head every now and then to spur you on. He’ll also try to help you with reading through documents and essays for important information and anything that might be relevant to your course. From his time at Magenta, he’s very good at skimming through large quantities of work and compiling it into shorter documents so he’s absolutely a great person to have helping you. He has a similar IQ to Seven and is a genius in his own right, but he has to apply himself more to knowing about different topics because he’s never really had the opportunity to, but he’s always very interested to know about what you’re studying!

He’s very good at not disturbing you if you need peace and quiet, so he’ll busy himself with cleaning, cooking or going out in the garden so he can leave you without a distraction whilst occasionally dropping in to see how you’re doing and make sure you’re not getting too stressed out.

When you’re done for the day, Saeran will arrange the time to give you a little comfort evening with movies and a snack to make you feel better and help you unwind.

Ray would absolutely just do your work for you, if you’d let him. He just wants to please you and see you happy, not swallowed up in stress in the same way that he has to be. He’d go without sleeping or eating if it meant helping you. Of course, you’re not going to let him do that, since you want him to rest properly, but he still wants to help. Ray would send you documents and essays when he’s supposed to be working and then exit the tab whenever anyone walks passed his room so he didn’t get caught. He just wants to ease your burden!

V/Jihyun Kim with a stressed out Reader Headcanons

He’s also incredibly smart, but probably wouldn’t have any major knowledge on what is it that you study but he’d help the best way he can. He’s the kinda person that would encourage you to read through the questions several times before you start answering and to not write anything down until you’re fully sure that you understand the source material and what is being asked of you.

He doesn’t like seeing you stressed and he’s helpful by nature so he’d ask if you needed help, and if you say no, he’ll give you space to get on with your work without interruption. V will make you food and bring your lunch with a coffee when it’s time to eat.

Like Jumin, he’d offer to share a bottle of wine to help you unwind when you’re getting too stressed in the evening, and if you can afford to take a break, he’d encourage you to do something creative like painting with him in his studio in order to take your mind off the analytical stuff. It doesn’t have to be good, it just had to help you relax and vent your frustrations!

V gets stiff shoulders when he’s been in the same position for long periods of time painting or waiting to capture a particular image, so he understands the usefulness of a good back rub and he’ll offer you one to loosen up the pressure in the back of your neck when you’re sitting at your desk. He’ll massage his thumbs into your shoulders and plant a little kiss on your lips when you lean your head back to look at him.

Goodbye’s & Hello’s

A/N: I finally put Y/N’s writing in italics so you can tell when she write. Also we’re delving a little into Loki now, but I will let you all know for anyone hooked on Bucky, I will be making this into a choose your own! I’m not sure which chapter yet, but at some point I will split off and make a Bucky route and Loki route. The Loki route might be a bit longer and more extensive, but that’s only because I am biased and that was the original idea. Thank you all for the love so far on this series. I’m glad you all like it!

A few days have passed since the incident with Loki. Every time you enter the library, Loki gets up and leaves the room, clearly, but not subtly, trying to avoid you. Knowing it’s his private place, you started to take your book from the library and go to Bucky’s room to read instead.

Bucky likes having you around in his room. While he’s showering, reading, or even working out, you follow him around like a lost puppy and he often keeps his arm around you as much as possible. The other avengers are shocked as you too become closer, not expecting two of the quietest people in the compound to become so close so quickly. Bucky even goes to Steve to talk about you from time to time.

You lay on Bucky’s bed as he showers from sparing with Steve. You enjoy spending time with him, even if he’s doing chores and you’re just sitting in the room. Bucky comes out of the shower with nothing but a towel around his waist, making your eyes go wide. He chuckles at your shocked reaction.

“Calm down, I forgot pants.”

You chuckle inside as he grabs the first pair of pants he sees then rushes back into the bathroom. You can’t help but watch the way the water drips down his skin, highlighting every muscle on his body. He really is a fine specimen, you think to yourself, but you try to not let your thoughts get too carried away. The last thing you need is to be aroused around your friend who doesn’t think about you in the same way.

