Hi, Fukase anon here! Sorry, It never occurred to me that people may have a hard time coming up with things for characters they don't know a lot about. Sorry :( /gen
Anyways, I really love the clown and red theme ideas! Also, since Vocaloid is technically a music software, I was thinking some music-themed names as well! Also, as long as this isn't too specific, could you maybe do some X-themed things since there's a lot of Xs in his design?
I also like the idea of the darker, edgier themes, but I'd rather not have anything explicitly horror/slasher/demon related... as someone who kins Fukase, being associated with that stuff brings back some rough memories :( /nm
I'm sorry if I'm being too specific or picky or anything like that, and I hope everything I've said makes sense! Once again, thank you in advance :)

Women’s History Month: strength, power, and perseverance
The Women with Silver Wings The Inspiring True Story of the Women Airforce Service Pilots of World War II by Katherine Sharp Landdeck
When the Japanese attacked Pearl Harbor in December 1941, Cornelia Fort was already in the air. At twenty-two, Fort had escaped Nashville's debutante scene for a fresh start as a flight instructor in Hawaii. She and her student were in the middle of their lesson when the bombs began to fall, and they barely made it back to ground that morning. Still, when the U.S. Army Air Forces put out a call for women pilots to aid the war effort, Fort was one of the first to respond. She became one of just over 1,100 women from across the nation to make it through the Army's rigorous selection process and earn her silver wings. The brainchild of trailblazing pilots Nancy Love and Jacqueline Cochran, the Women Airforce Service Pilots (WASP) gave women like Fort a chance to serve their country—and to prove that women aviators were just as skilled as men. While not authorized to serve in combat, the WASP helped train male pilots for service abroad, and ferried bombers and pursuits across the country. Thirty-eight WASP would not survive the war. But even taking into account these tragic losses, Love and Cochran's social experiment seemed to be a resounding success—until, with the tides of war turning, Congress clipped the women's wings. The program was disbanded, the women sent home. But the bonds they'd forged never failed, and over the next few decades they came together to fight for recognition as the military veterans they were—and for their place in history.
The Book of Gutsy Women: Favorite Stories of Courage and Resilience by Hillary Rodham Clinton, Chelsea Clinton
Ensuring the rights and opportunities of women and girls remains a big piece of the unfinished business of the twenty-first century. While there's a lot of work to do, we know that throughout history and around the globe women have overcome the toughest resistance imaginable to win victories that have made progress possible for all of us. That is the achievement of each of the women in this book. So how did they do it? The answers are as unique as the women themselves. Civil rights activist Dorothy Height, LGBTQ trailblazer Edie Windsor, and swimmer Diana Nyad kept pushing forward, no matter what. Writers like Rachel Carson and Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie named something no one had dared talk about before. Historian Mary Beard used wit to open doors that were once closed, and Wangari Maathai, who sparked a movement to plant trees, understood the power of role modeling. Harriet Tubman and Malala Yousafzai looked fear in the face and persevered. Nearly every single one of these women was fiercely optimistic—they had faith that their actions could make a difference. And they were right. To us, they are all gutsy women—leaders with the courage to stand up to the status quo, ask hard questions, and get the job done. So in the moments when the long haul seems awfully long, we hope you will draw strength from these stories. We do. Because if history shows one thing, it's that the world needs gutsy women.
The Doctors Blackwell: How Two Pioneering Sisters Brought Medicine to Women and Women to Medicine by Janice P. Nimura
Elizabeth Blackwell believed from an early age that she was destined for a mission beyond the scope of "ordinary" womanhood. Though the world at first recoiled at the notion of a woman studying medicine, her intelligence and intensity ultimately won her the acceptance of the male medical establishment. In 1849, she became the first woman in America to receive an M.D. She was soon joined in her iconic achievement by her younger sister, Emily, who was actually the more brilliant physician.
