Benny x Ethan Idol AU

  it was sometime in the afternoon I was in a hotel one of the 5 star ones that have a pool on the balcony. i was chilling out just kind of laying on the ground next to the pool listening to a podcast a old paranormal case some were in Mexico. my love for the paranormal never went away even after my song blew up back when I was 13. the day i left my grandma back in New York to travel with my agent was the day i left my true self. and now I'm some kind of teenage heart-throb. Benny the biggest music artist since Harry Styles. 

“Boss?” i looked over to see Erica holding a clip bored and some papers. “How many times must i say this. Call me Benny or Ben.” she looked flustered “Ah yes sorry si- Benny.” she looked like she was fumbling with her phone “what’s up? is it another Fan meet and greet?” she scrolled on her phone for a second before answering:

 “something like that.. See a old friend of mine from another side of state reached out to me about  a artist she knows. the artist goes by ‘Morgan’ and they are a realistic abstract artist. They are apparently a fan of your music and she was asking me if you had a plan for your next album cover.” i looked at Erica as if i was unsure of what to think. “well can i see this artists work???” She searched through her phone once again pulling up a painting of a boy with blond hair. the painting was huge and had a abstract feel as it was covered in bright colors almost splattered all over the canvas. “I- i love it i would love to meet this artist!” 

Erica beamed “oh thank god you said yes because if you didn't i would have to have brought up the fact that there was a lot of different paranormal experiences in the town they live in.” i looked at her with a spark in my eye. “WAIT DO THEY LIVE IN WHITE CHAPLE!?!?!” Erica smiled “yes they do” i felt the smile grow on my face. 

the town of White Chapple is a huge paranormal hot spot that only a few paranormal investigators dare to go. there are mentions of werewolves, undead animals, odd sicknesses, grave robbers, living dolls made of plastic, and the thing that the town is truly known for Vampires. i almost couldn't contain my excitement. “you will have to stay in the only hotel there unless your willing to stay with my friend and me.” i looked at Erica and gave her a smile “that's ok! do you have the artists number? “I can ask Sarah if she has there number.” 

a few hours after I talked to Erica about the artist i got a text attached to a number. with the message attached to said “this is Morgan's number they know who you are and apparently they promised Sarah they wouldn't completely freak out.” I smiled at the text and added the number to my contacts before heading to bed.                 

i rolled out of the huge bed. it was way to big for just me. it actually kind of made me feel alone. i stood up rubbing my eyes as i looked at my phone. a text from “Morgan” i looked at my phone.

Morgan: So is this the real thing or is Sarah trying troll me to make me cry again? 

Benny: No this is the real thing Haha.. how often dose she do that?  

i replied like a hour later and i kind of felt bad but i got  text back actually really fast as if They were just looking at there phone this whole time. Erica did say that they were a fan. 

Morgan: Way to often. 

Benny: Well yes it is really me! and i absolutely love your artwork its absolutely stunning. 

Morgan: gdjkskbgjdsg THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!!

I don't know why this reaction made me so happy it was just adorable... i found myself really wanting to get to know this person. maybe i just haven't found very many real people in my life or maybe there was just something pulling me toward this one person. 

days went by and we were talking non stop over text. they have a little sister that is a big inspiration to the different flowers present in there art work. other then my  music they listen to a lot of punk rock and some softer music. they were real and i felt like i had known them for ever. 

i let myself smile and walk onto stage for my last show in this city. I've done this show over 100 times at this point but this one seemed so incredibly long and when i finally got of the stage the first thing i wanted to do was call Morgan. this was our first time on a face time call infact this was my first time seeing there face. for a split second i thought of what they might look like. i didn't settle on anything as to not get my hopes up. and as soon as i walked into my hotel room i wiped out my phone and texted them. 

Benny: ok i can call right now i just got out of my show. 

