Jason Todd Headcanons 2
Teacher!Reader x Jason Todd
I want to say thank you to all of y’all for liking and rebloging 🥺 y’all are so lovely. I hope y’all like this night thoughts.
Warnings: My first language isn’t English so there will be errors, I haven’t read a comic beside the webtoon one so Jason may be a bit OOC sorry.
Tumblr media
• After y’all meet, Jason can’t have a normal day. You and your damn smile pop on his mind at random times. Which makes him have a small curve on the edge of his mouth, confusing Bruce. Why is he smiling as he talks about the obligatory attendance to the gala this week?
• He hates this because come on…he can’t be thinking about the pretty teacher…is too cliche. This isn’t a love story from Christina Luren. Plus he has better things to do than thinking about the pretty teacher who smile made his heart tremble…
• So he starts to do more things to distract himself of thinking about you, and maybe it did work a little too well. Now he is in Roy and Lian apartment along Dick and a room full of little gremlins.
• Roy asked him to help him in Lian birthday party. it was Bluey theme and Roy bought her the cutest Bingo outfit 🥺
• Jason didn’t have a problem helping him, plus he can’t wait for the gift opening time to come. He bought Lian the loudest and flashiest toy he could find just to annoy Roy.
• What he didn’t expect was that Lian beside inviting her classmates, she also invited you. Her teacher…the one that he totally isn’t thinking about night and day…He is also not thinking about how gorgeous you look at the moment. The outfit, the hair, accessories, all of it helps amplify your beauty, but Jason favorite aspect is the smile you wear.
• He isn’t nervous…he just has eaten like five cupcakes, three cookies and four juices that were for the kids while trying to avoid looking at you. He is lucky Dick and Roy are too occupied with Lian and the kids to read his behavior.
• But you do, like who wouldn’t notice the hot tall man? He was just your type, but you do raise an eyebrow confused, why is he sweating as he eats? Is not even hot in here. Plus isn’t supposed to be all over his daughter?
• Yeah, you read right, daughter. You think Roy and Jason are a couple. Why? Easy, Lian always talks about her dad, uncle Dick and “Jason”. All her drawings have one or two of them, tells stories about them.
• Dick somehow bribed Lian to call uncle Jay “Jason”, he hates it and is trying to bribe her into calling him uncle Jay again. Lian loves it since she is getting more sugar than what Roy let’s her.
• You don’t know anything about her mother and since she doesn’t look like Roy you think they adopted her or something. You aren’t to stuck your nose into what doesn’t concern you, plus you did heard some moms gossip that…but it doesn’t stop you from subtly ogling Jason. Why are the hot men always unavailable?
• So imagine Jason confused face when you offer to take a photo of the dads with Lian. Like dads? Like…multiple? And why do you say it while looking at him and Roy? Oh…OH NO WAIT….
• The hamster in Jason brain has stop working and Roy realize it, so why not have fun? Roy smile and pulls Jason into the family photo. A little payback for picking up Lian late and bribing her, y’all really think Lian who is a daddy’s girl, plus a 5 year old is capable of holding a secret?
• Jason hates the photo, he has his eyes slight wide in it, while Lian smiles and Roy has an arm around his shoulder. Roy also got that photo framed in Jason apartment knowing Jason can’t take it down without dealing with a pouting Lian. Because how he dares to take down a photo of them?
• Anyways, when he comes back to reality the small celebration is done and kids are being picked up by there parents and you where long gone. Roy and Dick laugh about what just happened and tease him. He mentally curses when he realizes he didn’t had the time to tell you he isn’t with Roy…

Yandere omegaverse X neglected beta reader pt 2
A child's mind is fragile. Adults tend to think that children are more capable of adapting to painful situations, but that's not entirely true. What happens is that their little minds focus all their strength on protecting themselves by pushing all "unnecessary" feelings to the back of their minds, focusing only on what's essential at the moment.
Your little reality has been shaken twice so far.
The first time was when your parents divorced and the second time when you met them.
The sweet twins were so adorable that you sometimes wanted to bite them until they bled on the floor. Before that, before those dark feelings, your little world was perfect.
Like a Lego construction, each piece had its place, each piece had its importance in creating a new scenario, and even though sometimes the pieces hurt if you accidentally stepped on them your mother's sharp looks and screams, the combing of your hair that pulled your scalp too hard, everything was always forgotten and they returned to the box until a new game came along.
Mom and daddy, the two of them were the main pieces in your game, like the king and queen in the chess game you saw on TV.
Before they fit into your little square world but now it was as if those two pieces simply couldn't fit into their respective places again.
The days spent in court were a blur of colors, lights and voices that you couldn't bring yourself to remember. The end result was that you stayed with your father and saw your mother.
Staying with your dad was good, but you missed your mother, the house felt like it was empty without him. You missed him so much that you even missed the bad days, even if those were horrible days, at least your mother was by your side. That was all that mattered right?
.At school, the other children had perfect families, and that only made you feel a mixture of envy and longing for what they had. A small green mound would grab your little heart and whisper about how unfair it was that only you were suffering such pain.
Alone and confused with such feelings, you felt like the only child inhabiting a small, broken world.Your teacher read a book about a prince who lived on an asteroid and only had one friend, Rose, to talk to.
You imagined that you were feeling the loneliness he would feel if he were the only inhabitant of that asteroid without Rose and with nothing to talk about or love. Only you, living on an asteroid floating lost in the galaxy, watching the distance between you and the world. of your parents growing up
With your heart a little broken you tried to move on, on the tips of your toes you tried to rise from the immensity of the void that surrounded you, you could almost see the light...until you were introduced to them and your little asteroid that had barely found stability was quickly thrown out of orbit again
You were introduced to your new sisters, two beautiful girls with round, flushed cheeks, amber eyes and lovely brown hair that curled subtly at the ends. As a beta you were unable to smell them but by the way the adults cooed over them you knew they smelled as sweet as they looked
The green monster on your shoulder whispered in your ear about his desire to bite the little necks until they bled just as the cricket whispered into the ear of the lying wooden doll, just as in the story you ignore the little green being sitting on your shoulder
Since the divorce your time with your mother was limited, it was as if he never had time for you so when he called to tell your father that you would be spending the night with him naturally your little heart filled with happiness, what you didn't expect was that you wouldn't be alone with your mother, that his time would never be just yours again
Hector's sonorous voice called you into the house
"Come meet your new sisters!"
It was like an alarm bell that marked the new unfortunate turn of your life, with a bright smile and well-groomed golden blond hair he began the introductions with an enthusiasm that hurt your soul
“This is Diana, the oldest and this is Dina, the youngest”, the way he affectionately stroked both of their heads was something that had never been done to you
Anxiety rose in your stomach burning all the way to your throat despite the fake smile on his face, the feeling of anger and envy accumulated in your belly. You felt replaced in the same way that a worn out childhood doll is replaced by a new doll much newer and shinier
Why did she have to be SO PERFECT!? Why did your mother look SO HAPPY around them!?
The afternoon passed in a blur of ugly emotions. You watched the way he seemed so happy and understanding with the twins, laughing and joking like he had never joked or laughed with you before. Liquid jealousy built up, sweeping away your other feelings in violent waves.
Seeing him messing up Diana's hair and telling stories to Dina while you just stood there, alone, on the other side of the room made your heart clench and the monster grow he didn't want to be your mother but he wanted to be theirs!?
The night when your father arrived to pick you up, the trip back was silent. Lying alone in your bed feeling abandoned, you cried again.
Why had your mother brought you to meet those two? Why had he treated them with a kindness you had never felt before!? The memory of perfect smiles haunted you
The orbit of your universe had once again been decentralized, the arrival of your new sisters did not only represent an addition to the family, even at 8 years old you were able to notice, but also a subtraction of an essential part of your life.
What was once little, but was only yours, would now be divided between three
As a discarded goal and replaced by a new one you felt and learned what it is to be loneliness in being visible but invisible, you were 8 years old and felt hatred once, you were 8 and it was at that age that the seeds of hatred for omegas began to grow innocently in your heart

December 24, 2024
“You’re sure you’ve got everything?” Sarah asked, her son, Carson, squealing in the background.
“Pretty sure,” Joel said, frowning a little.
“Put me on FaceTime,” she said. “Show me.”
Joel sighed and fussed with his phone until it became a video call, Sarah on the other end with a smudge of flour on her nose.
“Busy over there, baby girl?” He teased.
“Your grandson got me in the face when we were making sugar cookies,” she said. “I haven’t had the chance to get cleaned up yet, the kitchen is a disaster but that’s beside the point, show me Mom’s suitcase.”
Joel fussed with the phone again - having to search for the little button that let him do it, not a fan of figuring out technology without the help of any of his girls - and got the camera to flip around.
“So I put in some of the sweaters she wears a lot,” he said, showing Sarah the stacks. “Some of the pants she likes, too. Got this one dress she looks real good in, real good…”
“Ew,” Sarah said.
“Shut it, kid,” he said. She laughed. “Got the shoes she says are comfortable, some that are pretty, too…”
“Do you have a bag for her?” She asked.
“What do you think you’re lookin’ at?”
“Not that kind of bag,” she rolled her eyes. “I mean a purse.”
“Wouldn’t she just bring the one she uses all the time?” He asked.
“Dad, you’re going to be walking around Paris,” Sarah said. “Spending hours in museums and in stores and lounging at chic cafes, she’s not going to want to carry that giant thing around. In her closet, in one of the dust bags at the top is a smaller bag that Ellie, Evie and I went in on for Mother's Day, grab that one. It’s cross body so she can just wear it, she likes that when she’s walking around a lot. Also, do you have her hair stuff?”
“Hair stuff?” Joel frowned. “Don’t they have that in the room?”
She sighed.
“See, this is why I make you show me,” Sarah said. “Yes, there’s shampoo and stuff but she uses serums and oils and things, she needs those. Bathroom next.”
Joel obeyed his oldest daughter’s instructions, thankful that the two of you were so close that she’d know these kinds of things. He got what she told him from the bathroom and packed it.
“Alright,” she said. “I think you’re all good! Just let her get a book or five at the airport and you’ll be golden, old man.”