Exploring the sisters' allies, enemies, and enduring partnership, Janice P. Nimura presents a story of trial and triumph. Together, the Blackwells founded the New York Infirmary for Indigent Women and Children, the first hospital staffed entirely by women. Both sisters were tenacious and visionary, but their convictions did not always align with the emergence of women's rights—or with each other. From Bristol, Paris, and Edinburgh to the rising cities of antebellum America, this richly researched new biography celebrates two complicated pioneers who exploded the limits of possibility for women in medicine. As Elizabeth herself predicted, "a hundred years hence, women will not be what they are now."
Double Victory: How African American Women Broke Race and Gender Barriers to Help Win World War II by Cheryl Mullenbach
Double Victory tells the stories of African American women who did extraordinary things to help their country during World War II. In these pages young readers meet a range of remarkable women: war workers, political activists, military women, volunteers, and entertainers. Some, such as Mary McLeod Bethune and Lena Horne, were celebrated in their lifetimes and are well known today. But many others fought discrimination at home and abroad in order to contribute to the war effort yet were overlooked during those years and forgotten by later generations. Double Victory recovers the stories of these courageous women, such as Hazel Dixon Payne, the only woman to serve on the remote Alaska-Canadian Highway; Deverne Calloway, a Red Cross worker who led a protest at an army base in India; and Betty Murphy Phillips, the only black female overseas war correspondent. Offering a new and diverse perspective on the war and including source notes and a bibliography, Double Victory is an invaluable addition to any student's or history buff's bookshelf.

Day 16:  #mayvinylchallenge :  Halfway! Random - Close Your Eyes and Pick I washed my hands.  I followed the rules.  (Wonder Showzen reference)... Either way, closed the peepers and reached.  I came up with this: 🔺️ A Taste of Honey - S/T [1978] Boogie-Oogie-Oogie is pretty much all you have to say and people immediately know the 1978 summerjam brought forth by this L.A.-based band.  Consisting of the frontline of bassist/vocalist Janice-Marie Johnson and guitarist/vocalist Hazel Payne, A Taste of Honey (named so after the Herb Alpert song) rocked the disco scene with a tight grooved-out unit, with two women of color heading it all.  Look at that cover...SUPERHEROES!! The Mizell Brothers-produced album is packed with disco jams, ballads and tight funk grooves.  The hit single of "Boogie-Oogie-Oogie" was a double platinum hit, earning the group the Best New Artist Grammy at the 20th Grammy Awards in 1979. Other standouts to me are "Distant", "World Spin", "You", "Disco Dancin" and "Sky High". Crow on a Wire
P A R T E I G H T E E N
Neither puppy dog nor wolf Niall are there to greet you as you open the door. He’s hunched a bit, and his lip is cut and bleeding.
“What happened?!” You usher him in. Harry moves himself away from you two.
“I broke a camera.” He sits in your kitchen and you quickly wet a paper towel for him.
“With your face?!” You’ve found a dish towel to put some ice in.
“Don’t make me laugh, it hurts.” You tilt his chin back to be sure he’s wiped the blood clean. You hand him the towel of ice. “They were saying things they shouldn’t have said. They just kept saying your name, and I couldn’t do nothing.”
“It’s reassuring to know, Niall, that you’ve made a series of fucking bad decisions today. Don’t think I forgot because your face is bloody.” You turn to Harry, who is really quite farther than you’d like. “Harry, please can you go into my bathroom and in the cabinet there is witch hazel.” He nods and scurries to your bathroom. You call out after him, “Harry! Cotton, too! Under the sink.”
Harry returns with your requests. He puts them on the counter and skulks off to his corner again. You soak a piece of cotton in the witch hazel.
“Wish I could say I’m not going to enjoy this.” You move Niall’s hand holding the ice. You touch the cotton to his lip and he inhales sharply. His eyes well. Was it the sting or the photos?
