What if Geno Error and Fresh are all the same character?
Like how Geno became Error from getting stuck in the anti-void, Error becomes Fresh from one too many reboots, each time he reboots he loses more of himself including memories, so what if the parasite is just what's left of them after glitching out so much.
Obviously not canon, but wouldn't that be wild?

Who knows what the logistics of it would be but like. Reader who's kinda sorta Akivili's reincarnation of sorts and is just kinda clueless ab it but everyone else can kinda feel it
Imagine you, who has never felt satisfied with just staying in one place and one day the Express just pulls up and you feel especially drawn to it, though you don't know why. You try to rationalise it by saying that it's bc it's your biggest chance in seeing the galaxy!! And that's the most reasonable conclusion, surely!!!!!
But for some reason that doesn't quite feel right.
You stumble upon the Nameless and you greet them with a smile, and they can't help but stop in their tracks for a brief moment. Especially Himeko, whose eyes widen the slightest bit at the weirdly familiar energy you give off, and an interest in you grows within her—it's of a curious nature at first, though she finds herself wanting to be around you despite having only met recently. Even curiouser, when Pom-Pom sees you, stops with a weirdly glossy sheen to his eyes, and tells her that you "feel" like the Express itself.
Before you even ask if you could join them in their journey, it's THEM that asks you first. And really, why would you say no when that's all you've ever wanted?
You go with them in their travels, and for some reason you feel as if this is familiar to you. Why? Welt looks at you with a raised brow, though he doesn't say a word.. but he does ask if you'd be interested in tackling navigation with Pom-Pom. You agree, and it's the most natural thing you've ever done, as if attuned to the train itself.
You go from world to world, solve predicament after predicament with Stelle and the others, and you meet new people along the way and they can't help but be drawn to you. Is it bc of how easy it is to get along with you? Or is it how versatile you can be in every interaction and situation?
The stellaron in Belobog, for some reason, had whispered to be EXTRA careful of you to Cocolia due to an unknown fear of the things you can do, and her obsession to "protect" the world in her own way splits into an morbid curiosity of you. The Nameless, she gets, but why you specifically? And when she falls, it is then when she realises that ah, she is dealing with something far out of her reach.
Ruan Mei, the woman with an obsession to reach the power of a god—an Aeon—for her own conclusions, sees you for the first time and feels some sort of envy for you but neither of you know why.....so she runs tests, ones that she doesn't speak of to you for a mix of her own ensured safety, the lack of influence in results and HER lack of skill in communication.
You may go with it if you want, but when you tell her to stop she's.. strangely compelled to do so. Why is that? She investigates it herself personally by forming a connection with you through simply hanging out (and she even joins you in your expeditions at times), but that investigation melts away as she finds herself more interested in you rather than what you could be. Or does it? Who can tell with her.
And as you continue on with your journey on the Astral Express, you've drawn the attention of the infamous Stellaron Hunters. Kafka, especially, seems particularly interested in you. After all, what role do you have in the script and why, oh why, is Elio so unusually evasive when it comes to you? She makes it known—both your strange presence and her interest—and she keeps popping up left and right to speak to you without the pretense of combat in the forefront of her mind. As utterly useless and possibly unbeneficial to the script as it is, she finds herself wanting to witness your travels, wants to bask in that joy that only you could ever experience as you blaze a trail.
And through all of these encounters, you can't help but think of one thing:
Have you done this before?

