I'll never love her.
A story where neteyam was in love with an awkward shy omatikaya girl but she lost her life against the sky people but that was over three years ago and neteyam was 20 now and soon to be Olo'eyktan and refused to choose a tsahik so his parents where forced to choose for him and today would be the day he would be forced to meet her.
Warning: PTSD, mentions of death, neteyam and oc fighting, slow burn, if there's anything I missed let me know please!
Neteyam practicly had to be forced out of bed to get ready to meet his new 'mate' but in his mind he doesn't think she will ever be his mate, his mate is dead she is nothing more to him than a way take his role he was born it take among his people.
And when he finally laid eyes on her she was beautiful of course being the prime example of navi beauty but she wasn't *her* so this beauty was nothing more than something he saw on the surface not felt in his soul (if that makes sense?)
Neteyam tried his best to pretend to be nice to hear but he could hardly be civil with her everytime he looked her in the eyes or she mentioned them being mated her death came back the images of it flowing through his mind like a melody stuck in his head
And by the time he had snapped back into reality she was looking up at him slightly with a really concerned look on her face and he felt tears flowing down his face and it was like there was no more air left in the world and he had to sit down and he sat down on the warm grass hyperventilating the tears still haven't left and he feels so ashamed and weak in this moment and all he wanted was *her* but she was gone. He could never see her again and that's when he felt the girls hand on his shoulder and he pushed it away maybe a little harder than he meant to he's just so agitated right now he can't control himself and the last. Thing he wants us for her to touch him and he franticly runs off leaving the girl standing there confused and concerned.
She contemplated running after him but didn't know if that would make things worse so she decided to just tell his parents and run over to Jake's tent and see him and neytiri talking they hear you come in and stopped looking at you a little confused one of there ears going up "s-sorry fo interrupting but n-neteyam is freaking out and he r-ran off into the forest" you seen a look on Jake's face as he looked at neytiri as if he knew this would happen and neytiri puts her head down not knowing what to do and Jake runs out of the tent.
Y/N is just standing there unsure what to do she's never felt like this before so small unimportant looked at like she was disgusting this was supposed to be the best day of her life but instead she wanted to cry and she couldn't take it anymore and started to feel tears in her eyes as her legs broke down and she started to sob neytiri saw this and felt horrible it was her fault she did this. And comes over and picked her up to her feet and hugged her tightly "I'm so sorry syulang this is my fault I should've listen to Jake he isn't ready if you want to find a new mate from a different tribe we will completely understand and so will eywa." She says looking you in the eyes forcing a little smile
But your parents wouldn't they would not understanding they weren't reasonable and understanding like Jake and neytiri they did not care about her feeling's and once there decided on something they would not change there mind you were stuck with him and that thought made her break down again running out of the tent in tears and that's when Neteyam saw her running out of the tent a mess completely broken this bad truly been one of the worst days of her life.
He couldn't help but feel horrible the pain she was feeling radiated off of her like the glow of the sun but he couldn't be nice to hear and build a relationship with her without feeling like he was betraying her. And he wasn't over her by any means he can't even go to the tree of souls cause seeing the memories of him and her were just to painful and if he even got close it would cause the worlds air to leave his lungs again and for a moment he would die only to be awoken by a banging ache in his head.
Was he cursed was he gonna feel this way forever..?

OC interaction
Thanks to @mysticstarlightduck here and @illarian-rambling here!
Rules: describe an OC and then how they would interact with the OC of the person who tagged you!
The descriptions added up and now it's long. Under the cut!
Mystic's OC 1:
Nimwen is an 18 year old girl who has spent most of her life (since she was 8) travelling through the uncharted forests of a region popularly called "the wilds", with her adoptive brother Scarlet and their little band of misfits. They live on the outskirts of society, since their kingdom has been so dilligently outcasting them, but they don't seem to mind it. All in all, Nimwen is an awkward, overly anxious, often paranoid but incredibly sweet girl, though she rarely lets strangers get too close to her. She embodies the energy of a skittish deer that will bolt at the nearest sign of danger, even if its a false alarm, though she has very good reasons to be that way - her father was wrongfully executed for treason, and the people of the kingdom didn't exactly give her much reason to trust them after what they did, so yeah. She's very in touch with nature and other people's feelings though she somehow seems very much oblivious to her own. She prefers to avoid confrontation, and will only fight if that's the absolute last resort in a life or death situation. She loves very deeply and makes strong bonds once you get to know her properly.
Mystic's OC 2:
Renn is a young man in his late teens (his exact age hasn't been specified yet, but he's suspected to be around 16-19) with a penchant for dark humor and a love for all that's mysterious and slightly macabre. He has a very strong vibe that is reminiscent of those early 2000s goth/emo kids, minus the angst - just the aesthetics and the sometimes deeply philosophical existential crisis - despite his fantasy medieval setting. He is a rule breaker and likes to question authorities at every chance he gets, and is also very savvy about the true inner workings of their seemingly perfect kingdom. It is implied that he has some kind of secret he is keeping hidden at all costs, and that implication would be true, but its not what most people would assume. While the townsfolk mostly label him as this unhinged/"crazy" reject who is always causing trouble and is up to no good, he is actually a really sweet kid that just had some truly fucked up stuff happen in his past. He is a loyal friend and values honesty and integrity above all else, even if it means he'll have to go down fighting for what he believes in. Despite all of this intensity, he just wants someone to truly understand him and have a pure friendship towards him. He is also implied to be gifted in some kind of magic, though it isn't specified which, and that he has knowlege of "forbidden arts".
Katie's OC:
Ivander Montane is a 30 year old corrupt detective from the trade city of Unity. He has blue blood and double-pointed ears, wears fancy suits, and walks with a cane. His estranged family runs the banks of Unity, however he left them years ago, and in doing so, broke a divine contract, which left him cursed to slowly and painfully be transmuted into mist over the course of many years. Personality-wise, he's kind of a privileged shithead. He's got the catty attitude and love of gossip of a middle school girl, and can insult your outfit just as acutely. He doesn't have a sincere bone in his body and is afraid of any form of intimacy. However, deep down, he really just wants a friend and to not be in pain anymore. Show him the slightest hint of compassion and he will crumble. His hobbies include being a hater, fashion, and marksmanship (he's a crack shot with a rune rifle). All in all, he's got the snark of a drag queen, the heart of a lonely noir detective, and a body that's been through a cheese grater.
My OC:
Maddie is an 11-year-old girl who is quiet, curious, and a bit of a risk-taker. She's generally well-liked but isn't sure why people like her. She fidgets and squirms and likes to remain active, especially with her hands. She's a STEM kid through and through, loving each letter in the acronym. Maddie takes things apart, such as pens, to see how they work and eventually joins her school's robotics club. She believes in direct fairness - will match your tone with her - and gets a little upset if she is misunderstood, which is often, since she thinks she's straightforward. Her honesty leads to her being nosy, as she believes everyone should be open. Maddie is an animal shapeshifter, and enjoys the physical sensation of morphing as well as pushing her limits a little too much. She's a gamer who prefers consuls with buttons and enjoys old sci-fi shows and modern cartoons. Despite not quite understanding emotions, she does try to be there for the people she cares about, and usually tries to defuse a serious situation with a little joke.
Maddie + Nimwen:
Maddie likes adventure and risk, so I think she would be interested in hearing Nimwen traveling through uncharted forest for a decade. Her sibling is much more comfortable staying in, well, her comfort zone, so the idea of two siblings doing this would be a little foreign to Maddie. Being overly anxious and sweet would remind Maddie of her sister, but Lexi is a lot more outgoing. She wouldn't really understand Nimwen being skittish, but maybe Maddie's more adventurous nature would rub off on her. She may be a little caught off-guard by Maddie's shapeshifting. Nimwen being in touch with nature combined with Maddie's animal morphing will be interesting. Maybe Ninwen's knowledge of animals can help Maddie understand them more, since she's more of a hands-on person and is functioning based on reading up on animals - something she can only tolerate knowing she'll shapeshift later. Nimwen could also give Maddie more emotional advice, though it would take a while for Maddie to understand why Nimwen wants to talk with her. Maddie is a little over-eager to fight, so Nimwen may have to hold her back, or Maddie may try to get Nimwen to fight with her. I think this would be a fun little sister-esque dynamic!
Renn + Maddie:
Maddie is best friends with an emo/goth leaning person, so I feel like Renn is familiar territory. Maddie also likes breaking rules for the thrill and questioning authority, so I think they'd be an unstoppable force. Maddie is nosy, though, so I think she'd be a little too curious about Renn's secrets and business. They're both honest, Maddie almost blunt, so I feel like they'd get along. She'd also be curious about his own magic, and would probably show off her powers. I think Maddie would be a little weirded out if Renn wants to be friends with her - and since they seem to understand each other, that may be possible, though not sure how he'd feel about her being a kid - but I think in the end they'd be an unstoppable duo.
Ivander + Maddie:
Now this is an unlikely pairing. Maddie's nosy nature would probably get on his nerves. She'd be curious about the cane, why he's always in pain, etc and may ask too many questions and not pick up on how he doesn't want to answer them. She would probably though recognize his shitheaddedness and would just match his attitude with her fairness policy. Maddie has an odd fashion choice - bright and colorful with mismatched patterns, but I don't think she'd be that hurt by any insults, just confused. And of course would get him back. Maddie is a nice and kind person but isn't good about empathizing, and if Ivander doesn't show her compassion, she won't show it either. They'd annoy each other, and honestly they may have fun doing it. At least Maddie will find it very exciting to poke at his patience.

For Spraytale's birthday, I figured I'd give a bit of lore. Enjoy.
The lights buzzed in the lab with bulbs that all needed to be replaced soon. Hand written notes covered the desks and corkboards. The handwriting was complete chicken scratch, it stretched the definition of legible. Flasks and vials of unknown liquids lined the work table. The quiet tick of the clock kept time as it's face read 2:15.
Gaster leaned forward in his chair contemplating what he was looking at, his hamds meeting at his chin like they normally did when he was lost in thought. He had already re-examined his findings numerous times, not being able to believe what he saw in front of him.
Alphys gently knocked on the door before entering with a fresh pot of coffee. "H-hey, it's k-kinda late, a-and I thought y-you could use some c-coffee" she stuttered. She knew Gaster always stayed up late working, but he usually stopped around midnight. Both of them drank entirely too much coffee, but it's good for keeping someone awake.
He rubbed his eye sockets, fighting off sleep. "Yes, thank you" he replied. Right as she filled his mug he downed the whole thing, the warmth and caffeine a balm to his weariness. He leaned back in his chair a moment before looking back to Alphys. "Have you heard of multiverse theory?"
Alphys looked at him slightly confused, "yes?", she wasn't really sure how to react to that question. It was part of her curriculum in college, but she never put alot of thought into it.
Gaster gave her an exhausted look. It's not often that Alphys saw a skeleton monster with eye bags. He held readings from his most recent machine, a photon reader. Even if it can't get any visual light, it can detect photons. Atleast, that's what Alphys understood about it.
"There are photon hotspots where there should be nothing."
Alphys had to look at the readings a second time after hearing that, and then a third. Just as he said, there was the evidence. In what should be a dark void of nothing, were areas absolutely filled with photons. They were like faraway cities in the darkness. And the individual locations varied slightly.
There was something moving in each of them.
"S-so what d-do we do ab-bout this?" Alphys asked. She started nervously shifting from foot to foot without realizing it. Thoughts of classroom discussion start filling her head. Theorizing as to possible consequences to this possibility were played around with. Reasons why it would exist, and whether or not contact would be a good idea.
"I don't know"
She stood there nervously for an awkward amount of time, her scaly feet were starting to get cold. "Well, w-what if we send a m-message?" she suggested. Even if it's not a good idea, she couldn't stand the silence for any longer.
".....it's possible." Gaster answered. "Although, it might make us a target." He pushed his glasses back up, he really needed to get them adjusted.
Alphys almost asked why, but stopped when she thought back to her class on a different subject. Some other students thought it was interesting to debate as to why aliens haven't contacted anyone yet. Theories varied from them not existing to something called the Dark Forest Theory.
Her professor was trying to get the class to settle down, so they agreed to explain it if everyone stayed quiet. Essentially, if there was something very dangerous in the universe, then others would be doing the smart thing by not sending out signals detailing where they were or that they exist at all.
Alphys looked down while thinking, "so d-do we ig-ignore this?"
Gaster poured himself another cup of coffee into his orange cat mug. He didn't know the name of the character, but it was a gift. "I don't know" he replied bluntly.
Alphys flinched at his answer, he was always the one with the solutions. To have him not know what to do unnerved her. She started to become even more unsure of herself.
Gaster must've noticed, he downed his coffee and continued. "These other universes might be friendly, they could even be in the same situation as us concerning the barrier."
"So w-what you're sa-saying is..." she started to ask.
"If that is the case, we could pool together our collection of human souls and break both barriers. One at a time" he answered. His mug was still warm from his last cup of coffee. He held it for a bit to warm his hands. He considered getting another cup, but held off.
"H-how do we de-decide wether to con-contact them or n-not?" Alphys asked. She considered pouring herself a cup. Just the smell was making her awake and alert though.
Gaster finally gave in and poured another cup. "I wish I knew"
__________________________________________
Some kind of morning talk show was playing on the TV as Gaster sat in his recliner. He put down his mug of coffee, this time in a baseball mug, on the end table so he could read the newspaper. The sound from the TV made for good background noise.
A large chunk of the Underground collapsed recently, and there was reports about it everywhere. Though resources were limited, efforts were made to help survivors. Some of their stories were in the paper.
There was a note about how one child teleported himself and his brother to safety.
Gaster nearly fell out of his chair when he read that. He had to read it again to make sure he was seeing it correctly. He sat slack jawed as he read the rest of the article. This child was so young, they were still in stripes. His brother he saved was even younger.
He put the paper down, considering his options. Was the irresponsibility of sending a child into danger worth it to potentially set everyone free?
Would he forgive himself if he did that to someone?
Would he forgive himself if he didn't try to break the barrier that had trapped them for thousands of years?
He looked again that the paper long and hard, weighing the ethics of each option. What if he trained the kid to do this when they got older? What if it was safer than they thought? Could he make something to assist in case of emergencies?
No matter what he did, he would likely regret it.
He sighed heavily, resigning himself to what he felt he had to do. He picked up his phone and texted Alphys.
"Locate and contact Sans Serif. Hire him for the lab."

I’m a little bored and want to listen to some rambles, so do you have any AUs or headcanons you’d like to talk about?
(I'm working off the assumption that you're talking about IBVS AUs)
Oh boy... where do I start. I have an overactive imagination, so I have an almost infinite amount of AUs in my head that I could talk about, but since no one would understand what I'm saying I'll just talk about the Beast AU.
