basorexia ⸺ chapter 3⇥ emulation
professor!shouta aizawa x teaching-assistant!reader x professor!keigo takami
series warnings ⇥ 18+, smut, power imbalances, dumbification, blackmail, yandere tendencies, you’re probably not gonna like Hawks in this one, miscommunication, angst, stalking, dub-con, black-coded reader, hopeful happy ending, soft-dom!Aizawa, power-dom!hawks (I don’t know if this is what you call it, but he relishes the power he has over you.), love corner (because it’s two people liking one person, making it a corner), hopeful happy ending.
series summary ⇥ living on the edge, sleeping, and having a relationship with your boss was never on your bucket list but here you are. Locked within a tangle of arms together, you thought nothing could touch, but soon one will find out how much obsession can open all secrets. For both you and everyone around you.
masterlist. taglist.
chapter summary ⇥ the table is set, after a week of images of you and Shouta being sent to your phone, held over your head, you come face to face with the person... who may not be what you expected.
chapter warnings ⇥ no smut in this, but minors still do not interact. blackmail. betrayal.
word count ⇥ 4.9k
You haven’t slept a wink.
At first, you tried to pretend that nothing happened, fell right back into Shouta’s arms, and continued to sleep. All you could do was glance at your phone, plugged up into the wall. However, no sleep was owing to you, you were tired, but your heart column stopped racing. Before you knew it, it was daylight, the sun peeking through the horizon.
Sighing, you pushed Shouta’s arms away from you, quietly tiptoeing out of the bedroom, and headed down towards the kitchen. Sniffing as you open the fridge, pulling out one of Shouta’s beers before closing it. You walked over to the drawer, pulling out a bottle owner before popping the metal cap up, steam willowing from the bottle stem. You drank some of it straight down, walking towards one of the bar stools, pulling it out, and sitting down. Grimacing at the bitter taste, remnants of the man laying his head upstairs. You continued drinking the beer as you stared out into nothing, your mind spiraling yet empty at the same time.
What were you going to do?
Sighing, you closed your eyes, flashes of your phone appearing in your mind.
I know your secret angel, ;-)
Gasping, jumping slightly as you opened your eyes, your breath shaky as you did so. Your heart pounded as you got up, pacing around the spacious kitchen as you did so. The photos of you and Shouta were from all around the town, but the one that disturbed you the most was of you entering his car, earlier that evening. If it wasn’t for the other pictures, you would have assumed someone had found them by mistake, but they weren't. Other pictures of the two of you, getting close, were too close for people to obviously see what was going on. Shouta always and constantly told you to be careful, even though he constantly broke his own rules as well.
Now it backfired in both of your faces.
Would you tell him? Do you break the allure between you two? That his job, and your career within the sciences, that there was now a very real possibility of it being gone forever?
Finishing the last of the beer, the smell of bitter wheat is on your breath now as you walk towards the sink, rinsing the bottle before placing it in his little recycling container. You let out a huff of air, the smell of the kitchen bringing you back down to earth. The overwhelming feeling of sleepiness began to weigh upon you, just the feeling you were looking for in drinking. With heavy eyes, you headed right back up the stairs, into the bedroom before climbing right back into SHouta’s arms. Like clockwork, you could feel his arms wrap around you, pulling you in like a teddy bear. Taking a deep breath, the light smell of his cologne brings temporary peace to your raging mind. Slowly, your eyes close, the smell of his light snores and rumbles lulling into your deep, alcohol-permeated sleep.
You blinked down at the new text message you got, holding a spoon over the bowl of cereal you made. It was an unknown number, yet the contents had you realize that it was from the same person who had emailed in the wee light of the morning. It was morning time now, all quiet as Shouta was not a morning person so he wasn’t even awake just yet. You had cleaned up and showered, wearing one of Shouta's smaller shirts that he gave you with a pair of baggy sweatpants.
He had sent another picture of you and Shouta, walking very close to each other, his hand lingering around your waist. This was during the summer when you were interning under him to prepare for both of your master’s programs. It was when your relationship was just beginning, the two of you just getting closer. Taking a breath, you moved to put your phone down, only for it to ring again. Glancing at it, revealing another text message, nothing but another photo,
Who are you??
You sent it before slamming your phone right on the table and focusing right back on your cereal. You could take a couple bits before a ding went off, relaxing a bit at the recognition of it being a text tone, instead of your email tones. You picked it up, expecting to see something from your cousin or your friend, only to stare wide-eyed at the message from an unknown number.
You’ll find that out soon, won’t you?
Anger and fear ravaged you, you thought you were being careful. However, it didn’t matter. Someone has been watching you, and Shouta for at least a month, if they knew how much Bambino’s even meant to you. They might have been watching you before that. Hands shaking and trembling, you angrily typed out another response to this person.
Please just leave me alone!!!
Just as you sent it, but before you could slam it on the table, a voice ripped through the tense silence.
“Cereal for breakfast again? Thought we talked about this?” Shouta’s raspy, gruff morning voice cut through your somber mood.
Gasping, you wipe away the welling tears before he could have a chance of spotting them before turning around facing with the best smile you could muster. You flipped your phone into its screen before walking towards it. He was shirtless, hair out of its ponytail, dripping with water with a towel draped around his shoulders. Slithering your hands around his waist as he did yours, you leaned, pouting out your lips for a kiss with him happily obliged. The two of you rested at that moment, deepening the kiss, the feel of his wet hair and damp body pressing up against him. Soon the two of you let go, before walking around to the kitchen. You sat back at your cereal as he walked over to the fridge, pulling out a carton of eggs and milk.
Smiling, “I just had a real bad craving for fruity pebbles.”
He frowned a bit at that, “you only eat that when you're stressed, what’s up?”
Immediately you shook your head, heart dropping at his slightly concerned countenance as he turned towards you, “everything’s fine, I was just really craving fruity pebbles.”
He nodded his head slowly, glancing between you and the bowl in front of you before turning around, and walking towards his stove.
“Still, cereal isn’t a good breakfast so there better be room for something more in there.” Was all he said, pulling out a plastic bowl.
You smiled, gazing at his figure as he moved around the kitchen, preparing scrambled eggs for the both of you. Despite everything, he knew you so well, you couldn't help but think. Every time you found yourself spacing out as you stared at him, your eyes soon fell on your phone, which beeped again with another text notification. Quickly, you reached out, turning your phone on silence before looking back at him.
That can wait, pushing the impending threat out of your mind. You smiled as he mixed the eggs together, pouring in some milk as well to make the scrambled eggs mixture. As he cooked, your eyes raked over his form, staring at him as he moved around to grab things on the counter.
Shouta soon finished teh eggs, placing the perfectly cooked breakfast right in front of you, paired with a silver fork. You smiled at him, slightly pushing away your bowl of cereal before thanking him. He said nothing, grunting before sitting right in front of you. Grabbing the fork, you began to eat, a comforting silence falling over the two of you as well.
That was until the silence was broken, by the sudden vibration on the table. The two of you glanced down at the table, seeing your phone jerk from the vibrations. It was just one before it became two… and soon notifications came through back to back. Quickly, you grabbed your phone, not even glancing at the notification as your phone quickly unlocked. Tapping into your settings you turned ‘vibrations on silence’ off before slamming your phone on the table, focusing back on your food.
“So who was that?”
You glanced up to look at Shouta, who had looked away from your phone towards you. You shook your head, heart pounding within your ears.
“Just some annoying classmate in my chemistry research lab,” you fibbed, looking down at your plate, and taking another bite, “nothing I can’t handle.”
He hummed, focusing back on his food. Unconsciously, you let out an internal sigh, relaxing slightly, and glancing back at your phone. With that, you continued eating your food, forcing yourself to stop looking at your phone.
After breakfast, you helped him grade the last of his papers, lying lazily on the couch as you did so. Soon after, the two of you cuddled on the couch for some old movies, sharing short commentary between the two of you as you did. All while you did that, splayed across the couch, laying your head in his. His one hand resting on your thigh, stroking it slowly as he watched the flat screen tv. ringing in the back of your mind as your phone lay on the counter where you left it for breakfast. Soon, he dozed off once again, his hand falling off your body. Glazing up between him and the area leading to the kitchen, before slowly lifting your body up. You placed his arm slowly on the couch, before walking back to the kitchen. Locking eyes with your cellular device, you picked it up before turning it towards, the screen waking up once you did.
All across your screens were notifications from your messages, all you knew came from the same number. With a deep breath, you unlocked the phone, revealing the messages all over the screen.
I don’t think you want me to do that
That was in reply to the message you had sent him, along with another picture of you and Shouta.
So if you want these to stay hidden, you’ll do the following:
In a week, you’ll go to Bambino’s at 8, and wear exactly what you wore, the first time you went there
Trust me, I’ll know
Here's the name you give the hostess: Hauck.
Aww, where’d you go?
Oh I see
You're with him
Enjoy your time with him
You’re gonna miss it.
A hot tear streamed down your face as you saw the last message, your heart was thrown into anguish. What did he mean by that? Letting out a shaky breath, there was only one thing in your mind to do.
You wrote out a reply,
Fine, I’ll do it.
He had been torturing you all week. You could barely pay attention in class, every few minutes, he would send you another photo. It wouldn’t matter where you are, in class, during a study group, and especially while you were with Shouta. You had placed your phone on silent, turning off all vibrations, and yet it didn’t matter. You relied on your phone for work, for anything, you couldn’t pull out your laptop, every time you needed to reply to a student, or whenever an email from another faculty member needing documents.
However the photos, despite how gut-wrenching they were, weren’t the worst part.
Not only was he sending you those photos of you, but he was also sending these messages.
You look so pretty while wearing blue.
Is that a new bag, did Aizawa get that for you?
And every time he would send these, they would send another picture of you and Shouta as well. They were taunting you, knowing the anxiety flowing through your body. You twirled a twist in your hair, fiddling with your pen as you sat in Shouta’s office, gazing off. It was all silent between the two of you, as you worked separately on your own work, however, you couldn’t do anything, just staring off at your laptop, no words, no nothing coming to mind.
“...ello… hello? Yo!”
A hand suddenly shook you, awakening you from your trance. You jumped, before glancing up before eyes landed on familiar warm golden-brown eyes. Hawks smiled down at you, moving his hand from your shoulder.
“Is everything okay?” He asked you, voice laced with concern.
Twisting on a fake smile, you looked up at him, “I’m fine thank you. Just working on this assignment.”
Hawks glanced between you and your blank word document, before shrugging his shoulders, fluttering around before sitting at the other chair at the table.
“Keigo, how many times have I told you to stop coming to my office like this?” Shouta spoke up from his desk, not even looking up from his desktop.
Hawks smirked, pulling out his phone, and leaning back before speaking, “such a sour worm, Aizawa. Relax a little! Plus I’m finished with all my work, so I came to grace you with my presence.”
You smiled, your heart lifting just a little as the two of them continued to bicker. Their loud voices helped you out a bit, taking in their argument as you focused back on their computer, chiming into their conversation ever so often. You relaxed just a bit, completing your assignment before getting a text from your friend to meet up. You smiled over at the two of them, packing up your things.
Hawks glanced over at you, “hey, where are you going to?”
“My friend, she wants to meet up for a late lunch so I’m headed off to meet her,” you said, sliding your laptop into your tote bag.
Hawks hummed, glancing up and smiling a bit before waving you off. Shouts glanced up from his own laptop, his eyebrows perking up a bit before also giving you a short wave. You eaves back at him, before walking out of the office. As you walked down the hallway, headed towards the elevator, your phone lit up. Heart-stopping for a bit, only to realize the message was from Shouta himself.
Didn’t get to say a proper goodbye because of the nosy bird, but I’ll be sure to give you one before you leave for the night.
You smiled, to the point of your cheeks hurting as you sent a reply before fully focusing on your destination. You soon met up with your friend, the two of you sitting down at a cafe right on campus. The two of you talked, having a wild discussion concerning her own love life and your “lack” of. As the conversation settled down, the two of you soon returned back to your own destination, Shouta’s office in mind for you. As you walked back, your phone lit up again, you hadn't gotten a single text from the stalker since you left his office. So assuming so, you thought this was Shouta, considering you just texted him about if he was still in his office.
You hadn’t smiled all week, love, but I’m glad I got to see it in person once again.
This time, it wasn’t a picture of you and Shouta, but rather a picture of you, walking away from the cafe… A picture of you right now, smile wide as your heart froze, as you glanced around. Looking for something, anything to indicate that you could find the person. People walked past you, walked around your fidgeting figure as you paced around the sidewalk, holding your bag close to you.
Your phone lights up again.
Don’t bother looking, just remember, tomorrow is the day.
Be there, or else.
The dress was pure white, silk in nature too. It was expensive, and one of your most precious gifts from Shouta. As you entered the restaurant, you smiled at the hostess manning the front podium. Your long braids were in a ponytail, with the curled ends tucked up, clipped with a beautiful butterfly clip. You smiled at her.
“Hi, what is the name on the reservation?”
Your mind flashed back to the name revealed in the text messages, one of many you got in the morning.
“Hauck,’ you said, a forced smile on your face.
She glanced down at her tablet, smiling before looking back up at you.
“I see you, your other party has yet to have arrived, would you like to be seated?”
You told her yes, following after her as she led you inside the building. As you passed all the tables, your heart, which was already beating with so much worry, recognized the path on the way to the private rooms. Your intuition was correct as she turned down the hallway, revealing the sliding doors, each adorned with their own numbers. She led you down the room until your eyes set on the familiar number, two with the attached door.
It was the same private room Shouta got you when you came here. Was this person hellbent on recreating the first time you ever came here?
You shook your head, clutching your purse close to you. No. That couldn't be, this had to be a coincidence.
The woman smiled, opening the door and revealing the private room, looking just the same as it did a month ago. You smile at her, thanking her before entering the room. The seats were made of black velvets, comforting, and the ambiance a warm glow, much like an amber-filled sunset. On the table, two glasses sat, one in front of each seat. A bottle of wine caught your attention, soon realized that it was the same brand of wine you and Shouta drank together. As you faced forward, sitting in the very same seat as last time, wearing the very dress that you did so… Everything was the same from that night, everything except for…
Laughter echoed through the room, a glass of wine being shared between two souls, in which nothing else mattered but the two of them.
“Okay, so it wasn’t just me then?”
Shouta shook his head, cheeks warm from the constant flow of wine, “nope, it was not just you. She’s like that with everyone, you’ll get used to it.”
“Get used to it? Yeah, right,” you rolled your eyes, before picking up your glass, and sipping down the rest of your champagne.
Dinner was long done between the two of you, dessert already packed up and ready to be taken out. However, you were waiting for Shouta to feel comfortable enough to drive you two back to the hotel. You probably should have encouraged him to drink as much as he did, even though it was three glasses, you both agreed you’d rather wait. Plus, this room was expensive so you two would make the best of it as much as you could.
“She needs to understand that she can’t treat everyone like that before she makes the wrong person mad.”
The two of you were discussing one of Shouta’s fellow professors, an old head that was recently tenured. While helping Shouta run some errands concerning the anatomy labs before the week-long break, you ran into her and it wasn’t a very pleasant meeting as well.
Shouta chuckled at your words, before drinking down the cold glass of water the waiter had given him. As you drain you stared on, smiling. Once he finished, he looked at you, before asking why you were looking at him like that.
“Playfully rolling your eyes, you reached out to him, “thank you, for this, for today, for everything. I know you were against things like this, but you still did it. Thank you.”
He squeezed your hand before lifting it up, giving it a kiss, “you know I’ll do everything for you.”
“Wow, you really do listen.”
Shattering your memory, your eyes widened at the voice towards the entrance… the familiar voice as well. Slowly turn your head, making eye contact with golden-brown eyes. Glancing up and down his full figure, he was wearing a white shirt, holding his suit jacket in his arms as he stood within the doorway. Your eyes not leaving his form as he thanked the hostess who brought you here before walking inside. The hostess slid the door close, so it was now just the two of you.
Hawks said nothing as he walked over to you, placing his jacket on the backrest of the chair before sliding into the chair. He grabbed the menu sitting in front of you, flipping through it before looking back up at you. He smiled, to others, it was an innocent one, but that smile paired with those eyes, filled with malice.
“Have you looked through the menu yet? Get whatever you want, you know it’s on me.”
You still hadn’t said anything, still looking straight at him, eyes glazed over.
Hawks.
It was Hawks.
Keigo.
The same man who was helping you with your thesis paper. The same man who you would meet up with for coffee, and talk shit about your fellow co-workers. A flash of him in Shouta’s office a couple of days ago came to your mind, his huge smile denoting him. You thought back to every single encounter with him, was it a lie? Was everything about you two’s friendship a lie? What was his problem? How did he even find out? How…
A snap broke you out of your trance, turning and facing Hawk— Keigo once more.
“Everything okay there? You haven’ even touch the wine I had the waiter bring.”
Blinking, you glanced over at the wine glass, which was now filled up halfway. You looked back at him, saw him lean back into his seat, and turned to the seat as he swallowed his own drink down. Sighing, nodding his head as he faced forward, placing his glass down on the table. He took another look at you before sighing and reaching down in his pockets.
“Think it might be best if you take a sip of the wine, it's your favorite right?”
As he said that, something hard fell onto the table. You glanced over to where the sound came from, only to see his phone placed right on the table. Heart pounding as the screen came on… only to find a picture of you and Shouta staring right back at you. Your eyes flicked between him and his phone, before slowly reaching towards the glass, and picking it up. Swirling the wine in your glass, you wafted it towards you, the familiar smell and nothing extra hitting your nose, before taking a tentative sip.
He smiled as you said, “it… it is my favorite, and it’s good. Thank you, Hawks.” Your voice came out a bare whisper, as you began to slowly place it down.
He chuckled, “I know I told you to call me that, but I think a night like this constitutes my real name.”