“Thanks, kiddo,” he smiled a little. “You still good to take your sister for a while?”
“Of course,” she smiled back. “I love Ellie and Evie can stay as long as she wants until she wants to go back to school. Plus Brandon could use someone to give him a run for his money on this new video game, he’s getting over confident.”
“Thank you for keeping an eye on Ellie,” Joel said. “We’d like to get all you girls on a trip like this with us sometime but for the first one…”
“It should just be the two of you,” Sarah finished for him with a smile. “She’s going to love it, Dad.”
He sure hoped so.
Joel had been planning this for a while. Decades, really.
Back when the two of you were young and flat broke, a trip to Paris had been a pipe dream. You talked about it that way, the same way Ellie talked about going to the moon now, something that you dreamed about but didn’t expect to ever have.
Then Evie came along. Then you were in med school and then you were an intern and resident and attending and Sarah got married and Ellie joined the family and life had just gotten in the way, as it always seemed to.
But it had been a beautiful life and you’d never even come close to complaining about not getting to visit France the way you’d dreamed. As you’d always done, you put everyone else’s needs and wants before your own, constantly looking for a way to make Joel or your daughters’ lives better before thinking of yourself.
But the Paris trip was possible now. The two of you had made more money than Joel had ever dreamed of making, Sarah and Evie were off on their own and Ellie was in a good enough place that she could spend a few weeks with her sister. Things were even calm at work for both of you - Tommy could run the business for a few weeks and Joel had coordinated with your boss to get you time off. It was the perfect time to finally give you something you’d been dreaming of as long as Joel had known you.
Joel didn’t want to put more work on your plate, though, so he worked with Sarah, Evie and Ellie to plan everything. Sarah traveled a lot - she’d made it to Europe long before Joel ever had - and knew how to find a good hotel. Ellie told Joel about the different museums to visit, her passion for art coming in handy as he was planning. Evie - who had even taken after your knack for language - helped Joel learn a few phrases in French (though he was going to be pretty dependent on you to get around.) But that was fine. As long as you were happy, he didn’t care if everyone around him was speaking gibberish.
“Dad!” Ellie yelled from down the hall. “Mom just texted, she’s almost home!”
“Shit,” Joel said, zipping the suitcase quickly. “Stall her for me, will ya?”
“Can do!” She yelled back and he heard her pounding down the stairs to intercept you.
Joel hauled the luggage downstairs the best he could, stashing the packed bags in a room just off the garage so he could wrestle them into the trunk later. He finished just as the garage door opened and Ellie went racing past him to catch you in the car, giving him a chance to slip into the living room unnoticed. You joined him just a minute after he got there, flopping on the couch next to him.
“Tough day?” He asked, putting his arm up so you could snuggle into him.
“Just long,” you sighed. “That early start the day before a holiday made this shift feel like 20 hours, not 12. But at least I have Christmas off to spend with you and the girls before I’m back in on Thursday.”
Joel tried to keep from smiling at the fact that you didn’t know that, by this time on Thursday, you’d be across the world.
“Want to watch a movie?” He asked. “Your pick.”
“Sure,” you snuggled closer. “But let’s see what Ellie and Evie want to watch, I’ll be happy as long as I’m with you guys.”
He kissed your forehead and called the girls down, the two of them settling on Elf followed by Die Hard and you not even putting in a vote for your favorite because you never tried to put yourself first in anything. That’s why Joel was doing all this, to make sure it happened at least now and then. He made you a plate of Chinese food and you fell asleep against him when you finished it, still wearing the Christmas-themed sweater and earrings you’d worn that day to the hospital.
“Alright, girls,” Joel said quietly. “Upstairs, Santa can’t come ’til you’re in bed.”
Evie and Ellie shared a look before looking back to Joel.
“Goodnight, Dad,” Evie said, getting up and helping Ellie to her feet, too. “I hope Santa can get Mom upstairs OK…”
He snorted and watched the girls go to their rooms before laying you gently on the couch. He went and got the presents out of your closet and stashed the suitcases in the back of the car. He stuffed the stockings - you sleeping peacefully the whole time - and set up the living room the same way he’d done since Sarah was little before gently rousing you from your long winter’s nap.
“C’mon, baby,” he said softly, cupping your face, thumb brushing your cheekbone. “Bed time.”
“But…” you sat up, groggy. “We gotta set up Christmas and…”
“Already done,” he smiled. “Let’s go, sleepyhead.”
You sighed contentedly as he looped an arm around your waist and guided you groggily to your room.
“You’re the best husband in the world, you know that?” You said as you burrowed against his chest once you were both in bed.
He smiled.
“Doin’ my best, baby.”
***
You definitely missed having little kids on Christmas morning but having older ones had its perks.
You woke up before Joel, your unreasonably early day - and bed time - on Christmas Eve rousing you before the sun.
Your husband was still snoring gently and you just watched him for a moment, a peaceful look on his face in the red and green glow of the lights on the eaves outside. You smiled. There was something so damn beautiful about the man you’d married more than 20 years ago, just getting to look at him while he slept made you feel unreasonably lucky, like you were getting away with something you shouldn’t.
You ran your fingers through his hair, slow and gentle, and he stirred, smiling every so slightly before delicately catching your wrist and bringing it to his lips, pressing a soft kiss to your pulse.
“Merry Christmas,” you whispered.
He smiled broader, his eyes still closed.
“Merry Christmas.”
“Want one of your presents now?” You asked and he opened one eye so fast it made you giggle. “I’ll take that as a yes.”
You leaned in close and kissed him softly, almost chastely, before moving down his body and nudging him onto his back as you went. Your lips went over the firm expanse of his chest, the soft warmth of his stomach, down to the top of his pajama pants where his thick length was already hardening for you.
You tugged the pants down enough that you could get at his cock. You licked the tip of him, tongue circling his head before you wrapped your lips around just the very end, sucking softly at his precome.
“Goddamn baby,” he said, already breathless, his hand coming to the back of your head as you took the whole of him slowly, tantalizingly into your mouth.
Once you swallowed him into your throat, you moaned and held him there, sucking and savoring him before starting to move over him. You pressed your tongue against the thick vein that ran along the underside of his cock, making his head run along the roof of your mouth as he started to move in shallow, gentle thrusts, working himself deeper, groaning as he did.
“Can I have that soft little pussy, too?” He asked eventually, sounding desperate, his grip tightening on your head. “Because goddamn baby if I don’t need you right now.”
You sucked him all the way to the tip before releasing him from your mouth.
“You can have as much of me as you want,” you said, breathless yourself. “I’m all yours.”
Before you had the chance to start sucking him again, he tugged you back up his body, laying you beside him before rolling to face you. He gripped your thigh, tugging your leg over his hip and tucking your panties to the side before petting at your leaking entrance.
“Good,” he whispered. “Just the way I want you.”
The tip of his cock replaced his fingers and he thrust just the head of himself inside of you, stretching you enough that you had to press your face into his chest to muffle your moan.
“How do you always feel so goddamn good, baby?” He asked, tugging you closer as he pushed inside. He tucked your head below his chin, one arm below you and around you, his fingers spread wide between your shoulders, his other on the small of your back holding you in just the right place. You were completely enveloped by him as he filled you to the root, everything about your husband completely surrounding you. “Don’t deserve something as good as you.”
You just groaned in protest, not really able to form words, too overwhelmed by the way Joel was completing you.
Instead, you rocked your hips against him and he responded in kind, the two of you moving slowly, firmly against each other. Heat drew low inside you, concentrated on where Joel was shaping you to him and you grew tighter and tighter around him, your orgasm growing sure and steady.
“You gonna come for me?” He whispered in your ear. You moaned and nodded against him. “Good, want you to come for me, let me feel it baby, milk me dry, c’mon.”
You let out a strangled little sob as you obeyed, your channel fluttering and rippling around him.
“There she is,” he breathed, keeping his pace inside you, the tip of his cock pressing into the soft place within you that made your back arch and toes curl as he ground himself deep. “That’s it, baby, keep coming, come on my cock. Fuck, you take it so well, come so pretty for me, just keep… keep…”
He squeezed you tighter, thrust impossibly deeper and you felt him come apart inside you with a needy grunt, throbbing deep and hard as he filled you, drawing your orgasm out as he did.
You went limp in his arms as your climax eased and his hold on you loosened just enough that he could kiss you, his lips gentle on yours as both of you came back down to earth.
“Dunno that anything’ll top that present,” he teased lightly and you laughed.
“One of the upsides to not having little kids running in here at six in the morning,” you smiled before kissing his chest and snuggling closer. His cock was softening inside you, the combination of his come and yours starting to drip from you. “Can we just stay like this for a while? I miss you when you’re not inside me.”
He pressed a kiss to the top of your head, his fingers trailing over your spine.
“Course baby,” he said softly. “Think we got a bit before the girls start moving.”
You luxuriated in the slow start to the morning, drifting in and out of consciousness with Joel’s cock nestled inside you, your husband thrusting slowly and gently now and then so he stayed deep. The sun had just started to peek through the blinds when you heard a toilet flush down the hall and you kissed Joel one last time before slipping him from you, adjusting his pants and your panties before the girls were knocking on your door.
You loved Christmas morning with your family, loved the sense of joy and closeness as you watched your daughters open presents while you sat on the couch, snuggled up to Joel with a cup of coffee in your hands. You’d never had a holiday quite like this one growing up, always just you and your grandmother making the best of it. You treasured that, too, but it was different now, when you were surrounded by the people you loved more than anything else who loved you in return.
Ellie was super excited about a set of really nice markers you’d asked Andrew for help in researching, Evie shrieked with glee over concert tickets for her and her girlfriend and Joel kissed you so deep when he opened the fancy coffee maker you got him the aching place between your thighs throbbed again.
After cinnamon rolls and bacon and coffee made with Joel’s new toy, the four of you headed to Sarah’s, laughing as Carson showed you everything Santa brought him and giving Joel a look when he gave his grandson candy behind his daughter’s back.
“Well,” Joel said, downing the last of his beer as your entire family sat around Sarah’s table after dinner and dessert, you tucked contentedly against his side. “I’m afraid we gotta hit the road.”