I had, like, a half-developed longer version of the story, one that was meant to expand on the aftermath of Nevin and Drew's fight. Basically, during the battle between Nevin and everyone else who was plot relevant, it was not going to take place in a forest but instead the actual town itself. Nevin would be defeated by a building falling on top of him, and everyone would be like 'holy shit did we just kill Nevin!?'. Drew would then proceed to pick up on his brother's scent and follow it, which would lead to them discovering the lizard Nevin form I mentioned on one of the bazillion previous accounts I've had. Nevin would then play dead in an attempt to escape the awkward situation, which obviously completely fails. Then there would have been this whole scene where they're all happy he didn't get pancaked and then it would have just progressed the same way as the published version. The reason I didn't follow through with the idea was because a; It was too long, b; I don't feel like it really served its purpose and just took away from the tension of the previous scene. I also came up with it after I'd written the original, and was too lazy to replace it.
Hope this was what you were looking for, thanks for letting me ramble lol.

Written as a not yet established relationship but mutual pining. It got so lovey dovey my heart hurt while writing this. It's very rough around the edges due to not writing for so long, but I hope y'all like it!
108. “Shh… You need to be quiet.” W/ Ultra Magnus and a Cybertronian! SO
Walking out of my berth room I was immediately met with the distant voices of both Optimus and Magnus. Following the voices in curiosity, I entered the main room of the base standing behind both of them as they mentioned a mission, an energon mine and.. My name? Before I could greet them their attention's on me. Never being the subject of their gazes so intensely, I gave them a lopsided tilt of my dermas.
“What’s going on?”
...
The glowing light from the portal fades behind Magnus and I as our pedes stepped off of the concrete floor of the base and onto the stick littered forest floor set in front of us. The forest was dense, light from the Earth’s star struggling to shine through the canopy above. Many of the planet’s smaller life forms were skittering away disappearing deeper into the woods, most certainly running from our sudden appearance.
Magnus paid them no mind, instead signaling me to follow him in I assume to be the direction of the abandoned energon mine we were to scout out. I trail silently behind him, already preparing for the long trek ahead of us..
Other than the occasional hand signals and “yes sir” from myself the travel had been near silent, the only other sounds coming from the crunching of tree limbs and brier under our pedes and the occasional animals nearby. I could do nothing but let my processor wander, distracted from the mission at hand.
The gleams of light cast from the sun painted what parts of the forest floor it could touch with golden strokes. At times his plating would catch the light and reflect against the leaves and other flora he’d push past in reds and blues… This would be romantic if we'd actually said more than a couple phrases to each other. I could only hope for that to change and for him to acknowledge me with more than just small smiles and hidden softness from the rest of the team.
I silently thanked scouting missions like these, allowing me more time around 'Magnus than usually allotted for his position. It gave me the chance to enjoy his presence and what soft smiles he'd offer when we were alone, which has been the only sign of any feelings returned on his part. I’d only hoped it wasn’t out of politeness and rather returned feelings anyway, just the thought is what’s stopped me from confessing much earlier.. While it’s been pointed out plenty of times how different he acts around me and how much more gentle he is towards me... It’s hard to believe he’d return any feelings, or would want to pursue a bond when one of us could be offlined any klick while fighting this war. Although I’d take whatever time I had left to be with him… By the All Spark I’m in deep.
Next thing I know, my left pede hits a displaced root and I'm sent tumbling forward into a familiar blur of red and blue. Just barely catching myself with my servos on… Magnus’ back plating… I jolted backward, ripping my servos from his back like they'd touched rust, and shakily righted myself. He jumped in surprise, snapping his helm back in my direction with widened optics before his optic ridges down turned in his signature stern look. I withered under his stare with an awkward chuckle before he finally gave what I assume to be a sigh and an attempt at a softer look that was really just one of neutrality for him.
"Be more careful."
Turning away without waiting for an answer, he continues. I hesitantly follow albeit much farther behind so I don’t embarrass myself again. After an estimated half an hour of awkward silence, he pushes a tree limb out of his way and stops in his tracks.
"We're here."
Magnus was already crouched behind some thickened shrubbery, giant enough to hide his stature, and was looking towards an opening in the lower brier's branches he had held back. Peering over his shoulder was a cave's entrance a little ways away, hidden near perfectly from sight with the dense woods surrounding it. Peaking out of the tall grass thoroughly covering the vicinity of the entrance was mining equipment and empty carts overgrown with vines. They were most definitely left behind. Thankfully we had coordinates or we would have never found this. Not that I would've minded being around Magnus longer anyway… I quickly shook my helm, ridding my thoughts away.
"We should comm the others." I whispered, focused completely on the cave and not on the inexistent distance of our shoulder plates. My fans whirred.
He nodded, already a step ahead of me with his servos to his audials.
"Ratchet, the coordinates were correct. It appears abandoned, we'll be on lookout."
"Affirmative." I hear Ratchet grumble.
Magnus then turned his helm to me and raised an optic ridge, realizing how close we were, I shove myself back as calm as possible for someone’s who’s fan’s volume turned to that of a garbage disposal. He either didn’t notice or mercifully said nothing and instead continued in his usual stern tone.
"We’ll be scouting the area for any decepticon activity."
"So.. we'll be here a while?"
"Yes."
…
After the equivalent of 3.5 earth hours and a detailed dirt drawing followed by a reprimand from Magnus about "leaving behind tracks"… I got bored. Being on a recon mission with my spark lighter, without any plot going on, was uninteresting to say the least... He didn't make an effort to talk, his steady focus solely on the cave and the wind blowing the shrubbery. The only sounds that could be heard was the chirping of birds and someone's fans kicking on.. that wasn't mine for once.
Looking up from my plating was Magnus' helm darting away from my direction and back towards the mine. Was he looking at me?
Luckily, my fans had no time to react as Magnus held his left servo up, a silent command to stay still and quiet. He glared down at the entrance before giving the signal to follow.
He pushed his way past the shrubbery and slid down the cliff side we'd been securely perched on. I followed close behind, letting him lead a path through the straw like grass.
Now usually I don't question his orders, but this was meant as a simple scout mission, a "stake out" as the humans vids would say, and we comm base to come pick up the energon once it's deemed safe. But this seems to be quite risky for someone who's so.. well the complete opposite.
I ran every scenario through my processor as we continued deeper. Maybe he heard something? I'd thought he'd comm back to base and let them know. But our job is to see if it's abandoned right? So we’d have to confirm if it is, although just the two of us and no backup? Whatever it was, I'm sure Magnus has a good reason.
By now we were in deep, the only light we had to shine our way was our optics and from what little energon there was left behind in the walls. I was barely able to stop my chassis from touching his back when he suddenly stopped and motioned me to look into the wide open room ahead. My optics brightened at the sight.
Inside was a huge cavern with the walls and ceiling filled to the brim with energon, full of huge deposits that were barely touched. Carts full of even more glowing energy cubes were ready to be rolled out. For sure able to power our small team for a long while. Oddly enough the machines were trapped in vines and aimed at a wall full of energon, two more were aimed at another, covered in the same vines..
It's unbelievable that something drove the Decepticons out, especially with all of this energon ready to leave… But from the looks of it, it seems all of the abandoned machinery hasn’t been touched in a while...
"We should comm base-"
One of the drills far ahead cuts Magnus' whisper off, it turns on and attempts to cut into the rock around an energon deposit before groaning as it struggles against the vines holding it captive. Suddenly a Decepticon enters from one of the nearby halls and expects it, grumbling something along the lines of "fast growing.." and "damned flora.." while tearing the vines off...
We both duck behind the rock wall at the bot's appearance, Magnus’ throwing his arm back to push me behind him. Luckily the decepticon took no notice, ripping what little vines were left off before the drill’s shrill sounds started up again. Magnus looked over towards me and started to signal before he was stopped short by the sudden sounds of pede steps coming from behind us. Our only exit.
My optics widen, I look to him for orders only to see the same surprise in his. He turns to me fully looking around the dark tunnel before his optics catch something behind me and pushes me backward into it. With no time to react my back plating hits a hard rock wall, reflexively letting out a muffled 'humph!' into someone's servos.
"Shh… you need to be quiet."
Turning on my optics at the voice I was met with Magnus' chassis, and slowly trailing up his clavicular plate, his neck cabling, and finally his face were his optics gazing down at me inches away from my own helm. One of his servos covering my dermas while the other was pressed firmly against my side with what little space there was. I didn't dare speak, not with the pedes slowly getting closer or the intense stare of Magnus'. Looking at my surroundings before my fans kicked on, we were in near complete darkness if not for our optics. From what else I could make out we were in a small enough crevice for the both of us and surrounded by rock on all sides other than the tight opening I’d been pushed through. Magnus' form towered over me, keeping me from peeking out of the crevice he'd somehow shoved us both in. Daring to peer at his face I can make out his optics slowly dimming.
"Shut off your optics."
A shudder went down my spinal frame at the demand but I obeyed, hoping he wouldn't notice. Knowing how close our frames were and how intertwined our limbs were, he most definitely did.
We both stood stock still as the sounds grew closer, the voices complaining about the flora destroying nearly all of their equipment and setting them back by 7 Earth days. The panic built up pressure in my chassis, knowing they’d soon be passing us. The only thing grounding me was Magnus’ rough digits pressed into my coxal plating and dangerously close to grazing the side of my pelvic plate. I’d forced my fans to shut off despite the heat emerging from both of our frames.
A rock being kicked from a pede step just outside our makeshift cover made me flinch, something I dare not risk illuminating my optics to see pressed into my forehelm. I stood stock still, reaching out and clenching something to ease my jitters as we listened in the dark.
After the longest klick of my life, the sounds of pedes slowly fade away further into the cave. I only allowed my shoulders to relax when the cave around us was fully silent, I slowly turned on my optics before widening them in surprise from the helm inches away from mine for yet the third time this Earth cycle….
Magnus' forehelm was pressed against mine, his helm cast down and his features being the most peaceful I've ever seen them. Not a hint of his signature crease of irritation between his optic ridges, you'd nearly think he were recharging if not for the heat I felt on my own helm emanating from his.
I could do nothing, not able to move away even if I wanted to due to the rock keeping me trapped from behind. Instead, I stayed still. His optics slowly turned on, meeting mine before looking downwards. I followed his gaze to find the object I'd grabbed in the dark, my servos were tightly clenched around his digits. Before I could instinctively pull back and apologize, his digits wrapped firmly around my servos, three of his digits able to cover my entire servos fully. He’d made no move to push away, instead keeping our frames pressed together. My sensors were off the charts, at times sensing his thumb run over my outer plating along my hip.
I didn't know what to do, so I followed his lead instead. Not able to keep his gaze for long I tucked my forehelm into his chassis and we stayed that way for what felt like megacycles until we heard loud pede steps and the shooting of blasters coming close. Soon enough we recognized Optimus' and Ratchet's voices from close by. By then I knew we definitely took too long to comm back and I'm not planning on explaining what happened.

quidditch world cup — seamus finnigan
pairing: seamus finnigan x female!reader
request: Would you write a Seamus Finnigan imagine during the Quidditch World Cup where his crush sits near them during the game and has a tent near the Finnigans (and Dean) and when the Death Eaters attack and he and his crush hide from the Death Eaters together?
a/n: i changed a few minor details about the original request but other than that, enjoy!
A palpable buzz of excitement still hangs in the air after the match has officially ended. Some of those rooting for Bulgaria trudge out of the stands looking glum, but most, although the team they had been rooting for lost, are just as excited as the Irish—or perhaps not as excited, but close to it. On her way back to the tents, [Y/N] spots no less than five fans of Ireland weeping tears of joy.
"You'd think they won a thousand galleons with how they were acting," [Y/N] points out with a laugh after coming across an Irish fan pounding his fists on the ground and bawling loudly.
Beside her, Dean Thomas snickers. "I bet a thousand galleons Seamus is somewhere going bonkers—oh, there he is."
[Y/N], with much difficulty, tears her gaze away from the bawling man and looks up. Sure enough, Seamus Finnigan is standing a couple feet away from them in front of his tent, wildly brandishing a pole on which hangs the flag of Ireland.
She can't help but laugh at the sight. "How long do you think before he starts crying?"
Dean nudges her. "I assume you'll be wiping his tears away when he does?"
"Oh, shut up."
Seamus catches sight of them when they draw closer. He stops waving his flag around and grins at the pair, looking the happiest [Y/N] has ever seen him. "We won, lads!" he yells, bounding towards them.
"Lads?" [Y/N] wrinkles her nose, fighting back a laugh. Seamus looks like a five-year-old on Christmas day who just got the toy broomstick he wanted.
"Don't mind his vocabulary, [Y/N]. He's half out of his mind," Dean says in a mock sympathetic voice, clasping Seamus's shoulder with one hand. "You good, mate? Sure you don't need to sit down?"
"Never been better!" Seamus answers breathlessly, eyes wide with mirth as he bounces slightly on his toes. "Never had any doubt Ireland would win—poor Bulgaria never had a chance!"
"Don't start crying on us now, Seamus," Dean sniggers. "Or at least if you do, do it on [Y/N]—"
"Seamus!" [Y/N] exclaims, cutting Dean off with a sideways glare. "The painting on your, um, cheek—it's gone a little messy. Would you like me to fix it for you?"
It's not a lie. The large four-leaf clover painted on Seamus's right cheek has gone smudged and looks more like a big blob of green than what it's actually supposed to be. He absentmindedly drags his hand across his cheek, making it even worse.
Dean snorts. "Oh, now you're just doing it on purpose—"
"Can't say no to that, [Y/N]!" grins Seamus. "Gotta show my Ireland pride. I've got a brush or two in my tent. Come on, you two!"
Dean gives [Y/N] a look. She smacks him on the shoulder and rolls her eyes. "What?" she whispers as they follow Seamus into his tent.
"You seem an awful lot like you're up to something," Dean grins, not bothering to lower his tone.
"Who's up to something?" Seamus asks, rummaging in his bag presumably in search for a paintbrush.
"No one," [Y/N] assures him, glowering at Dean. And then, in a hushed voice, "I am not up to something—I'm his friend, I'm just being nice."
Dean raises his eyebrows at her, obviously not convinced. Letting out an exasperated sigh, she turns to Seamus, who has successfully located a small paintbrush and bottles of green and white paint. "Here you go, [Y/N]—Dean, where are you going?"
[Y/N] looks back at Dean only to see that he's halfway out of the tent flaps, back hunched as though he'd been tip-toeing. He straightens up, trying very hard to mask the devious grin on his face, and shrugs. "I just remembered I had to, uh, meet with Lee," [Y/N] gapes at him in disbelief. "I'll see you two later!"
And then, with no more than a final annoying smirk at [Y/N], Dean leaves the pair of them alone in the tent. [Y/N] lets out a quick breath of incredulous laughter, shaking her head as her gaze skitters back to Seamus, who looks just as perplexed as she does.