Bucky comes back out fully dressed in sweatpants and a white t-shirt. There's a light blush on his face from the embarrassment earlier as he lays down next to you. You lift your head instinctively as he puts his arm under your neck, resting his chin on the top of your head.

“What are you reading?”

Bucky lifts the cover to show himself.

“Wuthering Heights. Quite the dark and sad book for you,” he chuckles.

Scrunching your eyebrows, you grab his hand and pull out your pen.

What do you mean ‘for me’?

“I mean it’s depressing and you’re full of joy. I don’t want a book to get you down.”

I’m a big girl

You stick out your tongue at Bucky which makes him laugh. He reaches his arm around the other side of you and starts tickling your sides. You lose control of your body as you laugh horribly, spazzing your body to get away from Bucky hands. There’s no emotion but rage as you hear Bucky laughing at your torture. He grabs your book and sets it to the side before he stops tickling you.

As you regain your senses, you look up to see Bucky hovering over you, laying on his side and arm resting by your head. If you didn’t know any better, he was inches away from kissing you, even leaning in, but he isn’t. He stares at you with the softest look in his eyes, a smile on his face.

“Hi.”

You smile wide, still breathing heavy from the tickle attack.

“So I kind of wanted to talk to you about something. We’re all leaving for a mission tomorrow afternoon and I know you’re a bit bummed about not being able to go, but you also know you’re not the most capable of defending yourself.” You shrug which makes Bucky laugh and hang his head, leaning it on your forehead. “Darling, you’re adorable. So, you’re going to be alone with Loki. Is that going to be an issue?”

You shake your head no, but Bucky looks unsure of you. The inside of his eyebrows raise in question and he stares at you deep in your eyes.

“I’m not thrilled with you being alone, but I know you can handle yourself. We’re only going to be gone for three days, so I’ll be home quicker than you know, I promise.”

You smile to reassure his anxiety. Bucky tucks a piece of your hair behind your ear, leaning down to kiss your forehead tenderly. He lays back down next to you and pulls you into him, laying you on top of his body. You can hear his heartbeat from his chest and the warmth from his neck as you bury your head further into him. Bucky adjusts his arms and holds you tight as you both fall asleep.

The next morning, you wake up in Bucky’s arms with a bittersweet feeling. The sun is glaring through the window shades on his face, highlighting his beautiful blue eyes. You stare at him for a good five minutes, stroking his stubble with your fingers very gently.

“It’s rude to stare, doll.”

You’re started by Bucky speaking when you thought he was asleep. You jump a little, making Bucky chuckle and hold you closer to him. He smiles up at you as you look down at him, studying the groves and marks on your face, “I want to memorize you for when I leave,” he teases, “I’d hate to forget this pretty face.

You blush at his kind words and attempt to hide your embarrassment by tucking your face into his neck. Bucky chuckles, vibrating your body against his, and squeezes you tightly. You didn’t know it was possible to get physically closer to him, but he manages to do it.

“I hate to leave you… but I have to, darling.” Nodding your head, you fan your hand over his chest, sniffling in his neck. “Oh, baby, don’t cry,” he smirks, “I’ll be back soon enough.”

Bucky gets up and leaves his bed, searching for his uniform. You stay in bed and admire his form as he walks around, his shirt tightly gripping to his body. He comes up to you and wraps you in his blankets, making you a little shawl of warmth. Finally grabbing his bags, you and him make your way out to the main room where the rest of the Avengers are gathered with their bags.

“Are you ready to go?” Steve asks.

“As ready as I’ll ever be.”

“I’m sorry to leave you alone like this, Y/N. We figured you’d be safer if you trained and controlled your powers a little more.”

“She knows,” Bucky cut in, “We talked about it a little and she understands.”

You give them a smile to assure them that what Bucky said is true. Steve tries to approach you and give you a hug but you back away, making him give you a melancholy smile. Lucky comes up to you and gives you a hug even though you don’t return it. He walks away with the Avengers off to the Quinjet outside. You watch as they leave, Bucky giving you a little wave before the door closes.