Morgan: oh yeah ok give me a second!

i gave it a few mins and then i saw my phone ring. my heart skipped a beat as i saw the face time call show up on my phone screen i almost felt like a little kid who just got a new game for no reason at all. and when i answered the phone i was greeted with soft brown eyes and a extremely handsome smile.  “its you its really you!” his voice was soft and sounded almost loving. “Yeah I'm the real thing silly” 

he seemed stunned to be talking to me and Honestly there have been a lot of times that i forgot i was some kind of star myself. we talked all night and made a plan about when i come to stay. it was gonna be a bit of a vacation for me and he was gonna let me stay in his apartment with his sister so i wouldn't have to stay in the shit hotel. he told me his full name was Ethan Morgan and uses his last name as his artist name. he told me about his plans for his life and a big dream that he has always had. 

we shared interests in the paranormal and he happed to know his fair share of vampire facts. we are both huge dorks at heart and it was a instant connection that we had. and the days leading up to meeting him felt like years. 

when the day came that we jumped on the road Erica seemed so much happier then normal. “Thank you so much Ben! its been so long since I've seen her” Erica smiled all big at me in a dorky kind of way and i smiled back Ethan taking over my thoughts.  I wasn’t even thinking about how hungry I was or how long the drive will be. After about a hour on the road we stopped at a truck stop. i of cores could not leave the car for the god forsaken fam that had been place apon my head like a crown years ago. 

 i feel asleep in the car and woke up to Erica shaking me awake. we had just entered the town of white chapel. it was underwhelming as Ethan said it would be. But i tell you what it was cute unlike a lot of the big city's that i had been in before.

we went to meet Ethan and Sahara at the small coffee shop that i think just happened to be the only one in the town. We sat down and i was shaking i think Erica could tell because she taped my shoulder when the small boy walked in. this was no fan meet and great, he made me way to happy. 

i stood up and darted across the room to take the smaller boy into my arms. my heart pounding out of my chest when the small painter wrapped his arms around me. at that moment i felt somethin.. it was a feeling of being complete even if it was just for a second i could tell that it was warm and it felt safe... i felt safe with him in my arms.

i pulled away from the hug i truly never wanted it to end. his hand rested on my hips and my arms rested on his shoulders. Time truly did stop at that moment. I looked into his eyes and I saw my happiness. I saw the other half that I have been missing for my entire life.

And I think he saw the same thing. Because the soon soon as I pulled away from that hug I naturally started to lean in. It was not expected to me and I don’t think it was expected to him. But for a moment we shared a kiss one that truly completed me. And I don’t understand why.

Zak Tarot Card Reading 8/15/19

Disclaimer: I date all my readings that I write down as tarot is a guide and not written in stone so every person has their own free will to change events. Every tarot card reader interprets their cards slightly differently. While most decks have the same general meaning- liberties are taken in interpretation as far as verbiage etc. Please take this reading with a grain of salt.I do not follow common tarot spreads and instead pull cards until I feel it’s right (I come from a long line of sensitives-I’m a freak I know!). I will give general interpretation to keep the post as short as possible. If you would like to look further into a card- google can be your friend. ;)

I asked a very general question and got a relatively general reading: Why is Zak the way he is?

5 of cups- Usually a loss of a person or situation- “Crying over spilt milk”- still emotionally destroyed by said loss when there is no going back.

Queen of Wands- Usually represents an actual person- in this case I believe it to be Zak’s Grandma as she was a very important person in his life. The Queen is an inspiring, encouraging character. Wants to see you at your best but won’t put up with BS if you want to throw a pity party. Will be your biggest supporter if you thrive to succeed.

10 of Pentacles (reversed)- A financial disaster- instability especially in the sense of a career. 

3 of cups (reversed)- Backstabbing- growing apart from friends, people close to you may be starting rumors to sabotage you

10 of swords- Betrayal or Backstabbing- the finality of a situation. May try to play the victim in the situation for attention. This is generally not a good card no matter how you look at it. 

10 of cups- Harmony and happiness in family relationships. This card confused me because of how the reading has been going, but it can actually mean family and not love relationships. It can be family reunions or celebrations etc. (this could be something forthcoming)

Knight of cups- Generally a person who is in love with the idea of love but never able to stay constant. Moved by trends and interests. Believes they love but they don’t. In this sense I actually believe this to be Holly. If we look at her track record it makes sense. (especially since in my deck she is female)

5 of swords- Manipulation- others in the game aren’t playing fair (Holly manipulating Zak?)