“I’m sorry.” Niall babbles on, it was clearly both causing the tears. “I thought I was doing something nice by doing something not nice. I shouldn’t known it wouldn’t work because I’ve always been so fucking thick. Especially when it comes to you.”
“Ok. So explain. You have exactly one chance to explain.” You stand up because you can’t look at him crying and not immediately forget how wronged you are.
“I know how it looks. Because you know how jealous I was of Harry. And Harry, you told me something real serious, and I got jealous then, too. But if Harry makes you happy, then be with Harry. If Pippa Middleton makes you happy, go be with her.” You smile. “But how could you know if Harry makes you happy if you’re chased down by photographers all night. Harry, mate, you’re far more interesting to the paps than me. So I thought I could use that. If the paps thought you were with me, they’d stop looking for you with Harry. And if I looked like the bad guy to the fans, posting them photos then when you choose Harry, they won’t be so mean to you. Calling you those names. I was trying to help the story.” His fingers go up and quote the story. Silence. Because it seems as though he did have a good reason.
Harry shuffles and breaks the tension. “I think I’d maybe give you guys some time to talk.” He turns to you, and he gives you a sad, sweet smile before kissing your cheek.
“Harry, I’m sorry, please, it’s me who should go.” Niall stands. “I didn’t mean to make you so upset. I’m stupid. Simple as that. I’m glad you listened to me, though. Both of you.”
Both of them are headed for the door, “Wait! I swear to God if either of open that door I will ... I will... fuck Liam Payne in front of you. Now wait.” You earn a smile from both of them.
“You’re both going to leave without me saying goodbye?” You can hear your voice crack.
“It’s not goodbye. Just see you in a bit.” Harry puts a reassuring hand on your shoulder, moving his thumb to comfort you.
“It’s goodbye if I say it’s goodbye, though right? Because I believe you. I believe you both. And truthfully, nothing like this has happened to me before. And it makes me think... I can’t get between you two. You’re basically brothers. And I’ve seen that affection sort of die down. I don’t want that. So if I’m the reason that’s happening right now then I’m taking myself out of the equation. I choose you guys being close. I choose you two being happy, being friends again.”

Costa Blanca Bowls Roundup - 20 Oct 18
A  Double Six proves unlucky for El Cid at Monte Mar By Paul Trunchion Sitting top of the league with 2 wins El Cid travelled to Monte Mar hoping to build on their good start to the Winter League. Out of 90 ends El Cid won 50 which should result in a win but dropping a 6 on two tight games proved very costly. Over the 5 Rinks Monte Mar took 3 wins pipping El Cid by 1 shot for shot difference and resulting in a 8-4 defeat. Stars for El Cid were the two all ladies teams of Betty Anderson, Geraldine Scutt, Hazel Brown and Yvonne Briden with a 20-11 win and Ros Dingle, Shirley Payne, Anita Randall and Pat Metcalfe winning 18 – 13.  Well done to Monte Mar and must do better for El Cid. Next week sees El Cid back on the coach to Greenlands. Stewart Beattie AWAY SUCCESS FOR THE SWORDS! Good day for the Swords again on Monday, travelling to Finca Guila and coming away with 8-2 win (80 shots to 47)and a win on the Challenger Rink. In the scoring rinks best result went to Alan Hall, Jim Sissens and Ian Brown romping away to a 31-6 win. Wins also for Betty Anderson, Hazel Brown and Jill Glastonbury 20-14 and John Carr, Clive Bidel and Paul Whitmee 18-11. In the last scoring rink Pat Coburn, Paul Trunchion and Alan Ferrand were all square in to the 16th end, holding 3 to go ahead in the 16th only to see Finca’s Marjorie Parnham fire and take the jack back for 3 shots. No way back sadly and they lost 16-11. Big win for the Challengers, Dave Forret, Stuart Branch (who says this will no doubt surprise and please all his UK Mainland bowling friends!) with Stewart Beattie taking the game 27-12. Our Friendly losing out 18-11 on the ever challenging Rink 1! Next weeks match is now on Tuesday afternoon and sees the Swords take on BBC Tigers at El Cid. COME ON THE SWORDS! COUNTRY BOWLS CLUB Country Bowls ‘Cubs’ headed