The sun hung low in the sky, casting a soft, golden glow over the park and river as you and Jo sat comfortably on a blue plaid blanket together. “I know you said it’s just for me but could we maybe share it?” Jo asked shyly, glancing back down at the chocolate with his cute grin coming back to rest on his face. Moments like this where you two are alone and sharing your appreciation for one another have always been special to Jo but the fact that you handmade him something made it feel even more meaningful than before. 

You offer a small nod in response and watched how carefully he seemed to pull the chocolate bar from its small insulated box, a hesitant look crossing his face as he broke part of the bar off to offer up to your lips, his heart fluttering all over again when his finger brushed over your lip in the process of trying to feed the sweet treat to you. You watched his reaction carefully and hopefully as he took a small piece to pop into his own mouth, a relieved sigh suddenly leaving your mouth when you saw how his face immediately lit up at the taste that flooded over his taste buds. 

“Oh my gosh, it’s perfect.” His voice was as gentle as always, a hint of sincerity on the back end of his tone. “Just like you!” 

You offered a lighthearted laugh and noticed how Jo seemed to blush and become instantly embarrassed by his own choice of words. You leaned forward and pressed a gentle kiss to his cheek, Jo unable to stop the giddy sounding giggle from erupting out of his chest at the sensation of having your lips pressed against his cheek. The small gesture was something grand to Jo, an act that always made him feel more connected to you than ever. It was all he needed to be reminded that he was yours, you were his, and you were both just content to be there together at this moment. 

“Now it's your turn,” Jo reminded you of the gift box waiting just in front of you, another hint of shyness suddenly hugging the boy’s voice and expression as he took another small piece of the chocolate to bite into. “Admittedly, it’s not as cool as homemade chocolate.” 

“Nonsense,” You muttered as you brushed off his words and pulled the gift box open to reveal a diary style notebook hidden within. A curious look crossed your face as you pulled the notebook out, your mind racing with ideas for what could be woven between the pages. Initially, you thought he was giving you a special sketchbook he had been working on secretly behind your back and you felt excited to get a look at all of the new art your lover had produced, but you were pleasantly surprised to flip through the pages and see them packed full of small, detailed love letters he had been pouring his heart into since the year’s beginning. 

Though you chose not to go down the traditional route for celebrating Valentine's Day as a couple, you still found a way to make this day special enough neither of you would be forgetting it for many years to come! Good luck topping it next year and.. Just so you know, Jo will ask for your homemade chocolate again in a few short weeks because he’s feeling disappointed by the store bought garbage. DVMNINKTOBER Day 11 Ryo x Miki

Hi, longtime no see! XD I hope you all had a lovely winter holiday and have a happy new year too! I can only say that this took me as long as it did cause I was being a little too ambitious and it took me longer than I thought it would and well, I've been busy with a lot of things including getting sick at the beginning of the month! XD I'm doing a lot better thankfully but oh boy it had really sucked and slowed me down a lot!

For day eleven is fave pairing or duo and wellllllll, you all know that I have a lot of ships for Devilman so I decided to draw out five different pictures of each of my ships, Ryokira, Akira/Miki/Ryo, Satan/Zennon, Ryo/Miki and Akira/Miki and as I've said before I had gotten sick around the time I was working on the first of the pictures for this prompt and it really delayed things a lot and not to mention I was challenging myself a lot with these pieces, I want to really craft some good backgrounds like the old masters and while I don't think I've quite captured their ability to do those backgrounds I am pleased that I did go the extra mile for these pieces, I learned a lot making these especially since I was so limited in working in only black and white, so making sure the values were good was extremely important here!

Okay, so the first picture here is of Ryo and Miki sharing a passionate kiss together in a little rocky grotto, presumably hiding from the Slum King's men as they go on the run together so Miki isn't forced into becoming the Slum King's lover.

While Ryo and Miki's romantic relationship doesn't have a lot of screen time in the Violence Jack manga it is one of my fave parts of it, I find them very sweet and loving together despite all of the horrors they've suffered and continue to be the light both of them need. And its so heart breaking that they suffer a lot together at the hands of the Slum King and in the end they both lose their lives in standing up to their abuser, at least Miki did briefly outlive the Slum King but she spent her last moments weeping over Ryo's death. 😭😭😭

I think what I really like about this pairing is a couple of things, one, the second chance factor, Ryo having lost Akira because of his own actions finally gets to be loved romantically and understand Akira's love for Miki more, and two, the theme of everlasting love even during dark times, despite of all of the abuse the two suffered they never stop loving each other and keep each other going and that means a lot to me, especially these days.