"Do you—um—" for some reason, some of the glee in Seamus's eyes dies out and is replaced by a touch of awkwardness; [Y/N] can see it in how his gaze darts away from hers. "Do you still wanna—" he gestures to the paintbrush and paint he holds in his hands.
[Y/N] has never hated Dean in her life more than she does now. "Of course," she sniffs, letting out a laugh in an attempt to ease the sudden burst of awkwardness now hanging between them.
Seamus hands her the paintbrush and paint, scratching the back of his head. "You don't have to do it really well, it's alright—I'm washing it off before I sleep anyway—"
[Y/N] lets out a genuine snort of laughter. "Are you sure?" she asks, eyebrows raised. "You seem like the type to show Irish pride wherever and whenever, even when you're asleep."
Seamus ducks his head in shame. "You've got that one right," he grins toothily. "Those blokes were amazing up there, don't you think? Never had any doubt they were gonna win—and Troy was bloody spectacular, did you see his goals?"
"They were hard to miss," [Y/N] agrees, amused as she pries the paintbrush and paint off of Seamus's hands and beckons for him to sit down on the couch, which he does, still rambling on about Troy—Ireland's best Chaser.
"Knew right off the bat he was gonna end up scoring the first goal—he's been training the longest out of all of them, see, he got signed right after he left Hogwarts and he's been under the Irish National Quidditch Team's wing for a decade!"
[Y/N] nods along, a smile playing on her lips as she dips the brush into green paint.
"And that was a bit of a daft move by Krum, don't you think, catching the snitch when Ireland was more than a hundred and fifty points up? Kinda' feel bad for the bloke, I bet his teammates are having a go at him right n—"
Seamus stops talking when she leans in close and places a hand on his cheek.
He swallows.
"Why'd you stop?" [Y/N] asks, pulling back momentarily and laughing.
Seamus swallows again, blinking rapidly. "You just. Uh, caught me by surprise."
She narrows her eyes at him playfully, smiling despite the blush coating her cheeks that she hopes to Merlin Seamus doesn't notice. "I'll be sure to give you a warning next time," she assures him, eyes twinkling. "You good?"
He nods, fidgeting around in his seat as he mumbles something about the Irish team.
[Y/N] leans in for a second time, hovering over him with one hand on his cheek to keep his head steady and the other fixing the painting of the four-leaf clover.
Seamus sits as still as he can, barely even breathing as he glues his eyes to a random spot beyond [Y/N]'s shoulder so he doesn't have to look her in the eye. In a lame attempt at conversation, he asks, trying not to move his lips too much, "Who—who were you rooting for?"
With her tongue darting out of her lips in concentration, she mutters, "Bulgaria."
Seamus's eyes widen almost comically. "You—what—" he blubbers, looking as though he wants to flail around in his seat. "Bulgaria?"
[Y/N] nods, jokingly scowling at him as she drags the brush across his cheek. "What, you don't want my filthy Bulgaria-loving hands on you?"
He opens and closes his mouth, looking at a complete loss for words. All he manages to get out is "Bulgaria?" in the same incredulous tone.
"Yes," [Y/N] laughs, drawing back to look at her creation. She places both hands on her hips as she tilts her head at him, eyes surveying the slightly better-looking four-leaf clover. "I think you're ready to go—unless you want to wash it off, since a Bulgaria fan drew it for you."
Seamus sits there, looking deeply offended at the notion of her supporting his favorite team's opponent. "I," he inhales, "am disappointed."
[Y/N] rolls her eyes, giggling in amusement as she sets down the paint and paintbrush on the table. "Cry me a river, Finnigan. Your team won, anyway—I don't see why you're so upset."
He rises to his feet, massaging his temples as though he's sporting a massive headache. "I'm very disappointed, [Y/N]," he admits, and she can't quite tell whether or not he's being serious. "You have everything—you're nice and you've got good humor and you're downright bloody gorgeous but you support Bulgaria?"
[Y/N] stares at him, the amused grin on her face slowly drooping as she registers his words.
"Bloody.. gorgeous?" she repeats, blinking.
Seamus's body turns rigid. He blinks rapidly, eyes wide like he's been caught in the act. "I didn't—"
Suddenly, a shrill, ear-deafening scream cuts through the air, louder than the celebratory hoots and whistles of the Irish. This one is filled with terror and fear and pain—the stuff of nightmares.
[Y/N] doesn't hesitate; she rushes to the tent entrance, dread blossoming in her stomach with every step she takes.
Everyone has stopped celebrating. The whole field seems to be at a standstill; smiles have fallen, the thrill of the Quidditch match forgotten as everyone stares up at the sky, where four people are being tossed about in mid-air.
"Are those—are those Muggles?" gasps [Y/N], horrified.
Another scream interrupts the deadly silence. And then another. And then another, until everyone starts screaming and running and the sounds of panic build up into a horrifying crescendo. Seamus tugs on [Y/N]'s arm—she hadn't realized she'd been frozen, transfixed at the horrendous sight above her.
"Come on, we gotta go—" Seamus is saying, dragging her by the arm. "[Y/N]!"
[Y/N] snaps herself out of her reverie. The tents are on fire. People are trampling over each other in desperation to flee to the forests. Her brain tells her to start running, so she does, Seamus clutching her hand beside her in a vice-like grip as witches and wizards alike push past them, shoulders ramming into theirs.
"Just keep running, we have to make it to the woods!" Seamus yells above the noise of panic; one of the Muggles in the air have started screaming—a woman—and loud, boisterous laughter ensues.
"Seamus, who are those people?" [Y/N] gasps, eyes catching onto the crowd of masked wizards standing beneath the Muggles. They're standing just several feet away from them, wands drawn as they march closer, huddled together in a pack. "Are those—"
"Don't look, [Y/N]—come on—"
Just before [Y/N] averts her shocked gaze, one of the wizards points his wand in her direction and a jet of green light rushes straight towards her—and it would have hit her right in the back if Seamus hadn't pulled her down at the last second.
Eyes wide with panic and her chest pumping with the adrenaline of nearly having been cursed, [Y/N] scrambles to her feet and lets Seamus drag her into a random nearby tent. "Stay quiet—don't move," he hisses once they've made it behind the tent flaps, crouching just behind the entrance.
"Seamus—were those—"
"Death Eaters, I think," he confirms her suspicions, gritting his teeth. "And they nearly damn cursed you."
[Y/N]'s grip on Seamus's hand tightens as she clamps her mouth shut, willing herself to stay as still and silent as possible. The woman's screaming intensifies and [Y/N]'s heart skips several beats when she hears it get closer and closer to where she and Seamus are hiding.
"Can't we just kill her already? Her screams disgust me almost as much as her blood does."
The voice is coming from right outside the tent. [Y/N]'s breathing gets quicker and she quickly covers her mouth with the hand that's not holding on to Seamus's.
"We are not here to kill—we are here to demonstrate," drawls another voice. "Let everyone see the powerlessness of these filthy, useless Muggles. It disappoints me how we have to resort to such means to prove an obvious point."
Seamus meets [Y/N]'s gaze; she sees her own fear reflected in his eyes. But even then, he gives her a reassuring smile, squeezing her hand in his as he mouths, "It's gonna be okay."
Slowly, she nods.
But then one of the wizards—one of the Death Eaters, her brain supplies not very helpfully—says, "Oi, do you see that?"
"See what?"
"That shadow. There's someone inside the tent—"
"Leave it. We are not here to harm magical blood."
"Shut up—who knows, we might get lucky and find ourselves a Mudblood!" Footsteps draw closer to their tent. Seamus and [Y/N] can do no more but crouch behind the entrance, eyes wide in mutual panic. "Come out, you!"
The tent flaps rustle. A hand pokes out—but then several screams cut through the air, and a sound like a powerful spell being cast echoes across the field.
"It's the Dark Mark!"
Several loud popping noises ensue. [Y/N] knows that sound; it's that of someone—or in this case, several people—apparating away. And then she hears four loud thuds outside, as though heavy bodies are dropping to the ground.
"I think they're gone," Seamus says, but his tone is still hushed.
[Y/N] doesn't pause to check. She unleashes her grasp from Seamus's and darts out of the tent, Seamus yelling behind her, and sure enough, the four Muggles who had been suspended in mid-air just moments before are now lying on the ground, eyes wide in terror except for the two young children who have fainted.
"Oh my God—"
"[Y/N]!" Someone—Seamus—catches her from behind as her knees buckle underneath her and her lungs seize up in her chest.
"Seamus—they—we have to help them—"
"[Y/N], calm down—"
She wrenches herself out of Seamus's hold and rushes to kneel down next to the Muggle woman, whose eyes have gone hazy, staring off into blank space. She doesn't even seem to have noticed [Y/N], who hovers over her, hands trembling, unsure of what to do.
Shaking, she takes the woman's hand in hers and squeezes, repeatedly saying something along the lines of "everything's fine, they're gone now" as Seamus stands back helplessly, wand in his hand as his eyes dart around the seemingly empty field of tents.
"[Y/N], we can't stay out here, they might come b—"
"What about them, Seamus?" [Y/N] cuts him off, gesturing wildly to the Muggles. "What are they going to do if the Death Eaters do come back? We can't just leave them here—"
Another loud, popping noise erupts through the air. All around them, familiar faces have appeared—ministry wizards. Seamus tugs on her arm and pulls her back to her feet, watching as the group of frazzled-looking wizards fuss over the Muggles.
"This is madness!" one of them exclaims, shaking his head in disbelief. Then his eyes meet Seamus and [Y/N]'s, and he immediately advances towards them, wand drawn.
"Calm down, Amos," another wizard says, stopping him in his tracks. "They're just children." And then, turning to the shaken pair, he nods. "Go back to your tents, you two. Everything's been taken care of."
"But—" [Y/N] begins, a thousand questions teetering just behind her lips, but Seamus mutters "let's go" next to her and tugs her along.
—
[Y/N] can't sleep at all that night.
She lies awake in her bed in her tent, the rest of her family already asleep. They'd been incredibly worried when she'd turned up outside of their tent after things had started to calm down. Seamus had insisted on walking her back, but [Y/N] had known that his mother must have been out of her mind with worry as well, so she'd told him it was okay.
Now, she stares up at the ceiling. Her hands haven't quite stopped shaking yet. Traces of the fear she'd felt before remain in her heart like an itch that just won't go away. She can't quite rid herself of it; the pure and utter terror she'd felt when she first saw the family of Muggles being tossed to-and-fro in mid-air.. the panic that tore at her heart when the Death Eater approached the tent she and Seamus had been hiding in..
She remembers being pulled to the ground as a curse hurtled through the air that had been aimed for her. She remembers the screaming. The vacant, unfocused looks on the Muggles' faces when the Death Eaters disappeared.
Suddenly, the tent feels too stuffy. She gets up out of bed and sneaks to the entrance, wanting to rid herself of the suffocating feeling in her chest with a bout of fresh air. She can't get out of there fast enough—she nearly trips over her own feet in desperation, and when she does tear past the tent flaps, she lets out a tiny scream.
"Seamus!"
Clutching her chest in surprise, she takes a step back.
Seamus is standing there, eyes wide like a deer in headlights before he drops his gaze bashfully and scratches the back of his head. "Hey," he says, raising a hand in greeting, but then he seems to remember that they're literally only three feet apart and drops his hand back to his side.
"Hey," [Y/N] says breathlessly. "What are you—what are you doing here?"
Seamus shoves one hand into his pocket, shifting a little on his feet. Quietly, he tells her, "I wanted to check if you were okay."
[Y/N] stares at him for a moment, unsure of what to say or how to react. The "I'm okay" rests on the tip of her tongue, but she doesn't have the energy to lie, so she just shakes her head and hopes to leave it at that.
Slowly—hesitantly, Seamus moves his gaze back to hers. "I'm not, either," he admits with a painful grin, fidgeting where he stands. "Can't really sleep. Too much thinking. Death Eaters and Muggles being tortured and.."
He inhales sharply, shaking his head. "You almost got cursed," he says quietly. "If I hadn't been there—"
"Can I hug you, Seamus?" [Y/N] cuts him off, and her voice sounds oddly pained. Like she's holding herself back from crying.
Seamus blinks, surprised.
"I'm sorry, I just—"
"Sure," he exhales, letting out a long breath he didn't know he was holding. "Sure, [Y/N]. Of course."
[Y/N] doesn't wait; she walks forward and throws her arms around him, gripping much too tight. She needs this. She needs something to ground her back to reality—something to pull her away from the dark part of her brain teeming with thoughts of death and torture.
It takes him a few seconds, but Seamus hugs her back. He may not know it, but when he wraps his arms around her and pats her back albeit a little awkwardly, he's bringing her back from the nightmarish part of her head.
They stay like that for quite some time. When [Y/N] pulls away, she wipes at her cheeks hurriedly and steps away, clearing her throat. "Sorry," she winces, trying for a small laugh. "It's just.. been a little much, is all."
Seamus nods, pressing his lips together. "Bit weird how just a few hours ago we'd all been losing our heads over Ireland winning, innit?" and it's a measly attempt to cheer her up, but [Y/N] looks up at him and smiles anyway. It's a little sad—a little off—but it's a smile nonetheless.
"I'm pretty sure that was just you," she tells him quietly, that same tiny smile on her face.
"Yeah, well at least Ireland won," Seamus retorts defensively, the same passion he'd been sporting a few hours ago making itself known again. And then he seems to remember that this isn't the time to be arguing about Quidditch; "Nevermind. Sorry."
"It's fine," [Y/N] assures him, a genuine smile breaking out on her face. "It's fine, Seamus. While we're at it.. you didn't finish telling me about Troy earlier."
[Y/N] needs to stop thinking about everything that happened, and she knows Seamus does too.
What better way to do that than with Seamus's passionate opinions on Ireland?
He seems to consider this for a moment. And then he folds his arms over his chest and begins in a theatrical, haughty tone, "You wouldn't know since you're a Bulgaria fan yourself," he says with feigned spite (or what she hopes is feigned), "But Troy is one of the best Chasers the Quidditch League has ever seen—he learned to fly a broom before he could even walk!"
"Somehow I find that hard to believe."
"Yeah, well, believe it. Anyways, Troy—unlike Krum—is plenty talented.."

Elemental Souls (SBI+Tommy 4 elements au)
(🌿) ♡ (🔥) ♡ (🌊) ♡ (🌬)
Techno Blade -Fire:
"Fire is the rapid oxidation of a material in the exothermic chemical process of combustion, releasing heat, light, and various reaction products."
You can either see Techno as rude, cocky and egoistic or you can see him as loyal, determined and smart.
Becouse of his cold facade,Techno can scare poeple off easily. The fact that he gets aggressive easily doesn't make it any better. He tends to be very sarcastic and loves to tease/ignore people badly which is another reason poeple tend to stay away from him.
