You sighed, plopping yourself down on the balcony outside of your hotel room. You let your weary muscles slack and sink into the plush-lined chair, taking in the smell and atmosphere of the night breeze.

You’d had a hard day that day, dealing with not one— but two stand attacks in the span of less than twelve hours. You and the rest of the team were beat. Finally, after hours of fighting tooth and nail to stay on the journey to save your mother, the battle was over. The Crusaders had checked into a hotel and decided it would be best to room you with your brother and Kakyoin, because they figured that that arrangement would mean the least amount of chaos for you.

It was late that night. Everyone in the other room was asleep already, and you were all in your pajamas and ready for sleep by that point.

But instead, basking in the moonlight on the balcony, you replayed that day’s events, recounting in your mind how your brother, the stoic and tough Jotaro, had flipped out on you and raised his voice at you when you unintentionally alerted one of the stand users to where you were. A frown pulled at the corners of your lips.

Lost in thought, you didn’t hear the sliding glass door open, or Kakyoin’s footsteps as he approached where you were sitting.

“Hey, Y/N.” He began. Upon seeing you pensive and lost in thought, though, concern seeped into his mind. “It’s unusual for you to be all by yourself like this. Is everything alright?”

You snapped back into reality, looking up at your magenta-haired friend. “Yeah, Kakyoin, sorry. I’m just— a little bugged.”

“Oh,” He replied. Although he was more emotionally intelligent than the rest of the group, he didn’t have any friends growing up, so he was hesitant and unsure when it came to providing emotional support. But he figured there was no better time to figure that out than right now.

“Do you want to talk about it?” He questioned. “Or would you rather me go back inside and leave you to think?”

“No, no. I need to get this out, I think. Jotaro’s frustrating me. Don’t get me wrong, I love my brother and all, but I just feel like he’s….. emotionally constipated. Does that make sense?”

Kakyoin chuckled a little, seating himself in the chair across from you. “Yeah, I see what you mean. What bothers you about that?” He asked.

You sighed, crossing your legs and resting your elbow on the arm of the chair, laying your head in your hand. “I’m worried about him. When he’s frustrated, or scared, or sad, or anything, he either lashes out verbally or completely shuts his emotions down. He isolates himself, and I just wish he’d be more open. I feel like he doesn’t trust me or something, even though I know that’s not the case. I don’t understand why he won’t talk to me.” You lamented, rambling a bit.

There was a pause, and Kakyoin thought for a second.

Then, “I think he’s just nervous.”

You tilted your head, lifting it out of your hand and laying your arm down flat, you sat straight up. “Huh?”

Kakyoin continued. “He’s your older brother. He’s the ‘tough guy’ of the group— the ‘tough guy’ of your family. Especially with your father out on trips all the time. He probably doesn’t want to let that down, you know what I mean?”

You squinted your eyes a bit, pondering on his words. “Go on….”

“He has to be the ‘man of the house’ with your dad on tour. He probably just wants to seem like he has everything under control. Like nothing can phase him. To ‘protect’ you and your mom, in a sense. He wants you two to think he has weaknesses, because that’d make you two worry about him. But he doesn’t think you and your mom should worry, he feels like all the worrying should be on him. It’s a complex a lot of older siblings have.” He explained.

The two of you sat in silence for a minute, thinking to yourselves together.

“Wow. Now that you mention that, it makes a lot of sense. I never thought our dad’s frequent absences really affected him, but I never considered that.” You said.

Kakyoin looked at you, his gaze softening. “Jotaro cares a lot about you, and a lot about your mom. He’d do anything to keep you two safe— I’ve seen it myself. I’m sure you know this already, but he loves you and your mom more than anything. You’re his family. No ‘tough guy’ persona could hide that.”

You turned your head away, looking down at the street below, thinking again. “So what do I do?”

Kakyoin looked at you, a puzzled expression on his face. “What do you mean?”

“I mean, how do I get him to be more open? To feel comfortable talking, to know that it’s okay to feel those things?”

“You tell him.” He said, shrugging. “There’s not really any other way to let him know. You just have to find the right moment.”