You frowned, twisting to look at him.
“What?” You asked, looking down at your watch. It was barely five. “No we don’t, I don’t need to be in until tomorrow afternoon, we can hang out and…”
“No, Mom, you do really need to go,” Sarah said, a serious look on her face.
“Yeah,” Ellie nodded. “Don’t wanna be late.”
“Late for what?” You said.
Evie looked up from her phone.
“I just checked and everything is on time,” she said.
You laughed, looking around at your husband and daughters.
“What are you talking about?” You asked. “What’s on time, everything is closed. Are we going to a movie?”
“I mean, we can when we get there if that’s what you wanna do,” Joel shrugged. “But you’d have to translate for me the whole time.”
You frowned, looking around again, all your children looking like they were about to burst with excitement.
“Can someone clue me in?” You laughed again. “Because I’m at a loss…”
“Oh, right,” Evie said, going into her purse, pulling out an envelope and handing it over. “Guess you’ll need that.”
Joel was trying to hide his grin but you knew him too well for that and you just raised your brows at him as you opened the envelope. He just shrugged a little, his smile getting harder and harder to conceal.
“What are you all up to?” You teased as you opened the envelope, unfolding the papers that were inside.
“Guess you’ll have to look,” Joel shrugged.
You rolled your eyes good naturedly before looking at the pages in your hands.
It took you a second to realize what you were holding: a flight itinerary.
You frowned.
“Joel?” You asked looking over at him.
“Yeah, baby?”
“Joel, this…” you looked back at the paper, your heart racing. “Joel, this is a plane ticket.”
“Is it?” He asked, smile apparent in his voice.
“Joel,” you looked at him again. “This is a plane ticket to Paris. And it leaves in four hours.”
“Technically, I think it’s two plane tickets,” Joel said, sitting up to look over your shoulder. “First class, in case you wanted some room to sleep on your first overseas flight.”
“But…” Your eyes ranged over the ticket before looking around, all your daughters grinning like the cats who ate the canaries. “I have work!”
“Well, see, that’s where you’re wrong,” Joel smirked. “Talked with your boss back in October, you’re not due back to the hospital for a few weeks.”
“I…” you looked down and back up again. “I need to pack!”
“Wrong again, Mom,” Sarah smiled. “Dad took care of that. And I checked his work, you’re good.”
“We need to plan…”
“I gave him a list of all the coolest museums,” Ellie said proudly, cutting you off.
“And I helped Dad be a little less totally useless in French,” Evie added.
You looked around at all of them, tears stinging at your eyes.
“You all planned this?” You asked, a lump in your throat. “For me?”
“Been a long time coming, baby,” Joel smiled, his large hand cradling your elbow, thumb rubbing gentle circles over you. “You deserve it. Have for a while.”
“He’s right, Mom,” Sarah smiled, too. “After taking care of all of us over the years, it’s about damn time.”
“You’re the best mom in the world,” Ellie agreed. “Figured it was time that you see some of it.”
“You always do everything for all of us,” Evie said. “We really should return the favor now and then.”
You looked back at the tickets, covering your mouth with one hand, giving up on trying to keep from crying.
“I…” you sniffed. “I don’t know what to say!”
“How about we just say bon voyage,” Evie said. “Because you need to get on the road or you’re going to be late for your flight!”
You let your children usher you and Joel to the car and you gave everyone hugs as Evie and Ellie got their bags from the trunk so they could stay with Sarah. You hugged them all goodbye, having to dry your tears every time you realized exactly what was happening: You were finally going to Paris, a place you’d always wanted to go, on a trip planned by the people you loved most.
Joel drove the two of you to the airport, you practically glowing the entire way. Joel didn’t let you carry your own bags and you were still in disbelief as you settled into your seat on the plane, a glass of champagne in your hand as you waited to take off.
“So,” Joel smiled, watching you. “You excited?”
“I can’t believe it,” you said, laughing a little. “I can’t… You really shouldn’t have done all this, not for me!”
“Oh baby,” Joel reached out and cupped your cheek. “You’ve done nothin’ but take care of everyone else as long as I’ve known you. Don’t think I can ever do enough to repay you for that but you gotta let me try, at least at Christmas.”
You smiled and leaned over to kiss him.
“I think I can handle that.”
He smiled.
“Merry Christmas, baby,” he said. “Or should I say… joyeux noël? That right?”
You laughed, his accent comically bad but so charming you had to love it.
“That’s right,” you said. “Joyeux noël.”

🎄 merry christmas! have this bones au ficlet as a present. maxiel, 600 words
Max is sitting on the narrow bridge overlooking the lab. He is used to seeing the lab empty, the all-nighters he has been pulling would prove that. But it still feels wrong to him. They are not supposed to be locked here a day before Christmas, quarantining for a disease they were not supposed to get. The CDC made sure they were as comfortable as they could get – gave them sleeping bags to sleep on the cold lab floors, spare clothes and food.
But it's still wrong. The others were so excited to spend their holidays with their loved ones. But now all they had was a maximum of half an hour on a video call, trying to console their families and giving rushed Merry Christmases before the next person’s turn.
Charles was planning on spending the holidays in New York with his current girlfriend. She looked very upset on the screen until Charles promised to take her out to some fancy restaurant once he got there.
Carlos was apparently going to fly to Scotland and spend his holidays playing golf with his family. His mom and dad assured him they would wait for him as long as they needed.
Lewis called his dad and they chatted about their plans after Christmas – going to church, seeing the Christmas tree. Then he had asked about Roscoe – apparently Lewis has a dog. Max didn't know that.
Oscar took the longest on his call, his family was very excited to finally have him home for Christmas and now they were trying to find out if “the government would buy Oscar a new ticket, because it's clearly their fault he's missing Christmas.” Oscar said he would ask the CDC, but Max already checked and there's a plane to Melbourne tomorrow evening Oscar can catch if he accepts the ticket Max bought for him. Max hopes he does.
Daniel didn't call his family. He sent a text and then asked Max if he wanted the hot chocolate the CDC guys brought them.
So now Max is sitting on the bridge waiting for Daniel. They all agreed to swap their Secret Santa presents in the evening and Max is excited, although he wouldn't tell anyone that.
He hears heavy steps and looks over to find Daniel coming closer with two mugs in his hands. Max moves over a bit, even though there's enough space for them both.
“Here. Carlos heated them up with a blowtorch for some reason, so be careful,” Daniel carefully hands him one of the mugs. Max accepts the mug and wraps both of his hands around it.
“I finally identified the coin we found in the victim’s belongings. Apparently it's a copper penny from 1943–” Max slowly lifts the mug. Daniel says something, but Max continues talking. “And this website says that it's worth one hundred thousand dollars–” Max brings the mug to his lips, but suddenly Daniel's hand covers the top of the mug.
“It-it's hot. I said be careful,.” Daniel looks down as he takes away his hand.
“I'll be fine,” Max says, but blows gently at the chocolate. Then he takes a sip.
“Is it good?” Daniel asks, his hot chocolate still untouched.
“Its–” Daniel's eyes are the same color as the chocolate.
“Hey!” Carlos’ voice startles them both. They look down to see him holding a beaker with eggnog he's been brewing all day, a red santa hat with bells perched on his head. “Everyone is ready to exchange presents, we are waiting for you.”
“We'll be there in a minute, man,” Daniel says and moves to stand up. Max takes another look at the Christmas decorations around the lab and stands up too. The mug is still warm in his hands.

Home For Christmas – Glen Powell
Tumblr media
I walked through the beautifully decorated stores for Christmas, but I didn't feel it. Usually, I love this time of year. This year was different. About six months ago, Glen and I decided to move in together. Glen had to go to Australia just after Halloween to film a new Netflix movie. He wasn't able to come home for Thanksgiving, but he had promised me that they would be done before Christmas.
He called me three days ago saying that they were behind filming and now he wasn't even sure they'd be done by New Year's. Ever since the phone call, this season has been miserable.
I got a few last-minute things for my friends and Glen's parents. After shopping, I went home and started wrapping. I put them under the tree and sat on the couch.
I numbly grabbed the remote and turned on the TV. My heart sank when a cute Hallmark Christmas lovey-dovey movie came on. I used to love these. Christmas was different when the man you loved wasn't around to celebrate it with you.
I gave my parents a Caribbean Cruise for Christmas and they left yesterday. Today was the first day this season that I was truly alone. I jumped out of my pity party when my phone started to ring. My heart jumped out of my stomach and into my throat when I looked at the caller ID on my phone.
"Glen?"
"Hey, baby," he chuckled.
"Hi," I said, my voice breaking.
"Everything okay?" He asked gently.
"Yeah," I said, not at all convincingly. "I miss you."
"I miss you too, gorgeous," he sighed. "You have Angela's party tomorrow night, right?"
"Yeah, I guess," I shrugged, leaning back into the cushions. "I don't really want to but it's better than sitting at home on Christmas Eve, all by myself."
"I'm glad you're going," Glen said, sounding strange. "I feel bad that I'm not going with you."
"I wish you were," I mumbled.
"We will celebrate when I get home," he said. "I promise, baby. We will have our first Christmas together."
"I know," I sighed. I cleared my throat before deciding to change the subject. "How's filming?"
Glen and I spent almost two hours on the phone talking. After saying a long goodbye filled with lots of promises of making it up to me, I got ready for bed and went to sleep alone.
* * * * * *
"You're coming tonight, right?"
I held my breath as I debated. To be honest, I didn't want to go to a party with all my friends and spend the night acting like I wasn't miserable.
"I don't know," I stuttered.
"Sweetie," she sighed. "I know it sucks that Glen is stuck in Australia, but he wouldn't want you moping around at home. Have you gone out and done anything Christmassy?"
"I bought his mom an adorable sweater and his dad a new electric drill," I shrugged. I heard her let out a deep sigh.
"Please come tonight," she practically begged. "It'll be a good distraction from Glen being at work. Please? We'll get super drunk and you can send him pictures that will put you on the Naughty List."