out to La Siesta for their second game of the season and for many of the team their first away league game. After a shaky start on all but one rink the newly formed ‘Cubs’ started their comeback. Winning 10 – 2 against the ‘Silvers’ with 4 rinks winning in a nail biting finish and the one loss that went to the last end. A very proud moment for the club and the team captain after a hugely successful summer programme introducing new players to the sport. The ‘Geckos’ in the B division finished with a 6 – 6 draw against San Luis ‘Leopards’ and the ‘Flamingos’ on Monday got off to a great start beating Emerald Isle ‘Saturns’ with a score of 8-4. All in all a positive start to the season for Country Bowls. For any information on Country Bowls please ring 966191552/635086742 or e-mail [email protected] . The Raiders proved to be the stronger team on the day 4 rinks with the other drawn, but the scores were close on most of the rinks, so all had to battle for the win, a great scenario for a morning’s fun. In the afternoon the Pintos were at Quesada playing the Rubies and had a good afternoons bowling, great company and a good result. Taking 3 rinks and drawing one, a fine end to an away fixture, a good start to the league. Horadada Bowls Club By Irene Graham  This week is the start of the two league matches per week for us and Monday wasn’t a good day at the office for the first match of the Discovery Division.  We were at home to San Miguel Dalmations and after a poor start we found it difficult to keep up to a better side on the day.  However we did have one winning rink and that was:    Irene Graham, Les Davies and Terry Hucknall.  Well played Guys.  The final score was 75 shots for and 95 against, giving us 2 points to San Miguels’s 10. Friday, in the Southern League, wasn’t a great deal better.  We were playing away to El Rancho.  This is not one of our favourite playing venues, it is difficult to adjust to the speed of the green.  In saying that, some of the rinks had very close scores and it could have gone either way.  One rink we only lost by 1 shot and another by 2 shots.  Our 1 winning rink was:  Irene Graham, Alan Miller and Brian Eatough.  This was actually a very good match for us although the final scores don’t show that.  Total shots for 71 to 87 against and the overall points were 2 for Horadada and 10 for El Rancho.  The match was played in a very friendly, sporting manner. Horadada offers a warm welcome to new or experienced bowlers, and provides the necessary equipment.  Our roll-up days for this friendly club are Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday mornings.  Please contact Fred Trigwell on 659139129 for more information

The Common Cause of Running Injuries Most People Overlook
It could appear odd, yet the finest long-distance joggers didn't get so excellent from running alone. To run harder, better, faster, more powerful, they supplement their keep up other types of workout like cross-training, stamina training, and also period running. Research studies reveal these are very important components in any kind of training plan to end up being a far better runnerEffects of cross-training. Transfer of training effects on VO2max between biking, running and swimming. Tanaka H. Sports medication (Auckland, N.Z.), 1995, Mar.,18( 5):0112 -1642. Result of resistance training programs on treadmill operating and also neuromuscular performance in recreational endurance runners. Mikkola J, Vesterinen V, Taipale R. Journal of sporting activities scientific researches, 2011, Aug.,29( 13):1466 -447 X. Run sprint period training boosts aerobic efficiency however not maximal heart result. Macpherson RE, Hazell TJ, Olver TD. Medication as well as scientific research in sports as well as workout, 2011, Aug.,43( 1):1530 -0315. .
But several joggers still overlook one critical part of training: boosting their equilibrium. Research study reveals equilibrium training can be made use of to protect against and also deal with intense ankle joint strains, and minimize the chances of ankle injuries in the futureSystematic Review of Postural Control and also Lateral Ankle joint Instability, Component II: Is Equilibrium Training Clinically Reliable. McKeon, P., Hertel, J. Journal of Athletic Training, 2008, 43( 3): 305-315. .