You hummed in agreement. “I just wish I didn’t have to, you know? I wish he just, like, knew. That it’s okay to have feelings and emotions other than anger and nonchalance.”

Kakyoin laughed again, a gentle sound. “Yeah. He seems to have a lot of stuff bottled up. He told me about some of it earlier, after the second attack.” He lowered his voice, his eyes shifting, his tone changing to something more sympathetic. “Don’t tell him I told you this, but he was really worried about you earlier. He felt bad about yelling at you. He just wants to keep you safe. He feels like you and his mom are all he really has, and he panics when you’re in danger. He just doesn’t know how to express that aside from getting upset.”

Upon hearing that, you felt bad. You had been angry at Jotaro for being mad at you, but he really just wanted to show you he cared. You let out a groan. “Uugghh, Kakyoin, I feel so stupid now. It’s so obvious when you explain it like that.”

“I mean, it’s not obvious to you. I think I’m just picking up on it because I’m an outsider in the situation. You live with him, so you assume he’s just doing what he does and being a jerk. It makes sense that you wouldn’t see it.”

Suddenly, you froze in absolute terror. Your eyes went wide, and they slowly turned to Kakyoin.

Worried, the magenta-haired boy turned around, assuming something was behind him.

There stood Jotaro. Kakyoin had left the sliding glass door open, and Jotaro had heard everything. Everything.

He grumbled, stepping out onto the balcony, pulling his hat over his face. Kakyoin excused himself, walking past Jotaro and going back inside to allow you and your brother to have your fun sibling bonding moment together.

Jotaro didn’t sit, rather opting to walk over and stand next to the chair Kakyoin had occupied.

“I’m sorry about blowing up at you earlier.” He said, his voice gruff from exhaustion. He sucked in a big breath, and then exhaled. He stood for a second, as if getting the words out was physically taxing on him.

“It freaks me out when you get hurt. It’s—“ he sighed again, not used to talking about his feelings. Not knowing what to say.

“It’s scary.” He finally admitted. “We’re on this journey so we don’t lose mom.”

A pause.

“The possibility that I could lose you in the process is scary.”

That thought hadn’t occurred to you yet. I mean, how could you have? You didn’t have to worry about losing Jotaro, since he was so independent and powerful and all. You didn’t think about how he could have to worry about losing the both of you on this journey.

“Kakyoin was right.” He continued. “And you were right. To be upset at me for yelling. I’m sorry.”

You were still looking at him, surprised at what he was saying.

Too tired to say anything smart, you simply stood up and walked over to him. You opened your arms and wrapped them around him.

“It’s okay, Jotaro. Thanks for the apology.” Letting go of him, you scratched the side of your head nervously, looking away a little bit. “You know you can talk to me, right? I’m your sister. I’m here for you just as much as you’re here for me, y’know. You don’t have to hide how you feel just so you look strong.”

He contemplated for a second. “Yeah. I’ll work on that. Thanks, Y/N.”

Though it wasn’t much, this was a big step for him, and you knew that. He didn’t have much to say, but he’d find the words when he needed them. And he’d find you when he needed to let them out.

“And I’ll work on not getting myself into trouble so often.” You said. “I’m sorry for worrying you so much, I know things have been tough for you because you’ve been worried about mom, but also me, too. I promise I’ll be more careful from now on.”

He cracked a small smile, letting out a low chuckle and putting his big hand on your head, ruffling your hair. “Yeah, you really need to get better at that. I have no idea how I’m related to someone so accident-prone. You probably got it from the old man.”

You groaned sarcastically. “I’m not nearly as bad as grandpa. He’s been in, like, 3 plane crashes already. There’s no way you’re telling me I’m as bad as him.”

I don’t know exactly how long the intention is for Bitter Gavv to stay in the story but after today’s episode, a part of me wants him to stick around long enough for him to AT LEAST be won over by Shouma and adopted into his growing circle of friends/surrogate family or even more, a brother.

Imagine Shouma adopting his bitter twin as his little brother and even giving him his own name instead of just calling Bitter Gavv.

I know the likelihood of that happening is slim. I know we are more likely to see Bitter Gavv just axed in the long run.