Hanged Man-With the 5 of swords present- this card is representative of a traitor- someone who is screwing with him. (cough*cough)

Knight of swords- Looking for someone to blame for his irritation. Attitude of righteousness, jumps easily to conclusions, he shoots first, asks questions later and is therefore often guilty of overkill.

Knight of pentacles (reversed)- Stuck in a rut, stagnant, situation not progressing….

8 of pentacles (reversed)- going about things the wrong way, leading to frustration 

Temperance (reversed)- Imbalance- seeking gratification from risky behaviors (hmmmmm?), lack of harmony with those around you

Strength (reversed)- letting fear, anxiety or low self-esteem paralyze you (could be his apparent fear of flying limiting shooting locations OR something deeper?)

King of wands - Again this card represents an actual person to which I believe is Zak himself. This card is someone who is usually a fire sign (Zak is an Aries) egotistical and loves flattery and praise. Loves to put on a show when he knows it will be noticed (Giving $100 bills to homeless), but wants to be served and adored in private, he can make your life wonderful if he likes you or hell if he doesn’t. Can be self-centered, hot-tempered and controlling

2 of cups (reversed)- Lack of harmony in relationship- trouble in paradise

4 of wands- partnership- can mean celebration. CAN MEAN MARRIAGE (though not with the 2 cups reversed so prob not him personally… maybe Aaron and Lolita? lol)

6 of pentacles (reversed)- Someone with ulterior motives. They want what you can give them (a leg up). Their love or attention is conditional (strings attached) Can represent being conned. (This is NOT a good relationship card either)

10 of wands (reversed)- beating a dead horse- feeling burdened with a situation that has met its end or needs a break (also not a good relationship card)

Okay guys that's it. I pulled a decent amount of cards because I wanted as much tea as I could get. Most of this is not news to most of us. If you need further clarification feel free to do some research. Tarot is fascinating and honestly I love to see the cards be so relevant to people.

honestly Ritsu is the first episode i’m mixed over. most of the other changes i’ve accepted or just “aw i miss that scene! oh well!” but this one?

on side A: Ritsu in general was much better handled here and instead of shigure poking at Ritsu, he and Tohru tried to address and help ritsu’s actual anxious habits. the added scenes with Mitsuru are *chef’s kiss* as adorable as anything could be and they’re so CUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUTE. and even the ending convinces me that maybe Natsuki Takaya will be able to sprinkle MORE of them in the series here and there as cameo’s or smth!

on side B: its literally a scene and a half but....Tohru falling was overdramatic and too foreshadowy. one of the things i love about the manga version is that the latter half of the speech “maybe none of us are born with a reason...” and onwards was Tohru confiding in someone with the overt anxiety issues similar to the ones she’s been internalizing for some time during a quiet walk home. and its an actual dark moment of her being completely vulnerable with ritsu. 

and this is possible because she connects with Ritsu and honestly verbalizes how NOT okay she is STILL about her mom’s death. how badly it shook her world not just in a “someone close died”. it was someone who she’d said “maybe i was born to meet you!” someone who manga readers KNOW what extra hurt came with her death. its so natural and intimate because there’s no external forces pressing in on this conversation but their own feelings.

and on Ritsu’s side the line that caused this connection was simply “there is a reason you were put on this earth”. that’s all it takes for Ritsu to reach back and have this talk with Tohru. Ritsu is trying so darn hard this whole time for a STRANGER and that is so brave!

however THIS version has Tohru falling in the middle of this speech, greatly increasing the stakes of the episode on TOP of the darker tone already layered on Ritsu going up on the roof. even if we know she’ll be ok it still jolts the moment with some suspense /and then back to like zero stakes because she didn’t even get the least bit hurt but i digress/. the tone get whipped from comedic to serious for this moment. which also had some comedy from the derp faces so ....ritsu probably has done this before and they’re not worried  about it actually happening or its a bad example about how the sohma’s have trouble reaching out to anyone to help them....like really bad. since it doesn’t have any dramatic tones for them doing NOTHING being a problem on even the slightest level 

