Note
Could you maybe do a reversal or Arevik's request? As someone who struggles with their body image the other way around.
A/n: I was actually planning on this. Now I write this for you :) I hope you like it!
You struggle with your body image
Vi, Jinx, Caitlyn, Ekko, Jayce, Viktor, Mel
Masterlist
Vi
Vi notices your discomfort with your reflection long before you voice it. Sheâs observant, her sharp eyes catching how you pull at your clothes or avoid mirrors.
"Hey, you donât have to look like anyone else to kick butt, alright? Trust meâIâve seen you in action." Sheâll say it with conviction, her tone brooking no argument.
When she realizes how deep your struggles run, she doesnât push, but sheâs always there. Sheâll drag you to a boxing gym one day, not to force you to fight but to show you how strong you are.
"Youâve got nothing to prove to anyone," she tells you after watching you land a perfect punch.
Jinx
Jinx is chaotic but fiercely protective. She notices your hesitation to eat or how you tug at your sleeves and immediately declares, "Whoever made you feel like this? Iâm blowing âem up."
She tries to cheer you up in her own unpredictable waysâdrawing exaggerated portraits of you that make you laugh and reminding you she doesnât care about appearances.
"Youâre my favorite person, you know that? And Iâm the smartest person in Zaun, so... my opinionâs the only one that matters."
On bad days, sheâll cuddle up next to you, her arms tight around your waist, mumbling, "Iâve got you. You donât need to change a thing."
Caitlyn
Caitlyn notices the subtle changes in your mood when the topic of appearances comes up. She approaches it delicately, waiting for you to feel safe enough to open up.
When you finally do, she listens carefully, her eyes soft with understanding. "Youâre beautiful as you are, but I understand how hard it is to feel that way sometimes."
She makes small changes to help you feel more comfortableâlike buying clothes in cuts and fabrics youâd like or planning outings to places where you wonât feel judged.
Caitlyn constantly reinforces how much she values you, not just with words but through her actions. "Itâs okay to struggle. Just donât forget that youâre never alone in this."
Ekko
Ekkoâs no stranger to insecurity, so he picks up on your struggle almost immediately. He doesnât push you to talk about it but offers little reassurances whenever he can.
"Youâre stronger than you give yourself credit for. And no one else gets to define whatâs worth loving about you. Thatâs all you, alright?"
On hard days, heâll distract you with his projects or take you for a ride through the Lanes, showing you the world through his eyes. "This city doesnât define usâneither do the things we donât like about ourselves."
Heâs endlessly patient, always reminding you of your worth without overwhelming you.
Jayce
Jayce struggles to grasp the depth of your feelings at first. Heâs used to being confident and assumes a pep talk will fix it. "Youâre amazing, okay? Donât let anyone tell you otherwise."
When he realizes itâs more complicated than that, he shifts his approach, becoming more attentive. He starts noticing when youâre withdrawn and subtly adjusts his behavior to meet you where youâre at.
Heâll pull you into a tight hug, his voice warm as he says, "Whatever you see when you look in the mirror... I wish you could see what I see."
Jayce is big on small gestures, like leaving notes or little gifts to remind you of how much he cares.
Viktor
Viktor is deeply empathetic and picks up on your struggles quickly, though he doesnât address it outright at first. Instead, he starts spending more time with you, letting his quiet presence offer comfort.
One day, as you stare at yourself in the mirror with a defeated look, he speaks softly but firmly. "Iâve spent my life defying limitationsâdonât let your mind be one of them."
Viktor gently encourages you to focus on what your body allows you to do rather than how it looks. Heâll share stories of his own insecurities, hoping it helps you feel less alone.
On particularly bad days, he simply takes your hand and reminds you, "You are enough. You always have been."
Mel
Melâs approach is thoughtful and calculated, but her warmth shines through in every interaction. She notices your discomfort almost immediately but gives you the space to come to her.
When you do, she listens without judgment, her hand resting gently on yours. "Thereâs nothing wrong with you," she says, her tone firm yet kind. "But Iâll help you see that when youâre ready."
She introduces you to self-care routines that help her feel confident, but sheâs careful never to make you feel pressured. "You donât have to change a thing to deserve loveânot from me, not from anyone."
Mel is fiercely protective, shutting down anyone who dares make you feel lesser. Her love is constant, unwavering, and she ensures you feel it in every word and touch.

Hearbreak Anniversary with Rafayel
Summary: It was your anniversary with Rafayel. One year of togetherness. But what if he does not show up when you expect him to? What if he was spending it with MC? Pairing: Non MC! Reader x Rafayel Note: MC in this fic goes by the name Lina (my name... so if you are angry, you can be angry at me :3). This oneshot was based on this request. I will write this for the other LADS men too. Content Warning: Fear of abandonment, self worth issues, angst, hurt and slight comfort, Rafayel grovelling, Rafayel POV
The soft glow of the sunset filtered through the gauzy curtains of Rafayelâs studio, painting the space in warm hues of gold and orange. The place smelled faintly of himâa mix of turpentine, salt, and the faint trace of his cologne. You had spent hours here today, your hands busy arranging the decorations youâd so carefully prepared for this special occasion. Sea shells, shimmering like iridescent pearls, lined the edges of the room, their opalescent beauty a nod to the ocean he once called home. Candles flickered softly on every surface, their flames dancing to an unseen rhythm. Youâd even managed to find strands of silken seaweed and glass ornaments, hoping to evoke the beauty of his heritage, the beauty of him.
Every corner of his art studio had been dusted, tidied, and then transformed with touches of magic, warmth, and care. You even placed the tiny trinkets and mementos you had kept from your shared momentsâlittle souvenirs from your adventures together, knickknacks that held meaning between the two of you. You wanted him to feel at home, to feel the same sense of belonging that you had with him. You even wore your best clothes, the ones he had once complimented.
Today was your first anniversary. The thought alone sent your heart fluttering, and youâd poured all that love into this space, into this moment.
A few months ago he had told you this was just another day for him. A godâs sense of time was different, fleeting, perhaps even insignificant. But to you, it meant everything. It was a celebration of love that had somehow defied the oddsâof a mortal heart tangled with one belonging to something far greater. So you ignored the whispering doubts that crept into the back of your mind, choosing instead to focus on trust. Rafayel had chosen you, not her. No matter how many stories tied them together, no matter the whispered inevitability of their connection, he had assured you. It was you he loved now.
But as the hours passed, that fragile trust began to tremble.
You sat in the chair by the window, smoothing down the dress youâd picked especially for today. Time crawled. The soft golden light of day gave way to a dark, yawning sky, and still, Rafayel didnât come home. The anniversary dinner, meticulously prepared and carefully plated, sat untouched on the table. Each tick of the clock became a cruel reminder of his absence.
Worry gnawed at you. What if something had happened to him? Perhaps the art sale ran late, or he was caught up with his patrons. But he always came back home, right?
Your heart twisted as you reached for your phone, dialing a number you didnât want to use but needed to.
âThomas?â you asked hesitantly, your voice trembling.
âOh, hey,â Rafayelâs manager greeted casually. âEverything okay?â
âIs Rafayel still at the sale?â You tried to keep the panic from seeping into your tone, but the silence on the other end was damning.
âUh⊠no, he left hours ago. Said he was going to grab dinner. Lina was with him.â
Your grip tightened on the phone, your knuckles turning white.
Lina.
The name struck like a knife.
âThanks, Thomas,â you whispered, hanging up before he could ask anything more.
You sat there, staring at the flickering candles, their light casting long shadows across the studio walls. He was with Lina. On your anniversary. You had trusted him, convinced yourself that you were enough despite the insecurities that had clawed at your heart since the day you met him.
But now, they came roaring to life.
You had known, of course, who Lina was. She was the one linked to the sea god, his past, his historyâhis heart. You tried not to let it affect you, tried to bury the insecurities that rose whenever she came up in conversation. Rafayel always assured you there was nothing between them. But then why was he with her, of all people, on your anniversary?
Tears blurred your vision as your chest tightened painfully. Lina.
She was everything you were not. Strong, beautiful, a part of Rafayelâs past, his first love. How could you compete with that? How could you compete with someone who had shared so much more with him, someone whose bond with him was carved in the very fabric of his existence? She was a part of him, woven into the his story, while you were⊠just someone who had stumbled into his life, someone insignificant in comparison.
Lina... The woman who was forever tied to his past. The sea god's bride. The one heâd loved for so long, the one who had always been there, time after time. You had told yourself, time and time again, that it was nothing. That Rafayel was different with you. He had assured you that there was nothing between them anymore.
But if itâs nothing, why is he with her now? On our day.
Your fingers trembled as you held the phone to your ear, but you couldnât even bring yourself to ask any more questions. The answers were irrelevant now. His absence, her presence, they were all you needed to know.
Tears pooled at the edges of your vision before spilling over, streaking your face like tiny rivers tracing paths through dusted cheeks. It wasnât fair. Nothing felt fair. He had promised you. He had promised. But promises were like ocean tides, werenât they? Sweeping away whatever they could, leaving only bits of broken shells behind.
Lina was everything you could never be. She was strong, beautiful, powerfulâeverything that Rafayel deserved. She had the sea godâs heart, had always had it, and here you were, just a fleeting ripple on the surface, barely a mark to him. She was woven into the fabric of his past, his future. What are you to him? What have you ever been?
The memories of your relationship, the quiet moments of closeness, the laughter shared under the soft, flickering light of his candles, all those moments seemed so... fragile now. Fragile and fleeting. You were nobody. Just a distraction, a place holder. Nothing more.
You stood up abruptly, the chair scraping against the floor like the scratch of claws on stone. The studio, his studio, filled with remnants of him, was suffocating. His scent lingered in the air, the faint trace of his cologne mixing with the oils and paints scattered everywhere. His taste still clung to your lips from the last time youâd kissed him, the memories of his touch branded into your skin. It was all too much. Too much. The studio, so full of him, was now a suffocating reminder of what you had lost. You didnât want to stay. You couldnât.
You tried to hold the tears back, but it was useless. Every doubt, every fear youâd bottled up over the months came crashing down, drowning you in their suffocating weight.
This wasnât love. This was a cruel game, one you couldnât win.
You couldnât breathe. You had to get out.
Your legs moved before your mind could catch up, carrying you toward the door. The wind hit your face the moment you stepped outside, cool and biting, but it wasnât enough to quell the storm raging inside you.
You ran.
The streets blurred into one indistinct smear of light and shadow as you ran aimlessly, your feet pounding against the pavement, carrying you farther and farther from that studio. From him.
Eventually, the pavement gave way to sand, and the sharp tang of the ocean filled the air. The moon hung high above, casting a silver glow over the beach. Your chest heaved, your lungs burning as you collapsed onto the sand, letting the waves crash against the shore in a soothing rhythm that mocked your turmoil. You kept running, further and further away from whitesand bay, along the beach.
You stumbled, falling to your knees in the sand, clutching your arms around yourself. Your chest heaved as the tears fell freely, the sound of the ocean mixing with your sobs. Lina. You could picture them together, her hand in his, the same way they had been for so many years before you. The seagulls cried above you, indifferent to your pain. And in that moment, you realized that the world didnât stop for you. It never had. You stared out at the endless sea, the dark horizon stretching in front of you.
How could I have been so blind?
The waves crashed against the shore, each one louder than the last. You are nothing to him. The thought echoed in your mind over and over, relentless, until you could barely breathe under the weight of it.
And just when you thought the world couldnât get any colder, the tears started again. They fell freely now, salt mixing with the salt of the sea.
You had wanted to be enough. But maybe that was a joke after all. But even as your body trembled with the weight of the heartbreak, you knew one thing: You could never go back. Not to him, not to that studio, not to any of it. You were just a wave, crashing onto the shore, and he was the sea god.
The night wrapped itself around you like a suffocating blanket. The cold air bit into your skin, but it wasnât enough to numb the ache clawing at your chest. Each crashing wave seemed to echo the bitter truth you couldnât escape: you were never going to be enough for him. You curled tighter into yourself, trembling as the tears continued to flow. The sand clung to your dress, to your damp hands, but you couldnât bring yourself to care. The world had narrowed to the storm raging inside youâa tempest of betrayal, doubt, and misery.
The sharp chill of the ocean breeze whipped your hair against your tear-streaked face, but it was nothing compared to the icy grip of despair coiling around your heart. Every promise heâd made, every word of reassurance, felt like shards of glass now, cutting into the fragile hope youâd built. The waves surged closer, the cold spray dotting your skin. Your sobs mixed with the crashing tide, swallowed up by the vast, indifferent sea.
You hugged yourself tightly, your body shaking as the cold seeped deeper into your bones. Yet, you stayed there, rooted to the spot, as if the ocean could somehow wash away the ache inside you. But no wave could reach that far, no tide could touch the place where your heart ached. You wanted to scream, to shout at the world for the injustice of it all, but the air in your lungs wouldnât let you. You were too small for this world, too insignificant for him. You would never be the sea. You were just a small wave, lost in the expanse of the tide.
Rafayelâs POV
The door to the studio swung open, and Rafayel stepped inside, laughter trailing after him. âYou shouldâve seen the look on that shopkeeperâs face when I said weâd take both cakes,â he said, his voice warm and light. He turned to Lina, who chuckled softly as she followed him, holding one of the carefully boxed pastries. âHe probably thought we were insane.â
Rafayel kicked the door shut behind him, balancing his own box of confections, his grin still in place. âI canât wait to see my cutieâs face when she tries these. Sheâs going to love them.â
But the moment his gaze swept across the room, his laughter faltered and then stopped entirely.