But knowing how much Gavv kind of likes to tug at the characters’ heartstrings, it would not surprise me one bit if the moment Bitter Gavv is finally accepted into Shouma’s newfound Hapibare Family in the Human World after finally taming him and bringing them to their side is the exact moment, he will die.

But beyond that, ya’ll see the vision that I’m seeing right?

Bitter Shouma is no different that a spoil delinquent child being raised by a “bad parent”.

He has no guidence.

All his “parent” makes him do is run around all day and be a literal menace to society all while feeding him nothing but junk food.

Yeah n*gga, you couldn’t teach your “son” to eat with a spoon and fork? To the Sugar Doctor’s credit, at least he FEEDS Bitter Gavv. But obviously him feeding him has less to do with caring about his actual well being.

But like I said, Bitter Gavv has no guidance. No manners. No social skills other than the initiative his “parent” gave him to do which was basically go out and eat everything, no matter how you get it, until you unlock new powers.

This is NOT a villain ya’ll.

This is a spoiled brat of a child that needs proper love and discipline.

If Shouma thought that his childhood growing up in the Granute World with his captive mother was bad; just look at Bitter Gavv!

At least, Shouma had his mom to look after him, show him some love and teach him not to be a menace to others. Bitter Shouma, on the other hand, is just an experiment to the Sugar Doctor. He probably doesn’t even care that much about him as a living thing and probably just sees him as another means to obtaining whatever goal he’s after. Bitter Shouma is just another pawn for the Sugar Doctor.

All this proves to me is the Sugar Doctor is a shitty father.

Ultimate organism, my ass! A man curiously researching as he pleases, my ass! Sir come get your kid!

But in all seriousness though.

What if… Bitter Shouma notices the way Shouma is loved by those around him and instead of wanting more food to get more powers, he starts to crave what Shouma has. Friends. Love. Companionship.

If Bitter Shouma sticks around for more episodes to have his own sort of arc then I’m not sure if I’m ready to watch a story about an evil experiment born to cause mayham who learns the importance of love and family.

Bruh, Bitter Shouma is basically Stitch from Lilo and Stitch.

the fact that every major moment in this show comes with fire is an amazing decision and it has such a beautiful metaphor and correlation with religion like

first it was a church fire inside of chaos, a flame of a human life inside of louis, a massacre, and pain pain pain oh so much pain, and then acceptance, and love, and worship "I saw him, saw his extraordinary aura and knew him to be no creature I’d ever known, I was reduced to nothing" and then some sense of security, a fucked up idea about happiness and a family, and eternity, and it was a rebirth of louis. here inside a chapel, surrounded by dozens of candle flames, of holy fire, under the christ, he found a real god, his god, like a 'devotee experiencing christ for the first time'

fire in storyville, denial of his own nature, torturing memory of the life and a family of a human that he once was, and reality that he now had to face, inability to control his emotions, and the consequences of unconscious impulsive actions, the birth of claudia, his daughter, his sister, his companion, his everything, his claudia.

a burning of antoinette and a homicide of lestat - louis is lost completely, day by day, he's tired and he can't keep up with the play pretend of a perfectly fucked family, with his claudia. with HIS lestat. and he's already torn between the present and the past and he wants to go back, he wants to be loved and be seen by lestat for the first time again, but he made his choice a forever ago, and he regrets it that instant. louis and claudia are reborn again, they leave new orleans

during a search for others like them in romania, it's an old vampire lady who threw herself in a fire and it's opened louis' and claudia's eyes on the reality of being a vampire without hope and guidence, and maybe for a second here, they thought about lestat, and felt a sense of compassion towards him

a fire in a mansion of some reach douches in paris - the first time after claudia's birth when she feels alive again, she found a coven that feels like family and she's riding a bike home and maybe just for a moment she remembered what lestat said about "an experience that feels like eating syrup while riding on the wind". and maybe it's weird but she felt herself being at two places at the same time - at home in new orleans, and at home in paris. "I love everybody and everything in this every moment, right every now!" claudia is alive oh so alive

and then it's an execution of claudia. a death by sunlight. and claudia is strong, incredibly strong, and she doesn't fall to her knees, but it hurts so much, and oh somebody please help me, i don't want to go, somebody please! she turns to lestat. she doesn't say anything, she can't, she doesn't need to. she looks at him "it burns so much i can't take it, it's under my skin, it's all over me, it hurts dad. dad. please. i need your h-". claudia is strong. so strong, she manages to kill lestat just by looking once in his eyes, while being burned alive by the sun

louis setting the théâtre des vampires on fire, not feeling a single emotion but a raging flame of anger after being resurrected. and louis is a dead man walking, two times more literal or ironical this time. and he's leaving paris because paris burns in all the colours of fire.