You blinked, slowly nodding your head, “well, thank you, Keigo.”
He inhaled deeply at that, leaning back as he did so. The waiter soon came into the room, not before giving a knock and Keigo telling him to come in. He asked if the two of you were ready to order. You glanced down at your unopened menu, before looking at the waiter, however, Keigo spoke before you could even think of saying anything.
“Yes, calamari for an appetizer while I’ll have the lobster tail and she will have the surf and turf dinner, everything well done of course.”
You blinked, no words coming from you as the waiter said of course, before taking the menus from in front of the two of you. Even the meals were the same, Shouta had gotten the lobster tails while you wanted to try a bit of everything, so surf and turf were perfect for you. The waiter smiled, saying he’ll be back with your orders before waking out of the private room. The moment he slid the door shut, the two of you turned to each other, looking into each other's eyes. His eyes were lowered, not once leaving you even as he reached out to his nearly empty glass, before downing the rest of it. Your ears were hot, it was taking everything in you right now to now burst out into tears right here in this restaurant. Reaching over, you grabbed the wine glass, drinking down a lot more than your previous sip. He kept his eyes on you as you did so, not saying anything as you suddenly grabbed the bottle, filling up your now empty cup.
“You might want to slow down there, huh?”
You looked over at him, bitter words of anger threatening to spill from your mouth but your eyes fell right back on his phone. You took a deep breath, and another sip of your wine, before placing both right back on the table. He smirked the moment he did that, sitting up straight in his seat.
“So humor me,” he stared, as he leaned into his seat, “for the next two hours this,” he held up his phone, “doesn’t exist.”
You blinked between the device and him. How truly deranged was this man? This man that you trusted, who would help you, who you would call a close friend. If there was someone you would tell about you and Shuta first, it would have been him. Did you ever really know him? He awaited your answer, waving the phone in his hands. You knew, deep down, this wasn’t a question, but a demand, do it, or this email is sent out to everyone that matters. Slowly, you nodded your head, agreeing to his terms.
He smiled at that, before sliding the phone right back into his pocket. The waiter came back, holding a steaming hot plate of fried squid. He placed it between the two of you, along with placing two much smaller ones between the two of you.
“Will that be all between the two of you?”
Keigo pulled out his award-winning smile, “yes that will be it, thank you very much.”
The man smiled and nodded before taking his leave once again, leaving the two of you alone for another 10-15 minutes until your food was ready. As you waited, Keigo easily started a conversation, as if it was one of the times you were getting coffee. No matter how much you tried to lie to yourself, Keigo knew how to bring something out of you. You couldn't help the smile on your face as you relax more and more, the wine he was feeding you, helping your loosening of behavior. You drank more and more, and the food soon came, but yet you two couldn't stop talking, Keigo only interrupting to ask for two glasses of water to help sober the two of you up.
“So out of all the books in the world, Green Eggs and Ham had the biggest impact on you?” You couldn't help but ask, snickering as you took the final bite of your dinner.
He shrugged his shoulders, wiping the drip of garlic butter from his face, “I can’t help it, it truly,” he sighed dramatically, “inspired something in me.”
You snickered, “a children’s story… should have expected it honestly.”
“Glad you think so highly of me.”
The silence soon settled after his words, reaching over to finish the last two of your wine, before reaching over the bottle. Right as your hand is clasped around the neck of the wine glass, a larger hand soon clasped around your wrists. You looked up, looking Keigo right in the eyes as he pulled your hand away from the alcohol, before pulling you up to your feet. Your heart was racing, not fighting him as he pulled you over to him, standing right in front of you. He then pulled you down, his other hand sliding onto your side, dangerously close to our bottom. You tried to pull away but his grip kept you right there, his other hand leaving your own before caressing your skin. You swarmed, wriggling away from his touch but aching pressure had you gasping, keeping you right in place.
“You’re so beautiful,” he mumbled under his breath, his hot breath fanning against your face.
You flinched trying, to move back. Your fingers trembling and anxious as his thumb reaches down to your lips, pressing up against them before slowly pulling your bottom lip down. The light pink gloss on your lips stained his finger, but he ignored it as he continued to gaze at you.
“He doesn’t deserve you,” he said next, his hands sliding up your arm.
“Keigo,” you began to protest but he shushed you, before pulling you right into his lap.
He forced your lips to split around him, resting on each side of the chair. One hand continued to rest on your ass, while his other hand went back up to your face, resting right under your chin. He steeled his hand, forcing you to look into his eyes once again. You let out a shaky breath, unable to look anywhere but his eyes filled with sinister intentions.
“Keigo… What do you want from me?” you whispered to him, eyes welling with tears.
He took a breath, “all I need from you, all I need from you, is to do exactly what I say when I say it. Do that,” his hand suddenly left your bottom before holding right up to your face, suddenly revealing his phone.
“And everything on here stays on here, and nowhere else.”

So if you don't know, Yes this already existed, my old account was deleted (accident but I can tell I won't be getting it back), and am reposting my old x male reader works!
I don't know if I saved all of them but here is one that was saved to my AO3 account.
----------------------------------------------
Hawks x Male reader insert, basically what the prompt says nsfw and sfw moments, a nice sprinkle of angst.
H/n: Hero name
--------------------------------------------------------------------
Mornings like these are the best in your opinion. Sunlight peeking in from the curtains, warming the chilly room just a bit. And there you are with a sleeping Keigo bundled up in feathers and a thick cove, with the knowledge that you both were off today.
You were hesitant to even move from up under him, enjoying the weight of him on your chest. But your stomach insists on being fed…. Ten more minutes.
Slowly you wiggle a bit lower. In the back of your mind you register that you’re both naked. Gently, you skim your fingers down his back and carefully through his feathers.
Eyes hooded and with a small tug of your lips, you breathe in. Yeah, you wouldn’t mind waking up like this from here on out….
Your cute keigo, all messy blond hair and long lashes. His wings laid over them both making it extra cozy. You carefully rub his cheek pleased to see he didn’t forget to clean off his eyeliner and concealer. His cute freckles clear for you to map out with your eyes.
You must not have been as careful as you thought because after that thought you hear Keigo let out a low groan. “y/n it’s too early…” he mumbles, tugging you both to lay on your sides, staring up at you grumpily. Y/n chuckles softly giving his light scowl a kiss, then tilting your head back to let keigo nuzzle your neck.
“Mm sorry, you just looked so cute all relaxed and sleeping on me. Must have really tired you out last night. You slept in for once.” You say smugly causing him to let out a tired laugh, raising an eyebrow feeling him twitch against your thigh.
The thought of last night must have excited him.. Leaning up to look at you, Keigo gives you a slow kiss shifting to sit up and straddle you. “Maybe~ But I’m still feeling needy.”
Nsfw starts (oof):
Sharing mischievous looks Keigo leans down to give you a deep kiss. Happily you kiss back, playfully petting his coverts with your right hand. Loving his whimpers you give them a light tug, chuckling when he bucks his hips and pulls back from the kiss eyes closed in bliss. “Y-y/n!” he gasps out as your left hand moves so your fingers can rub and tease his slightly loose hole.
“Hm?~ are you sore or?” you ask leaning your head up to start kissing down his neck. Feeling keigo’s hands push your chest so he can sit up more hoping to take your fingers in. But you move your hands to grip his hips to keep him still. “Ngghhh! Come on y/n, I’m ready! Still loose and wet from last night.” he says looking down at you hungrily.
You give it a second. Taking your time in kissing and playfully biting his neck and shoulder. Grinning, you feel him start to tremble as you trailed bites down to his chest. Placing a kiss on his collar you lean down to flick your tongue out at his perked nipples, leaving them too the cool air to lay back down and watch Keigo’s face.
Watching his squirm and pout down at you, you chuckle finally sinking in two fingers thrusting them hard and as deep as they could go. “Yes!” Keigo shouts trying to ride your fingers. You watch his slutty display, free hand nudging his legs open to get a full view; your greedy man.
You love seeing him like this, wings trembling and letting out harsh breaths. You felt a deep satisfaction seeing how sensitive he was to your touch, leaning and rocking into it. Sexual or not, nothing got you going as fast as seeing him give himself up to you.
Curling your fingers and listening to Keigo let out needy moans and chirps, you purr in delight feeling heat pool in your gut. “Look at you, we just woke up and your already begging to be fucked stupid. Was last night not enough for you slut?” you slip in a third finger as keigo blushes in embarrassment but you can see his cock twitch with each word.
Flustered Keigo tries to get out a response but can only let out another moan when you thrust all three fingers hard against his prostate, Toes curling and wings jerking up, Keigo shakes his head “It was! J-just nghh, seeing you-.”
He stops semi-hiding his face with his arms, whimpering. Your free hand reaches up to tug some more on his wings. Lightly dragging his nails down your chest, Keigo lets out a desperate shout; pressing down to take your fingers deeper. His eyes roll back as he mews out “C-cumming!!!” His cock twitching and cumming on your stomach.
Milking his orgasm you chuckle when he flops back down on you shaking and letting out wet gasps. Pulling your fingers out you rub his back as he nuzzles you. “Can I?” he mumbles sleepily, reaching down to pet your navel. “Mm later~” you reply using the covers to wipe his cum off of you.
Nsfw ends:
Nodding keigo grumbles as you roll him off you to get up. “I’ll start breakfast, you stay here.” Placing a kiss on his cheek you grin as you slip on some sweatpants hearing Keigo’s disgruntled please to stay in bed. Walking back over, you give him a deep kiss and pull back. “Relax sweetheart, I want to feed you in bed.” You rumble.
Keigo shivers giving you one last pout before yawning and flopping back on the bed. “Fiiiiiine.” leaving the bedroom you smile thinking over what to make. Maybe some pancakes and leftover chicken?
With that in mind you get to work. Your mind running over the last time you made this, making a quick sweet and spicy sauce to glaze the chicken.
It was when you both first started this fuck buddies/roommate thing.
——————————————————-
You noticed him when you first started patrolling on your own. You knew even before interning that Hawks seemed to be a friend of Endeavor. You can still remember how hesitant he was on even letting you do this alone, usually it was the two of you. Thinking it over, you came to the assumption that your grouchy boss sent Hawks to look over you.
Wanting to show off a bit and prove you didn’t need help. You were going to become a Pro here without a single helping hand, even if it started with taking down petty pickpockets.
You paid extra attention to anything sketchy. Taking down some creep trying to mug two girls and giving him to the authority with ease, you huff seeing your shadow was still hovering.
So sharply taking a side step into an alley, you wait till you hear the sound of fluttering wings getting closer before turning with a scowl. “Listen Hawks, if Endeavor sent you to babysit me I’d appreciate it if you didn’t. I’m sure you have better things to do.” You say not even giving him time to greet you.
You were here to make a name for yourself and you were not about to be babied on the first day on the streets.
Hawks blinks, he…didn’t expect this kind of confrontation. Letting out a soft chuckle Hawks raises his hands in a sign of peace. “Easy easy, I uh wasn’t told to babysit. I just wanted to check out the new guy on the street.” he offers, rubbing the back of his neck eyeing you over now that he’s closer.
Feeling embarrassed for blowing up a bit at the guy, you groan and rub mimic him, rubbing the back of your neck. “O-oh sorry…” Looking at each other you both gave a little grin. Hawks offer his hand.
“Well It’s nice to be yelled at by you….” You take his hand and give it a squeeze. “H/n”
It was a bumpy first impression but it didn’t stop either of you from becoming work friends. And as you went from trainee to full time worker, close friends. And before you know it, more.
The sexual tension was kind of there after the first meeting, you were more relaxed after knowing that he wasn’t babysitting you. And then…. Took notice that it was Hawks talking to you, all grins and laid back aura.
He was funny, sweet and cute; but you didn’t think too much on that as you got closer. Sure there were tons of flirting but you both knew it was just for funsies. At least it started that way.
You remember how soft “looking good.” comments turned into “God you look good enough to eat.”. One on One training sessions where one of you would pin the other down more than once and just stay there, panting and full of adrenaline.
How keigo started ‘trying’ out tighter pants, sneaking moments to always press close or lean over whenever you were around. You fell for it each time, either pressing back or coming up behind him loosely holding his hips to help ‘steady’ him.
Things just kept escalating till around midsummer after a particularly rough mission. You found yourself having to use the company’s locker room showers. You didn’t have enough energy to go all the way home right now and you desperately needed to wash off whatever gunk got on you from the villain’s quirk.
You let out a gutted groan at how perfect the hot water on your bruises felt. You weren’t seriously injured, just bruised and smelly. Melting under the water pressure you lean your head back a bit, eyes closed.
“Mh glad to see you’re okay H/n.” A slightly out of breath voice called to you. Startling a bit, You turn to see hawks just as naked as you with the exception of a towel around his waist. Sucking in a quiet breathe, your eyes trailed over wet lean flushed muscles. He must have just finished a bath, that’s the only explanation.
Taking in how distracted you were, Hawks grins and leisurely walks over to you. “H/n?” This felt a bit too intimate compared to other times you’ve checked him out. Your eyes were hooded and didn’t stop itself from drinking in his naked form. Hawks felt a shiver go down his spin as you fully turned to him and tugged at his towel.
“Call me, y/n.”
And it started there, whatever this was. You both didn’t put a name or expectations to it, not until you noticed that he came to you more so than just getting one night stands.
Any time either of you felt pent up you went to each other. Sneaking away to an alley, closets or those rare times on a building top. Of course, it wasn’t all sex.
Just as much you both would meet up to hang and enjoy spending time together. Cuddle up on especially hard days and seeing a new movie you both were into at the time.
And then you guys sorta kind of became roommates? Yeah you didn’t know how that part happened but you weren’t gonna complain about it. It was nice, having someone else living with you in the apartment. You both agreed to call it friends with benefits. Rumi called both of you idiots.
——————————————————————–
Zoning back in you plate the food then let out a sigh hearing someone knock at your door. Walking over and mentally praying it wasn’t the commission, you checked the front door camera. (extra security measure you installed not long ago).
“Y/n I know you’re up!!! I can smell properly cooked food!” Rumi shouts on the other side of the door making you chuckle and quickly unlock it. Glad it was her. “Rumi~ come on can’t I be slow on my day off?” you say as you opened the door and step back to let her in.
Just as you became friends with Hawks you became friends with Rumi. Together you became the chaotic ferals, stressing Hawks out to no end.
She tsks seeing you still in sweatpants and closes the door behind her. “Not when you agreed to go shopping with me today. We need to get some new casual winter wear, remember?”
Inwardly you groaned just barely agreeing to that. A bit occupied with Keigo sucking the soul out of you.
“R-right…”
“Baby bird?”
Aaaand there’s keigo, walking in wearing just your favorite graphic T-shirt. You hummed mildly distracted ogling his strong legs. Behind you Rumi makes a disgusted noise and shoves past to get to the dining table.
Keigo startles seeing her and flustered, tugs down your shirt to try and not accidentally flash her. “Ah uh morning Rumi.” “Morning 8 inches.”
Well… Moving on quickly you clear your throat and usher keigo to the kitchen. Keigo pouts once they have a small bit of privacy. “Y/N….”
You give him a placating smile and offer a plate “I know, I know. I forgot and…"
"We were going today inside together. Alone. With no interruptions.” He cuts through glancing blandly at the kitchen doorway. You sigh leaning down to kiss the top of his head. “Mmh I can tell her-”
“Ugh, when’s the wedding you two,” Rumi says as she suddenly comes in. She makes her way over to the food sitting out and makes herself a plate.

tags: mihawk's daughter!reader, female reader, canon-typical violence, cursing, no use of 'y/n', pet names per mihawk ('dear', 'darling', 'sweetheart', 'little hawk'), emotional hurt/comfort, sexual harassment (from nameless OC), slow burn
author’s note: finally she's here! i'm posting it spaced out because i don't want to overload you all with a 23.6k fic in one post... IMPORTANT NOTE: i did some research from the animanga for mihawk's personality, weapons, and home, but this is still very much only a fic for OPLA and not the other iterations of the material.
the fic is not exactly only a romance; it focuses a lot on the reader's personal character development along with her relationship with mihawk too. i hope you guys don't mind! i kind of lost the plot lol.
reader is mihawk's biological daughter, but is stated to take after her mother and doesn't bear similarity to mihawk. so the fic is poc reader friendly!
Your dad was late to dinner again.
To be fair, Dracule Mihawk didn’t exactly follow a schedule. He was fickle—back when you’d been a girl, he’d been around all the time, because although he was a lot of things, Mihawk was not an absentee parent. But as you’d grown older, he started being less strict, leaving you alone for days and weeks until you’d finally matured into an adult. Mihawk spent most of his time away from the house, now—but you agreed to have dinner together every week, no matter what part of the ocean he was in.
And he was late.
You’d started cooking the meal early, only for Mihawk to not show up when everything was ready. Or after everything was ready. Or even when everything had cooled, and you’d eaten your fill, and waited in your chair for him to arrive. He finally showed up a quarter past two in the morning, the doors of the dining room bursting open to announce his entrance.
You cracked an eye open from where you’d been dozing in your seat. “You’re late.”
“I’m sorry, darling,” Mihawk said, taking his hat off and bowing with a flourish. He pressed a kiss to the back of your hand. “I got a little busy. Garp had me deal with a pirate in the East Blue.”
You made a face at him as he sat down to eat. “Could’ve at least let me know. Den den mushi exist for a reason.”
“Ah, well, my apologies.” Mihawk sighed, dramatic as ever—you couldn’t find it in you to be mad at him for more than a few minutes, though, something he knew well. “It would’ve gone quickly had some upstart not challenged me to a duel. So I had to spend the night.” He tsked, clicking his tongue against the roof of his mouth. “And then I went to visit an old friend. Red-haired Shanks.”