THIS IS NOT A GOOD LOOK FOR THE BOYS WHO LITERALLY DID JACK DURING ALL THIS including the foreshadowy fall that just ~grah~ no.

really expecting me to believe that they’re not halfway up the ladder or whatever instead of gawking

heck its not even a good look on Ritsu who didn’t even reach out with hands or something. no need to run to Tohru since apparently you need to retile the roof but nothing? 

just a shocked reaction and worried hands rising to ritsu’s face /this is acrobat ritsu erasure/

Tohru going up isn’t ooc or anything like that but the fall and the hand held out in particular were obviously a foreshadow to 2 events and it makes everyone look bad and makes the emphasis on Tohru and Ritsu’s connection “you have to decide for yourself”, the line before she fell and everything after is overshadowed by TOHRU YOU ALMOST FELL OFF THE FREAKING ROOF. the moment steals some of the impact of Tohru revealing that her person WAS her mom. leaving Ritsu to be dumbstruck during the whole speech instead of calmly taking it in and coming to a similar conclusion as Tohru.

so basically this episode sacrificed Tohru’s internal struggle resonating and inspiring Ritsu for a triumphant rescue that feels less genuine (imo). the desperation of Tohru’s speech, particularly the latter half, is at first egged on by Ritsu’s dramatic actions and then later despite her dramatic fall vs. the connection she felt with Ritsu’s feelings in the manga causing her to share freely. 

it also undermines Ritsu’s own initiative of reaching out to Tohru multiple times (visiting, reacting to her first speech, asking about Okami, and later the resolution sparked by their conversation). It went from Ritsu making an effort to have an important genuine conversation with Tohru to being so passive for most of the speech. 

the situations  100-to-0 stakes take away from what Tohru’s trying to say and WHICH line first reached Ritsu. i would have preferred the latter half of the speech to take place AFTER ritsu had taken Tohru’s hand or when they were safe on the ground while mitsuru slept near them.

so i guess the law of equivalent exchange asked us to trade Tohru and Ritsu’s connection for more cute Mitsuritsu and boys as useful as lamposts. that’s a bittersweet price already paid

Pokémon Ranger!BNHA AU (1/?)

Midoriya Izuku / Riolu

They met very recently, before the start of Ranger School – Midoriya is still learning how to interact with Riolu without his Partner Pokemon accidentally hurting him

Riolu chose Midoriya because he jumped in to try to save Riolu from a rampaging Pokemon and was able to buy enough time for All Might to show up

Midoriya adores Riolu; unlike everyone else, he’s never had a Partner Pokemon – Riolu is very slowly getting used to craving the affection

Whenever Midoriya cries (read: daily), Riolu alternates between trying to comfort him and trying to attack anyone that is getting close

Riolu thinks that Midoriya’s ridiculous green poofball hair is the best place to lay on when napping so when Midoriya is taking notes or homework, Riolu will curl up into a ball and balance on his head

Uraraka Ochako / Clefairy

Uraraka found baby Cleffa near her parents’ construction sites when she was young – Cleffa had gotten lost and didn’t know how to get back to the near mountain

With permission from her parents, Uraraka hiked all the way up the mountain to try to return Cleffa back to her family only to find that Cleffa wanted to stay with her

Cleffa evolved into Clefairy to one night, sitting next to Uraraka under the moon as she told Cleffa about how she wants to become a Pokemon Ranger for her parents’ comfort

After getting their asses handed to them by Bakugou and Quilava in a Capture Competition, Uraraka and Clefairy have been trying to learn more Fighting moves

Iida Tenya / Ninjask

Iida comes from a family of Rangers that utilize Speed Pokemon as Partners – a Nincada egg was given to him by his brother Tensei

Iida 100% cried when Nincada hatched and tried walking on him – Ninjask has long since learned to relocate to Iida’s back when he starts gesturing

When Nincada evolved, both a Ninjask and a Shedinja appeared; Shedinja liked following Tensei around because he’s much more chill – after Ranger Killer Stain, Shedinja can’t be found

When Ninjask is angry with Iida, which is rare, Ninjask will be a petty shit and either buzz directly in Iida’s face or continuously steal his glasses or Stylus and fly off with them