Techno can be described as terrifying.Becouse he is very intelligent and silent poeple around him can only wonder what he is thinking and if he is planning on killing someone soon.Of course Techno never killed anyone and he would never do so but his scary aura makes people believe he did and would do it again.
He doesn't take things very seriously and will only get invested if he is deeply committed and interested in them or if he gets something out of it.Techno may say that he isn't a competitive person but god is this man lying to himself.
Challenging Techno to something is probably the most dumbest move you could make. Not only will he destroy you and win but he will make a whole ass war out of it.This guy won't sleep, eat or talk to another human being until he's won.And you can bet your ass he will totally humiliate you and rub it in till it burns-
That's what Techno can be seen as from the outside. But on the inside he is anything but confident, cocky and unbeatable. He is very shy and socially awkward. He only picks out certain people who he will let take part in his life.On some days his insecurities will get the best of him and he won't come out of his room for weeks-
Hours and hours spent on crying only then become evident once he leaves his room and reveals this mess of red and puffy eyes, dark valleys and pale skin. The vibes he gives off basically scream "back of and leave me the fuck alone or I will burn you to death"
Others may think that a fiery person like him has to have exciting and risky hobbies-When in reality Techno loves peaceful and quiet activities like reading or studying.May I add that in his free time Techno absolutely loves to be outside and farm potatoes on a daily-
Sure Techno does fighting and skill upgrading from time to time but when he is left alone with his head full of thoughts he will scurry to the local library and spend the rest of his day there.Nobody questions why he goes there or makes fun of him that such a tough guy reads books-Becouse they very well know he will personally beat them up and burn down their houses.
Techno's best friend Phil is the only person who he truly trusts with everything and anything. The two of them grew up together and developed a really strong emotional and family like bond.Techno only allows Phil to see his vulnerable and fragile side,he will cry infront of him and even let Phil hug him while he reassures him that everything will work out and be fine.
Techno isn'a touchy guy,for him pda is disgusting and unnecessary-like,why the fuck would you put your hands on another person? What kind of person enjoys sharing physical contact? Not Techno that's for sure.
Over time Techno became more open and extroverted so he agreed to meeting two of Phil's friends, both of them having different elements.Phil commented something about how he thinks that opposite friendships are way more exciting and fun!Techno didn't think much of it,he simply rolled his eyes and went along with it.
That was the day Techno met Wilbur and Tommy. He could immediately tell that Tommy would be annoying as fuck and really hard to deal with-I mean the kid was only twelve when they first got introduced.Wilbur on the other hand sparked some sort of feeling inside of Techno that made him feel welcomed in his presence.
So yeah over the course of the next four years the four element benders became really close.Yes even grumpy Techno had to live with the fact that he would die for all of them-even Tommy. And speaking of Tommy,he and Techno do everything together-
If you would to make fun of Tommy or tease/annoy him in any be it negative or positive way-Techno would hunt you down and burn you-If it isn't intense he will stick to only a threat-but if you actually physically or mentally hurt Tommy??Oh boy-I may have said that Techno never did and never would kill somebody, but in this case there is a high chance of an angry Techno being after you.
Techno sees his friend group as family members.Phil represents a huge father figure,Wilbur his younger brother and Tommy his youngest brother. He is very overprotective of them all, especially over Tommy if you couldn't already tell. With how much shit he gets himself into and the fact that he is only sixteen years young and his braincells are still producing he can't but worry for him and take care of him, even if he does bully the fuck out of him :)
Wilbur and Techno have the best moments. The two of them both enjoy reading so you can occasionally discover them in the local town library where they are just enjoying the peace shared between eachother. Although Wilbur does have a chaotic and wild side to him which he lets out when he's around Tommy,he becomes quite and relaxed when around the fire bender.Techno knew from the moment he met Wilbur that the two of them would get along great.
Techno isn't really good with showing his feelings or dealing with his emotions-Like I said apart from pride and anger he doesn't reveal much to the world.Phil used to be the only person Techno trusted but now with the whole gang on his side he earned himself more poeple to rely on.Of course it took time for him to open up and really let himself go infront of Tommy and Wilbur but the waiting definitely paid off.
When Techno practices, for example his weapon usage and fire bending it is best to leave him alone and stay a safe distance away from him. There is a chance for him to attack you, though he will most likely just snap at you and tell you to piss off if you don't wanna burn alive and if you wanna keep all your fingers in place.
Also not to mention,Techno is on the way of becoming a vegetarian. At the start he only hated eating anything related to pigs, like bacon or pork chops. But after developing his love for farming he noticed just how unnecessary eating meat is.Sure he still consumes meat from time to time but in most of the cases he will turn it down and eat a baked potato instead :D
Squid and Dream(A water bender and a earth bender) are both in a rivalry with him.Techno is probably the one who started randomly picking on Squid at one point and from there on out they kind of grew close? Not too close but most definitely a form of friendship.
Dream on the other hand is hundred percent the one who constantly competes with Techno.Be it in element bending or grades in school. If Dream manages to get even half a point more on an exam he would literally celebrate. The most annoying part is the fact that Techno doesn't even acknowledge Dream. Just to see Dream's face when Techno only shrugs and lets out a small "ehh" while saying that it doesn't matter and he sees no point in anyone trying to be as good as him or better, makes it more entertaining ;D
To sum it all up: Techno is a natural born leader. His dedication and determination along with his loyalty are a healthy base for a powerful soul. The reason behind his aggressive, confident and somewhat rude side is due to the fact that he is a fire bender and his element is naturally fierce. He fights for what he thinks is important and right and never lets anything happen to the poeple he deeply loves and cares about. He is not the best when it comes to showing sympathy and affection and he doesn't seek it from anyone else.He has to deal with major mental health issues but he's more than thankful for his friends that are by his side and help him out on his journey.Once Techno opens up to you more you know he likes you, like I said to earn Techno's respect and trust you have to meet his expectations and show him that you actually care for him and his well being. He needs some love guys <3
Like fire itself, fire benders tend to be passionate, dynamic, and temperamental. Fire can keep you warm, or it can do great destruction. While fire burns out quickly without fuel to keep it going, it can also regenerate its power from the ashes. A single spark can set off a forest fire. As a result, fire benders need to be nurtured and managed carefully.
Phil Watson - Air:
"Air refers to the Earth's atmosphere. Air is a mixture of many gases and dust particles. It is the clear gas in which living things live and breathe. It has an indefinite shape and volume. It has mass and weight, because it is matter."
The most hardworking, kind and caring guy you will ever encounter.Phil is the definition of wholesome :)
Phil is a very understanding and empathetic person. He patiently listens and respects people's boundaries and insecurities. He is a great comfort to many poeple with phobias and mental health issues.A part of his element is care and gentleness.Phil is very careful and elegant with his words and actions. He tends to not be hasty and obnoxious around people he first meets or knows who don't like that type of behavior.
He and Techno are very close.Phil trusts Techno with his eyes closed and the same goes for Techno. The way the two of them interact with eachother suprises people all the time. How could such a gentle soul deal with a feisty one like Techno's??Outsiders and even familiars wonder if the two share some sort of telepathic connection. All in all they share an unbreakable and strong family like bond.
Not only did Phil introduce his other really good friends to Techno and managed to get him to open up more and trust other people apart from him,but he also helped Techno realize that there are other poeple out there who care about him and want to give him nothing but undeniable love <3
Techno may be close with Wilbur and Tommy but the only person who knows about Techno's struggles and his biggest fears is Phil.He knows exactly in which way he needs to talk to him and how to act around him.Phil knows Techno doesn't like affection like hugs and holding hands but as a sign of appreciation and gratefulness Techno allows Phil to hug him while he calms him down and takes care of him.
The way he acts with such precision and grace makes anyone feel welcomed and comfortable around Phil. Phil is very helpful. He doesn't wait for poeple to come up to him and ask him for something,he goes up to them and asks if he can help them out with anything.
He stands up for justice and always does the right things.Phil has a big heart,if he sees anyone who is hurt or feeling down his parent like instincts will activate and he will immediately comfort them.
All three of his best friends(Techno,Wilbur,Tommy) look up to him as a father figure, which warms Phil's heart and he honestly he thinks it's super cute <3 So naturally Phil can't but see them as his three polar opposite, chaotic sons.He would do anything for the three of them, even risking his own life.
Tommy and Phil's relationship is probably the most cutest one. When Phil tells Tommy to quit it or to stop fighting with Wilbur or Techno(mostly Wilbur),Tommy instantly goes quiet and apologises for it.Phil's air bending is something that Tommy loves about him.He will always ask the elder if he can twirl him around in the air and make him fly.Phil gladly does so and he will tickle him with the wind he creates until Tommy is a giggling mess :D
Wilbur and Phil on the other hand are a completely different dynamic than Techno & Phil or Tommy & Phil. Most think that Phil would be scared of Techno like any other person is but it's actually Wilbur who genuinely scares Phil from time to time.Sure anyone who sees him doesn't think that something like "I just wanna fucking murder everyone around me and drag them to the bottom of the ocean-" would come out of his mouth. It's not only what he says it's how and when he says horrifying things like that. They could be out on a walk and Wilbur would just have the most blank expression while he says sentences like that.Phil is pretty sure that he even caught Tommy holding onto Techno's hand once while Techno shivered slightly with wide eyes.
Phil is known for being very respectful and polite. He doesn't like to be mean and angry towards anyone! He is a big pacifist(unlike other poeple 👀)who likes to sort things out with a nice and peaceful conversation instead of turning to immediate violence. He will argument with someone, but only when he has a good reason to do so.If he sees people arguing or fighting he will confront them about it and make sure they settle down and put their differences aside.
He's affectionate and really interested in the problems of others,as if they were his own.He will always be there if you are stuck with something and need help solving or overcoming said problem. He'll make sure that both of you find a way to get rid of it! <3
Air benders are also the most forgiving element benders,so Phil can tell the difference between acting out and just plain old meanness, and he understands that in moments of strong emotion, people can say and do things to can hurt others. Not that he'd ever do the same! His cool, collected vibe helps him navigate the drama and analyze it throughly.
Phil is a master of both small talk and deep convos, and he knows how to use his wit to get him out of awkward moments. That's another way Phil instantly gets the hang of strangers he just met!!He knows what subjects to bring up and what topics to talk about that they are interested in!
Also I quickly wanna say that Phil's laugh is super contagious! He could be out with Techno,Wil and Tommy while the three of them rant on and on about their days and just talk about random, shit.Phil will silently listen to every detail in the background while he uncontrollably laughs. He will let out a small "What?" or "No way dude" but apart from those small phrases he just prefers listening and cackling. He loves to see other people laugh and smile and is even more happy when he is the reason they do so :3
Phil is generous and selfless. He puts the health and safety of others before his own.He doesn't require many things to be satisfied in his life.As long as he has his family and friends he couldn't be more grateful <3
He definitely has a love for birds such as pigeons and doves. One time about two years ago Tommy brought Phil a beautiful silver feathered bird for his birthday. Even with his element being air,Phil sometimes wishes and dreams of flying himself, being able to feel that freedom for himself you know?He sees birds as lucky to have a gift such as flying.
Air benders are all about action, ideas, and motion—they are the “winds of change.” When a strong gust hits you, you can’t help but move. While some within their ranks may be true-life “airheads,” others are as powerful as a gravity-defying G-force. Air benders bring everyone a breath of fresh air when things start to get stale. Like the breeze, you can’t quite catch them, and you never know where they’ll drop you once they sweep you up. It will almost always been an adventure, though
Wilbur Soot - Water:
"Water is an inorganic, transparent, tasteless, odorless, and nearly colorless chemical substance, which is the main constituent of Earth's hydrosphere and the fluids of all known living organisms. It is vital for all known forms of life, even though it provides no calories or organic nutrients."
Charming, suave and flirty in a way that can only be from fiction.Do men like that even exist?Apparently they do and they go by the name of Wilbur Soot.
Ever stand under a waterfall? That’s what it’s like when a Wilbur is feeling an intense emotion.
Intuitive, emotional and ultra-sensitive,Wilbur can be as mysterious as the ocean itself. Like water,he can be refreshing,or he can drown you in his depths.Security is important to him, after all, water needs a container, or it dries up and disappears.
He tends to hold on to people and items long past their expiration dates, and his emotions are always flowing like the waves of the oceans.Wilbur has intense dreams, visions, and an intuition so strong that it’s basically a psychic power. He can see situations happening from a mile away before they occur.
He might intentionally seek out sad music or movies, and he probably has childhood photos framed in his room.Emotional and creative,he relays on his heart and gut to make a decision.Logic and reason are second to his feelings which is how he navigates the material world.Wilbur also longs for security at all times, which makes sense as he's protective of his loved ones and himself. He'll do everything he can to help the ones he cares about, even if it’s at his own expense.
However, like most things beautiful, below the surface many complexities often arise and the same is true when talking about water benders.
Wilbur is notoriously perceptive and he possesses instincts when it comes to sussing out people and situations. He's guided by his gut feelings and more often than not his first instinct about a person are dead on.He can get a feel for whether someones intentions are honorable or not just by observing their body language and general demeanor.
Like a river filling in every crevice of its path,Wilbur covers every detail and often picks up on things that others miss.No riverbed is left to dry as the water flows through each and every intricacy.
The water signs are no stranger to emotion, in fact, they often feel things rather intensely.
On one hand, his emotional side can provide him with a lot of insight and wisdom into the human experience which he can even then pass on to others. On top of this,it allows him to be incredibly empathetic which helps him form strong bonds with others.
But sometimes he can get so overcome by his emotions that it feels like a giant tidal wave just hitting him all at once. When he feels overwhelmed like this he can find it tough to think straight and make rational decisions.
Because he is so prone to analyzing absolutely everything he can sometimes overthink things a little too much and make life more complicated for himself then it needs to be.He has a bad habit of coming up with problems and obstacles in his mind that don’t actually exist or aren’t nearly as bad as he's talked himself into them being.
Sometimes you might catch Wilbur acting withdrawn or shy but the truth is he's probably just deep in thought and mentally a million miles away.He often finds his thoughts are racing at a million miles an hour and that he's powerless to do anything about it.
Just like a bustling river,Wilbur can be a bit wishy washy and kinda all over the place… especially when it comes to making important decisions.Too many options can sometimes leave him overwhelmed and struggling to make any decision at all.
He's also known for being easily distracted and can go from paying close attention in one moment to being totally away with the fairies the next.He doesn't do it out of rudeness he just can’t help himself sometimes!
Wilbur has a very private and mysterious side,he doesn’t like to reveal all of his cards at once. He's known for putting up walls and can be particularly guarded when he's around people he doesn't trust.
From time to time he needs space to himself to think and unwind. As much as he loves his friends and family there’s just some times where he's gotta have some alone time to spend by himself.
Wilbur sure has a unique way of looking at the world. His perspective combined with his vivid imagination makes him naturally gifted in music or anything involving a creative flare. He is a dreamer at heart whose ideas aren't limited by pesky rules or conventions.
