Requesting info on the 6th house au you were posting about bc yo that sounds cool
You can't see it through a screen but I'm like
Actually physically vibrating.
I came up with this AU over a year ago and it was basically "what if Alexi (my Nerevarine) just. Joined the 6th House instead of killing Dagoth Ur?"
The timing of WHEN she joined has changed a bit (from right before the fight to when she meets Dagoth Gares) and the REASONING has changed a lot (from "I don't actually like Morrowind, fuck them dudes" to "I have 0 support system and have a child and I've been sucked into a cult") but the very very basic premise is the same.
It was initially my crack AU where I couldn't tell if I wanted to ship Alexi and Dagoth Ur or not. And now it has like... Dementia metaphors. How did this even happen.
Anyways, the story ACTUALLY follows Alexi's daughter (who's never been Dagoth Ur's, no matter when in this AU's history you look). Her arc used to be centered around a lot of confusion as to why people hated her, and why things were happening, etc etc. Now she's actually gonna do something about it in the end. I'm gonna have so many random thoughts at the bottom of this just. Smushed in.
It also went from Armina being the one with zero support system to now she has an adopted sister and also a best friend/love interest when she's older. Terastelle Telvanni (sister) save me.. save me Terastelle Telvanni...
Anywho, the story has like... 2 main plots: Armina learning her dad is ✨terrible✨ and Alexi progressing through Corprus and becoming Nerevar (and losing Alexi). I will just say, though, to Armina and Tera, since they're actually IN the cult, Dagoth Ur is not a menacing figure until they know what's going on outside the mountain. I'm writing a scene where Armina literally drags him around. He's not Dagoth Ur to those kids, he's just dad.
Anyway, Alexi holds the Tools of Kagrenac (from the original au) for the most part, and she used them to manipulate the Heart to make sure her children wouldn't get Corprus (side effect was about a generation can't get it because she didn't know how to specify well). Alexi, however, DOES get it, and it leads to her physically and mentally becoming Nerevar, if that makes sense? The way it affects her is it morphs her body to be more similar to his, and it degrades her mind until she's left with only his memories and personality. And her kids have to watch it in real time 👍.
Anyway, back to the main cast: Armina, Terastelle, and Teldryn Sero. The last one was not planned.
All three represent both the main 3 star signs, as well as the Good 3 Daedra, AND they fall into "bad Daedra" counterparts later
Armina is half Bosmer and half Dunmer, and she's the Warrior and representation of Mephala (cause she's in a web of lies) and she falls to Clavicus Vile in a search for power to destroy Dagoth Ur. She fights with a big ol' 2-handed sword.
Terastelle is half Dunmer and half Altmer, she's the Mage and the representation of Boethiah. My violence wins mage <3. She falls to Malacath because of how she's treated in the cult (not as badly as those outside of the mountain, but less well than Armina, because even though Armina isn't a full Dunmer, she's also Nerevar's child, so she gets a pass). Tera gets motivated by vengeance after she learns her parents were murdered by the cult. This goes interestingly for her. Idk if she gets really hurt by it or not, but she's very scorches earth about "no Dagoth survivors" just like how her family had no survivors.
Teldryn is the thief who represents Azura, and he's the only full Dunmer in the gang, but he's from outside the mountain. When he's introduced, Blacklight is the most recent addition to the house. He falls to Sheogorath (seeking a middle ground led him to insanity or something, idk). He fights with pretty much his normal fighting style from Skyrim, which is pretty mixed. I need to develop him more in the context of the AU, but I'll get to that after this.
Anywho, random thoughts now!
As the Warrior, Armina protects the Steed from the Serpent, and Alexi's sign is the Steed 👍
Both Alexi and Armina are trying to save the people they love, in different ways, and in the end, both fail.
Is my HoK still Sheogorath or is it normal Sheo?
Armina can manipulate dreams which is part of what pushes her to be Dagoth Ur's favorite child.
The way the story is written changes as Armina grows up and then learns more about the cult. Slow-burn horror 👍
I get to write Clavicus Vile at some point, I'm excited.
Armina asking Alexi why she doesn't wear layers and Alexi trying to find a way to answer that isn't "because I don't expect to have skin for much longer anyway”. The answer she ends up going with is "Mountain's too damn hot" and then starts crying whenever her daughter leaves the room
Alexi's character in that AU is so interesting to me
Like, she's technically placed very high in the hierarchy, probably second to Dagoth Ur himself, yet she's got next to no power because those she loves would be in danger if she tried anything
Anyways, I'm writing for this, drawing for it, and I'll start posting more stuff once I have the first bit of the story written and the portrait finished. Have a Tera for your time <3
I love you, Terastelle Telvanni...