The studio was transformed. Soft candlelight flickered, casting golden hues across the walls. Seashells glimmered like scattered pearls, carefully arranged along the edges of the space. Strands of delicate seaweed draped like garlands, their green silkiness catching the light. Trinkets, small but unmistakably meaningful, dotted the surfacesâeach one an ode to moments he had shared with you. The table was set with plates of untouched food, lovingly prepared, and the air held a faint, tantalizing aroma that now felt unbearably heavy.
He froze, the pastry box slipping slightly in his grip. His throat tightened as his eyes roved over every detail, taking in the love and care you had poured into the space. The decorations, the mementos, the effortâit was overwhelming.
âRafayel?â Linaâs voice broke through the silence. She stepped forward, her brows knitting in concern. âWhatâs wrong?â
âIâŠâ His voice cracked, and he set the box down on the nearest surface with trembling hands. âI fucked up,â he whispered, barely audible. His fingers grazed one of the seashells, its surface smooth and cool. He trailed his hand over a string of seaweed, the soft texture almost mocking him. âI fucked up bad.â
Linaâs concern deepened. âWhat are you talking about?â
Rafayel turned toward her, his expression stricken. âThe anniversary. Our anniversary. It slipped my mind.â His voice was a low, shaky whisper as he glanced back at the table, the untouched plates, the flickering candles. âShe did all of this⊠for me. For us.â
He called out your name, his voice echoing through the space. âAre you here? Cutie?â His steps quickened as he moved through the studio, searching. The bathroom. The bedroom. The small corner where you sometimes curled up to read. âAre you asleep?â he called, though he knew better. Each empty room was another blow to his gut.
Panic clawed at him as he returned to the main room, his gaze darting to the table again, the small trinkets, the soft glow of candles still burning. The room felt haunted, filled with the ghost of your hope and effort.
âShit,â he muttered under his breath, running a hand through his hair, gripping it tightly. He grabbed his phone and immediately dialed Thomas.
âThomas, did sheâdid she say anything to you? Did she mention where she might go?â Rafayelâs voice was taut with desperation.
Thomas hesitated. âShe called me earlier. She asked if you were still at the sale. Thatâs all she said.â
The weight of Thomasâs words slammed into Rafayel like a wave. Youâd called, searching for him, only to learn the truth he had tried to ignore. It had slipped his mind completely. He didnât know you were setting all of this up. For him. For the both of you.
âThanks,â Rafayel muttered, ending the call and immediately dialing your number. He paced the studio, his heart racing as the line rang once⊠twice⊠three timesâ
And then he heard it. The faint buzz of your phone, abandoned on the sofa near the window.
âShit!â Rafayel cursed, grabbing the device and staring at the darkened screen as if it could offer him answers. âShit, shit, shit!â
He collapsed onto the chair you had once sat in, his head in his hands. Where were you? His gaze drifted to the table again, the untouched dinner, the carefully arranged decorations.
How could he have been so blind? So careless? You had given him everything, and he⊠he had been too wrapped up in himself, too foolish to see what truly mattered.
Lina hesitated before taking a few careful steps toward Rafayel, watching his every move with growing concern. Sheâd never seen him like this before. His usual confident, almost cocky demeanor had vanished, leaving only raw distress in its place. He sat slumped in the chair, his phone clutched tightly in his hands, his chest rising and falling with each shaky breath.
"Rafayel..." she began softly, her voice gentle but concerned. "Whatâs going on? What happened?"
Her hand brushed against his shoulder in an attempt to comfort him, but the instant her fingers made contact with his skin, he flinched as though struck. His body jerked back, his eyes flashing with something wildâsomething dangerous. Â His eyes, usually a mischievous swirl of pink and blue, flared into a startling, unearthly bright blue before he clenched them shut, his jaw tightening.
âIâm sorry,â he muttered, his voice hoarse as he pulled away, his fists curling. âLina, Iâsorry. I didnât mean toââ He forced himself to inhale deeply, reigning in his emotions as the scales receded and his eyes returned to their usual hue. âIâm fine,â he lied, though the tension in his shoulders betrayed him. âI just... I need to find her.â
Linaâs hand hovered uncertainly before falling back to her side. âRafayel,â she began gently, âher phoneâs here. Her purse. Even her car keys. Where could she have gone?â
âI donât know,â he snapped, the sharpness in his voice born of self-directed frustration. âAnd thatâs whatâs driving me insane.â He ran a hand through his hair, tugging at the roots as if the pain could ground him. âSheâs out there somewhere, without her coat, without her phone... and itâs freezing tonight.â
Lina straightened, crossing her arms. âThen let me helpââ
âNo.â His interruption was immediate, his tone brooking no argument. He turned to her, his expression pained but resolute. âThis is my fault. I need to fix this myself.â
âButââ
âPlease, Lina,â he cut in, softer this time. âIf sheâs out there, youâll hear from me. Just⊠if you see her, let me know. But I have to do this alone.â
After a long, hesitant pause, Lina relented, her lips pressing into a thin line. âFine. But donât do anything reckless. Iâll keep my eyes open and let you know if I find anything.â
Rafayel nodded, murmuring his thanks before grabbing his coat and storming out into the night.
The cold air bit at his face as he ran through the streets, his breath forming short puffs in the frigid night. He clutched his phone tightly, the screen glowing as he swiped to a recent photo of you, showing it to every passerby he stopped.
âHave you seen her?â he asked a bewildered man on the corner. âThis woman? Pleaseâitâs urgent.â
The man shook his head, muttering an apology before hurrying off. Rafayel grit his teeth, suppressing the wave of panic threatening to consume him. Where are you?
The thought repeated like a drumbeat as he made his way to the beach. The icy wind off the water made him shiver, but he pressed forward, searching desperately. He called your neighbor, pacing along the shoreline as he waited for an answer.
The voice on the other end was soft, a little worried. âNo... the lights are off. The doorâs locked. I havenât seen her since this afternoon.â
His heart skipped a beat, the silence that followed pressing like a weight on his chest. Where were you? Where could you have gone? You were working so hard fore him, for the both of you since the afternoon and he wasnât even there to experience it with you together. He could imagine it, the smile on your face as you placed those shells, the excitement in your movements as you cooked his favorite food. His eyes darted to the horizon, a dark line of water stretching out before him, and his legs moved faster, pushing him toward the shore, toward the place where you sometimes went to escape.
The beach was empty when he arrived, the wind biting at his skin, the waves crashing softly against the sand. He scanned the shoreline, dread filling him as he searched. There was no sign of you, but his heart refused to let go of the hope that you might be here.
He walked for what felt like hours, the weight of the cold creeping into his bones as the night deepened. The autumn air turned chillier, the first hints of winter brushing against his skin. You hadnât taken your coat. You hadnât taken anything. What was he thinking? Youâd never leave without saying something. So why was heâ
His breath hitched as his gaze landed on something ahead. A small lump on the sand.
His heart stopped, the world narrowing down to that single, fragile form crumpled against the cold ground.
âNo!â he whispered, his voice raw with emotion. He ran towards you, his legs moving faster than they ever had before, fear propelling him forward. His feet barely touching the ground as he pushed forward, his every step frantic. He reached you within seconds, his pulse hammering in his ears. He knelt beside you, his hands trembling as he gently touched your shoulder.
âCutie?â he called, his voice cracking. His knees hit the sand as he reached you, and his heart twisted painfully at the sight. You were curled in on yourself, your arms hugging your knees, your face hidden. Tear tracks glistened on your cheeks, even in the dim moonlight, and your body trembled from the cold.
âShit,â Rafayel hissed, his voice barely a whisper as panic surged again. You were cold, so cold. Damp from the wet sand, your skin pale as if the very life had been drained from you. He pulled off his jacket, draping it around you as gently as he could, his hands still shaking.
Why didnât I see it? Why didnât I see how badly she needed me?
He slid his arms around you, his heart aching as he pulled you into his lap, cradling you as though you might break into a thousand pieces. He brushed the strands of hair from your face, his thumb gently caressing your cheek as he whispered your name over and over, praying that you would wake up. That you would hear him. âFuck,â he breathed, feeling a wave of guilt crash over him. âWhat did I do? What the hell did I doâŠâ
But he couldnât. Not now. Now, all he could do was hold you, his arms wrapping around you protectively as he rocked gently, trying to warm you, trying to make everything okay.
âIâm here, okay? Iâm here. Iâm so sorry, cutie.â he whispered, his voice breaking. His mind raced, but nothing could erase the hollow ache in his chest. The thought of losing you, of failing youâhe couldnât bear it. He wouldnât. âIâm sorry,â he choked out, the words tumbling from him like a confession he had never intended to make. âIâm so sorry. I fucked up. I messed this up, IâIâm here now.â
He clutched you tighter, trembling with the weight of his regret. The wind cut through the beach, but he barely noticed, too consumed by the sight of youâso still, so fragile, in his arms. His mind raced, scrambling for something, anything, to fix this
Your eyes fluttered open weakly, barely meeting his. You were too exhausted to respond, your body utterly spent.
âHey,â he whispered, his voice unsteady as he gently tucked his coat tighter around you. âIâve got you. Iâm so sorry.â His thumb brushed the tear-streaked curve of your cheek, his chest aching at the evidence of your heartbreak. âYou shouldnât be out here. Itâs too cold...not like this. Not alone,â Rafayel murmured, his voice thick with emotion. His hands trembled as he tried to warm you, his arms sheltering you from the relentless chill of the wind. âI shouldâve been there. I shouldâveââ He broke off, his throat tightening painfully. Words felt so useless now, but he couldnât stop them. He needed you to know. âIâm the biggest idiot in the world. I forgot something so important, something that shouldâve been at the center of my mind.â His arms slipped beneath you, lifting you effortlessly despite your protestsâif there were any.
Your lips moved faintly, but the sound was lost in the cold wind. He leaned closer, his ear near your mouth. âWhat is it? Iâm here. Please... say something.â
âI thought... maybe you'd care,â you whispered, your voice barely audible. The words struck him harder than any physical blow ever could. He felt the sting in his chest, his breath hitching as guilt twisted the knife deeper.
âI do care!â he exclaimed, his voice desperate. âMore than anything. I was just... I was so caught up in everything else, and IâI didnât realize how much you needed me. How much youâve always been there for me. I messed up, cutie. I know I did.â
You shivered against him, and he shifted to shield you better from the biting wind. âLet me take you home,â he pleaded, his voice softer now. âWeâll fix this. Iâll fix this. Iâll make it right, I swear.â
For a long moment, you didnât respond, and his heart hammered in his chest. Finally, you gave the faintest of nods, your head resting against his chest. You shivered in his arms, your eyes fluttering shut again, too drained to muster a response. Panic surged in Rafayel as he felt how cold your skin was against his. He shifted, standing with you carefully cradled in his arms, his coat wrapped tightly around you.
âHey, hey, stay with me,â he pleaded, his voice urgent but soft. âI need you to hold on, okay? Just a little longer. Letâs get you somewhere warm.â He pressed his cheek to your temple for a moment, as though the simple touch might reassure youâand himselfâthat you were still here with him.
Rafayel didnât waste a second. He scooped you up gently, careful not to jostle you. The warmth of his jacket wrapped around your frame and the steady rhythm of his heartbeat seemed to soothe some of the tension in your body. He murmured quiet reassurances as he carried you, his voice a constant presence in the cold, empty night. His normally cocky demeanor had shattered into shards of raw vulnerability, replaced by a frantic urgency to get you homeâhis home. Your breathing was shallow, your limbs slack in his hold, and every uneven step he took felt like walking a tightrope with everything he valued most precariously balanced in his grasp. He adjusted his hold, cradling you tighter against his chest. âLook, I know Iâm an idiot sometimes. Fine, most of the time,â he admitted, his words a jumble of nervous energy and shaky humor. âBut this isnât the time to prove me wrong, alright? Just hang on a little longer. Iâm taking you home.â
By the time you reached the studio, the candlelight had dimmed, but the room still held the warmth of the love you had poured into it. Rafayel carried you inside. By the time he reached the threshold of his room, his shirt clung to him, drenched from sweat and your tears. He nudged the door open with his shoulder, careful not to jostle you, and hurried inside.
The room was cold and dimly lit, the heater long dormant. He set you down on the bed, fumbling with the blankets to cocoon you in their warmth. Your body trembled, and his chest constricted as he watched you stir faintly before slipping deeper into unconsciousness.
âIâm sorry,â he whispered, barely audible at first, as if the walls themselves might condemn him. Then louder, more desperate, his voice cracking. âIâm so damn sorry. I was stupidâso, so stupid. I shouldâve seen this coming. Shouldâve kept you safe. Shouldâveââ He stopped himself, biting down hard on the inside of his cheek to stifle the sob building in his throat. His eyes flickered between his usual hues and that unearthly blue every now and then.
His hands hovered over your face, fingers trembling as he brushed damp strands of hair from your skin. âYouâre too good for me, you know that? Too good for someone who screws up as much as I do. But I promiseââ His voice broke, the words spilling out in a frenzied rush. âI promise Iâll make it up to you. Il love you, cutie. I love you so much.â And then, because even in his rawest moments he couldnât help himself, he added with a weak, self-deprecating chuckle, âI am lucky Iâm this charming, or I donât think youâd ever put up with me.â
He turned on the heater, pacing back and forth as he muttered under his breath, berating himself in every way he could think of, his brattiness peeking through as he cursed the broken world that had led to this moment. He glanced at you repeatedly, as if reassuring himself you hadnât vanished, that you hadnât slipped through his fingers.
When you stirred, your eyelids fluttering open, he froze mid-step. His usual confident smirk was gone, replaced by wide, guilt-stricken eyes. âYouâre awake,â he blurted, his voice filled with relief but tinged with apprehension. âI know I screwed up,â he admitted quietly, his lips brushing against your temple. âButâseriously, who let you do this to yourself, huh? Oh wait, thatâs me. Fantastic job, Rafayel. Bravo.â He huffed out a shaky laugh, but it didnât reach his eyes.