Finding yourself in a quiet environment, you make your way back to Bucky’s room where you left the book you had been reading. Time passes on quicker than you expect and you find yourself getting hungry. Checking the clock, you notice it’s seven at night and decide to head to the kitchen.

Loki sits by the bar with his book when you enter the room, much to your surprise. He doesn’t come out of his room often and when he does it’s usually in the library. Ignoring him, you dig through the fridge to find food to make a sandwich. He stays in the room which is also a change of pace. You haven’t spent any time with him since the altercation in the library a week ago. He usually completely avoids you.

You finish making the sandwich and Loki has yet to leave the kitchen. He doesn’t look up from his book once or even mutter to himself. Tapping him on the shoulder, he looks up to see you pointing to your sandwich and then him.

“If you are asking if I want one, I do not. Mortal food does not appetize me.”

Your face drops in annoyance and Loki notices. Rolling his eyes, he closes his book and pays full attention to you.

“Fine, make me one and I’ll see how I like it.”

You give him a wide smile much to his own amusement. You attempt to make a sandwich you think he’d enjoy and slide the plate over to him. Eating your own sandwich, you watch him intently to see his reaction. He takes in a slow bite and chews it, giving you no reaction at all. The silence is deafening and you wish it would be over, but he continues to be quiet until he’s completely done eating the sandwich.

“I could stomach that,” he says, looking up at you with a smirk.

You smile at his slight enjoyment of the sandwich, making this down as a win in your book. Loki doesn’t miss the little smile on your face and smirks when you turn your back to load the dishwasher.

“There’s a book I’d think you like.” You turn around, perked up even more by his joyous remark, “the only problem is that it’s in runes, so unless you’re not willing for me to read it to you, I’d volunteer my services.”

You nod, accepting his offer. Loki stands up and heads for the elevator, you follow quickly behind. As you two walk out, you realize how proud Loki stands, his head held high and shoulders back, like a true king. You always thought he was stoic, but watching him carry himself across the tower shows a new kind of pride.

You enter the library and Loki immediately goes to the book, sitting down beside you at the table. He opens the book, but silently watches you through his peripherals as you get comfortable next to him, leaning your elbows on his chair arm.

“Despite that they lived worlds apart from one another, the norns had decided that Mengoth and Svipdagr were each other's great love.” Loki looks over to see you watching him with big doe eyes. He smirks at your innocent face and keeps reading, “Mengloth, meaning “the one shimmering of jewels” grew up in a golden hall, ruling a flourishing realm of prosperous farmsteads. She dedicated her life to healing the sick and wounded. Together with her handmaidens, she spent her days receiving the injured and suffering on a tall towering mountain.”

Loki continues to read the story to you in his sulky, smooth voice. There is one thing in the stories about Loki that you believe, he has a silvertongue. A way with words. A way with speaking. You find yourself falling asleep quickly listening to his mellow voice.

Loki doesn’t notice when you fall asleep, just that you did. He thinks to himself why a small thing like you would fall asleep next to him, this dangerous monster. You have everything to live for, yet you decide to trust this fallen creature enough. Setting the book down on the table, he picks you up bridal style and carries you to your room.

Laying you across the bed, he takes off the jewelry you have on and covers you with your blankets. He goes to set your necklaces and earrings down on your dresser and gets distracted by the photos. There’s one of you with your parents and brother, smiling in a line in front of your christmas tree. There’s another of you with a boy, smiling while dressed formally and looking at one another.

There’s something with you that intrigues him. You go after the good boys, the heroes like Bucky and the safe choice of boys in school, but why fall asleep next to him? He’s not this superhero with great morals and virtue. He’s selfish, prideful, arrogant. No woman, especially a midgard would want him, not that he’d be interested in a midgardian, but Y/N is different.

He shakes off the thoughts that burden his heart and leaves the room. Closing the door behind him, Loki wanders to his own room where he lays in bed staring at the ceiling. His thoughts can’t help but wander back in. After two hours, Loki is finally able to rest, but even his dreams are flooded with nothing but you.