I really like Gus. I didn't skip a grade but my birthday is two days before the cut off that decides when you start school, so I was always the youngest in my grade every year. People frequently THOUGHT I must have skipped a grade because I was always the last to have a birthday. I graduated at 17 without skipping a grade, I didn't turn eighteen for another six months. Put a lot of pressure on me because everyone I was around was always older than me so there was always this feeling of needing to overcompensate to prove I wasn't a baby, y'know. And then when my dad left and I got TERMINALLY eldest daughtered it was like, if I don't turn into an adult right now my family will crumble to fucking pieces and I'm going to end up in social services. My mom has told me point blank if I hadn't stepped up and completely taken over she would have killed herself. So you know like. I knew that then, too. That's a lot of responsibility for a fifteen year old kid. But it's like, that's the hand you got dealt you know. So I tossed all my Skyrim exp into stuff like "grocery shopping" and "cooking" and "talking to social workers" and "taking care of my brother" and "being able to withstand the crushing responsibility places upon my shoulders by becoming a steady rock that will not, can not break" will putting approximately zero points into "developing emotionally or socially" or "connecting with peers" or literally anything else. I genuinely feel like I didn't developmentally move past fifteen until I was like 25. Just sort of stuck in place for years with all the emotional regulation of a teenager mid puberty. Let me tell you it is fucking wild to have a 401k but also cry asking a cashier at the gas station to buy ice because I've never done it before and I'm scared to go alone.
So I definitely vibe with the reserved maturity lil Gus exudes sometimes, it's easy to forget he's not the same age as the rest of the cast, he's literally 3-4 years younger than hunter. Being able to play the role well enough ppl around you forget you're younger than them is like terminal child adultification. Anyway [points at child] your honour I love him and I would like to adopt please

heres a bunch of skyrim junk
i dont remember what was going on here at all
finally decided to do the light house fire thing since im already probably the most wanted criminal in skyrim as it is (except nobody knows its me. im the leader of the brotherhood and the thieves guild and i have 0 bounty anywhere) (except, uh, a small one in windhelm that im just kind of walking briskly past guards to avoid. listen the action said ‘take’ the barenziah stone in the wizard’s room but it registered as ‘steal’ so i maintain that one wasnt my fault)
ANYWAY apparently jaree-ra and deeja are siblings. the more you know
anyway they fuckign BETRAYED ME and i ended up having to kill her. man :(
who would have ever suspected the argonians threatening me with knives and convincing me to cause a ship wreck for them would be up to anything suspicious
ran into these two guys just absolutely fighting to the death at a random farm somewhere for no apparent reason???
im guessing it must have been a stormcloak/imperial conflict or something but ive never seen this happen before
one of them killed the other, i forget who won
and in other news i knocked absolutely EVERYTHING over playing tag with my kids in the house
found all these skulls in a nice little line in a cave somewhere, i didnt place them like that and could find no indication as to why they’re like this either
i think neloth just really grumpily adopted me and im here for it
i found a wedding wreath in some random bandit cave somewhere i think??? ive literally never seen these anywhere other than the solitude wedding i ruined what is this doing here
MY EGGS
i picked up the basket by mistake help sdfjkslg
boy that’s just. stuck in there, isn’t it
then i decided not to do the. cannibalism quest even though i very much want to see it (im going to on another file) because even with everything she’s done i really can’t see medea justifying bringing a priest into a coven of cannibals Just To See What Would Happen especially given that she’s already killed nilsine (and definitely holds a lot of guilt over it) and sacrificed someone to boethiah (i mean. the armor i got out of that questline was sick as hell so /I/ don’t regret doing it but medea probably feels bad about that one too. assassin or not it feels worse luring someone to their death than just sniping them out with an arrow and bolting)
so my plan was to bring the guy with me to check it out and stop whatever cannibal ritual they had going on in there, which you Can in fact decide to do (though i dont think i got anything from it other than like, whatever loot i grabbed out of the room)
everything happened too fast for me to be able to process it, basically i just panicked and started firing off arrows the minute i got in
it wasn’t until i started searching the corpses i realized what happened
oh my fucking god the meat merchant in markarth is a fucking cannibal cultist what the fuck what the fuck
i got so used to him announcing the “bloodiest beef in the reach!” every time i walked by i didnt even THINK ABOUT IT AND NOW IM DEFINITELY THINKING ABOUT IT
lisbet???? my shopkeeper friend???? LISBET????
