I was in the temple of the Urn of Sacred Ashes doing the god forsaken floating tile puzzle, and when I clicked on Alistair, he just went my love?

And while a simpler man may acknowledge this as a glitch, I, for one, elect to fully embrace this as canon

Orest, in the middle of a floating, magical bridge, just calling out to Alistair to ask him to move to the next spot, and Alistair responding with my love? and Orest's jaw just dropping as he tries to fight laughter and responding next tile, my love?

Alistair realizing what he said and the inside of his helmet starting to heat to a hundred degrees while Orest just keels over laughing, Alistair threatening to mess up the puzzle and let him drop, all while Leliana and Wynne look on, half in amusement and half in horror at the fact that this is happening in the Temple of the Urn of Sacred Ashes.

aaand we're off to a yaoiful start! delightful

i'm absolutely loving this so far. i really enjoy a good series that puts a 'twist' on a classic and/or popular genre like fantasy or isekai, but sometimes the series that play it perfectly (or near-perfectly) straight are just delightful as well

this is such a simultaneously refreshing and nostalgic dose of classic shoujo fantasy adventure, and i really vibe with that. same feeling i had about amatsuki (same mangaka)

do i think it's going to be exceptional? not really. but do i think i'll enjoy the hell out of it? for sure

the characters' designs and personalities are pretty good so far, though nothing really stands out as super memorable to me like the... hair scarf... situation... of amatsuki......... (i did not forget. i will never forget) but even so they're shaping up to be a fun bunch that i think i'll enjoy seeing every week. hijinks! they seem very prone to hijinks, what's not to love about that

i am begging on my hands and knees for jon matteson and bryce charles to sing a song together. since i first watched npmd, every single day without fail i have thought about their harmonies together in hatchet town (“if he gets me next i could be three” and “fits the bill, he fits the bill”) literally the sickest harmonies in the entire show, i turn into a little gremlin every time i hear them. their voices sound SO good together it actually makes me a little ill. my favourite song my favourite line my favourite harmonies, their voices blend perfectly and i am so desperate to hear them sing a duet to hear them singing together again pls pls please pls pls pls. pls.

I do have complicated feelings about what's happening to the guy right now, but I do also find it a little bit funny that I started a parasocial nemesis-ship with james so/merton (it's not a good look for me, you should only lend space in your head for youtubers you do actually like) because his video essays had so many factual errors and it always seemed like he had no idea of what he was talking about... and thanks to hbomb's video, it turns out it appeared that way because he really didn't know what he was talking about.
