Loop: Star creature made of wishcraft (i think?), they them pronouns user, they're literally so pretty, i never got to two hats but i'm like 90% sure they have a secret boss fight which is cool, weird relationship with Siffrin who is also technically them iirc??? Literally cannot tell what to call what ever they have going on but its funky

King: Oh believe me, he's not [cool]!! He's understandable but unforgiveable!! He made himself grow into Basically His Own Mech-Size using incredible forgotten magic and started marching across the country slowly enough to let anyone try to stop him... or to let people try to save themselves, if they would rather abandon their own land than welcome their fate-- this is conjecture, on my end. I've been thinking about egregious monster so much for so long. I'm writing a years-long character study about him just to try to dissect how the hell anybody gets to that point. Do NOT vote for the King because he's cool, he's NOT COOL HE'S VERY BAD, but vote for him because he's so damn well-written and internally complex and INTERESTING!!!

I'm so curious about your in stars and blood au!!!

I have so many questions!!! Like, did bigfrin get out of the loops or did they do something different in the final act. Did loop still make the "i want help" wish in this au? How do the people of dormont not see bigfrin? Can they not see them, or are they like, hiding from view behind the tree or something?

Now I have the image of very obviously hiding behind the favor tree while the fighter is near lol :3.

- The Stars is from a bad ending of ISAT act 5 where his family couldnt calm him down in time and he accidentally destroyed the world. he was brought into the SAAP world through a mix of the Universe upholding his wish and a cry for help from the Traveler

- The Traveler makes a couple wishes throughout the story!! one of them is a wish for change, which is what brings Stars in, and the other super important one is in this au's equivalent of act 5, where they wish everything to stop, temporarily freezing the world and causing them to start transforming into ISAT Loop, just like how ISAT sif turns into Bigfrin!!

-Stars isnt usually as big as i drew them in the comic lmao- most of the time they sit at around 3-4x Traveler's size, but grow with strong emotion. they usually hide in the leaves of the Favour Tree but have been spotted on occasion. most of the time its harmless and just leaves the witnesses with a splitting headache (see: the colour red) but. if that person happens to be one of Traveler's party, then Stars will force a loop to make them forget they ever saw him. this has happened at least twice with the Fighter

Okay, so. SAAP Siffrin gives up. Makes a new wish. But instead of wishing for help or whatever, he wishes that they (meaning their family) understood. That anyone understood.

So they become Loop. And now, someone else is looping instead of Siffrin. So they can understand. Maybe it’s the whole family. Maybe it’s just one person. Maybe they loop round robin style.

IR QUESTIONS R AMAZING AAA

OKAY OKAY so!!!!! Yes! They do fold up like bird wings do!

AND. They CAN scrunch and fluff up! Siffrin does this a lot unintentionally, so when his wings are visible they are his one great weakness because anyone can tell what they’re feeling based on the way his wings react to their emotions. So, take it like this:

Anger and fear are hard to tell apart with Siffrin, since both emotions cause very very fluffed up wings, but the main things are the way their wings are positioned and how much they are shaking. With anger, usually their wings are positioned higher up, kind of like shoulders raising closer to the ears. On the other hand, with fear, the wings are positioned similarly but are lower and are kind of tucked around their body. And their wings are shaking more.

I forgot to mention but his tail fluffs up too. Like. Y’know long haired cats and how their tail goes POOF when they get all scared or angry? Imagine that and apply it to Siffrin’s tail and you have what I’m imagining right now.

OKAY OKAY i can try to explain the Loop and Siffrin… sifuation (💀), if you will.

So, when Loop was SAAP!Siffrin, they had the same wing shape and such as ISAT!Siffrin, BUT when they became their star form, their wings changed to more bat/dragon-like. In chapter 5, they get their human form back, and their wings are changed to a more pygmy falcon-like shape. This is because Loop’s human form is very very different from Siffrin already, The Universe just added that to further differentiate the two.

Deep down, Loop will always have similarities to Siffrin that they cannot shake, and it will always be like that. The two will always be linked together in some way.

OKAY OKAY SIDE CHARACTERS TIME UGHHHH IM SO EXCITED AB THIS!!

Okay so, first we have Magnolia. She lives in Baeles, a country west of Vaugarde. She has lahore pigeon wings and she has many pet doves and rock doves and some other birds and one of her doves is named Prince, he will be relevant in the Baeles chapters of the OTC Prequel. Magnolia will end up becoming a super important person to Siffrin. They’re like one of my favorite duos in the Prequel.

Then there’s Wolfe! An Islander who lives in Poteria! He has bald eagle wings, and he is a very very silly guy I adore him. He’s very very introverted, close-minded, isn’t one for small talk. He lives in a remote area.

Then there is Scylla! Scylla live/d/s in Kaia, Vaugarde. I like Scylla a normal amount (<——— bold-faced lie). They will be relevant in the later pre-canon chapters! Scylla has like… parakeet shaped wings? And their wings are dark colored with lighter speckles.

Posting WHIM today but i just read over one of your questions and it’s smth like what wing shape does Siffrin have n stuff. So!! I shall answer your questions!!

Siffrin’s wings are kind of, like, longtailed-tit shaped? So they look like this to an extent, excluding the colors?

Siffrin is flightless, since his wings are too small to fly. This is due to a birth defect he has, permanently stunting his wing growth, making them abnormally sized.

Due to this, Siffrin often hides their wings, ashamed of the fact that they are essentially useless. The rest of the party have caught on to this insecurity, so they often try to help him feel better about their wings.

And because i have the opportunity, I’m gonna yap ab Euphrasie and The King’s wings too as much as i can without spoiling anything 💀

EUPHRASIE! My girl! She’s got snowy owl wings!! They look like this, wing shape and color!!

Unlike Siffrin, her wings are normal. She can fly using them. I don’t have much to say about her wings LOL.

The King! The closest bird I know of that I can think of that represents his wings most in terms of shape is the harpy eagle.

As for colors, his wings are near identical to Siffrin’s. In both his Craft-powered form (before Mira freezes him in time in act 5), and his form that he takes when he’s frozen in time, his wings are massive.

I FORGOT ABOUT LOOP SO IM GONNA YAP AB LOOP TOO. Their wings (human form) are shaped like a pygmy falcon’s, except bigger.

In their star form, their wings are shaped kind of like a bat’s! I say kind of because i ngl can’t draw bat wings so i lean more toward dragon-esc but whatever floats your boat. Bat, dragon, the wing shape’s pretty similar.

Patterns on wings are oftentimes a mix of each parent’s. Of course this is excluding physical mutations such as albinism.

maybe one day i will draw every Islander’s wings….. maybe… IF YOU WANT ME TO COVER ISLANDER SIDE CHARACTERS IN THE OTC PREQUEL LET ME KNOW CUZ THERE ARE ISLANDER SIDE CHARACTERS IN THE PREQUEL AND I HAVE SO MANY IDEAS FOR THEM….