He has a big musical talent, his voice is a perfect balance between rough and velvety. It's not too high and not too low,not too loud and not too quiet. The moment he strums his guitar strings he can wrap anybody around his finger.
Wilbur is emotionally manipulative. He can make you feel bad for something you didn't even do.He can make you regret things or certaint actions that aren't supposed to make you feel regretful. He will only use this "talent" of his in a worst case scenario. If you ever hurt his friends or loved ones he will make your life a living hell, wouldn't even wonder if you never decided to show your face to the public ever again.
Techno's and his relationship is wonderful.Wilbur has helped Techno so much to open up more and come out of his shell. They both enjoy the peaceful and quiet times in their life.Reading, going on walks or strolling along the beach while watching a sunset is just some of the many things they love doing together. He isn't as close to Techno like Phil is but he is close second. He sees him as his older and stronger brother who will always be there for him when he needs him.Honestly the two of them have such a beneficial dynamic <3
Now Tommy's and Wilbur's interactions are something absolutely opposite. When the two of them spent time together, they become these chaotic and annoying siblings that go around town and fuck with people. There was this one time where they flooded a barn which belonged to Phil's neighbors and the two reckless idiots ran away laughing.Sure Tommy steals Phil's stuff all the time or uses it without permission but Wilbur, just like Techno,is very overprotective of Tommy. If he finds out that somebody hurt Tommy in any way or made fun of him he will beat them up. Literally he will call in Techno for help to go and pay the little fuckers who messed with Tommy a visit. The only ones who are allowed to tease and bully Tommy are Techno and Wilbur,no one else.
Phil and Wilbur have some of the best moments when spending time with eachother. Not only is Phil a great source of reassurance and comfort but he knows that Phil will seal his mouth shut if Wilbur speaks to him about his insecurities and problems. He loves that Phil listens to him and never judges him about anything. Like the other two Wilbur sees Phil as a father figure. A great and inspiring role model he can look up to.
He likes to collect sea shells and old treasures he finds scattered over the sand at the beach. He doesn't like swimming or diving, which is really unrealistic to not only other water benders but benders in general. It's not that Wilbur is scared,he simply likes to admire it from the shore. He will do it from time to time must mostly he will just sit down and let his legs and feet rest in the cold liquid.
I can imagine that when he was a kid he used to pretend to be a pirate. He still has his old eye patch and hook that were part of his costume. Now,even after thirteen years he still likes to go up to the harbor when the fishermen arrive with a freshly caught catch and watch the ships glide across the indigo waves.
Tommy Simons - Earth:
"Earth materials are vital resources that provide the basic components for life, agriculture and industry. Earth materials can also include metals and precious rocks."
Tommy is outgoing, energetic and he isn't afraid to speak up and share his thoughts with others.A very openminded and positive guy.He always looks on the bright side of every situation he finds himself in.
He is down to earth. He doesn't believe in having dreams,he only believes and accepts things the way they are and how they are portrayed in his eyes.
People don't realize it but they are seriously underestimating Tommy. When you first see him you don't expect him to have good strategies and the ability of leadership like Techno clearly has.But that's the thing. One of the many things Tommy picks up while being in a friendship with the fire bender is experience.Techno will lazily teach the young earth bender how to protect himself and lead a team. Without Techno's guidance Tommy would have been in trouble countless times. So you could say that Techno is Tommy's mentor :)
He's a great mood booster! If there is awkward tension in a room or between others he will make it up by just being there and doing what Tommy does the best, brighten up the atmosphere! He will start random conversations and just try to get everyone else to do something fun like play a game or watch a movie.
Techno may help Tommy with things like self defense and how to establish dominance but the earth bender helps him with his potato farming! He will hurry up the process of their growth and make sure they are perfect before they are harvested. He keeps track of the amount of soil and vitamins the earth their roots grow in receives.
Speaking of Techno's and his relationship: The two of them are so close it's insane. They do everything with eachother! They train, upgrade their skills in bending and fighting, they go out to eat or have a drink, they go around town and fuck things up-the two of them are huge pranksters.Tommy always tries to prove himself infront of Techno and impress him in any way.Tommy loves spending time with Techno, the blond earth bender admires him in so many different ways- They don't have to be doing much together,it can be mindless talking or simply being in the same room.
Wilbur and Tommy are ehhh- special? On one side they are funny and entertaining together but on the other side they can be insulting eachother with such vulgarity that you could think they are about to commit murder any moment.Tommy talks so much shit about Wilbur. If you're dumb enough and actually choose to listen to him,he will ramble on about how Wilbur thinks he's so smart and good with the ladies- Yoo would think that after trash talking him that Tommy hates Wilbur's guts but it's the opposite!!If he catches you talking bad about Wilbur behind his back he will call Techno and they will hunt you down.
Tommy like everyone else sees Phil as his very caring and cool dad!Phil somehow always finds out about all the shit Tommy does and he gets scolded for it.Like most people,if Tommy ever has a problem he's dealing with or he's in a uncomfortable situation,Phil is the first person who crosses his mind and therefore the one he turns to.
The way Tommy goes around their town and picks fights with others is so stupid. At the end he comes home with bruises and wounds all over his skin. One time his best friend Toby brought him to Phil with a bloody nose and Phil's reaction was screeching-
He is extremely curious and stubborn. He doesn't really think before he acts and dives into unknown things he's not familiar with head first.Techno is the one who laughs at him and teases him about how clumsy he is.
Earth benders keep it real. They are the “grounded” people on the planet, the ones who bring us down to earth and remind us to start with a solid foundation. Slow and steady, these “builders” are loyal and stable, and stick by their people through hard times. On good days, they’re practical; at worst, they can be materialistic or too focused on the surface of things to dig into the depths.
Hope you enjoyed this au!!I am currently writing MULTIPLE stories and au's so bare with me guys!I don't like working fast becouse my work afterwards doesn't feel completed:( I hope all of you have a wonderful day/night <3 Love ya!!!

Match up! (*^_^*)
Hello! Thank you so much for taking the time to do these. I’d love to get an ikesen match-up please? I’m a 5’8 female (INTJ, scorpio), who’s body type is athletic and curvy. I tend to describe myself as sturdy. I have long brown hair that reaches my tailbone, with several ear piercings. I am currently a Master’s student studying marine biology, but my aspirations go far beyond this. My goal for a career is to be a research and field leader at a research institute studying marine life. I want to spend all my time in the field first hand leading the expeditions. I’m especially drawn to the ocean, coral reefs and killer whales, I most of all want to work in the Antarctic one day. Aside from my love of animals, my interests include learning about science and biology, building and engineering new things, outdoor activities (off-roading, fishing, hiking, camping), sports, and my one creative skill is writing fiction. I’ve been active my whole life and if things had gone a little differently I would have wanted to be a professional athlete. My favorite sports are alpine skiing, scuba diving, ice hockey, running, and underwater hockey. It takes me a long while to open up to people, which means I tend to only have a few close friends. However in the workplace setting I am very confident and I’m not afraid to speak up. I’ve had people tell me that I’m intimidating, and that my presence can have a great influence on the mood of a room/small group. But I’ve also had friends tell me I’m extremely chill, and never make anything a big deal. I see myself as very highly ambitious and the type of person that knows what she wants and how she’s going to get it. I know what I like and dislike, and I’ve grown past the fear of having people dislike me. I’m a pretty independent person. However, when I’m with my friends I am very much a joker, I love to make people laugh, and act silly. With only the closest of friends the chaotic energy comes out lol. My humor can range from immature to pretty dark. But I really need to know the people I’m around first; otherwise I tend to just go back into my shell. I can read people pretty well, which means I’ll usually try to make them feel more comfortable than myself in situations. This has led me to sometimes feel a little put out. I tend to go wherever, whenever I please. If I plan a trip, I’m going for a good time and don’t really need any schedules. I guess to end it all I’d say I’m very much the type of person that sees all the potential the world has, and all the potential I have to make a difference. Yes this can be hard and painstakingly difficult, but I won’t ever stop striving to meet the expectations and standards I place on myself. I will only keep going, learning more skills, going on more adventures, and seeking new horizons. Thanks again for taking the time to do these!! :) Sorry this turned out so long lmaoo - From Admit Terra (The second one running the blog)
Hi, hi, dear! ❤🌻Thank you so much for the request love! 🦊Hehe, you sound like a super cool person, lol master students unite!🙌🌻 Sorry for taking so long with this! Hope you enjoy this, dear, and I hope you have the best day❤😊! @sengoku-revolution admin Terra! lol tomorrow i’ll post admin Maru’s matchup!❤🌻
So I match you with…………… Yukimura
You were on campus attending a conference on marine biology that could greatly help you with your masters. The conference was incredibly interesting and ran late, only finishing around 10pm. As you and the other students and professionals in the field of marine biology, exited the giant lecture hall, you looked up at the sky and saw a flash of lightning blazing across the sky. You regretted walking to campus at that the moment, wishing you had rather driven, as you could tell by the heavy sky that soon it was going to rain cats and dogs. You quickly made your way back to the main campus gate, luckily you didn't live to far away. A drop of rain hit your nose and then another. You debated taking shelter from the storm in your department’s computer room, at least then you could chart down all the new knowledge you had gained from the conference.
That’s when you spotted a fellow post-grad student. You looked up at the sky once more and noticed that the lighting was going to strike the exact spot that the student was standing in. You ran and pushed him out the way. You braced yourself for impact but it never came, instead you started feeling dizzy and disoriented. Reality around you warped in a cloud of smoke.
When things came back into focus again, you noticed the man in the lab coat was gone, and you were now standing on the balcony of a burning building. You peered through the smoke to see a man peacefully sleeping on the floor. Unaware of the imminent doom of his downfall. You thought you might have been trapped in a dream, but the heat radiating from the flames brought your straight back to reality. Thank goodness for your physical strength, as you easily managed to wake up and carry the man out of the burning building. The man you had saved was incredibly intimidating and had the same look in his eyes that a shark would have right before it attacks, so you decided to bolt.
You ran and ran and ran through the forest, and soon your feet lost contact with the ground. You looked down and saw that you had almost run yourself off the edge of a cliff. Thanks to Yukimura’s quick reflexes, he managed to grab hold of your waist and save you from running yourself off the mountainside. He still holding onto you, as he took a few steps back to ensure both you were safe before letting go. You stared up at the man in disbelief, just where the hell were you. That’s when a familiar figure caught your attention. The man you had just saved from being hit by lighting! Sasuke took you aside and started to explain the situation to you, you honestly needed to sit down as it was a lot to take in.
Sasuke looked over at a beautiful blond man that reminded you of a snow prince and asked if you could stay with them. The man narrowed his icy eyes at you and gave a quick nod, before climbing on his horse and signaling to the rest of the men that it was time to go. Sasuke helped you up onto the horse, and that is how your new life in Kasugayama started.
You were someone who couldn’t sit still and always need to be doing something, so you opted to help out around the castle to earn your keep. Even though you were a little shy and reserved, you managed to fit right in with the people of Kasugayama. You were a little surprised at the mixed bag of men that you landed up with, as usual, it would take you quite a while to open up and come out of your shell, especially when meeting new people. But for some reason, they seemed to make you feel comfortable, and you found your self coming out of your shell and befriending them pretty quickly. You especially took a liking to Sasuke.
Sasuke was the one who formally introduced you to his Bff and your rescuer, Yukimura. This boy was definitely rough around the edges and did not have a way with words, unlike his flirty lord.
You were low key thankful for your ability to quickly read and sum up people as you quickly came to realize that Yuki wasn't such a bad guy. Although he seemed to think it funny to call you a wild boar woman. Even though he was slightly awkward with his words, you found yourself strangely attracted to him. He was down to earth and easy to talk to, and you found yourself relaxing around him.
“Hey dummy how many times do I have to tell you I ain’t no wild boar, call me that again and i’ll smack you,” you playfully quipped. Since arriving in the past, you had grown closer and closer to the aloof man. The two of you would banter every time you were together. “Awww common, you are definitely a wild boar, I mean you are just as strong, sturdy and athletic as one.” He would say with that mischievous boyish smile. At that you simply put Yuki in a headlock and started giving him a nuggie. He then started tickling you, which usually ended in a tickling/wrestling match between the two of you. Yuki’s wolf pup would usually get in on these playful fights that the two of you often engage in, and start licking the two of you mercilessly until both, you and Yuki are left laying on the floor breathless from laughter.
You loved that Yuki like you, loved staying active and going on adventures. And TBH Yuki was thrilled that he finally had a friend that he could go on fun adventures with. Sasuke would usually be too busy looking after Kenshin or doing research, to join in on these adventures. Not that either of you minded as you loved hanging out with each other. The second you found out that Yuki would run to stay fit every morning, you were ecstatic and joined him on his morning runs. This boy was shook! He legit has never met a woman that could keep up with him, yet here you were almost outrunning him. After your morning runs the two of you would always get breakfast together before starting your duties for the day! This is something the two of you did and looked forward to, almost every single day.
When the two of you were together, the banter and jokes were real. You loved to be a bit of a joker around Yuki. You honestly adored the way he would laugh with his whole body and go super red all the way to the tips of his ears, whenever you cracked a joke.
Speaking of laughing, you also had this crazy ability to instantly lift the mood in any room you walked into. Especially when it came to cheering Yuki up. As you see, Yuki has a tendency to take on more responsibility than he can handle and sometimes he gets crushed under the weight of it. But since you arrived, Yuki felt like he could do anything and take on the world cause you were right there by his side making some silly jokes and teaching him not to take things so seriously. You were the one that taught him to take occasional breaks and to relax, and that the world wouldn't fall apart if he wasn't working.
Lately Yuki had noticed that you were low on energy and not as bright and chaotic as usual. He also noticed that your jokes were a bit more, morbid as of late. He was determined to cheer up his dearest friend, after all, if you were happy then so was he. He stomped his way into your room and saw you sketching something. “Oi, boar woman what’s wrong, and don’t try and lie to me dummy, cause everyone has noticed that you have been down lately.” You looked up at the clumsy man and smiled, telling him it was a long story. He then narrowed his eyes and left it at that, although the picture you were sketching of the ocean certainly didn’t go unnoticed.
The next morning at the crack of down, Yuki dragged you out of bed to go on an adventure with him. You were super excited, these little adventures weren’t uncommon.
If the two of you weren’t off hiking up some crazy mountain, or fishing, you were camping with him in enemy territory as he spied on the Oda forces. Of course, it wasn’t all work as the two of you would go wherever the wind took you. Once Yuki was done with his spy work, he would send off his report back to Shingen, leaving the two of you without a strict schedule to follow, with all the time in the world to explore and experience your surroundings.