âIâm sorry,â he whispered, sitting at your bedside. The words spilled out before he could stop them, over and over again. âIâm so, so sorry. Thisâthis isnât how it was supposed to go. Youâre supposed to be mad at me, not like this. NotâŠâ His voice cracked, and he scrubbed a hand down his face, frustration bubbling beneath the surface.
Then, almost instinctively, the mask of bravado slipped back into place. âBut, hey, look at you, stealing my bed like itâs your right. I mean, sure, I offered, but still.â His smirk faltered, his voice softening. âYou better not make a habit of this, you know? Making me worry this much.â
You shifted, your eyelids fluttering completely open, and the sight of your weary gaze meeting his nearly unraveled him.
âRaf?â Your voice was weak, barely audible, but it was enough to snap him upright.
âHey, youâre awake!â He forced a grin, though it couldnât hide the guilt pooling in his eyes. âGood, because I was just about to start serenading you with an apology song. Donât ask for a refund⊠the lyrics are terrible.â
You tried to sit up, but he was on you in an instant, gently pressing you back down. âWhoa, whoa, no sudden moves, alright? Just... stay put for once. Let me handle it for a change.â
"Handle what?" you asked, your voice edged with exhaustion and confusion.
His grin wavered, giving way to something more honest, more afraid. âEverything. All of it. I... I screwed up, okay? Iâm the idiot who let you get like this, who didnât seeâwho didnât stopââ His words tangled, and he exhaled sharply. âIâm sorry. Iâm so damn sorry, and Iâll keep saying it until you believe me. Or, you know, until you tell me to shut up. Whichever comes first.â
Your lashes fluttered weakly again, and a barely audible sound escaped your lips. â...Rafayel...?â
His heart soared and broke all at once at the sound of your voice. âIâm here,â he said quickly, leaning closer so you could hear him clearly. âIâm right here. Iâve got you.â
Tears welled in his eyes as you looked up at him, your gaze heavy with exhaustion and something he couldnât quite nameâhurt, maybe, or disappointment. It cut him deeper than any blade ever could.
âIâm sorry,â he said again, his voice a choked whisper. âI know that doesnât fix this, but I swear, Iâll spend every moment making it up to you if you let me.â
For a moment, silence hung between you, broken only by the hum of the heater and the soft whistle of the wind outside. Finally, you whispered, your voice trembling, âI waited...â
âI know,â he whispered, his tears falling freely now. âYou shouldnât have had to. You deserve better than that, better than meâbut Iâm begging you, please give me another chance. Donât give up on me yet.â
Finally, your voice, though weak, broke the quiet. âYou forgot... something that meant so much to me.â
Rafayelâs throat tightened, but he nodded, accepting your words. âI know. And Iâll spend as long as it takes to make it up to you. Iâll show you how much you mean to me. I love you,â he whispered against your skin, the words soft but raw with sincerity. âMore than anything. More than I can even say. I donât deserve you, but⊠please, let me try. Let me make it up to you.â
âDonât leave me,â he repeated, his voice a breathless whisper, âNot like this.â His voice cracked on the last word, and for a moment, you could see the mask slipâjust for a second. Rafayel was scared. Scared of losing you. Scared of failing you. It was the one thing he had never let you see, the one thing he kept locked away in the deep recesses of his heart, but now, it was clear as day.
As you looked at him, something shifted between the two of youâan understanding, perhaps. You could see his desperation, the way he clung to the edges of his composure, trying to hide the vulnerability he never allowed anyone to witness.
I thought... I thought this was everything I could give. Everything I could be..." your own voice cracking.
He shook his head again, his grip never loosening. âYouâre so much more than all of this. Iâve been blind, cutie. And now I can see itâsee you.â He gently cupped your face in his hands, his thumbs brushing over your cheeks as if to erase every doubt that had taken root there. âIâm sorry. Iâm so sorry for making you feel invisible.â
You closed your eyes for a moment, the tears still staining your face, but the weight of his words was a strange kind of relief. He was here. He saw you now. The storm of emotions inside you hadnât dissipated, but his presence, the raw sincerity in his voice, made you feel something close to safety.
Rafayel kissed your forehead softly, the gentle pressure of his lips a tender promise. âIâm here, cutie. And Iâll do everything I can to make this right. You wonât feel invisible again.â
You nodded slowly, the tears still flowing, but there was a flicker of hope, however faint. "Just... don't forget again," you whispered.
âI wonât,â he promised, his voice firm, but his eyes were full of vulnerability. "I wonât. Never again."
You didnât respond immediately, your eyes closing as if you were too weary to respond. But when Rafayel reached for your hand, intertwining his fingers with yours, a faint squeeze answered him. It wasnât forgiveness, not yet, but it was enoughâa thread of hope that he clung to with everything he had. For now, you didnât pull away, and that was a start.

đ°đđ«đ§đąđ§đ đŹ: car sex, protected sex, so much kissing, marking, and biting while kissing. seungcheol is obsessed with kissing the mc neck.
It was one of those days Seungcheol actively wanted to quit his job. He was in the office until nearly midnight working on a project that was due by midnight. Anything that could go wrong did. He honestly just wanted to see you. He just wanted to shut his brain off and not think about work any longer. Seungcheol really didnât want to sit silently in the car next to you as you just scrolled through your phone. He stared at you wishing he could kiss you again. You had kissed the other night for the first time when you were both drunk. Your kiss you shared that night for some reason was all he could think about. Your lips seemed to take up every thought in his mind. Even though you said that you should act like nothing had ever happened.
âDo you really regret that night?â he asked, breaking the screaming silence.
His question caught you surprise. Locking your phone you looked over at Seungcheol who has a serious look painted across his face. You werenât sure what you should say, because your drunken kiss that night had left you with a feeling of butterflies. But you didnât want to admit that you had felt anything. Because you knew you were really good friends and you didnât want to ruin your friendship. Your sister also added a layer of complication to this.
âYou know Hayley thinks itâs weird weâre still friends,â you said in an attempt to change the subject but also let him know why you really felt conflicted about everything. Hayley was your older sister who had dated Seungcheol first. She was the reason you and Seungcheol became friends. They dated in high school and during college.
He rolled his eyes at the fact that Hayley and him had been broken up for almost two years and yet you didnât see him as anything other than your sisterâs ex. A sigh passed his lips, âI get sheâs your sister and all but why are you letting her get in the way of you being happy?â
Your head tilted slightly as you were trying to process what Seungcheol had just said to you. You liked Seungcheol a lot more than you were willing to admit and that honestly scared you to no end. You weren't really ever the girl that was looking for a relationship. You were independent and didnât need anyone to make you happy. But he was managing to change things without really trying.
âHow do you know that being with you would make me happy?â You stared at him wondering what he was going to say to you.
âBecause just being around you makes me happy. Youâre the only one I want to see even after having the worst day at work. Youâre the only person who can make me smile even when Iâm upset.â he couldnât believe he was basically confessing how he had felt for you for almost two years.
âDidnât my sister make you happy?â You asked, twisting in your seat so youâre looking straight at him.
He shook his head, âI had such a big crush on you, she honestly didnât compare.â Your heart-rate picked up and you felt butterflies in your stomach at everything he was saying. How do you even respond to that statement? There was no way you could of know that the whole time he was dating your sister that he wanted you.
âCheol,â you paused because you didnât know what you should say to him.
He reached over and rested his large hand on your flushed cheek and stared into your eyes. âIâm gonna kiss you again,â you smiled instantly. Leaning over the center console he roughly connected his lips to yours. He moved his lips against yours as you tangled your fingers in his hair. He was kissing you as if he was trying to prove a point. Your lips moved against each other as if you needed each other to breathe. He pulled his lips away from yours and stared into your eyes. Your body felt warm suddenly. You just stare at him wishing he would kiss you again.
âDo you want me to stop?â he asked, really hoping you would say no.
âNo,â you whispered.
He smiled as he moved his lips to your jaw and started kissing down to your neck, and occasionally licking and nipping at the sensitive skin on your neck. You knew at the rate youâre going you were definitely going to have to cover up some marks on your neck tomorrow. A moan passed your lips as he slightly moved your sweater off your shoulder so he could kiss your collarbone and the top of your shoulder.
The way he was kissing you made you want to rip his clothes off. He was getting you so turned on without really even trying. You could spend hours kissing him like this. If kissing was an Olympic sport Seungcheol would be a gold medalist.
âWhatâs going to happen here?â You asked as he continued to kiss your neck. Earning another moan from you.
In-between kisses he managed to say, âwhatever you want to happen can happen.â
You closed your eyes enjoying the feeling of his lips ghosting across your skin. Nobody has ever kissed you like this. âThe way youâre kissing me I feel like you have an idea of what you want to happen.â
He smiled against your neck before lightly biting down, âIâm not asking you to do anything. Iâm just enjoying that I actually get to kiss you like Iâve always wanted too.â
Tangling your fingers in his hair you held him closer to you. You knew you probably shouldnât sleep together. It's hard to tell your body that when youâre turned on. You didnât know if you could walk away from this.
âIf you keep up what youâre doing I canât promise this will end with just kissing,â you said, rolling you head back in pure pleasure.
âIâll do whatever you want,â he said, pulling his lips away from your neck.
âYou have me so turned on right now kissing isnât going to be enough,â you sighed, reaching over and resting your hand against his cheek.
âYou think youâre turned on, imagine being me,â he said looking down at his erection that was straining against his dress pants.
âThank god you have tinted windows in the backseat, and it's dark back there,â you said looking behind into the backseat.
Seungcheol stared at you with a confused look on his face, not sure what you meant, âwhat?â
âIt means when we have sex in the backseat of your car no one will see,â you smirked before pressing your lips to his for a quick kiss.
âOh?â
You nod with a smile on your face, âSeungcheol I just want you to know Iâm not exactly comfortable in my skin. Iâm not a size two like Hayley. I have a soft body, thereâs quite a difference in our bodies.â
He pushed his eyes together as he stared at you confused. He couldnât believe that you didnât realize how sexy he found you, âbaby do you not realize at all the pool parties we used to have I would have to constantly stop myself from staring at you.â He couldnât believe he was admitting to you that he used to stare at. Back in the day he couldnât keep his eyes to himself. âI used to fantasize about you,â he said feeling slightly embarrassed.
âSeriously?â Suddenly you feel more confident.
âYeah.â
Gnawing at your bottom lip you tried to hide the huge grin that wanted to form.
âThe more you talk the more you seem to be turning me on.â You crawled over the center console and made quick work of shimming your legging and undies off while Seungcheol jumped out of the front seat and quickly opened the door and got into the back seat next to you. He made quick work of getting pants unbuttoned and pushed down enough to free himself. Once you were naked from the waist down you crawled toward Seungcheol who was sitting there with his pants pushed down to his knees and his erection standing proud as he bit his bottom lips staring at you. From the beginning when you first met him you always thought he was so hot, but the sight of him sitting there with his hard cock on display made your mouth water.
âI wish we could get all your clothes off,â he said as you straddled his thighs.
âMaybe next time,â you smiled before pressing your lips to his. You reached down and started unbuttoning his light blue dress shirt. You wanted to see his abs and run your fingers over them. âDo you have a condom?â You asked, reaching down and slowly started stroking him causing him to groan. You couldnât believe how hard he got just from your makeout session in the front seat.
He nodded, âthereâs one in the center console.â
Reaching behind to the center console and grabbed the row of three condoms. You tore the foil open with your teeth and made quick work of rolling the condom down his hardened length. Lifting up you hovered your body over his erections. A smile spreads across your lips as he lined himself up.
âI canât lie, I've waited for this moment since I met you,â he said before pressing his lips to your jaw for another kiss.
âShow me what you got then,â you slowly lowered yours down on him and let out a moan.
You moved together as you tried to keep a steady pace, your hands rested on his shoulders as his lips continued to kiss your neck roughly.
âOh my,â you moaned.
You rolled your hips riding him. Seungcheol kept his large hands glued to your hips as he tried to help you keep a good pace.
âCheol,â you sighed. âI need you to use your fingers baby.â
He nodded his head and he moved one of his hands for your soft waist down to your sensitive clit. He slowly dragged his finger in a circle and received a positive moan from you.
âThat feels so good,â you say as she leaned forward connecting your lips to Seungcheolâs.
You rode him a little faster hoping to push yourself over the edge as he dragged his finger against your clit in messy circles. Your body feels like a live wire as youâre desperately close to the edge. Rolling your head back in pleasure, Seungcheol connected his lips to your neck again and started kissing his way up. This man is obsessed with your neck and you wonât ever complain about it. You couldnât believe how good he was in bed. This man seemed to know all the right things to do.
âAre you close?â he asked feeling himself getting close to the edge.
All you can do is moan and whimper his name. You werenât even sure you could form proper words.
He started thrusting his hips upwards and every time your hips met Seungcheol received a moan from you letting him know that you were on the brink of falling apart. He keeps thrusting up until he feels your walls start to clench around him. Throwing your head back with a loud moan. You see stars and feel like youâre on the verge of blacking out as your high hits you like a hurricane.
He grabbed your hips and got a few more thrust in when he hit his high. You were breathing heavily as you slumped forward against Seungcheol. He leaned his head against the headrest behind him. His mind felt numb as he tried to process the intense sex you just had.
Slowly you move off of Seungcheolâs lap and lean with your back against the door and your feet resting on his lap. Your breathing had finally gotten steady and you stared at Seungcheol who had his eyes closed and a smile on his face as his breathing was a little heavy.
âThat was better then I ever expected,â he sighed with a smirk as he had his head still leaning back.
âYou had low expectations for me?â You pushed your eyebrows together, kind of offended by his comment.