After a lot of pestering from Angela and loving pushing from Glen's mom, I decided to go tonight. I changed into my Christmas dress and took time doing my makeup and curling my hair. I walked into Angela's house, instantly hit with Christmas music, voices, and the smell of fresh gingerbread.
"You're here!" She squealed as she ran over to me. I laughed as she wrapped her arms around me. "I am so happy you're here!"
"I can tell considering the fact that I can't breathe."
"Sorry," she giggled as she let me go. "I just. . . I wasn't sure you'd come since Glen is in Australia."
"I'm fine," I brushed off. "Sure, I miss him like crazy. And I can barely sleep. And I rarely feel like eating. And I don't even feel like celebrating without him."
"Which is why you're here," she said, grabbing my hand. "And which is why we are getting you a drink. Lots of drinks."
I rolled my eyes as she dragged me into the kitchen. As hard as I tried to enjoy myself, I couldn't. I just kept picturing my empty apartment and Glen halfway across the world.
Everywhere I looked, I saw couples dancing, laughing, or kissing under the mistletoe. When the pain got too much, I left. I walked into our apartment, not bothering to turn on the lights. I hung up my keys, kicked off my shoes, and started to take off my jacket.
"If you're gonna start undressing, at least let me catch up."
I gasped when the lights flicked on to reveal Glen standing by the Christmas tree.
"Glen!"
He laughed as I ran over to him. He instantly caught me when I jumped into his arms. I grabbed his face and pressed my lips to his. Our lips moved in sync as he held me tightly. As we slowly broke the kiss, Glen gently put me down.
"You're home," I said, my voice breaking as I looked at him through happy tears. "I can't believe you're home."
"I hoped on a plane as early as I could," he explained as he pulled me into his chest. "I couldn't stand the idea of you being all alone on Christmas."
"I love you, Glen."
"I love you, too, Y/N."
He was about to say something else, but I grabbed his face again and pulled him toward me. Glen chuckled as he kissed me back. Our lips moved roughly in sync as we collapsed onto the couch. Once we were sitting, I moved so I was straddling his hips.
"I missed you so much," I moaned between kisses.
"I missed you too, baby."
I broke the kiss, both of us breathing heavily. "Show me," I whispered, leaning my forehead against his. I started to get off his lap, but he grabbed my waist, pulling me back.
"Before we do that," he said, his voice dropping. "There's something I want to give you."
"Christmas is tomorrow," I giggled as I slid my hands up his chest and wrapped my arms around his neck. "The only thing I want right now is you."
"And I want you," he smirked. "But, believe me, you're not going to want to wait for this present."
He stood up with me in his arms. He walked over to the Christmas tree and gently put me down. He paused as he took a step back. My breath got caught in my throat as he knelt down on one knee. "Y/N, you are the love of my life. Nothing I do has meaning if you're not there with me. So, will you be with me for the rest of my career and my life? Y/N, will you marry me?"
"Yes," I said, my voice breaking. Glen smiled up at me as he slipped the ring on my finger. He tossed the ring box onto the couch before standing up and pulling me into his chest. He leaned down and pressed a passionate kiss to my lips.
"Merry Christmas, baby," he whispered.
"Merry Christmas, Glen."

The Kid's Appreciation
Summary: After their 7th day of recieving gifts the Kids start hatching a plot to thank Steve. Their parents had better get on board cause these kids will love Steve into crying on Christmas
A Christmas Day Ending to this post of Steve giving the kids advent treats
~
It took a week of daily treats from the music box for them to start planning.
Of course the kids expected Steve to be there for them if hell opened up again, and to give them lifts and keep in touch if it didn’t, but the music box and the things he was filling it with were something none of them had predicted.
“We should do something for Steve!” Dustin exclaimed it when they met up with Lucas, Mike and Max at the arcade.
Max gave him a deadpan stare, replying, “Der, some of us have been thinking of gifts since he started this.”
“He doesn’t want stuff. He wants company.” He met her judgemental tone with his own, rolling his eyes and thinking before turning to them with an idea in his eyes.
Mike backed off a couple steps. “No, I know that look-”
“Lets have a Surprise Christmas Party for him!” Dustin declared.
“Lucas, you’re helping me convince Mum and Dad. I’ll help with yours.” Mike bargained immediately.
Lucas laughed but that cut off when Max huffed, “Mine will never go for it.”
“I can convince Mrs Mayfield.” Dustin nodded assuredly. “So Christmas Day, we get everyone together then call Steve to come join the fun.”
“It’s doubtful we’ll actually convince our parents to let us do this on Christmas and where are you planning this to be?” Lucas asked sceptically.
“Mom or Hopper might know. I could ask them.” Will offered, “And if they’re suggesting it the other parents might agree more easily.”
“Perfect, that’s enough to get started planning with. Talk to them in the next few days and then we’ll do more.” Dustin grinned.
~
“We want everyone to get together on Christmas Day.” Will said, watching his Mom and Hopper carefully as the words changed how dinner conversation had been going.
Joyce reacted first with a commiserating noise, “Honey, The other kids families want to spend time with them too, we can’t take them away from that.”
“But we’re family too. You’ve said it to most of them, Steve, Dustin.” He began listing, already thinking of which other arguments might convince them to actually arrange the gathering.
El nodded beside him, “You said that we’re all family now because we look after each other and saved each others lives. And you were talking about just adopting Max two nights ago.”
“Her mother is-” Hopper began to grumble but cut himself off, clearing his throat. “Sure kids, all of us are family but their families don’t understand that and they’ll argue that seeing their cousins or grandparents one of the few times they’ll visit in a year is more important than spending time with people who you see regularly.”
“And we’ve not got a big enough space to host everyone. Where would you want this party to be?” Jonathan added, looking around their home and dismissing the idea Hoppers cabin would work since that was smaller.
“We could use the fire pit?” Will suggested, but his expression already showed how he disliked the idea of sitting outside in December, even if there was a fire. “Or take it to Steve’s? But cook the food here, so he doesn’t feel like he has to host.”
Hopper narrowed his eyes, “Why wouldn’t you be asking Harrington to host already if you wanted to do that?”
Will fell silent, pushing food around his plate.
“Because we want to surprise him with it to thank him for everything he’s doing for us.” El replied plainly. “Eddie can fetch him if we find somewhere other than his home we can all go to.”
Hopper huffed, knowing that with El and Will wanting to do this they’d probably manage to, adults accepting or not. “I’ll ask around places that might let us have some space this week, but no promises. Now tell me what Harrington has been doing to inspire this?”
Will and El tripped over themselves to explain, including pulling out the gloves Steve had given them.
~
"Joyce invited us to a Christmas gathering." Nancy mentioned casually as they had a family dinner. "Mostly Mike and I but you can come too."
Ted looked over at her in interest, "You've not asked permission to go anywhere for a while. When is this gathering?"
Nancy halfway turned to Mike, not quite checking the details as she said, "Christmas day about 3pm."
"We've got to go, Dad. They're our family too after everything we've gone through together." Mike insisted before the frowns on their parents faces could become refusal or objections.
"Family isn't made by sneaking away from your actual family and cross country road trips. Christmas day is to be with us and possibly your girlfriend." Ted dictated. "Ask Joyce to do it a day later."
Nancy glared, "We want to gather with the people who kept us alive through the darkest moments of the year on Christmas. We shouldn't argue with the planning Joyce has already done. That's ungrateful."
~
"Sue, hi, how are you?" Mike hurried downstairs when he heard the greeting, spotting Erica and Lucas stood behind Mrs Sinclairs, strained smiles on their faces that tightened when they saw him. Clearly the Wheelers weren't the only ones resisting their plans.
"Hi Karen. I'm well but wanted to know if you were also being asked to give up your Family Christmas for the kids to see each other." Sue replied pleasantly.
"They aren't just friends. We're brothers basically. After everything that's happened in Hawkins, we want Christmas to be for all of us." Mike frustratedly explained.
"And it's for Steve! I tried telling ours, he's going to be alone! On Christmas! And we're his family, us and Joyce and hopper, Robin and Eddie, so we need to be there for him." Erica added, annoyed and making Mike think that should have been their argument from the start.
Karen looked at her shocked. "What do you mean he's alone? Isn't he going to meet his parents somewhere if they can't come here?"
"No!" All the kids protested immediately, Lucas adding, "They never visited him those weeks he was in hospital after the earthquake or even called. Do you really think they'd do something for Christmas if a town destroying earthquake gets no reaction?"
She looked thoughtful now, "And you're sure Joyce is right to arrange a big gathering instead of inviting him to holiday with them? We'd love to have Steve here even."
"That's not all his family though." Erica said, her tone calling their mothers dumb even if she wouldn't say it. "He's the one giving us things every day this month. Why can't we go to the Byers thing and give back to him on Christmas?"
Sue and Karen shared a look. "Okay, we'll think about it but this isn't an agreement yet." Sue said on a sigh.
The three kids shared victorious grins.
~
"Dustin, can you come here Sweetie?" Claudia called upstairs. He'd listened to her chatting at the door for a while and ran downstairs now.
He glanced into the living room expecting Joyce to have been invited in. "Yes?"
"I know you like our small Christmases together but Mrs Byers just invited us to a Christmas with them. Would you like that just as much?" She asked hopefully, clearly joyful at the idea of more people around to share the day with.
Dustin beamed at her, "That'd be fantastic! I hope Steve's there too. And Max. Do you know if she invited the Mayfields?"
"I'm not sure but I'll call and ask. If not then I'm sure she won't mind me doing so." she assured him.
~
"No I see my daughter little enough as it is." Mrs Mayfield shut down Joyce's invitation before she'd finished saying it.
Hopper huffed, "And whose fault is that?"
"Hope, we're making a friendly invitation for them both to come. Don't insult her." Joyce warned, smiling through gritted teeth.
He folded his arms, judging Max's mother still, "Just say there'll be alcohol and she'll come. Skip the frills."
At those words the door was slammed on the pair but an hour later Max called to confirm they'd come.
~
"Christmas for Steve is go!" Lucas declared through the radio. "But we should still try to get him something."
A moment later Max replied, "A best mum mug or something equally sappy would make him cry."
"Heartfelt and condescending, he'd definitely know it's from us." Will quipped, snickers following the words.
