He sure did! In his Fragments sur les institutions républicaines, he details his idea for the education of girls. Which is as follows:

Les filles sont élevées dans la maison maternelle.

(The girls are educated in maternal home)

That's it. And it comes after a lengthily discussion on the education of boys. So it does sound like SJ remembered girls only as an afterthought, and didn't have much to say on the topic. (I mean, he definitely didn't have much to say on the topic because if he had more ideas, he'd write them down).

Now, I am not sure what this means exactly. That girls should not have much education? Or that any education done to girls should be done in the home? (Those are two very, very different options). SJ was big on protecting girls and women from sexual violence (sometimes seen as going outside without a protector), so maybe this is a reflection on that? Don't get me wrong, this whole education for women is a big L from him, but he grew up at a time where female literacy was becoming a norm, at least for bourgeoise girls. They would get some education on things deemed important for a girl; SJ's own sisters were literate. So I doubt he would want girls to have absolutely no education, or only what their mother can teach (?) I mean, maybe? But that would be mega stupid, because you want the woman of the future Republic to know enough about the world so they can instill patriotic values in their daughters, so they can be good mothers and wives of the future republicans, if nothing else.

So my interpretation is that he got caught so much into developing that idea of friendship-filled, Sparta-inspired program of education for boys that he forgot about the existence of girls until late. And he didn't care that much about it, past "yes, girls get some education". So yes, an L from SJ on this one, but it is too limited to conclude what exactly he thought about the education of women or what he saw as an "appropriate" education for them.

I get that the intention behind "went out with a girl last night" from Miri to Kazuki is about the "no homo", but I genuinely don't see it as such? because, for one, I really like open queer relationships. monogamy, while very popular, isn't the end all be all, comes from current heteronormative traditions, and polygamy is very much queer. also the idea of Rei interrupting Kazuki's date only to get hit on himself, and having to confirm that the only person he ever had any feelings about/attraction to is Kazuki, he's just not always emotionally capable of handling him, tickles me greatly.

and don't tell me they don't get married the moment Japan in their universe legislates queer marriage.

1) Miri, in case of one of them passing, would be able to remain with the now legal parent;

2) tax purposes/inheritance rules;

3)...okay, this should've been 1) - they do love each other. it's just in the timeskip we see them from Miri's POV, where they're her lameass dads making bad jokes and enjoying harmless teasing in front of her.

Ok I need someone to tell me how hot of a Good Omens take this is because I mentioned it on reddit (my mistake for being there tbh) and got downvoted to hell and idk if it's because I'm super wrong or just that reddit is mean.

So during The Fight™, people seem to be in concensus that Crowley is trying to run away to the stars again, but I didn't see it that way? Or at least, his heart is absolutely not in it.

The way I see it, when Crowley says they can go off together like Gabriel and Beelzebub, he means that in a "we should be a proper couple" way, not in a "we should also go to the stars" way because the next thing Crowley says is "you can't leave this bookshop". He's saying that Aziraphale can't leave the bookshop, and neither can he because that's where they're supposed to be together. He wants to get away from heaven and hell by staying on earth, unbothered by the sides.

I mean, he expected them to go to breakfast at the Ritz after this, he made tentative friends with the neighbors, he cleaned up the bookshop while he waited. Nothing about his actions leading up to this fight gave off a "lets leave earth" vibe. And during the fight, he parrots off a couple of his old lines about getting away from heaven and hell together, but the context is all different now and he doesn't seem to want to leave earth.

In the same way that I don't think this "I forgive you" means the same as the one last season, I don't this "go off together" means the same thing. But I could be totally wrong! Most posts I've seen about this disagree with me but I just think the bookshop line doesn't really make sense if he was actually saying they should leave.

3-what is your wol's evening routine? do they prepare for the next day? do they just wing it? do any weapon or gear upkeep? just pass out because that's tomorrow them's problem?

Chuu in her usual non-WoL setting tends to make everything her Future Self’s problem, but she likes to wash her face and brush her hair before bed, and will snuff all the lights and close the curtains tight against the morning light before putting on an eye mask anyways and curling up in a marble alcove bed with the curtains on that closed TOO. Do NOT disturb! (Despite the fact that she can and will fall asleep in her workshop, lights on, chaotic music blasting, Sprawled in an uncomfortable position. If she’s CHOOSING to sleep in bed it’s going to be Comfy.) Her weapons get upkeep in the morning while she’s slogging through yogurt and granola or eggs and bacon or pancakes or, archon loaf sliced thick with melted butter and fruit preserves smeared across its toasted surface (depends on what Tuesday/Talia/Whoever’s home at the FC makes in the morning. Archon loaf is for when it’s just her, because it’s filling, and she has trouble caring what it tastes like when she’s alone)

Her WoL-iverse self cleans her gun before bed, and sleeps with it under her pillow, even if that’s wildly unsafe, lmfao. She’s a little high strung during many of the expansions though. Tired of being caught on the back foot. She’ll spend late nights fine tuning her drone to see if she can’t amp up the firepower without sacrificing mobility. Face washing/hair-brushing takes a back seat in evening care, and she gets really scrungly over time. That said, her weapons are meticulously maintained and her armor is kept in good repair, even if it means seeing a local mender in every town to touch things up at every opportunity. She’ll grab 20 winks in any situation though. Chocobo-back. During a long-winded explanation on the mission. Boat rides. Sitting too long waiting for people to gather up for a meeting… In Maggie’s Cockpit with autopilot on for trekking across the Steppe from Reunion to Cirina’s…

4-how does your wol's echo manifest itself? do they see visions as they happen? all at once? delayed? do they get any physical symptoms from it?

Her (non-WoL) Echo manifests in splitting migraines being tuned to Mechanical Creations- where Krile can sort of see the intentions/voice of the Soul (from what I can recall it’s been a minute) Chuu can, hear the voice of the machine? In a sense- I described at as Interfacing once and I stand by that. Things that can’t normally be programmed or looked at without some sort of external screen or input pad she can kinda, bypass. By being the Screen+input (think…… matrix… I guess..? Or Augmented Reality…??) …. This does give her migraines and occasionally nosebleeds but it doesn’t really cause her to hesitate wanting to do it again. A machine is easy and clean cut to understand compared to People.

I hadn’t given her ‘WoL-canon’ echo a lot of thought outside of it operating as it does on the tin, since even though she’s my main and going through the MSQ first she… isn’t/desperately doesn’t want to be the WoL, but, crucially, there’s a few plot beats where the Echo working as a review of the souls past memory is pretty important, and the weird support echo I gave her doesn’t play into that very well, lol.