“I remember him.” You got up from your seat, moving to the kitchen to rifle in the icebox for a popsicle. “Another duel? What’s this week’s body count?”
“You know I don’t tally such trifling matters, sweetheart,” Mihawk said. You shrugged, leaning against the doorway of the kitchen to watch him start eating. “This pasta is cold.”
“Wasn’t cold four hours ago,” you said, languidly licking at your popsicle. “No sympathy here, dad.”
“Fine,” Mihawk said. “Anyway, I don’t suppose you’ve ever heard of the man. Tall, green hair, three swords.” He wrinkled his nose. “Said people called him the Demon.”
“Roronoa Zoro,” you affirmed, slipping into the chair beside your father. “Scariest pirate hunter in the East Blue. You killed him?”
“Clearly not much of a pirate hunter, considering he’s a pirate now,” Mihawk said, the scrape of his knife and fork ringing around the room. “Joined the man I Garp sent me after, this little boy in a straw hat. And no. I let him and his crew go.”
You paused, voice faltering as you registered the words. “You let him live?”
“Yes. He was rather interesting. I expect he’ll come find me later,” Mihawk answered. You stared at him, still baffled. Your father was a lot of things, but a man of mercy was not one of them. Your earliest memory of him exacting his power over others was when you’d been two, watching from your crib as he speared the nanny for calling you a brat. A touching gesture, for certain, but still. “But enough about work. How have you been, little hawk?”
“Bored,” you said with a sigh. “It’s so dull on this island.”
Mihawk looked amused. “You could leave. I’m not restricting you here anymore.” Back in your teen years, Mihawk hadn’t let you leave the house—something about enemies wanting to kill his daughter or whatever else nonsense. He’d trained you personally, though, so you were nearly as fearsome as your father—able to beat anyone in combat in the blink of an eye. “You don’t have to stay.”
“The house would get all dusty,” you protested, lips tugging into a line. And it wasn’t like you hadn’t done any exploring. Mihawk had taken you to all four seas throughout your adolescence, and you’d taken vacations to everywhere of importance. You just—didn’t have much of a point to leave, really. You very much preferred not to, something tying you firmly to the island, to your castle. “And besides, where would I even go?”
“I hear the East Blue is interesting this time of year,” Mihawk said. “You could venture around here, but…” He shrugged. “The Grand Line is dangerous.”
You made a face. “I’ve lived here my entire life. I can take care of myself.”
“Certainly,” Mihawk agreed easily. “But it’s simply not worth it. You really should get out more, dear. It’s not good for your health.”
“Maybe,” you said, but you weren’t very enthusiastic about it. “Here, I’ll clean Yoru for you while you finish eating.” You moved around the back of his chair, lifting his sword off the jacket he hadn’t bothered to shed from his back. You grimaced upon seeing a line of dried blood along the blade. “Dad.”
“Sorry, dear,” Mihawk said, and you rolled your eyes, carrying the sword over to the living room. You set Yoru down with a heavy thud, pulling out a box of materials. Mihawk came over to watch you, one arm propped against the doorway as his aureate eyes gazed down as you worked.
Compared to your dad, you looked relatively normal. You’d always taken after your mother—a mysterious woman you barely had any memories of—and the relation between the two of you was never immediately obvious. The fact your eyes were plainly normal instead of bearing the golden hawk eyes Mihawk had was another factor added to that, too.
You pulled out a bottle of oil, pouring it generously over Yoru’s blade before grabbing a cloth to carefully wipe it with. “Where in the East Blue?” you asked abruptly, not looking up. Mihawk’s fork clinked along the ceramic of his bowl, presumably surprised you’d actually consider the offer of leaving.
“Well, I could send you out to run some errands if you wish. I’ve got some things to attend to,” Mihawk optioned. “There’s this one store in Loguetown with a rather nice jacket I’ve had my eye on.”
You shot him a disbelieving look. “You want me to go to the East Blue to buy you a jacket.”
Mihawk shrugged. “My birthday’s coming up.”
“No, it’s not.” You slid your rag along the edge of Yoru’s blade, folding it in half before wiping the entire thing again to ensure there was no grime left. “Finished. Maybe I’ll just stay—”
Mihawk gave you a look.
“Fine. Loguetown it is,” you said with a sigh. “Don’t give me a crew. I’ll just take one of the sloops. I’ll get your dumb jacket for you.” You got up, tossing the cloth over a shoulder to hand wash later. “I’ll leave later today.”
Mihawk clicked his tongue. “You’re so enthusiastic, darling. I can practically see the excitement oozing off of you.”
You rolled your eyes, moving past him to go up to your room. “Short trip,” you said. “No more than a couple of days.”
“The little hawk, so incited to leave the nest.”
“Shut up.”
Mihawk had complied with your wishes, as when you woke up the next morning, he had already prepared a sloop for you to board alone. You packed some of your things, not being too fussy about the clothing or other objects, knowing that the boat was already well-stocked on its own. Mihawk waited to send you off, though you knew he probably had affairs to attend to by now.
“Be good, darling,” he said, while you were loading up the last of your stuff. Just like your father, you preferred to wear your sword on your back; a present he’d given you at the age of thirteen. “I’ll call you. I’ve got business in the South Blue.”
“Have fun,” you said, and he kissed the back of your hand before pushing you off.
Loguetown was just how you’d remembered it, buzzing with civilians and pirates alike. The stores were plentiful, and filled to the brim with customers—it was all a little overwhelming compared to the peace and quiet you were used to. Still, it wasn’t a bad place to stay for a few weeks, and you might as well take your time there.
You slung your coat on as you exited the docks, glancing around the town in search of something to do first. Since you weren’t especially interested in retrieving a jacket for your father just yet, you beelined to the nearest tavern to grab something to eat. It was a lot easier traveling without Mihawk at your side—as much as you loved him, he had the habit of attracting both trouble and fear wherever he went, and he was near impossible to go out with.
The tavern was full, but not too crowded, and you managed to slip over to the bar without much trouble. It seemed to mostly consist of pirates—rough men with flowing jackets and holsters of guns and swords at their hip, clustered together in groupings that clearly proved their alliances with each other. You were one of the only patrons who was alone.
You gestured for the barkeep, and she bustled over from where she was serving a particularly ragtag group of pirates. They were mismatched, colors oddly paired—a girl with neon orange hair, a short man with a straw hat, one wearing a flowery shirt and goggles and the last man dressed in clothes far too formal for a bar. “What can I get for you?” she asked, a thick brogue dragging down her words.
You told her your drink order, still eyeing the group. The barkeep followed your vision and let out a sigh. “Don’t bother. Three men have already tried to capture him for the bounty. Broke half my furniture. And we got a rule here, anyway—no fightin’.”
“Does he have a bounty?” you asked with a frown. She scoffed.
“Does he ever. Thirty million berry, child. Highest in the East Blue.” She shook her head. “That crew won’t let anyone touch ‘im. Hell, I think his first mate’s still outside cleaning up the bodies.” She sighed again. “Well, I’ll have that drink out for you in a moment.”
You nodded, slipping into the closest available chair. Now that you were paying attention, you could see practically every pair of eyes fixed on the group—specifically, on the man in the center wearing the straw hat.
Before you could ask another question, the door to the tavern opened, and a lean, green-haired man filled the doorway. You glanced over at the barkeep, a flash of recognition in your eyes. “That’s Roronoa Zoro.”
“Aye,” she said, setting your drink in front of you. “If there’s someone who might be able to cash in that bounty, it’d be him. But believe it or not, he’s with the Straw Hat.”
You watched as the pirate hunter made his way to the table the others sat at. The glint of his famed three earrings reflected off the tavern lights, and the sword on his hip swayed as he walked—but there was only one rather than the three you’d heard tales about. “Yeah, my father said something of the sort.”
The barkeep hummed, turning to attend to a pirate who’d taken a seat at your left. “And who’s your father, lass?”
“Dracule Mihawk.”
The pirate beside you raised his head, turning towards you in almost alarm. Beside him, his crew quieted, and the barkeep glanced up to meet your eyes. “Dracule Mihawk?” she repeated incredulously.
“He sent me to buy him a coat,” you said. “I don’t suppose you know where any shops are around here?”
“Er, there’s a shop off main you might want to see,” the barkeep said, eyes flickering over to the pirate crew that had changed their focus to you. “Anything else for you, then?”
“I’m good, thanks,” you said, taking another sip of your drink. She nodded, leaving the bar in favor of moving over to another table. The pirate beside you turned slowly, stool scraping against the floor as he sneered down at you.
“Dracule Mihawk’s daughter, eh?” he asked. “Care if I buy you a drink?” Behind him, the rest of his crew tittered. You just sighed.
“Sorry, my father doesn’t let me go out with anyone who hasn’t bested me in combat.” You knocked back the rest of your drink, glancing up and down the pirate’s figure. He didn’t look like much—two pistols strapped to the hip, a longsword on the other, a raggedy leather jacket with a hat to match.
The pirate scoffed. “Please,” he said, though you could see his skin turning rapidly crimson. “I doubt you’re even related to him. No hawk eyes or nothing.”
You met his gaze, lips tightening into a line. “I take after my mother.”
“Biggest lie I ever heard, aye, crew?” The pirate turned back towards the rest of his men, and they cheered in agreement. You huffed out a sigh, trying your very best not to turn combative—despite everything, you were proud of your relationship with your father, and anyone trying to call you a liar for your lineage just left you vexed and angry. Before you could step away, though, the pirate turned towards the rest of the tavern, apparently having had a bit too much liquor. He raised his voice, practically yelling now. “Oi! This girl thinks she’s the daughter of Dracule Mihawk!”
Out of your peripheral vision, you saw Roronoa Zoro look up, the rest of his crew glancing over at you at the words. You were distracted within a second, the pirate shoving your arm. “Hey, don’t look away, girl. I’m trying to—”
You grabbed onto his wrist, nails razor-sharp as they embedded into his skin. “Don’t touch me.”
“Oh, you think you’re tough, do you?” The pirate yanked his hand out of your grip. “Did your daddy teach you how to fight, huh? Think you can beat me?”
“I know I can beat you,” you answered. The pirate reached for his sword, then, fingers tightening around the hilt.
“Alright, let’s make it a bet then. You beat me, I believe your claim about being Mihawk’s daughter.” His lips curled back into an ugly sneer, and you debated stepping out of the conversation and just going off to find that shop for your dad’s coat anyway. Fights like these were never worth getting into, and you really didn’t want to break any more of the barkeep’s furniture after she’d let out her annoyances to you.
Before you could, though, the pirate opened his big mouth once again.
“I beat you, and you go to bed with me.”
You were whipping your sword out before you could even think, red flashing in your vision as you scraped your blade out from the holster on your back. The metal gleamed under the lights, white steel bright as day as you leveled it in your hand. It wasn’t the largest weapon, a perfectly balanced cut-and-thrust spadroon with a golden hilt wrapped in white ribbon. You tightened your grip on the handle.
“I beat you,” you hissed, voice low, “and you’re dead.”
He lunged for you, pulling his sword out in one solid stroke and meeting yours in a loud clang. You shot an apologetic look towards the barkeep, spinning on your back leg and kicking the pirate away. The force caused him to stumble, sword skittering to the side as you shoved it off your blade.
One of his crew members had cocked a gun to your head, and you spun your swords toward him, blade cutting through the metal like it was butter. The rest of the crew stepped back, one or two of them lunging for you. You parried all of their attacks, shoving them to the ground until they stopped trying to fight.
The captain had gotten up, a fierce snarl upon his face as you slammed your blade down towards him. He blocked it with his sword, and then went for various attacks towards your figure—you dodged each one of them, parrying them easily as you moved backwards. At the last one, you used your weight to buck the sword back in his direction, and he stumbled again.
You ducked down, sweeping him off his feet with a well-aimed kick to his shins, and he fell, sword clattering out of reach as he dropped flat on his back. You towered over him, pointing the edge of your blade at his throat.
“You want me to go outside to kill him?” you asked. The barkeep sighed.
“If you don’t mind, lass.”
“Not at all.” You bent over, grabbing firmly onto the pirate’s shirt and yanking him upwards. His crew made a move towards you, but you just shoved your sword in their direction, and they stepped away. You spun your sword’s hilt around in your hand with a flourish, then started dragging the captain out the tavern door.
“No—wait—let me go,” the pirate begged, once you dropped him to the gravel outside and moved your sword to his throat again. “I’m sorry. I didn’t—I didn’t mean it—you’re a pretty girl, that’s all—”
“I don’t date men who can’t beat me in combat,” you said coolly. “Lower your expectations.” With that, you spun your sword again, sliding it back on the holster of your jacket. “I’ll let you live just this once. If you ever make any comments towards a woman again—”
“I get it. I’m sorry,” the man said, scrambling to his feet. You just eyed him.
“I need another drink.”
The tavern was dead silent when you returned to your seat, gingerly sitting back down on the stool you’d first occupied. “Another drink, if you don’t mind,” you said to the barkeep, and she nodded. A moment passed as she filled your mug, and then she asked—
“Is Dracule Mihawk really your father?”
“Unfortunately,” you muttered, taking the drink she offered and taking a swig. Out of the corner of your eye, you could see the Straw Hat pirate and his crew muttering amongst themselves. One of them nudged Roronoa Zoro in the side, and he grimaced, the loose shirt he wore parting with the motion. You caught a glimpse of bandages, wound tight with blood seeping through a familiar line. Yoru’s doing.
Zoro stood up, making his way over to the bar beside you. He propped his elbows on the table, but he didn’t sit, nodding at the barkeep. “Another round for my friends,” he said. His voice was quieter than you’d expected; a low mutter and almost soft in timbre. He glanced over at you, eyes flickering down and up again before he spoke. “I tried to kill your father.”
“Yeah, he told me,” you said. “Roronoa Zoro. What happened to your other two swords?”
Zoro scoffed. “Your dad.”
“He can be a little dramatic sometimes,” you said apologetically. He glanced over you again.
“You don’t look much like him.” He paused. “Figured I’d know if Mihawk had a daughter.”
“I take after my mother, and he’s very overprotective,” you said, getting just the slightest bit annoyed about everyone questioning your parentage. The barkeep returned then, sliding five beers across the table over to Zoro, and you stood up. “Now if you’d excuse me, I have some shopping to do.”
You exited the tavern after paying your tab, wandering around the streets of Loguetown to find the closest clothing store. Your father’s style was ridiculously grand, so it’d be something in the nicer branch of the city—you had just entered your best guess when you pulled out a shell phone, pushing the little snail into your ear and calling your father’s number.
He picked up on the first ring. “What is it, darling?”
“Did you have a specific coat in mind?” You glanced through a row of black leather, trying to find one that’d match Mihawk’s liking. “I’m at this place called Lady Tide’s Dressing Boutique. It’s the bougiest place I could find.”
“Lady Tide’s would be correct,” Mihawk said. “I trust your taste. Pick something I’d like.”
“You better be paying me back for this,” you threatened, turning the corner as you spoke. You jumped back in surprise, letting out a squeak as the Straw Hat pirate from before appeared right in front of you, a grin stretching up his face.
Mihawk’s laugh crackled through the line at your surprise. “Get startled, dear?”
“The pirate Garp sent you after is stalking me,” you deadpanned. The Straw Hat pirate’s grin only widened. “I’ll call you back.”
You hung up, taking the den den mushi out of your ear and back into its case. “What?”
“You’re a really good fighter,” the Straw Hat said brightly. “I’m Monkey D. Luffy, and I’m going to be King of the Pirates. You should think about joining my crew!”
“I—” you stared at him in disbelief, mind reeling from the whiplash of his words. “Thanks for the offer, but I’m not a pirate.”
Luffy tilted his head to the side in question. “But your dad is Mihawk.”
“That doesn’t make me a pirate. I just stay at home for the most part,” you said. Luffy continued following you around the store, however, even as you stepped past him to browse more jackets. You glimpsed the rest of his crew hanging around the store, though none seemed to do any actual shopping. You figured Lady Tide’s was probably out of their price range. “Why are you still following me?”
“I think you should join my crew,” Luffy repeated. “Have you ever been to the Grand Line? That’s where we’re headed next.”
You gave him a look. “I live in the Grand Line.”
“Whoa,” Luffy breathed. “Well, you must know all about it, then!”
You turned away from him, picking a jacket off the rack in front of you and appraising it. Golden buttons, long tailcoat, wide lapels—not really Mihawk’s taste. You set it back. “Not really,” you finally answered. “Like I said, I stay at home for the most part. Haven’t done much exploring.”
“Don’t you want to?” Luffy asked, taking a step closer to you. You flinched. “Your dad’s one of the Seven Warlords of the Sea! You should be going out and adventuring, not just staying at home and doing whatever Mihawk tells you to!”
“Don’t,” you snapped, voice low. “I stay home because I want to. Not because my dad forces me to.” Your words bore no lie, but still, there was a rumble of uncertainty deep in your gut. Mihawk had always been supportive, but pirating had always been his thing. You preferred the solace of your own home, and there was no point in adventuring when Mihawk had seen it all before.
“I’m just saying, what do you even do all day?” Luffy asked with a quirk of the lip. “Stay home and clean? Go out once in a while to buy groceries or get stuff for your dad?” He gestured at the coat you were holding, and you flushed, shoving it back onto the rack. “Isn’t it boring? Don’t you want more than such an average life?”
“I’m perfectly happy with my life right now, thank you,” you snapped. “Go preach to someone else.”
Luffy had stopped walking, then, looking at you with an almost sympathetic expression on his face. “Living isn’t the same as thriving, you know,” he said. “You should go out. Find adventure. Aren’t there things you want to know? Questions you want answered?”
“Luffy.” You turned to see Roronoa Zoro move to his captain’s side, head dipping as he spoke to him. His tone was quiet, but you could still overhear— “Leave her alone. We’ve got business.”