âThatâs not what I meant and you know it,â he said playfully, hitting your leg. You rolled your eyes at him and just shook your head. He didnât say anything, he just grabbed your foot that was in your lap and slowly started massaging it.
âSeungcheol what happens now?â Your mind was starting to over think things after what just happened.
âWell I was hoping we could maybe do this somewhere other than the backseat of a car,â he said with a little laugh. This wasnât the most idle location for your first time having sex together.
âOkay cool,â you said realizing he saw you only as fuck buddy. You werenât sure you could handle only being a hookup buddy with him.
âWhatâs going on in that head of yours?â he asked, setting down your foot. He slowly reached over and put his hand on your soft cheek causing you to look at him.
âSeungcheol I like you a lot and I canât be just your fuck buddy,â you said bluntly.
He tilted his head to the side and gave you a confused look. âIs that what you think this is?â You didnât say anything, you just stared at him. âI fully intend on taking you out on a date. I donât expect only sex from you. I would like to take you out as well. The sex is just an extremely nice bonus,â he smiled.
âOh I see.â
âWhy donât we get dressed and go inside and have sex where we arenât still dressed?â He asked with a smirk.
âSeriously?â You laughed.
âDead serious,â he said lifting his hips so he could get his pants up.
âAlright,â you said, reaching on the floor and grabbing your leggings.
You quickly got dressed and hopped out of his car. You looked over at each other and laughed a little as Seungcheol worked on straightening out his pants. He was already getting hard again and just the thought of round two. You couldnât wait to explore his body and fully see him naked.
Quickly you opened the door and you both walked inside. The second the front door was closed Seungcheol pinned you against the wall and started kissing you. His lips roughly moved down your jaw towards your sensitive neck. Earning another moan from you.
You moved your hands up and down his back and held him close to you as your lips moved together quickly. He placed his strong thigh between her legs. Instantly grinding your cloth cover pussy against his tone thigh.
A gasp passed your lips as he lightly bit your neck. Surely leaving another mark behind. He pulled away from you and smirked. His hands moved down and grabbed the bottom of your sweater and quickly worked to remove it. He bit his bottom lip as you worked on unbuttoning his shirt again.
Running your hands down his toned abs and closing the distance between you crashing your lips together again. His hands started roughly roaming your torso and moved up to your bra covered breast.
âWow.â Everything instantly feels like itâs halted and your heart starts racing. Both of you froze completely, realizing youâve been caught. The worst possible person just walked into the room.
âFuck,â Seungcheol groaned knowing that voice all too well. He can tell by the look on your face that youâre panicking.
You moved Seungcheol's arm and walked towards your sister who was standing in the living room with a shocked look on her face.
âIâm so sorry,â you said feeling extremely guilty about the fact you had just had sex with your sister's ex. It doesnât help that you were about to do it again.
âThis is really awkward,â your sister said with a little laugh. âHey Seungcheol,â she said to him as he awkwardly sat down on the couch trying to adjust the erection.
âHey Hayley,â he said with a really awkward smile.
âSo you guys are hooking up,â she said leaning against the wall.
âItâs complicated,â you sighed.
âWell Iâm gonna go back to my room to my boyfriend and attempt to bleach my brain,â she said with a laugh.
âWait Hayley are you mad at me?â You asked reaching for your sister.
She shook her head, âNo, Seungcheol and I broke up like three years ago. Iâve been with Henry for two years. I donât care that you and Cheol are hooking up. Just do me a favor and be safe,â she smiled.
âOkay thank you.â
âAlso do it in your room not the damn living room,â she said as she walked down the hall.
The second you heard your sisterâs door close you looked over at Seungcheol who was holding a throw pillow over his erection.
âOff to my room,â you said signaling for him to follow you. You made your way to your room that was across from Hayleyâs room. It was a room that Seungcheol used to be very familiar with and all the sudden he became very aware of how weird the situation with you and him is.
âIs this weird to you?â he asked, sitting on the edge of your bed.
âWhat do you mean?â You couldnât help but be a little confused by his statement.
âI mean that I used to sleep with Hayley?â
You shrugged, âI mean kind of, but I try not to think about my sister having sex.â
He let out a little laugh. There is something about you that heâs always found so charming. From the very beginning you two have always gotten along really well.
You sat down next to him and you roughly connected your lips together. He tangled his fingers in your locks. You rested your hand on Seungcheolâs thigh and slowly massaged it as your lips moved together. Pulling away from each other and resting your noses together and you both couldnât help but smile.
âI need you naked,â his voice is raspy with need. His deep voice gives you butterflies with little to no effort. He stood up and put his hand out for you to take. You stood a foot away from him and he bent down sitting on his knees in front of you. You could get used to seeing him looking at you like this. He reaches for the top of your leggings and moves them slowly down your soft thighs. He sprinkled kisses across the exposed skin on your soft thighs. He finished pulling your leggings off and looked up at you and gave you a love sick smile. Reaching behind you pulled your bra off leaving you only in your cheeky panties. He licked his lips and sat back on his hunches and slowly took off your final layer of clothing.
Standing there completely naked in front of basically still dressed Seungcheol. You became extremely aware of the fact that you were not a skinny girl. You have a soft body and curves and they are on full display. He could sense you were over thinking everything so he stood up and pressed his lips to yours for a sweet kiss. Reaching between you, you worked on unbuttoning his dress pants. He stepped back from you and kicked his shoes off and got his dress pants and boxers off quickly. You both stood there both completely naked and staring at each other.
âI canât get over how beautiful you are,â he said, reaching his hand up and resting it on your cheek.
You crawled back on your bed and he followed. You laid back on your pillows waiting for him. Hovering over you he quickly attached his lips to yours. He kissed like he needs you to breathe. As if you are the air in his lungs. He rolled his naked body against yours trying to get some friction for some foreplay.
âCondoms are in the nightstand,â you said as he started kissing his way down your jaw. The feeling of his lips against your skin is something you donât think youâll ever get over. Pulling away from you long enough to grab a condom. Tearing the foil packet with his teeth. Slowly sliding the rubber down his already hard length. Spreading your legs you give him full access to your body. He lined his length up with your sopping entrance. Youâre still wet from the first time he made you cum in his car.
âCheol,â you moan, attempting to keep quiet. He rolled his hips quickly into yours as you held onto him for what felt like dear life.
âYou feel so good,â he groans. Reaching up your fingers in his hair holding him close to you. Leaning forward you connected your lips to his for a rough kiss. You pulled away biting his bottom lips causing him to smirk. He loved that you were being more bold. He paused for a moment and grabbed one of your legs, throwing it over his hip before he started moving at a quick pass.
âFuck,â you moan at the new position he was hitting. There was no way you could last very long at the angle he was hitting over and over again. âCheolâŠIâm so close,â another moan passed your lips.
âGo ahead and cum for me,â he smiled before kissing your neck again. He kissed his way up the sensitive skin of your neck occasionally leaving love bites. He reached up and laced his finger with one of your hands. He wanted to touch you in every way possible as he got closer and closer to the edge.
A white hot wave washes over you. Your orgasm hits you like a brick wall. Your walls contract around Seungcheol as heâs chasing his own high. It only took a few sloppy thrust before Seungcheol cums moaning your name. You laid there with Seungcheol on top of you for a long moment. Heâs still snug inside you. You close your eyes trying to catch your breath. He slowly rolled off you and sighed.
âSo how does dinner sound tomorrow night?â he asked, causing you to laugh.
âTomorrow night sounds perfect,â you said cuddling next to him.

MASTERLIST
ă ⊠The ticking clock ⊠ă
You took a deep breath. Your hands were shaking and your stress levels were at their peak.
âYou are always picking fights, y/n. I'm tired, "Oscar said, clearly annoyed. Is not that you always fought or had a toxic relationship, no. but lately, things got harder between you two. Stupid fights now and then. Dead silence that creeps you out everytime. Coldness was the new dynamic you had going on. And it hurts.
Everyday hurts lately.
âOscar, I'm not always picking fights. For fucks sake, just wanted to know why you are so cold all the time to me!â you didn't want to raise your tone but desperation never took the best out of you. He was shocked, his head disapproving. Probably done with all of this. Done with you. You didn't want to admit it but maybe it was true.Â
âI'm not being cold to you, y/n. I already explained it to you: I'm tired. My job it's complicated enough to come home to be even more complicated. Just stopâ he said leaving the kitchen, leaving you behind hanging in your words. That made you so you followed him down to the living room.Â
âOscar, don't leave me talking alone, please! Why do you always have to run away? I have feelings actually you know? I would love to express them to my lover so we can have a proper conversation, what do you think about that?â
ây/n, bullshit. Don't act like I'm a monster who doesn't listen to you. If i didnt we wouldn't have this argument. Stop playing the victim for once. You don't hear me out either anywayâ he gritted his teeth trying not to follow you down with your anger. He didn't want to raise his voice towards you.Â
âPlaying victim? You're an impossible oscar. I only asked you a fucking question, what did i do wrong for you to ignore me and act so cold? And you said you're just tired and that's bullshitâ you were so angry by now. Offended. Hurt by his words. Hurt by the fact you were happy once and now everything is falling apart. You never hurt this deep before.Â
âIt's not!â he couldn't anymore with all of this. He didn't want to raise his voice but you made him feel exasperated. âYou see? You don't trust me! Im telling you im just tired and you say its bullshit and then you play the victim card that i dont listen to you and im a fucking monster? I see how things go now. I'm doneâ he didn't even want to look at you. He just sat on the sofa looking at the floor. But you heard what he said under his breath. What you were most scared of whatâs happening.Â
You started crying out of desperation, anxious that all of this was gonna end right there and then. You just left him there and went back to the kitchen as if that way he wouldn't see nor hear you crying. You just couldn't keep talking or being around him. Your heart was sinking.
He sighed frustrated and stood up sprinting to his studio and banging the door. You gasped hearing the door closing so violently. No that he noticed what he said. Nor that he cared you thought he didnt care you anymore, that was for sure.Â
(...)
You haven't talked to Oscar since yesterday. He didn't sleep at your shared apartment. He said he didn't want to see you. That hurt a lot. Your heart was already broken. You didn't know what to do anymore. You've been on this rabbit hole for several months. You didn't understand what broke between you or when it was. You felt confused, lonely and scared. What would your whole life be without him? Once, you only wrote love songs because what you felt for him was beyond what your body could handle so you needed to take it out. Now, you didn't write anything for months. You felt too much sadness, it felt like you didn't feel anything at all. Just emptiness.Â
You were playing with your food, not really that hungry that you thought you would be. Another night alone without him. Would life be like this when he gets rid of me? I don't wanna leave.Â
The doorbell rang. You frowned, not sure who it could be knowing it was almost 10pm and I couldn't sleep (just as yesterday and every time you had an argument with him). You looked through the little visor of the door seeing your boyfriend was back home. But telling from the look on his face, things wouldn't be better anyway. You opened the door after taking a deep breath not sure if you would survive another fight.Â
You two just looked at each other for a few seconds. Probably analyzing how you were feeling now that 2 days have passed by. Neither of you smiled. Not that you had the energy or a reason to anymore. You moved from the door so he could get into the apartment and closed the door once he was in.Â
âDid I wake you up?â he asked quietly. You swallowed hard not knowing what to say by this point.
âI can't sleep since you are gone, so. No, you didn'tâ you didn't want to sound cold, especially after you fought because he was acting like that with you,but you felt like shit and didnt have energy to pretend you were okay with it all. You felt miserable. He nodded without saying a word and looked at the floor for a moment.Â
After a moment of really uncomfortable silence you broke it with something you didn't even think would slip out your mouth âare you seeing someone else, oscar?â your words cut through him as if they were sharp glass pieces just thrown directly at him.Â
âWhat?â He was surprised and hurt that you thought about him like that. You shrug.
âI mean, it's not that you don't kiss me anymore, so.and i think you're not tired because of your job, i think you're just bored of me, tired of me, done with meâ you sat on the kitchen table again. He followed you there but stayed standard. He was confused and hurt now.Â
âWhen did I ever say that to you?â he was tired of all of this, for sure. But he wanted to make things work with you. He just didn't know how to. It was hard for him to understand you, but he was trying. He finally sat in front of you staring at your plate. It was full, you kept playing with your doodles, pretending to eat like you used to. He felt so guilty for all of this. He knew at that moment. That he broke you. He didn't know how or when but he did. His face softened in sadness.
âYou said it. You said you were done and you know what? I get it. I mean, it's not as if I am easy to love. I know I'm complicated and a pain in the ass for everyone so I wouldn't be surprised if you found someone else that makes you happy for real and you don't wanna tell me out of pity. I'm ready to hear it though. Just say itâ your voice was empty and plain no emotion detected just numbness. He didn't want to think it was too late. It Has been a long time since he has seen you like this. At that time it wasn't him who made you feel like it.Â
âI didn't mean to say it, y/N. I Was tired because of work and fighting with you. I don't like fighting with you. I wanna make things right, please. I wouldn't ever do that to you, you know itâ he explained desperate for a moment. He wanted you to believe him. But your face didn't say anything. He couldn't read you and made him scared. You looked unbothered, way far gone now. Â
You shook your head âi know you mean it and i know you are tired, but i don't think you really want to be with me anymoreâ your sincerity cut like a knife in both of you. Like, you over thought a lot about it but it still hurt. He was lost and didn't know what was going on anymore or was going through all of that. âYou didn't deny it eitherâ you continued.
âI'm not with anyone else, y/N, pleaseâ he cut you off with his deep voice, kind of cracky now.Â
(...)Â
You just didn't know how you ended up moaning his name once more. His mouth is in your centre. His hands are grabbing your tights. Your fingers on his hair.