Bakugou Katsuki / Quilava

Bakugou found Cyndaquil about to take on two Geodudes; to his amazement, Cyndaquil won, but fainted quickly after – Bakugou relentlessly treated Cyndaquil himself for two weeks straight

Bakugou used to carry Cyndaquil in his arms, but when Cyndaquil evolved, Bakugou had to stop because Quilava was too hot; that doesn’t stop Bakugou from trying every once in a while though

Together, Bakugou and Cyndaquil are an extremely strong Ranger team; they just don’t give a shit about all of the rules and regulations

Quilava has leftover guilt from the way that Midoriya was treated, but knows that Bakugou isn’t ready to confront the past and is waiting for the right time to push

Todoroki Shouto / Glaceon & Flareon

Most Rangers are allowed only one Partner Pokemon at a time, but at his father’s (Top Ranger Endeavor) insistence, Todoroki got two Eevees – everyone thinks Todoroki is a special snowflake

F!Eevee should’ve evolved first, since Endeavor had given Todoroki a Fire Stone, but Todoroki neglected F!Eevee out of spite for his father and spent all of his time finding a nearby Ice Rock so that G!Eevee could evolve

After Midoriya and Riolu had beat Todoroki and Glaceon at a Capture competition, Midoriya called Todoroki the fuck out on half-assing his Partnership with F!Eevee

Reluctantly inspired, Todoroki evolved F!Eevee right then and there into Flareon and beat Midoriya and Riolu in a rematch

Glaceon and Flareon have almost switched personalities from their appearances; Glaceon is competitive and loud, confident from being given attention and Flareon is reserved and quiet, meek from being neglected for so long; Todoroki is valiantly trying to right his wrongs

Asui Tsuyu / Frogadier

Asui doesn’t actually remember a time where Frogadier wasn’t at her side; apparently an egg mysteriously showed up when her mother announced her pregnancy and it hatched right alongside Asui’s birth

The Asui family runs the region’s Daycare, so Asui and Frogadier know pretty much everyone and are constantly asked why they want to become Rangers – Asui wants to have something for herself because she has so much to take care of

Just as Asui takes care of her younger siblings, Frogadier assists with the Pokemon dropped off at the Daycare; they were very eager to start Ranger School to be around friends for a change

Frogadier is actually pretty close to evolving into Gredinja since they’ve been together for so long but both Asui and Frogadier are choosing to hold off for the time being

Kirishima Eijirou / Lycanroc

Kirishima’s parents gave him Rockruff when he was younger; Kirishima is so used to playing rough with his Partner Pokemon that his pain toleration is through the roof

Rockruff gave him the scar he has on his left eye and constantly tried to “heal” it by licking it but Rockruff’s tongue is literal sandpaper, sorry pupper it is NOT helping

Everyone was expecting Rockruff to evolve into Midday Form so Kirishima dyed his hair red to match Midnight Form so Lycanroc didn’t feel out-of-place

Make no mistake, Lycanroc would willingly die for Kirishima, and has tried before when there was serious danger, the only thing that Kirishima calls “unmanly” if only because he always cries for days when Lycanroc tries

Kaminari Denki / Pikachu

Kaminari and Pichu met because Pichu tried to steal a young Kaminari’s lunch and Kaminari, the dumbass, chased Pichu for a while day, eventually letting Pichu have the food after seeing how exhausted Pichu was

Kaminari wanted to become a Pokemon Ranger because he likes the excitement but is concerned because Pichu would absolutely not take no for an answer on being his Partner Pokemon but also doesn’t know how to not shortcircuit in a Capture

Pichu actually evolved during the Ranger Entrance Exam because Kaminari was freaking out and needed help; Pikachu likes whacking Kaminari with its tail

Pikachu still on occasion shortcircuits when pushed to the limits, but Kaminari always takes the best care of his confused Partner

Yaoyorozu Momo / Ditto

When Yaoyorozu first befriended Ditto, Ditto was masquerading as an Eevee – Ditto kept up the appearance, scared that Yaoyorozu wouldn’t want to be friends if she knew the truth, but when Ditto collapsed from overexertion, Yaoyorozu nursed Ditto and said she knew but she was waiting for Ditto to become comfortable with her