Luffy looked dejected at that, but he agreed, bowing his head towards you before turning to the rest of his crew. They’d gathered by the mouth of the store, engaged in their own various activities as they waited. You watched Luffy turn to leave, words climbing up your throat even as you tried to swallow them down. “Wait!”
Luffy turned, that bright smile reappearing on his face. “What?”
“I want to know one thing,” you said, taking a step closer to the captain and his first mate. You glanced up at Zoro, who met your gaze. His face seemed carved of steel, skin bearing no grimace, eyes betraying nothing. “Why did my father let you live?”
Zoro looked away, and you realized he probably didn’t know the answer himself. Before you could speak again, though, Luffy interrupted.
“Because Zoro’s the best,” he declared, capturing your attention away from the injured swordsman. He slapped Zoro’s bicep with a heavy thud, and you were surprised when the other man didn’t even flinch. “And he’s gonna be better than Mihawk one day. He’s going to defeat him in a duel and take his title and become—”
“The world’s greatest swordsman,” Zoro finished. The words were muttered under his breath, clearly to himself rather than intending for you to hear.
You watched them for a moment before finally turning away. “Okay,” you said. “Good luck with that.”
Luffy stared at you for a moment longer, but Zoro was already turning away and walking towards the rest of the crew. There was an unsettling feeling in your gut, one you tried to squash. Whatever—you had better things to do than worry about some Straw Hat pirate and a retired pirate hunter.
You returned to your browsing, looking through various jacket designs until you finally fell across one you were certain your father liked. It was ridiculously expensive, but your father’s taste had always been so—you purchased it without a second thought, slinging it across a shoulder and returning to your sloop for the rest of the day.
To your great disappointment, the Straw Hat pirate’s words continued to echo throughout your head. His demeanor was off-putting, to say the least—the extreme amounts of candor and cheeriness he had made for a disorienting combination. Even as you tried to stop thinking about his terrifyingly honest words, you couldn’t. Don’t you want more than such an average life?
You sighed, mood irritable from the day's events. You’d returned to your sloop and hadn’t done much of anything for a few hours—past having a meal and cleaning up your boat, there was nothing to do. You mulled over your options, wondering if you shouldn’t just start the journey back home. But Luffy’s words came back to you.
“I need a drink,” you muttered, donning your coat and leaving to attend the first bar you could find.
You went someplace ritzy this time, near the peak of Loguetown where neon lights glimmered in the dark hour. It was crowded, and music blasted through the bar, pounding bass nearly making the floor reverberate. You slipped inside without much trouble, squeezing through the crowd and making way for the bar at the other end of the room.
You bought yourself a drink, knocking it back in just a few gulps. There were marines patrolling around in the building, although none of them seemed too keen on completing any of their duties. Pirates walked around freely too, but these ones were more dignified than the ones you’d seen in the tavern at town.
“You hear Straw Hat Luffy’s here at Loguetown right now?” someone muttered to your right. You glanced over with a furtive gaze to see who was speaking—two men, dressed in fine silks and coats. Swords dangled from their hips. Pirates, maybe, or pirate hunters. “His ship’s docked over by south port.”
“You’re not going to try and nab him, are you?” the other pirate hunter asked, fingers pinched around a thin glass of something. “That bounty’s hefty, but fighting them’ll be…”
“I’m getting a bunch of hunters together,” the first one said. “We’ll split the bounty. At midnight, once the whole crew’s asleep. I followed the navigator; seems they’re not leaving until the morning.”
“Thirty million split between many isn’t much.”
“Well.” The hunter made a vague gesture, a smirk playing at his lips. “I doubt we’ll all be alive by the end of the night, if you know what I mean.”
“Right.” The second hunter downed the rest of his drink. “I’ll be there. Where’s the rendezvous point?”
“Slip forty at south port. Come at midnight,” the first one replied. “My boat. Theirs is at fifty-two.”
You turned away, knocking back the last of your drink before setting the glass back down on the counter. Your mind reeled, and you pulled out a pocket watch to check the time. Nearly eleven. Only an hour left.
“Another drink,” you called, but you stopped after that one. Logically, you knew the Straw Hat crew would be able to handle themselves. Your father wouldn’t have let Zoro go had he not been an impressive fighter—and Luffy certainly had to have some tricks up his sleeve, having such a high bounty and all. But an ambush was an ambush.
You needed to go home.
You paid your bill and slunk outside, taking the long road down to the port. You were docked in the east, but you found yourself wandering towards south port, hands shoved in your pockets and sword heavy on your back.
There was no logical reason to get involved with pirates, you tried to tell yourself. That was Dracule Mihawk’s area of expertise. That was Dracule Mihawk’s life. Not his daughter’s. You were not a pirate—there was no point in being one. Mihawk has done everything already.
You stepped onto the pier of south port, the wooden ramp trembling under your feet. They were shoddily constructed; oak on water, with pegs every few feet or so and ropes thrown casually across the walkways. It was overcrowded with boats, too—ships of every kind and size, smushed into spots not big enough for them depending on how much you paid the dock men. The moon shimmered on the surface of the East Blue. She was calm today, waves lapping at the edges of the docks, tranquil in the night.
You checked your watch again. Nearly midnight.
Dock forty moored a relatively small ship, but it was crowded with men—ten or fifteen, maybe, and you knew they’d be killing each other when the fight was through. Thirty million berry divided between so many people was barely worth it. You slunk past them, counting the numbers of the boat berths.
You knew the boat before you looked at the slip number based on appearance alone. It was large in size, a caravel sporting a gigantic goat figurehead. You stared at it, brows furrowed, jaw slack. Well, it was certainly a ship. There was a large sail boasting the ship’s jolly roger—a crudely designed skull and crossbones sporting the same straw hat their captain wore.
With a sigh, you pulled yourself onboard, careful to not make a sound as you landed on the deck. It was quiet, but you doubted the crew didn’t have at least one lookout for trouble. You tiptoed around the mast, moving towards the foredeck.
You were just about to step a foot on the staircase when a gleaming katana came to your throat.
“What are you doing here?”
Roronoa Zoro was as calm as ever as he held a blade to your jugular, posture perfectly straight, eyes tilted in your direction. You glanced down at the blade, registering the smooth metal. It was the white-handled one; upon seeing it closer, you could better register its quality. It must’ve been insanely durable, more so than his other blades considering Yoru hadn’t shattered this one in battle—one of the strongest blades in the world.
“What’s the sword’s name?” you asked.
Zoro ignored your question. “What are you doing here?” he repeated.
You sighed, turning towards him, although you were careful not to touch the sword. Zoro’s grip didn’t budge. “There are pirate hunters coming here,” you answered. “At midnight. An ambush.”
Zoro still didn’t move. The night sky cast his entire face in shadow, the only light on board being a trembling lantern by the interior doors. You could just barely see the gleam of one eye, yellow light shining on his cheekbone. “Why would you come?”
“Honestly, I don’t know,” you answered coolly. “My father let you go for a reason. It’d be a shame if you died before you realized why.” It was an easy lie—because the real reason was one you didn’t want to think about. Because Luffy’s words struck something in you. Because they rang true.
“We don’t need your protection.”
You shrugged, only one shoulder moving upwards before relaxing again. “Just a friendly warning.”
Carefully, Zoro lowered his blade, the steel scraping along the edge of its scabbard opening before he slid it closed. “The Wado Ichimonji.”
Your eyes were still on the sheathed katana. “Hm?”
“The sword. Its name is Wado Ichimonji.”
You tilted your head back, angling it towards the sword strapped to your jacket. “Hiru,” you said. “That’s mine.”
“Day,” Zoro translated. “You have matching swords with your father?”
“Just matching names,” you answered. “It’s a spadroon, not a kreigsmesser. Much smaller than Yoru. Birthday present. When I was thirteen.”
Zoro eyed you. “I’ll wake the rest of the crew,” he said. “You can go.”
You made no move to, consulting your watch as Zoro rang the ship’s bell. Five minutes to midnight. You could already hear the near-noiseless patter of footsteps on the pier.
The orange-haired woman was the first out, fingers wrapped around a short wooden rod. She exchanged a look with Zoro, and he nodded towards the pier. She somehow knew exactly what he meant from that, dodging back inside the ship and returning, dragging a dark-haired man out.
“Uh, what’s going on?” the man asked, stifling a yawn as he fiddled with a slingshot. Both Zoro and the woman shushed him. “Jeez, okay.” He noticed you then. “Oh, hey, you’re the hawk dude’s kid—”
“Shut up, Usopp,” the woman snapped. She’d moved by the boat’s side, ducked under the rim. The footsteps were getting louder.
The blond man came out next, hands shoved casually in his pockets and dressed in clothes you genuinely did not think functioned as sleepwear. “Hunters,” the orange-haired woman said. “Ambush.”
“Isn’t that lovely,” the blond man murmured. He caught your eye, and a smile lit up his face. “Well, hello there.”
Both Zoro and the woman rolled their eyes. Before the blond could say anything more, though, the hunters’ footsteps abruptly stopped.
The orange-haired woman spun up from her crouch, wooden stick extending into a long staff as she whipped it out. She slammed one end of the staff into an incoming hunter’s gut as he leapt aboard the ship, forcing him off the side of the vessel.
Everything happened all at once, then—you heard the slick shing! of Zoro unsheathing his katana, and the blond was up and running towards another gaggle of hunters within the second, legs flying in an assortment of well-placed kicks.
You reached over your shoulder, tugging Hiru out of its straps. The blade shone bright under the moonlight, and you caught an incoming hunter’s sword with the lick of it, shoving him backwards as you spun.
“Why’s Mihawk’s girl here?” the blond called, as he slid across the deck, leg raising up into a spinning hook. “Not that I’m complaining, of course. Pleased to make your acquaintance.” He met your eyes and winked, leaving you staring in utter disbelief until another hunter distracted you. “I’m Sanji!”
“Okay?” you asked blankly, letting out a huff of exertion as you whipped your sword toward the hunter. He’d pulled out one of his guns, wielding his blade one-handed as he fumbled with the trigger. You breathed in, recalling your father’s words from the thousands of hours spent training. Take advantage of any imbalances, sweetheart. Focus on the center of gravity.
You aimed a sliding kick at the man’s gun, using Hiru to push against his blade. The pressure caused him to fling halfway across the ship, body thudding against the mast before falling to the ground in a heap.
“Impressive,” Sanji whistled from his spot across the ship.
“Shut up,” Zoro and the orange-haired woman said in unison. Zoro was beside the fallen hunter in a second, katana slashing cleanly through his torso before he spun and shoved the blade straight into an incoming man’s stomach. Sanji just scoffed.
“Show-off,” he said accusatively. Zoro rolled his eyes, turning towards Sanji to argue, when you glimpsed someone at his back. You lunged for the man, sword cutting cleanly through his jugular before he fell across the deck, decollated.
Zoro turned, glancing over his shoulder at the body and then up at you. “You’re welcome,” you said, flicking Hiru to the side. Spatters of blood dripped off its blade.
“...Right.” The number of hunters had considerably thinned, only three or four left. The orange-haired woman was still fighting two of them, placing hits of her bo staff along two mens’ skulls. Usopp had crouched by the forecastle, firing pellets off with his slingshot. Sanji dusted off the final two men, until only the ringleader was left.
“Wait, wait.” The hunter backed away until he ran into the ship’s railing. He scrambled for his pistol, but as Zoro, Sanji, and the orange-haired woman advanced on him, apparently realized the idea was in vain. “We—we can talk about this.”
“I don’t think we can.” You turned at the new voice, watching as Luffy slipped out from the captain’s chambers. His hand came up to adjust his hat, crowned atop his head as always. “You came aboard my ship and tried to hurt my friends.”
The hunter’s jaw fell slack, mouth drying over as Luffy came to stand in front of him. The rest of the crew had parted to allow him space, and Luffy titled his head up, the lick of light from the lantern shining against his skin. A crescent-shaped scar under his eye glowed bright, the skin paler than the rest of his face.
“Gum gum…” he started, voice steadily rising in volume as he extended his hand backwards, fingers curled into a fist. To your surprise, his arm just kept stretching back, limb getting longer and longer with a distinctly rubbery stretch until it was all the way at the other side of the ship. “Pistol!”
His arm snapped back all in one, knocking the hunter straight in the jaw and shoving him off the ship in one, devastating blow. You stared at his flailing body, watching as he dropped straight into the ocean ten or so meters away with a loud plop.
You turned towards Luffy, one brow arched in question. “You’re a Devil Fruit eater?”
“The Gum Gum fruit,” Luffy said brightly. He adjusted his hat once more, fixing it atop his head before reaching an arm out to pat you on the shoulder. “Thank you for warning us. You’re a good person.”
“Don’t mention it.” You glanced down at Hiru. “Have anything I can clean my blade with?”
“Sure! Let Sanji cook you something while you’re here,” Luffy said. “It’s the least we can do.”
“Of course,” Sanji said with a little bow. “What would you like? Name anything and I’ll make it.”
You eyed him. “…Anything.”
Sanji let out an exaggerated sigh. “So uninspired. Meet you in the kitchen, then. We can leave the mosshead to clean up the bodies.”
The orange-haired woman just rolled her eyes. “I’m going back to bed,” she declared. She glanced over at you, appraising you in one solid sweep up and down your body. “I’m Nami.”
With that final word, she departed, snapping closed her staff and slipping back into the boat. Luffy, Usopp, and Sanji shuffled into the boat, presumably the kitchen. Zoro just sighed, setting his katana to the side to start cleaning up the corpses left after the battle.
You made no move to follow the others inside, watching as Zoro easily lifted up one of the hunters. The lines of his biceps strained as he climbed off the ship, still hefting the body before finally placing it down on the pier.
“Just toss them into the ocean,” you called. Zoro glanced over his shoulder, registering you standing there. He picked another body up.
“I don’t want to block our slip,” he answered.
“Fair enough. Any oil around here?” You wandered to the ship’s side, glancing through the boxes fixed to the deck. Zoro gestured in some direction that harmed more than it helped, really, but you dug through some boxes before unearthing something you could clean Hiru with.
You worked in silence, slicking the blade with the oil and rubbing off all the blood and mess that had gotten onto it. Zoro was quick, piling up all the corpses and barely-alive bodies by the dock. He shoved a few of them awake with his boot. “Go find a doctor,” you heard him mutter under his breath. You suppressed a laugh.
Eventually, Zoro climbed back on board, searching for his sword only to find it in your hands. You carefully polished off the last of the blade, then presented it to him. “You’re welcome.”
“…Thanks,” Zoro said, sheathing it in one smooth swipe.
“The cut,” you said, glancing down at his torso again. His shirt was covering the bandages, but you knew they were still there. “It was Yoru that did it. Not Kogatana.”
“The big one, yeah,” Zoro answered. You watched him thoughtfully, although you didn’t say a word. He seemed to get impatient by that, and was speaking just a moment afterwards— “Why?”
You gave a quick shake of your head. “Nothing,” you answered, the lie slipping easily off your tongue. But your mind churned with thoughts, the mere brain activity making your stomach curdle. It hadn’t clicked before, but now—your father didn’t use Yoru on anyone who wasn’t worthy. And letting Zoro live—letting the entire crew go, against Garp’s orders?
This was a more interesting group than you’d anticipated.
Zoro eyed you for a moment as you were lost in thought, though he didn’t say anything to interrupt you. Once you finally looked up, he adjusted, clearing his throat. “Should go inside to make sure the waiter isn’t burning down the kitchen,” he said, straightening.
You stood up, sliding Hiru into its scabbard on your back. “The… waiter?”
Zoro shook his head. “Long story.” He gestured with his head, nodding towards the double doors. “Kitchen.”
You followed him, the soft aroma of garlic and meat wafting around the room the instant you stepped foot inside. Everyone was crowded around the kitchen island, propped on chairs and staring as Sanji prepared a meal before them. You joined the group, glancing over Usopp’s shoulder to watch.
There was a stir-fry on the stove, garlic and onions joined by various other vegetables. Sanji drizzled soy sauce along the pan, scraping it around once with his spatula before turning down the heat. He added in some rice—leftover, it looked—along with some battered eggs, mixing it all together.
“Vegetable and chicken fried rice,” Sanji said, turning off the heat once everything had cooked through and starting to distribute it into servings. “I went for something universal because I don’t know what you like.” He met your eyes, flashing a giant, warm smile again. You took the bowl he offered, fingers wrapping around the warm ceramic.
“Thank you,” you said. The four of you stood in silence, and you had the feeling that you were intruding. The crew was a tight unit, that much was certain—wound tightly around each other, ropes intersecting in delicate knots and bows. You turned your attention to your meal. You hadn’t had a real supper, so the food was a welcome surprise, and it was damn near close to the best thing you’d ever tasted.
“So,” Luffy started, “Not to bug you about it a hundred times, but…” You glanced up. His expression was earnest as he met your eyes, lips tugged upwards in an encouraging smile even as he spoke. “Are you joining us?”
“Am I—? Oh,” you said, realizing what it was Luffy was referring to. “Is the offer still standing?”
“Always,” he answered brightly. “You’d be a good fit for our crew, you know.”
Would you really? There wasn’t much of anything special about you besides your parentage. You were as skilled a swordswoman as any, but there were hundreds better and stronger than you. There was no one thing you truly excelled at. “I’ll think about it,” you said hesitantly.
“Well, think quick. We leave at dawn,” Luffy said. “Meet us back here at blue hour if you’d like to join up.” He smiled again, all unassuming, and it was hard to believe a boy so pleasant had a thirty million berry bounty hanging suspended over his head. He yawned, stretching out his long limbs. “Well, I’m off to sleep. Sanji’s next watch.” He glanced over at Zoro. “Why don’t you walk her back to her slip, Zoro?”
Your brows furrowed, about to object, but Zoro was already standing up. He opted to say nothing, leaving you to set down your empty bowl and say your goodbyes in a hurry to follow him out.