How easy is it, right? To love someone. One moment, you destroy them.. Then, you fix them with makeup sex. Making them see the stars so they forget how shitty things are. So that pleasure it's more important than gentle affection. Always pretending to be sane then doing insane shit like this as if memory didn't exist when it came to you and him. As if feeling him inside you was the only thing that could fix your mind. That it was the only way to communicate properly. As if it was your love language, then ignore each other.Â
His hands of your body grabbing you as if you were about to break and he was trying to keep all of your pieces together. As if he could save you or your relationship that was already 10 feet down buried. He would like to think sex could fix it. That it was the best way to communicate if then you didn't trust him. He was hurt and you didn't trust him. You were hurt because he didn't love you anymore. Unfortunately, your minds couldn't agree. You were the love of his life, he wanted to help and make you trust him. But you just didn't, you already convinced yourself he didn't love you anymore and that everyone was better than you. He wanted a team when you just wanted to run away from him. Or from yourself?
ă ⊠Destruction ⊠ă
âI'm done with you for real, y/n! Everytime an important day comes for me, you just like to ruin it!â He was mad as hell. Fed up with all your bullshit.Â
âYou really think I do it on purpose? oscar! â He left the room so you started following him around your shared apartment. âI wouldn't if you didn't ignore like you always do! I don't know what to do anymore! Nothing seems enough for you!â you started crying out. Your heart couldn't take it anymore and this time it felt different. So much different than any time before.
âWhy is it always my fault? Why am I always the one doing something wrong? The only thing you do is complain about me and then you just want me to kiss you?! You are insane!â His words cut you deep, so deep you thought they cut you in half and you were nothing anymore. You couldn't breathe for a moment. He called you insane just the way your parents made you feel your whole life. Maybe they were right after all. You deserved all of those years in a psychiatric hospital. You deserved even when he
was the first one to say your parents were monsters and you were more than okay. More than normal. More than lovable. How ironic, right? You wanted to laugh but couldn't. You just couldn't move.Â
Oscar realised what he said. He knew when he saw you. He felt terrible at that moment.
âLook, y/n i-â you cut him not wanting to listen to him anymore.Â
âDont talkâ you said shaky under your breath. You had to sit down on the sofa because you felt you were about to faint. In shock - a lot of moments of your relationship replayed in your head. How could someone who said he loved you more than anything and anyone, end up thinking just as your parents? It was your fault. Of course it was. How could you ever think someone would love you? You were miserable. How can someone love a miserable person?Â
Oscar started breathing heavily and he had to sit on the floor trying to calm down. He is always so collected and rational, these kinds of feelings he had never experienced, not even with his ex.Â
âWe can't be together Oscar, I make you miserable. And you're right. I'm insane, how could someone love me right? No one wants to deal with my bullshit, not even myselfâ you said quietly. His throat closed for a moment. He remained in silence for a few seconds processing your words. You didn't look at each other, you couldn't. Guess this was it. How sad, right? Oscar started crying realizing what was about to come.
âI promise y/N, I'm sorry for what I said. I didn't mean it that way. You aren't hard to love, actually the opposite. But yeah, i don't think this is working for us anymore whether i like it or notâ he said wiping his tears away of his face as he could.Â
You nodded even though you didn't hear a word he said. It was over. Your life is over.
ă ⊠time heals it all, right? ⊠ă
It's been exactly 8 months and 25 days since you and Oscar were not together anymore. Yes, you had a countdown. You created it to see how far youâll survive because you didn't believe you would last this much. You thought your life was over and for a few weeks it was. You didn't get out of bed. The break up depression, i guess. Your friends suggested you go back to therapy because they were really worried about you and your mental health. They knew how much Oscar meant to you: he was your everything. And to be honest, that was your first mistake going into the relationship with him.Â
You shouldn't have made him your everything because you were nothing suddenly when you left. You didn't know who you were without him, what you liked or what you would like to be. All of your future plans had him in them. There wasn't a future without him. He was everywhere in your life. You shaped your destiny around him. You wanted to get married and have kids with him. And you never wanted to be a mother but he had changed that until he was gone.Â
You couldn't go back to dating. You tried but failed every time. You were a little too afraid to get hurt again. You had to work through your insecurities and traumas first. There was a lot of your history that needed to be let go. You needed to go through really ugly times in your past to find some perspective. Forgive yourself, putting yourself first, understanding yourself. You just worked on knowing you and becoming the person you always wanted.Â
And you grew and changed so much. You felt proud of yourself. You started writing again. Creating was the best way to mourn your relationship with Oscar alongside your old self that left him. To mourn that part of you that is gone forever. Creating was what kept you sane all this time. What brought you back to life. You wrote so many songs about him. Blaming you, blaming him. Blaming the universe for not putting it easier on you.Â
So music, once again, saved your life.Â
Oscarâs life changed drastically. Not only by the fact he didn't have you anymore on the paddock to cheer him on, but also he didn't have you in his apartment to share his life with. He missed you everyday he woke up to an empty bed. Mourning what you had changed him forever. He blamed himself for not knowing how to get to you, how to understand you and be able to help you through it. So he started reading about psychology to learn how to understand people better. He wanted to improve his emotional intelligence. He knew that maybe you wouldn't be there anymore, probably forever, but at least he could be better to the people around him.Â
He didn't date anyone. His way of mourning was trying not to think about it occupying his space and time with work and training and racing and reading. He couldn't do anything else. Â
He always found himself not being able to think, wondering where you were and especially how you were. After that night, you went to cero contact. And he knew it was the best, but he couldn't get you out of his head yet. He felt guilty knowing that he can understand your needs better when it's a little too late. He just wished to press rewind and do it again but the right way this time. He knew it was impossible and that dug a hole in his heart. He knew that it would be there forever. You were the love of his life. He really thought he couldn't love anyone that way, ever again. You were a force of nature for him. Blowing him away every single time.Â
You never went back to races. He knew how much you adored the sport and how in another life you would have loved to be an engineer. You dreamed of one day to see a woman on the podium. You actually sponsored two girls from F1 Academy. The boys didn't see you again either. Actually he knew you did see lando a few times because you two became really close during your relationship, but lando always lied and told him that he didn't see you. He knew Lando was trying to be a good friend. He even tried to introduce Oscar to some girls but it never worked. He tried though. But he found himself thinking that he was kissing it was you. It was heartbreaking to see. He was kind of stuck on you.Â
So he decided he would take his time to grow and figure out who he was by himself. Find comfort in his own company. Doing dates by himself. He found it cringe to call it that way but his therapist insisted on calling it that way so he could deprogram himself from you and anything and everything related to you.Â
He was proud of himself though. He was doing alright again, actually enjoying his job, his friends, and his own company. He even won races, he did podiums and everything he dreamed of. But still, he hoped you didn't feel like you needed to leave to let him shine. He wished you were there every time to hug you and shower you in champagne.Â
He really missed you in his life.
ă ⊠Too far gone, donât know where we started ⊠ă
So here you were more than a year later at the Azerbaijan GP 2024. The Mercedes team invited you as a star guest so you came with your friend because alone you would have died. Actually, before coming to the paddock you had an anxiety attack and if it wasn't for your friend who made sure you felt safe and okay to go, you wouldâve been on a plane back home. It was the first time since you broke up with Oscar you felt okay enough to be able to go through it. You were invited by different teams at least 15 times now. But you always lied and said you couldn't make it. You just needed to stay at home or the studio writing as far as possible from oscar and anything related to him. But you went through all of that with your therapist and she said that if you liked the sport and you really enjoyed races or anything related to it, you shouldn't let Oscar or the thought of him or what happened, deprive you of it.Â
It was sunday, you preferred not to come on friday or saturday just because there were more possibilities you would bump into him. And you just weren't ready to see him. The race was insane so far. Actually, Oscar was doing more than okay. Your heart was pounding, you could hear it loud and clear. Your best friend held your hand all the time in that garage so you don't forget sheâs there for you. And that youâre okay. You knew you shouldn't be afraid of him because he was an angel. But you were scared of yourself and how would you handle that situation. You came to terms that actually, everything that happened between him and you, it was that your insecurities just made everything so toxic that he couldn't handle it all. It didn't feel good when you realised that but it is what it is. You didn't know better and forgiving yourself for that was the hardest part of the process.Â
You squeezed your best friend's hand, it was the last lap. Your heart is almost out of your body. You are wearing an old Oscar hoodie. You really liked it, plus you came here looking like shit in your opinion. You didn't even brush your hair nor that you needed it like before, now your hair is super short. Everyone in the garage was watching closely and before you could actually process what you âve just seen. Your friends shouted âomgâ in unison not believing what they saw.
Destiny had its twisted ways to be honest. Osca won the race. he won. You were just shocked.Â
You were here and he won, like, what are the chances of that to happen actually? First race youâre back and he wins. and in that way. Your friends hugged you.Â
âHoly shit that 's really insane shitâ Nikola said, watching the screens at the garage.Â
âWe need to go guys, i don't wanna see him, pleaseâ you didn't know why you started to panic like that. Sonny looked at Nikola and just got you out of there.Â
At the Mercedes hospitality you felt safe while the celebrations were held. There was no reason or chance Oscar walked into the Mercedes building, right? You were drinking some coffee with you girls trying to focus on the conversation about any other driver but Oscar, just around strategy and stuff. You were trying really hard but you couldn't stop thinking about the fact that maybe he could come into you any time. Now that you see destiny hates you.Â
ây/N, you okay bestie?âSonny tried to get you out of your drawing though by touching your arm so she could catch your attention back to reality.Â
âOh yeah, I was just thinking,â you said, adjusting yourself on the chair. Nikola looked worried.Â
ây/n, we can go if you need to. We don't want you to feel uncomfortable, okay? Just tell usâ she said, comprehensively describing the situation and her friend's feelings. You licked your dry lips.
Before you could answer her someone interrupted you.Â
ây/, is it you?â that. Fucking. Voice. Your friendsâ eyes widen as surprised as you were. You turned to the voice to find, in fact, your ex boyfriend watching you so confused. You were speechless for a moment. He looked so pretty and sweaty. His eyes are shining brighter than ever you have seen.Â
âOh, hi oscar. Yeah, itâs meâ you tried to play it cool but to be fair, you felt the butterflies on your stomach just like the first time you met him at that birthday party you didn't want to go to. But luckilyyou did. Destiny is always playing dirty for you. Or geniously. You didn't know anymore. He smiled widely.
âOh, wow, hi, yeah. I didn't know you were comingâ he said nervously. Your friends looked at each other noticing.Â
âI was invited by George, actually. I almost didn't come tho. How crazy, you win right? You did an amazing race. "You were surprised that you could even have a proper conversation with him while your heart was hurting out of anxiety, nervousness and butterflies were everywhere.Â
Oscar Felt his chest tighter. His stomach was happy to see you, he knew. âThank you,â he said sweetly. You looked so pretty under the light of the Mercedes building. You were his hoodie, your favorite, but he didn't know if it was appropriate to mention it. Your hair was so short and looked so beautiful on you. It actually made you look prettier. Your face was the face of an angel, he always thought that. But with that haircut it only intensified your perfection. He felt stupid. Just like the first time he saw you at that party he wasn't even invited directly. Destiny always played on his favour with you, until that night. He didn't even want to remember it. You looked so different yet you felt the same. Your perfume was the same, he knew. Itâs the one he gifted you on your 6 month anniversary. You used to celebrate each month.Â
An awkward silence makes its presence between you two, not knowing what else to say or comment.Â
âCongrats oscar on the winâ sonny tried to save you from misery right there capturing oscarâs attention. He smiled gently, thanking her and nikola. He recognized them and gave them a hug. He seemed happy to see them. You smiled remembering your nights playing uno and drinking wine and baking canela rolls when winter break came around. You Missed him more than youâve ever thought you would. And something inside you just felt exactly the same you always felt with him. He altered the chemistry in your brain so easily it was kind of scary.Â
âHey osc! Zac wants to talk to you! What are you doing here?â Lando Norris came into the building as well. He was your friend. when he saw who Oscar was, he grinned. âHey, bestie, whatchu doing here?â he said happily, giving you a comforting hug. He was genuinely surprised because you didn't even tell you. He suspected Oscar was here because George told him you were here. He can't keep secrets. And he knew it was George because he was sure Lewis didn't even know you.Â
âGeorge invited us,â you explained after he stepped back.
âOkay let's go, great to see you girl. Hope to see you around more often "Oscar said while looking directly at you in the last sentence to then disappear dragging Lando out of the hospitality. Your friends looked at you and you looked at them.
âI need a whole vodka bottle down my throat right nowâ you sentence, making them laugh. But you didn't. You felt scared of what you felt a few moments ago.Â
(...)
New year is here. You were invited along with your friends by lando to his beginning of the year party here in Monaco. And oh you knew Oscar was gonna be there. Of course, he is one of his closest friends also.
This time you felt more calm and collected around the fact you were going to see him again. I think being drunk was the thing you were thanked for. If something felt rare, you would drink straight vodka or tequila and the problem was solved. You didnât even have to think about it.Â
Your friend helped choose the sexiest dress for you. It was a satin white little dress with broderie endings. Pretty subtle but at the same time suggesting. Just how you were. Angel face, dirty minded. Problem was you couldn't date people because of the Oscars. Because since you saw him those seconds in Azerbaijan, you couldn't stop seeing his shiny eyes and beautiful smile every time you close your eyes. You didn't interact all of this time, you didn't even follow each other on social media.Â
Mystery drove you I guess. And who could blame you? It was Oscar Piastri, the one you had to forget. But I just couldn't. You missed his touch, his breath, his voice, his lips.Â
Your friend took you out of your thoughts telling you they needed to go to the bathroom. You Followed them around the party up to the toilets. They got in but you decided to wait outside because the music was just so good you wanted to enjoy it. You always wished you could write a party song but it isn't your thing at all. Nor you didn't have the personality for it. You were too deep of a person. You needed to cut deep. Be someone to suffer along with. Or at least thatâs how you perceive yourself as an artist.Â
ây/N?â not that voice again. That damn voice. Though this time you were waiting for it. You looked up to find a drunk Oscar in front of you. You were breathless for a moment. How can a man become so much hotter in just a year? You smiled at him feeling your strawberry lip gloss.Â
âHoy, osc. Whatâs up?â you said easily. The alcohol made it easier actually. When he smiled you almost died. You Adored his smile since that party you didn't even want to go to. You thought you fell in love with him just right there. Just right hereâŠ?