i took the statue and its now stuck in my inventory so i dont know what quest that was supposed to be for but i guess now i have to live with this reminder for the rest of my days
verulus is very scared and confused but he’s okay
one of the stable guys was in the cult too but i didnt know him
i dont know what everyone thinks happened to them, like. did everyone just Know they were cannibals and just didn’t care to do anything about it. do they think they just mysteriously never came back and no one knows why
this guy took over for lisbet
i dont know why this is so jarring to me i guess since i put off dealing with this quest for so long its like. people i saw and interacted with for months turned out to be CANNIBALS THE ENTIRE TIME
serana where the fuck did you find a dog
she just. acquires zombie servants everywhere we go but where the hell was there a dog
LOOK at all these 100s ive got piling up here. im the stealth master
i found a giant camp with this big glowing tree in the middle of it but couldn’t figure out anything to do with it?? i feel like this has to have some significance

Okay here’s how Thistle Flower became Everyone but also specifically All My Characters and All The Trees.
I mean how she became a tree is easy, because all Argonians are tree-adjacent, the Hist needed some helpers with eyes and hands and the like and they grew in the swamp and what do swamps have a ton of that are easy to catch if you’re a tree? Lizards, apparently. Take the lizards, they drink the sap, their genetic code is rewritten and now they’re Argonians and they have everything that you need in a helper when you’re a sentient godlike tree who exists out of time. There’s an alternate Tamriel where Argonians are insects and I wish I were there because then I’d look less like a scaley and more like the freak I am.
(This is also why in the DS9 TES AU, the Bajorans are Argonian, the Prophets are Hist, the Dunmer are the Cardassians, Sisko is an Imperial Commander who discovered some big magic thing in Black Marsh and now runs a settlement around it, and everything else is off topic because I didn’t set out to talk about DS9 so much as everything I talk about eventually ends up either in TES or DS9 and it was inevitable that the streams would cross.)
ANYWAY
So yeah all Argonians are so intimately related to their Hist that they could be called part-tree. In fact, they do call themselves People of the Root and they mean that literally. Thistle Flower was even studying to be a treeminder before a roving pack of Daedra that some Dunmer sorcerer sicced on her tribe to take vengeance for their especially brutal resistance to the Dunmer during the Arnesian War. After that she swore that she would take vengeance against whoever did it and whoever enabled whoever was responsible and she went out and killed just a ton of people who might have done it before she was arrested and sent to the Imperial Prison as an extremely dangerous criminal who should be kept in maximum security lest she kill again.
Caius Cosades lost his shit when the Emperor sent him this Argonian who was known for killing a ton of Dunmer and Imperials to Morrowind to fulfil the Nerevarine prophecies because that sounded to him like a recipe for disaster. If people found out that the Blades were responsible for unleashing her onto Morrowind, assuming she didn’t do anything stupid and get herself killed, then that’s it for the last shred of legitimacy that the Empire has in Morrowind.
Anyway to literally everyone’s surprise it actually went pretty well and she came to sort of like the Dunmer. (Well, to care deeply about the Ashlanders and the Morag Tong and be able to mostly deal with everyone else.) She fulfilled the prophecies, saved the world, had a weird crush on Almalexia that may have been Nerevar and may have just been her being real gay and then it all ended with the Tribunal mostly dead.
But she knew that something terrible was coming and that for all of the Tribunal’s flaws, they were keeping some horrible things at bay and with them dead and dying, someone needed to take their place. That person was going to have to be her because she had the tools, she had the knowledge and she didn’t trust anyone else not to set themselves up as godkings the way ALMSIVI had and she told herself she wasn’t going to. The one missing ingredient was the Heart of Lorkhan, which she had to destroy or else Dagoth Ur would destroy Tamriel. It was fine. She only needed a little power. So she went off across the world to search. In this search she Zero Summed.
Now, you might have heard of CHIM, that state of enlightened lucid dreaming where you transcend the false world around you and in it, you can impose your will upon it. But if those who achieve CHIM look at the spokes of the wheel of the world and see themselves, those who Zero Sum look at the wheel and see that the whole world was them and lose their individuality to become part of it. Thistle Flower looked at the boundaries of reality and gazed through the other side of the monitor and saw me.