"No, we need to give him a lightsaber and dice, get him to play with us." Dustin protested.
"I think Robin would know what we should give him." El said, her voice clearer than the rest suggesting she'd used her powers to help it.
~
Steve answered the door in confusion. Nobody should be visiting on Christmas day, they never had before though he'd occasionally been invited before the day to join other families on Christmas.
Outside stood Robin and Eddie, grinning as he looked them over, "What are you doing here? You're meant to be with your families."
"Wayne will meet us there. Come on Stevie, didn't you get your invite?" Eddie coaxed.
Robin shook her head, "We're his invite. And apparently an invitation from Hopper is too important for me to refuse so I got sent on my way earlier. Get your shoes and coat and we'll head off."
"Invite to what? Why wouldn't they have invited me before now whoever is arranging this?" Steve eyed them, but did turn to get ready to leave after a moment.
"It's a surprise and because they wanted to surprise you." Robin cheerfully replied.
"The kids then. Fine, let's go." he headed to Eddie's van, never questioning if he could drive them there.
Eddie’s car radio was just as loud as he usually had it but the tape playing was Christmas tunes that got Steve to laugh and had them all singing along on their way.
~
When Eddie pulled up outside the school, Steve hesitated. He watched the building cautiously, eyes scanning over the doors to store rooms and the entrance to the main building until he smiled at something.
Just beneath the roof on the corner was a flickering fairy light that he headed towards, even as Robin and Eddie seemed to dig through their pockets for something he assumed would be their invitations. He didn’t mind, since the kids had left him directions already.
Following the string of lights, and ignoring the calls of Robin and Eddie behind him questioning where they were going, Steve saw a gift attached to the lights with a ribbon but not hanging from them. “Do you think I should gather these and wait until I’m with the kids to open them, or just open it now?” He asked, cutting off a complaint as Eddie realised the invitation didn’t say where in the school whatever was happening would be.
“Now,” Robin decided. “I want to see what they got you.”
Eddie made a disagreeing noise, “Ah ah ah, are we sure that this is for Steve? We could be following someone else’s string of fairy lights.”
“It says Steve and also, no we couldn’t be. Why would anyone else chose the school to have their Christmas at?” Judgement infused Steve’s voice as he replied, more focused on unwrapping the gift, smiling softly at the painted flowers and ‘World’s Best Mom’ caption on the mug when he saw it. “Such shitheads. I love them.” He muttered, turning to carry on following the lights.
He carried on following the lights, snickering when the chain ended and a card was balanced between the plug for that string of lights and the next. The card was filled with small messages from all the kids, as well as Joyce, Hopper, Wayne, Nancy, Jonathan and Eddie, saying what they loved about Steve. With tears in his eyes he looked up to see the name missing from inside it.
“Where’s your message?” He teased, trying to pretend he wasn’t as moved as he was by the card.
Robin pulled a small card from her pocket, “Over here for after your kids have made you cry.”
“So thoughtful.” He laughed wetly. “Let’s see what else they’re giving.”
Around the next corner the lights went around Dustin was waiting, “Check point one reached.” He muttered into his radio before waving. “Steve! Open this now, pleeeaaaasssseee.”
“Hug first, shithead. You’re being too sweet when I wasn’t prepared.” Steve insisted, pulling him in before he could protest and causing the present to hit into his back.
“We love you, let us show it.” was mumbled into his chest just before Dustin pulled back, holding the gift out to him again.
Steve was still smiling as he unwrapped the gift, revealing two lightsabers and immediately keeping the green one while holding the blue one out to Dustin. “Dude, these would be so great for our handshake!”
As the pair went through their handshake Eddie draped a hand over Robin’s shoulder’s, “What is this and why haven’t I seen it before?”
“Their secret handshake. Dustin decided he was too old for it when he started high school but Steve says they still do it if it’s just them around. I guess having actual lightsabers overrules the too old thing.” She murmured back, smiling.
“Adorable.” Eddie smiled at the scene even more now. “Come on nerds, we’ve got a gathering quest to finish.” he called after Steve’s overdramatic death scene, laughing with them when Steve happily jumped up, neaten his hair and focused back on following the lights.
As they turned to carry on, Max came down the hall in the opposite direction. “Me and him are escorting you the rest of the way, Steve. The favourites get to babysit their babysitter tonight.”
“And you get a hug as well.” Steve agreed, tugging her in with only a grumbling groan in protest.
The hug was tight and carried on for enough moments that Dustin added himself to it, wrapping around both of them until Max pulled back.
She looked at Steve for a moment before tugging something red from her pocket. “You’ve got a party to attend, and a hat to wear, Santa.”
Steve only laughed and ducked down slightly so she could force it onto his head. “I guess I did do this to you. Is this one I got even?”
“Maybe, didn’t ask, I got an elf hat that day.” Max shrugged, taking one of Steve’s arms while Dustin took the other to keep them moving into the school gym.
Inside the gym was everyone, not yelling out ‘Surprise’ or turning all the attention on them immediately but separately waving or calling out greetings when breaks in their conversation naturally happened. Steve wanted to bask in it, or wander over to the other kids and join their chats, thank them for what they put towards this unexpected celebration, but the two on his arms led him over to the Christmas tree immediately.
“Now Santa Sweetheart, have you been good this year?” Eddie followed them, somehow getting a bright red long coat on in the time they’d walked across the gym and falling into his DM persona.
Steve laughed at the combination but nodded, “As good as I can be, even tried to save a few lives and convince others not to throw theirs away running into danger.” He replied, but wondered if he should have argued.
Eddie nodded slowly, eyes narrowing as if he was making a tough decision, “That does sound very good, but-”
“We’ve got evidence!” Robin interrupted, laughing and holding out her card. “Here, read this!”
Echoes of “And this” sprang up around the room and Steve didn’t notice who handed him a box of tissues as Eddie did indeed start reading out all the good or wonderful things his family thought he’d done that year, a lot of which he hadn’t thought about doing at all.
The kids ended up all gathered around him, all touching him in some way if they weren’t the lucky ones to have claimed his lap, which were Erica and El.
“We love Steve.” El said simply when Eddie fell silent, seemingly torn between going back into character or adding his own words.
He nodded at her words. “That we do, Supergirl, that we do. Steve Harrington is definitely on the good list this year and should get all the gifts he desires. However this is Hawkins and the funding just isn’t there apparently. Can I interest you in some awesome artwork and a dozen or more cards to fight any negative thoughts in your head?”
Through happy tears Steve nodded, reaching out for them. “Love you all too, thank you so much.”
“And the happiest Christmas we could put together for you too, Dingus.” Robin reached over to softly shake his shoulder, stood somewhere behind him and his kids.

oh, um. I was wondering if you could do this thing where the reader is Shinsou’s comfort character and stood up to him when he was being bullied and all the villain insults. I know it’s not much detail but it would be nice if you could do it! Thanks!
Oh my goodness of course anon!! I love this idea so much. I used a fem/afab reader!
Tumblr media
Age 4
The doctor hands your mom and dad a couple pamphlets as they hold back tears. Sitting in your own chair, you kick your little legs and stare at your feet in confusion. The x-ray on the wall shows your bones. There’s nothing wrong with them, you think. And that’s the problem.
There was nothing special about you.
Your parents both had quirks so you thought you also would’ve been special like them. But you’re an anomaly. An outlier. The rest of the conversation is a bit of a blur to you. Your parents had hugged you tightly, and you know that you said that you still love them and they love you. But all that’s going through your growing brain is that you’re not normal.
That weekend, your mom takes you to a support group of quirkless or shunned quirks. Your grip on your mom’s hand is tight as she encourages you to meet some new friends. You glance around shyly, slowly realizing that no one from your daycare or school is here. You let go and trudge along, your little legs taking you to a corner with some coloring books. A boy nearby with distinguishable purple hair sits by himself, and so you proceed to sit next to him. He gives you a guarded look.
You wave and he curls in on himself. “Hi,” you start before you introduce yourself. “My mom told me to make friends here. So I said my name, what’s yours?”
The boy interlocks his fingers and swings his feet.
“Shinsou Hitoshi.”
Age 8
Lunch time was always the best part of the day. It meant you could hangout with Shinsou uninterrupted. The two of you, through the networking of your mothers, realized you live close by and began to walk to school together. The friendship was a bumpy start, but what’s a little girl to do?
“Did you watch the new ranger show last night? It was an All Might special!”
Shinsou nods next to you eagerly, his bento half eaten. His chubby cheeks are full of onigiri as he swallows. “It was so cool,” he emphasized, “but I’m still waiting for the day they talk about Eraserhead!”
You giggle and stick out your tongue. “That’s only because he’s similar to you!” You lightly tease him and keep eating your lunch. “Are you gonna be at the group meet?” You frown as he shakes his head. Since his quirk has developed he’s been avoiding the support group. Why? Does he not want to hang out anymore? They all like him there!
You’re about to respond when a group of girls come up to you and Shinsou. You recognize these girls as the popular ones in your grade with cool quirks to match. Suddenly you’ve lost your appetite. You try to close your bento box and lay down but they speak first.
“Ew,” the ring leader starts, “why is your bento box a hero? You know that you don’t have a quirk right? It should be something lame and boring- like you!” They all laugh around you, pointing and calling you a quirkless loser. You try to drown out their laughter as you shrink in on yourself.
Shinsou stands up and puts himself in between you and the girls. He extends his arms out wide to block them from you. There’s a determined anger in his eyes that many have never seen. “Why don’t you just leave her alone?”
“Because it’s easy-“
The girl stops mid sentence and walks away. That’s when it dawns on them that he had accidentally used his quirk. The other two girls stare at him and start to yell out. “You’re not supposed to use your quirk in class you freak! Undo it! We’re gonna tell the teacher!”
Shinsou blinks quickly as he looks between you and your bullies. He can feel his throat getting clogged up but he removes the brainwashing through the threat of tears. When he sits down, you place a hand on his shoulder and softly ask, “are you okay?”
He shrugs you off and lays his head down. The girls had already called the teacher and soon Shinsou was escorted out of class.
You didn’t see him for a few days.