HIII 🐓 ANON HERE!!!!!!
I come bearing you a new scenario.....one that has been slowly rotting my brain (help)
WHAT ABOUT ESCHER?? Like.... imagine if while Dottore was disguised as Escher he fell in love with reader ? (Need more Escher x readers... im a lil insane)
- 🐓 anon
When Dottore was sent out to Tatarasuna, he only had one goal in mind - simply to cause a minor inconvenience for Inazuma. What he did not expect, however, was meeting you. Someone who he initially wouldn't give a second glance to, but soon found himself uncharacteristically seeking your company.
What drew him to you was how you seemed to be an outcast. Which was strange, because if even a puppet could be accepted, why was a human isolated from the rest of the group? It was a bit intriguing to the scholar. Perhaps because he had gone through the same thing. With enough veiled inquiring, he found out the circumstances were similar too - you had attended the Akademiya but left because you had found it inadequate, in your words. Oftentimes it seemed like Escher would "test" you on things. On morality, how far you'd go for an experiment, on many hypotheticals. You were never sure if you passed these tests from his unreadable expression, but he seemed more pleased at your lack of ethicalness than a good person should.
Well, now he found you much more interesting. You, on the other hand, would naturally be suspicious of the mechanic. He seemed so gentlemanly and charismatic on the outside, but you couldn't help but get a weird feeling. However, did you care? No. Somehow he was still attractive with the graying hair.
He wouldn't fall in love with you that quickly, no, he would define his interest in you as merely that - interest. Nothing more, nothing less. However, he is willing to pursue this interest, just to see how it goes. It could benefit him. He is in need of another assistant as always. Perhaps you could be the fit he's always desired. And so he would offer you a choice - join him in the Fatui, or perish along with the rest of the village. (The choice is obvious.) Or if by some odd chance, he did like you that much, you're just getting yanked back to Snezhnaya.
Dottore ended up getting two useful things out of Tatarasuna. A new test subject, and a new loyal assistant, who he would soon learn to love.
Thinking about this Reader helping him create the segments and gradually learning more about him through them...

I've seen alot of takes from both toxic fh truthers and fh shippers that Scott will never ever get over Jimmy and will obsess over him until he dies forever which. I don't fault anyone for asserting considering that fucker has two jokes and one of them is lolol remember fh But. I think there's something to be said about how Scott has shown time and time again he really is not in love with any personal qualities Jimmy possesses (quite the opposite actually, he seems to find Jimmy obnoxious more often than not during third life including when Jimmy is not really even doing anything) but is rather entranced with the romantic fantasy that Jimmy brings.
Jimmy is, after all, young and pretty and in love and someone he feels relies on him and lets him feel useful so it's not hard to assign him as husband and leave it at that. I don't think Scott is quite in love with Jimmy tbh but I do think he's very much in love with his husband (jimmy). If that makes sense.
With that in mind, I think it's then fascinating when you look at the universes where FH assumably never existed or where he is able to find a replacement for his romantic fantasy relationship. Witchcraft Scott has Milo and Rat Scott has his weird platonic(????) thing with Owen and Pirate Scott focused on his brother instead, Scott tends to actually move on pretty well and adjust to being more. Chill.
Now then if I said last life Scott almost got to this point with his thing with GGG and Pearl specifically challenging his worldview. And then he fucked it all up. Then

it's so funny how people who claim to care about workers' rights sneer at the idea of artists getting paid for drawing ridiculous/absurd ideas
rights for workers until it's time for them to get paid for drawing gay sex cats, then suddenly their jobs should get automated and "who cares, it's just a drawing of cats spelling out gay sex"

Okay, apparently I'm in an Edolas mood tonight.
If I could add one thing, just one thing to the Edolas arc, I would absolutely have more Mystogan and Wendy interactions.
Like, I'm sorry, but you mean to tell me that after finally reuniting with her Jellal, the one she was so shaken up over during Nirvana, their only interaction basically amounts to him saying "Hey Wendy, sorry I ghosted you for seven years, but literally everybody is about to die and I can't stop it, so you should probably skip town."