The bodies on the pier had thinned, the alive ones presumably having dragged themselves to town to find a doctor. Zoro stepped over the heap of corpses, and you followed suit, walking in silence down south port. “I’m a little far,” you said. “You might lose your way heading back.”
“I’ll be fine,” Zoro dismissed. “I’m… sorry about Luffy. He can get overly enthusiastic.”
“Oh, it’s fine,” you said with a shake of your head. “Are the rest of the crew open to me joining, though? It didn’t seem like he consulted any of you.”
Zoro’s brows lifted at that, though you weren’t certain why. “We’re all fine with it,” he said eventually. “Luffy wouldn’t invite someone who wouldn’t fit.” He hesitated, the plod of your footsteps creaking against the dock walkway for a few paces before he parted his lips again. “I’m going to fight Mihawk again, you know.”
“I figured,” you answered. You could feel Zoro’s eyes on you, scraping along your skin like they were blades themselves.
“You’re not upset by that?”
“Everyone wants to kill him for some reason or another,” you said. “You’re not the first.” Though there was something undeniably special about him. The fact he was still alive, for one. “I figure you’re a long way from that, so I’ll have a father for a few years more until you try to kill him again.”
There was something in the way you phrased your words that sounded so very ironic, and Zoro couldn’t suppress the light grunt from escaping his lips. It was dry, brittle—but closer to a laugh than a scoff, you could tell. “Is that your blessing?”
“Sure,” you said. “I, Dracule Mihawk’s daughter, hereby allow you, Roronoa Zoro, to murder my father in a duel.” The lightness in your tone dropped. “If you don’t mind me asking…” you took in a light breath, letting the taste of the words melt on your tongue before slipping them out. “Why do you want to, anyway? Defeat him, I mean?”
“I made a promise to someone a long time ago,” Zoro answered. His footsteps slowed as you reached your slip, the small sloop you’d sailed all the way to Loguetown calm as ever where it was moored. The black sails—vague, nondescript—sucked away all the light the moon attempted to cast on it, so it was even darker than the rest of the surroundings. “I told her I would become the world’s greatest swordsman.”
“That’s heavy,” you remarked, turning to face your companion. His skin was waxy and dull under the moonlight—aftereffects of the injury he still hadn’t fully recovered from. Zoro just shrugged.
“Maybe. It’s my life’s dream.”
“He’s a good father,” you said. “I think he’d like you.” You paused. “Well, he does. He wouldn’t have let you live if he didn’t.”
Zoro stiffened, the lines of his body tightening, spine pulling up just slightly. You noticed the change—you always did. Observation had always been one of your biggest strengths. Maybe you hadn’t gotten the golden irises your father had, but you had hawk eyes of your own in that way. Never missing a thing, picking out all flaws and details in a scene. “I’m not sure if I want him to like me.”
“He doesn’t feel hatred for a lot of people,” you said. “Just disdain. Though I’m fairly certain he’d have skewered that drunk at the bar earlier if he’d been with me.”
“The one who—” Zoro looked distinctly uncomfortable as he remembered what the pirate had offered you. He made a vague gesture instead, just mildly vulgar in motion. You suppressed a laugh.
“Exactly,” you agreed. “He doesn’t have patience for that sort of thing. He also feels no man who’s weaker than me in combat isn’t man enough to be with me, though I have questions about that particular rule.”
Zoro snorted. “You could definitely do better than the drunk pirate.”
“Right.” You glanced up at the moon, watching the steady silver glow of her face along the edge of the horizon. She was full, round and white, soft powder creasing the dents and shadows of her face. “I’m out for the night, then. Thank you for walking me.”
Zoro shrugged. He didn’t say anything, so you turned away, stepping onto your sloop without another word. You ducked into the interior room, closing the door firmly behind you so you could finally relax.
You had only a handful of hours of rest ahead of you, after all.

Florence was always looking for shit.
She was always looking for shit for us to do, places to go, food to eat, but sometimes, it was a lot.
Like today. Although it was only the nineteenth of April, the sun was blaring down on the little city of D.C. (namely, the District of Columbia, for all of you non-natives) like an absolute bitch. And I, immune to alcohol poisoning, foot fungus, and slightly-immune to bad breath, was not absolutely not immune to the wrathful rays of the sun.
Zilch. Nada.
So when I originally left the house in a cardigan, I immediately went back in to change into a tank top and jorts. It was hot. I was hot. And Florence wanted to spend the whole day walking around the city doing God knows what.
That's how we ended up stumbling across a parade.
Every know and then when I would visit D.C., I would sometimes almost accidentally show up right in time for an event. Sometimes I happened to love the event, other times, I sometimes left, queasy, dizzy, and claustrophobic.
I wasn't sure what to make out of today's event.
At first, when looking from an outsider's perspective, it seemed as if I had walked into one large, large, cult meeting. Oh no.
Every one was adorned in shapes of navy, cheering, screaming, and worse of them all, holding a goddamn can of RedBull's Energy drink.
The air was thick with the scent of anticipation and caffeine, a cocktail potent enough to keep even the most exhausted of souls awake for days.
Banners fluttered wildly in the hands of fervent fans, each emblazoned with logos and slogans that screamed allegiance.
Vendors weaved through the throng, hawking more cans of the ubiquitous energy drink, their cries barely audible over the din.
Occasionally, a shower of confetti would rain down, sticking to the sweat-drenched skin of the masses, creating a mosaic of glittering chaos. The atmosphere was electric, charged with the raw energy of thousands of voices united in a singular, frenzied purpose.
Ew.
RedBull being one of my least favorite sodas (can you even call something you vehemently dislike a favorite at this point?) already made me additionally pissy.
So when Florence and I had just arrived at D.C. and walked towards Pennsylvania Avenue, it was too late for us to realize that the event was actually ending, and the crowd was dispersing.
Even as a girl who hails from the city, I do get quite nervous and claustrophobic around too many people. So to my utter horror, people from the flood of the RedBull cult were heading straight towards us, scattering like a pack of fleas.
Too late.
I had lost my tight grip (I swear I was holding on to her hand super duper tightly!) on Florence's hand, and we ended up getting separated from each other. Calling her name would be no use in this throng of people.
My heart pounded in my chest as I desperately scanned the sea of navy shapes, each person indistinguishable from the next in the dimming light.
Panic set in, and I could feel the beginnings of a cold sweat on the back of my neck. I tried to push my way through the crowd, but it felt like swimming against a relentless tide. People brushed past me, some nearly knocking me over in their haste to leave.
The overwhelming noise of their chatter, laughter, and the occasional burp of a RedBull can opening filled the air, making it impossible to concentrate.
It was gross. It was disgusting. I was disgusted.
I spun around, hoping to catch a glimpse of Florence’s distinctive red scarf, but all I saw were faceless masses. My phone! I fumbled in my pocket, my fingers trembling as I tried to pull it out without dropping it. Just as I managed to get a hold of it, someone bumped into me, and the phone slipped from my grasp, landing with a sickening thud on the pavement.
“Dammit!” I muttered under my breath, crouching down to retrieve it, praying it wasn’t shattered. As I picked it up, I glanced around again, my heart sinking. Florence was nowhere to be seen.
In this crowd of sickeningly electric people over an energy drink, I was dead. Six feet under. Tired, and I had just gotten to D.C..
I looked around in despair, realizing that I must have walked a few blocks without even noticing, my mind too frazzled by the chaos and my separation from Florence.
My phone was clutched tightly in my hand, my lifeline in this moment of utter confusion. I tried to call Florence, but there was no signal. "Damn this shitty data!" I cursed under my breath, feeling my frustration bubble over. The crowd seemed to close in around me, their excited chatter and laughter a stark contrast to my growing panic.
My fingers tapped frantically at the screen, hoping that maybe, just maybe, a bar of signal would appear and rescue me from this nightmare. I could feel the beginnings of a headache forming, the kind that starts as a dull throb and quickly escalates into a pounding, relentless pain.
The one goddamn day I had left the house without my morning coffee and this shit decided to happen to me...
In a desperate attempt, I switched my phone to airplane mode and back again, praying for a miracle. But nothing changed. The crowd jostled me from all sides, pushing and pulling like a relentless tide, each shove adding to my rising sense of helplessness.
I glanced around, trying to find a familiar landmark or a quieter spot to regroup, but all I saw were waves of navy shapes and faces blurred by motion and anxiety.
"Florence!" I shouted again, my voice barely carrying above the din. The energy drink-fueled chaos was suffocating, a cacophony of noise and movement that seemed designed to disorient and overwhelm. I caught sight of a bench a few feet away and made a beeline for it, hoping to gain some semblance of stability.
I was in a twisted, sick, alternative fever dream where my nightmare fuel was in fact RedBull™, ha ha ha.
Whatever, I could probably find her somewhere around the city, I mean, it wasn't that big...right?
So there I was, in D.C., by myself. Not like I wanted to go in the first place that morning, but whatever.
Lost in thought, I was just wandering around, not really concentrating on anything in particular. Horrible city instincts, might I add. Because of my absentmindedness, I clearly did not notice when I walked into someone.
More like someone's RedBull drink walked into me.
I could not escape the nightmare fuel fever dream RedBull™ agenda, couldn't I.
Now I was extremely pissed off. The icy liquid soaked through my shirt, a cold shock that made me gasp and snap back to reality.
Looking up, I was two milliseconds away from berating whoever spilled this devil-drink all over me. But my harsh words died on the tip of my tongue the very instant that I looked up.
I was looking at a man. But not just any regular man. An extremely handsome man.
His startling icy turquoise eyes connected with mine. His stubble, a little overgrown, looked so hot. His mousy, brown touseled hair gave him a nonchalant yet strangely put-together look, and I was all in for it. And I, a girl who never stops talking, I was rendered speechless.
From the first glance, everything about him seemed perfect.
Except for the fact that he just spilled RedBull all over my white tank top and he was even wearing RedBull merch, from head to toe. Like who does that? What fashion choices...
He gave me a sheepish smile, clearly embarrassed. "I'm so sorry," he said, his voice smooth and sincere. "I didn't see you there." His soft, European (?) accent lulled me to silence in an instance.
I wanted to be mad, I really did, but his charm was disarming. "It's fine," I managed to say, trying to suppress the butterflies in my stomach. "Accidents happen."
"Let me help you," he offered, reaching into his pockets and pulling out a pack of Kleenex tissues. He reached out towards me, seemingly wanting to put his hands on my shirt.
"Oh, oh, that's okay," I said, freaking out internally. If this handsome European man touched me that close to my boobs I might just have to propose to him that very instant.
"No, no, no, I insist," he said, his accent getting thicker, clearly not understanding my drift. He was too handsome to be doing this shit, I swear.
He came closer towards me, and I instinctively backed up a bit more. Not catching my drift (once again), he took a larger stride towards me. I, unprepared for this wild encounter, didn't step backwards in time, so the sexy European man in all of his glory, collided into me.
And down we went.
It must've been a funny sight to see from the average passerby. Them just minding their business. Maybe walking their dog. Or perhaps getting a morning lattee.
Bam.
Lying in the middle of the street are two people. Just there.
I would've hit my head on the pavement and probably cracked my scull wide open if not for the RedBull man. He had cradled one arm around my head, the other wrapped tightly around my waist. I think (?) he was helping me to try to stop the fall.
To no avail, we still fell.
What he disregarded, though, was when he tried to stop the fall, was the reason why we were falling in the first place. As grabbed my head as we fell, he also let go of the RedBull can. So now, free in the wind and open towards the chaos of the District of Columbia, the RedBull can fell.
Fell where? You may ask. It fell over us. It fell everywhere. The sticky, icky drink splattered across both of our faces, its cold, sugary droplets clinging to our skin like a caffeinated rain shower. The can, released from his grasp, seemed to defy gravity for a split second, twisting in the air before gravity's inevitable pull sent it crashing down.
The can hit the ground with a soft thud, its contents erupting in a fizzy explosion of energy. The liquid sprayed outward in all directions, catching us both off guard.
Streams of RedBull arced through the air, some landing on nearby pedestrians who stared in disbelief, while others formed tiny puddles on the sidewalk, reflecting the cloudy yet impeccably humid D.C. sky above.
For a moment, him and I laid on top of each other (weird and freaky, I know), frozen in a tableau of absurdity, our faces now adorned with streaks of sticky red liquid.
A passerby, caught in the crossfire, chuckled as they hurried past, muttering something about needing to wash their dog now. It was a scene straight out of a slapstick comedy, and despite my initial shock and embarrassment, I couldn't help but laugh along with him.
And you may think, oh wow, that is horrible. That must hurt. Your joints, your back, your legs. And to that I say, yes, yes, and very much absolutely yes.
The very sexy (slightly less sexy, now that we were mangled on the disgusting sidewalk) European man was laying on me with all his bodyweight, and it very much hurt.
To make matters worse, our faces collided. You ask, where did your faces specifically collide?
Our lips. Our lips collided, and they touched.
And me like the dumbass I am, when I see a face coming towards mine unexpectedly, eyes closed, and especially a face who's male.... I puckered up.
Yes, I was stupid.
Now, I was on the floor, sticky, and kissing a stranger.
Out of context, that sounds like a funny and strange sentence. But this whole scenario in the first place was out of context, so bear with me. I mean, how often do you end up on the ground, covered in energy drink, and accidentally kissing a stranger in the middle of the day?
It was like something out of a quirky rom-com (okay, more like the evil-twisted beginning to one of those abduction horror stories grown-ups tell you when you are a kid), except I never imagined I'd be the protagonist.
But in that split second, with the taste of RedBull lingering on our lips and the chaos of the city swirling around us, there was an inexplicable spark. It wasn't just the caffeine rush; it was a moment of shared laughter and unexpected connection amidst the sticky mess.
In this moment, I was either going to die because he was about to kidnap me, or sheerly die out of embarrassment. Or, I would will myself to die, this was not happening to me.
He pulled back, his cheeks flushed with embarrassment. "I'm so sorry! Are you okay?" he asked, his accent making his words sound even more sincere.
I tried to laugh it off, but the awkwardness of the situation was hard to shake. "Yeah, I'm fine. Just… sticky." I wiped at my face, feeling the sugary residue cling to my skin.
He helped me to my feet, brushing off his clothes with an apologetic smile. "I didn't mean to… I mean, that was not… you know," he stammered, clearly flustered.
"It's okay," I reassured him, despite feeling mortified myself. "Really, it's fine. Just a little... unexpected."
He chuckled nervously, running a hand through his hair. He winced, as he realized that his fingers as well as his hair smelled like RedBull. "Well, this is definitely not how I imagined meeting someone today."
"Me neither," I admitted, feeling a strange mix of embarrassment and amusement. "But hey, at least it's a memorable encounter."
He chuckled, shaking his head. "Yeah, I guess this is one way to make an impression. I'm Max, by the way. Professional RedBull spiller and accidental kisser."
I laughed, the tension easing. "Nice to meet you, Max. I'm Y/N. Apparently, I'm your victim for today."
"Victim? More like an unsuspecting hero," he replied with a playful grin. "Seriously, though, I'm really sorry about all this. Can I at least buy you a coffee to make up for it?"
"Well, considering you saved me from cracking my skull open, I think I can let you off the hook," I said, trying to sound casual while still feeling a bit flustered. "And coffee sounds good."
"Great! I know a place just around the corner. And I promise, no more RedBull," he said, raising his hands in mock surrender. (Yeah, the biggest lie I was ever told. Do not trust sexy men, they are all liars)
As we walked towards the café, the awkwardness of our first meeting began to fade into a shared sense of humor about the absurdity of the situation. Max continued to apologize, making light-hearted comments about his job with RedBull and his less-than-perfect coordination skills.
"You know," Max started with a grin, "I guess I should add 'professional accidental kisser' to my resume now."
I chuckled, shaking my head. "Not sure how many job openings there are for that, but you'd definitely stand out."
"Well, it's all about making a memorable first impression, right?" Max replied, his eyes twinkling mischievously.
"Definitely memorable," I agreed, taking a playful jab. "Though next time, maybe aim for something less sticky?"
Max feigned offense, placing a hand over his heart. "But where's the fun in that? Besides, it's not every day you get to meet someone while wearing your finest RedBull cologne."
"I have to admit," I said with a smirk, "you wear it well."
Max chuckled, nudging me playfully. "Hey, it's an acquired scent. You'll get used to it."
"And here I thought coffee was supposed to be the only thing brewing today," I teased, glancing at him from the corner of my eye.
He leaned closer, lowering his voice conspiratorially. "Who says we can't have a double shot of excitement?"
I couldn't help but chuckle at his playful flirtation, feeling myself relax even more in his company. "Well, as long as it doesn't involve any more airborne beverages, I'm all in."
Max raised an eyebrow, pretending to look offended. "Are you saying you didn't enjoy our little RedBull shower?"
"Let's just say I prefer my caffeine in a cup," I replied with a grin, sipping my coffee and meeting his gaze over the rim. "So, Max, what other talents do you have besides professional beverage mishaps?"
He leaned back, pretending to ponder the question seriously. "Well, I can juggle three balls at once. And I'm pretty good at making people laugh, unintentionally, most of the time."
"I can see that," I said, laughing softly. "You've definitely brightened up my day, unintentionally." Continuing, I said, "I was lost in that throng, no, no, no, cult of people wearing RedBull on Penn Ave. It was absolutely horrible, never again."
He guffawed loudly, so loudly, at my slightly funny joke, I for a second, thought that there was an underlying joke in my statement that I had not caught (spoiler alert, there was).
Max guffawed loudly, his laughter infectious. "Oh, I'm sorry," he managed between chuckles, "but you have to admit, it makes for a great story."
"You find this funny?" I asked, feigning offense while trying not to laugh myself. "I was traumatized by energy drink enthusiasts!"