Age 13
You were lucky to have been in the same class as Shinsou throughout middle school. It was a relief to have someone you know as opposed to having to introduce yourself as the quirkless girl. It was so rare to not have a quirk that you only talked with Shinsou, and some boy online who also was born without one.
It was lonely, but you still did your best to be a normal middle school girl.
You got the trendiest clothes, kept up your grades, stayed out of drama, performed well in sports clubs and music clubs, and best of all you stayed friends with Shinsou Hitoshi. Although your growth was more positive, Shinsou had grown colder. He tried not to be seen around you, would keep to himself more as you began to flourish, and started getting bullied more and more. He tried to keep it from you, knowing you have your own struggles. You didn’t want to press it, and so you kept your emotions about the whole thing to a light simmer.
When different hero high schools began to come to the schools, tension began to rise. Sure, he had a couple of other friends, but the two of you had always maintained a special bond. After the recruit from UA left, most of the chatter was about what they’ll do with their quirks and what kind of hero they’ll become.
“I’m gonna apply to UA.”
Several heads in the classroom turned toward Shinsou, all of them with similar expressions. The first to speak was the “jock” of the class. He walks over to his desk and grabs a hold of the sides. The way Shinsou’s back tenses tugs at your heart as you start to struggle with what to do.
“You? Be a hero? Get real! You have a brainwashing quirk. Only villains do that, and UA doesn’t produce world class villains.” The class around him laughs as Shinsou stares at him blankly. Your jaw drops and you grab at the hem of your skirt. Hitoshi had mentioned the villain thing before but seeing it in person is more cruel than you can take. The rest of the class laughs and jostle him, saying he’s better off applying for a villain academy.
The taunting gets worse and you can’t take it anymore. You aggressively push up and out of your seat. You position yourself between the jock and Shinsou’s desk, arms stretched out wide. Your eyebrows are furrowed as you stare at the bully. “Leave him alone,” you demand. “He’s done nothing to you. Any of you! Anyone can be a hero!”
Another boy comes up next to the jock and stares you down with a smirk. “Oh look, the quirkless loser is standing up for him. Let me guess, he brainwashed you into being his friend?”
“No,” you quickly reply, “but it seems like you’ve been brainwashed into thinking your outfit is decent.”
Your arms start to shake from exhaustion as they stay extended. Your classmates laugh at your insult and it seems the whole thing is forgotten. When they step away, you finally put your hands down and walk back to your desk. Normally, you would have spoken with him but he couldn’t see you cry. Shinsou looks over his shoulder in attempts to get your attention, but doesn’t succeed. As the teacher returns, you ask to be excused for the restroom where you cried into your arms there. Even after all this time, you’re still an outcast.
A few minutes pass and you finally leave the bathroom. As you walk outside, you’re greeted by your long time friend. You pat your eyes quickly and croak out, “Toshi! What are you doing here?”
He smiles gently at you and gives you a warm yet quick hug. “I’m here to walk you back to class. I was worried… and I wanted to thank you. For you know standing up to them.”
You nod and walk with him. Your heartbeat calms down as you walk close together side by side. You take a deep breath as the classroom door approaches.
“I think you’re going to be a great hero.”

For day 3 of Bunnydoll Week 2024 - Children
Tumblr media
Ethan had had enough. Ever since his and Owyn’s younger sister had been born, it seemed that everyone in the circus had forgotten about him. He knew little Arabella had serious health problems and had to stay under their parents’ observation most of the time, but that didn’t mean the twins weren’t important.
The younger rag bunny threw another rock into the Digital Lake. His brother was probably looking for bugs with Kinger since he was the chess piece’s favorite ‘grandchild’. In fact, no one liked Ethan except Mom, Dad, and Owyn. He was always fooling around, destroying the props on adventures, and was locked in his room by Caine a few times. Sometimes he even thought that Ragatha only loved him because he was her child, when in reality she was deeply disappointed by his behavior.
A single tear fell from his eye. He was just a kid.
“You okay, kiddo?”
Ethan wiped away the tear and turned to face his father. Jax had his hands in the pockets of his overalls and a look of exhaustion on his face. He had been sitting with Ellie for the last two hours, occasionally rubbing her tiny head to soothe her.
“How’s Mama doing?”
“Still needs some time to recover.” Jax sighed. He hated to admit that watching over their newborn was quite a challenge for him, especially since Ellie’s condition was still a mystery for Caine to solve. Ragatha was not feeling any better. She hadn’t gotten out of bed since the birth, needing a lot of rest. All the circus members were required to help with the fussy rag bunny, who was still uncomfortable with a button in place of her left eye. Even though she was only a digital being, the pain she felt was strangely as real as possible.
There was a moment of silence between father and son before Ethan decided to say what was on his mind. He was stubborn and grumpy, definitely taking more after Jax. But like any other kid, his mentality was fragile.
“Why no one loves me?”
Jax’s eyes widen. He had softened a lot over the years, but only when it came to Ragatha and their children. To hear his own son ask him the same question he had asked himself when he was much younger was something he hadn’t expected at all. Did this mean that he had failed as a father?
He was no saint, that was more than obvious. But on the day the twins were born, he promised himself that he would not be like his own parents. Yes, from time to time he called them little [BEEP]s, however, that was just his way of showing affection.
“What the- what are you talking about?” Jax tried to keep the tone of his voice stern, but the slight tremble was definitely there. “Stop talking nonsense, kiddo. Mom loves you, Owyn loves you, and I love you. Hell, even Kinger loves you! And don’t think otherwise.”
“But Uncle Caine locks me in my room and won’t let me play with the others.”
“Because you’re annoying him.”
“Annoying him is fun.” Ethan pouted, his short leg kicking a larger rock. How could something that was supposed to be a mix of both Jax and Ragatha turn out to be almost an exact copy of his father? “You annoy him too.”
Damn, this kid was too smart for his own good. Jax wanted to say something, but he knew he should refrain from some words. Instead, he just crouched down and put both of his hands on Ethan’s shoulders.
“Listen, Ethan. I’m not good at this whole dad talk, but let me tell you something.” He took a deep breath before continuing. “It’s not the number of people that matters most when it comes to loving someone, as long as their love is genuine. I remember your mother crying with happiness when she saw the two of you for the first time. But you were annoyingly noisy compared to Owyn, I almost grabbed you by the onesie and threw you in the Digital Lake.”
The rag bunny let out a giggle, his father’s words immediately making him feel a little better. Seeing the change in mood, Jax smiled under his breath but didn’t stop his monologue.
“Then you became extremely clingy and wouldn’t let Mom leave you in someone else’s arms, even for a while. She gave you lots of hugs and kisses, even more than she gave me! So if you think she doesn’t love you, then I’m sorry, buddy, but you’re so wrong.”
“She loves me even when I cause too much chaos?”
“Ethan, [BEEP], she would give her life for you, Owyn, and Ellie. Causing chaos doesn’t mean you don’t deserve her love, and I know that from experience.”
Without saying anything, Ethan snuggled into Jax’s soft fur. Comfort from his dad was all he needed right now and he was more than happy to get it. Even though he knew full well that it was Ragatha's words that Jax quoted regarding love.
Still, it was enough to make him believe he was truly loved.
“You know your old man used to steal my centipedes?” Kinger handed Owyn a butterfly net, ready for another bug hunt. “But I found them all, thanks to your mama! Weird, right?”
“Mama doesn’t like centipedes.” The oldest rag bunny spun around with the net, which was bigger than he was. It was fascinating that he was interested in bugs at such a young age, unlike Ethan.
Both twins were going through a hard time, they hadn’t even had a chance to get to know their younger sister properly. Not to mention that they had barely seen their mother in the last few weeks. Owyn, being the calmer one, handled the situation better and tried to spend as much time with Ethan as possible. Their behavior was different, but there were still twins who cared so much for each other. The moment Owyn saw his brother enter the main area, he immediately ran up to him.
“Ethan! Do you want to catch butterflies with us?”
“Huh? Oh, not really.”
“Actually.” Jax suddenly came up behind them, causing the younger twin to jump. He grinned and then put his hands on the boys’ shoulders. “How about we go see how Mama and Ellie are doing?”
“We can?!” The twins shouted in unison.
“Only if you don’t tell anyone.”
Jax and Ragatha’s shared bedroom was larger than the rest as it was created by erasing the wall between their separate rooms. It was pure coincidence that they were next to each other. Before the twins arrived, Caine made a few changes, like adding a double bed and some baby supplies.
At that moment, Ragatha was lying on the bed with baby Ellie nestled against her chest. After a few hours of soothing the newborn, they finally managed to get her to sleep. Ragatha yawned, growing increasingly tired and desperate to rest as well. Just as she was about to close her non-button eye, the door opened and she soon felt two more rag bunnies clinging to her.
“Ah, hello my babies. I missed you so much.” Gently, she lifted a hand to stroke her sons’ heads. “Just remember to be quiet. We don’t want to wake your sister from her peaceful slumber.”
Ethan leaned out from behind Ragatha’s back and his eyes widened the moment he saw Ellie for the first time. She was tiny, her chest rising and falling slowly. The missing left eye didn't make her any uglier, honestly, the blue button added a certain charm to her already adorable appearance.
Jax lay down as well, admiring his daughter and especially his wife, who was more than close to dozing off. Owyn also changed position, squeezing in between his parents’ legs to make sure Ellie had plenty of space around her so as not to disturb her.
“Come here, buddy.” The rabbit pawed at the spot between him and Owyn. Ethan smiled and immediately hopped onto the mattress.
For the first time in his life, he actually felt loved.

Part 2!