I first played Morrowind when I was about 12 years old. I made Thistle Flower when I was 13, since the save file I was using got corrupted and I had heard of “roleplaying” from forums that I was frankly too young to be on. She was almost the archetypical Mary Sue, at least for a young, isolated autistic kid who didn’t care for boys the way the other girls did and who found escape through this badass assassin who everyone loved and was afraid of who loved reading books about ancient civilizations and who traveled around looking at neat new critters. And as I grew up, I never let her go, she just grew with me. “Daemon Huntress”, the cool edgy sounding custom class I gave her became “Daedra Hunter” as I came up with a background for that that made any sense at all in the lore. She was never super gender conforming but she became less so as I became less so. I kept her close to my heart as I made other characters to play Morrowind the way she wouldn’t, like become a vampire or join a Great House or anything and those characters joined her in an increasingly elaborate little shared universe that only got bigger and more elaborate over the 17-some years I’ve been playing these dumb games.
And in that way, we recognized each other. That we were never really apart. That she’s a part of me, and as such, she’s a part of everything else I make. She had set out to stop the gates of Oblivion from opening and spilling into Nirn and when a Nord Battlemage with pretty boy good looks and memories that he didn’t realize were manifesting and changing over time was born in a prison cell, he went on to save the world, just the way she had hoped to do.
And so on and so forth. She fought Dragons as the Dragonborn, stood against Molag Bal eleven times and stood by him once, has been the Speaker of the Dark Brotherhood twice, once as a top young Dunmer girl who hated her for killing her family, another time as an Altmer deserter who just wanted to use the weapon they had made him into for himself instead of the people who used him, had fought on both sides of the Skyrim Civil War, has been everyone you have ever imagined and is now distributed in the very soul of the world.
The Hist remembers her and the Hist honors her. The People know that she is the root, for better or for worse. They’ve taken on some of her peculiarities: when the Argonians invaded Morrowind they made peace with the Ashlanders, they scoured Dwemer ruins in a meticulous way that a trained archaeologist would, they left key infrastructure intact and even rebuilt a number of cities before retreating back into the swamps, all because the Hist was subconsciously driving their Argonians towards that, and the Hist in turn were driven by Thistle Flower, who only wanted justice both for her people and her adopted homeland. It’s unclear to anyone whether or not the Hist know this has happened, since they’ve never been clear in ways that bipeds understand. But she shows up in the sap, and has always shown up in the sap, from the Dawn Era to the inevitable end of all things
#oc: thistle flower#absolute raving nonsense#so self indulgent that i feel vulnerable posting all this#some neckbeard is gonna show up and tell me that i got zero summing wrong and they can just fuck off#the lore literally only matters because of what it means to you!!!#long post

Been playing too much Skyrim and thinkin bout me Skyrim oc Alchem and his backstory
So his character is basically "Big, Beefy, Respects Women" in the simplest terms but he's also developed this very weird moral code?
He tries not to steal if he can help it (there were a couple mistakes from me misclicking ahsgdhsbs, also robbing graves and ruins doesn't count so he does that all day every day) and despite all the sneaky bonuses they give you at the beginning of the game when you pick khajiit for your character, he's bad at it anyway sgdhahd (he's a heavy armour boy he's too LOUD) stealth is for CHUMPS
He also very aggressively has some hangups about being forced to kill someone, like he lives in Skyrim so he accepts having to kill in self defense, and I mean he's big and buff so if you ask nicely he might do a murder favour for you, plus if you abuse children you immediately die by his hands, but if you railroad him into having to kill someone he doesn't want to, he is Not Down
I went in that abandoned house with that rando to be a good samaritan but then Molag Bal locked us in and made us kill eachother and both I and Alchem was so mad, and then later with the Dark Brotherhood in that random shed this kinda became like a character quirk? Agshsbs Alchem killed Astrid like immediately 'cause he really hates when people try to get him to kill people he hasn't deemed worthy of killing yet (those people in the shed might be bad but I have no way of knowing I am a cat man locked in a shed with an assassin qwq)
He also kinda has a bit of a vengeance streak? He's a sweet boy who respects women and loves kids but he did go on a rampage afterwards to destroy the Dark Brotherhood (nothing personal, Alchem's just pissed lol) and the only reason he didn't go on a years long quest to kill Molag Bal is 'cause he's a daedric prince and you can't agsgsgdsjjs
