Do you guys ever think about the importance of Levi's hands and the symbolism they hold in the narrative?

I mean in the way that Levi's forced to survive in the Underground: killing adults prying on him and his mother's possessions, bare hands and all; being trained by Kenny, a knife placed in hands that shouldn't have needed to hold one in the first place.

In the way Erwin offers him a place within the Survey Corps and Levi turns his strength to something bigger than himself. That violence continues to be his reality, that Levi's willing to be the one to get his hands dirty, just to give Humanity a standing chance.

In the way that Erwin gives him the serum, leaving the ultimate decision in Levi's hands.

In the way that Levi's empathy is shown repeatedly through his hands - him patting Isabel's hair, him handing Eren a handkerchief, him petting his horse, him placing a final salute over Hange's dedicated heart.

In the way that Levi, after suffering so much pain and loss, still finds the will to fight, even with missing fingers - ultimately guiding Gabi's final shot.

And how, at the end of it all, Levi is seen handing out lollipops to children.