Okay so this last chapter got me thinking....

1) I have a feeling that the favour he wants from his brother is to protect mo while he’s gone. He tian has even referred to mo as a puppy.

The dog that he thought was killed by his own brother was actually alive but this whole time, he was tramautized. Keeping the dog from he tian worked, until it didnt. Because he became friends with the boys and caught feelings for mo. And thus, thinking about the fact he couldn’t protect his dog that he was so attached to, he is very protective of mo. So just like he Cheng protecting his dog all this time, he wants his brother to protect mo while he’s gone.

2) Mo basically knows HT likes him. Beside the note he’s pretty obvious ☠️ but what is mo going to think when HT leaves? I can imagine mo overthinking. Was it just a joke to HT? Why didn’t he tell me? Why is he leaving? How long has he known? And he’s probably going to isolate himself from everyone and just shut down for awhile. Being upset and sad. Regardless of mo acting like he doesn’t care about he tian, out of all the other people mo knows, mo has started to lowkey rely on HT. HT is annoying but he’s always there for mo. Mo starts to show vulnerability to no one else but he tian and finally open himself up about past experiences that he’s faced. And then the one person he can lean on in his own way leaves? That is going to be devastating for him :(

3) The calm before the storm. We haven’t seen anything with she li in awhile. When he tian leaves, is he going to target mo again? She li has had a “fascination” with mo since he was little and has manipulated, harassed and hurt mo for years. He will not give up so easy. He looks at he tian as completion in his own way. Not per say cause he has feelings so mo but he tian is in the way of getting to mo and to make his life hell. He feels “betrayed” by mo and wants him to suffer. So when he tian is gone and mo is probably the most vulnerable will he attack then? That is unless he cheng, the boys or no’s gang helps mo out. I really hope mo realizes there are a lot of people who love him :(

4) If HT is leaving soon that means Jian Yi is leaving soon after. The only question is when does HT leave. From the beginning of the story, it shows JY and ZZX relationship has changed from how close they are to ZZX being a bit hostile to JY. ZZX knows that JY likes him, and their relationship right now is a bit blurred between a friendship and a relationship. ALSO when HT and JY leave that means Mo and XXZ are going to be alone right? They will only have each other to rely on. But we don’t see them together in the future so do mo and ZZX stay friends in high school?

So many question lol. Please tell me if there’s something that I missed or if I’m wrong with anything but I’m really excited to read the next few chapters 🤗

Historical Simblr Tag Game

I was tagged by @greengreyviolet and indirectly by @pixelnrd. Thank you for the tag!

I’ll tag @sims-through-the-decades and @nooodlenoot sorry if you’ve already been tagged and feel free to ignore!

Let’s jump right into it! I put it under the cut because I wrote so much oof.

1. What has been your favorite time period to play in or which one are you most excited for?

I’ve really loved the 20s, probably cuz I really started being more story-focussed then and so got attached more to the characters. Plus I love the 20s aesthetic. I love my current gen already a lot too (30s) and I think I will always love whichever gen I’m playing at the time the most.

I’m most looking forward to the 60s because I already have a story planned out that randomly came to my head and now I can’t wait to make it happen. Also, I’m always a hoe for that 60s aesthetic.

2. Do you have a favorite piece of historical cc? (CAS or BB)

That’s a hard one because of all the cc I use anyway. But I think I’ll go with the typewriters here and here because thanks to them I don’t need to add a basement computer to access the mccc menus... and there’s just so much stuff you kinda need computers for (jobs, aspirations, etc.), so it’s super helpful.

3. Who is your favorite sim currently?

Did you think I could only choose one?

As I said, I’m still very attached to the 20s gen. First off, Artemisia will always be one of my favourite sims ever. She’s just *chef’s kiss* even though she was just a spare’s child. Then, I thought about whose death notification I’d be most sad about and that’s gotta be Tilly because she’s just so babey and I love her so so much! And Edward is kinda like a problematic fave. He was very fun to play because he wasn’t a “good” person (at least at first) and had such chaotic energy, even just “offscreen” gameplay lol. Plus, he looks like an angry puppy, especially with his natural curly hair and I love that about him.