After all, the last sound any jogger wishes to listen to while running is a Rice Krispies-style breeze, snap, or pop signaling the feared ankle joint sprain. Depending on its severity, a sprained ankle can interrupt even one of the most thoroughly planned training routines as well as take anywhere from 4 weeks to a relatively limitless One Year to completely heal. Ain't nobody got time for that.
The Source of the Sprain
Unlike repetitive tension injuries-- like shin splints or runner's knee-- typical ankle sprains are intense, trauma-related injuries from rolling an ankle joint on unequal terrain, describes Jason Fitzgerald, a running train and also writer of 101 Simple Ways to be a Better Runner. This stretches or splits one or more major ligaments that link the ankle to the foot, creating swelling and wounding at the website of injury. And also it's also much more common compared to you might think: An estimated 25,000 individuals endure an ankle joint sprain daily in the U.S.
But you do not have to twist your ankle on a path or an unequal sidewalk to experience an irritating sensation in your reduced leg. Modest (as opposed to trauma-related) ankle joint or foot discomfort could also influence joggers. 'A large percentage of joggers have the tendency to overstride or speed poorly, which could cause ankle pain," spokens Chris Johnson, a physiotherapist, All-American triathlete, and triathlon instructor.
Another reason runners get the brief end of the ankle-sprain stick: Running is a plyometric activity, and bounding from one leg to the next with relatively brief get in touch with times puts substantial need on a runner's muscular tissues as well as joints, which can bring about injury, Johnson explains.
And that's where balance training comes in: "If a jogger has problem stabilizing on one leg on solid ground, running will be that much harder as a result of the raised forces and dynamic nature of the sporting activity," Johnson spokens. Required a lot more persuading to enhance your balance? Examine out these 4 reasons:
1. You'll create Herculean ankle stamina.
' Stabilizing exercises can enhance the ankle as well as bordering musculature that offer security while running,' Fitzgerald claims. One study found that professional athletes with chronic ankle instability demonstrated considerable improvements in their ankle joint stamina after finishing a four-week balance training programsBalance Training Boosts Feature as well as Postural Control in those with Persistent Ankle joint Instability. McKeon, P., Ingersoll, C., Kerrigan, D., et al. Medicine and also Science in Sports Workout, 2008, 40( 10): 1810-9 .
2. You'll boost your sense of awareness.
A neuromuscular component of balance referred to as proprioception (attempt saying that 10 times fast), or your feeling of where your limbs are placed in space, becomes impaired during an ankle strain. Single-legged exercises train the brain to anticipate and also collaborate activities in one's leg muscular tissues, making professional athletes much less susceptible to persistent ankle sprainsSystematic review of postural control as well as lateral ankle joint instability, part II: is balance training clinically efficient? McKeon PO, Hertel J. Journal of sports training, 2008, Sep.,43( 3):1938 -162 X.. That's also why toughness training, with a concentrate on improving balance as well as proprioception, can help runners (especially track runners) skirt about surprise bumps and also obstaces on the ground by enhancing their understanding of where either foot will certainly land, family member to other objectsEffects of a 6-week toughness and proprioception training program on procedures of dynamic balance: a single-case layout. Mattacola CG, Lloyd JW. Journal of athletic training, 2010, Jun.,32( 2):1062 -6050. .
3. It helps you balance on one leg (a.k.a. run) .
" When you run, there's a time period when you're completely in the air-- unlike walking, when one foot is always touching the ground," Fitzgerald states. "In this feeling, running could be thought about a very coordinated series of one-legged hops." Single-leg exercises (like the ones we highlight listed below) could enhance running-specific toughness and limit any kind of discrepancies that could occur.
4. It requires little to no equipment.
Balance training could be done literally anywhere, at any time. Many single-leg rehabilitation exercises fit conveniently right into any type of routine, allowing injured runners to multitask like a boss.