His backstory is kinda messy, I'm not the greatest with lore (I like it a lot and find it really fun but I also sometimes.....only take it as a suggestion qwq) but I think I'll make it that my boy Alchem was born in Elsweyr, which is low-key controlled by the thalmor rn I believe, 'cause of the moon shenanigans, and I think?? this is probably super edgy and dramatic I'm sorry but I think he was raised to be some kinda soldier? A bit of a killing machine? The khajiit in Skyrim I think are supposed to be Cathay but I might alter his design to make him a cathay-raht? Big boy.....imagine u get adopted and yer dad is literally a giant fluffy cat man who brings presents every time he comes home....sissels living the LIFE (she deserves it)
Anyway I think maybe he was raised to be some kinda soldier under the thalmor and somewhere along the way he got sick of all them racists and dissented Real Hard, which also explains why he seems to hold a real big grudge against the thalmor despite being a khajiit from Elsweyr (this mainly came from the fact that as a player i kill all the thalmor I see ahsgdhsbs)
I dunno if that's too dramatic and doesn't follow the lore enough but I tried orz anyway the gist of it all is Alchem is a Big Boy who respects women and loves kids but also he holds a lot of grudges and if you cross him he will stop at nothing until he gets revenge
Oof
Y'know him being a cathay-raht might also help explain, at least outside game fiction wise, how this big sweet boy has such high intimidation stats, for some reason I'm really good at intimidation checks in this game? I don't know why? Is it cause of all my daedric artifacts? I heard if you have daedric armour it adds intimidation, is it the same with swords and stuff? Why is everyone so scared of Alchem, he is fine u have nothing to be afraid of (unless you're thalmor, Molag Bal, or the dark brotherhood)
Anyway I dunno I love my dragon born Kitty qwq

Yugioh S1 Ep 43: Mokuba Simply Has No Survival Instincts
While it surely wasn’t intentional, since the 00′s hadn’t finished their course at the time this show aired, the storyline of Kaiba, the moodiest millennial of them all, the boy who works his ass off, wins every award, studies hard, and then fails at every aspect of his life when he actually goes out to try and get his career on track is just so very millennial. It’s a pretty familiar story--trained to be a shark in a small swimming pool, dreams as big and high as the moon, but occasionally completely disconnected with what’s going on around us because we’re trapped in some MMO videogame. Again.
We’ve already had quite a few episodes that dove into Yugi’s psyche, including one where we literally walked through his labyrinth brain full of traps and real legit problems as he said “nonono this is all really just fine.” But, this is an arc that’s all about Kaiba, who is about to be devoured by the same insane pipe dream ideas he worked so hard to create.
Mai and Joey suddenly realize who the other is and then just decide “youknow lets not duel” and I praised the sun because how pointless would that have been?
The Mokuba orange text is very close to the Joey yellow. Sorry if any of you are colorblind, I never realized that Mokuba would have so many speaking lines when I started this. Maybe I’ll make him a light blue at some point?
I know I titled it as Mokuba has no survival instincts but honestly it’s every single person on this show.
I only say I’m too afraid to check the skyrim mod forums because most those mods are a little too kinky for me.
Like...
Why didn’t Bakura use THAT card back on the island? Holy cow. It’s a good thing Joey isn’t cursed with the ring because everyone would be very super dead.
So they trot along across the desert and not much happens. I guess a sand worm or something? It’s just a desert.
And like do I even need to make the obvious joke or is it already--
No, not yet.
Anyways, what’s at the other end of the desert, hm?
We are SO CLOSE to finishing this season how is there ANOTHER MAZE!? There’s only like 6 episodes left we could have been maze free I just...whoever was in charge of maze design for this show worked overtime.
God bless, storyboarder. This is a frame I caught completely by accident--most people would not be able to notice that Joey just takes two hands--one on Yugi’s head, the other on his chest and just pushes him completely over like he’s one of those roly-poly toys.
The hell Mai? She is the age to date Joey’s Dad.
This labyrinth is different than Yugi’s, in that it is crowded by a bunch of huge inconvenient tanks that all want to kill them for some reason. I have no idea how any of these tanks ever turn a corner.
Mazes seem to be the most boodthirsty thing in this universe--can’t pass through a maze without every law of physics/tanks wanting to murder the hell out of you
Imagine the David Attenborough documentary on this family of wild tanks.
And then this weird thing happened--as if we weren’t already seeing the weirdest collection of things that Kaiba chose to focus on in this magical world where he could have made anything else happen.