Everyone told her that she could never become a Pokemon Ranger with a Ditto as a Partner; she saw that and raised them getting into Ranger School on recommendation

Yaoyorozu and Ditto are one of the most powerful Pokemon Ranger teams in the school because of how versatile Ditto is at assisting in Captures, and Yaoyorozu stops at nothing to make sure Ditto knows how proud she is

Ditto’s favorite place to be on Yaoyorozu is her legs so that if anyone is trying to cause shit like flipping her skirt, Ditto can put a stop to that right fucking quick

Tokoyami Fumikage / Murkrow

Tokoyami doesn’t know why Murkrow started following him around when he was younger; one day, he suddenly had a shadow following him

It took years for Murkrow to get used to the nickname Dark Shadow, but for the kid that had put that Murkrow egg back into the nest years ago, there’s little Murkrow wouldn’t do, even becoming a Partner Pokemon to an up-and-coming Ranger

Murkrow laughed for days when Tokoyami started to wear that choker of his; Murkrow stopped laughing when Tokoyami got a matching one for Partner Pokemon that was designed to assist in Captures

Murkrow absolutely hates light, so more often than not Tokoyami isn’t wearing his Ranger School jacket because he’s using it to create shade for Murkrow; Murkrow in turn keeps Tokoyami’s neck warm during the winters

I’ve always loved Pokemon so I know that I’m really into a series when I start making a Pokemon AU. Message me if you have any other headcanons! Pictures are free to use if anyone wants them.

We’re in Hot Water Now (incomplete)

Summary: Victor’s body changes into a female one whenever he’s hit with cold water, no big deal. He changes back when hit with hot water, so it’s not that big of a problem. It does get a little difficult, explaining to his close friends sometimes. 

He has no idea how to tell Yuuri about this unfortunate trait of his. “What should I do, kobuta-chan?” he cries, cradling the piglet of Akatsuki Yu-topia to his chest. It makes vaguely wheezing sounds in response. 

(The piglet is actually Yuuri, who had gotten a load of freezing cold melted snow on him earlier, but Victor doesn’t know that.)

Rating: G. Has a fair bit of genderbending, like Ranma 1/2 does.

For victuuriweek day five: crossover. I went for Ranma 1/2 fusion with Yoi. (This is just a snippet, as a I ran out of inspiration and was unable to finish it, so here you go).

It’s somewhat an open secret to all of Victor’s rinkmates. Less so to the ISU and Russian Skating Federation officials, but thankfully the issue is one that is easily remedied by everyone carrying a thermos of hot water at all times.

“Are you able to do all of your quads when you’re like that?” Mila asks one day as Victor tries to dry his hair after she dumped some hot water on him.

Victor pauses his drying and thinks for a bit. “I’ve never tried,” he says. “I haven’t skated much as a woman. It’s not like I’m going to be entering women’s singles anytime soon.”

A glint enters Mila’s eye. “Aren’t you curious?” she leans forward, unable to contain her excitement. “Vitya, You know what it’s like to land successful quads. All the quads-”

“I haven’t done a quad loop,” Victor corrects blithely.

“-well, almost all the quads. But that’s not the point!” Mila jabs her finger at him. “Vitya, if you know what it’s like to successfully do a quad in a man’s body, then you should be able to figure it out in a woman’s body!”

He stares at her. “You’re asking me because if I can land quads in a female body, then I can teach you how to land them, right?”

Mila claps her hands together and bows a little. “Please, Vitya! Help me bring quads into women’s singles! Imagine it! Miki Ando is the only woman to land a ratified quad in competition, and her name looks so lonely being the only one on the wikipedia page!”

Victor bites his lip. It’s... a tempting thought. “It may take awhile for me to figure out how skating is different between bodies,” he says.

“Does that mean you’ll do it?”

He tosses his towel over his shoulder and heads for the sink, turning the cold tap on and sticking a cup underneath. He dumps it on himself unceremoniously, not caring that he was getting his hair wet for a second time in the past fifteen minutes. “Well, it is off-season. Just make sure Yakov doesn’t find out!” he says cheerily, voice an octave higher, shirt clinging to the boobs he now has.

