like what do you MEAN horror licks spoons clean when he's using them so he doesn't have to get a completely different one for the main course and the dessert. what do you MEAN dust has a lisp even though he speaks fluently and uses even more complex words than killer himself. horror knows how to sew and he often patches up their things without either of them noticing?? dust always wears oversized and clothes that cover him up just because he finds it comfy?? what??? out ra geous???? these guys have small little quirks to them that killer doesn't already know about???? killer immediately wants to know more. so he can expand his internal profile of them of course. not for any other more endearing and sweet reason. not at all,,,,,,,, (:3)

fuck it. no one has said this as far as ive seen but i genuinely have the headcanon that luz had a hardcore nightcore phase and you can pry that from my hands. she WOULD listen to nightcore/had a nightcore phase. listening to songs pitched and sped up with eye splittingy bright anime backgrounds - BONUS points if she discovered the "anime" she wanted to edit clips about in episode 1 of s1. she just has that vibe to me.

Hello! Thanks for the message :) i figured I would give you a little tasting charcuterie board of toh tickle headcanons!

First!!! of all a headcanon I had while watching the finale was that part of why she knew amity wasn’t herself was because she didn’t flinch or giggle when she got poked under the arm in this scene:

Second of all I think at some point there’s gotta be a tickling related glyph. I mean. Come on. There has to be be. Related - there’s gotta be some tickle spells out there right?!?!?! even if it’s exclusive to Eda / wild magic / emperor’s coven or possibly something to do with illusion magic idk!

Third of all I headcanon that Willow and Gus haaaaaaaave to have been the ones to introduce Hunter to tickling. I love the energy they have together and with each other individually plus they’re the ones to introduce him to hugs (See above! And also The adorable end credits photo on thanks to them of them of them wrestling like COME ON!) and I mean come on Willow was ready to crack this boy’s walls down and get him to be free and silly and himself from the get go just look at her with him:

super adorable giggly lee, easy to fluster, quick to laugh, very very cute

learned how to tease well as a ler from her mama, and boy does she use it

loves instigating tickle fights with her friends and doesn’t really care whether she wins or loses, uses this to cheer them up and bond on warm evenings in

loves giving her girlfriend a surprise tickle or poke just to fluster her and see her blush

she likes teasing king with tickles here and there but both of them were / are often victims of the vicious tickle monster eda

Amity Blight

theeeeeeeee most adorable blushy lee omfg

used to not like tickling very much because her siblings used it to tease her and made her feel weak but as they all grew older and closer and she was introduced to it again through luz it became much more silly and fun for her

very susceptible to teasing!!!!!!

has tried to win tickle fights with abomination magic but becomes useless at magic and fighting when she’s being tickled

used to be embarrassed by the sound of her laugh but has come to like it thanks to luz

frequent tickle fights between her and her girlfriend

can be a little shit when she does get the jump on someone and actually gets to tickle them for a change

evil evil evil evil ler!!! she’s so strong and determined and attentive to her friends that she knows all your worst spots and can and will destroy you r.i.p.

great at teasing, great at tickling, adorable laugh - and she laughs along with you while she’s tickling you

sooooometimes uses her plant magic to cheat in tickle fights

tickles hunter sometimes to help him clear his head / feel better / calm down when they’re hanging out alone, she’s among the first to introduce it to him and he confesses that it’s pretty fun and kinda nice when it’s not too much so she’s a fan of gentle tickles for him

adorable lee with adorable giggly laughter, very ticklish, loves getting into tickle fights

Gus Porter

uses illusions and tricks to help with teasing either his or his friends’ ticklish victims

very ticklish, squealy and high pitched laugh

has fun with tickle fights and pranks amongst his friends, likewise also absolutely loves being able to help introduce / ease hunter in to tickling when he realizes the poor boy is so sheltered / removed from something like that

willow probably tickles him the most, hunter might eventually catch somewhat up

he’ll also use illusions to help him hide tho if he’s got a tickly friend in hot pursuit

Hunter

never really experienced anything tickling related growing up, judging especially from his “what is this” when he was hugged in labrynth runners - so he’s not introduced to it until his teen years during the show

has a really cute laugh that he feels embarrassed about but his friends love (he dies of embarrassment every time he snorts which just makes them want to make him do it more)

is surprised by how ticklish he is sometimes

gets sooooo easily flustered and embarrassed by teasing

enjoys goofing off and having tickle fights with his friends, most often gus or luz with willow and sometimes amity or vee in the mix as well

I imagine this mostly began to happen once they all ended up in the human realm

Vee

can perhaps use magic to shapeshift ticklish spots away / off if she doesn’t want to be ticklish anymore for whatever reason

one way she loves to use this is when tickling someone else and then being smugly proud that they cannot get her back in the moment

also sometimes uses shapeshifting to make more ticklish surfaces / limbs / whatever (like having a tail or fuzzy fingers or something)

has a very cute sweet laugh, has fun with tickling since it’s not something she really experienced ever in her life and thinks it’s a fun way to bond with friends but doesn’t like to get overwhelmed / overstimulated

my headcanons and explanations:

with amity i headcanon her as trans female and as for the hair I didn't really like how short her bangs were in the show

also shes like the only one who wears mascara

with hunter i headcanon her as trans female as well! i imagine she likes her hair to be super long but it cant be at that specific length where it reminds her of belos and caleb

she has trouble keeping her hair healthy and brushed so she just keeps it up most of the time in the human realm

with willow i dont have a lot of headcanons for them

just that shes a demigirl and pan, and just really likes jewelry with flowers on them (for obvious reasons)

with gus i like to think he wears eyeliner because it simply makes him happy! also he 100% trips a lot which is why theres mud on his elbows

probably fell backwards into a puddle

with luz i headcanon that theyre genderfluid biromantic asexual so i added the genderfluid and asexual pin onto her beanie! i also like to think his hair grows fairly fast so i made their hair just the smallest bit longer

shared headcanons:

luz and amity have patches on a bunch of their sweaters and coats that say L + A or A + L

amity and hunter do each others makeup in the morning (aka just eyeliner and lip gloss mostly)

they all have at least one patch on a piece of clothing because both luz and hunter are obsessed with sewing

(everyone else just lets them do it no matter if they know the stitches dont always come out great)