and then it's louis walking into the burning rays of sun in san francisco after meeting a young reporter, who made him plunge into an ocean of devouring memories of new orleans, of lestat, of his death, of his birth, of his claudia, and it was all so suffocating and it burned and burned and burned underneath his skin, and there he was again. dying. being born. becoming a new louis, an unprecedented louis, a polished to a shine mask of louis, that he would have to wear for the next 77 years.

-> his best trait is his charisma. after getting his brain skewered by orin, it's left a lot of his motor and mental functions skewed– his thoughts and memories are scattered, he has frequent temors, and he generally isn't at the strength he used to be pre-tadpole. this is my in-universe explanation for why he fumbles so many of his skill rolls. he HASN'T lost his charm, though. charisma king.

-> he is a warlock with a tentative connection to a devil patron. a devil patron he doesn't remember. it's a mess. his patron is another bhaalspawn– an "older sister" who is mostly removed from the rest of their family. more on her later.

-> he does NOT introduce himself as the dark urge at first. he tells the others he doesn't remember his name and they refer to him with different variations of "that one, our friend, darling, ect". after wyll joins up, it becomes a bit of a group competition to find "The Name" for him. gale, astarion, karlach, and shadowheart all get into it to varying degrees but lae'zel thinks it's stupid the longer it goes on. he IS eventually named by the early group (so not halsin, minthara, jaheria, or minsc) but i haven't settled on a name yet so </3

-> speaking of wyll, he idolizes wyll to a saint-like degree. he looks to wyll for guidence when he's struggling with his own morality, and is especially defensive of him in group conflicts. wyll is flattered! but,, also pretty put-off about it as well. he doesn't quite know how to balance the idealized version durge sees him as with who he Actually is. mizora and durge's patron are also enemies, which complicates things further

Autistic S/O cries when feeling overwhelmed

The past days I been so excited about diferent things that i almost cried a few times because of how excited I was hahaha

Writing for a condition called love is one of the things i been really excited for!! And is finally happening!!! Waaaahhhh

Saki Hananoi

Saki is someone who loves intensily and he has no need to hide it, everyone who watch him when interacting with you can tell how much he adores you, and, in all honestly something like a disability won't change his feeling in the slighest, for him is just who you are and is more to love about you (except for whenever you suffer from your autism, in those moments it hurts him that you have to go through that)

Saki is more than willing to just adapt to your needs and preferences, and he even does it with a smile in his face! is not a problem for him and he isn't bothered in the slighest and he always tell you that he does it because he loves you and wants to see you happy

Saki is so in love with you and is so observant that is just matter of time for Saki to learn how to read your body language and learn to identify whatever you are feeling, even if you are not good or too expressing (maybe you tend to do it more by stiming) he will know how are you feeling and is ready to offer you his help whenever you feel overwhelmed or stressed

Saki is way too worried about your comfort and well-being that the first time he notices that you are starting to feel overwhelmed he kinda panics, not that he doesn't know what he should do to help you (even if you don't talk much about it with him he already made a lot of research about it), is just that he doesn't want you to be in distress, and being overwhelmed means that you have being expoused to stressful stimulus for too long for your comfort, what probably lead him to feel guilt too

Depending in how overwhelmed you are and what you alow him to do to help he will focus on helping you imediatly, mainly dragging you away from anyone and anything to have some privacy and peace and just helping you focus on him, trying to help you take deep breaths, but the moment the tears start to just appear in the corner of your eyes is like if the world is cracking under him (specially the first time), he isn't bothered or find it pathetic but it breaks his heart seeing you cry, so it just make him panic a little more and try to help you in a more desperately way, he is trying really hard to stay calm but he can feel his own tears starting to form on his eyes