It’s Marie Antoinette Mokuba. She’s just here. To exist.
Speaking of bad ideas, Kaiba is getting crucified.
Every anime ever made just acting out the Passion for kicks and giggles, it ain’t even Easter yet.
So quick side story about bad ideas and stuff, because sometimes we spend YEARS of our lives trying to make something that is not very good work and it just doesn’t--it just doesn’t happen. I work in freelance so I see that a lot. I see it happen to other people, I’ve seen it happen PLENTY to myself.
I knew this guy, I’ve known him my whole life (and he’s way super old so he won’t read this blog) and for the entirety that I’ve been alive he’s been trying to make an operating system to compete with Windows. Now I’m from the Bay Area, so this isn’t SO weird. There’s this whole crazy world outside of Linux where everyone and their mule is making an OS that will change the Silicon Valley landscape and make them the next Bill Gates. It’s kind of like “here’s my neat app idea” but like 2 steps more ascended.
For about 40 years, this guy has *and still is* making this OS. 40 years. But his OS is now like 40 years behind the times because he never released it in any form because it wasn’t done yet, it wasn’t perfect, it wasn’t ready.
One of the most important things I’ve ever learned is that whatever you may be working on right now will not be your Magnum Opus. It just won’t. So finish whatever you’re on and move on to the next thing. When I was told this, I was working on my first comic and although I wasn’t really aware--it was hella not great. But, it was a story I grew up writing, so I was hella attached to it. So, it could never be perfect. It mattered so much to me to get it right, and I was so worried about what other people would think, that I worked on it for about 4 years before I ran into the OS guy and I realized “I need to just post this and move on or this will be my endless OS”
Like, this is all a silly story of climbing through Kaiba’s bad fiction, but sometimes our simple ideas can turn into parasites, and we become so obsessed with them, that our good efforts are robbed of ever getting a chance to finish something good. Like this is Kaiba’s one big huge sprawling terrible video game idea and all of his friends and his brother are here to basically give him an intervention. Also to save him from the guys who are still heading Kaiba corp for some reason.
Anyways, now these guys are in a generic carriage because they got to the Camelot section of Kaiba’s cyberworld because this boy could not focus on one single genre.
Whatever because inside this castle is DINNER
The vague orange oblong fruit is back! The gravity melons! We still aren’t sure what they are--because they could be mangoes but they’re orange like oranges. huh...
Anyways, it’s about time for this show to get dark.
So this is a game mechanic of playing the card game Yugioh--so like...it actually does make sense why it’s here but like. This is just medieval The Lottery, huh? Is Kaiba getting ritually sacrificed by his own video game? Ritually sacrificed WHILE getting crucified? For a DRAGON? It’s like right in front of him that his Dragon Obsession has maybe gone too far but I assume that once this is over he’ll be right back on ship dragon.
I just like to think that, for the past few years, Kaiba’s just been drawing birds and medieval stuff in class and being all “it’s going in my sweet ass video game, Joey, it’s not a princess, it’s Princess Atena, and she’s gonna get sacrificed to satisfy the Mythic Dragon” but none of his classmates ever remembered any of this lore because their brains kept getting wiped by some Season Zero Pharaoh nonsense.
This color scheme on the walls is just...that’s lime green and lilac all right.
Anyway, how generic 90′s fantasy anime can we make the armor here?
None of them use swords.
Scratch that--Pharaoh would know how to use a sword. For the rest of them the weapon seems kind of moot because they’re all card wizards?
So off they go, Joey in a minidress made for...breastfeeding? I guess? And the rest in matching armor suits. Seems like Kaiba’s game is programmed to recognize and harass Joey just as part of it’s core code.
OH.
So there was a lot of buildup to that happening and I blinked and missed it and had to rewind, it happened so quickly.
Man if they had just stayed indoors none of this would have happened.
So Mokuba is in a 7 layer ballgown for the rest of this show right? I feel like the hoop skirt would make it very difficult to get crucified in. So, at least he has that.
As they bring this ancient bird to life with the time card, we get to see what Tristan and Tea have been up to--mostly just pushing stuff.
So when Tea does ballet she’s on the bottom just tossing everyone else around, right? That girl is jacked.
So, that was a lot of random things in succession--Next week, on Yugioh:
Does Kaiba turn into a dragon, finally, like he’s always wanted? Will the next environment in this randomized video game land them right in the middle of a Fallout Post-Apocalypse? Or will it be in the middle of a Petz kitten-adoption center? Or, will it be the ultimate challenge for these kids--in a Japanese High School visual novel sim where they actually have to attend class?