"Hey, at least you made it out alive," Max quipped, wiping a tear of laughter from his eye. "And here you are, sharing your harrowing tale with a fellow survivor."
"Survivor?" I raised an eyebrow, pretending to assess him critically. "Or secret admirer of RedBull?"
Max shrugged, his smile mischievous. "Maybe a bit of both. It's an acquired taste, you know."
"You are just saying that as a cult member, I can't really trust what you say still. I am so sorry, but you could not pay me to drink that can of dog piss," I jokingly rolled my eyes.
Max burst into laughter, his amusement filling the air around us. "Dog piss? That's a new one! Trust me, I'm not here to convert you," he said, grinning widely. "But if you ever change your mind, I'll be here with a fresh can and an open mind."
"Hmmm... okay," I reluctantly said. (Yeah, fat chance you would get me to drink RedBull willingly)
"That only made him laugh louder. "So I've heard," Max replied with a grin, clearly taking my comment in good humor.
I chuckled, feeling a sense of relief that he wasn't offended by my playful jab. "I mean, it takes confidence to rock the RedBull look from head to toe," I added, trying to soften my teasing with a smile.
"Exactly!" Max exclaimed, his laughter subsiding into a grin. "You've got to commit to the brand, right?"
"Absolutely," I agreed, nodding. "I have to hand it to you, though. Not many people can pull off such a bold fashion statement."
"Well, thank you," Max said, his tone light and playful. "I guess you could say I'm all about making a statement."
"I can see that," I replied, unable to resist teasing him a bit more. "I suppose next time we meet, I should wear something equally attention-grabbing to match your style."
Max laughed, shaking his head. "Please do. It'll make for an even more interesting encounter."
Everytime he spoke, he made direct eye contact with me. It was so sexy and seductive, and I don't even think that Max knew what he was doing was hella attractive.
I, not immune to anything today I guess, fell hard for a stranger that I had just met.

Reader doesn’t have to look like Leon. I always write y/n as poc even though I don’t make it apparent.
Leon S. Kennedy!reader X Alucard (Hellsing)
The president’s second child was kidnapped during a trip volunteering with their college. The United States sends only one man to do the job.
I wonder what amv he’s thinking about.
In your briefing it was mentioned that a top secret British organization known as Hellsing would provide their aide if they see fit.
Your mission had already gone awry as the two local officers escorting you were brutally murdered by the villagers.
And the villagers don’t seem to be the most human either.
You fought tooth and nail wave after wave barely surviving against the mutant villagers.
Some even twice your size wielding chainsaws just to add flavor.
But strangely you felt there were eyes on you. Well of course there were eyes on you you were the number one target.
And then that haunting church bell rang and all the mutants dropped their weapons. Chanting an ominous phrase as they sauntered into the church.
“Where’s everyone going, bingo?”
After a moment where all activity seemed to be silent. You found a room with a typewriter. You took this moment to bandage your wounds, reorganize your attache case, and reestablish communications with your handler. That you’re totally not simping for. (You totally are you love their voice)
Emerging from the shadows was a freakishly tall man in a red trench coat with a large hat and round sunglasses to match. You’ve had enough of large men in trench coats appearing out of nowhere.
But this one felt different. One he was not bursting through a wall. And this one was grinning at you. Which made you think that this one felt more human than the others. Though the gnarly fangs did make you question the human part.
“And you are?” You ask with your gun aimed at him.
And together you two embark on a mission rescuing baby hawk and taking down the vampire behind this bio terrorist attack.
Alucard admires your strength, resourcefulness, that round house kick, and your corny one liners.
Oh how he loves to hear those one liners. They just come out your mouth so naturally.
You know what else he wants to hear come out your mouth naturally?
The perseverance of your human spirit is truly captivating. And your extreme bravery inspires passion in him.
Seeing as this is your introduction to supernatural creatures and not monsters created in a lab. Alucard is explaining in great detail the specs of his guns.
He loved watching you try out the Casull. The look in your eyes when you saw its exploding rounds.
How’d the hell did a private organization make these?!
You do freak out at how Alucard NEVER DODGES!!
Alucard chuckles at how a certain spy dressed in red that you also were clearly attracted to leapt away from your life again.
Although, you can’t say you really enjoy your work like Alucard. Constantly, fighting the same threats that destroyed your city that caused it to be wiped from history. Another aspect he’d admire you for.
The thought of you joining the Hellsing Organization did make him smirk. He’d get to see you more often. And you’re a very capable soldier.
Bittersweetly you and Alucard go your separate ways.
But you never left his mind.
*Alucard being Alucard*
Y/n: Is he always like that?
Seras: Yeah, you won’t get used to it.
Of course you and Seras become besties.
If you do join the Hellsing Organization you do let one of your one liners slip in front of Integra. And Seras can barely hold in her laughter.
#I was hoping to have more but I couldn’t think of anything#I wanted to write a masc reader x Alucard#for the days I feel less she/her#also I wanted to do a resident evil x Hellsing#poc reader x Alucard Hellsing#masc reader x Alucard Hellsing#alucard hellsing x reader#hellsing ultimate#alucard hellsing#resident evil x Hellsing#alucard#Leon reader! x Alucard hellsing#sorry I wasn’t able to capture the relationship dynamics as x readers and writing canon characters are hard for me and I’m new at this

Summary: Honestly, just the most angsty shit I've written in a while.
Genre(s): angst,angst, and more angst.
Warning(s): I'm only following the show's timeline from season 1 to the first half of season 4. They're Taylor Swift/Billie Eilish/other depressing artists coded, more specifically "No time to die", "My tears ricochet", "I love you", "The Archer", "Afterglow", "Line without a hook", "All too well" "That way", "You broke me first", "The Great war", and the list goes on and on so just pick your poison.

A/N: QUICK DISCLAIMERS, I made the reader adopted bc clearly Eli's/Hawk's family is white so this way the reader can be a poc if that's the case, I started this back when S4 came out and just finished it... what does that say about me? Idk. ALSO, Robby's S4 era will always be superior, Robby from S4 you will always be famous, he was unhinged, hot, a menace, and iconic, in this essay I will-

The All Valley's karate rivalry was as old as time, as strong as god's will, and in your opinion, as stupid as it sounds; not to everyone though, especially your brother, the great and mighty Hawk who loved to parade around the city with his new look that carried every piece of confidence he had, unfortunately, now that it was taken away from him, he felt worthless.
You never had a thing against any of the participating parties in this ridiculous dispute, you didn't mess with them, and they didn't mess with you, but you had a limit whenever they attacked your brother, a tiny fine line that went from 'superficial wounds' to 'profound damage' and they crossed it. More like, Robby 'cute face' Keene, crossed it. Even though there was a 98% chance that your brother had brought this on himself, he was still your brother and you'd do anything for your family.
You pushed the glass doors storming into the empty section of the building and hearing them slightly vibrate behind you, "Keene," your voice was stern, no response, "Keene!"
"Back here!" He yelled from the back room.
The stride of your heels resounded in every corner of the concrete, a strong, dominant, and potent tone that could easily make anyone even slightly fearful. And Robby Keene wasn't the exception, no matter how many times Sensei Reese and Sensei Silver prepared him to be a champion, no matter how many hours he had proven to be Cobra Kai's worthiest inheritor, no matter how much muscle mass he gained by the minute, no matter how many days he spent in prison, no matter how many people he'd fought, no matter how many kids in the valley were scared of him, everyone has a weakness, and you were one of his.
There wasn't something in this world he could hate more than that because it didn't make sense, it didn't make any fucking sense for you of all people to hold so much power over him after everything that happened, there was an evident reason behind esteeming the adults around him, some of the other students even, but you? What else were you if not a lovely face? The most beautiful thing he's ever seen in his life, he knew the answer, a little too well for his liking, and as much as he hated it, the fact that you were so out of reach made him want you more.
But he pretended, okay? Oh, he loved, adored even, to act all tough and cocky around you as if you couldn't break his entire facade into little pieces if you so much as softened your features for him, a minimal act he thought he'd never see again, and still, he'd imagined it, he'd daydream about it almost every time you were near him, which with the new tournament coming up, seeing you became more and more recurrent, and so, it didn't get easier to hate you, in fact, the more he saw you, the harder it got.
If and only if you were held at gunpoint, you'd admit that the boy was attractive, pretty even, mostly because you would be sentenced to death by your family or hanged for treason by your brother's friends, but also because confessing to like him meant confessing you liked the guy who for better or for worse, ended up in juvie, and it was something that you didn't wanna be linked with.
You didn't have to say it to know that after all, you were still genuinely captivated by his physique and attitude, the way he carried himself everywhere he went, his ability to make himself seen without saying a word, how he wasn't easy to overlook; maybe it was just you who noticed his presence so intensely, perhaps you convinced yourself the rest of the world did as well just so you wouldn't feel so pathetic by the fact that you couldn't ignore him. And in the attempt to make your life easier and 'problem-free' by neglecting your feelings, it backfired by raising the complicity lever of your desires.
"What can I do for you, Princess?" he didn’t bother to turn around perhaps you’d go quickly so he didn’t have to train his self-control, not again.
If you were in a different mood, you would've rolled your eyes at the little nickname you despised so much, he gave it to you not only to point out that your economical status was clearly higher than his, but also to remind the 10-month-old age gap between you and your brother, a small amount of time that doomed your life to always be put under him, to your family, he was going to grow to be a King, the one who was gonna inherit every important part of their heritage, and you were stuck to be only that, a Princess.
"Give me one good reason why I shouldn't put your ass back in jail?" You fumed, irritation blurring out your judgment.
"Because legally, I did nothing wrong, and even if I did, you have no proof of it," he grinned.
"Then explain to me what the hell is wrong with you?!” you spun him by his shoulder, “You really thought you could just casually shame my brother by cutting his hair and I wouldn't come here to defend him?!"
"You mean the same hair that made him think he could be a bully?" he remained calm.
"You know damn well I never agreed with that," you spat, "Do I need to remind you he was suspended for a week because I went to the principal? And regardless of that, you wanna complain about him making others feel less with violence while you do the same?" you scoffed, "Wow," you stated with sarcasm.
"It's hair, it'll grow back,"
"You humiliated him! You made him nothing! Not to mention you used a barber's blade, idiot, did you think about how fucking dangerous that was? You could've seriously injured him if he made the wrong move!"
"I warned him, good thing he knows how to listen, he’s not as stupid as he looks," he taunted you more.
You shook your head, "You're gonna listen to me Keene, and you're gonna listen to me very carefully," you got close to him, "If you even so much as breathe in his direction before the tournament, I will end you,"
He chuckled, "Is that supposed to be a threat?"
"No, only cowards like you and your minions make threats, mine is a promise,"
"I'm not a coward," he clenched his jaw holding back the increasing anger.
You laughed, and somehow said more than words could.
"Says the one who came here when it was all alone knowing that if it wasn't, you would've gotten your ass beaten,"
"By who? Your little friend who's on probation?” you tilted your head with an arrogant smirk, “No, you see, I came here at this time because I'm smart, I mean let's be honest, you've never done anything to hurt me and you never will, because… well," you raised your shoulders feeding the fire in his eyes.
"So what? Do you want me to hurt you to prove that I'm not?" he towered over you.
You nodded, "Yes," you took another step towards him, "But then again, you don't want me to win, do you? Because if you hurt me, then that means you care about what I think,” your voice got slower, “and what would that say about you? True winners don't have to prove anything to anyone but themselves, that's the difference between all of you and me," you separated from him slightly, "But go ahead, make my day and land the first punch,"
He froze in his place processing your words and just barely he noticed he missed your closeness, he couldn't bring himself to do so, pushing down the consuming rage that, later on, would show up stronger when Silver and Kreese find out about this encounter.
"That's what I thought," you scrunched your nose, "You karate nerds are so stupid, who needs to get physical when you have words?" you told more to yourself, and right when you were about to make, what you considered, a triumphal exit, your arm got yanked, your chest hit him, and your faces were less than an inch away, "What are you doing?" you whispered.
The vulnerability of your words and the fragility of your look melted him, for a split second he lost track of his purpose, but it wasn't until he remembered your words that he snapped out of the trance, "Hurting you," he whispered back before placing your lips on his.
It didn't take long for his action to hitch your respiration, stun your nerves, fill your veins with adrenaline, whisk your logic, and for you to correspond. It was embarrassingly quick if to be completely honest, but it didn't matter, frankly, you were so unashamed of it that your hands slipped behind his neck pushing the two of you impossibly closer. It was hungry, desperate, and frantic; you finally understood Adam and Eve no matter how much you hated religion, finally comprehended the temptation of the forbidden fruit, sweet, delicious, and addictive.
Instinctively, he gently pushed you against the nearest wall and you felt his fingers getting lost in your hair, "I don't need to use a lot of strength to hurt you," he pulled you away trying to recover his breath, "I'm gonna hurt your pride by making you moan my name,"
"Easy there, snake boy," you managed to gasp out as you trailed your fingertips fastidiously along his jawline whilst slightly lifting his chin, "What makes you think you won't moan mine," you weren't ready to let your guard down, not yet, you then switched positions holding his shoulders against the cement. In an act of pure selfishness, you softly cupped his face somewhat catching him off guard, his nose brushed yours as your top lip created contact that was so minimal it could almost be imperceptible, "Nice try, Keene, but unfortunately for you, I don't fuck losers," you mumbled, although you could've said it in a more impactful tone, you knew, you knew that the intimacy of it all would make your words burn into the very depths of his soul.
You walked out of the Dojo quite easily with him as perplexed as a Marmol statue, the catch was having to drive around the city to cool off your system and release the tension of it all. However, it didn't work, not even a little bit, not even at all, your mind played every different scenario of the continuation of your reckless actions, it was your fault, and you had to accept it, you went to face him knowing damn well how you felt for him, you went knowing damn well he wouldn't just back down easily, knowing he would've put up a fight one way or another, you knew deep inside you, you knew this could happen, you wanted it to happen.
It was inevitable, your brother was just the perfect excuse and you used it, you took advantage of it, you abused it even, he begged you not to do anything and you didn't care enough to listen, you just had to see him, you had to confront him after almost a year of holding back.
You met him while he was still working for the LaRussos, Daniel and your mom had known each other since college, so whenever they began a conversation, no one could stop them or be part of it; on that occasion, you two were invited for dinner, you brother naturally skipped it, but you were forced to go. You couldn't really complain, Sam was nice company at times, and you would mostly gossip about school or complain about teachers, nothing too deep; however, it even amazed you how rapidly you connected with Robby. Was your entire conversation from that night centered on making fun of the adults? Yeah, but you couldn't stop cackling the entire time. After that, whenever you saw each other you two resumed that same chemistry, constantly coming up with inside jokes or witty comments regarding your family, friends, possible love interests, etc. It then patiently evolved into a solid friendship by revealing heavy details of both of your lives; other types of sentiments involved or not, there was a time when all you had was each other.
But the school fight changed everything, Hawk had a personal vendetta against the person who put one of his best friends in a coma, and you... you were scared, not furious, not bitter, just terrified. Of him, your brother and his friends, Sam, everyone that had to go through the aftermath of it all; you burned all of those bridges, gasoline and everything, changed schools in a different part of town, shut down that part of your life. You couldn't afford to give your family another reason to put you under.
"Y/N, could you stop procrastinating and do something productive?” your mother interrupted your thinkings, “I gotta take this call, take care of them for a minute," she pointed at the waiters.
"Oh, yeah, sure, I- I'll watch them," you answered.
She stepped away.
You huffed scanning the restaurant your family proudly called theirs, it was a second home, warm, comfy, filled with known people, and although you couldn’t make sense of it, you’d always perceived the hazy calmness through the chaos.
There was something hardly recognizable besides the door, at first glance your eyes overlooked it, but as you double-checked your body tensed and your eyes widened so much you were sure they were gonna pop out, he was here.
The last time he showed up at the business was the night before the incident, your parents had conveniently gone to a business dinner and your brother had no intentions on getting out of the house with his hangover, and like every other time he'd been there, you two would steal food from the kitchen, go up to the rooftop and talk about nothing and everything.
Flashback
"And now Mr. LaRusso doesn't wanna have anything to do with me," his voice weakened.
"Oh my god, Robby," you wasted no time in hugging him tightly, "I'm sorry,"
He nuzzled in the crook of your neck sparking something in your gut, you never failed to react to the crumbs of intimacy you always had. His eyes began to water, tears falling into your shirt.
"It's okay, it's okay," you comforted him, both of your torsos gently swinging.
"It hurts so much," he sniffled, "Why does it hurt so much?" it might've sounded a little too melodramatic, perhaps absurd, but he wasn't afraid to be like that, vulnerable, not with you, you never gave him a reason to be.
You pursed your lips, your throat was dry, you were speechless although you'd never been the quiet type, and all you could do was hold him even tighter, a subtle yet relevant symbolism that reminded you that was the closest you could get.
"Why does everyone always leave?" he let the question settle into the breeze although it felt more personal.
It broke you to see him like this, no pain you've ever felt was comparable to seeing he whom you love miserable, there was nothing else you could do but be there, though you didn't think it was nearly as enough as what he needed, "I- I don't know," you couldn't tell if you were lucky to have never experienced such experience, or misfortunate to not have said wisdom to heal him. You cautiously cupped his face, as if one of your movements could hurt him more, he was like stained glass, complicated, fractured, fragile, and yet, his cracks and colors made him the most beautiful soul you’ve ever met "I won't leave you," you ran your thumbs through his cheeks, drying the small showings of his pain.
"You promise?"
"I promise,"
End of flashback
You tried not to draw too much attention to yourself while jogging towards the entrance, "What the hell are you doing here?" you blurted out.
"I wanna talk to you," he seemed happy, probably because of how fearful you, on the other hand, were.
"You- you can't be here right now, I'm not messin' around," you shook your head, you had to react as discreetly as possible.