You noticed that the two of you were heading closer and closer to the ocean. Your eyes glimmered in delight when you realized that the two of you were going to spend the day on the beach. You wasted no time at all, climbing off the horse and running into your beloved ocean. The two of you played in the waves for hours on end. At some point, Yuki even fished out and handed you a pair of makeshift scuba diving gear. After a long day of playing in the waves and observing the ocean life in the crystal clear water, you and Yuki sat on the beach and watched the sunset. “Hey dummy sit in front of me, I’ll dry your hair for you. Can’t have you getting sick,” you wouldn’t usually let someone dry your hair for you. Still, he looked so cute with that blush spreading across his face, that you couldn’t help but comply. As Yuki dried your long beautiful hair, the two of you started talking.
You thanked Yuki for taking you on this fun breach adventure and told him all about your dream of becoming a field leader at a research institute studying marine life, as well as wanting to be the one leading the field expeditions. To say Yuki didn’t know anything about marine life would be an understatement, but the way you passionately talked about your dreams and ambitions had him straight up inspired. You told him all about how you were drawn to the ocean and coral reefs and that you wanted to work in Antarctica one day. He never told you this, but as you talked about your dreams of travel and research, he couldn’t help but make a silent vow in his heart to do whatever it takes to support and make your dreams come true.
In the weeks to follow you and Yuki spent more and more time together. Yuki was falling deeper and deeper in love with you, every moment the two of you spent together, and he was determined to tell you how he felt.
The weather started getting colder and colder, and soon it started snowing. He remembered from previous conversations that you loved ice hockey and alpine skiing (not that he knew what any of that meant). Hence, he decided to ask Sasuke for help in gathering everything he needed so that the two of you could play your favourite sports together. He had all his friends dress up and had Sasuke teach them all the rules of ice hockey. When all his friends were in position, he went to your room and said he had a surprise for you. He then put a blindfold over your eyes and led you downstairs. When he removed the blindfold all your Kasugayama friends stood before you, each holding up a letter that combined spelled out, “I Love you.” You were so happy and touched by the gesture that you couldn’t help but grab Yuki and plant a kiss on his lips right in front of all your friends. Cheers erupted as Yuki grabbed your hand, as you parted and led you onto the makeshift ice hockey-field.
The next day Yuki surprised you with alpine skiing down a mountainside. You honestly loved this goofball so much, and you couldn’t help but smile and shower his face with kisses whenever he would surprise you with your favourite activities.
Yuki honestly loved and adored everything about you from your chilled personality to your ability to brighten any-room you walk in. In between the war and battles, Yuki was always sure to make time to go on fun, crazy adventures with you, to explore new horizons. After he and Shingen finally managed to win back their homeland, ultimately achieving Yuki’s childhood dream. Yuki had one more surprise for you, and that was a trip back to the future so you could pursue your dreams.
The two of you travelled around the modern world, and you achieved your dream of leading research and travelling to Antarctica. And Yuki was right by your side through it all, supporting you the best he could.
Often the two of you cuties could be found on some crazy adventure, cuddled in each other’s arms and enjoying making new memories and living through new experiences together.
If the two of you aren’t being active and playing sports, you are spending a quiet evening at home watching tv and resting in each other’s arms.
Yuki loves holding you tight in his arms as he pulls his finger through those long beautiful locks. He loves to nuzzle his nose into your neck and leave sweet little kisses on your neck and cheeks as you read your newest piece of fiction to him.
Together the two of you continue to learn and grow while making the world a better place.
Other potential matches……………. Masamune
I hope you enjoyed this dear and I hope you have the best day! ❤🌻🙌

The Art of Duelling.
Wooyoung x reader
Summery: Wooyoung struggles with casting spells, so the group and Yn teach him how to duel.
(Had to repost forbsome reason my post glitch out)
__________________
I sat in the library studying and writing down notes from the two books laying next to me, sitting infront of me was my friend Yeosang a ravenclaw student and next to him Hongjoon another ravenclaw student, the three of us studying for the upcoming O.W.L.S.
Hearing a loud commotion the three of us looked up at each other and turned to the door of the library, other students also looking over, Madam Pince sighed from where she was sitting, standing up and walking over to the door.
Noticing a squabble between two students the moment my eye locked on to Wooyoung's figure being punched in the face I rushed up running over, along with other students Yeosang and Hongjoon following me.
We stopped right next to Mingi and Yunho the two Hufflepuffs in our group of friends, Yunho shock his head as he was talking to Hongjoon, while Mingi was cheering on Wooyoung as he threw a punch at the other student.
I smacked Mingi on the arm glearing up at him, his bright smile fell as he looked down at me rubbing his arm pouting.
Madam Pince separated the two students, grabbing their collars of their uniform and walking towards Professor McGonagall office.
The student's started walking off back to what ever they were doing before, leaving a small group of students behind, Hongjoon, Yeosang, Yunho, Mingi and myself.
"So why was Wooyoung puching that kid?" Yeosang sighed rubbing his head already getting a headache.
Mingi just shrugged his shoulders not knowing but Yunho sighed gesturing us to go back in to the library, we sat back down on our table, Yunho and Mingi now joining us.
"We all know that Wooyoung isn't the best when it comes to duelling right?" He said we all nodded waiting for him to continue.
"That other student Chan, he started making fun of him for it, Woo lost it and went for him" Yunho said shrugging his shoulders picking up one of the books from the table looking through it.
Yeosang looked at me are eyes meeting both of us knowing that wasn't the whole story, we both nodded as the two of us packed up, saying goodbye to the guys we quickly left the library.
"You don't believe that's it do you, Woo must've been pushed over the edge for him to hit somone" I said as we walked down the corridors of Hogwarts arm in arm.
"Wooyoung has been acting a lot different recently, that's all I know, at Dinner tonight talk to him see if you can find out what's bothering him, yeah?" Yeosang asked me, I nodded as we made our way to my dorm.
Thanking him for walking me we waved goodbye as he walked off to look for Wooyoung, saying the password the door opened and I walked in.
Walking through the lounge I noticed Seonghwa reading on the sofa, I sat down beside him with a sigh, He quickly looked at me then put the book down facing me.
"And why are you sighing like that?, are you alright?" He asked I layed my head down on his shoulder, feeling him pat my head I told him what happen.
Seonghwa listened carefully to me nodding also getting worried about Wooyoung as well.
"I'm sure he'll tell you what's going on, if you or Yeosang doesn't know then no one knows, you'll be the first person he tells" he told me, I nodded agreeing but I feel like Wooyoung was pulling away from me and I honestly didn't know why.
I walked to the great hall for dinner Seonghwa by my side, he was telling me about one of the potions that Hongjoon got wrong earlier, laughing knowing he'll never live this down.
Getting to the table I noticed Wooyoung still wasn't here, but it was still early he could be running late, but then again he's never late when food is involved.
Sitting down I saw that Yeosang and Hongjoon was looking over at me giving me a thumbs up for courage, Yunho also nodded at me Mingi too busy eatting already but quickly smiled at me as Yunho elbowed him.
After a few minutes some more students came walking in to the hall noticing Wooyoung being one of the students.
As he was walking towards the table I saw the now big dark bruise on his cheek, a couple of student's seeing and started to whisper, Wooyoung hands turned in to fists from his anger.
Both Seonghwa and I glearing at the student's gossiping about Woo the students immediately shutting up as he sat down next to me.
Wooyoung faced the table not saying anything to either of us, looking over at Seonghwa he sighed going back to eating.
"Are you alright?" I asked but Wooyoung stayed quiet picking at the food on his plate, I grabbed Wooyoung chin gently and made him face me.
Wooyoung eyes widened in shock at the sudden contact between us but I didn't care, I was worried about him and I needed to know if he was truly alright.
Wooyoung tried to look back down but I kept my hand on him as I stroked his bruised cheek, he flinched away and I apologised quietly now letting go of his face.
"I'm here if you wanna talk, all of us are, you know that right?" I told him, he nodded slowly a very small smile as he looked back at me, but it didn't reach his eyes.
We all went back to eating now in a awkward silence, looking over at Yeosang I shock my head no, he nodded in understanding.

Yeosang POV
After dinner I quickly made my way over to Wooyoung stopping infront of him, he stopped raising an eyebrow at me.
"You mind if we talk?" I asked Wooyoung nodded as we walked out the hall together, I noticed Yn watching us with a sad look on her face as she walked off with San, Yunho and Mingi probably going back to the library to study before curfew. God knows Mingi needs it.
We endded up sitting up at the quiddich stands, the weather was alright a bit chilly but thankfully not to cold. I turned to look at Wooyoung as he was staring of out to space.
"Woo, what's gotten in to you lately, you can tell any of us right" I said Wooyoung sighed nodding his head.
"I know I've told San about it, but I have to tell the rest of you to and eventually Yn" he said I nodded giving him a reassuring smile.
"I'm in love with Yn, and since I've realised this I can't act normally anymore, and even worse Chan found out and he's been a jerk about it" he finally let out breathing a sigh of relief.
I sat there shocked not expecting him to say that, a huge smile spread across my face as I started laughing out of happiness for my friend.
"Dude tell her, like now and start dating" I told him Wooyoung shock his head panic showed on his face.
"No I'm not good enough, she's a pureblood while I'm muggleborn and I can't even Duel I have to resort into fist fighting because I'm crap with spells" Wooyoung said I nodded getting an idea.
"You know Yn doesn't care about that kind of stuff, and If it really bothers you about duelling then what if we teach you how to duel, we can practice in the forest, you me, Hongjoon, Seonghwa, Yunho, San, Mingi Jongho and Yn will help" I suggest Wooyoung sighed but nodded agreeingwith me.

Yn POV
The next morning I walked down to the lounge of the slytherin house seeing Wooyoung and Seonghwa talking, the moment they saw me they stopped talking.
"Morning Yn!" Wooyoung said a bright smile on his face smiling back at him eyeing Seonghwa who just smiled back, knowing that something has happened maybe Yeosang spoke to him.
"You two ready to go to breakfast?" Seonghwa asked we both nodded as we left the dorm making our way to the great hall.
"Morning guys, Wooyoung you ready for your first lesson today?" Yeosang said smiling at him, Wooyoung nodded his head looking a bit nervous.
"What lesson?" I asked looking between the two Yeosang looked at Wooyoung crossing his arms, "you didn't tell her did you" he said Wooyoung shock hos head no.
"We as in all of us are going to be teaching Wooyoung how to duel, you in?" Yeosang said I looked at Wooyoung as he looked sheepishly down at the floor.
"Of course, but why do you want to learn now?" I asked Wooyoung shrugged at me scratching the back of his neck.
"So after breakfast we've decided to meet at the forest got it" we all nodded as we left to our separate tables.
____________________
Seonghwa and Wooyoung went off to the forest first along with Hongjoon, San and Jongho, I sat still on the table Yeosang walking over from his table to sit nect to me.
"Are you alright?" Yeosang asked as I drank the last of my water, nodding I stood up ready to leave, Yeosang stood calling over Yunho and Mingi as we all left the great hall.
As we were walking through the castle grounds making are way pass the grasslands Mingi and Yunho giggling about something from behind us.
"Incarcerous" I heard quickly turning around Yeosang moved quickly as I felt my ankles lock together, falling over I looked up at Mingi and Yunho.
"Really!" I yelled, as the two laughed so much they both fell to the floor, Yeosang untied my ankles helping me up, the two stopped laughing as Mingi quickly ran past me.
"Mingi get back here!" I yelled running after him, Yeosang and Yunho running after us.
Mingi got to the rest of the guys waiting for us, he ran behind Seonghwa as I stopped still glaring at him.
"I'm sorry" Mingi said to me peaking behind Seonghwa, the rest of the guys looking between us.
"Would it make you feel better if we told you that spell was for Yeosang" Yunho said running up to us, that just made Yeosang smack Yunho on the shoulder.
"Wait this is good, Yn, Mingi duel eachother, so Wooyoung can watch" Yeosang said grabbing Mingi arm and pulling him away from Seonghwa.
"Your just saying that because you know she's going to win and both of you get revenge" Mingi pouted arms crossing.
"Precisely and it helps Wooyoung" Yeosang said everyone nodded agreeing with Yeosang, I grabbed my wand from my pocket, ready to duel.
Mingi gulped grabbing his wand the both of us facing back to back walking then turning around aiming wands at eachother.
"Stupefy"
"Expelliarmus"
My charm hit him first as Mingi flue across the floor landing on his back with a thud.
The group burst out laughing as Mingi slowly stood up rubbing his back he grimaces at me as I chuckled.
"Well that was fun, now let's get to the studying" Hongjoon said the group defeated at that.
"Now you've got three different types of spells sneak, aggressive and defensive got it now, sneak spells out spell defensive spells, defensive spells out spell aggressive spells, aggressive spells out spell sneak spells, right" Hongjoon told Wooyoung who looked confused.
"I think you've confused him, Hongjoon" San said laughing at Wooyoung's face while he sat down on the grass.
"I think everyone is confused from that explanation" Jongho said eyebrows knitted together, Mingi and Yunho both nodded in agreement also confused.
"Anyway I want you to name any Defensive spells go!" Hongjoon said as he turned to Wooyoung.
"Um the Wiggenweld potion-" Wooyoung started but Hongjoon quickly stopped him holding up a hand.
"Can you make that?" He asked Wooyoung thought for a second then shock his head "No" he said.
"Then forget about it, carry on" Hongjoon told him Wooyoung nodded thinking again.
"Episkey, Petrificus totalus, Bombarda, Incarcerous" he named checking them off with his finger. I sat down next to San he turned to me showing a flower crown he just made.
I laughed as he put it on his head posing and batting his eyes, Jongho rolled his eyes at San being silly, while Yunho and Mingi were throwing grass at eachother and Seonghwa trying to stop them.
"Don't forget the Meteolojinx" Yeosang told Wooyoung, San butted in "Or the Bewitched sleep spell" he said flower crown still on his head.
"Not to mention the Waddiwasi and Levicorpus spells" I piped up, Wooyoung nodded at me.
"And the Slugulus eructo spell" Mingi yelled as he picked up some more grass but getting his hand slapped by Seonghwa.
"Ew gross!, I would never use that spell on anyone" I said fake gagging, San laughed "Yeah right I'm sure you would" San said pushing me over the two of us getting in to a giggle fit, I was still laying on the floor as San layed on top of me still laughing.
Not noticing how everyone was watching us or that Wooyoung was now glearing at San.
"Tell me the sneak spells that you know" Yeosang said distracting Wooyoung for the moment.
"Um right there's, Rictusempra, Flipendo, Immobuius, Diffindo, Impedimenta, Giant dungbomb."Wooyoung once again listing off the ones he knows.
"You forgot the Melofors jinx and the Ebublio jinx" Seonghwa mention to him, Hongjoon nodded "And the Flagrante" he reminded.
"Now my favourite Aggressive spells" Jongho said grinning at us, I side eyed San as we both scooted away from him.