After that first time Saki will have some time where he is afraid of you feeling that overwhelmed again, so he will be stressing himself out by trying to make sure nothing around you will result on bothering you that much, it has to be you who talk to him to help him calm down (and if you do apologize for crying when feeling overwhelmed that will break his heart again because he thinks he has being the one making you feel guilt for it), with your reasurance and guidence to learn how he can actually help you in those moments (or just in general) is the only way he will finally calm down and feel at peace with himself again. Even with your help it will take him a while but at the end he will be able to offer you a proper help

There are chances that you can end up feeling overwhelmed by positive feelings, feeling so much happines or excitment that end up being overwhelmed in a not-so-bad way, and in that case if you end up crying too Saki will feel troubled and confused, in case like that he isn't sure of what he is supoused to do and seeing you in tears still makes his heart ache, even when seeing you also happy makes him feel more relief you'll need to reasure him that you are alright

Hotaru Hinase

Even when Hotaru has a lot of troubles understanding her own emotions and has problems when interacting with others she is really kind and want to try her best in the face of adversity, so when she knows that she loves you and actually wants to be in a relationship she will try her hardest to express it and be a good girlfriend

For Hotaru you having a disability such as the autism is not really a problem, that won't change her feeling for you, however it makes her a little bit anxious because she doesn't know how to act around you or how not upset you by accident, it will take her a while and will need some help from your part (and her friends too) to be able to fully understand your condition and how much help you need during the day (if you need it, thats it)

Hotaru is not the best to read others behavior or tell what others may think or feel, with some exception with the people she care for (not the best but she cares so much for her closest ones that she just pay a little more attention to them) and for wanting to be a good girlfriend will lead her to be able to tell whenever you are starting to feel bothered and even stress by whatever is passing around after some time in the relasionship, and in that moment she tries to help you calm down and just concentrate on her before you start to feel way too overwhelmed, if there is the chance she will lead you somewhere more quiet to let you have the time to be able to calm down, she has the desire to help you and wants to do what she can but she is quite nervous about doing anything, she thinks on take your hand but doesn't want to startled you, she wants to bring you some water or any comfort item you need but she doesn't want to leave you alone, she want to try and help you take some deep breaths and focus on her but she doesn't know if her voice will even help

She is so anxious and insecure the first time she sees you so overwhelmed that when you start to tear up Hotaru starts panicing, leaving aside her doubts in an instant and imediatly trying to help you, asking you whats wrong and if you need help, but there are high chances that she doesn't get an answer, so she up to just stay by your side and leave you cry all you need, trying her best to just shield you from the rest of the world so anyone else will bother you

Hotaru feels an inmense pain when seeing you like this, she doesn't like seeing the person she loves in so much distress and even scare her a little, she feels quite impotent and honestly she is just waiting for you to tell her what she can do for you

Hotaru really hopes it never happens again but she knows that there is still the posibility (as much as it hurt her), so she just opt to wait until you are more calm and relaxed to ask you what she can do to help you when you have a crisis, please she need to know all she can because she hates the feeling she gets when she sees you in so much distress but not being able to do anything, it will take her a while to get used to it but she will be ready to offer you proper help whenever you need it (she even feels quite confident on it even when it scares her the posibility of happening again)

If you even end up feeling overwhelmed because of an inmense happines or excitment to the point that you start crying in that case too Hotaru will feel troubled, she panics a little but since the context is diferent she waits a little before doing something, and when she realice that your tears are actually happy tears she will be incredibly relief, laughing a little and probably tearing up a little too

Sohei Yao

Yao is a really kind and cheerful person, as well as loving, once he finds someone to love he just wishes for that person to be happy and safe, and since those feeling are reciprocated then he feels like he must make sure you are safe and happy by his side

Yao have fallen in love with you for who you are, and for him it doesn't matter much if you have a disability or not, your condition won't chance what he feel for you or how he sees you in the slighlest, however he is really respectful and actively tries to learn more and more about your condition, wanting to be able to offer you proper help if you ever need it