Victor looks down. “... Right. That would be much appreciated.”

The open secret is this: ever since an unfortunate trip to China when he was twenty, Victor Nikiforov turns into a woman whenever splashed with cold water, and back into a man when hit with hot water. Apparently cursed hot springs were involved. Victor is tight-lipped about the experience, and Yakov very solidly claims to remember nothing about it due to trauma.

Victor has lived with his condition for many years and honestly, turning into a woman with a hit of cold water has never really bothered him. His appearance doesn’t change too much whenever it happens - face becomes more heart-shaped, less sharp. Boobs aren’t that much of an added hassle, as he’s apparently a B-cup. Not having a dick is a bit surreal if he ever has to use the restroom as a woman, but that’s what emergency thermoses with hot water are for. His clothes get a bit looser at the shoulders, tighter at the hips, but it’s not that much of a bother.

Honestly, it could be worse. At least he’s still human. Victor could have fallen into, saw, the Cursed Spring of the Drowned Chicken instead of the Cursed Spring of the Drowned Woman.

(Yakov was lucky. He fell into the Spring of Drowned Man instead of its neighbor Spring of Drowned Bear. That would have been much harder to explain to people than “Yeah Russia’s Living Legend turns into a woman occasionally”.)  

Someone like you should be dunked in the Spring of Drowned Cat, Yuuri thinks as Yuri Plisetsky stomps away after yelling at him to retire. It seems fitting; from what his uncle thrice removed said last time the family had gone over to China to visit, people usually fell into springs that they were amicable with. His words, not Yuuri’s. The Russian Punk definitely fits the Cat Spring.

He wipes the last of his tears away and splashes his face with a little water. Briefly, an intrusive thought pokes into his head. Maybe you should turn into a piglet, it says, that way you can avoid all the press and hide in Celestino’s jacket. It’s tempting - the cold water tap is right there, and no one’s around. But Yuuri squares his shoulders and walks out of the restroom still a man.

If people ended up in springs that they were “amicable with” Yuuri wonders sourly, what does it mean if he fell in the Spring of Drowned Piglet?

Granted, there’s worse ones. Yuuri shudders to think about what if he had fallen into the Tiger Spring, or any that would turn people into a carnivorous animal. At least being a piglet meant that he could fit into the apartment, and Celestino and Phichit hadn’t majorly freaked when they had found out.

Notes: Ranma 1/2 fusion! For those that are unfamiliar with the premise, this is the wikipedia page for it. Victor visited China and the Cursed Springs years back with Yakov, and fell into the Spring of Drowned Woman like Ranma. He is somewhat genderfluid though, but never really lived in his female body form regularly. Chris and very few other close friends other than his rinkmates know about Victor’s transformation. Yuuri’s family is distantly related to the guy that runs the Cursed Springs, and one year while visiting Yuuri fell into the Spring of Drowned Piglet, like Ryoga.

Not much changes from canon, but at some point Yurio does get thrown in the spring of drowned cat for heckies. Victor gets more used to his female form while in Hasetsu with Yuuri, as he doesn’t really have to worry about being a guy 100% of the time for the sake of skating. Victor also gets terribly fond of carrying around piglet Yuuri because he’s adorable.

Yuuri is terribly flustered by Victor no matter his body lol. They fall in love the same way, just with a few different ups and downs - like Yuuri using his piglet form to hide from Victor, or Victor having to decide between a wedding dress or a wedding tuxedo for himself lmao. 

The piglet that runs around the inn is the Katsuki family’s pet pig, according to customers. It runs away from Victor a lot though but he manages to corner it occasionally and ends up hugging it and crying about what he should do to get Yuuri to Notice Him. Piglet: *dying noises*.

One day Mari hears screaming from the onsen because Victor decided to drag kobuta-chan into the onsen with him. It couldn’t get away and Victor ends up with Yuuri naked in his lap instead.

Yuuri: “Um. I didn’t know how to tell you?”

Victor: *DYING NOISES*