âI was looking for Danny, have you seen him?â he said normally, ignoring his heart, almost skipping a beat when he saw you in that short white dress. He hoped not to be drooling in your face. Since he saw you again, he couldn't get you out of his head. You were everyday hunting him. He wanted to text you but he wasn't sure if he should. You seem so happy now, he didn't want to ruin it. He convinced himself that probably the best for you was staying away from him as much as possible. At the end of the day, he was the reason you hurt, right? Or he wanted to believe that.Â
For a moment you watched his lips talking to you. His drunk voice always turned you on. But you couldn't show it. Not anymore. You looked back at his eyes. Half smile on your face while shaking your head âno, i didn't. Iwas waiting for my friends that are in the bathroomâ you explained and he nodded.Â
âWell, I'll keep looking then. See you aroundâ he told you to go back into the crowd to look for his friends. Hesaw the way you looked at his lips. He had to be the stronger one. It was better this way. As much as he wanted to eat you out right there and then.
He hurt you. He didn't understand you. He didn't deserve you. He made sure to protect you from himself. Even though all he wanted was to be with you.

ă ⊠The aftermath - february 14 ⊠ă
Oscar was back to the UK training for the beginning of the new season. It was the coldest winter he experienced. He got back home from mclaren hq. He took a hot shower to warm himself. His apartment was silent. It felt empty for the first time. Like something was missing. He went straight into bed. He wasn't that hungry anyway, but he was tired indeed.Â
âHey, listen to it. I think you need toâÂ
He saw his sister Hattie's notification pop up on his screen confusing him abit. He went into the messages app and opened his sisterâs. When he did he understood what she was talking about. A knot on this throat formed. It was y/n ep. Guess he now understood taylor swiftâs exes. Itâs hard to date a musician ust because of the aftermath of the relationship.Â
âJust do it. You will understand why once you didâÂ
Another message popped up on this screen and sighed heavily. Probably his sister was right but at the same time he was scaredas fuck. He opened it on spotify, she looked as pretty as ever on the cover of it. âAlmost said I miss youâ - that was the title and only had 3 songs. By the names of them he suspected it was about him but he tried to believe they weren't even though his sister already told him that they were. He decided to listen to it in order.
He took his headphones from his nightstand so he could hear your voice clearly. All over his head. Cutting deep into his fiber.Â
The first piano tiles started playing and his heart was already sinking. Hearing her voice so raw and close and clear sent shivers down his spine. He heard every single word you said. It described perfectly that horrible and forgettable night you broke up. Hearing your voice crack broke his heart into a million pieces. It wasn't even half of the song when he started crying. He knew what he said under his breath that sent you both straight into hell. He felt so guilty about everything. He really just wished to talk to you.Â
When he started to hear the second song he knew it was about that race you went. He hoped to see you in the next one, and the next one. But you didn't go again. The lyrics were so real his skin felt every word.Â
When he heard you saying that you felt sorry his tears streamed down his face more violently. He didn't recognize this person. But you always had this effect on him. With you he was a feeler, one that felt way too deeply. Unlike the person he shows to people. You always knew the real him. He couldn't lie to you. Even though you thought he would cheat on you. He would never. Hearing you wanting to hold him broke his heart. Why did you both have to do this the hard way? Why didn't you just be happy with each other? He really missed you. He missed everything about you. Your presence around him. He was his best version with you. Now he feels like a ghost of who he used to be.Â
The last song just ended him.Â
âDo you remember being happy together? I do, don't you? Then all of the sudden, youâre sick to your stomach. Is that still true?â he whipped his tears the best he could.Â
You never called her or told her you missed her. But he guessed you would have liked it like that.Â
âeverything i know brings me back to us. Everywhere I go leads me back to youâ he felt the same.Â
He didn't know what to do. He had a battle inside him. He promised himself he would stay away from you so you could be happy just like you deserved. But at the same time he wanted to be happy and he knew you made him happy. He was happy with you.Â
âSo? Call her please oscar. You both deserve to be happy and figure things out along the way, togetherâ
Hattie read his mind. Her text just in time when he is back into the silent apartment. The empty and cold apartment that once was full of laughter and music because you were with him. He missed you so much. He missed hearing you play guitar rumbling words then writing them down. You hugged when he was back home, you cuddled in bed when he was sad, your perspective on things. He missed every detail about you.
But was he ready to come back to you?

Reader meets Gojo
First time
-ËËâââââ -ËËâââââ -ËËâââââ -ËËâââââ
The karaoke lights had been soft and almost romantic that night, but the heat between you and Nanami had reached an almost unbearable point. The kisses, the furtive touches sneaking under clothing, the palpable desire surrounding you bothâit had been too much. At some moment, particularly when you had deftly and proudly unbuttoned and unzipped your irresistible boyfriendâs pants while still tangling your tongue with his, you were on the verge of freeing his pulsating erection from his boxers⊠when Nanami stopped you.
At first, you felt a pang of frustration, but you understood what he meant. However, now, a few days later, something had shifted. Nanami was still attentive and loving, but there was a certain physical distance, as if something was holding him back. He no longer kissed you with the same urgency or held you by the waist with that passion that made you feel completely his.
âNot here,â he said in a husky voice, his hands still gripping your hips. âThis isnât how I want our first time to be.â
Your mind, traitorous as ever, began whispering insecurities.
Maybe he doesnât like you that much. Maybe he doesnât desire you like you desire him. Maybe youâre not enough.
It had been a week since Nanami noticed something was different about you. It was almost imperceptible: a distraction in your eyes, a pause before replying to his messages. At first, he said nothing, preferring to give you space, but he couldnât deny that the thought of something being wrong gnawed at him.
That afternoon, after your last class of the day, as often as his schedule allowed, Nanami came to pick you up. But instead of the animated chatter that usually filled the walks, you were silent, your gaze fixed on the ground. Nanami noted your unease, and although he tried to ignore it, he couldnât.
When you reached your apartment, you turned to him with a tired smile.
âThanks for walking me home, Kento. Iâll see you another day, okay?â
âWhat? Nothing, Iâm just tired, thatâs all,â you said, avoiding his gaze.
He frowned, placing a hand on the doorframe to stop you from closing the door.
âWhatâs going on?â
âYou know Iâm not stupid. Somethingâs bothering you, and youâd rather carry it alone than tell me,â he said with his usual calm tone, but there was a tension in his voice that made you step back.
You huffed, crossing your arms.
âItâs nothing important, Kento. I donât want to bother you with silly things.â
You sighed, closing the door behind him. âFine, if you insistâŠâ You hesitated for a moment. Nanami was already sitting in one of the two chairs at your small dining table, so you decided to sit down as well.
âLet me decide whatâs important or not,â he replied, stepping into the apartment uninvited.
âIs it that⊠you donât find me attractive?â
The question caught him off guard. His eyes widened more than usual. âWhat? Where is this coming from?â
âItâs just thatâŠâ You lowered your gaze, fidgeting with your hands. âAfter what happened at the karaoke, I feel like youâre different. Like you donât want to touch me or kiss me anymore. And Iâd understand if itâs because youâre not that into me, but⊠it makes me sad.â
Nanami seemed at a loss for words for a moment. He stood up slowly from the chair and knelt in front of you so your eyes were level with his.
âY/N, thatâs not true. Not at all,â he said, his voice soft but firm. âYouâre beautiful. Iâm so attracted to you that sometimes I think Iâll lose my mind just looking at you.â
âThen whatâs going on?â you asked, tears welling up in your eyes. âWhy does it feel like you donât want to be close to me in that way anymore?â
Nanami sighed, running a hand through his hair. He looked uncomfortable but determined to explain himself.
âIâm nervous,â he confessed, lowering his gaze for a moment before meeting yours again. âThat night at karaoke⊠I wanted to keep going. Really. But I thought it wouldnât be fair to you, or to me⊠And after that, I started overthinking everything.â
âOverthinking what?â you asked, still confused.
âThat I want it to be special for both of us. And that youâve been with someone before.â
His confession left you stunned. âHow do you know that?â Nanami ignored your question completely, not even reacting to it, and continued speaking.
âItâs justâŠâ He paused, struggling to find the right words. âI feel like I wonât be able to stop myself from comparing to that experience. I donât want to disappoint you or make you think I donât know what Iâm doing.â
You looked at him, incredulous. âIs that whatâs bothering you?â
Nanami nodded, clearly embarrassed. âIâve even been reading books like The Key... Books that might help me⊠do better for you. I want it to be perfect, something youâll never regret.â
The tenderness you felt for him in that moment was overwhelming. You couldnât help but laugh softly, though your eyes still shimmered with tears. âKento, youâre a complete idiot.â
Nanami frowned, clearly confused. âWhat?â
âThe first time is never perfect,â you said, cupping his face in your hands. âI donât need you to read books or prepare like itâs an exam. I just want you to be with me.â
Nanami stared at you intently, his face so close to yours that you could feel the warmth of his breath mingling with your own. His hand rose slowly, tucking a strand of your hair behind your ear with a tenderness that sent a shiver down your spine.
âT/NâŠâ he murmured your name softly, but his tone carried an intensity, as if every ounce of adoration he felt for you was encapsulated in those letters.
He leaned in, and his lips met yours with an urgency that stole your breath away. It was a kiss filled with need, as if he had been waiting for this moment his entire life. His hands were far from idle. One rested on your cheek, cradling you like something precious and fragile, while the other slid down your arm to settle on your waist, pulling you closer.
Still seated, you leaned into him, your fingers finding their way into his blond hair, tangling in the strands with desperate affection.
The kiss deepened, and Nanami let out a soft sigh against your lips, as though releasing something he had been holding back for far too long. There was a fierceness in the way he kissed you, but also a meticulous care, as if he wanted to commit every detail of this moment to memory.
His lips parted just enough to let you both catch your breath, but not enough to break the moment. His half-lidded gaze met yours, his breathing ragged, and his lips slightly reddened from the fervent kiss.
Despite the unrestrained passion, you could tell Nanami was still nervousânot out of lack of desire, but because he was, after all, himself: a perfectionist, someone who wanted to give you his absolute best.
You felt butterflies in your stomach too, but it wasnât fear or insecurity. It was determination. The disappointment of your first experience no longer intimidated you, because this was different. This was Nanami. And that changed everything.
"Stand up," you instructed, your voice steady. Without hesitation, he obeyed, now standing before you, his posture stiff, betraying the nerves he tried to hide.
Still seated, with your legs crossed, you kept your gaze fixed on him, feeling a rush of anticipation course through you. Your hands, steady yet gentle, reached for the waistband of his trousers. The motion was slow, almost ceremonial, as you felt the firmness of his abdomen beneath the fabric. Your fingers worked precisely, unbuttoning the top before carefully sliding down the zipper, the sound amplified in the quiet room.
As your hands lowered the fabric without hesitation, the tension in Nanami's body became evident. His muscles subtly tensed at the contact, but he didnât pull away. Instead, he remained perfectly still, allowing you to continue. Inside, you felt a surge of courageânot because you were experienced, but because Nanamiâs own nerves paradoxically gave you strength. Someone had to take the lead, to be the strong one for both of you, and you were proud it could be you.
Sliding his trousers and underwear down his hips, you let them fall gently to his knees.
And there it was. A solid and imposing erection. Just the sight of it made your core ache, pulsing with the desire to feel something tangible.
Nanami took a deep breath, his eyes glancing to the side, unable to meet yours directly. His cheeks burned with a deep blush, and in a low, firm tone, he muttered:
"Never say again that you donât attract meâŠâ His voice faltered slightly before he continued, still avoiding your gaze. âLook... how hard you make me.â
Hearing his words, something ignited within you, and an overwhelming wave of desire surged through your body. You licked every inch of his testicles, letting your tongue trace along the length of his shaft. Taking as much of his erection as you could into your mouth, you began sucking and drawing him in with eager attention.
Nanami didnât moanâhe growled softly, expressing his pleasure through the guttural sounds that escaped him, showing just how much he appreciated the care you were giving his throbbing erection.
But just as he neared the brink, you paused, withdrawing your attention. It was your turn now.
Decisively, you slid out of your pants and underwear, revealing your center. Without breaking eye contact with Nanami, you grasped his wrists firmly and guided him down until he was kneeling before you. The intensity in his gaze revealed that any lingering nerves had been replaced by pure desire, his rapid breathing reflecting how much you affected him.
Gripping the backs of your knees, he pushed your legs apart, exposing your most intimate self.
Nanami, always so composed and reserved, now stared at your exposed sex with a mix of skepticism and curiosity. Slowly, he leaned in, pressing a kiss to your center. The warmth of his breath against you made your mind spiral.
As he tasted you for the first time, his eyes lit up in a way that was utterly uncharacteristicâa genuine, pure delight that disarmed him completely. You were delicious, and the realization left him undone.
In seconds, his usual restraint crumbled. He devoured you with unbridled enthusiasm, losing himself entirely in the act. For a moment, the ever-gentlemanly Nanami was gone, replaced by someone who savored every moment as if the world had narrowed to just you.
FLUTTER!
With a swift and decisive motion, Nanami reversed your positions. Now he sat in the chair, and you straddled his lap. This was the moment.
