So I was going up to Maine with a friend. A drive that takes about 7.5 or 8 hours from NYC. We left at 3 and got out of the city at 6. To make it worse at 11 pm traffic stopped dead. Like I had my car PARKED. We were there for an hour. And it was like. No. Not happening tonight so we took the first exit we came to and found a hotel and while we were trying to check in someone called the hotel from the parking lot traffic and I collapsed in a giggle fit on the floor. The manager was displeased

Omg!! Slow traffic is the WORST thing ever! When we were going to Munich driving on my brother’s (super fucking hot) friend’s car, a tunnel just outside the city was closed for an accident and we were just FIVE cars away from getting through before it got shot down! So instead we had to wait there for half an hour and it was like 39 C and I almost die

So, we were working on punch/kick combos today in the dojang and my instructor (apparently impressed?) said "Way to go Wonder Woman. Wait, not, not Wonder Woman. Captain Marvel." He called me that throughout the entire session. I feel unworthy.

I haven't felt sexual desire or attraction for a very long time. A couple of years, I think. I've had sex twice. Ever. And both times have been bad. On top of everything I'm on both birth control and antidepressants which I know can affect libido. I want to want sex. I just don't. I haven't been in a relationship in 5 years now and... just nothing is clicking for me. I'm so distressed and I don't know what to do.

If you think your birth control or antidepressants are affecting libido, you could ask your doctor to make sure everything is fine. But birth control and antidepressants don't affect sexual attraction, which is a separate mechanism.

It sounds as if you could be ace, at least at the moment, and that's definitely a lot to process. It can be hard to be confident in an ace identity in the sexual world. Joining ace communities, such as tumblr or AVEN, can help with this type of thing! Also, relying on existing support networks is always good :)

Hi, Kelly Sue! I'm getting my first commission check from my new job later this week and there is a tattoo studio right by my dojang. I'm thinking it's time I finally get my Captain Marvel tattoo (all my ink is dedicated to kick ass ladies). I'm definitely getting it somewhere on my right foot which is my strongest kicking foot. But I'm still not completely certain of the design. Have you seen any good ones?

I’ve loved every CM tattoo I’ve seen, but I’m a wee bit biased on that.  

Here’s a couple I really like: 

(I can't find Gilbert's but there's another that Gilbert has that I also love, particularly because it's on Gilbert.)

Something that said “Aim High" would also make sense to me.  Have you seen this?   Carol with a sleeve by Dexter Soy.  I love this image so, so much.