Yao isn't the best to understand his own emotions or yours, honestly he has some troubles to be able to comprehend what are you feeling (specially by the stiming and indirect ways to express yourself) but, somehow, at the same time Yao is pretty good at telling if you are having a good time or a bad time, whenever you are feeling happy and just enjoying yourself (and probably just being influenced by your own happiness) or whenever you are feeling uncomfortable or upsed, imediatly trying to come up with an excuse to get away from whatever is bothering you and ready to comfort you

The first time Yao has to witness you so overwhelmed because something have become way too stressful for you Yao himself feels hurt and a little stress, the anxiety start to built inside of him, fearing that perhaps someone have done something to you. But, despite how is he feeling right now he knows that he should focus on you, so he imediatly tries to help you calm down and try to remember you that he is with you and nothing can hurt you, but the moment he sees the tears on the corner on your eyes he just panics a little, he doesn't want to see you cry so thats is when he decide to take you somewhere is just the two of you so you can cry all you need (even when it breaks his heart is better that you let go of all thats pain, still he feel quite flattered that you trust him enough to be able to show such vulnerable with him)

Yao is pretty good at comforting people, and even when he feels his chest tighten at the sight of your tears he does a good job offering you not only comforting words but also a good and reasuring company, letting you cry all you need until you can finally feel calm again (even when he feels the tears forming in his own eyes)

After managing to calm down Yao will apologize because he feels like he haven't done much to help you, and he feels quite frustrated with himself for it, but promise to be more to help in the future and even ask you to please teach him how to properly help you and what to do to make you feel safe and comfortable (and you can see Yao's determination for it wrote all over his face while asking, there is no doubt that he mean it)

Yao would prefer if it never happen again, but he knows that life isn't that simple and stressful situations won't stop, still he can't help but feel mad or even frustrated when he thinks on how it probably end up being even more difficult for you due your condition, and that lead him to try even more to help you have a comfortable life (not because of pity but because of love)

If the case is the contrary and you end up feeling overwhelmed by positive feelings to the point where you start crying it will take him a moment to fully process what its happening, his anxiety is there but he also can tell that it isn't exactly distress what are you feeling, so after realicing you are crying because you are happy he couldn't help but laugh at the situation before joining you in your happiness

1. When did your Narinder aquire the Red Crown? Was he born into the role or did the crown choose him for a particular reason?

Narinder slew the previous Red Crown bearer, Warracka, after they had become depowered and their followers seemingly slain by an unknown cause for an unknown reason. Prior to this, Warracka had been defeated before by the Old Faith, but due to the self-ressurecting abilities of the Red Crown bearer, claiming the Crown itself was difficult.

2. Why does the red crown find him worthy as a bearer?

With the Crowns, it's less "Worthiness" and more "Suitedness". Narinder was just a good fit for the God of Death.

3. What did his childhood look like? Did he live with the other crown bearers?

Narinder was an orphan, picked up around age 10 by Miss Mabel's Orphanage for Lost Children, alongside Leshy who they had adopted as their brother. In the orphanage they met Shamura, Kallamar and Heket and the five eventually became their own family, moving out together when Shamura was 20 (They helped at the orphanage once they turned 17) and Kallamar was 17. Caring for a 13, 10 and 9 year old was difficult, but they managed to scrape by with whatever odd end jobs the two eldest could hold up.

4. Does the Red Crown give him any unique powers such as the power of rot (a la TROD AU)?

During Godhood, all Crowns give their wearers enhanced regeneration, lack of need for food and sleep. The Red Crown specifically allows one to resurrect themselves, as long as the Crown is still in their possession when it is attempted. Post Godhood, all Narinder has is an extended lifespan, his body aging at half the normal rate. Something extending to all previous Crownbearers and their Disciples (Including Ratau)

5. How did he feel about Shamura pre-exile?

He is very greatful for Shamura and Kallamar taking care of him and Leshy after they left all the orphanage, and he consistantly went to Shamura for advice, seeing them as the wise old sibling (Even before they became a god). Shamura was a constant confidant, one he looks to for guidence and strength.