You brought your forehead to his, letting them rest against each other, and with one last kiss, you guided his erection clumsily but confidently to your waiting entrance. Holding your breath, you let him fill you completely.
"Nothing in my life has ever felt this good," Nanami thought.
You wrapped your arms around him, wanting him as close as possible. His hands gripped your hips firmly as he set a steady and fast rhythm. You could feel the heat building inside you as your bodies moved together in perfect sync.
Nanamiâs rhythm faltered, and with a strained groan, he surrendered. The heat of his release filled you, leaving you trembling in his arms.
You shared a look, a smile, and one last passionate kiss.
ââââàšà§ââââ ââââàšà§ââââââââàšà§ââââ
Still holding him tightly, your forehead against his, you whispered:
âIt was perfect.â
A/N: Nanami knows you are not a virgin anymore because one time he overheard your mom said to your dad something like
"She thinks we are dumb. She said she was going out to eat with a friend and she came back hungry and with her hair wet..."

I tend to fixate on evan as a character at times because his whole shtick is that hes mysterious and has issues tm, but also because i have also been the haunted (literally spoke to ghosts as a child) ass white kid (white) suffering from food insecurity (yall ever have a mustard sandwich, its bread heels with mustard on them. Thats how i learned to like mustard.) So i relate to him quite a bit.
But, i cant help but be deeply curious about the other misfits and their lives, struggles, and their mysteries.
I frequently work with kids like Jammer (ive been christened with a nickname by middleschoolers. Its Shawty DooBop. Im glad its that and not "that mean ass librarian") and I wonder what his life is like on a day to day basis. Did he pick his sister up from her after school program? How long has he been writing? A lot of kids I know, no matter how much they like the sports they play, were originally put into them by parents hoping they could be something great, but what would he want to be if he wanted to be something different? Did he ever read the maximum ride series? Does he actually like dragon ball Z or is it more of a cultural osmosis thing?
K is deeply relatable to me on a number of levels (nonbinary tumblrina) but also deeply alien. Do they talk to their family at all? Do they feel remorse for cyber bullying people over steven universe? Do they get mad at themself when they have to remember people cant just be tropes, they also have to be people? Even themself? When will they go to therapy????
Sam black, britain, butler my beloved. Fellow child of divorce, how much did that influence your comunication? How long has being an influencer been her focus? Does she actually want to inluence, or does she just want friends? She struggled in school, did anyone ever try to help? Would it have been better or worse to be on an iep plan? Does she still talk to her family much now that shes famous, is it out of love, or out of that family wanting her support and her energy? How has T2 stayed a teacup pig? Those usually grow into potbelly pigs of some sort. Does she feel like her magic has actually hampered her ability to connect with others because she is so easily liked? What were the sailor moon forums like, what happened after your pink pal stopped liking pink?
Also to the magic mommy of all time, what was Bombini's life like? A 600+ year old wizard who seems to have lost everything dear to him and is upholding the memory of people long lost built on foundations that were crumbling from the start. Dudes middle name is kyle. He seems like a paralell to our sad ass white boy, if they had decided to uphold the nature of magic and the old ways, would evan have become like him? A shuffling, sad, impossibly old steward? Also whats happening on tadershacourt. Whos the shadow man with Khan.
God i have so many questions, im deeply glad misfits and magic got a season 2 but i do think it has just given me more to be insane about. I managed this with only 4 eps and a holiday special, im gonna explode. Truely the tumblr coded series of all time.

The Water 7 Fight: An Analysis
So. Water 7. Thereâs a lot to be said about the Usopp vs Luffy fight, their motivations, and the right vs wrong of it allâŠitâs a complex situation, and so I wanted to share some thoughts:
The Set Up
The growing tension and activity that led to the fight between Luffy and Usopp is so so well explored in the scenes right before it happened. Of course, events are kicked off by Usoppâs abduction by the Franky Family, and his subsequent beating and losing the money. This, on top of the many many clues sprinkled throughout the early bits of the arc and earlier arcs regarding his own feelings of inadequacy as well as his connection to the Merry, is the straw that breaks the camelâs back for Usopp in my opinion. This was one of his deepest fears, finally realized: he felt that he had finally crossed the line into more than just useless but an active liability to the crew. He admits as much to Nami when he sees her: heâs ashamed more than anything else. He canât face the others.
Namiâs reaction in this moment is also really interesting. She sees Usopp at possibly one of his most vulnerable moments ever, and she reacts so kindly: she tells him itâs not his fault, that itâs going to be okay, that sheâll get him some help. Itâs such a mature and responsible response and out of everyone here I think she reacted most rationally to this whole situation. I think if she had been a little more confident she couldâve engaged in some really good conflict resolution practices with everyone.
At the same time, everyone slowly gets the bad news about the Merry, and their differing reactions are interesting: theyâre all upset, and openly discuss that. Sanji even notes that Usopp is going to be particularly upset to hear this, so theyâre all already aware that this is going to be quite bad. Whatâs interesting, though, is Luffyâs reaction: he goes through a similar emotional journey that Usopp does when getting the news, but their ultimate destination is what differs greatly here. I think the difference here is probably down to two factors: 1. Luffy does not have the same particular insecurities that Usopp does and 2. Luffy is the ultimate authority in the decisions here, Usopp is not.
Then, Usopp picks himself back up, badly wounded, to return to the Franky family to try to get the money back. This is a big moment too, because it showcases that he is the type of person to fight even when he knows he isnât going to win, which is what ends up happening here. Even the moment where he burst in really felt paralleled to the moment he stares down Luffy in a fight later: itâs a really good set up.
And then he gets injured even more, and chopper has to check if heâs even alive when they find him, which is important to note because his physical condition is just dire right now.
I found the reactions of Luffy, Zoro, Sanji, and Chopper interesting too because they get super angry, obviously, partly because of the money but more because of how Usopp is hurt. In one sense itâs funny that they just left him there while they took revenge for him, but on another itâs a little tragic because that wasnât what he needed in that moment. I donât think he ever finds out about it either if my memory served me correctly. Thereâs another layer of irony in the way they all leap to fight to save their crewmate but weâll get to that later.
I also think itâs notable that Luffy locks in his decision to get a new ship here, right after they destroy the Franky familyâs hideout. I think he felt a sense of responsibility for what happened, maybe believing that if heâd been more decisive in his leadership, then Usopp wouldnât have been this badly hurt. Which is also just oof. Extremely ironic.
So they take Usopp back and it takes him a while to even wake up, and when he does heâs all apologies. The physical framing of it is interesting too, because heâs on his knees and hugging Zoroâs legs and stuff. Heâs not outwardly expressing his shame like he did with Nami earlier but itâs close. Heâs not really standing up at all.
And everything seems to be going ok, and Usopp is asking about next steps and thenâŠand then Luffy drops the bomb. And that changes everything.
The Confrontation
Usopp starts the whole argument in full denial. Itâs a pretty classic gamut of emotions here: he goes full tilt into the cycles of grief, starting with just straight up denying that Luffy would do this, to bargaining by asking if he was at fault in this situation and trying to convince the others to let him continue fixing the ship. Heâs clearly feeling a lot of guilt here: he believes he is directly responsible for the Merryâs âdeathâ as it were and is scrambling trying to take responsibility for fixing her. I think everyone else was taken aback by the level that this guilt went and were wholly unprepared to deal with it. Luffy yelling that he isnât a carpenter I think was him trying to talk him down but ultimately had the exact opposite effect: all Usopp heard was he had no expertise in this and was useless, and may have even harmed Merry further or out her in this situation to begin with.
This snaps Usopp into the anger stage, and this is where it really starts to get ugly. Itâs notable to me that heâs the one that escalated by grabbing at Luffyâs shirt and yelling at him that he excepted better, which were intended to hurt I think. Luffy though gives as good as he gets, and is the one that actually turns the confrontation violent: knocking a grave injured Usopp down. In short: he doesnât descalate or calm the situation, but instead adds to it. The way his temper is so hair trigger in this scene is extremely interesting to me.
Nobody else intervenes either (at least not yet). All of them try on occasion to tell them to calm down or stop fighting but not more than that. Not even Zoro steps in at this stage, which I found super interesting. Nami tries to tell Usopp at one point that Luffy had a similar emotional reaction ti him about this choice, but Luffy stops her. Funnily enough I think if he hadnât she may have been able to calm things down a bit here.
Itâs not until Luffy is right about to tell Usopp to leave, itâs practically already left his mouth, that someone actually steps in here. And itâs SANJI. Sanji, who knows very well how it feels to be told you donât belong somewhere anymore. Sanji physically knocks Luffy back and he does it with FORCE, and itâs him who desperately tries to wrangle some control back of the situation. And the thing is: it almost works! Everyone listens to him, nobody objects to his methods, and Luffy actually starts to reign himself back and apologizes!
But itâs a bell that canât be unrung at this point. Usopp has heard what he heard and has made his decision. Whatâs interesting here though, and what I realized upon rereading it, was how self aware Usopp was at this stage about the whole thing? Like he was fully aware that he was substituting himself in for the Merry and straight up tells the crew that he thinks heâs useless and that they should get rid of him in the same way that the did the ship. LikeâŠheâs not subtle at ALL about this, and about the reasons why heâs behaving the way he does. He knows exactly why! And he tells them! I honestly credit him for that in a wayâŠheâs spiraling here but heâs aware of it, and heâs aware of exactly what heâs feeling and why. The way this fight is remembered and discussed in fandom I feel is heâs characterized as throwing a tantrum about it but this really isnât what happened here at all.
Nobody really pulls him back on his statements: I think they were too shocked here to really know what to do. Chopper is falling apart emotionally, Nami is trying to get him to hang back and wait, Sanji even starts yelling at Usopp to come back. ZoroâŠZoro says nothing, which interested me a lot too. He does however have a flashback to him being the one to invite Usopp on board, which I have a LOT of thoughts about. From Alabasta, Zoro has been privy to a lot of Usopp moments that were important turning points for him: carrying dalton up the mountain, expressing doubt after long ring long land, etc. I think heâs thinking of those things here too. I think heâs feeling a sense of responsibility here that he doesnât know what to do with.
Luffy says nothing too. He looks angry, which I think is a cover for upset, but his silence is fascinating. Heâs letting things play out here because I think heâs still in fight mode but also because I think heâs letting Usopp make his own choices here, as he should. I think heâs trying to be captainlike here. ButâŠalso not quite. Heâs spiraling just as bad as Usopp here, imho.
And then, Usopp issues his duel request. Thereâs a few interesting bits in between where Nami is trying convince Luffy to not go through with it, but heâs very dedicated to doing so anyway. Sheâs telling LUFFY to apologize which is interesting thinking of the fandom recollection of this fight. Sheâs trying conflict resolution here but itâs a bit too late for that.
I also like that Sanji and Zoro are fighting about this too, blaming each other for what happened. I think itâs a form of tension release for the two of them, and Nami stopping them shows itâs still a bit of a sensitive time for it anyway. Which leads to:
The Fight
This fight is one of my favorites in OP, insofar as actual fighting techniques/approaches go. Itâs unique to the series and so emotional and just hits different. Luffyâs later fight against Sanji hits similar notes but this one stands out specifically because itâs Usopp, who is very much not a fighter in the same way Sanji is.
For one, Usoppâs a ranged fighter, and heâs fighting Luffy at close quarters. Heâs already at a MASSIVE disadvantage and he knows this, Luffy knows this, the straw hats know this. Itâs his fight to lose, and he picks it anyway. And I think this is whatâs so key to this entire conflict, from start to finish: Usopp KNEW he was going to lose. He knew it from the start. He knew Merry was doomed. He knew that from the start too. But he did all of that anyway. Why? I think the why is so incredibly nuanced, from loyalty to pride to fear of rejection to abandonment issues. But it also highlights his tendency to bullheadedly get things done if he thinks heâs the only one left who hasnât given up on something. And I think thatâs so important to him as a character, and itâs this realization and this specific fight that made Usopp into my favorite character. Itâs also why I donât think thereâs a black and white wrong and right side to this conflict. From one end, Luffyâs the boss so they need to follow his instructions without question. From another, I like it better when Luffyâs challenged by his crew for both story and character purposes for all involved. I think Luffy needed this to happen, not because he needed to assert his authority as captain, but because he needed to fuck up as a leader and learn from that.
For another, Usopp is also on the brink of collapse this entire time. The fight ends when Luffy gets a single hit in, which means Usopp was on his last legs and he still went through with it. That is super admirable to me and a testament to his super tanking abilities and determination when it counts. He had the deck stacked against him here and he still went for it.
Now: fight techniques. Usopp took this fight seriously, like for real seriously. He pulled every weapon out of his arsenal and went for it, from lying to caltrops to dials and actual honest to god explosions. It was interesting to see the crew be so surprised at him doing so well at the start. He even uses Luffyâs care for his injuries against him which was a notable part of it for me. The impact dial bit is one of my favorites: itâs such a powerful moment to me.
And then he loses, and is probably actively dying as a result lol. Everyoneâs absolute devastation, expressed in different ways, was really fascinating to watch. Chopper just trying to run over and fix things and Nami unable to watch hit hard. Zoro being super composed on the outside and holding Luffy together butâŠyeah heâs not pleased about this. Sanji telling chopper not to go because Usopp doesnât need pity. Luffy cryingâŠwhich always is very emotional. Them giving Usopp the ship and moving on to demonstrate that they took all his words seriously but also to acknowledge his dedication to the Merry. Ooof.
Anyway this arc physically hurts. 10/10 experience. Destroys me every time.

One of the flaws I found with sxf (and I use that word lightly as it doesn't affect the quality of the story it's just unsatisfying) is the lack of legitimate threats that exists in the story. There is no clearly defined villain or antagonist for any of the characters and they're all essentially able to get through w/o issue.