In the time of Aang and Sokka being knocked out, the Water Tribe completely takes over the Fire Nation, drowning most of the small islands and taking control of all their factories to make themselves weapons. Azula and Zuko get word a couple weeks after the WT takes control about what happened and it causes them to go to Kuei and demand that something needs to be done. Knowing now that they are literally the last stand against the WT, Kuei agrees to stage one final desperate attack. The day after he agrees to this, Sokka and Aang both wake up. Zuko takes Aang aside and tells him about what happened but this is also the time when Aang realizes that he no longer has his bending. Meanwhile, Sokka and Azula talk because Sokka saved her life. (Azula: Why? Why not join your sister and go home. Sokka: My dad...he isn't the best guy and I figured that out too late. Now my grandmother has been taken prisoner and my nation has conquered yours. Azula: There was nothing you could have done to stop the Fire Nation from being conquered. It's not your fault. Sokka: Thank you. Azula: But don't think that means we're all going to suddenly accept you with open arms. You have a LOT to make up for. Sokka: I know. All I ask is the chance to make up for it. Azula: Well, I guess throwing yourself in front of an attack to save me from getting stabbed by your sister is a good start towards getting that chance. Sokka: Start? Azula, smirking: Fine. You can have a chance. Sokka: Thank you. Azula: Not that it'll matter. Sokka: Why wouldn't it matter?) Azula tells Sokka about Aang and Sokka goes running off towards Aang, yelling and asking if he ever learned waterbending. Aang says no and Sokka reveals that since he never did he can still waterbend because that chi path was never unlocked (I don't know).
Sokka starts teaching Aang what little waterbending he knows (which isn't a ton being a non bender and all but some)(he’s also taking it easy because that’s what you do after you’ve been stabbed). While they do that, the Gaang also tries to figure out the best time to attack the WT. Sokka suggests going after them during the winter solstice. Since it's such a huge celebration and the one time they bring out Tui and La, all eyes will be on them and there will be fewer soldiers guarding the nation and the royal family. Sokka also provides them with information for how to go around the soldiers and get to the royal palace from behind. No one guards there because it's all just a giant frozen tundra, unless you have amazing equipment and are okay with the very real possibility of starving, freezing or being eaten then no one is going to get through that. The Council of Five takes the information and uses it to plan for an attack during the winter solstice. Since it's better for them to be there during the attack, the Gaang decide to fly over and stay in the WT until it's time for the attack.
They arrive in the North Pole (which is where everything is located for the WT) and start hiding out in different location, slowly getting closer and closer to the tundra while the EK comes up from behind, ready to meet them so that Sokka can guide them through the tundra. While in the North Pole, Sokka and Azula grow closer and closer especially when Sokka continues to show how trustworthy he is. (Sokka: Look! Look! You guys have to try this! Toph: What is it? Sokka: Seal jerky! It’s delicious. Aang: Ummm….maybe I’ll sit this one out. Sokka: Right. Uh-Oh! Try this. It’s called Mooncake. Aang: Mmm!! This is amazing. Sokka: I told you. Azula: You eat this? Sokka: Yeah? Why wouldn’t I? It’s delicious. Azula: I figured a prince would have more of a….fine dining experience. Sokka: Well, I did, but I also just ate regular snacks whenever I could. This was one of my favorites. My mom used to bring us down here and she’d….uh…. Azula: And she’d? Sokka: Sorry, I forgot.) Sokka and Azula bond over their love of WT food and Azula grows to really enjoy some WT activities such as penguin sledding, hunting and seeing the animals (despite what she says Azula find the orcas and leopard caribou so cute and loves listening to Sokka info dump about them). The two are also there for each other when it becomes too much to be in the WT (for Azula because she’s literally in the nation that killed her mom and for Sokka because he misses his home but know he’s not coming back anytime soon). (And yes both Sokka and Azula suck at flirting).
Throughout this time, the Gaang is also able to see more of the WT and come to understand why the war was starting and continued. It was started because the WT didn’t believe they could fully live off the land, at least to the same degree people did in the FN and EK, and when no one helped them, they grew angry and attacked. It was then continued because of Kya’s death and the inability of the royal family to process that grief. Despite what Katara and Hakoda have done, Aang does understand what grief can do to a person and is inclined to at least talk to them to see if there’s a chance they can end this without anyone getting hurt. Sokka doesn’t think there’s a chance of that but be also doesn’t want to hurt his sister and father (he’s split). Eventually, they arrive at the spot and meet the EK army.
Sokka guides the EK through the tundra, facing only a few bumps in the roads, edited they arrive at the royal palace just as the ceremony begins. Realizing that they’re being attacked, the tribe’s main focus is protecting Tui and La so there’s less defense surrounding Katara and Hakoda. Katara instantly runs off to attack the incoming invaders and begins bloodbending them without wasting a second. A blast from Azula forces Katara to release her hold and a rock over her eyes from Toph keeps Katara from bending. She can still waterbend, and does, but she can’t aim anymore and ends up hitting a few of her own people. (Azula: Did you mean to stab your own people? I wouldn’t be shocked. I mean you did stab your own brother. Katara: It was meant for you! I won’t miss this time, ashmaker!) Sokka joins the battle with Azula against Katara while Aang, Toph and Zuko go after Hakoda. The WT army, being in their native element, is a good match against the EK but they were also very much caught off guard and it allows the EK to take advantage of that surprise.
(Split into two) With Hakoda, Aang is trying to convince him to end the war and to stop the fighting, arguing that Kya wouldn’t have wanted this to happen. Hakoda refuses to listen to Aang and says that the world needs the pay for her death. Meanwhile, Azula and Sokka are fighting Katara and doing a better job of stopping her. Katara does get the rock off her eyes but Azula and Sokka are moving too fast and hitting her with too many attacks for her to bloodbend. Katara gets the chance to attack Sokka again but when she does all she can see is her mother and can’t bring herself to hurt him again. (Katara: Get out of here, Sokka. I’m giving you a chance. If you leave now and don’t return then I won’t look for you. Sokka: You know I can’t do that, Kat. Katara: Sokka, please, I can’t-…..we have to do this. Sokka: No, you don’t!) Azula also steps in with her own advice about her mother’s death. Together, they’re able to convince Katara to stand down and the three go after Hakoda. All together, the Gaang defeat him and his soldiers and bring the war to an end. Because of her role in the war, Katara is put under palace arrest (get it🥲) and Sokka takes over as ruler in the WT with Azula going between the FN (which has been…un-flooded) and the North Pole.
Sokkla Opposite AU, where Sokka is the banished Water Empire Prince looking for the Avatar and Azula is the last firebender of Hira'a who just found a boy inside a volcano.
Hello, @stardust948 !!! (BTW Love this reverse AU!)
1. Azula grew up in Hira’a because that’s where Ursa took the children and fled to when the Water Tribe attacking (very big mistake making your main city basically in a bowl). Iroh, Ozai, Lu Ten, Azula and Zuko were living their lives in the royal palace when the WT attacked and Ursa took the kids and fled to Hira’a which is where they’ve spent most of their lives (13 years). Ursa never stopped telling her children stories about Caldera and a time before the Water Tribe attacked and the Avatar which Azula rejected by Zuko was mesmerized by. Azula never really thought the Avatar could be alive and instead wanted to focus on defeating the Water Tribe so that they could go home. Iroh, Ozai and Lu Ten all never come to Hira’a so Ursa has no clue what happened to them but, shortly before Aang comes, she’s killed by the Water Tribe (who are looking for any remaining members of the Royal Family). Azula is the last firebender left in the area and feels the weight of this everyday. One day, she and Zuko are by the volcano (Zuko: Yeah. The Water Tribe would never look for two firebenders near a volcano. What a crazy idea. Azula: Zuzu. Zuko: Yes? Azula: I will know you into the active volcano. Please shut up. I’m trying to focus.) Of course he doesn’t shut up, Azula gets made and a familiar airbender pops out.
2. Sokka was banished by his father because he’s a nonbender. (Kinda hypocritical since Hakoda’s a nonbender too but…) Basically, Sokka was scarred and banished because Hakoda wanted Katara to take charge. He believed that she, being a girl in the Water Tribe, would be far more easy to control when she was on the throne as opposed to Sokka. So, Hakoda tricks Sokka so that when he goes on a traditional hunt, Sokka is attacked by a polar bear dog and blinded in one eye and returns home empty handed. Hakoda regards this as Sokka’s failure to show he can’t lead (he can’t even catch some food for a family. How is he expected to lead a nation?) and banishes him to find the Avatar. When Sokka sees the light coming from the Fire Nation island, he knows that this is his moment. (Sokka: Gran Gran, do you know what this means?!?! Kanna: That we have to go to the land where 80 degrees is their record low temperature?). Sokka’s scar is three long scratches over his eye and he can’t see out of it, so he relies on his other eye and good hearing to detect things. Also, because of his lack of bending, he’s become an expert in weapons and hand to hand combat which aids him greatly in an initial fight against Zuko (which he wins easily) and he doesn’t get to fight Aang because the airbender goes with him without issue (Aang: I bet none of you Water Tribe soldiers have ever fought an airbender before…)
3. When the Fire Nation was attacked, firebenders fled all over the planet and were hunted down by the Water Empire. Realizing they were weak, a good number of firebenders took whatever resources they could find and fled to the old Sun Warriors civilization. Azula and Zuko, being former royalty, were able to get that information and tell Aang about it so he can learn firebending (I changed the cycle. It’s now air, fire, earth and water). However, to throw Sokka off their trial they have to make a couple stops in the Earth Kingdom first. (Azula: I’m telling you, based on how Aang flies that water prince won’t be able to track us. Aang: What do you mean how I fly? Azula: We literally flew across two islands then flew back to both of those islands. Aang: Seems normal to me Azula: Yeah, no one is figuring out our pattern.) In the Earth Kingdom, they find Mai, who also fled with her family but they went to the Earth Kingdom. Mai is still trained as a markswoman but now she’s also helping the Yuyan archers. (Zuko: MAI! Azula: Your girlfriend is alive after all. Aang: Girlfriend? Azula: Mai and Zuko were inseparable before the Water Tribe attacked Caldera. They literally did everything together. Zuko: What?! No, we didn’t. Azula: Okay, we’ll pretend. Maybe we can also pretend the sky isn’t blue, Appa isn’t big and the Water Tribe doesn’t suck too. Zuko: 😡 Azula: This is only proving my point). Mai agrees to join after realizing where they’re going and what they’re trying to do.