"Expelliarmus, Incendio, Depulso, Confringo, Stupefy, Obscuro and Relashio" Wooyoung nodded looking at everyone making sure he didn't forget any, which he did.
"The Leek jinx and the Bat bogey hex are some others" Yunho told him not paying attention still, "And Anteoculatia" Jongho said now laying on the floor staring at the sky.
"Right now try some spells on Mingi" Hongjoon said Mingi flinched while we all laughed "Not fair" Mingi whined at Hongjoon.
"I'm just joking, not really get up" Hongjoon said Mingi sighed standing up and walking infront of Wooyoung.
"Please go easy on me" Mingi pouted to Wooyoung, his high pitch laugh fild the forest as we all laughed along with him, except Mingi himself.
"Stupefy!" Wooyoung yelled poining his wand at Mingi, Mingi stood there hugging himself eyes squeezed closed ready for impact from the spell.
Mingi slowly opened one eye peeking from his hands as nothing happened, we all frowned at Wooyoung.
"I can't do it" Wooyoung said sighing falling to the floor in defeat wand laying by his side, he covered his face with his hands and the sound of crying could be heard.
I quickly ran over to him hugging him from the side, rubbing his back in comfort whispering encouragement in his ear.
Wooyoung thankfully stopped crying as he looked up at me smiling, I stocked hos hair as he leaned in to me his arms wrapping around my waist.
"You'll get there Woo, everyone has trouble with something" San said walking up to him and patting his shoulder.
"We won't stop helping you, not until you can duel with confidence" Yeosang said we all nodded at him.
"Thanks guys" he said as we all stood up heading back to school as it was near lunch.
___________________________
It had been a whole month with helping Wooyoung out with duelling and he was starting to get so much better.
Hongjoong said that a couple more lesson and Woo would be ready for a real duel, if someone challenged him.
I was walking to the forest with Hongjoon, Seonghwa, Yunho, Yeosang, San and Jongho, Wooyoung and Mingi were already at the forest waiting for us.
We stopped hearing someone screaming from the forest, a few seconds later and Wooyoung came sceaming out his wand in hand running towards us.
"MINGI SET THE BLOODY FOREST ON FIRE!!!!" He yelled grabbing my hand and ran off in the other direction dragging me with him.
Looking back I saw the group looking utterly confused and Hongjoon and Yeosang running to the forest, wands now in hand.
Mingi came out running a few seconds later as well as he ran up to the group.
"I DIDN'T MEAN TOO!" He yelled panicking, I dug my feet in to the ground stopping Wooyoung as he turned around looking at me.
"Yn we got to go you could get hurt, I'm not letting up get hurt on my watch" he told me painc in his eyes.
"Woo, what spell did Mingi use?" I asked putting my hand on his chest my other hand still being held by him.
"The spell was Incendio" he told me squeezing my hand, I smiled softly at him shaking my head.
"Woo that spell isn't too dangerous it doesn't hurt and it's controlled, if he said Fiendfyre then that's when you have to run" I told him my hand moving up his neck and to his cheek.
"Ooh" was all he said as a light blush appeared on his face, he looked down at me smiling embarrassed after the new information.
I could feel us getting closer are lips inches away from each other, Wooyoung other hand placed on my waist pulling me closer, if we could get any closer that is.
The moment was ruined as we were both pushed apart from Mingi as he ran passed us still screaming.
"Mingi!" Wooyoung yelled anger in his voice glearing at the fading fugue running to the school.
"Wooh, what happened here" San asked smirking between the two of us, Wooyoung rubbed his neck laughing while I rubbed my arm biting my lip.
"Nothing" we both said at the same time, I looked over at Woo and caught his eyes so I quickly looked away getting embarrassed about the situation.
"So what's the plan?" I asked looking around the group making sure not to look over at Wooyoung.
"Up to Wooyoung, the forest fire was a false alarm we can carry on with the lesson or do it tomorrow" Hongjoon said a quick glear in Mingi direction he ran off too.
"Let's do the lesson, you said so yourself that I'm close" he said getting excited, we all smiled nodding heading back to the forest.
"Actually Yn do you mind finding Mingi, just make sure his alright and not causing a disturbance for anyone" Yeosang asked me.
I stopped looking at Yeosang as the group carried on walking having not heard Yeosang.
"What why can't Yunho do it or Jongho or-" I was interrupted by Yeosang placing his hand on my shoulder.
"Your the best at calming people down, you just did it for Wooyoung" he told me I side looking down at the ground.
"Yeah but Woo is-" I stopped not knowing exactly what to say, "Wooyoung is what?" Yeosang asked a smirk raising on his face.
"Fine! I'll got find Mingi" I said slapping his hand away from my shoulder and storming off to the school.
______________________________
It had been a few days now and I haven't been helping Wooyoung with his lesson, not that I didn't want to more like the rest of the guys told me not to come.
It wasn't in a bad way though but I do find it a bit lonely, now realising that beside the group I have no other friends.
I was so lost in thought that I bumped in to someone knocking me over and my books flying everywhere, I quickly grabbed my books together.
"I'm so sorry, I wasn't looking where I was going" the person spoke I looked up at the guy noticing that he was the guy that punch Wooyoung a few weeks ago.
"Uh no, it fine my fault" I said trying to get away from him, Chan stood infront on me stopped me from leaving.
"You're yn right, Wooyoung friend though I haven't seen you with him for a few day now, everything alright" he said I was just about to say something when the guys walked around the corner.
"What the hell do you want chan" Wooyoung spat walking infront of me holding up an arm like he was trying to protect me.
"Just having a little chat with yn" he said smirking at Wooyoung, Yeosang then walked up to us pushing me towards Seonghwa and San.
San put his arm around me while Seonghwa stood infront of me to keep me from seeing what was happening.
"Fine then you think you can beat me in a duel you mudblood" I heard Chan say to Wooyoung, my blood started to boil at what he call Woo.
"Oh it will be my pleasure to beat you" Wooyoung said grabbing his wand aiming it at Chan, Yeosang moved away from them standing next to Seonghwa
He quickly looked back at me to see if I was okay, I gave him a quick nood. More students gathered around them to watch.
Chan chuckled as he got out his wand, the two didn't do the traditional starns both just standing there aiming there wand at one another.
"Stupefy" Chan quickly yelled stepping one foot forward as a red light beamed out of his wand.
"Petrificus totalus" Wooyoung yelled a purple light beaming out of his wand, since Chan used an Aggressive spell Wooyoung countered it by using a Defensive spells.
The purple beam wrapped around Chan's body locking it in place as he fell to the floor, the whole hall way erupted in cheers, I clapped so proud of Wooyoung.
He turned back high fiving the guys San ran up hugging him leaving me the closest to Chan.
"Worthless, pathetic Mudblood" he said raising his wand to the back of Wooyoung while he wasn't looking, I quickly ran infront of him grabbing my wand.
"Slugulus eructo" I yelled aiming my wand at Chan, thankfully he was to slow to say anything so my spell hit him knocking him back down.
Everyone watched in disgust as Chan started throwing up slugs, he quickly ran off, probably to the hospital wing.
I turned around seeing the guys all staring at me with the biggest smiles I've ever seen on them.
"What, he was going cast a spell while Woo wasn't looking, that's not in the hand book" I told them shrugged putting my wand back in my pocket.
"I thought you said you'd never use that spell on anyone?" Jongho asked raising a brow while San nodded.
"There are some exceptions" I told them by now it was only us in the corridor, and the guys laughed their butts off.
Wooyoung suddenly ran up to me, picking me up and spinning me around as he laughed at what I did to Chan.
"Thank you yn, that was amazing" he said still laughing about the ordeal, I giggled along with him.
"I wasn't going to just stand there and let him hit you with god knows what am I" I told him, Wooyoung just smiled at me his hands still around my waist.
He lifted up his right hand and brushed a bit of hair out of my face, hand staying at my cheek.
"JUST KISS ALREADY!!!" was yelled by all seven of the guys, we both looked over to them glearing, they all laughed then ran off down the hall leaving Wooyoung and I alone.
"I can't believe them sometimes" I whispered under my breath shacking my head at the group of idiots that are known as my friends.
"Can I kiss you" Wooyoung asked me, I looked up at him shocked that he would even ask something like that, but my heart took over my brain and just nodded.
Wooyoung smiled as he leaned down slowly our lips getting closer by the second, I closed my eyes leaning up to meet his lips.
The moment our lips touched it was soft gentle, but the kiss got a lot deeper quickly almost like he was hungry for more, and I wasn't complaining.
My hands wrapped around his neck pulling him closer, his hands found there way around my waist our body's pressed up against one another.
We moved apart still being wrapped up in eachothers arms I looked up in to Wooyoung's eyes getting lost in them as he stared back.
"I love you Yn, I know I'm not good enough and that I'm mugglebord but-" I put a finger to his lips shuting him up, I didn't like him talking that way about himself.
"I love you too Woo, and I don't care if your muggleborn you've been my friend for years you know I care about personality more then anything, and you've got the best, your sweet, kind, caring, your amazing at pranks your smart and your funny, and I'm so proud of you for learning how to duel" I told him.
Wooyoung smiled again leaning his head against mine, a tear slipped down his cheek and I quickly whipped it away.
"Yn, you make me so happy, I'm going to marry you someday that's a promise" he said I laughed at that kissing his cheek.
"Wooh wooh wooh, hold up there, you two have just had your first kiss and your already talking about marriage?" San said walking up to us with the group.
"Not on my watch" Seonghwa said crossing his arms but a soft smile on his face, I hid my face in Wooyoung neck not wanting to see or hear the teasing.
"Yeah next they'll be talking about kids" Yunho said laughing, I felt my face blush at that, I looked up glearing at Yunho but thankfully Seonghwa smacked the back of his head.
"So are you two finally official?" Yeosang asked looking between us, the guys waited patiently for one of us to speak, I looked up a Woo and he quickly pecked my lips.
"We're official!" He yelled laughing squeezing me tighter to him, I chuckled along with him as the group cheered happy to see us finally together.

Pokémon Sword and Shield Review
So...I've taken some time to fully play Pokémon Shield. Now, I know this is pretty delayed, and I got the double pack so I wanted to play Sword first to see if how I felt was really accurate or if I was being too harsh. That said, let's talk about my experience with the Galar Region.
Initial Impressions
Overall, I was excited to play Shield at first. Everything was bright and exciting and the characters were easy to recognize and not overly generic.
The first few hours of this game, well it's a slow burn. And I do mean SLOW. Even with the text set to Fast and me taking things at my own pace it took me at least a good couple hours to reach the Wild Area. Furthermore, this game has an infernal amount of handholding, even when given the option to say "I know all this already" it still gives a brief explaination for almost anything and STILL makes you sit ALL THE WAY THROUGH the catch tutorial.
It's 2019 and older players still don't get the option to skip this. Come on GameFreak.
That said, the longer I played the more I began to notice...how should I put this? Blatant laziness?
The Wild Area
Now, the CONCEPT of the Wild Area in theory is amazing. It's still not too bad as is, but there are definitely flaws. For starters, the same tree has been copy pasted all over the place to make up 90% of the foliage.
More than that, though, despite the Wild Area having a good selection of Pokémon and a fairly varietied environment (desert, lakes, forest) it feels oddly...empty. There are no real secrets to speak of, no hidden areas, no easily missed items. Everything is all right out there to see and spread pretty far apart. I don't know if it's a lack of Trainers or the fact that I don't have an Online membership so I played alone, but the Wild Area feels like it just needs something MORE.
Dynamax Raid Battles, even when done alone, are fairly fun and sometimes challenging with the turn limit. Radiant AI Trainers spawn in to assist you if you're playing alone so there's no worries about having to take one on with just one Pokémon.
Camping, which can be done anywhere but is introduced to the player here, is an absolute treat. Have YOU played fetch with a unicorn? I have, and I love it. The wide variety of curries you can make with different ingredients is nice, and your Pokémon even get EXP boosts if you play with and feed them while camping.
The Pokémon
Honestly, I'm really not impressed. The Galar Dex of new Pokémon feels painfully small, so much so that playing Pokémon GO and catching a few Unova Pokémon made me yearn for the days when we used to get regions completely FULL of new Pokémon. Remember when you had to wait until AFTER the main game to start catching Pokémon from past gens? I...well, this might be an unpopular opinion, but I LIKED that.
That said, using a sparse selection of Galar Pokémon and Galar Regional Variants on my team definitely made the Gym Challenge more difficult. I picked Scorbunny, because Fire Types, and honestly didn't really care for it or its evolutions at first. Cinderace has really grown on me though and I like Pyro Ball as a move. It's flashy and powerful and that suits me just fine. Most of the new Pokémon's DESIGNS were good and I liked them, there just really weren't ENOUGH of them.
I'm fairly pleased with the regional variants as well. It was difficult to adjust to Ponyta and Rapidash being Psychic Type, but I really liked having them on my team. At the same time...Meowth not evolving into a Persian doesn't really sit right with me.
I'm all for branch evolutions, but Perrserker honestly just looks more like a giant Galar Meowth than anything. I played this with only the info given in the few scattered trailers I'd seen, so I was genuinely excited to see what a Galarian Persian would look like only to end up with Perrserker. The Typing is phenominal, and I think it's great to see a Steel Type Meowth for a change, but I just don't like where they went with it. Eh. Ces't la vie, moving on.
The Story
It's weak. Straight up, the story in this game is poor. There were so many directions they could have gone. I really liked the idea of Rose being this charismatic chairman hype man for the League and being the bad guy. I saw it coming, but it was a nice change to see just based on his personality. Still, it feels rushed. His motivations are really one dimensional and glossed over. Like, "Oh, here's the bad guy. Go get him." It worked in Gen 1 because Giovanni was a MOBSTER. He was MEANT to be a bad guy straight to the core in general, but Rose just doesn't have that vibe.
Not only that, but the "Bad League Members" are kinda meh. That feels REALLY lazy. They didn't even really get a decent uniform change when they started taking on the name Macro Cosmos in Rose Tower. They got black glasses. That's it. Just that. The fight with Eternatus feels painfully rushed and shoehorned in too, almost like they thought "Oh no, we need to give them a big nasty boss to fight! Let's just throw a random monster at them and say Rose summoned it. Seems like a solid plan."
I DID like the after story with Piers though. It really solidifies that older brother sort of nature with him, even if he tries to hide it most of the time.
The Characters
I liked Hop. As a character he's really fun and I like how they gave him this over excited very grand gestured sort of personality. He's really just happy to be ANYWHERE as long as it's with his Pokémon and you. His admiration for his big bro might come off strong and make him seem a little flat at first, but he's overall portrayed as a good kid and I like him.