And to be honest I like the idea of Ryo finally putting aside his jealously and resentment of Miki and just coming to love her, in a way I feel it shows how much he's changed since the end of Devilman. He tried to right his wrongs by bringing humanity back and even though he accidentally caused the Kanto Hellquake due his guilt and trauma over killing Akira and destroying humanity and he wanted to punish himself for it. Whether VJ Miki is real or not doesn't matter to me much, I think Ryo wanted to be loved and understand Akira more and likely unconsciously recreate Miki or what he had remembered of her, the important thing to me is that it showed the potential of what these two would be like as an couple.

And honestly I love the idea of Miki having an Angel bf XD and also me enjoying this ship a lot is what got me into shipping my OT3! :3

You parked your car in the driveway to your shared house. Joe picked out a nice little town house, it was your favorite color with accents of grey. You recalled your day so far, remembering what made you feel so shitty.

First off, your co-worker Amanda closed the door on you in the pouring rain, so you had to spend an extra couple minutes inputing the code while getting drenched. Second, you forgot your lunch at home. You had been starving all day, especially since your lunch bag had your breakfast too. You ended up driving by your favorite fast food place and got something quick to eat. And third, you missed one day last week because of personal reasons, and suddenly you had an entire stack of paperwork to do in one day. Which you managed to do by staying late.

All in all it was a pretty frustrating day. All you wanted to do was go home to your boyfriend. You wanted to talk to him and let him hold you. Finally you had your chance.

You got out of your car, grabbing your bag, closing the door, and locking it. Making your way up and opening the door, you expect to see Joe waiting on the couch for you like usual, but he’s nowhere to be found. This frustrated you slightly but you took a deep breathe and put your bag down, closing the door to the house.

You yelled out, “I’m hoomee!!”, and heard a faint *thump* like someone dropped something. “Everything okay??”, you asked concerned.

“E-Everything’s fine-!! Don’t worry!! Just- don’t come in the kitchen right now-“, your boyfriend said frantically. You didn’t listen and peeked into the room he was in, eyes widening at the mess. It looked like he was trying to make your favorite dessert, but he was struggling. You giggled and smiled, a light blush spreading across your cheeks. “Awwww..you didn’t have to do all this for me..”, you stated as he finished up, putting the dish in the oven.

“Well.. of course I don’t have to,, but I want to! You seem so stressed lately, and I know these are your favorite, so I tried to make them? Obviously it hasn’t turned out great..when they’re done don’t feel the need to eat them so I feel better!! I doubt they’re any good anyway..haha”, Joe was fidgeting with this hands and looking down at them, nervously. He really tried to make something special for you, and you saw that. It was sweet.

“I’ll eat every last one.”, you looked into his eyes, they were so full of love. He looked around nervously at the mess, and then at you again. Conflicted whether to less the mess sit or comfort you. He could see that you weren’t having the best day, at all.

“You get that side, I’ll get the counter.”, Joe smiled softly at you, appreciative of your generous offer. You two finished up pretty quickly together, cleaning down all surfaces. You sighed in relief when you finished.

“All done! Thank you so much, (Y/N). I’m sorry you had to help me with your own ‘surprise’..”, he said sheepishly. You grabbed his hand and placed one on his face, making him look at you. “It’s no problem at all, my love. Thank you for your sweet surprise.”, his face turned red and he giggled, playing with shirt in his unoccupied hand.

“Can we go to our room and just..cuddle?”, you asked, squeezing his hand lightly. He nodded and lead you to the bedroom you shared. He took your jacket off, helped you take your jewelry off, and even assisted you in getting pajamas on. You were bright red and smiling like a lovesick fool, which you were. Your pupils were practically hearts.

Joe dragged you onto your shared king sized bed, helping you get comfortable. “Did you know I’m madly in love with you?”, you asked rhetorically. His face turned red this time and lied down on the mattress, opening his arms for you. “You know, I think I had a clue..”, he giggled, it was the prettiest sound in the whole world. His laugh sounded like chimes in the wind. Beautiful.

You crawled into his arms as he fastened them around your waist and back. One of your own went to Joe’s waist, the other lightly resting on his jaw, caressing his face. “You’re absolutely perfect..did you know that? You’re actually perfection. You’re my match, my other half, my twin flame. You are my everything, Joe Young. Thank you. Thank you for never giving up on me.”, you blurted out, completely surrounded by soft, warm love. You felt completely safe in his arms.

Joe just smiled and held you closer, tightening his grip on you slightly. His face was maroon and his smile was big and bright. “Says you. You’ve taught me so much, been there for me throughout all of my own personal struggles, comforted me, and so so much more. It’s only fair I return the favor.”, he winked and giggled, kissing your cheeks. He looked at you with so much love and adoration that you wanted to start crying. In fact you were tearing up as he spoke.

You held each other and just talked about anything that came to your minds, you would occasionally kiss his jaw and his grip would tighten. This went on until the timer for the dessert went off. Let’s just hope they taste alright.