While I'm ranting.
Can I point out this very specific ask CQ answered?
Tumblr media
And then these from Fresh origin comic.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Those little ghost looking things are Souls from a bunch of universes, Fresh is made out of many Souls.
So that Ask about Fresh Jumping from body to body being unable to develop emotionally, hear me out, what if Fresh whole being is kinda like pieces of all those Souls put together, that Fresh is so lost in the chaos of their own being, that's why staying with one body/host they start to reconnect to 'humanity' because they're supposed to have a full Soul, but were given sections of the other Souls instead.
So if they stick to one body/host/Soul, because the segments Souls are still less than the Host's full Soul, they might start to feel more whole like they should've been, because it’s as if the host Soul is his.
So The host becomes Fresh when the parasite possess them, but in a way, Fresh becomes their host as time goes on. not like the host takes back control, but Fresh becomes more like they were with emotion and even empathy, before Fresh took over their body.

Considering her very complicated, negative for half of Afterlife, feelings about her father, I was pretty surprised Callie was going to be a Ghostbuster. It felt a little forced, maybe I can see trying to understand Phoebe (and maybe even Egon) more but I’m not sure…
Thoughts?
This is really interesting to think about and I think there's several factors at play here:
Even though Callie is Egon's daughter, I think in a lot of ways she was written as a revised take on Dana Barret. Like Dana in the original movies, she gets possessed by Zuul and sees her child (or rather, children) in danger. Unlike Dana, she takes a more active role in saving the day very quickly. After being freed from Zuul and given a very rushed explanation to what's going on in the final battle of Afterlife, she immediately asks what she can do to help and goes on to activate the trap field in front of the house. By the next movie she's donned the suit and pack as a fully fledged Ghostbuster herself. This isn't meant as shade towards Dana, btw. She's a fantastic character in her own right who responds to situations in a way that is natural to her. However, I think there's always been the lingering feeling that she could've done more (I could do a whole separate ramble on her, but that's another topic).
In regards to her relationships with Egon and Phoebe, that is a pretty good explanation you've come up with! It would make sense for her to learn the tools of the Ghostbusting trade as a way to get closer to them. She barely got to know her father when he was alive, but knew he loved her deeply from the wall of her pictures in his study and the fact that he trusted all his belongings to her in his will. Phoebe is passionate about science, a subject Callie avoided because of the association with Egon, but now she has the opportunity to make up for lost time and get to know her daughter better. There's also to more obvious, practical reason to become a Ghostbuster, which is protecting her children! Throughout most of Afterlife, she lets Phoebe and Trevor roam as they please, which lands them in a lot of danger. I think she realized that there was no stopping them from pursuing the supernatural, so the best thing she could do was join them.
Finally, I suspect there's one more reason Callie became a Ghostbuster, and that's because of criticism from certain vocal parts of the fanbase. I remember when Afterlife was announced there were a LOT of complaints from people who hated the idea of kids being Ghostbusters. Never mind that they were great characters who would grow up as the series progressed. It seems that Sony chose to course correct by throwing more adults in the mix, and Callie just happened to be one of them. I agree that it would've been better if they included more explanation on her choice to become part of the team. The Dark Horse midquel comics had the opportunity to do that, but didn't. Callie's just a Ghostbuster now and we're supposed to accept that from the jump. I would still recommend reading those comics if you'd like to see more of Callie as she's written very well there. She has a much healthier relationship with Phoebe and actually cares a lot about making sure the family has good communication and teamwork (This makes the friction between Phoebe and Callie in Frozen Empire all the more frustrating, but oh well).
I myself have been working on a fanfic that addresses Callie having to use a proton pack for the first time… Remind me to get back to work on that soon lol

If The Hunger Games series was released today, with The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes released first, you wouldn't be able to use it as a discussion of colonialism and imperialism because you'd have entire circles of the internet dedicated to proving that the author is wrong and actually Snow is the true victim and screaming "Oh my god this is so disrespectful how dare you bring real world colonialism into your fandom discourse just to justify your faves. Stop moralizing fiction! Now let me tell you about how my meow meow isn't a colonizer and also Katniss is a crazy fascist."
Sidenote: The Hunger Games universe is an amazing distillation of the core-periphery model of colonization and imperialism and I will not shut up about it they should honestly teach it alongside Decolonialism 101 in schools which is why you know they won't.