4. Bato is a bit different from Zhao. He’s a family friend, but also Bato doesn’t just tell Sokka not to try and capture Aang. He gives him a chance but when Sokka can’t, he steps in and tells Sokka to remain put while he handles it. (Kind of in a…. ‘You’re my kinda sorta nephew’ way). Would you believe that Sokka doesn’t listen? Bato figures out where they’re going and that that’s the hiding place of the firebenders. The Water Tribe empire sends as many ships as possible and attacks while Azula, Zuko and Aang are there. When they arrived to the Sun Warrior’s home, they met Ty Lee who became a sort of spiritual person since her time in Caldera and is very closely connected to the dragons. When the city is attacked, she and the dragons emerge to protect the people and one of the dragons is shot down. The Water Tribe has GREAT respect for the spirits but they don’t really care for the first benders of other nations so killing a dragon is not a big deal to them. You know who it is a big deal for? Aang. While Aang attacks the Water Tribe, Ty Lee sacrifices herself to become the second dragon and maintain balance. (Sokka: Bato! Bato! Bato, hardly breathing because the dragon drove its claws into his chest: Hey, Sokka. Sokka: BATO! Bato, don’t worry. We’ll get a healer and- Bato: Don’t. I’m okay. Sokka: The blood coming out of your body would say otherwise. Bato: Sokka, I don’t know what you know about your father’s plan but promise me you’ll stay safe. Sokka: I- Bato: Promise me. Sokka: I promise. Bato: Good. Good….Sokka: Bato?…Bato…😭) (Hakoda: Ugh! Advisor: Sir, I- Hakoda: Get Katara! Advisor: But the princess- Hakoda: Get her! Tell her that she has her first mission. Bringing her brother back and killing Team Avatar. I have a feeling her newest skill will be very useless for that.)
5. Katara in canon was incredibly strong on just a couple weeks of training. Now imagine her with years of training and being okay with bloodbending (yeah....not good). As the princess of the Water Empire, Katara has a military force behind her but chooses not to use it because she wants to move swiftly. To do so, she uses Yue and Suki to help her. Yue isn’t exactly a princess (since only Katara can fulfill that role) but because the Water Tribe is incredibly spiritual, she is held in high esteem for having some of Tui’s life force. Unlike Azula and Zuko in canon, Katara and Sokka get along great. The second Sokka sees Katara he runs over to hug her and ask her how she’s been. Katara really doesn’t have any bad intentions so she tells Sokka about the mission their father has given her and if he wants to help. Sokka grows worried though because he doesn’t have Aang and wonders why his father could want him back without the Avatar. (Katara: He wants you back. What’s the problem? Sokka: I just….I don’t know. It feels weird. Katara: He’s our father. Sokka: I know and I know he just wants what’s best for us both but- Katara: He probably wants you back now because the Avatar is back. Hope will return to the Earth Kingdom and whatever’s left of those ashmakers may come together again. We need our Prince. Sokka: You’re right. Katara: I always am. Sokka: Spirits, I forgot how annoying you are when you’re right. Katara: I’d like to think of it as more….announcing to the world that I’m smarter than you. Sokka: You were right in this one argument. Let’s not get ahead of ourselves). The first time the four meet the Gaang, Katara goes right for bloodbending and bloodbends them all. (Katara: You’re not living up to the legend, Avatar). She only losses because Azula hits her with enough fire that Katara has to back up and they escape on Appa. (Sokka: You learned to bloodbend during the day?!?! Katara: That’s not all I learned. Sokka: What do you mean? Katara: Let’s just say I have a very…creative way to make sure that little firebender and the Avatar never bend a single element again).
(Plus one) 6. In Ba Sing Se, Sokka realizes the truth: that Hakoda doesn’t want him to return and grows terrified of going back with Katara. With very limited options, since Katara is seconds from taking over the city, he decides to switch sides and make a desperate jump to Aang’s team (Azula: Why would you join us? Sokka:….The good of the world? Azula: 😑). Of course, no one on the team trusts him but they’re a little occupied with fighting Katara to really worry about that. While fighting in the final battle, it’s Katara vs Sokka, Azula and Aang and Katara is very angry that Sokka changed sides. She’s angry enough that it throws her off her game and she ends up at Azula’s mercy with a flame to her throat. (Aang: Azula, no! Azula: We have to! If we don’t kill her now then she’ll kill us later! Aang: No! We can’t kill her. Azula, taking her eyes off of Katara: Aang- Sokka, noticing what Katara is about to do: Azula, watch out! *He pushes her out of the way of one of Katara’s attacks and Katara sends an ice blade past Azula and straight into Sokka’s chest. Sokka: AHHHH!! Azula: Sokka!) Katara takes the moment of panic to attack Aang, bloodbending him and Azula down and removing Aang’s bending but being forced to flee (cause….the Earth King has guards) before she can remove Azula’s. Azula, Zuko and the guards get Aang and Sokka to a healer’s room while Katara, Yue and Suki flee the city without being detected. Azula remains with Sokka and Aang while they heal, staying with Sokka until he actually wakes up. (Azula: He saved my life. Zuko: He did. Maybe he has changed. Azula: Zuko: Azula? Azula: No one’s ever….Zuzu? Zuko: Yes? Azula: Nevermind. It’s not important. I’ll talk to Sokka when he wakes up.)

Why do people keep saying they want Agatha to adopt Billy or that Billy is a motherless child or that Agatha is Billy's new mom.... Y'all he says Rebecca is his mom, canonically in the show. Agatha isn't his mom.

I’m not going to lie I’m like really stuck and don’t know what to do with my feelings about All Of This. I dont have therapy until next week and they don’t have space to move me up and I dont really have anyone else to talk through how I feel ? I dont know what to do.
#like I live in my dads house. and he voted against me.#I didn’t speak to him at all yesterday because I just can’t look at him#I knew he was gonna vote that way but it didn’t seem real until it was already too late#and like my mom says he doesn’t have bad intentions but I don’t know how I’m supposed to know that ???#like he knew what voting for that entailed and he still did it anyways regardless of what his actual reasons were#and it makes me even MORE sick because I know that like 90% of my family voted that way too. how am I supposed to do holidays ?#and it makes me sick EVEN MORE because my best friend and my sister didn’t vote but if they had they would have voted that way too#so I genuinely have nobody to speak to about this but my mom and she does not want to hear me shit talk my dad#like I live in a state that’s almost definitely going to remain safe for me#but it’s hard to know that they look at me and claim they love me and then turn and look at people just like me and vote for their demise#like do they really love me ? do they really see me as a person ?#I know the call to action is to condemn their supporters but how do you do that when you’re entire support network is made up of people who#wouldn’t care if you lived or died if you weren’t related to them ?#what do you do if you live in your conservative dad’s house and there is literally nowhere to run because you can’t even afford to get a#shit apartment ?#what do you do when you’re just as alone with these people as you are without ?#vent post

thinking a lot lately about how jann is an old soul... like, this boy does not check his phone for days at a time, doesn't know what audrey 'liking his story' means in terms of flirtation, calls people he wants to talk to (no one under 25 does this now lol), listens to 80s/90s smooth jazz, his primary mode of transportation before gt academy was his dad's '85(?) vw corrado.
i'm also gonna assume he understands all of jack's old man cultural references and they bond over it bc that is my design

Ugh I was excited for today until I found out I'd have to spend it with people that actively make me hate being alive hate the future and drain me off all energy physically mentally spiritually like a vampire I can't stand to be around her she is the definition of stupidity and even then that's generous as fuck this bitch has filled her brain with so much garbage I watch her brain cells die at alarming rates every single time she uses her vocal cords her giggles make me want to jam a sewing needle into my ear repeatedly so I can never have to hear it again its a friendly reminder that my parents decisions this time my dad's constantly makes me want to die

sometimes my bestfriend is like an angel in disguise istg
#i was justttttt thinking that aw it's so sad that navratri music is playling everywhere and i don't have friends to go with#like last year atleast i had tuition sorta friends but now ive isolated them too it sucks#but i was like well it's okay ill do it when i grow up celebrate every festival i didn't get to in my house because we just never do#and then she calls and she's like let's go this club jahan every year famous hota hai full celebration#and i was like ehh i don't want to i don't even know how to play and ill have to convince dad for raat can't we just#go to a cafe or something dopahar mein uske liye i don't even need permission#and she even agreed but she sounded sad and disappointed about it so i was like well fuck it you want to go club na#and she was like yeahhh so i was like aagh okay and i asked and we're going tomorrow!!!!!#and it's so ridiculous like i just say i don't want to go but it's actually so exciting to go someplace other than a cafe!!!!#and i was complaining to her ki okay ill go but i won't dress up and five mins later me and mumma are making full outfit with dupatta#style decided jewellery she has saved for years that are specifically navratri types and she's like we'll get my blouse altered it's fine#you know being sick has really given me perspective on my parents#im not going to hate my mom anymore i never used to growing up i always thought she was brave but helpless#but a stupid day in 12th i realised when we were talking that technically she COULF get divorced she just#doesn't want to because she'll be alone and she thinks we're growing up and leaving anyway so why should she let go of financial#stability for us. which is wild to me because girl you can't buy anything you want without his permission so i don't understand what's the#point if he's rich or poor but whatever whatever she's been raised this way etc etc#but anyway being sick really made me realise who the real monster is😭 all dad did was shout horribly at me all the time#and was like don't you dare take meds they're fake this is all just junk food stop eating it and you'll be fine. when i was literally#having 103 FEVER.#and mom was the one who was making me different drinks juices cutting up fruits staying with me as i get my blood drawn#checking my fever sote jaagte#like wow i literally wouldn't have gotten better if it wasn't for her and i couldn't believe how attentive and nice she was being#like yes i understand she just thinks this is her duty she's just playing her role a mother a housewife but still#idk i just realized that okay atleast she's good at being a mother dad isn't even that why am i feeling good about him when his love#not even love his politeness is so fucking conditional#and mom healed me even tho i told her about clubbing and drinking lots of alcohol she's kinda against it because she's seen#horrible things in life family yucky men but still she understands ans trusts my sister mostly and know we just do it for fun and she#wasn't even mad!!!!!!! like wow ooay#moms love is actually not conditional for the first time in my life i felt like if i fall maybe she could be there to catch me and dad wld