#Yugioh#yugioh recaps#photo recaps#s1 ep 43#humor#they're still in this video game I guess#seto kaiba#mokuba#yugi muto#joey wheeler#tea gardner#tristan taylor#mai#this arc is hella random

There’s this thing in Skyrim that, if you have kids, you can bring home sweets and tarts and give them to your children. Anyway, Sam brings home sweets for Dean after he’s been away on a business trip :)

So I looked on your page and saw you've been developing this OC for five years now, that's really impressive! Could you maybe give me, and maybe some other users who haven't been following you that long, a tl;dr version of all Rowan's accomplishments? Like any major changes he's gone through since you've created him? I ask because I think it would be an interesting read.
//I’m flattered by your interest, ty so much!!
I will try to keep this as short as possible but oh my fuckin God I don’t know if I can do a very good job of that. WE’LL SEE I GUESS…. As for accomplishments IDK some of them will be and some won’t
Dies in battle at his mid-thirties and is turned by Cormag, long after his family gradually kicks the bucket one by one
“Kills” his asshole sire and winds up alone
Travels to Skyrim because his life in High Rock is p much over at that point– no friends no spouse no kids, no nothin, just a heap of enemies he can’t hope to best on his own
Lives as a hobo rogue vampire and just tries to have a good time (kills more people)
Joins Dark Brotherhood bc maybe they’ll help him structure his murder tendencies
Leaves DB before his humanity is squished completely
Runs across Serana
They build The Relationship
Harkon is murdered (TEAMWORK) and Rowan takes his place as Lord
The Dawnguard takes a huge hit by the Volkihar and goes down for what seems like… Forever TBH
After earning Serana’s trust over time, Skye (their ever-hungry blood-guzzling daughter) happens
Skye kicks the bucket before birth, drives a wedge between Mom and Pop who are already in mourning
Serana ditches Castle Volkihar because Ro is too enthusiastic about having things vampires can’t, and God will he just chill
Rowan is depressed af and becomes an asshole in his sire’s footsteps (not in the same way), shoves literally everyone but his horse and the smelly undead Volkihar dogs aside
Dawnguard comes back way stronger
Rowan decides to get help from the Companions (who’ve been exiled for the outing of their super secret werewolf business) in return for helping them with the Silver Hand, meeting Farkas in the process and luring him into his seduction, the bastard– a relationship which eventually turns to sex therapy for Rowan and emotional turmoil for Farkas (Rowan really was awful to him for a while there, love is scary)
Falls in love with him anyway whoops
MARRIAGE
Their enemies die mostly but not before taking some of the Volkihar and Companions with them
Rowan and Farkas adopt Runa after a looooong long talk
Rowan (with Farkas) receives Runa’s forgiveness after the big fat “SHIT MY DADS ARE MONSTERS” cat jumps out of the bag
The kid grows older and they all, as a family, decide to move to Castle Volkihar for a while (after Runa’s training in dealing with vampires)
PRESENT DAY
I hope that answers your question! May have missed a thing or two sorry but I think I jotted down the most important bits
#anonymous#shit it's long#i tried#out of castle volkihar#(thank you thank you thank you i love to talk about my scottish cocklord)#...#:nsfw#for that fucking tag i just had to add

why did i stay up until past 1am randomly putting rp-style profiles together for my followers.
long-ish post.
note: i used amazing follower tweaks in order to get myself some non-standard followers. some are mods as well.
current followers
farkas. ex-werewolf but he’s happy to call himself part of DB’s pack - she trusts him with protecting her wife and the kids after all. he’s the one in charge of the house when DB is away. he’s not the most confident in himself but he’s improving day by day and the faith and trust DB has in him inspires him to exceed her expectations.
from-deepest-fathoms. DB couldn’t leave a marsh-friend all alone on the docks at riften and invited her to stay. she doesn’t do much fighting and keeps to herself still but she has a knack for keeping the baby dragons who share their massive home in line and acts like an aunt to DB’s kids, especially her eldest son geel’jar. she suffers from night-terrors from time to time, though perhaps someone with experience in calming nightmares will become her friend soon enough... (if i can ever get around to telling vaermina to fuck off lol)
geel’jar. DB’s oldest son, adopted after he showed up in riften convinced they were biologically related. they aren’t but she was happy to call him hers anyway. currently taking lessons on how to fire his bow from inigo. he takes his status as eldest son of the Dovahkiin Very Seriously and often imitates farkas whenever a situation occurs. scared of skeevers.
