Ok so, the bashing of 2012 tmnt right? We all know how it’s goes and I won’t get into it but this has kept me up for the past 2hrs so!

12 Mikey hearing about it. I know for a fact he’d be throwing hands with everyone in the room if need be. A conversation of sorts would come to mind. Specifically with the Rise and 2012 teams meeting and their early interactions, arise seeing how rough and tumble the boys are for being 20yrs old, especially with Mikey.

Offhanded comments about how ‘that’s kinda harsh’ ‘you’re ok yeah?’ ‘Why is he so rude?’—

And it comes to a point where 12 Mikey’s patience and fuse has been worn paper thin before he bursts. But not in a Raph way, no in a Donnie/Leo way.

12 Mikey commenting about ‘IDK man your brother seems hella arrogant.’ ‘Your Donnie has a easily bruised ego.’ ‘Your Raph is a pushover man!’ Maybe it’s Rise Mikey who finally just has him snap.

Rise Mikey: ‘Why would you say that about my brothers? You don’t have a right to comment about them.’

12 Mikey: ‘I don’t know man, what give you the right for you and your brothers to talk about mine and how we act?’

Rise Mikey: ‘well they seem harsh and meaner then mine—‘

12 Mikey: ‘and yours seem too over bearing and over dramatic. Listen, if I can’t comment on your brothers then you and yours can’t either. End. Of. Story.’

Mikey is a verbal combatant. While his older brothers Raph and Leo handle the physical combat like champs, Mikey and Donnie as the verbal warriors. He is his brother’s biggest defender behind the scenes and is willing to go to bat for them.

12 Mikey has LITERALLY been through Hell and back with his brothers. It’d take more than a few arm punches, noogies, and teasing to get under his skin.

Honestly, 2012!Mikey would never let any bashing on his family slide. We do have to also remember that although both rottmnt and 2012 boys are ninjas, the 2012 boys are the ones who have more formal training, and have to deal with more serious villains. Cause remember, it's the more serious show, while Rise is a more comedic and laid back show. Like, I'll be honest, the 2012 boys do get harsh on each other but guess what, that's how most siblings are.

Especially if it's only brothers. I had some cousins, who were all brothers without a single sister, and let me tell you that I have had to patch up so many bruises thanks to their rough housing. Do you know how many times my cousins would insult each other like the were each other's worst enemy, only to throw punches at someone who even dares talk bad about their brother? Many many times. I have had to break full on fights because of this.

Hell, I call my own little brother a stupid little bitch boy with no game. Do I think he's stupid? Kinda, but I also know he isn't and idiot, he's literally the number one in his grade. Do I think he's a bitch? 100%, his ass can cry about it for all I care. But would I destroy any person who dares to make fun of him? Of course, as his older sibling only I can make fun of him. My own sister calls me the dumbest fucking bitch in the planet, who could get shot in the head and survive since I never had a brain to begin with. But did I have to stop her from nearly fistfighting some random classmate of mine who tried to bully me? Yes

What I'm trying to say is that sometimes, siblings act like they hate each other, act rude, cruel and mean to one another, sometimes they hit each other, punch each other. But those siblings could also deeply love each other, be willing to sacrifice heaven and earth for one another. Sure, there will be times where some of them could feel unloved and like they don't belong, but honestly a lot of people feel that even when they're showered with affection.

Siblings have different dynamics, not one is better than the other. We can't keep comparing each of their dynamics and going "Oh! These pair of siblings are so abusive tee hee hee!". Just enjoy the goddamn shows and stop bashing one or the other. Like Jesus Christ, this is why I rarely interact with fandoms in general.