Your Action Plan
So you've twisted your ankle joint-- now what? First, it's essential to keep pressure off of the damaged leg (remember RICE: Rest, Ice, Compression, Elevation). Successive: See a physician who can recommend the very best course of treatment, which might or could not include an ankle joint brace to maximize ankle joint security and reduce swelling.
Whatever you do, don't run. Running prematurely after a strain may inflict irreversible damage. Actually, individuals who have currently had an ankle injury are five times most likely to have another ankle joint problem in the futureAnkle injuries in basketball: injury price as well as threat variables. McKay GD, Goldie PA, Payne WR. British journal of sporting activities medication, 2001, Jun.,35( 2):0306 -3674. Reinjury after severe side ankle sprains in elite track and area professional athletes. Malliaropoulos N, Ntessalen M, Papacostas E. The American journal of sports medicine, 2009, Jul.,37( 9):1552 -3365. . "As well commonly, I discover that damaged runners that look for bodily therapy companies are in denial," Johnson claims. "They make the circumstance even worse or extend it by attempting to go through it." Persistent ankle instability from an incompletely rehabilitated ankle joint strain can bring about further problems and disorder, he adds.
A much better plan of attack: Concentrate on low-impact tasks, like swimming, cycling, or rowing, which don't need sharp, unexpected ankle movements. As athletes gradually reduce themselves back into the groove of running, Johnson advises protecting versus injury by not enhancing their mileage even more compared to 30 percent each week. (Other pros suggest complying with the 10 percent regulation as a much more modest prepare for increasing mileage.)
Finally, improve ankle joint strength as well as minimize the threat of re-injury with straightforward balancing workouts. These 5 moves are very easy enough to do anywhere, anytime-- also while brushing your teeth-- to strengthen injured ankle joints.
1. Single-Leg Balance
' Just balancing on one leg without footwears is an excellent initial step for the majority of joggers," Fitzgerald says. Begin by balancing on the injured leg with a secure item nearby, such as a desk or a table. Execute the workout without footwears, basing on a fixed, stable surface area. Matter to 10, then remainder. Ultimately, work up to 60-second holds. Aim to do 3 60-second sets two times a day.
2. Single-Leg Equilibrium with Additions
For an included challenge, balance on your hurt leg with crossed arms, after that with closed eyes. Finally, effort to stand with the injured leg on a pillow (however develop to this slowly). Each of these enhancements will undercut the body, making the single legged equilibrium much more challenging to carry out. For each and every, count to 10, then rest. At some point, develop to 60-second holds. Attempt to do 3 60-second collections two times a day.
3. Single-Leg Alphabet Drawing
Once balancing on one leg comes to be easy, Fitzgerald advises vibrant balancing workouts. Stand on one leg, mapping the letters of the alphabet in the air with the raised foot. "This vibrant movement requires the ankle joint to function a lot more difficult to maintain the body," he claims. Complete the alphabet on one leg, after that switch. Total 3 collections on each leg.
4. Single-Leg Squat
Single-leg toughness exercises such as handgun squats are really certain to limiting asymmetries and improving running stamina, Fitzgerald states. To execute a single-legged squat, start by standing on one leg, arms extended directly before the body. Gradually reduced the body to ensure that the standing leg practically makes a 90-degree angle with the ground. Return to the beginning position slowly, controlling the activity as you increase. For included ankle strength, carry out these workouts barefoot. Function up to 10 representatives on each leg.
5. Slow-Motion Marching Drills
To further recover useful ankle instability and also appropriate stride discrepancies, Johnson suggests dynamic slow motion marching drills. March onward in a slow-moving movement, keeping the thigh as well as knee flexed at a 90-degree angle. Do the workouts barefoot with relaxed toes. First, attempt to march wobble-free for 30 secs. To understand the workout, march wobble-free for 60 seconds.