inigo. he insists that he knows DB from a long time ago but she doesn’t really remember him - or what he claims he did. his guilty conscience keeps him from living at her home but she still keeps a bed spare, just in case. maybe they’ll get to the bottom of what really happened someday.
melka. a hagraven who DB assisted while adventuring in markath. she was driven from her tower by stormcloaks and decided to see if she could track down that lovely kind morsel who helped her. once everyone had calmed down following her sudden teleportation inside the main hall, she settled in a deep cave near the main house. she’s content to make her spells in peace so long as DB keeps her well stocked with odds and ends and eyeballs. oddly enough she’s managed to become good friends with ondolemar.
aranea. being abandoned by her god is something DB finds incredibly #relateable with her steadily fading connection to the hist, and if someone says they don’t know what to do with the rest of their life in the middle of a raging blizzard on top of a mountain she sure as all hell isn’t leaving them there.
serana. former immortal “pureblood” vampire princess, now a normal woman living in a house full of baby dragons and children whose hobbies include knife fights in the yard and a ragtag bunch of misfits. she wouldn’t trade it for the world. has become bffs with borgakh - they bonded over their mutual distaste for getting into relationships.
ondolemar. DB needed someone on the inside to stay one step ahead of the thalmor regardless of the result of the civil war, and she might as well save time by going to the top, right? he was surprisingly easy to secure although the answer to ‘do you want to be behind the dragon cavalry or facing it’ probably wasn’t hard for him to figure out. (going from ‘literal villain’ to ‘the tsunnest of tsunderes’ via the power of love is character development right???).
borgakh. DB stole her away in the middle of the night after hearing her woes, leaving enough gold to pay her dowry four times over behind in her bed. granted tho borgakh didn’t exactly turn DB away when she fell through the window and asked if she wanted to see the world. she’s v. happy with her new home being so centrally placed in skyrim bc she can get to almost anywhere in the entire province without much issue. she v. rarely spends the night at the main house and often bunks at DB’s various cottages and houses across the province instead, sometimes taking serana with her.
soon to be followers and followers in name only
gelebor. if DB got her way she’d have welcomed one of the last snow elves of tamriel into her home the moment she first saw him, but he has a duty to fulfill. he knows he has a family out there waiting for him in the wilds of whiterun should he decide he’s had enough, at least. maybe he’d visit on special occasions.
meeko. it v. quickly became apparent that while DB brought the sad old stray home, he was her wife’s dog and would prefer to chew pig snouts by the fire rather than fight trolls out in the mists again. he follows shahvee around all day and likes to drag his fur blankets around so he can sleep under DB’s desk. A Good Dog.
erandur. i literally just need to do this questline lol it’s been in my journal for W E E K S. hopefully he’ll be able to soothe fathoms during one of her episodes, or at least instruct the others on how to deal with them. is the priest at ondolemar and farkas’ wedding once i actually develop their relationship lol*
verulus. ‘oh my god you saved me from a cannibal cult, how the hell can i repay you for this I KNOW MY ETERNAL SERVITUDE’
alduin, the small and terrible. arkay decides to give the world eater a chance to learn the lessons of paarthurnax, and returns him to life that he might assist his former general in redeeming his kind, or at least treat the death of this world and the birth of the next with appropriate gravitas. he’s still just as angry and noisy as he was before he’s just really small and cute now. he settles down, eventually. yes.
paarthurnax. thanks to a mod that spares his life and tells the blades to fuck off (seriously fuck off blades) paarthurnax became DB’s follower instead. he remains at the throat of the world, telling all the dragons of tamriel to stop being dicks for one goddamn second and that maybe there’s other things they could be doing besides terrorizing humans.
*so ‘my home is your home’ did Something to their AI. even when they had plenty of beds to choose from, ondolemar and farkas always chose to share a bed. i didn’t even set them as being in the same room as each other. also ondolemar frequently plays a lute for his idle animation, and farkas is almost always the only person who sits and listens. so naturally i ship the hell out of it and ondolemar Renounces His Evil Ways By The Power Of Love and forges a special amulet of akatosh that opens up to form a hidden amulet of talos that he can wear.
yes he turns his back on his entire government and religious beliefs and potential godhood depending on who you talk to for the man he loves. what of it.
