I literally woke up in the middle of the night like God will dark rise is so fucking screwed. The line that’s like. “Everyone wanted to kill the Dark King.” What’s the part where he looks at Violet helplessly, haunted, almost pleading for mercy? But of course he reveals nothing of substance to anyone. Elizabeth is too young to understand but the reader knows what “Her relationship with that boy was…unnatural” can mean. Tying him to bedposts? Failing to strangle him? What else? Never not even once seeing beyond a mythological identity Will himself didn’t know he had? What did he think was the reason? That he was just intrinsically hateful? Of course he says nothing. Of course Violet can’t trust him- he’s given her nothing as painfully real as what she’s given him. So he gives her the sword hoping at least he can die at the hands of someone he loved, but even that doesn’t work out - she gives the sword to a Visander still furious at SARCEAN. The pattern continues; no one looks at Will, who vomits when he realizes what’s happened to James, Will who is much of a liar and killer and sneak as Elizabeth accuses but nonetheless wants to be different. Even when he doesn’t remember his own past. There’s no way out for him that doesn’t hurt. Hope this obsession passes soon given the one and a half years of waiting required for book 3

i know i haven’t been active on here but my bf has been discharged from the urology center after his vasectomy and he’s having a good recovery so far 🤍 it’s only day 1 and he’s super sore, he can’t stand up or sit down too fast, he’s been taking his time walking, but at least he���s happy asl that he finally got this procedure done LMFAOOO

Making sparda an overbearing, dominating figure with a soft spot for family and general neutrality on humans is good, but i think super happy funtime guy sparda who is incredibly enamored with his family and outwardly super duper nice (almost appearing and sometimes is naive or gullible) to humans but when alone or pushed in just the right way he morphs into that nearly cruel and dark figure he was considered long ago, is better. :)

That is a fantastic question. Probably this guy, who I'm currently in the process of redesigning:

I made him a decade ago, and he still doesn't have a name yet. He's called 'Elf Guy' in my head lol. He's a tired, bookish student at a magic academy, and is also a researcher and potion-maker, as well as a wizard. He's one of the protagonists of a story that mostly only exists in my head because I don't know what direction I want to go in with it (a visual novel/a game/a comic/a book/etc.). He didn't look like this before, and has gone through a couple of different redesigns over the years, but I think this one is more in line with his personality/profession/interests and such. The wings are actually part of his outfit, and aren't actual wings. He has a fairy friend who is an artificer (specialising in magical prosthetics), and they're both roommates and bicker a lot lol. Also he may or may not end up in a queer platonic relationship with some kind of celestial being.

I definitely need to talk about these guys more, because I have a bunch of lore about them and their world in my head or in random Word documents or sketchbooks.

The basics of his story arc are: he's an overworked and exhausted magical uni student. One thing leads to another, and he finds himself nursing a strange individual back to health in his house. Said individual turns out to be from the celestial plane and is basically a messenger of the gods. He tells him that something Not Good is going to happen if they don't stop it from happening (not sure what exactly, yet), and so this guy is basically forced to leave his house and his city and go out and experience the world with his newfound friend (amongst some other people) whilst they save it. Basically, he learns that there's more to life than work and stuff through the celestial, and the celestial learns that sometimes he needs to stop messing around and actually take things seriously through the elf guy. They kind of parallel each other but are also opposites in a way. No idea if any of this makes any sense lol. Also they become, like, really devoted to each other, because they've never had people in their lives who they've let in that close before.

Idk. This really is just a ramble at this point lol. But yeah. I love him. :)