"Why? Your brother isn't here,"
"It's not just my brother, okay? My family will kill you on sight, please, listen to me," you grabbed his shoulders, "We can't talk, not here,"
"Where then?"
"I-" you looked around making sure your mom was still in her office, "Do we really have to do this right now?" you insisted.
"Yes," he stated firmly.
You pinched the bridge of your nose, "Okay, come on," you pulled his hand with a strength that wasn't necessary.
You entered the tiny meetings room on the other side of the establishment, because of your dad's usual tantrums, it didn't have a camera and it was sound-proofed; you made sure to lock the door and turn off the light so it wouldn't be visible from the bottom of the wood.
"Okay, make it quick, I need to get back to my mom," your words were rushed and stumbling with each other.
"You truly are terrified of your parents aren't you?" he crossed his arms.
"I don't have time for this Robby-"
"Thought I was 'Keene',"
You only began to call him that after in consequence of the Karate outrage, his first name felt too personal, too close.
You shut your eyes in frustration, "Can you stop being an ass for a second and get to the point of whatever it is that you wanna talk about?"
"Why are you so nervous about me being here?" he continued to tease, truth is, he wasn't sure what he was doing there in the first place, all he knew was that here he was, with you.
"It doesn't matter, just- start talking," you pressured.
"Why are you so nervous about me being here?" he repeated.
Your fingers twitched, a manner you developed out of stress, "Because if they see me with you, I'll never hear the end of it, okay?" you fidgeted then with your jewelry.
"If you never wanna be caught in a lie I suggest you stop doing the ring thing," he pointed out, "It makes it easy to tell,"
You halted the action and then shrugged.
"Why are you so nervous about me being here?"
"Because they already filed a restraining order against you, I guess you didn't get it because you're here, but if they call the cops you'll probably end up in juvie and I don't want- If you ever wanna go back to school or get a job is gonna be incredibly difficult,"
He assumed at first you didn't wanna be seen with him because of how much you cared about the reputation of your new life, a valid perspective given how much you made an effort to conceal it all, but hearing you enlightened him, sore him "Don't look at me like that," a small part of his grudge came out.
"Like what?"
"Like you still care about me,"
A choked laugh resounded from your part, "First of all, I'm not apologizing for that, and second-"
"You should," his demeanor abruptly became more defensive.
You tilted your head, "Why?" your energy matched his.
"Because you don't care about me, and acting like you do is very hypocritical of you,"
"When have I ever told you that I don't care about you?" you frowned.
"You don't have to say it, you already proved it,"
"How so?"
"Don't play the innocent part now," he was close to losing his cool, "You try so hard to hide everything that happened but at even the slightest inconvenience, you go right back where you started, tell me, do your mommy and daddy know you went to see me two days ago? Huh? Or let me guess, you were too scared to tell them?"
"Oh, fuck off Keene, is that all you got? Is that the only thing that you think will affect me? My parents? My reputation?"
"Yes! Because that's the only thing you care about! You're nothing but a self-centered spoiled brat that doesn't know any better than to run away from her problems! You wanna know who the real coward is here? You are! Some of us don't have the privilege of a new start! Keep pretending all you want, but don't forget, I was your friend and you turned your back on me, I wasted my one phone call on you because you were the only person I had, and you hung up on me like I was nothing! Tell me, how am I supposed to be the coward if I'm the one who got hurt because of your selfishness?! You don't care about anyone but yourself!" as much as he attempted to divert the subject of the conversation, his eyes sabotaged him, quickly covering his face in a salty heartbreaking liquid. "You... you weren't there-"
You were both stunned by his reaction, you'd think that with everything he's been put through, he wouldn’t snap so easily, so passionately, so emotionally, but no, all of this was a new part of himself that only you made him feel, he’d only allowed you to do so.
"I needed you! I needed you! And you weren't there! And- and then the first time you say anything to me after I got out-"
If there's something he had while being in juvie was time, precious time he'd spent weaving, machinating; about you, about his dad, about the LaRusso's, about Miguel, about him. Strategizing his next encounter with the world was arduous, but the action of going through with it was the true challenge, and he realized how useless all that time truly was when he heard your voice the first time, suddenly all of it was gone, the effort, the time, the sleepless nights, the daydreaming noons, all of it, turned into nothing, you turned them into nothing.
"I was happy," he exhaled like freeing himself of chains and shackles, "I was so happy, and I enjoyed seeing you mad so fucking much, seeing you in general," he laughed, "I tried to-" he choked on his words, "I tried to hate you so much because you bailed on me but I can't," every inch him began to feel... lighter, "I can't hate you," he sighed, "I- I just can’t,”
Your body didn’t allow you to move, roughly grounding you, vines of regret holding you hostage against soothing him, stopping him, following him outside, responding coherently to your family’s screams, to forget. You’d lost count of how many days you’d feel as you were still glued to the wooden floor, completely stuck, dried-out blossoms of hope from your heart, rageful deep thorns clinging to your debilitated frame, daunting poison sinking your head.
—How many times?—
How many times would you have to come up with every pretentious and overly-thought narrative to justify everything? You’ve been silenced by your reluctance, aghast by your idealization, confined by your denial, triggered by tension, frozen by your guilt, and finally steered by resentment.
You stared at the faint reflection from the glass, you wanted to immortalize the picture, hair slightly out of place, tugged at clothes, blood burst out of the skin, purple underneath the large organ, nostrils flowing with the lack of air, mouth agape.
—Why?—
You prepared yourself for the question before anyone else asked it.
—Why was protecting Robby’s honor against someone as irrelevant as Natalie Dalmasos worth it?—
You noticed your knuckles finally matching your brother’s.
—He’s never even met her—
Your stomach sunk as if releasing all the ire and digesting it as dread.
—Was it worth it?—
Hammering head.
—Did she deserve it?—
Striking heart.
—You screwed up everything you built—
Trembling legs.
—What did you do?—
Numbed face.
—Why destroy it?—
Streaking neck.
—Why him?—
Overwhelmed.
Then reality came back.
—Shit—
You reached for your phone, quickly texting your mother the first perfectly constructed lie you could think of, you had to disappear at least for tonight, eventually relieved by her believing your sleepover story, you started the car.
—Where else would you go?—
You blankly saw the infamous logo, the white clearness hiding the inside, you took a shaky breath and struggled to get yourself inside the walls, you didn’t have to make yourself known by words, the heavy door did all the work filling it with creaks against the floor for it being poorly moved.
You saw him cautiously walk out of the dark.
“Robby,” you let out a soft smile.
He frowned as you gradually got nearer.
“I- I um-” you gulped, “I just got into a fight, the party- I-,” there was now a lightbulb over your head.
He rushed, “Y/N, holy shit,”
“I- I’m fine, I swear,” you chuckled.
“Fine?! You look like shit!”
“You should see the other guy,” you joked
He shrugged, “Sorry, I didn’t mean to say it like that, I’m just-,”
“Shocked?” you interrupted him, “Surprised? Amazed? Astonished? Stunned? fucking… every other synonym there is?”
He nodded still scanning your body, “Come on, let’s get you cleaned up,” he placed one of your arms on his shoulder to then swiftly carry you bridal style to his mattress. You tilted your head observing the side of his jaw.
“I never noticed you had a scar there,” you whispered.
“One of many of my mom’s bad boyfriends,”
“I’m sorry,” you delicately traced it.
He smiled, “It’s okay,”
You were laid down rather dramatically, or so you thought by the way he treated you like you were made out of paper, you just rolled your eyes and sat up while he went to get the first aid kit.
“This is gonna hurt,” he wet the cotton.
You scoffed, “Relax Robby, I’m a big girl, this isn’t my first drill,”
“Right,” he nodded.
You lowly hissed when the chemical made contact.
“Thought this wasn’t your first drill,” he teased.
“Okay, just because I’ve been hurt before doesn’t mean it’s not painful,” you both laughed, “I can still handle it,”
The rest of the cleaning went somewhat silent, just a few mumbled sorries were thrown around, but by the time he had pulled out the bandages, you grew impatient.
“You’re not gonna ask?” you broke the ice.
“Not really,” he admitted.
“Why?”
“Because,” he raised his shoulders, “It’s too late to go and make ‘em pay for it,”
“Oh god, please don’t, I already did that,”
“What do you mean?” he began to wrap your hand.
“I’m the one who started the fight because they were talking shit,”
“What kind of shit?”
“All kinds, throwing rumors and just- bullshit,”
“About who?”
You licked your lips.
—Really? Now you go silent? You’re already here, fuck it—
“About you,”
“What?” he tightened the cloth too much.
“Ow,”
“Sorry, sorry,” he let go.
“Yeah,” you confessed, “They were talking shit about you and I shut them up,”
“Who?” he was still confused.
“Some girl from my school who thinks she’s fucking… Regina George or somethin’, she’s just a bitch,” you shook your head.
“Why?”
—Why?—
You grabbed his face, and gave him the most mellow and honeyed eyes you’ve ever had, “You haven’t figured that one out yet, have you?” you joined your foreheads as you closed your eyes, “You’re not the smart one out of us anyway,” you heard him giggle.
He brushed his nose with yours, shyly getting closer.
—Are you sure?—
—Yeah—
—Fuck it—
You kissed him for the first time, but held on to it like it was the last, how was it that you could say everything with just that? The most disarming and humble expression there is; the touch of two epidermises, and the completion of dual fantasies. You almost blubber in it, oh sacchariferous little poison of yours, worth every penny, every dime, every tear, every scream, and every dream.
He paused, taking a deep breath, yet never breaking contact.
You sobbed, “I love you,” you dried his cheeks.
“I love you too,” he whimpered.

Nothing.
No texts. No calls. No emails. No nothing from Keigo. Nothing.
A week had passed since that fateful dinner, something that changed the course of your life of course. After the dinner, he suddenly disappeared, soon learning he went to a two-week-long conference out of the country.
On purpose, you thought to yourself, as you lay in bed, draping yourself on Shouta’s warm body. Lifting your head slightly, you glanced over at your phone, face down against the wooden nightstand. Letting out a silent breath as you rested your head against him again. The sun was barely peeking through the curtains, indicative of a new day approaching. You twisted your body, Shouta’s own unconsciously reacting to your movements as you laid stomach-down against him. Using your hands to rest your chin, feeling his chest heave slowly, up and down. His hands had readjusted themselves, resting underneath your bare ass, holding you close to him. Smirking, an idea popping into your head, as you begin to shuffle, moving yourself lower and lower. You came face to face with his boxers, his erection pressing against them, threatening to come out with one move.
You looked back up at his resting face, before glancing back down at your task at hand. Thumbing at the elastic hem, you slowly pulled down the fabric, his length springing up from its confinements. You pulled the rest of the boxers down for some freeing space, before wrapping your hand around him. Gasping as you leaned forwards, placing a few kisses up and down. Soon you stuck your tongue, gliding yourself up and down, your hand following along. Shouta let out a deep groan, still deep in his sleep, his body moving around. Smirking, continuing your actions as your thumb soon reached up to his thick mushroom-like tip, pre-cum dribbling out of him, trailing down. Your tongue soon reaches the tip as well, swirling it around before taking it, sucking on it slowly. Slowly and slowly, you swallowed him more and more, using your hands to cover what you couldn't.
The slightly salty taste didn't deter you, letting out a slight moan as you could feel his tip hitting the back of your throat. You drooled all over him as you sucked away at him, stretching your throat around him. You could feel your pussy throb as you gagged around him, your slick dripping down the back and your inner thighs. Your hands worked around the thick length of his cock, the slippery spit helping you. Tears welled in your eyes, your soft moans vibrating through him. Shouta’s groans and gasps echoed throughout the room, along with the wet sounds of your actions. His body jerked and trembled underneath you, before feeling his rough hands slowly sliding up your body. Glancing up, you locked eyes with dark brown ones, still heavy with sleep. Cheeks curling into a smirk, you continued to swallow him down, the feeling of his eyes on you phishing you to go faster and faster.
“Fuck, just like that,” he groaned, his hands soon reaching up to your wrapped-up hair, his large hands grabbing at it, guiding your head up and down his cock.
Gasping, coming up for a few breaths, spit and drool dripping from your lips, your hand still twisting around him. Before you could go back down, you could feel his hands leave your head, going right back to your waist. Squealing as he suddenly pulled you up, straddling you right onto his waist, giggling as you towered over him. His legs bent upwards, stabilizing himself as he lifted you up. Letting out a loud, gaspy moan as he slowly slid himself into you. The stretch was slightly painful, as neither of you prepped, but that didn't stop you. Your hands flew up to his shoulders, your nails digging into his bare skin as he sunk further and further into you. You whimpered as he thrust into you one time, testing the waters.
He hummed and waited a few moments before doing it again, this time you whimpered dripping with pleasure instead of pain.
“Shouta,” you gasped, clenching around him as he speedily thrust into you, taking in every sound that you make.
He said nothing, only humming as his hands rested on your ass, easily lifting you up and down his cock. Your moans soon got louder and louder, echoing against the otherwise empty room you both lay in. You moved your head down to look at him, his eyes closed, face contorted in pleasure. Smiling, one of your hands reaching up, thumb stroking at his face. Slowly, your hips ground against him, following along with his rhythm. You could feel his hands squeeze at your sides, keeping you stable as you rocked yourself as well, following along. The two of you locked eyes, looking into his deep brown ones, gazing down at his rough stubble. Your hands were stretched out, pressing against his naked chest, feeling the hairs on his chest scratching against your palms. Head thrown back in pleasure, spit dripping from your mouth as your mind hazed over.
Legs trembling, your eyes rolled back to your head as you were thrust into your orgasm. Your nails dug moons into his skin, stabilizing yourself from the erotic feeling. Shouta let off heavy grunts before reaching his own climax, letting off low moans as he filled you up. Breathing heavily, slumping up against his sweaty body, laying across his chest. You could feel his hands sliding up and down your back, his actions providing an unknown comfort. As your mind and body began to relax, eyes lowering further and further, you couldn't help that one last glance before turning your head and body, facing your lover. His head was turned from you, his phone in hand. Glancing over at the screen, you could tell he was scrolling through emails, rolling his eyes at certain ones. Glancing down at his face one more time, you couldn't help the swell within your heart as you pushed yourself up, kissing up along his beard.
Shouta groaned which formed into a deep chuckle as he suddenly placed his phone down before turning and facing you. You giggled as he basically scooped you into his arms, pushing right back into your previous position, straddling him, and pressing against his now soft dick.
“Insatiable, is what I should call you?” His morning voice was so much deeper than his regular one, and his regular one was already so deep.
The low vibrations only caused you to ache further, inhaling and breathing out slowly, lowly moaning as well.
“I can’t help it, when you look like that,” your voice alluring to him as his hands slide right back down to your waist, beginning to continue your ride as well.
You were still dripping wet, a mix of both his and your juices mixing and sopping out of you. Just as you were about to reach down and put him right back inside of you. A sudden sound jolted the both of you. The two of you glanced over to your left, seeing your phone rigging and vibrating against the nightstand. Sighing, you leaned over as much as you could, grabbing the device off the table. Your eyes glanced down at the caller ID before widening in complete shock.
Keigo is calling…
Your heart was beating in between your ears, you could do nothing but stare at the screen. You must have been staring for too long because Shouta’s voice soon cut through your trance, “are you going to answer that?”
Inhaling sharply, you turned to look at him, “hmm? Oh..” you started, looking back at your phone.
“...yeah, give me a minute, “ you mumbled, swinging your leg off of him and the bed.
On the floor, you grabbed his shirt before flinging it on and walking to the bathroom. You opened the door before closing it behind you, before walking over to the toilet, opening it up, and sitting right on top of it. Your hands were shaking, you could barely move your thumb to the white and green sliding button.
You answered the call.
“Hello…”
“Heyyy, good morning? Hope I didn’t wake you up!”
He answered as if nothing was amiss between the two of you like it was him calling to see if your plans to go to the coffee shop were still on.
You sniffed a bit before answering, “umm no, I was… I was already awake.”
He hummed, “that’s good, that’s good. Listen, I was wondering if you had any free time today to hang out this morning, head over to the coffee shop we always go to?”
“Um… I don’t know if I’m free right now…?”
“Oh no, that’s perfectly fine! I understand this was all short notice.”
You almost sighed in relief but you held that until you pressed the glaring red button. Just as you were about to say your goodbyes, Keigo suddenly cut in.
“But you’ll be free tonight right?”
You blinked, heart racing again, “to…tonight?”
He hummed, “yes tonight, you’ll come to the address I’ll send you right? Be there at 8?”
“Keigo, I—”
You could feel your heart dropping as Keigo’s tone suddenly turned into a desolate coldness you had only a taste of during the dinner, “it’d be in your best interest if you were free tonight.”
Blinking away the tears, you slowly nodded your head, sniffing a bit, “okay, okay… I’m free tonight.”
“Wonderful! I’ll see you tonight!”
Click.
Whole body shaking, you could help the fumble as you tried to catch your phone, but it was no use, the electronic device clanging and hitting the floor. You covered your mouth, muffling the frantic sobs that were beginning to spill out of your mouth. You sank to the floor, hitting your head against the sink cabinet. Tears burned in your eyes, nearly blinding you as you tried to blink and wipe them away but it was no use, the hot liquid streaming down your face. The heavy sinking feeling within grew larger, like a ball of lead habituating within your stomach. Your mind was hazed, like black smoke slowly filling your thoughts, and your senses, you could only rock yourself, hoping to find some kind of lifeline, but you were hanging on by a thread.
What were you going to do? Do you tell Shouta, do you just break things off with him and continue… whatever Keigo was offering towards you? Or do you lie to him… lie to him about what Keigo has been sending you? Lie to him and not tell him how he’s been stalking the two of you since the summer times?
Knock. Knock. Knock.