Leon on the other hand...well I hated him for most of the game. His design is great and he looks fabulous, but he just has the most cocky, obnoxious, pandering personality 90% of the time. Still, I have to give credit where credit is due and recognize that he IS actually a multifaceted character. He showboats not just because he's too confident but also to give the crowd a show and put people at ease in times of danger. Not only that, but his recognition of his little brother's accomplishments and his graceful acceptance of defeat when you beat him reveals a really well written character.
I don't DISlike Sonia, and I have no problem with Prof. Magnolia sitting on the sidelines, but she can be a little...irritating at times with the way she speaks about and to people. The Gym Leaders, aside from Piers, feel a little...light.
I mean, most Gym Leaders don't have detailed backstories, but these ones feel paper thin personality wise as well. I had to look at the official GUIDE just to be sure what the relationship between Melony and Gordie even WAS because you only seem him in her Special League Card in Shield and that tells you nothing about him. The only real leaders that stood out to me were Piers and Raihan, and while I was iffy about his design at first I LOVE Raihan. He has so much more personality and ferocity than any of the other leaders. And the social commentary about him needing to constantly take and post a selfie, even after losing, is a nice touch.
The Galar Region
Is very linear. Like, VERY linear. Even when you take a branching path it either loops back around or gives you a free ride to wherever you have to backtrack to. I hope you like Hammerlocke, cuz you're gonna be visiting there several times.
I know that the region is based off the UK, and maybe my Americanized idea of cities is different (idk, I've never been to the UK), but a lot of the towns in this game feel really small. Like, almost smaller than some of the towns in Hoenn small. Maybe it's a lack of significant interactable buildings, but despite many of them having multiple floors you typically can only access one and that's kind of a disappointment. The hotel in Wyndon won't even let you get in the elevator, and while I get that Alola also did that, it's kind of jarring when the hotel in Motostoke WILL let you see other floors.
That said, I kind of expected more than ONE Wild Area. The one we DID get is fine, and I appreciate what it is and lets us do, but I honestly thought there would be multiple places to really explore outside the standard straight lines. Pokémon has never been a franchise to shy away from puzzles before so I expected this to not be any different. Unfortunately, I was wrong.
Moreover, many of the environment pieces are just UGLY. A lot of the ground textures are reused 3DS assets, and those copy pasted trees I mentioned earlier? Also 3DS assets. How do I know? They're pentagonal instead of round. In other words, they have five sides. Why? Because the 3DS hardware couldn't handle complex environmental shapes that well so they could get away with it, but now that we have nice round berry trees the contrast becomes painful. The Wild Area is so ugly the first time you see it is at NIGHT. They were so aware of what they did they hoped making it darker would hide the lazy flop instead of showing off how bad it was.
It isn't like they COULDN'T fix it either. Look at Ballonlea and Glimwood Tangle. They're absolutely beautiful and very well done. The modeling with them is fantastic and I love the glowing effects. They absolutely could've made the poorly done areas look amazing, but for some reason they didn't and the game suffers some as a result.
Other Thoughts
The Gym Challenges...they were not fun. Like, honestly some were ok. Herding Wooloo was easy, but they really didn't feel like anything I would expect from a Gym. The water puzzle in Nessa's Gym was fine, and I personally liked the spinning cup ride, but the rest just felt like agonizingly long padding because they couldn't come up with anything. Look at Circhester's challenge. It's a dowsing rod gauntlet where you have to avoid falling in pits in an artificial blizzard. It. is. SO. SLOW. That said, Spikemuth having just a Trainer gauntlet instead was kind of awkward. I reached the end and asked myself "Was that it? Is this it? Is this all there is to Spikemuth? Just one giant alleyway and a Pokémon Center?"
Raihan's three trials of worthiness challenge? It was more difficult than the battle AGAINST RAIHAN. Speaking of, I beat Hop, Marnie, Bede, all the Gym Leaders, Rose, Oleana, and Leon on my first try every time. While it was more difficult with my specific Pokémon choices, it really wasn't much. And can I just say that the Gym Badges are kinda lame? I get what they were going for, but the designs of each piece could've been really unique and intricate and instead we got glorified stamps.
I liked a lot of the general features of the game. Camping, clothing shops, League Cards. I love designing League Cards, even if I'm the only one who's ever gonna see em. That said, the clothing choices were really narrow based on what we got in Sun and Moon. The variety of different items was pretty small, though I loved all the punk leather stuff but WOW IS IT EXPENSIVE. Like Lumiose Boutique expensive. AND WHY IS THERE NEVER A REDHEAD HAIR COLOR THAT ISN'T JUST AUBURN RED? There are actually A LOT of redheads with LIGHT RED hair (that's more a personal gripe than anything, I know).
A lot of the music felt almost like rehashes of older BGMs. Like, Postwick, Route 1, and Wedgehurst all sound like they have remixed Hoenn music. A lot of the other music tracks just don't feel fitting for the areas or for Pokémon games in general. I like parts of the Slumbering Weald music and I like the Gym Music, but the opening of Slumbering Weald feels awkward and like it doesn't fit a mysterious forest we're not allowed to be in.
I know I've complained a lot, but there were some things I genuinely liked. A lot of the Pokémon designs, place names, and other radiant decor and parts of the region are actually subtle and not so subtle references to cultural points of the UK. Skwovet and its evolution for example are a gray and red squirrel respectively and are a nod to invasive species, which is neat.
In Conclusion
Is Pokémon Sword and Shield amazing? No. Is it bad? No. Sword and Shield fall into that mediocre middle ground of being ok but nothing to write home about. Could I have done without them? Sure, they aren't some world ending imperitive must play. They're ok, and they make for a fine jumping on point and a fine little adventure if you have spare time. Have other mainline games done it better? Heck yeah, but that doesn't mean Sword and Shield haven't done a few good things too.
Overall, it sort of feels like GameFreak bit off more than they could chew, or were afraid to make changes because of unfamiliarity with the Switch's hardware and software limitations. Pokémon Let's Go had a lot more effort, but it also was much safer and had a much easier to work with art style to everything. Chibi proportions are a lot easier to fake than a more realistic counterpart. Things can be not perfect and it's less noticable than with more realistic proportions, and I think they were afraid to push back the deadline any further for the inevitable backlash despite that being what they likely needed. The DLC may change my mind, but as it stands, just the fact that they feel they can JUSTIFY their laziness with DLC packs really upsets me.
I give Pokémon Sword and Shield a 5/10.
It's just, OK.

some place real
Hunk/Lance // canon compliant // stargazing // 1.5k // sfw
Summary: 'The stars you can see from here? This isn’t the same sky. The chirping sounds aren’t coming from crickets or cicadas either, and of course there aren’t any frogs. I can’t even imagine what the animals are like. I’ve only seen those weird cat-hedgehog creatures so far. And, Lance, this-“ he tugs at the ground- “this? It’s purple.’
or: Lance and Hunk have a mostly serious conversation about what “home” really means to them
Maybe Lance is too picky.
The grass beneath his fingers feels smooth, spindly wisps of violet bursting from the ground. The forest stretches out below the hillside and plumes of pink treetops stretch for miles. Animals of some sort chirp and hum, creating a backdrop much like cicadas and frogs on a summer night. A breeze ruffles the sleeves of Lance’s jacket.
And although every detail is familiar… it’s not the same.
>>READ THE REST ON AO3<<
Lance is content to sit here, under the stars. It’s always nice to see them from the ground rather than the inside of a ship. He likes it and wants, more than anything, for it to alleviate the homesickness sinking in his gut like a lead weight. But, no matter how many times he closes his eyes and tries to pretend, it doesn’t change a damn thing.
“Dude, was I right about the view from up here or what?” At his side, Hunk tugs Lance’s thoughts away from dangerous territory.
“Yeah,” Lance answers and immediately winces. Hunk has known him long enough to see through his bullshit. He puts on his most convincing smile and turns, “Yeah, it really is. I’m glad you brought me up here.”
Hunk hesitates and, for a horrifying second, Lance thinks he’s going to call him out. But he carries on, keeping his gaze focused overhead. “No problem. Pidge staked this spot out like the first night we were here, and now I can totally see why. It reminds me of… it kind of reminds me of back home.”
Lance flinches. There it is.
“Remember when we were younger and used to sneak out to the park? Because we didn’t want our moms to know we were out past curfew but wanted to look at the stars anyway? With your book about constellations?” Hunk’s tone is wistful, nostalgic. Lance remembers those nights all too well. “Man, I wish I still had that telescope. It was awesome.”
“Your dad took it with him,” Lance recalls. The thought of Hunk’s dad makes his skin crawl; he was never a big fan. “He took it when he left. Which made, like. Absolutely no sense. Why would a guy like him need that telescope?”
“Eh, it’s fine. He was a dick, that’s all there is to it. I guess he needed the money. And at least you had one, too.”
“True.” Lance drags out the u, glancing down at his feet. “Best birthday present ever. My older sister was- is a blessing.”
Our families are still alive. I shouldn’t be talking about them in the past tense like they’re not.
Hunk laughs, as if he doesn’t notice the misstep in Lance’s words, and shakes his head. The space around them goes silent. The lull in conversation isn’t awkward, though. Lance always enjoys his talks with Hunk for exactly this reason. Moments that should feel weird instead feel… comfortable. Natural. He supposes their relationship is just like that- as easy as breathing.
“This isn’t Earth,” Hunk mutters.
Lance chances a glance at Hunk. The uncharacteristic expression on his face twists Lance’s insides, coiling into painful knots. He expects Hunk to stop, but, surprisingly, he carries on.
“The stars you can see from here? This isn’t the same sky. The chirping sounds aren’t coming from crickets or cicadas either, and of course there aren’t any frogs. I can’t even imagine what the animals are like. I’ve only seen those weird cat-hedgehog creatures so far. And, Lance, this-“ he tugs at the ground- “this? It’s purple.”
Lance stares down into his lap.
“The grass is- it’s not green. It’s purple.” Hunk lets out another laugh, but this one comes out shaky, hollow. It isn’t like Hunk.
Without hesitation, Lance rests his hand over Hunk’s, lying between them. Lance curls his fingers and marvels at how warm the point of contact is. Hunk has always seemed warm to him. His personality, his sense of humor- it’s what made him so special. Lance still can’t believe he managed to befriend someone as genuinely kind and smart as Hunk.
Hunk scoffs. “You’re pretty smart, too. You know that, dude, you have to.”
Oh God. Had he really just- Awesome. Good job, Lance. He’d spoken out loud. Leave it to his own mouth to betray him like that. It wouldn’t be the first time.
“Um, I- thanks, buddy,” Lance mutters, suddenly self-conscious.
“Actually… this is going to sound super cheesy. And I’m worried you’ll make fun of me so, uh. Can you please promise me you won’t laugh?”
“Cross my heart and hope to die.” Lance pauses. “Wow, okay, maybe not die. That can actually happen now, what with the whole ‘fighting aliens from inside giant space lions’ thing. Cross my heart and hope to… lose to Keith! Yeah, that works.”
Hunk chuckles, and Lance can’t help but smile. That’s more like it. That’s a real Hunk laugh. I did that.
I made him laugh like that.
“Alright, alright, fine. I trust you.” Hunk takes a deep breath. Lance glances over and marvels at the light flush dusting Hunk’s cheeks. He can’t remember the last time he’s seen Hunk blush. “Anyway, I’ve been thinking about this for a while. You know I don’t usually get homesick, right?”
“Yeah, not as much as you used to. Proud of you, by the way.”
“Thanks,” Hunk says and Lance can almost swear his cheeks get pinker. “But I think I figured out why I’ve been improving.”
“Ah, yes. Better food? Eating green goo for every meal would make anyone long for the sweet release of death. Especially when you compare that gloppy stuff to your mom’s cooking…”
“Lance.”
“Oh, oh, wait! I’ve got it! Helping me tease Keith? I was so glad when you joined in. My list of ‘mullet’ and ‘samurai’ nicknames wouldn’t even be half as long without your he-“
“Lance, seriously,” Hunk warns.
“I’m just kidding, geez. Alright, what is it?”
Hunk looks torn between explaining himself and dropping the issue. Lance feels about two inches tall, thinking he’s the reason Hunk would shy away from a serious answer. Is he really that scared to tell me? They’ve known each for years; if there’s anyone Hunk can be honest with, it’s Lance.
“You,” Hunk eventually finishes, voice barely more than a whisper.
Everything goes quiet. One single word, that’s all it takes. It hangs there, charged and full of hesitance, and Lance has trouble processing Hunk’s response at first. He and Hunk are friends, sure, and best friends at that. But…
Lance has never really felt special. The way Hunk explains it, straightforward, with red-tinged cheeks. It’s hard to grasp the concept. The reason Hunk doesn’t get homesick… is Lance?
“Me,” Lance repeats uncertainly.
“I mean… yeah.”
“Huh.”
“Other than Pidge, you’re the only person I knew well before getting sucked into this whole mess,” Hunk rushes to explain. “But I’ve known you since we were little, you know? We lived on the same street, went to the same school- we even applied to the Garrison together!”
Lance smirks. The application for that damn academy took hours to complete- days, even. But filling everything out with someone there to suffer along with him… it sucked a little less. When it came time for interviews and dorm selections, it sucked a lot less.
“I didn’t want to make things weird between us but- I had to tell you. It was eating me up inside, dude.” For the first time since he started speaking, Hunk meets Lance’s gaze. His softened features, even in this context, catch Lance off guard. “You remind me of being back home.”
Home.
Lance chokes back the dying animal noise threatening to creep up his throat. Because Hunk is right- he’s totally right. When Lance is around Hunk, he’s reminded of visits to the playground, agonizingly long study sessions, weekly movie nights. The realization hits Lance like a fucking bullet train.
Hunk is his closest tie to Earth.
“Same,” Lance blurts. Instinct takes over, and Lance finds himself sliding closer to Hunk, slipping his arm around Hunk’s waist. He’s so warm. End me now. “Same, buddy.”
Initially, Hunk stiffens. But after a few seconds, once he seems to realize Lance isn’t messing around, he relaxes against his side.
“You didn't… laugh. Lance McClain-Sanchez managed to have a serious conversation with me about feelings-”
“Hey now! I can talk about my feelings just fine.”
“Sure you can,” Hunk teases.
“It’s one of my many charms.”
“…you’re unbelievable.”
“Aw, c’mon now. You know you love me,” Lance trills, brimming with self-satisfaction.
A beat.
“Mmm…”
The sound rumbles in Hunk’s chest. Lance feels it in his bones. He doesn’t miss the significant pause between responses. Hunk couldn’t possibly… But that’s a matter for another day. They could sort that out later.
Overhead, the stars continue to glint and shine. Their patterns, unlike those visible from Earth, would normally frustrate Lance. The purple blades of grass tickle any exposed slivers of skin on Lance’s body, occasionally eliciting little shivers that have him pulling Hunk closer. Bizarre creatures continue their chatter. The spindly branches of the trees below sway in the wind.
No, it isn’t Earth. But having a little piece of home with Lance everywhere he goes certainly helps.