The current antagonists are Fiona, Yuri and Donovan. None of them pose any threat to any of the characters.
Fiona is supposed to be the rival love interest except she is so fundamentally different from Yor that there is no reason for them to compete aside from delusion. They bare such little similarities it's fairly obvious its one or the other and judging by Twilight's oblivion to Fiona's feelings it's obvious that Yor is the final pick.
An actual romantic rival should show why Yor is the choice by highlighting the nuances in her character and why she is the better pick or why Loid loves her more. One oc i had was a Westalian doctor who was equally as sweet and kind as Yor but also smart and had better chemistry with Loid. She poked at Yor's insecurities by virtue of existing. And Twilight was actually interested in her (split personality yaya) which threatened Yor's cover. She ends up killing her but that's another story.
In the end, Fiona is just there to be a figurative opponent w/o actually competing with Yor.
Then there is Yuri. He's not the romantic rival (hello misogyny my old friend) but he is Twilight's biggest threat to carrying out Operation Strix. He works for the SSS (the intuition meant to rival WISE) and is described as an intelligent detective and competent officer. Theoretically, he would be the one Loid has to be the most cautious around and should be actively trying to out him as a fraud. But all of his potential is destroyed the minute he's around Yor. He goes from a brilliant officer to a drooling baby begging for his mother's attention.
He could be a threat but is literally too stupid to do anything about. We get a glimpse of what Yuri can do at full power (mole arc you will always be famous) and for once Twilight's victory is actually earned through skill and not just Yuri being stupid. But that was such a one off situation and had nothing to do with Strix.
Yuri is nothing more than a pain in Twilight's ass who needs to be written out rather than an actual worthwhile opponent.
Lastly is Donovan the official antagonist. Except not really. He's just Twilight's target. He doesnt challenge any of Twilight's opinions or beliefs. He doesn't oppose the themes of the story. He doesnt hinder the operation in anyway. He doesnt even seem to be aware of Twilight's existence. Twilight just seems like a deranged fan trying to get close to his idol rather than an international spy trying to take down a war criminal.
And again the story is so underdeveloped in that regard. There is no clear goal or motive. We don't know why Donovan specifically is such an important figure, only vague ideas as to what he could do. And again, it's not really an issue but it is an anoyance. You have this big bad who we are supposed to root against but they're just a vague concept and not an actual character. I don't want a full deep dive into Donovan but rather some more time to actually show why he specifically is a threat.
We intuitively know that he is the antagonist and we now have a better idea of how shitty he is but we are still in the dark as to why he is the main target.
Again none of this means the story is bad or poorly written. It just means there is a massive gap in the story. It also means there aren't any stakes in the story for any of the characters. Just vague notions of antagonists who don't actually do anything to impact the story.
tldr: we need someone who scares the daylight back into Twilight. He needs a bane.

one of the things that fascinate me about thawne: yes, he CAN be normal with kids! surprisingly normal!
((not at all times, though. his mental illness still spills through and as usual he, in trying to manipulate or hurt others, spits out at them the exact stuff that would hurt him (or have in his childhood/barry's rejection interpretation) the most in the first place lmao))
but at the same time. his like second instinct when doing his bullshit is FUCK THEM (as) KIDS
(and, well. whatever this classifies as)
#whats wrong with him. seriously. he loves picking fights with literal children So Much#AND NONE OF THEM WITH WALLY ON THE MATTER OF BEING THE BIGGEST FLASH FAN. HOW DID THAT NEVER HAPPEN#about the middle page. honestly i DIDNT remember he is a Jerk in that way too until i checked his interactions with bart for this post#this man officially should not be allowed near children as a mentor.#just straight up drops ALL his insecurities on a poor kid in trying to make him feel ashamed. NO breaking the abuse cycle for this bad boy#the only thing he doesnt say is the direct 'you are a disappointment' altho the message is still the same đđđđđđ#AND I BET HES HELLA PROUD OF THAT. I MEAN CONSIDERING THIS FACT IG HE DOES TRY TO BE BETTER THAN HIS PARENTS. SOMEWHAT.#and omg he formulates his point like in problem based learning (leading the child to making the correct conclusion themselves)#im dying. professor to the fucking core.#and the way he feels the need to bring up flash facts in his appeal?? EO YOURE SO HOPELESS. THIS IS 100% HOW BART SAW HIM THROUGH#and god knows what he told thad promising to get him out of the speed force if he fought barry there and whether he was going to fulfill it#and do you even IMAGINE how FUCKED barry's mental condition would be growing up if thawne fulfilled his button threat#and i really REALLY wonder about the tornado twins and their relationship with 'uncle eobard' but that will be a separate post#he doesnt know any other way tho. and he might be actually mad at bart for not supporting his every action as The Flash#like. he tries to play family but the second they question he just goes WHATEVER. I DONT NEED IT. FLASH OF MY VISION RUNS ALONE#his problem is that he just wants attention. he doesnt see family/heroing for what 'its really about' or downsides that may come with them#everything is so idealized in his head. and the moment he faces reality with its complications the concept immediately gets antagonized.#and then he reconsiders and changes the conditions but fails each time never realizing the problem is his mindset and not everything else#black white at its finest yall#and man. RELATABLE.#also WHY is he standing LIKE A STATUE when appearing in front of bart????đđđđ#poor museum rat has no idea what heroes in real life stand like#eobard thawne#professor zoom#reverse flash#the reverse flash#bart allen#the flash#dc

im so sick of reading ooc dabihawks fics make them try and kill each other fr i have a GUN
#always written as lovesick morons. i can handle it better for dabi ironically like he is an emotional little asshole#i can see him obsessing over someone and accidentally falling in cringe gay love about it#but it can't be done in a way where he is anything but the specific brand of pathetic i have in myhead#like ooo make him insecure do u know how juicy it is that touya 'dont ever put me in second place or i'll set us both on fire' todoroki#is shipped with takami 'i am literally always gonna pick my job over you lol' keigo. and yet NO ONE UTILISES ITTTTTT#INCOMPETENT! that's the word im looking for omg. you can make him emotional and pathetic but do NAWT make him incompetent in front of ME#and hawks.. deep breath wtf is his fanon characterisation.... you made him a himbo....#like i complain about dabi characterisation bc that's my best friend and only i understand him but in general fanon is actually fine#BUT HAWKS???? WHAT ARE YOU PEOPLE DOING TO THAT MAN đ#he needs to be an asshole im afraid. i loveeeeeeeeeeeee dabihawks fics where dabi is the villain for objective shit like murder and crime#but hawks is the one who is just so so much worse from a reader's pov like he needs to be kinda heartless#will always prioritise his duty over himself and certainly over any lover. dabi is just his target at the end of the day#and yeah obvs he needs to love him back AT SOME POINT im not a masochist im a sucker for the unrealistically fluffy ending#but they need to suffer for that shit!!!! and hawks has to betray dabi at least 4 times#and for fuck sake MAKE THEM TRY AND KILL EACH OTHER FR!!! I HAVE A GUN!!#stop depolluting my toxic yaoi. um. pretty baby. dont suck the rot right out of their bloodstream?#dabihawks#mha#this coming from ur local fujo who has beaten the dabihawks ao3 tag for all its worth. can anyone help me⊠a rec⊠plsâŠ.

hot tip: EXCLUSIVE behind-the-scenes content available to those who livechat my fic to me
#you will learn more about me than you ever wanted to know#(apart from my crippling insecurities and traumas which are WHOLLY evident in text)#DID YOU KNOW?: just like Bella i also shot a man with a bow and arrow đ„° except i'm currently serving 5 years no parole#jk jk#sadly the Buffalo Wild Wings date was very real#we met on Tinder. (you already know where this is going)#he drove AN HOUR AND A HALF to meet me for the first time#i specifically sent the text 'you really shouldn't drive all that way.' to no avail#i refuse several offers to get picked up for the date. a bitch don't compromise on safety#we get there. we talk about the weather. and the drive. and how much we like Buffalo Wild Wings#he talks about how humanities degrees are worthless. (i was attending a liberal arts school. for an English degree.)#rounded the night off by discussing his favorite social media: 4chan.#he proceeds to explain IN DEPTH his favorite memes and shitposts. this man is verbally illustrating greentexts#oh and BY THE WAY he's christian and looking for a tradwife#the date lasted 45 minutes. i have never hawked down 15 mango habenaro wings so fast.#at the end of the date he went for a kiss. instead i patted him on the shoulder.#i went to my car and waited until he drove away before i went home.#never talked to the guy again#yike#got free wings tho

I rlly liked red hood the hill bc besides the gift it completely ignored everything else with the batfam which to meeee Iâm taking it as the hill has been overlooked by the bats forever (see Orpheus rising) so yeah nobody there gives a fuck about those people and jason knows better than to bring that shit over there
#genuinely tho#I dislike the trend rn of simplifying Jason and Bruceâs issues and making it seem like Bruce was nice and accepting all along and Jason just#needs to get with the program#like the fanficication of that and the Damian Bruce issues or Damian tim issues or even Dick and bruce issues#where everything comes down to the kids being insecure and Bruce being bad at communicating#which has always been PART of the main issues but using that as the crux and lens through which a solution will be acheived is a stretch#a stretch only made in fix it fics that is picked up by ppl who dont read shit and then writers who dont read dont care and get a check#THIS IS MY ISSUE WITH WHERE IT SEEMS BATFAM IS GOING THAT IS NOT AN ISSUE I HAVE WITH RE#NOT ABOUT RED HOOD THE HILL#back to red hood the hill#i DO like them#playing off how jason has always been able to relax there#with a community that has eachothers back#and the flip from#his early red hood days to seeing dana go that path is soooo#what i find interesting tho as that he positions himself as support and backup more than a deterrant#like yes he does try to talk her down a lot but most of the time hes living his life with a worried eye on her#and i think it shows to how he reacted to ppl (bruce) being heavy handed with him#and u know i love the batfam repeating awful cycles shit i think its very interesting that this is one jason didnt repeat#maybe bc hes so close to the feeling or that dana isnt to him what he was to bruce or even that hes just relaxing and thinking clearly and#above all trusts her#most toxic fun future would be for her to break that trust and him to go crazy but thats a diff rant#anyways my entire summary for jasons character is that THAT is what good coochie does to a nigga#carmen thank you for your service another crazy off the street đđŸ#red hood and the hill#oh. still no Orpheus mention#no it doesnât hurt less anytime đ#Jason Todd

ughh why do i have to have njghtmares about them
#in it i was fighting w him over text and then hetm gangsd uep on me#sorry uemin so tired#i have been having a hard time being labelled a quote unquote cheater when i very strongly feel like thats not what happened#and it bothers me knowing that they get to justify their side and avoid responsibility by calling me that#when again. we were literally broken up when i sent that text to the wrong chat#and to be even more fair to me it was the lightest thing of all time it was playful kissies and lovings#like all of this is so wack. like to be labelled that while doing something so small while we werent even together#the drawing stuff is literally normal . ive done that with my kther friends before i even met sable. you are ridiculous#like it just aggrivates me because thats such a sticky smear to put on somebody especially when thats not even what happened#its so overblown and i think thats on purpose to have one last thing to justify your side#and ignore the fact that he was not the best partner to me and stressed me tf out all the time#like how am i a cheater when i played by your rules the whole time we were together#because of how insecure you are. uou let your insecurity become your reality#and i realized how much more taken care of i was with angelo and how naturally we flow together#its so natural to talk to him he is what i have needed. i would be foolish not to pick prince charming#over someone who i felt only fed me stress and anxiety and worry about everything including potential addiction issues#knowing theyre bipolar. knowing they have bpd. participating in dangerous behavior all the time#i feel like calling me a cheater when thats not what fuckin happened is just to handwave away wtf you did wrong the entire time#if i actually cheated id have been slobbering on angels meat the whole time like im sorry#id have been doing spins on it and gagging on it every night but the thing is i didnt#i stayed loyal to you while with you and confided in them as friends while you continuously demanded time from me#that wasnt organic and it was forced half of the time . god i hated playing shit with your stupid ass#so fucking monotone always wanting to do the same shit no variety and always getting upset and throwing tantrums over the smallest things#n then when that behavior once again gets put on me and i get more fucking stressed yeah i turn to my other friends#that arent anything like the other friendgroup because they dont do shit about anything and dont really gaf about snything#except for their own problems#and i confide in the other group because they actually show that they care about me. they relieve stress for me like friends are supposed 2

i go insane for oblivious romance but only if it's written properly. if not i go crazy
#random thoughts#okay so it can't be like. one of the characters is trying to ask the other out all the time/make a move and the other misunderstands#because that's just annoying and not believable in the way some ppl write it#like you CAN but they have to NOTICE. like in a 'is he . . . ? nah no way' way#because just not noticing something can only imply someone is oblivious while noticing and dismissing can imply SO MANY THINGS#are they insecure about themself? is there a reason this love interest specifically is someone they inherently dismiss?#is the love interest a playboy? celibate? typically lacks interest in romance? previously rejected the mc?#BUT this is not my favorite version of this trope#my favorite version of this trope is when the love interest is HIDING their interest#BUT the mc keeps saying things which could come off as flirtatious to SPECIFICALLY THE LOVE INTEREST#is the mc confident? skilled in some sort of way? physically strong? likes complimenting people?#pick something the love interest is into and HAVE THEM REACT#become flushed! smiley! stutter over words! suddenly shy!#read something recently where the mc was older than the lo and kept calling him a 'good boy'#and other such things and the TIMING was SO GOOD#that the lo's reactions (flushing and becoming shy) could be excused by OTHER CAUSES#and it's!!! so good!!!#first time i was like 'lol he's into it' but the SECOND time i was like 'oh my god he's actually into it'#and it didn't annoy me that the mc wasn't picking up on it because they were JUST subtle enough