You gasp, looking towards the door, your eyes clearing as you heard his voice.
“Love… are you okay?”
Inhaling sharply, you pushed yourself up as quickly as you could, turning to look at yourself in the mirror. You turned on the sink, cupping your hands underneath the running water before splashing your face multiple times to clean your face of the snot that had begun to drop down your face, as well as the tears that had dried and made white streaks against your face. Grabbing the towel, begin to wipe your face before walking towards the door, and opening it. You looked up at Shouta, taking on a confused look on your face.
“Yeah, everything’s fine, just got a call from my mom, about my grandmother? She… she had a real bad scare but they said she’ll be fine.”
Your grandmother was currently in hospice, in the final year of her life. You felt slightly sick to use her life as an excuse for your troubles, but you had no other way to explain your red eyes and croaky voice. Shouta’s face turned from confused to a more wistful look. He reached out towards you, pulling you into an embrace. All you could feel was his red-hot guilt running through you. You don’t deserve his comfort, you don’t deserve his hugs, his love, and his tranquility that he brings with him. You soon wrapped your arms around him, your tears only reigniting, the salty liquid hitting Shouta’s bare skin.
You may not deserve his comfort, but by god, were you going to take what you could.
∘₊✧──────✧₊∘
You stood in front of the house, the large frame daunting in front of you. It was a modern house with a contemporary style, as if he was trying to show off in every aspect. Every light was off, including the ones decorating the edges of the very large driveway, which conveniently, only had one car in front of it. It was the one you would see him drive all the time. So you knew, this was his home.
You wore a large, leather coat, one of the many gifts Shouta had given you. Two hours before arriving here, you got another text from Keigo, it was a picture of you, during the summer. You were alone in said picture, but you knew the implications behind it and just happened to see familiar dark hair standing not too far from you.
Wear the outfit you wore in this picture, exactly to the tee.
It was a black jean mini-skirt, with chains wrapped and hanging on the fabric as well, along with a lace-see-through bodysuit. You had paired it with the long leather coat along with knee-length platform combat boots as well as see-through black stockings with black dots all over them. The hairstyles were different of course, you had your natural hair pressed and flat iron in a silk press while your hair is currently in butterfly locs right now. Sighing as you slide away from the pictures, before suddenly landing on a picture you took of you and Shouta a while back. You couldn’t stop the smile that appeared on your face as you
Your phone buzzed in your hands, lifting up to see a text from Keigo.
Are you gonna stand outside and catch a cold, or are you gonna come inside?
You gazed up at the house once again, before letting out a breath and walking up towards the door. You could do nothing but the sounds of your heavy breathing and your boots hitting the pavement. You soon stood before the door, hand shaking as you curled your hand into a fist before knocking on it one, two, three times. You brought your hand down, hands fidgeting at your side.
He didn’t come to the door, the cool wind blowing at your side. Was he watching you stand out here? You shuffled a bit, side to side. He definitely knew you were out here, as evidenced by the text he sent you. You picked up your phone, glancing at the text still lingering around on your lock screen.
The deadlock clicked, your eyes widening as the sound of the doorknob turning caught your attention. The door barely squeaked as it was opening. Standing behind the construct was the man himself. He wasn’t in the fancy attire you had last seen him in, rather he was wearing a baggy shirt, along with some gray sweatpants, hanging off of his waist. His amber eyes gazed down at you, lingering off your figure before looking at you dead in your eyes. The sudden sharp look jolted you, taking a step back in shock.
He then smirked, before taking a step back, turning his body so you could enter the home, his arm gesturing out for you to do so. With no other option, you entered his abode.
The decor of his home shocked you a bit, expensive looking, one might think too expensive for a professor’s salary. The entire right wall was made of windows, allowing you to see the greenery behind you along with the sun-setting sky. He could feel his aura standing right behind you, as you moved into his living room. There were a multitude of couches spread out throughout the large living room.
“Pick anywhere to sit at, make yourself comfortable.” He called out in front of you, before brushing past you, heading towards something that looked like a kitchen area.
You could only nod your head, before walking towards the couch that faced the large fireplace, which was on, heating and illuminating the room. You rubbed your hands together, to gather heat between your hands. You could hear the clacking of glass and proline against each other in the background for a bit before the sound of the footsteps replaced it. Looking over to your left, you found Keigo walking towards you, holding a tray in his hands.
He came around you, placing the tray right on the expensive coffee table right in front of you. In the tray, you saw an assortment of different treats, along with two steaming hot cups of what looked like hot chocolate. Your eyes caught movement as you glanced up, seeing his form walk access the space between you and the table before taking a seat a few inches away from you.
“I just got back from a really big conference, so I couldn’t do much grocery shopping but there was the sweet store and bakery that I thought you might really enjoy! You like wafer cookies, right?”
You blinked, wafer cookies were your favorite cookies, you almost always got them whenever you went out to bakeries and sweet shops. You glanced down at the tray before making eye contact with a multitude of different colored wafer cookies. Green-colored matcha-flavored, there was a light pink strawberry-flavored cookie, with the filling squished in between them. Chocolate flavored, and your favorite flavor, vanilla.
You nodded your head, before looking away from the table, looking at the carpet resting on top of the brown porcelain floors. Cold hands jolted you as you felt pads of fingers pressing into your face before the hand turned you towards your right.
“Come on,” he smiled, although his smile did not reach his eyes.
“I put in all that work in Paris to get you these snacks, you don’t know who I had to bribe in order to get this back here.” In his other hand, he held the creme-colored wafer in his hands, holding up close to plump, glossy lips.
With a singular press, you held back a whine as you slowly opened your mouth. Keigo smirked, before prodding the sweet into your mouth. You bit down, a noticeable soft crunch before the saccharine flavor hit your tongue oh-so-perfectly. The vanilla bean was noticeable, paired with most high-grade sugar along with the perfect crunch of the wafer cookie. This was superior to the wafer cookies you would buy at the grocery stores. You hated how much you enjoyed it, how much the flavor, the filling, and the cookie melted on your tongue. You swallowed the dessert, already missing the flavor before feeling the slighted ragged edge pressed up against your lips.
Keigo continued to feed you the cookie, following up with another flavor as well. He wouldn't let you feed yourself the cookies, possibly fulfilling one of the many things he wanted you to do. By the time he stopped, he had fed you one of every flavor, which was quite a few before suddenly lifting up one of the streaming cups up to your face.
“Drink,” his voice was soft, but there was a stern tone, he wasn’t asking.
You bent your head over slightly, pushing your locs away from the side of your face, before taking a long sip of the smooth, silky hot chocolate, perfectly sweetened to the taste. You couldn't help but shiver as it hit your stomach, warming you from the inside. Keigo said nothing, shifting around a bit as he placed the cup down. You could only gaze down at your hands, seeing how the slight tremble was beginning to stop, your once nerve-wracking heart palpitations slowing down. Closing your eyes, sighing as you lean back against the leather couch, the cold feel only allows you to relax further.
The press of something soft had you opening your eyes, making eye contact with a Keigo holding a soft white napkin in his hands.
“Here, you have some crumbs on your face.”
Before you could protest, he pressed the wipe on your face a little harder, not enough to wipe away the makeup you had put on your face but enough to wipe away the mess you had made. You sat still, waiting for him to finish on his fonding. You took the time to really take in his home. With the lavishness and modernity of it all, you wonder just what he does for the university to make a living like this. You couldn't help but compare to Shouta’s quaint two-story home, and wondered…
Just how much power did Keigo have?
With money comes power, and in comparison, Keigo… Keigo may have the upper hand.
“... hello… hello?”
A snap broke you out of your trance, gasping a bit before quickly turning to the right, seeing Keigo’s concerned expression on you.
“Hey, you okay?” He placed a large hand on your knee.
It was like lightning struck, as you felt his caressing and rubbing away at your smooth skin, the softness of his in rough comparison to Shouta’s own. His hand slid down towards your inner thigh, all while his fingers rubbed circles in your skin. You let off a breathy gasp, cutting yourself off as you felt that familiar ache. You nodded your head, albeit a bit shaky as you tried to move a little to the left. His soft touch suddenly turned harsh, gripping your thigh and commanding in his own right. His face didn’t match the grip, the “concern” only shining further as he got closer to you.
“No, no you don’t look all right, you look tense…” His hand slid down further, a slight squeak erupting from your lips.
You tried to grab his hand, a last respite, but his other hand came up around, grabbing your hand before guiding it towards your other thigh. He used your hand and his one to part your thigh before the original hand continued toward your now-moist panties. You can feel his fingers slowly press against the fabric, right on top of your clit. The sudden feeling had you squirming in his hold
“Just let me help you,” he whispered, moving his head right near your ear.
“Keigo… Keigo wait ,” you tried to interrupt but he immediately cut you off, by suddenly tugging your panties to the side.
Your calls went unanswered, cut off as he slipped a finger into your wet pussy.
“Shush… shh …” he whispered, “do exactly what I say when I say it. You remember right?”
The flashes of Bambino enter your mind, the dinner that sets everything off for you and the next possible course of your life. Jet black hair and dark brown eyes flashed in your mind. You had to get him off of you somehow, but then something else popped into your mind. The texts, the emails, the pictures, the damning evidence that can ruin both your and Shouta’s lives together. The plans you had made after you had graduated, everything…
You let out a choked moan as Keigo sunk another finger into you, curling up right up to your g-spot. His fingers were wet with your lube, he moved them slowly in and out within you. Deeper and deeper you fell as he pressed his thumb against your clit, not before dipping it in your juices before doing so. Your body arched against the couch as he did so, squeezing and clenching around his long fingers.
“You feel good, baby?” He mumbled in your ear.
You didn’t say anything, you couldn’t say anything, you could tremble in his hold as he twisted and coiled his fingers. You could only let out another moan as you hunch forward as your leg quivered, clenching tighter around him. Your lower abdomen felt ablaze as tears fell down your face you let out a sudden screech, your climax hitting you at a sudden full speed. Your nails dug into your thighs as you spilled over, having a death clench around his fingers. With a heavy breath, you fell back against the couch, sweat dripping down your face. An emptiness echoed in you as Keigo slowly pulled his fingers out of you. With what strength you could muster, you turned your head to look at him just as he placed them right on his tongue, letting off a muted moan as he sucked the juices off of them.
After a few seconds, he pulled his fingers out, wiping his salvia on his sweatpants. Finding yourself, you placed your hands on either side of you, before beginning to push yourself up. Keigo must have heard you move because you felt two hands suddenly come up at your hips before suddenly turning your body. You squealed, back hitting the seats of the couch, long locs spread out under you. Your skirt rode up to your hips, revealing your pulled-back panties and soaked pussy to him.
“Wait, wait what are you doing now…? Did you get what you wanted?”
He only smirked, pulling your legs closer towards his hunched form, “that was just to help you relax, this is what i really wanted.”
He pushed your legs back as far as they could while still wearing the dress. You could feel his fingers curled underneath the fabric of your underwear, before basically ripping it off your body, throwing it onto the floor. With no other warning, he went at you like a madman, sucking and eating away at your cunt. Keigo sucked at your already sensitive clit, causing you to squeal and buck in his hold.
“Oh my god,” your voice cut in through the sound echoing through the house.
“Fuck, I can taste him… you were with him this morning weren’t you?”
You could only let out a whine, body shaking as much as could whilst he pinned you down.
Keigo lifted his face slightly before spitting right in your sopping cunt before diving back into you. Your back arched against the couch, unable to grapes anything. You could feel his tongue flicking your clit before his lips would wrap around it, sucking away at it. He was so messy with it, unlike Shouta, who would prefer for you to sit on his face and was a bit more refined with it. You could feel his lips smirking against you as he licked up and down, his tongue sticking into your hole. You couldn't help but take a glance at Kiego, seeing his face with your juices. The sight only caused you to lurch and buck right into his face.
“Oh,” his voice vibrates right against your clit, causing you to let out a gasp and moan, “someone’s enjoying themselves. What would dear ol’ Aizawa say?” He teased, laying long wet kisses right on your clit.
“Don’t worry,” he said, causing you to look back down at him.
“It’ll be our little secret.”

It was the day of her observation, to say she was anxious would be an understatement. Y/N had woken up early and skipped breakfast just so she could focus on getting the greenhouses cleaned up and organized before Umbridge had entered her classroom. As her first class filed in, so did Umbridge, still clad in pink. She was carrying a little notebook and a quill so she could write down things about the teachers.
“Professor Potter, how long have you been in this position?” Umbridge asked.
“I’ve been a professor for five years but I was Professor Sprout’s assistant for nearly ten,” Y/N responded gracefully.
“And you are in an intimate relationship with Professor Snape, is that correct?”
“I don’t understand what that has to do with you but yes, we’re in a relationship, have been for a while now.”
“How has the death of your brother affected you as a teacher?”
“Why are you asking personal questions like this? My brother died 15 years ago, not 15 hours ago,” Y/N retaliated back.
“Defensive. Do you favor students, like your nephew and his friends perhaps?”
“No, my nephew has failed assignments in my class before, as has Ron. I do not favor any student in my classroom.”
“Interesting. I shall sit in the back to observe your lesson.”
Y/N went on with teaching as she usually did, Umbridge watching her like a hawk. She treated Umbridge like any other student. She was demonstrating to her 6th years the proper way to handle wolfsbane but not risking having the students try yet. It was merely a demonstration for the students to be learning, it was one of her NEWT classes so they were more trusted to handle more dangerous plants. At the end of her lesson, Umbridge approached her with the observation.
“Although I believe that your behavior yesterday was highly unprofessional, you are a good teacher. You will stay on as Herbology professor but you act as you did yesterday, I will not hesitate to sack you,” Umbridge explained.
“Thank you professor Umbridge. I apologize for my behavior yesterday, you are right, it was highly unprofessional, I shouldn’t have shouted,”Y/N replied, playing into the woman’s game.
“I appreciate your apology, professor.” With that, the pink toad had left her classroom. Y/N waited a few moments before rushing to the dungeons to go tell Severus what had happened. By the time she got there, Umbridge was waiting out in the hall before it was time for classes to begin for the next hour. She rushed past the woman and straight to her partner who was surprised to see her.
“Hello, love. How did the observation go?” Severus asked.
“I get to keep my job! I mean I am on thin ice but she thought I was a good teacher!” She told him happily. Severus pulled her in for a tight embrace, kissing the top of her head and rocking them side to side.
“I’m happy for you love. Now go before the next hour begins. We will celebrate tonight if all goes well,” He told her with a smile on his face. She kissed his lips before happily skipping out of the room as his students began to file in. He chuckled to himself before returning to his desk, waiting for the rest of his students to enter and before the start of his observation. He knew he’d get a pass but he was still slightly nervous. However, Y/N was happily teaching her first years how to properly care for dittany and the usual properties of the plant.
As the end of classes for the day approached, her happiness hadn’t worn off yet. She was cleaning up her classroom after some messy second years, Harry had entered the room to hear his aunt humming as she cleaned. “Aunt Y/N? Can I talk to you?” She turned around to look at her nephew, a smile gracing her face.
“Of course my love. Come sit, do you want some tea?” She told him.
“No thanks,” Harry replied as he sat on a stool beside his aunt, “I want to apologize for what I said the other day. I get it, you’re just trying to protect me and keep me safe and I was out of line saying that to you. You are my family, you always will be, no matter what.”
“Thank you for apologizing, Harry. I understand why you said it but, you need to start thinking before you speak when you’re upset. Words can do just as much damage as your hands or a spell.” She motioned him for a hug which he gladly accepted. She finally felt like everything was falling into place, that everything was working itself out, that she was finally going to be okay.

ノ WANNA REQUEST?﹙here's the rules!﹚ ๋࣭⭑
what i don't write: nsfw, character x character ships, sensitive topics (self harm, sa, s*icide, etc.), a non-poc reader, male reader (nothing against this but i'm just not really good at it + plus, i don’t wanna risk misrepresenting y’all. so sorry <3)
what i do write: female / gn reader, sfw, platonic relationships, character x reader, headcanons, smaus, suggestive content (depends, but it’ll still be borderline sfw anyways) poc / Igbtq+ readers, & body type specific readers.
fandoms i write for: mha, aot, spiderman: atsv, jujutsu kaisen, bungou stray dogs, seraph of the end [subject to change]
characters i write for: i write for anyone in each fandom, but if you're not sure about a certain character, go ahead and send me an ask!
characters i don't write for: pro-heroes excluding aizawa & hawks, mineta, overhaul [subject to change]
REGARDING HEADCANONS: 3-4 characters max, it kinda allows me to make part twos especially if i like the prompt a lot !
REGARDING THE TIME IT MIGHT TAKE: i will try my best to get your request out as fast i can. i’m on tumblr a lot but at the same time i’m not yk? it’s complicated, but just know i’ll work on it as soon as i get it.

imagine blowing the little whistle, knowing it’s gonna get him riled up and hiding in bedroom. He storms in frantic, eyes slitted and chest heaving. Canines bared ready to sink his teeth in your shoulder while smother his cock in that sweet brown cunny. And your moans and whimpers just spur him on. He’s practically feral at this point , whispering in your ear that you’re a dumb slut and that he’s gonna give you what you wanted 🥴. Now, your face is pressed against the pillows with both hands pinned behind your back and he’s ramming the fuck out of you. I’m talking beating your shit in, mama. When you start cumming he yanks you back up by your hair cause he wants to hear you scream. He’s laughing now because you wanted to be a bitch and you got what you asked but he’s not done tho. That was a mating call. So he’s not stopping at just fucking you. Nay nay , he’s gonna breed you sis. Pumping his cum deep inside and pushing two fingers in to plug you back up when he finally pulls out. 🤭
#mutuals <3#mating season 🥵#i’m malfunctioning#holy water please 🥲#hawks x poc!reader#hawks x black!reader#hawks smut