My Enneagram Type is 6 apparently (I took the test just now) and I’m an ENFJ if that helps. I don’t think I’ve ever gone out of my way to listen to a ‘gargantuan YouTube essay’ but I do enjoy hearing people ramble about their interests if that’s similar! My childhood imaginary friend was Lucy from Narnia, I used to imagine that we would go horseback riding and I would run away to Narnia with her and never come back. To fall asleep I usually stay up watching shows (current obsession is criminal minds) or doing things like that and then passing out, though if I can’t sleep I usually just count until my brain shuts off. I would love the name Adrianna. I just think it’s really pretty and it has a lot of nickname options! Which is one of the few things I dislike about my current name, there are like 2 things you can call me to shorten it and one of them reminds me too much of my dad for me to feel comfortable with people using it. I think my favorite audio is either the decorating for the solstice one with David (I’m feral for the way he explains it all and then goes out of his way to tell Angel that he doesn’t want them to feel left out and that they’re the most important part of his life!!) or the one where Vincent tells Lovely about the monarchal summit (oh the foreshadowing) and about his first time there (I think it’s called Cuddling with your Vampire bf but I could be wrong). The Redacted boys I don’t get the hype for but don’t necessarily hate are Ollie (sorry dude, I’m sure you’re sweet and all but it’s just not my cup of tea) and Vega (I do actually dislike him! Everyone talks about this one video of him in the imperium but I’m too scared to watch the whole imperium and no one has given me a clear answer on what video it is that he’s not a ass). I’ve read the Lunar Chronicles (highly recommend) so many times that I practically know them by heart. I have a soft spot for twisted Fairy Tales and LET ME TELL YOU THEY DO IT SO WELL! This may be an odd answer but I’d want Damien as my best friend. I feel like we have a lot in common and I love me a sarcastic but incredibly driven kinda guy, that’s how a lot of my friends are. I don’t have a go-to topic when I tired, but everyone can tell because I start giggling like crazy, as if everything is funny 🥲. My gas station drink is the Cumberland farms slushies, I would mix the blue and red to make purple. I’m a sucker for the Spotify daily mixes tbh, bc I don’t have premium and they offer me the most amount of control as far as changing the song, replaying it, and only listening to the ones that I want to, plus it’s curated which I very much enjoy. My guilty pleasure media is probably in part Redacted 😅 but also I enjoy SOME Yandere stories that I find on like fanfic websites. And I’m talking about like ‘log this person is so dedicated to you! How fun! 🤩’ I usually scroll past when it’s like an actually ab-sive situation or senario. I really enjoyed this thank you!! 😊

Hmmm, this is hard because I feel like ENFJs could really work so beautifully with a lot of people- at least, Redacted people. In the end, I decided to pair the Protagonist, the natural leader, with our favorite leader, David Shaw.

After all, ENFJs, Arieses, and Sixes can be summed up as confident, principled idealists, the kind of friend who takes charge and takes care of their own. You’d be a wonderfully extroverted contrast to David, the perfect mate of the pack Alpha. I also like David for you because Sixes tend to be motivated by a desire for stability and security in their lives, and… well, c’mon. He runs a security company. I need not say more.

In addition to the pun, there’s so many cute, little things that’d be charming about your life together. That’s the kind of heart-melting, ooey gooey lovey shit that I think suits David and his partner, because that man is a sap and not good at hiding it.

I’m a very beginner embroiderer like I’ve done some premade kits and stuff so I just gotta learn the stitches and follow the lines. It’s so fun and stressful at the same time I genuinely have a love hate relationship with it at times. But I love how I can get a project at the end and feel proud that I was able to make that. Leaning into the grandma hobbies is jsut a fun thing to do in general

Anyway I’d love to get more comfortable to the point where I can just freestyle patterns and add cute details to my clothes and totes. I’d love to randomly add some flowers or my initial to bf’s items before he leaves for a race without telling him. He finds it a few days later is so surprised and curious as to why I did it, all I can think of is “as a token of my support/so you miss me less” 😭😭😭 how do I think up these cheesy ass thoughts

omg!!! i love grandma hobbies like embroidery. it sounds so fun and rewarding. i crochet sometimes but i don’t really make anything because its more a way of keeping my hands busy while watching tv. but wowow yes i love those videos where people patch holes in jeans and shirts with little embroidered flowers and things. maybe i need to get an embroidery kit🥺 and ahhh i love ur ideas here so much!!! i don’t have tons to add if im so honest, but i’ll give it a go anyway:

i so agree that george would be the most enthusiastic about it. i feel like with him it would have to be kinda subtle. maybe a little heart on his mercedes polos. some bigger personal design on one of his many linen shirts. he’d wear it all the time and tell everyone you did it for him. and he’d want to hear all about your personal projects, he’d even frame the ones you were proud of.

also non specific to a single driver but imagine if u could embroider their fireproofs or their racing suits🥺😭 like idk if they would say like no any weight is extra weight but SURELY a little embroidery is fine. how sweet would it be for them to have a little piece of you with them while they’re racing y’know.