And when it comes to the 30s gen, I love this dumb trio so much. I already knew I was gonna love them as soon as I started planning them and their dynamic. I can’t wait to publish the rest of their story cuz I love these babies and their stories! so apparently i also love to suffer but shhhh

4. What is your favorite world?

Still Windenburg, maybe it’s because I’m German and it seems most “familiar” to me? Idk but I just love the whole place and it has many different areas.

5. Are you more gameplay or story focused?

I’m more story focussed now. Even when I focus on gameplay, I make up my stories about my sims, so that aspect is always in there somehow.

6. Do you like to play with pets in your historical saves?

Well, Mistletoe the cat is the first pet I’ve had since I got C&D. I love her and I will definitely play with pets again, but I am always scared it will take too much space I could use for other sims.

7. What’s your biggest immersion breaking pet peeve with the game?

Random modern things in the background. I could install a mod that declutters the world, but I have modern saves too and don’t wanna declutter them.

8. What’s your favorite in-game historical item? (CAS or BB)

I love that there’s an antique stove in the game I guess? They really should add more random old items in the game like that. The antique fridge is awesome as well, but those goddamn ramen boxes,,,,,,,,,,

9. What would you like to see as a new pack or asset to the game?

Although I’m done with that gen already, I’d really love a pack that’s 20s inspired or at least somewhere in that direction. Thinking something along the lines of that sims 3 store roaring heights thing.

But anyway..... locking a makeup look to be on all outfits??? Why is this not a thing yet??? The amount of time I would save if I didn’t have to redo everyone’s makeup all the time.

10. What pack do you think is invaluable as a historical simmer?

It would probably make sense to say Cottage Living, but my early generations have been so many years ago that I’ve never played with that pack in a historical context, only in a modern save of mine. So I don’t have that “value” of it personally.

Instead, it’s probably gonna be... Get Together maybe? Like I said, I love Windenburg and I think the aesthetic is (mostly) working, too. Plus, the club system is super helpful and it also has some historical objects and clothes thanks to that castle and the ghosts that come with it.

Get Together also has those Victorian and mid-century things which is helpful if you do the decades challenge, right? Vintage Glamour, too.

11. Do you have a favorite mod to enhance historical gameplay?

Is it basic to say MCCC? In the historical aspect mostly MC dresser because I can just add one or two historical outfits to random townies and just switch them when I need to.

12. What’s your ideal family size for playing?

I need at least three sims, or it gets too boring for me. Not that I get bored of the sims, I just need “more to do” or I get nervous idk. So, somewhere between three and six is best for me.

13. Do you use poses?

All the time lol. I need to sort out some old poses I don’t use anymore, but I’m too lazy.

14. Do you use any overrides in your game?

I have my default skin and eyes but I also have the invisible crib mod. Although I did start just aging babies up to toddlers immediately anyway. I also have a ping pong to tennis override but I’m not gonna use it until one or two gens into the future lol.

15. Do you, or did you, play off-the-grid during your game?

Nah, it wasn’t a thing yet when I would have used it. And even now, it’s just not “finished” enough for me and just pretending works better for me.

16. What lifespan do you play on?

I almost always play on normal. I think by decades nsb is on short? My disney challenge definitely is on short though.

17. What inspired you to start playing a historically?

I’ve always loved fashion history. So much that it was even my dream to study it, but the time I had to choose something to study coincided with my most insecure and depressed era, so I didn’t even dare apply. Now I study something that I can rather than want, but I digress...

I don’t remember how I found out about the decades challenge. It for sure wasn’t on tumblr since it wasn’t that big here then and I’m pretty sure the challenge was one of the reasons I even created this blog. But as soon as I did, I immediately knew it was perfect for me. It basically combines my favourite things into one. And I love doing research for it and stuff like that, it’s so much fun for me.

I’m glad there’s more historical content nowadays because that way I don’t get frustrated at necessary historical inaccuracies in my game as much anymore.
